Just a small trip to know what's been going down in Great Lakes City, and even a Pokémon battle in the process, and someone is gonna be gone for a while to deal with something else, something that would lead to another dang crossover. Enjoy reading this new chapter everyone.
Spells and Louds.
Chapter 940: A City Pokémon brawl.
(April 9. Great Lakes City Park.)
A calm and peaceful time, but that peace seems to be kinda off the book since a battle is going down, a Pokémon battle of tag team proportions. Watching this are Lincoln, Casey, Nikki, Sameer and Laird, and they watch as the four others are teaming up and fighting each other, giving commands and instructions to their Pokémon companions.
Linka A. Spellman, with her Arcanine teaming up with Jordan Rosato and her Lopunny, and they are facing Ronnie Anne Santiago and her Dodrio and Sid Chang with her Kabutops. Let's do a break down on these Pokémon and other information.
Dodrio.
The Triple Bird Pokémon. Normal and Flying Type.
The three heads express joy, sorrow and anger as they plan strategy together. When it sleeps, one head remains awake. One of Doduo's 2 heads splits to form a unique species. It runs close to 40 MPH in prairies. It collects data and plans three times as wisely, but it may think too much and become immobilized. If one of the heads gets to eat, the others will be satisfied, too, and they will stop squabbling. Evolved from Doduo.
Kabutops.
The Shellfish Pokémon. Rock and Water Type.
A slim and fast swimmer. It slices its prey with its sharp sickles and drinks the body fluids. In the water, it tucks in its limbs to become more compact, then it wiggles its shell to swim fast. Kabutops once swam underwater to hunt for prey. It was apparently evolving from being a water dweller to living on land as evident from changes in its gills and legs. It swims at speeds of roughly 29 knots, quickly closing in on its prey and slashing into them with its scythes to finish them off. Evolves from Kabuto.
Arcanine.
The Legendary Pokémon. Fire Type.
A Pokémon that has been admired since the past for its beauty. It runs agilely as if on wings. A Pokémon whose beauty is legendary in China. It is said to run gracefully and lightly, as if it were flying. Arcanine is known for its high speed. It is said to be capable of running over 6,200 miles in a single day and night. The fire that blazes wildly within this Pokémon's body is its source of power. Its magnificent bark conveys a sense of majesty. Anyone hearing it can't help but grovel before it. Evolved from Growlithe.
Lopunny.
The Rabbit Pokémon. Normal Type.
An extremely cautious Pokémon. It cloaks its body with its fluffy ear fur when it senses danger. It is very conscious of its looks and never fails to groom its ears. It runs with sprightly jumps. The ears appear to be delicate. If they are touched roughly, it kicks with its graceful legs. It sheds its fur twice a year. Its winter fur is soft and fluffy. Once hot seasons are over, Lopunny's coat will be replaced with fur that holds a lot of insulating air in preparation for colder weather. Evolved from Buneary. Lopunny has a Megavolution form too.
The fight is still ongoing and the clash is looking pretty epic and intense.
Arcanine leaps into the air and uses a flame thrower, and this blinds Kabutops and Dodrio takes cover behind Kabutops, but then Lopunny leaps from above and she comes from behind and she strikes both Pokémon with one heck of a crosschop.
The two Pokémon stumble and then they stand tall, and then Kabutops is going in for an x-scissor and Dodrio uses agility and readies close combat to his foe, but instead they are surrounded by fire from Arcanine, and so Kabutops uses stone edge and slings it everywhere.
Lopunny then dodges the attacks and then she goes in for her own close combat, and then Arcanine joins in with fire fang towards Kabutops, but then Kabutops uses water gun and knocks Arcanine away and then Dodrio runs around and makes a sand storm and this also knocks away Lopunny.
Lopunny and Arcanine stand tall and they charge towards their foes with fire fang and mega punch ready, and then Kabutops and Dodrio charge in with steel claw and steel wing ready to engage and they are all so close to taking the other down.
Then Linka calls out. "Alright, that is enough." They're Pokémon stop engaging each other and they leap backwards and land in front of their human companions and look to one another, and Ronnie Anne smirks.
"Dang, Dodrio got faster and stronger. I am impressed." Ronnie Anne then pets her Pokémon's three heads.
Sid then hugs Kabutops. "That was so awesome, you were so awesome! You went in there and showed them who the boss was! Prehistoric Pokémon are so cool!"
Jordan chuckles. "Pretty cool there guys." She then goes over to the bench and she helps brush the fur of her Pokémon companion. "You all did an extremely awesome fight back there, we are impressed and we hope to see more of that next time we clash."
"It might happen again, soon" replied Lincoln, he goes over and so do the others. "That was pretty wicked cool, and perhaps next time we could join in." Absol nods and accepts being pet by Lincoln. "So, what else do we need to know about what's been going on, besides what Casey did."
Casey recalls what he did and how a little bit dumb it went down, to the fact he tried to make some records and look awesome and cool, but knowing that the others didn't have awesome stories and were nothing more than made up.
Ronnie Anne sighs. "Well, I am so glad that my Tio and Tia were able to deal with Carl, he was inches away from tricking the teachers to not give any more tests and even tried to trick Principal Valenzuela to let him be the principal and make her the hall monitor."
Linka is surprised by that still and she pets Arcanine. "And all he did was turn Chess into a tactical advantage. Looks like he might be good at RTS games one day."
Jordan then asks. "Do you guys think Carl will try it again?"
Nikki replies about that. "Chances he might, but if he does then he'll have to deal with his parents. I mean, he is a troubled kid and I am surprised that they haven't thought about sending him to a private school for troubled boys."
They are all unaware that Tio Carlos heard this and so did Tia Frida and they were walking Carlitos around, and now they both have something to think about, something that Carl will be way too afraid and try to do the right thing next time.
Linka then asks. "So, what about the whole thing with Carl and Alexis?"
Sid explains that one. "Alright, so Carl thought about making Alexis into this bad boy, but it didn't work and just made Alexis get hated by the very kids who were picking on him and they almost started a fight. But then Adelaide reported this to the principal and both parties were sent off to the principal's office."
Ronnie Anne continues next. "We don't know what went down next, but we know that Carl is in deep trouble and so do the two bullies and Alexis is walking away from this and turning back to the normal tuba playing kid we know."
Lincoln smirks. "Good to know, from what we all have come to understand, Carl Casagrande is not the best kind of help to even go with. The kid is a maniac and demented fool, and I wouldn't be surprised if he grew up into a damned life of tricking and vile schemes, and that reminds us of..."
"Flip!" They replied, mostly Lincoln, Jordan, Ronnie Anne and Linka, though the others haven't even met flip, and so they remain silent, but then Laird asks.
"Guys, we wanna know what went down when you fought that giant monster lizard. Was he that hard to fight?" They then tell them about what went down in Tokyo, when they went off to fight against Shin Godzilla, and with the help from the King of the Monsters Godzilla.
(The Royal Fortress.)
Onboard this place, and Japan is still being repaired and healed, and so many folks are grateful for the destruction of the monster who showed up and apparently the people wish for a statue of the King of the Monsters Godzilla who came to fight the hideous version of Godzilla that brought ruin to their lands.
The Royal Fortress is somewhere far from the coast, and they are reinforcing the Imperial Navy and tons of supplies still being sent, they might have more than one week to be there before they depart from the seas of Japan and right now Martin is going through reports on the progress of fixing this country.
"Alright, so we have tons of supplies being sent off and we have yet to even get it off this place, also replacing the five ships that got sunk when Shin Godzilla surfaced. Three Shogun Battleships and two Naginata Destroyers. This sure has been something."
Martin then sees Jack Cyber finishing his report. "Radiation levels and legit all gone and even the ones deep within the bottom of the water, and no leaks headed out to sea or anywhere else. We have kept the contamination contained and sent off to fuel something else."
Martin nods. "Awesome, well we just need to finish off the rest of the stuff here and then we can head off out of this place."
"And what of this statue the people plan to make and setup?" asked Jack Cyber.
Victor shows up and he lands off from his Twinblade Gunship. "They plan to make it soon, but not now. We're gonna have to wait, they have to try and fix the other things they may have lost after what went down and so many folks are dang grateful for what went down, the aid of Godzilla and our assistance to stop that monster, glad things are done with that freak."
"No kidding and..." Martin then stops when they see the portal opening and the guardian comes through and he races past them and heads to the great gate and his eyes are on fire and he casts fiery fel energy to the great gate and the portal is made. "Gyro?"
"No time! Someone has ended up in the wrong world and I must find her!" Gyro then races through the portal, and then the portal closes. The others are confused, and then Jack Cyber checks his scanners.
"Guys, the guardian went somewhere that is... Teeming of the same thing we have, a world with Louds, but a helluva energy signature, that from hell. Something seems strange about this." This makes the others concerned, it means the guardian is inbound for another world that is a loud alternate dimension, but which one?
