The aftermath of how things have been, and the Wolfwalkers have now been made into local residents of Royal Woods Michigan, and enjoying their new home and how they can continue things around there, adapting and looking forward to whatever else they have planned, a bright future for the Wolfwalkers and whatever comes next. Mostly Robyn, and something she is curious about... I think we all know what that might be. Enjoy reading this new chapter everyone.

Spells and Louds.
Chapter 953: Wolfwalkers new home and curious thoughts.

(April 30. Somewhere within the forest of Tall Timbers Park.)

The guardian has arrived, and he morphs from his raven form and is walking down the path and looking for something. "Right, now I do recall that they are somewhere here. I just need to..." He then hears some barking. "Oh, not again." The wolf pack then comes over and they dog pile onto the guardian. "No!" They all begin to lick and sniff him. "Get away from me you maniacs! Get away!"

Marcy arrives, and even Jordan, Linka and Peter Sharp. They are surprised to see this happen, and this makes Peter smirk. "This is as funny as the time when Leon was attacked by a condor."

Linka then looks to the man. "Sharp, that was years ago, also that was not funny because he was being attacked and that condor hated him. He was in serious pain, this has nothing to do with..."

"AH! My leg!" Gyro is trying to fight off the now biting wolves. "You bastards!"

They all are startled by this, "Nevermind, they are playing rough." Jordan then whistles and she calls out. "Back away from the guardian and stop biting him!" The wolves all scatter and back away and they stand tall and in formation.

Then they see the others showed up, the Wolfwalkers. Bill, Robyn, Moll and Mebh. "Sorry about that, guardian. They are getting used to the territory and trying to find some peace and calm down" replied Moll. "They are also handling well as guards, and recognizing smells, I guess they smelled you as friendly and then went rough."

Mebh goes over to calm them down. "They just liked some company, and they like seeing you around, as always." She then hugs one of the wolves, and then Robyn goes over and she helps calm them down.

"Yeah, I can tell." Gyro then slowly gets up and he calms down. "They are rough, and I am not a chew toy." He then calms down. "So, we came here to know how things are going along living here, I couldn't be here the other day due to a problem in Azeroth involving migrating Gnolls."

They all didn't know what to even make of what he had just said and then they guide the guardian and the others to their lovely little cottage, which was helped made by some of the Royal Defenders. The cottage is also neighboring a cave, in which the wolves reside and also are carvings on the walls which are to symbolize more of their ancestry from the other dimension.

The place is surrounded by many trees and it makes the place look like an awesome place for folks such as them to reside in. Robyn then speaks. "We can prepare some tea for you lot, and something to..."

"No need, we just wanna know how things have been doing" said Jordan. "We have seen you guys around the town lately and getting things that seemed to be recipes and spices, and we wanna know... How are things going on residing here in the woods?"

Marcy then asks. "Any guests come over within Tall Timbers forest?"

Linka then asks. "Any troubles happening at possibly night time when entering Wolfwalker mode?"

Peter Sharp then asks. "What about the cave? Have you guys managed to get magic building up within there?"

The Wolfwalkers then tell them about what they have been doing to adapt.

Bill. "Everything has been doing well, we haven't had some bad times when we went to the town for something and I am glad about my way to earn some money around here. Through hunting and also aiding in patrols and I even helped the local law enforcement when someone was... Driving away at full speed?"

Robyn. "We haven't had any guests around, but these Pokémon do come by and they don't do any trouble. They are quite friendly and not dangerous to us, but we are going to be careful since you have told us about that some are dangerous."

Mebh. "We just have the usual stuff we can do when we go wolf, and we have continued this ever since we have been living here. Also, Robyn and I are planning to take the challenge and... I mean, try and see if we can cross the nearby stream."

Mebh smiles nervously and so does Robyn, while their parents look to them stern, they know these two plan to try and take the challenge in leaping across the sloped area where Kick Sharp does some stunts.

Moll. "The cave has gained some very good forms of magic, it doesn't seem like from you. The magic may have been formed when Mebh and I along with Robyn and Bill were doing a small prayer to the Wolfwalkers of the past before us, and we're happy to know that everything within there is progressing well with the ancient magical essence."

Gyro smiles hearing this. "Good to know, you lot are doin quite well living in Royal Woods. Looks like you lot..." He then realizes something. "Robyn Goodfellowe, somethin seems to be wrong with your mind?" They all look towards the girl and she seems nervous.

Bill is concerned and he asks his daughter. "Robyn, what's wrong?"

"Is there something goin on with ya?" asked Mebh as she goes over and is concerned with her sister.

Robyn then asks. "I am curious about something I have seen days ago, the place where many of the children of the town tend to head off to. The school, I would... I would like to try it and see what I can learn."

They all remain silent, they didn't see that coming. Bill then speaks. "Oh my, well... That is, something we need to talk about." Mebh on the other hand didn't like this, she didn't want her sister to go someplace that she doesn't like, because Mebh doesn't wanna be at the school, and she doesn't want her sister to go there either.

(Somewhere in the Outlands.)

King's Canyon is where they are and the team is composed of Luna Frost with Victor, and they are not alone, with them is one of the newest members of the Apex Games, and her name is Mad Maggie.

Mad Maggie.
Margaret "Mad Maggie" Kōhere was born on Salvo in 2679, growing up in a rough part of the planet. She did not have family growing up, but she did have her closest friend, Walter "Fuse" Fitzroy. She is a notorious criminal, dubbed so-called rebel, and a warlord and she has been sent to the Apex Games as her death sentence, but she might be looking into something else that is lurking in secret within the Apex Games. Also, she is a total nightmare of fear and anger to her old pal.

Maggie is an Offensive Legend with powerful combat abilities. Her Riot Drill forces her enemies out of cover by spitting fire through it, and her Warlord's Ire allows her to track her enemies and move quickly with shotguns. Finally, her Wrecking Ball lays a trail of speed boosting pads to propel her squad into battle at high speed.

The trio take cover behind some stone cover, and then Victor deploys an electric field that is destroying all projectiles. Luna Frost then comes out from cover, and she looks for an opportunity of chance, and then she sees something. "Alright, this is my kill, dudes!"

Luna Frost then sends a powerful reign of ice from the sky and it hits the hidden location where Seer, Gibraltar and Pathfinder, and then she returns to cover. "Alright, that is one team down, but chances some of them are gonna be out of that trouble."

"Then might as well show them how deadly we can be together, kid." Mad Maggie comes out of cover and she uses her riot drill and it hits a metallic cover, and the trio behind there are getting hurt from the burning fire, and so Horizon, Mirage and Bangalore get out of there.

But they are now exposed and so Luna uses her energy weapon, Mad Maggie switches to an assault rifle and Victor tosses a grenade and they take them down. "Good strategy, now we just need to get to the middle of this place and win this" replied Victor.

Mad Maggie scoffs. "Whatever works for the rest of you, I just wanna see what the bloody hell is going on within this whole syndicates games. Someone is behind this and I know it's the daddy of that fast paced robot legged maniac."

Luna Frost then recalls. "Octane? What about the dude?"

"Yeah, I thought your issue was with Fuse" said Victor. "I recall, you guys have a major history of friendship and pure rivalry."

Mad Maggie laughs and snickers at those words. "Yeah, that is true. I always did have a once good friendship with Wally back on Salvo, but things changed and he went his way and I went mine and he lost an arm through that shit too. But I got my sights on someone else who want me to be a villain and I ain't gonna disappoint."

Mad Maggie then picks up the weapons from Horizon and she arms up. "But that doesn't mean I can't enjoy myself and see this so-called death sentence through. Might as well be on the toes and hunt that bastard down. Now, where the hell is Wally? Time to wipe the fire out of that damned fuse of his." She then races away from them.

Luna Frost and Victor are confused by this, so they all race over to help Mad Maggie with whatever she is gonna be doing. "Dude, it is a damn shame that my kid isn't here. He'd love to be part of this" relied Luna. "But he has something else to do, and that something involves her counterpart."

Victor then realizes. "Oh, so that's why I'm here instead of him." They continue this fight, as the Apex Games continue for the legends of the game.

A/N: The Wolfwalkers are now calm and residing well within the town, and it seems like someone wants to learn some stuff about the one place that has her interest in and it feels good to be back in the Apex Games, with a very dangerous warlord/rebel/bad gal.
