So, here we are. After almost two years Endless is only a few chapters shy of wrapping up. It's very surreal that pretty soon here I'll have a completed story under my belt.
Too all of you who've made it this far, thank you so much for enjoying the story. When I started there was two people reading it and now there's something like a hundred regular readers and the story as a whole is as of writing this the story's about just about to hit 10k views which is crazy.
The other big news is that once Endless is done we'll be moving on to the sequel. I'm still undecided on the name but I'll officially reveal here that it will taking place in the Rodney House from episode seven. That's a setting I've always enjoyed since me and my buddy created it back when we were kids, I really enjoyed exploring it in Endless and I think there's still a lot of potential there for Total Drama challenges. Which is my way of saying that yes; the traditional challenges will be coming back, as well as few other series staples we didn't have in Endless.
Currently the roster is still at about twenty characters though I might bump it up as high as twenty-four. For everyone that's submitted a character so far, thank you. The cast is coming together very nicely, and I can already tell they'll have a very different dynamic than the last batch. We've already got about fourteen character slots filled so if you haven't submitted a character yet, now's the time to do it.
Feel free to submit as many characters as you want, I'm hoping to use a character from everyone that suggested one so at least one of your picks should make it in. I'm looking for a diverse cast so give as much characters as you want, the more variety the better. And of course, you don't have to submit all your picks at once. A few people have already given me second batches. I've already got enough great picks that I could fill out the rest of the cast but I want to give everyone that hasn't submitted anyone one last chance to do so.
Finally, as a little way of celebrating this season and hyping the next one I want to do a little Q&A. If you've got any sort of thoughts or questions on the either Endless or it's sequel, shot me a review or a PM and there'll be another update next Saturday to answer them. I don't do as much interactions as most of the other authors but I want to start changing that, and this seemed like a fun way to do it.
