After what went down the other day, now someone wants to prove themselves to try and be a junior zoo keeper, but that ended already and yet he isn't gonna stop, and we know who it is and what he will aim for to prove so. Enjoy reading this new chapter guys.

Chapter 981: Cenozoic animal on the loose.

(June 7. Great Lakes City Zoo.)

Another glorious day here, and so many folks have come to see the new enclosure, which is the saber toothed tiger and they all wanna see this thing in action and lucky for them, it's live feeding time. They all wanna watch as this former extinct animal is going to show them what he can do.

Becca Chang is here to watch this happen, and the ones who will make this live feeding happen are the junior zoo keepers, Adelaide Chang and CJ Casagrande. They both have the Instructions on what they send first and its chickens that will be sent off, followed by a goat, and then an animal that FutureTech have found that are not extinct. The dodo.

Dodo – (Raphus cucullatus) is an extinct flightless bird that was endemic to the island of Mauritius, which is east of Madagascar in the Indian Ocean. The dodo's closest genetic relative was the also-extinct Rodrigues solitaire. The two formed the subfamily Raphinae, a clade of extinct flightless birds that were a part of the family including pigeons and doves. The closest living relative of the dodo is the Nicobar pigeon. A white dodo was once thought to have existed on the nearby island of Réunion, but it is now believed that this assumption was merely confusion based on the also-extinct Réunion ibis and paintings of white dodos.

But FutureTech found out, that they are alive and have been thriving, deep within the lands of Madagascar, and another population found deep within Africa and South America, hiding in areas where no one has searched, which means they are now dubbed as a non-extinct species.

As everyone waits for the live feeding to begin, someone sneaks around the zoo and he does his best to remain unseen and that someone is none other than Carlino "Carl" Casagrande, and he smirks at everything going around. 'Yes, this is gonna work.'

He then goes through the plan he has. 'Alright, so all I need to do is let one of the animals out of the enclosure and then when the trouble starts to happen, then I Carl Casagrande will come and save everyone. Now, I need to figure out which animal to let loose.'

Carl then goes around and he looks around the zoo for the right animal to perhaps start some trouble. He bypasses the lions, the elephants, the giraffe's and the crocodile's and alligators and he sees them playing cards. "Weird."

Carl sees the Komodo dragon known as Keon and he thinks about this. "Nope." So he heads off to look for something else, and he even walks by the Galapagos tortoises. Carl also sees the falcon's, and he walks away from that and then he spots the anaconda and other snake enclosures, but he doesn't go for it because he knows it won't end well.

Carl then sees the porcupines and he backs away from them, and they have not forgotten them. Then Carl sees the one enclosure that he can work with, the ostrich enclosure and recently they have more of them, and the ex-girlfriend of Sergio named Priscilla has found a new mate, and she is expecting an egg soon. Carl smirks. "Perfect." He then goes over and he opens the gate, and then he runs off.

The ostrich see the gate open, and they all are confused and walk over to it. They all now think that the zoo keepers allowed this so they can be able to interact with the folks, which means they think it is the time of the month when animals can spend some time with the visitors to the zoo, and so they leave the place, but Priscila and her new mate, Craig remain behind, awaiting for when Priscila will lay an egg soon.

Carl sees this and so he prepares for the time for trouble to start, but he doesn't know that Becca Chang is here, and even Lincoln Spellman, Luna Spellman, Linka A. Spellman and Jordan Rosato, and she brought her Indoraptor as well to watch the live feeding.

Even Carlota, Carlos, Carlitos and Frida are here, and the rest of Ronnie Anne and Sid's friends, and Ronnie Anne and Sid are here too to witness this.

The group head towards the location of the saber-toothed tiger, and they see the chickens have been let loose and everyone cheers when they see the Cenozoic animal is now chasing them and taking them down, it felt like watching an actual beast in the wilds, and the goat will be next to run around.

"This is pretty cool" replied Lincoln, he then eats some popcorn and so do the others.

"As long as they do this, then his predator instincts will remain, along with some tamed aspects when it comes to steering clear from human stuff when the time comes for the big dude to depart from here" replied Luna.

"Yeah and..." Linka stops when she sees an ostritch is eating her popcorn. "What the heck?" she then shoos it away, and it backs off, and then the rest of the people notice the ostriches roaming around. "Umm, is it the time of the month when the animals are let out from their enclosures?"

Becca sees all of this happen and she is confused. "Now, I might not work for the zoo anymore. But I still know one thing, this is not the day for it. At least they don't cause any trouble." The staff are then notified and they head over to rally the ostriches and send them back to their enclosure.

Some of the ostriches panic and run off, and causing some damage by knocking over some food stands, and accidentally opening the enclosure of the monkey's and they run around and do some trouble. Jordan sighs. "Alright, let's clean this up." she then rides her Indoraptor and they race off to rally the monkeys and then Lincoln, Luna and Linka go over and help.

"What on earth is happening here?!" said Carlos, he then ducks when an ostritch leaps over him, and he leads the others to safety.

Then someone calls out. "Ladies and gentlemen, the one true junior zoo keeper is here to save the day!" Carl then swings from a vine, but he hits the lamp post and is now on the back of an ostrich and this startles the large flightless bird and it runs out of control and Carl tries to control this animal. "All according to plan, I got this!"

All the folks back away and are kept safe from an ice barrier made by Luna Frost, and then Jordan manages to rally the monkey's back, but luring them with something shiny and then throwing it back into their enclosure, and Carl sees this. "Hey! I was gonna do that!" The ostritch then knocks over the lever, which then opens the enclosure of the saber-toothed tiger!

The beast sees this and sees the much larger flightless birds, and so he slowly takes his leave from the enclosure and watches the madness unfolds, and then waits for the right moment to attack, but he doesn't know who to attack or what.

Adelaide and CJ see this. "No!" they go over to help, but they don't see the saber-toothed tiger anymore, and then CJ calls out. "The saber-toothed tiger is on the loose, we need to find him!"

The others are surprised to hear this. "What?!"

Carl also hears this. "What?! This wasn't a part of the plan!"

"Carl!" The boy sees his parents are now cross with him. "When this is over, you are going to be in so much trouble!" Then the ostritch stops when it sees something in front of it, the saber toothed tiger. The beast growls and readies to attack.

The ostritch panics and Carl is knocked off, but then the flightless bird runs off and this angers the Saber-toothed tiger, but then he sees Carl and he is right there and waiting. Carl sees the animal and screams. "Someone come and save me, please!"

The Saber Toothed tiger lunges, but then Lincoln tackles him and they both face each other. Lincoln smirks. "I have never encountered this moment before. Alright, let's dance!" He then dodges the attacks from this animal, as it keeps lunging at him. Lincoln has a tranquilizer in his blaster. "Come on, keep coming. Just a little bit closer..."

Carl then yells. "Eat this!" He then throws the trash can and it nearly hits the saber-toothed tiger, to redirect it towards Carl. "Oh come on. How did that not work?!" He then runs for it, and so Lincoln leaps over and is now on the back of the animal, and the Saber-toothed tiger tries to knock him off.

The Saber-toothed tiger then hits a nearby hotdog stand and they fall to the ground, Lincoln gets back up, but then he yells in pain as his right arm is now bitten by the Saber-toothed tiger and he tries to aim the tranq dart, but he misses and it flies off and hits one of the ostriches. "Get off of me!"

Luna stops and sees this. "Lincoln!" She races over to stop this, but she gets knocked over by one of the ostriches and Jordan and her Indoraptor stop rallying the ostriches and go to help Lincoln leaving Becca, Sid, Adelaide and CJ to deal with them, and so does Linka. She gets a better view thanks to the giraffe's and she readies her sniper rifle to put the animal to sleep.

Lincoln continues to struggle with the Saber-toothed tiger and the beast drags him away, and Lincoln covets his blaster into his claws, but for the right side and he impales it t the leg of the Cenozoic animal and it roars in pain and then bites harder on his left arm and drags him away. "Get away from my son and let him go!" But the animal keeps backing off and doesn't let go of Lincoln.

Just then, the Saber-toothed tiger and Lincoln both fall into another enclosure, and they land at the bottom, they all go over and see that the Saber-toothed tiger is getting back up, and it roars. Lincoln slowly gets back up, and holds onto his bleedin left arm. "You know what? I don't even like Saber-toothed tigers!"

The Saber-toothed tiger roars and attacks Lincoln, but then gets hit by a tranquilizer and then is knocked out, and lands in front of Lincoln, and he sighs in relief, he then looks up and sees the others. "All good here, but I need some medical..." Then the leopard attacks him, they landed in the leopard enclosure.

Lincoln then manages to punch the animal away, but he didn't know that a loud tearing sound is heard, and then he uses his right arm to shoot his shredder blaster and he fires knock out darts, and the leopard is knocked out and down.

But then he sees that the leopard did grab something from him, his left arm and Lincoln is horrified and he looks to his left arm and blood is gushing out. "Lincoln, no!" Luna arrives, and so does Jordan, and they see Lincoln collapse to the ground. Luna goes over and she uses her ice powers to freeze and stop the bleeding. "You're gonna be alright, you have to be alright!"

Jordan is in tears, and she watches as Lincoln closes his eyes, while holding onto her hand.

Linka is in shock, but she snaps out of it and she calls for backup and the whole outcome was recorded and everyone sees what has become of the one known as Commander Freezer Burn, and all from the cause of the saber-toothed tiger, and ended by a leopard. But they all look to the one who started this, Carl Casagrande.

Carl sees the outcome, and the blood on the grounds, and he sees everyone looking at him, and his familia are horrified by his actions. "Carl, what have you done?"

Carl is in tears, and he sees that what he has done, has made things worse, and then a dropship arrives, followed by a Rathalos, and the Aegis Battlecruiser. Carl Casagrande is in serious deep shit trouble.
