A/N: Welcome back. I want to clarify some things. This is not CANON and as the description says it's OOC (out of character). No Voldemort is not gone forever. He only didn't make a Horcrux out of Harry. He still has bits of his soul in his Diary, Marvolo's ring, the locket, Hufflepuff's cup, Ravenclaws diadem, and that pesky snake is hiding somewhere as well. Harry will find out when he starts Hogwarts about certain people he grows to love were/are Death Eaters. Just hold on. This is going to be a long story! Warning: A smidgen of smut ahead
Lily stretched her sore muscles the next morning and found the other side of the bed cold. 'How long ago did Sev leave?' She thought to herself. After putting her robe and slippers on, she headed downstairs. As soon as she stepped into the hallway, she could smell fresh coffee and cinnamon rolls. With a smile, she peaked into the kitchen to see Severus in some plaid pyjama bottoms and a white tee sucking icing off his finger.
"Good morning." She giggled as he greeted her without even turning around.
"Morning. The bed was lonely without you." Lily walked closer and he turned to gather her in his arms. When he kissed her, she could taste the sweetness of the icing he used on the cinnamon rolls.
"I wanted to make your favourite." He said with a shrug.
"I can't believe you remembered that cinnamon rolls are my favourite breakfast food. I told you that when we were eleven." Lily smiled sweetly at him before pulling him closer for another chaste kiss. "Molly and Arthur will probably keep the kids most of the day. Did you want to do anything?"
The lustful look he gave her told her exactly what he wanted to do.
Harry and Ron were running through the tall grass next to the Burrow property when the heard Mrs. Weasley calling them back to the house for lunch. "Race ya!" Ron yelled before taking off. Harry quickly overtook the youngest male Weasley much to his chagrin. Violet was asking Mrs. Weasley when they were going home as Harry sat next to Ron.
"Well, I was thinking after lunch we could all go visit The Lovegood's. They just moved in and have a little girl Ginny's age. I met them the other morning and Mrs. Lovegood gave us an open invitation to come visit. How does that sound?" Everyone agreed that they would take the walk over. Harry was a bit annoyed though. He could sense that they were being kept from home for a reason, 'Maybe mum and Uncle Sev are setting up a surprise for me and Vi.' The young wizard thought to himself as he ate the last bite of his sandwich.
As they got closer, strange plants were hanging in the yard and by the house, and odd knick knacks were decorating the yard. "Stay off the Dirigible Plums? What the heck is a dirigible plum?" Fred asked.
Suddenly a soft, angel-like voice was heard, "They enhance the ability to accept the extraordinary.." The large group all turned to see a young girl with long blonde hair and bright silvery eyes. She had a crown of flowers sitting atop her head and her feet were bare. "Hello, and welcome." She curtsied then skipped up the steps to her front door. "Mum? Dad? There is a very large group of visitors out here." She announced as she open the door and disappeared
"Oh! Molly, hello!" A beautiful witch that looked like a fully grown version of the girl they'd just met appeared. "Xenophyllius? My love? Our new neighbours have come to say hello." A tall man with shoulder-length white hair came to stand beside her. He wore a strange necklace and only one sock.
"Come! Come! Welcome to our humble abode!" The strange look of the outside only spilled into the inside of the home. "Pandora, Luna, and I welcome you. Please let's meet in the back garden for some lemonade and a chat." Mr. Lovegood gestured to another door.
Luna took Harry's hand. He blushed as he'd never held a girls hand that wasn't his family. "What, what are you doing?" He asked the girl.
Luna smiled and very bluntly told Harry, "Holding your hand. I'm going to marry you one day. I've decided it." She then tugged him along to follow her out the house. Harry turned even more red at the girls announcement.
Violet and Ginny giggled behind him so he told them to 'shut it.' As they chatted, Pandora explained that her husband owned his own magazine and she was an experimental spell caster. "Sometimes I create new and exciting spells, other times, nothing extraordinary happens. It's quite exciting. Why, just the other day I created a spell that puts your husband to sleep when he just won't keep his hands off of you, didn't I, my sweet?"
Molly blushed knowing what the witch was saying. Thankfully the children were oblivious. "Luna seems very sweet on our friend's son Harry. She's holding his hand. How cute!" Pandora and Xenophyllius looked over to where they saw their daughter. She looked enamoured with the messy-haired boy.
"Luna is very intuitive. My mother was a famous Seer, and we believe she has the gift of sight as well. She predicted that our move here would bring us new friends and look now. New friends!" Pandora explained.
Violet watched the new girl with her brother closely. The girl was making Harry uncomfortable but it was only because she was so straightforward. She decided she liked this girl. She'd become great friends with her. "Luna? Do you like to read?" The blonde brightened up at the question.
"Oh yes! My whole room is wall to wall! Dad says I'll be a Ravenclaw someday. I had already seen that though. And you will be my best friend, Violet." She looked back at Harry, "and then when Harry marries me, we'll become sisters." She hugged Violet tightly and the girls giggled. Ginny turned bright red.
"Violet's MY best friend! She can't be yours!" She stomped her foot. George and Fred came over and attempted to diffuse the situation.
"Now, now Ginny. Violet can have more than one best friend. Can't you, Vi?" Luna smiled at Ginny then took her hand.
"Don't worry Ginny. I am going to be your best friend as well. Although. I see you in red and gold, but we are all going to be great friends." Luna gave the girl a placating smile.
"Three more years Freddy! Hogwarts isn't going to know what hit 'em!" George announced. The kids all played by the brook on the other side of the property until Molly and Arthur called over that it was time to leave.
"Hallo!" Lily heard as she finished up with dinner.
"I'm in the kitchen!" She yelled out so Sirius could hear her.
"Where's batman?" He asked as he kissed her head. Lily smacked his chest.
"Stop calling him that. I told you. Sev is upstairs. I tired the poor man out." Sirius fake gagged and Lily winked at him before giggling. "Molly should be bringing the kids through shortly. Could you set the table? And where is Remus?" She usually had both wizards over for dinner Sunday nights.
"Getting laid I think." He chuckled. "He was supposed to go out to dinner with that Bones chick but she cancelled. He then ran into some witch he dated last year and never came home last night." Lily looked worried. "Don't worry Lily, if I don't hear from here by the morning, I get the Longbottom's on the case."
Severus came down after hearing a man's voice. "Good evening, Black. No boyfriend?" He said it with a smirk.
"Play nice! I'm going to wash up before dinner." Lily kissed both men on their cheek then disappeared up the stairs.
"Well?" Sirius asked Severus, who looked at him questioningly. "How was it?" Severus sneered at him and scoffed.
"As if I'd talk to you about it." He grabbed plates from the cupboard so Sirius grabbed the cutlery.
The men set the table together in silence until Sirius finally broke it, "Come on, Snape! I'm seriously curious. Was it your first time? We're going to be friends, you know? Lily will make sure if it. You may as well tell me." He smiled at the wizard until he finally broke.
"Fine! It was fucking fantastic, okay!" Sirius clapped his hands and smiled again.
"I bet it was! Lily's a firecracker!" Severus looked at him quickly and had to know.
"You and her? You ever? You know." Sirius looked up in question then realised what he was asking.
"No! Shit! Lily's like my little sister and was my best mates wife." He chuckled, "I just know she's a very passionate person. A formidable witch." That they could agree on.
The whoosh of the Floo announced the kids were back. "Oh good, you're here! The kids are going to wash their hands before coming down. I've gotta get back. Please tell Lily the kids were well behaved and made a new friend. I'm sure they'll tell you all about it. Ta ta!" Molly waved then left via Floo again.
"Now that was a witch I used to dream about having. Arthur would kill me if he knew. But damn, that little waist and the large chest. A perfect hourglass figure. Mmm." Sirius waggled his eyebrows and nudged Severus with his elbow.
"Telling Sev about your crush on Molly or Alice?" Sirius actually paled, "Wow! You really are becoming chummy!" Lily giggled as she came through the doorway followed by Harry and Violet.
"Uncle Sev! Uncle Sirius!" The kids shouted in unison before hugging the wizards. Dinner appeared on the table with the swish of Lily's wand.
"And Luna said that we are going to be best friends in Ravenclaw and that her and Harry are going to marry one day." Violet had been telling them all about their new friend Luna Lovegood.
"Lovegood? Isn't that name of that strange wizard that writes The Quibbler? I have it in my bathroom. Great reading material for number twos!" Sirius cackled at himself.
"Gross Sirius, but yes." Lily answered. Harry was quiet. "Harry, darling, what's wrong?" He looked up from his mashed peas and smiled softly.
"How old do I have to be to get married?" Everyone chuckled.
Christmas arrived quickly. Lily was getting the children dressed and ready for the Malfoy's annual Christmas party held every Christmas Eve since 1983. "Draco said his dad is getting him his first real broom for Christmas this year. He's only a month older than me. Do you think I could get one for my birthday at least?" Severus could here the boy asking his mother about getting a 'real' broom for the nth time that month and smiled to himself.
"We'll see." Lily said to satisfy the boys questions.
"Hello, you three. Ready to get going? Party starts soon." Severus poked his head in the doorway with a smirk. Violet skipped over to him and he scooped her up. "Violet Mariah Potter, you look like a princess." She threw her tiny arms around his neck and hugged him tight.
"Thank you! Mummy did you hear? He says I look like a princess." Harry snorted a laugh out.
"You need some lessons on being a lady first." He laughed until he saw the look his mother and Uncle Sev were giving him, "Sorry, only kidding Vi." She nodded curtly and asked to be put back down before joining her mother in the hallway.
"Harry, can I talk to you?" He motioned for Lily to go down to the Floo. Harry sat on the bed and looked up at the tall wizard. Severus paced a bit then finally said what he needed to say, "Harry, I love your mum very much. I'm growing very attached to you and Violet as well." Harry smiled and nodded. "I don't want you to resent me; don't want you thinking I'm trying to replace your dad."
Harry looked at him with mild fascination, "Are you going to marry her?" Severus smirked.
"Not quite yet, Harry, but someday I would like to. I just want to know if you would be okay with that." Harry looked down and thought hard. Would he like that? He hardly knew the guy, but he was nice enough and made his mum happy. Violet thought of him as a dad already.
Harry didn't remember his father. He died when he was just a baby. His mother told him that he died trying to protect them from a dark wizard, but that Severus had been the one to save them in the end; vanquishing the dark wizard, Voldemort. He looked back up at the man before him and nodded. "Yeah, yeah I think I'd be okay with that."
Narcissa had really outdone herself this year. There were at least a dozen decorated Christmas trees around the manor, enchanted snow falling from the ceiling, twinkling fairy lights illuminated the ballroom and the dessert table was covered with every type of cake, pie, pastry and biscuit you could ever want. Currently the children were taking sleigh rides around the property.
Draco was laughing at a joke that Harry had just told him when he saw his Godfather dancing with Harry's mum on the balcony. "Your mum and my Godfather look really happy together. What do you think of him?" Harry turned to look in the direction his friend was looking.
"I mean, he's nice enough. He told me he loves mum and would like to marry her one day." He shrugged. "Violet thinks he's our dad already. I dunno. I told him that I'd be okay with him marrying mum. I mean, she's happy with him and stuff. I just wished that they would stop with all the kisses. It's gross." Draco agreed.
"Did I ever tell you that I met the girl that I am going to marry someday. Her name is Luna Lovegood. She told me we were going to marry when we are older. Met her a couple months ago and she visits the Weasley's whenever I am over. Violet and Ginny are best friends with her." He chuckled when Draco looked at him aghast.
"Yuck! I don't think I'll ever want to marry!" They both laughed as the sleigh came to a stop to let them out. Violet, Ginny, and Draco's sister Carina got on together. "Rina, be sure to stay close to Vi and Ginny, okay." She nodded in understanding and settled herself between the to other girls. Draco was extremely protective of his baby sister. It had taken his mum a long time to get pregnant with her, and she was on bed rest for the entirety of her pregnancy.
"Come on, D! Let's go raid the dessert table! I'm sure that's where Ron is!" They scurried off in search of their friend, laughing the whole way.
She felt his presence before his arms wrapped around her. A small smirk made it's way to her face. "I feel like I was waiting forever to hold you again. How long do we have?" His gruff voice sent shivers down her spine.
"Not sure. He's taken Neville to the sleigh rides." Alice turned around and was immediately kissed passionately in the hidden alcove of the Malfoy library. "Gods," she moaned as his tongue licked down her neck.
"How much longer do I have to wait, Alice?" He said before lifting her to impale himself into her sex. "You said you'd tell him last month." She moaned as he hit a particularly sensitive spot. "I want you to be mine. It's been two years. I cannot keep parading around with these false conquests. Lily keeps asking when I will finally settle down."
She knew he had been patient, but how in the hell does she tell her husband that she has fallen in love with another. One of their best friends at that. What will Neville think of his mummy? "Please, my love. I want to have a child with you, marry you. I have been in love you for years. I have been very patient, Alice, my beautiful sweet girl." Another kiss as he continued to make love to her against the bookshelves in the darkest part of the Malfoy Manor's library.
"Tomorrow is Christmas. I'll do it on Boxing Day love. I swear it. Oh god, Sirius! I love you!" He spilled his seed into her, not caring for the use of contraceptive charms anymore. Alice kissed him once more as he softened inside of her.
"Don't you dare get rid of that. I want you to feel it. Be reminded that you are mine." Surius kissed her one more time before making himself presentable and leaving her in the library. He smirked as he saw Frank looking for his wife. 'Not long now. She'll be mine soon. Only mine."
Christmas morning came at last. Violet Potter had wanted only one thing for Christmas. As she came down the stairs and entered the kitchen, she smiled brightly. "Morning mummy. Morning Sev." Her mother and boyfriend were making breakfast together. The smiles and the love radiating off of them had Violet feeling like she felt completely happy for the first Christmas of her almost 5 years.
"Good morning sweetheart. Ready for brekkie?" Lily asked as she set a plate down of hot cakes. "Rashers are almost ready. Harry up?" Just as she asked, the messy haired boy appeared. He'd be seven in a few months. He had started at the Wiltshire School for the Gifted in the fall. In four more years, he'd leave for Hogwarts. It would be strange having only one child at home.
"Morning. Happy Christmas everyone." Severus mussed his hair as he passed Harry then set down the Rashers and summoned a pitcher of OJ. "Mum, after presents, can I Floo-call D then Ron?" Lily had told him after he washed up then they would call on the Malfoy's. They were having Christmas dinner with the Weasley's, so he could catch up with Ron then.
After all of their gifts were unwrapped, Harry looked a bit disappointed. There was no racing broom. Lily smiled at Severus and then nodded. "Hey, Harry? Before you get washed up, could you help me with something real quick?" He looked up to see Severus standing near the patio doors.
"Sure." Harry got up and hugged his mum. "Thanks for everything, mum." She patted his cheek then watched with eager eyes as Severus led Harry out into the garden. She heard a yell of excitement and started to giggle. Violet shot up out of her seat and ran to see what was going on.
Harry was flying in the backyard on his brand new Comet 260. Lily was a bit sceptical about allowing him to buy Harry one, but Severus insisted. Harry landed and dismounted after about 20 minutes. "Thank you so much mum!" He said as he hugged her tightly.
"Oh no, this one was all Sev!" She laughed as her son launched himself in Severus's arms.
"Thank you! I really - I mean, I can't believe it! Wait til I tell D!" With another hug and a huge grin, Harry disappeared up the stairs to wash and then call Draco.
Lily walked up to Severus and wrapped her hands around his neck. "Thank you." She kissed him slowly. "I have one more present for you, but we'll have to wait until the kids are fast," she kissed him again, "asleep." She smirked at the blush she saw on his face. Two months of being intimate and she could still make him blush.
"I think he's finally warming up to me, Lils. I love you guys. I'll prove to you that I will make a good husband and father one day." Lily hugged him closer.
"You don't have to prove anything, love, I already know it."
The Burrow was crazy! Bill and Charlie were home for the holidays so it was even fuller than usual. Severus Snape looked around at all of the craziness and smiled. This time last year, he was all alone in his cell in Azkaban with only Lily's latest letter to warm him. Today, she was curled up next to him on the Weasley's overstuffed couch with laughter surrounding him.
Violet flopped onto his lap. "I'm sleepy." She turned and laid her head on his shoulder as he patted her. Within moments, she was snoring softly in his ear. Lily kissed his cheek then motioned for him to follow her. "We'll lay her down upstairs. Molly won't mind." She whispered as they got to the stairs.
She opened the first bedroom and helped him lay Violet down. They spoke in hushed voices. "Too much excitement today." Lily stared into his dark eyes. She got a sudden vision of them lying their own child down. "I love you." He smiled softly at her then captured her lips in a kiss.
"And I you." He took her hand and pulled her out of the bedroom they were in and back down the stairs. "Let's get some of those mini mincemeat pies Molly made." She squeezed his hand in hers then found their way to the food.
"It was wicked! I had no clue! Sev had it in the garden waiting for me! A brand new Comet 260!" Harry was excitedly retelling the same stairs he'd told Draco earlier, but to the Weasley children this time.
"Oh man, I wish we had better brooms. Our Cleansweeps are worn out." Fred lamented as his brothers all nodded in agreement. Harry felt bad for boasting but he couldn't help it. He was going to be seven soon and only four and a half years away from Hogwarts. He wanted to play Quidditch like his father before him.
"Hey Percy? You gonna play Quidditch when you get to Hogwarts next September? If not, maybe mum and dad can get us new brooms next year." Charlie nudged at their swotty younger brother.
"I'm going to be more focused on my education, thank you very much." He said in his uppity way, sounds of superiority heavily laced in his tone.
"Rad!" Charlie and Bill high-fived as the rest of their siblings laughed at their antics.
"Dinner, kids!" Arthur yelled into the wreck room where they were all hanging out.
"Thank Merlin! I'm starved!" Ron announced.
"You just ate your weight in pies and biscuits you numpty!" George chided his little brother before they raced into the dining room.
"Kids asleep?" Severus asked looking up from his book as Lily came into the bedroom, closing the door behind her. She smirked then nodded, quickly throwing up a locking and silencing spell on their bedroom door. He arched an eyebrow at her and she began to undress.
"Strip!" She demanded. He chuckled but quickly did as she asked. "Lay down on the bed. Hands above your head." He complied immediately. "Good boy." He could feel himself becoming rock hard at her praise. She whispered a sticking charm to his hands so they couldn't move.
Slowly she crawled up the bed before making it to where his weeping cock stood waiting for attention. She licked the precum then slowly took him into her mouth. He moaned as she sucked him; swirling her tongue and moaning as she went deeper, the vibrations her moans caused had Severus cursing. "Oh fuck, Lily! Fuck! Yes, just like that. I want to touch you. Please love." She silently released the locking charm from his hands.
He stroked his fingers through her hair. "Mmmm," she moaned again.
"I'm gonna cum if you don't stop." He warned. She came up with a pop and crawled up to straddle his waist. He pulled her down and kissed her roughly before rolling her to her back. "My turn." He said with a smirk before disappearing between her thighs.
They lay in bed, basking in the afterglow. Lily had her head laying on his chest, listening to his heart beat slowing as they calmed down after a rigorous love making session. "I want to thank you for today. Last Christmas, well, the only think that kept me from going insane from the loneliness was your letters. Now, I have you in my arms. I have Harry and Violet's smiles and laughter. I love you all. I want to build a life with you. Marriage. Children." She leaned up to search his eyes. "If you'll have me." She smiled and kissed him.
"Soon. Soon we'll have that. Let's just enjoy each other a little longer."
"Where's Neville?" Frank asked his wife as he came into the kitchen where she had just brewed some tea.
"I sent him to Lily's. Um, we need to talk." She looked up then quickly averted her eyes, taking a sip of tea.
"Okay," he took a sip of the tea she had pushed towards him instantly calming. 'A calming potion?' He wondered to himself.
"I want a divorce." She stated plainly. "I love you, Frank, but I'm just not in love with you."
"It's Black, isn't it?" Alice looked shocked. How could he know? "Come on, Alice. We've been together for ten years. I know your scent. I could smell it on him at the Malfoy's party. So, what? You fucked him a few times and fancy yourself in love with that smug bastard?"
"Two years."
"Excuse me?" Frank looked at her aghast.
"I've been, we've been together two years. Not just fucking as you so eloquently put it. He loves me. He's been waiting for two years for me to finally get the courage to tell you. I haven't been happy in years, Frank, and you never even noticed, did you?" She watched as he realised he really did not notice.
"I'll pack a bag and stay with my mother." He stated as he stood up to leave. "I really want to hate you, but I know I never could. Neville deserves two parents that can get along. Tell my son I love him and will see him soon." He stopped quickly and added, "I hope he breaks your heart."
Alice felt herself breathing heavily. She'd done it. She rushed out of the house and apparated to Grimmauld Place. As soon as he heard the pop of apparition, Sirius came running. "You okay?" He asked as she fell into his arms.
"I did it. I told him. He's packing his belongings now." Sirius sighed in relief. Alice looked up and his eyes sparkled. "I love you." Sirius smiled then picked her up bridal style and apparated them to his bedroom.
After, they lay there. "You know, we do that a few more times, we may make that dream of a child of our own come true." Sirius half joked, half wished as he pecked her lips.
"I've gotta go. I had Lily watch Neville while I ended things with his father. Oh gods." She hid her face in her hands and groaned. "Now I have to explain it to him!"
A/N: soooooooo SURPRISE! I was going to drag the Sirius/Alice affair another chapter but once I got going I couldn't help but reveal him to be the mystery man!
