Jaune couldn't believe what was right in front of his eyes, neither could Oden as both men were absolutely silent as neither could utter a word as what they saw in front of them defied any logic the two men knew up till now!
Whitebeard and Gold Roger, two of the most powerful pirates in the world were currently clashing with one another with their respective weapons Ace and Murakumogiri! But neither weapon was touching but that didn't stop the massive amount of tremors and shock waves that were coming from both men as their blades were inching closer and closer towards one another!
'This is insane! Neither of their weapons are touching one another but it looks like there's an orb of energy stopping them from clashing! And what is it with all the white energy and red lightning spewing from them! If my sword wasn't stabbed to the ground I would be flying right now!' thought Jaune as he was struggling to keep his balance as he felt at any moment the ground beneath him would give way and send him flying towards the ocean!
At least he knew how to swim and he has not eaten a devil fruit so he was safe...he hoped...?
Meanwhile many members of both the Roger pirates and Whitebeard please were struggling to stay in one place as many of the lower level members of both groups were blown into the air! Soon both captains of their respective groups pulled back their weapons and started glaring at one another.
"Phew..."said a relieved Jaune as he felt another second or more he would have been thrown into the ocean!
As Jaune was letting out aside relief it appeared that both pirate captains were smiling almost as if they were happy to see each other. Whitebeard had a big smile on his face with his glare as he slammed Murakumogiri Instagram creating a mini shockwave.
"You look great, Roger!"said Whitebeard as he was glad to see one of the few men in the world who can actually give him a good fight!
"How long has it been, Newgate?!"asked Roger as he stabed Ace into the ground.
Soon within moments both pirate groups started to rally behind their captains as they began laughing. All had their weapons at the ready with Marco activating his devil fruit powers while Vista pulled out his swords for battle! Rakuyo meanwhile prepared his mace and chains as Whitey Bay pulled out her rapier as Teach attached his claws to his hand.
Meanwhile Roger's side was getting ready for battle as Rayleigh and Gaban had their weapons at the ready with Sambel readying is trident with Shanks and Buggy pulling out blades as well!
Jaune had his katana at the ready as he knew I didn't mean moment both leaders of their groups would call for blood and soon everyone would begin fighting! He could already see Oden getting excited as it was clear that his warrior blood was boiling.
'These guys are tough but I haven't been training for the last couple of years, traveling with these group of pirates for nothing! I am a lot stronger than I was before and I'll continue to grow in strength... if I survive that is...' thought Jaune as he could tell that the Roger Pirates were strong and that underestimating any of them would be a fool's errand.
Soon Jaune's suspicion came to pass as both pirate captains stopped laughing and looked at one another!
"Whatever you got, hand it over!"said both pirate captains at the same time as they intended to robb one another of anything there are groups had a value like treasure and food!
"Get them!"ordered Marco as he was the first to charge as the Whitebeard Pirates started charging towards the Roger Pirates!
"Rob them!" ordered Gaban as the Roger Pirates started charging as well!
Vista battled Sambel as Jozu tried to attack Nozudon, but the giant of a man easily intercepted that diamond infused punch!
Jaune meanwhile was fighting the Roger Pirates doctor Crocus as he barely intercepted one of Crocus's harpoons! Jaune was struggling as it was clear that although this guy was a doctor he was also one heck of a fighter as well!
The fighting continued up until the next day when it began raining but it didn't matter to both sides as they continued fighting! Rayleigh was taking down whitebeard pirate after whitebeard pirate with all the small fry falling easily to his blade!
"Dont push your luck!"said Marco as he tried to kick Rayleigh but he was surprised when the first made of the Roger Pirates stopped his attack with a finger covered in Haki!
"I'm always serious young man. I say that to both of you."said Rayleigh as Jaune's attack was blocked by Rayleigh's sword!
"Dang!"said Jaune as he wanted to help Marco but it was clear they were facing an opponent on another level!
Rakuyo swung his mace towards Shanks as fhe mace in question open its jaws and slammed into the rock behind shanks just as they cabin boy manage to avoid getting hit! Buggy meanwhile was running from several low-level Pirates...
Soon the third day came around and deep into the evening it was clear that both sides were bruised and tired but they didn't stop fighting as Roger and Whitebeard continued smiling at one another as they exchanged blow after blow, slash after slash, Battle of will against Battle of will!
Oden was clashing with Gaban as Oden at one point was pushed back by Gaban at his axes! Rayleigh was still holding strong as Teech appeared bruised but still ready to fight as everyone else look like they were running out of steam but they did not want to give up!
Then on the fourth day for one reason or another both pirate groups decided to stop fighting and instead make trades for what they wanted...?
Soon we're exchanging boxes of dried meat for barrels of alcohol while others were exchanging clothing they had collected from other Islands. It was basically an equal exchange as both groups continue to exchange anything from food to leisure items.
Rayleigh meanwhile looked at everything going on from a nearby giant mushroom with confusion."We were trying to plunder each other, but now it's a gift exchange..."
He then smiled as this is not the first weird thing he has met ever since he met Rodger and decided to join him in his crazy antics.
"Are they apprentices?"Teach asked Marco, who woke up from his nap as he saw Teach pointing towards Shanks and Buggy
"Come to think of it, they were always with us..."said Marco as he noticed the kids not too far from where he was resting.
"They don't look strong.."said Teach wondering why such a strong group of pirates like the Roger Pirates had such young apprentices with them in the first place.
"But they behave like veterans..."said Marco in their defense.
"Hey Shanks!"whispered Buggy as Shanks looked at him.
"What?"
"You see the guy with the hat over there?"said Buggy as his eyes motion towards Teach.
"Yeah"responded Shanks.
"I heard he didn't sleep yesterday or the day before during the ceasefire at night."said buggy as he noticed that Teach just stayed awake the whole time and didn't even appear to go to sleep even once.
"Why? He wanted to show off or something."suggested Shanks.
"No! They say he's never slept even once since he was born!"said Buggy surprising Shang says he couldn't believe such a person existed.
"Is that really true?! That's great... I wonder if he enjoys life twice as much as us?"wondered Shanks as Jaune overheard their conversation as some sweat fell down from his brow.
"Those rumors are true as there is definitely something up with Teach and his body. Don't get me wrong he gets tired and he rests like the rest of us but I've never once seen him sleeping. Every night I just see him lying around in his hammock with his eyes open either deep in thought or straight out relaxing. Guy doesn't need to sleep but he still likes to be lazy most of the time... just what is up with his body?' thought Jaune as he found it unusual that Teach didn't need to sleep even though he does get tired.
Teach meanwhile overheard the conversation Shanks and Buggy were having didn't appear please buy it. As for Oden, Roger, and Whitebeard, currently all of them were looking at some Poneglyphs with Oden being the only person able to read them.
"Hey Oden! Can you really read it?!"asked Roger as Oden look like he was able to read it and Roger wanted to confirm his suspicions.
"Yes I can. I can read it, but why do you have this writing?"asked Oden as he wondered why Roger had this writing in the first place.
"Knowledge of the script has been passed down from father to only son per generation in the Kozuki clan."said Oden as the Kozuki clan with wrote the Poneglyphs in the first place in the were the only ones who knew the technique necessary in order to carve them into the indestructible stone most of them were written in.
Roger took a sip of alcohol before responding."It's already been thirteen years...we finally made it to the lodestar Island, the last Island that the Log Pose points to, which no man has ever set foot upon. But we noticed when we cheerfully disembarked... that in fact wasn't the last Island. The needles of the Log Pose just kept spinning and didn't point to anywhere! I am convinced that there is one more Island! When I make it there, I'll be the first person ever to travel all around the world! And the location of that Island is detailed in the writing of four of these red stones! But the world government has always forbidden anyone from deciphering them! They are called Poneglyphs! I thought they were just cultural artifacts, but they were actually an important map for us, which indicates the location of the last Island!"said Roger as both Oden and Whitebeard couldn't believe their ears!
"Fhe government is telling us not to go to the last Island, which could hold a vast amount of treasure! That makes it even more tantalizing! if we can get there we'll be in both name and deed... the world's greatest pirate group!"said Roger as he held his hands high in the air.
Jaune meanwhile nearly drop the drink he was drinking when he overheard Roger's explanation. He honestly couldn't believe what he was hearing, but then again nothing of this world made sense to him as common Sense did not exist in this ocean and neither did the laws of physics! Jaune couldn't help but smiling at the news as he wondered what was on that final Island that made it so hard to get to! What treasures did it hold and why was it so difficult to find?
"I can already guess what he's going to do next."said Jaune as he knew that if Roger wanted to find his final Island he would need someone who could read and decipher the Poneglyphs.
And that person was Kozuki Oden!
"The world's greatest!"said Oden as he and Whitebeard were shocked from what they just heard.
"You must be surprised Newgate!"said Roger as he stood up before telling both Oden and Whitebeard his plans in order to acquire the information he needed in order to reach the final Island!
Both men were utterly shocked by what they heard and were absolutely speechless. Roger smiled before he began laughing as Oden looked at him with utter confusion.
'I could not move. I was amazed for the second time today. What is up with this guy?!' thought Oden as Roger was even crazier than him.
Whitebeard just began laughing as he responded."What are you talking about Roger? That's a child fantasy!"
Then both of them began laughing before Roger stop laughing and looked at Newgate with a serious look.
"I'm serious Newgate!"said Roger with a smile as Whitebeard looked at him with shock.
"Just for a year will do. Let me borrow Oden! This is a once in a lifetime request! With him I'm sure I can get to the last Island!"said Roger as he pointed towards a shocked Oden.
"Hey don't be selfish!"said Oden with shock.
Jaune meanwhile from his hiding place looked at his lord that was basically saying that he was not one to speak as he was the most selfish person he knew...
Roger meanwhile got on his hands and knees"Please Newgate! I'm begging you!"
"Hey stop Captain Roger! He's our enemy!"said Gaban as he did not like his Captain bowing to another pirate Captain.
"Stop! That's pathetic! Don't bow your head!"said Oden as everyone was watching.
'You did the exact same thing so you really have no right lord Oden...' thought Jaune as Roger and Oden were actually quite similar to the point he was surprised that Oden didn't notice the similarities.
'Then again my Daimyo has always been a thick-headed one.' he thought as he continued listening in.
"Please Oden! Accompany us on our journey just for a year!"said Roger as Whitebeard was so annoyed by the request that he broke the bottle in his hand before using his devil fruit powers.
"Screw you!"said Newgate as the tremor tremor fruit release massive amounts of shock waves all across the island and beyond to the ocean blue!
"Roger! Are you trying to take my family member away from me?!"said Whitebeard with fury and anger.
'I can help feeling excited! Why can the Kozuki clan read the script? Did I meet him now for a reason?' thought Oden before the next words just popped out of his mouth.
"Whitebeard! I wanna go! Please allow me to go! I want to see the last Island that he talked about!"
'He's annoyed!' thought Jaune as Whitebeard had his familiar annoyed expression on his face as it was clear he was once again annoyed by Oden and his selfishness
"He's annoyed."said Oden coincidentally at the same time.
"Of course I am! You and I are like brothers!"
"It's just for a year Whitebeard!"said Oden in his defense.
Whitebeard meanwhile just punch the air with his tremor tremor fruit powers but Oden stood his ground!
"Please!"

Whitebeard eventually did give into the request, although he was still annoyed...
"Take care!"said Marco as Oden and him shook hands like men!
"We will stay here."said Izo as Dogstorm and Cat Viper we're behind him.
"We like this ship."said Izo who has bonded with the Whitebeard Pirates a lot over these last several years.
"We will wait for your return here."said Izo as Dogstorm and Cat Viper nodded of their heads.
"I on the other hand will be going with you."saud Jaune surprising Oden.
"Jaune what do you mean?"asked Oden as Jaune walk towards him.
"I have already discussed it with the Roger Pirates and they agreed I should come with you after I told them about your "recklessness" and they agreed that I should go with you to keep you out of trouble."said Jaune as he remembered all the times he had to save his lord from his recklessness.
"Jaune!"said Oden with embarrassment as he couldn't believe one of his subordinates told Roger and the others about his mishaps.
"You saved my life and gave me a home even though my home is... so far away from here. You took me in when I had nowhere else to go so the least I could do is travel with you to the end."said Jaune as Oden looked at him with a smile.
'I still don't know if his story about being from another world is true but this young man has a good head on his shoulders and it's clear to me he will be a great Samurai in the future. He is loyal and Momonosuke and Hiyori really like him so it's best if he comes along.' thought Oden as Jaune walked over to his side.
Vista meanwhile was eyeing Dogstorm and Cat Viper with suspicion.
"You guys can do as you like, we are pirates after all."said Oden with a smile.
Whitebeard meanwhile was sitting in his throne with an annoyed expression as some of his subordinates were asking if he was going to see Oden off before telling him about the massive amounts of food and treasure the Roger Pirates left behind us thanks.
As soon as the food was mentioned did that get Whitebeard's attention!
"What?! You idiots! Give the food back to them! I won't forgive them if they let Kozuki Oden's family go hungry!"said Newgate as he couldn't believe Roger left behind the food!
He quickly ordered his men to hurry up and give them back the food which they complied to quickly!
A short while later the Roger Pirates disembarked as the Whitebeard Pirates waved their comrade goodbye as Oden said that they would see each other later!
"Take care everyone!"said Oden as the island started disappearing into the distance.
Oden meanwhile knew that this was a second chapter in his journey as well Whitebeard was an amazing man, Roger was also an amazing man and he couldn't wait to see what adventures he would have with him.
Jaune felt the same as like Oden, he develop the deep bond with Whitebeard and his crew and saw Edward Newgate as one of the most respectable individuals he has met in his life. Now he wonders how he'll get along with the Roger Pirates as he continues his journey to grow stronger as although he is much stronger than he was in Wano, he knew he still needed to grow more if he wanted to reach Oden, Roger, and Whitebeard's level one day!

A short time later Roger was playing with Hiyori as she appeared to enjoy being in his arms as Momonosuke was currently being held by Rayleigh.
"We haven't held a baby in a long time."said Roger
"Yeah it brings back memories."agreed Rayleigh.
"Momonosuke and Hiyori m, huh!"said Roger before Hiyori started pulling on his mustache, something of which he didn't seem to mind.
Oden meanwhile was playing peekaboo with his daughter as Shanks and Buggy were sitting on some barrels.
Jaune approach them as Shanks asked him what he wanted.
"How long are you two going to pretend you're not there? You two already pulled this stunt before and I already know you guys are over there so just come out already."said Jaune confusing Shanks and Buggy before they felt the barrels they were sitting on begin to shake!
"What the?"said Buggy.
"Something's in here!"said Shanks as as a familiar yellow Paul broke through the top of the barrel!
This got Roger and Oden's attention.
"Captain Roger! We have a stowaway!"said Shanks as he didn't know what to do.
"Actually we have two stowaways."corrected Jaune as Dogstorm and Cat Viper bursted out of the barrels and jumped onto the main deck.
"Lord Oden!"said both minks as they began to descend towards Oden.
"Dogstorm? Cat Viper? Why are you here?! And Jaune if you knew they were here the whole time why didn't you say anything?!"asked Oden as Jaune just looked away.
"You really shouldn't be so surprised as they did this before."said Jaune as he was the one who actually snuck them on board in the first place.
He saw both of them getting into the barrels and decided to be a good friend he secretly put them on the Oro Jackson when no one was looking.
"Kid why did you do that?"asked Rayleigh as Jaune just looked him straight in the eye.
"You always help out your friends when you can don't you."said Jaune with a smile as the first mate of the Roger Pirates looked at him back with a smile.
"Don't got mad at him lord Oden. We enjoy hanging out with you lord Oden more than anything!"said Cat Viper with a smile on his face.
"Whitebeard must be mad by now!"said Oden as by now Whitebeard has noticed that they disappeared and it doesn't take a genius to realize where they went!
"I know this wasn't the plan but can they stay too?"asked Oden as he didn't want to just abandon them as they only did it with the purest of intentions.
"I think you have the wrong idea."said Gaban as he slammed his fist into a wall as he and the other Roger Pirates approached Oden.
"Oden, Captain is only using you for knowledge. Understand."said Gaban as the Roger Pirates haven't really accepted Oden or his followers as one of them.
Oden just smiled as he knew how to win them over.
One town later and some running with some enemy Pirates later, Oden and the others are back on the ship as he is preparing his favorite dish...oden.
Shanks and Buggy can't stop sniffing at how delicious the food is and soon the Roger Pirates begin eating!
"So what do you think?"asked Oden with a smile.
"So delicious!"scream the Roger Pirates as they enjoyed the oden prepared by Oden
Soon everyone began eating the delicious oden that Oden made in soon the ones hostile Roger Pirates started warming up the Wano samurai as soon they began exchanging shake and having a laugh with one another.
'It's amazing how well good food men's fences and makes former enemies good friends.' thought Jaune as he took a bite of Oden.
"You are certainly the more rational individual of Oden's group."said Roger as he sat next to Jaune.
"Well when you serve under someone as reckless as Oden, at least one person needs a level head."said Jaune with embarrassment.
"Your swordsmanship is good young man but it could still use some work."said Rayleigh as he sat across from Jaune.
"Yeah I know."said Jaune as he knew that compared to some of the others he still had a long way to go.
"Don't worry about a kid as I sense a lot of potential in you. Oden senses the same thing and I'm sure after a couple more years you'll be a powerful warrior in no time."said Roger as he could tell that Jaune had a large amount of Haki running through his body.
"How about for the next year I show you a thing or two about how to properly wield a sword."said Rayleigh as Jaune looked at him with a smile.
"I very much appreciate that."said Jaune as Oden was currently doing a silly dance causing the other Roger Pirates to laugh as they have now accepted Oden and the others as one of them!
They were now officially accepted members of the Roger Pirates!
