"Die, "Crescent Moon" Arc!"said a pirate as he was trying to assassinate Jaune in order to make a name for himself.
Jaune just let out of sigh of irritation, as currently he was trying to stay under the radar while doing some shopping for some necessary items like food and fresh drinking water. So last thing he wanted was another would be pirate trying to assassinate him... again..
He has already been attacked by multiple would be Pirates today, just aiming to boost the reputation and/or collecting on his massive bounty!
Jaune merely side stepped out of the way as the Pirates tried to jab his knife into his chest before karate chopping him in knocking the would be assassin out instantly
"I really prefer the other name Wano, Golden Tiger!"said Jaune who earned his nickname during his time in Wano as the citizens refer to him to having the strength and ferocity of a tiger.
Some said he could even take on a dragon, and in some mythology the tiger was the only rival to the dragon ,hence the name tiger. Whereas the golden part came from his signature blonde hair.
"another would be assassin, man ever since Captain became famous they're like a swarm of locusts."said Shanks as he joined Jaune.
"Let's get out of here before the cops are the authorities arrive. Now that news has spread of what our crew has done it's best to stay under the radar until we can meet up with Captain and the others." said Jaune as the two Pirates left the area of just as a crowd was forming.
"How's Buggy?"asked Jaune as he took a bite out of an apple he was carrying in his grocery bag.
"Still complaining that he should have gone to the final island with everyone else. Although he mostly wants the vast amount of treasure that's surely there." said Shanks who knew his friends greeting nature well by this point is buggy's knew no limit.
"Shanks, not to be rude but what do you see in him?"
"What do you mean?"asked Shanks, wondering what his fellow crew member was talking about.
"Your clearly the better fighter, so why do you hold back every time your guys get into your squabbles."said Jaune as he noticed that Shanks was a lot stronger than Buggy.
"Heh, I'm not surprised that you noticed. The answer is I don't want to hurt my friend's pride. Buggy is a proud person and the last thing I want to do is trample on that pride."said Shanks with a smile.
"Yeah, but sometimes too much pride is a bad thing. It's only because of his chop chop fruit that Buggy is he even still alive. No offense but out of all of us he is the weakest."said Jaune, as Buggy is what you would call the black sheep of the, as he was pathetically weak.
Like Jaune Arc back at Beacon week, and Jaune would know that for a fact.
"I suppose you're right but Buggy just wants to live a life full of luxury and money plus he's a lot of things but he's not stupid. He'll definitely try his best to stay under the radar during his pirate career so he can steal money and do whatever the heck he wants, when he wants."said Shanks who new buddy well enough by now to know that's what Buggy was planning.
"Yeah, he may be weak but he makes up for it with his brain."admitted Jaune, as Buggy always did come with convoluted plans in order to acquire vast amounts of wealth.
"Yeah, and although most of his plans fail, the fact that he never gives up is what makes me want to cheer him on."said Shanks, as his friend always had a plan on how to make a lot of money.
"Yeah..."said Jaune, as he was sure that Buggy's conniving and cowardly nature would allow him to survive to old age, as well as have a long and successful pirate career of making a lot of money.
"So when do you think Captain and the others will come back for us?"asked Shanks.
"I don't know, but it should be soon. I'm honestly tired of all these guys trying to assassinate me, or collect my bounty."said Jaune, as that was the 20th would be assassin these last several days.
"Well you do have a pretty big bounty on your head."said Shanks as Jaune handed him a piece of chocolate.
"Shut up."said Jaune, as Shanks as usual was just messing with him.
"Heheheeh."giggled Shanks as he took a bite of his chocolate.
"I hope lord Oden and the others are having a great time on that final Island."said, Jaune as both members of the Roger Pirates looked at the vast ocean
Both knowing that their crew would come back for them! The only question is when!
Buggy meanwhile was sound asleep like a baby, and it was clear whatever dream he was having brought him great joy based on the smile on his face.
"Hmmm... so much gold everywhere, and it all belongs to me, Buggy ghe clown.."said buggy through his snoring as a bubble appeared from his nose.

[Somewhere in the New World]
A few days later the Oro Jackson was sailing back to the island to collect their crewmates who stayed behind because Buggy got sick. Everyone was busy celebrating well still laughing about their visit to Laugh Tale, chatting among one another while enjoying a good drink of high quality alcohol!
Oden was staring at the back of the ship before he started making his way to the poop deck, where Rayleigh was just by himself, enjoying a bottle of expensive shake, before noticing Oden approaching him.
"Oh, Oden. What did you think of the last Island?"asked Rayleigh, wanting to hear Oden's thoughts on their visit to Laugh Tale.
"I thought it was just great! My body still burns with excitement!"said Oden,as the last Island was so much fun, that his body was still shaking from all the excitement he was experiencing during his time on the island!
"Hahahahaha, I feel the same!"said Roger, as he approached the two of them.
"Oh, Roger."said Oden, happy to see his captain up and around, especially considering that his illness was getting worse!
Roger meanwhile walked over to his first mate, as well as the first person to join his crew, and lean on the nearby balcony next to Rayleigh.
"Rayleigh, you're here..."said Roger with a serious tone in his voice.
"Roger...Do you remember what you said to me when we first met?"asked Rayleigh, wondering if Roger still remember the words he said to him the first day they met!
Oden meanwhile listened in with curiosity, as he wanted to hear their conversation.
"Yeah, I do..."Turn the world upside down" wasn't it."responded Roger, as he could clearly remember that day like it was yesterday.
"You also said "We were destined to meet."added Rayleigh, as he could still remember the day Roger basically forced him to join up with him, even when he said no the first couple of times.
Rayleigh been proceeded to give the bottle he was drinking over to Roger, who happily accepted it and took a swig.
"Is the promise fulfilled?"asked Roger, as he handed the bottle back over to Rayleigh.
"Yeah!"answered his first mate, as he accepted the bottle back and took a swing.
Oden meanwhile watched on, wondering where the two were talking about as it was clear that their mutual understanding was only through their long friendship!
Roger meanwhile just stared off into space as Rayleigh looked at him with a smile on his face, knowing of what was the common having long ago made his peace with it.
Meanwhile on the island, Buggy and Jaune were at a restaurant, eating their food while reading a newspaper about their captain and crew.
Jaune was eating a hamburger while Buggy was eating a piece of chicken. As buggy took a bite of that chicken, he ended up choking as he literally bit off more than he could chew.
"Here, drink this."said Jaune as he handed Buggy a drink so he could wash down the food.
Buggy accepted by grabbing the drink and drinking as much as he could down his throat, forcing the chicken down as he could finally breathe again.
"Phew..."said Buggy, before he went back to eating.
As both of them are finishing their meals, Shanks immediately bursted into the restaurant with news that both of them would want to hear!
"Jaune! Buggy!" Captain's...! Captain Roger's...!"said Shanks as both of his friends understood what he was trying to say.
Jaune and Buggy quickly finished their meal, before leaving money on the table and running out of the restaurant as fast as they could!
All three members of the Roger Pirates ran towards the docks as fast as they could, as Shanks had basically told them that Roger and the others had returned!
Soon Shanks and Buggy tried to make a race out of it, but Jaune put a stop to it as they made their way to the docks!
"They came back!"exclaimed Buggy with joy, as they could see the Oro Jackson approaching the island.
"The finally came back!"said Buggy, who felt like his crewmates had been gone for like an eternity.
"They have only been gone a few days."said Jaune, although he could understand where Buggy was coming from.
"Captain!"said Shanks with joy as he started waving his arms around to get his crew's attention!
"Roger! Oden!"saud Jaune, who was happy that his lord, his captain, and his friends had safely returned from their trip to the final Island on the Grand Line!
Soon the Roger pirates disembarked from the ship and everyone began mingling among one another, talking about their experience over the last several days. Oden was talking to Jaune, before both men noticed that Roger had said something to Shanks.
And that whatever Roger had said the Shanks started to make the young man start to cry as he grabbed onto his Captain's coat and hold it tightly as tears fell down his face, as it was clear whatever Roger told him Shanks did not like one bit!
Soon news about the Roger Pirates having conquered the Grand Line by reaching the final Island was passed around with newspapers all around the world! From the World Government high up in Mary Geoise, to the pirates down below in the seas!
Not long after that the Navy started to act more aggressively than ever, as now they were more passionate than ever to apprehend Roger and his whole crew!
"Wealth, fame, power...The man who obtained everything...King of the Pirates, Gold Roger."said Rayleigh as he was reading the newspaper out loud.
"Hahahaha it's Gol D Roger!"corrected Roger, wondering why the world government purposely misprinted his name.
"But being called the King of the Pirates isn't so bad."said Roger, as his nickname didn't have a bad ring to it, in fact he very much enjoyed it!
"Now I understand why the World Government wants to cover up your name like that."said Rayleigh, as he understood what was going on.
"The Wi of D..."said Jaune, as for some reason the world government always got their panties in a twist whenever someone with a D and their name made a name for themselves as a pirate or outlaw!
Why that was, he had no idea!
Oden didn't understand that as well, all he knew is that pirates and navy are like were after Roger. With many after his great treasure that is known only as the One Piece!
"They don't know anything!"said Roger, who didn't care what the World Government thought of him as he began laughing again.
"But because of your fame, everyone's coming to get you, Roger!"said Rayleigh, as now everyone wanted a piece of the Pirate King!
Sure enough all across the world Pirates and the Navy alike were getting ready to take on Roger and his crew! Many of the Pirates wanted his treasure, and/or get his legendary treasure, the One Piece! The Navy wasn't slacking off either as they were trying harder than ever to go after Roger.
Garp, one of only two Navy officers that Roger actually considers a threat was personally spear heading the hunt for Roger, as the world government knew that Garp and Sengoku were the only ones who could take Roger on in a fight! Meanwhile "Golden Lion" Shiki had other ideas on how to deal with Roger!
Meanwhile the sun was setting not far from where the Oro Jackson was currently located in the New World. Roger was sitting in front of his whole crew as he had a big announcement to make. Now everyone knew what he was about to say, they just wanted to mentally prepare themselves for when he says it!
"Looking back, it has all been miraculous. With such a limited life expectancy, I can't believe I made it this far. I have nothing but gratitude for you guys."said Roger, who knew he wouldn't have gotten to where he was without his amazing crew by his side!
"Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Why are you speaking formally like that?! Damn you, Captain!"said Gaban, who felt like he was going to blush from all his Captain's nice words.
"Don't make be blush, you fool!"said Sunbell, as he felt like all these nice words from his captain was going to make him blush.
"Fool"added Moon Isaac Jr.
Soon everyone began calling the captain a fool, as they were clearly embarrassed by how touching his nice words were, and they were just trying their best not to blush! Roger responded to this by standing up, making everyone get quiet.
Roger was quite for a moment before he began to speak.
"Then I'll just say it."said Roger, as it was clear to him his crew did not want to hear what he had to say.
"Come on! I'm ready!"said Gaban as he mentally prepared himself for what his Captain was about to say.
Soon everyone else in the Roger Pirates started to follow suit by standing at attention, trying their best to have serious looks on their faces as they knew what they were about to hear next was going to make them all feel extreme sadness.
"Heh...The Roger Pirates are disbanded!"declared Roger as the sun set behind him, making him appear mighty and majestic as he said those words!
Soon every member of the Roger Pirates began crying upon hearing those words, they knew their Captain was going to save them, they just didn't want to hear them! Jaune was crying along with the others as he had grown close with many members of the crew.
Roger, Rayleigh, Sunbell, Spencer, Donquino, Taro, Sunbell, and Nozdon are all he had especially grown close to. He knew that this journey with Roger couldn't continue forever, he was just so sad that it ended so soon!
Shanks meanwhile look like he was the most upset as Roger approached him and patted him on the head, no words spoken among them as Roger assured him that everything was going to be all right!
Oden meanwhile was trying his best to pretend that he wasn't crying.
Not long after Roger's announcement to disband the Roger Pirates, the Oro Jackson once again went underwater so they would leave the New World and head back to Paradise.
Roger and Oden once again covered their ears as they were hearing the Sea Kings talking about how their ruler would be born, but also that someone else would be born as well!
"Who's are you?! How can you talk so deep under the sea?!"asked Roger, but he got no response from the Sea Kings.
Later Roger began to recall his conversation with Sharley about when the mermaid princess will be born, and he came with another conclusion as he really thought about it.
"That voice"said Roger, getting his crew's attention.
"Crew?!"inquired Oden.
"I guess it's telling the truth. Someone will be born. And that person was a pass us..."said Roger, surprising his crew mates.
But that shock of surprise quickly turned a smiles, as they wondered who in the distant future would surpass them!
"We came too early..."said Roger, who felt like his era came too soon before the real "fun"came into fruition.
"The One Piece, huh? I wonder who will find it."wondered Rayleigh, as he wondered who in the future would surpass them!
"Heh, I think that will be my son."said Roger with a confident, cocky grin on his face as he was stroking his chin.
"You don't have one."scolded Rayleigh..
'My guess is that he has a lover at least, based on the way he's so confident that he'll have a son before his time... I remember him talking about some woman one time when he was really drunk...Rouge, I think that was her name but I can't be sure.' thought Jaune who was Cheryl only one thing, Roger already had a lover if he was so confident he would have a son before his time was up!
"I'm going to have one in the future!"declared Roger before everyone began laughing.
'Yeah, he definitely has a lover.' thought Jaune as the lights were turned on in the late deck and everyone began celebrating.
It was there last night before their Captain would leave the ship for the last time after all, and that they would probably never see him again!
"All right, let's drink!"said Roger as everyone began to agree with him as they held out their drinks for a toast.
"Sail towards somewhere where there's no Navy, I'll disembark first!"declared Roger as he was making the final toast, before the Roger Pirates would officially disband!
"Yeah!"agreed his crew as they took a sip of their drinks and began to celebrate!
"Guys! Take Oden and Jaune home next!"ordered Roger, as Oden did have a family waiting for him back in the Land of Wano!
"Yeah!"
"Of course!"
"Oh yeah, Oden. I'm thinking about meeting Whitebeard before I die. Do you want Izo to return to the Land of Wano, too?"asked Roger, as he wondered if Oden would want his retainer to come back with him.
"No...he meshed with the crew of the ship. Tell him to take care of Whitebeard."said Oden, who wanted someone he trusted to stay by his friend's side!
"Now all we have to do is explain everything Kiku as soon as we get home."said Jaune, as Kiku would be the first person they had to explain abkut Izo, since he was her big brother after all.
"Okay, I got it."said Roger, deciding to respect his friend's wishes
"Oh, you're such a worry wart, Jaune, drink up!"said Oden as Jaune smile before taking a swig of his shake!

A sure well later the Oro Jackson docked on an island with no affiliation with the World Government. Everyone was crying as Roger was saying his goodbye to everyone, even the tough first mate Dark King Rayleigh was no exception as he appeared to have been crying the hardest.
"I'm not going to die, partner."said Roger as he took one last swig of his favorite booze before placing the bottle down and walking away from his best friend.
Crocus had handed him some medicine to help Roger out during the final stages of his illness, which was sure to take him over the next following months!
'I'm pretty sure his lover lives on this island... I hope she makes him a happy man until the very end.' thought Jaune as tears fell down his face.
Everyone wave goodbye to their Captain as Roger disembark from the Oro Jackson, but not before turning around one last time and waving his crew goodbye.
Oden meanwhile was crying along with everyone else, but he later wrote in his journal that he wasn't crying, and neither was anyone else..

A few days later, the Roger Pirates arrived back at the Sea of Wano, and just like last time it was quite hospitable as they could clearly see that the ocean and whirlpools was as harsh as ever! As several wrecked ships were clear signs of that!
"It's still astonishing! Wrecked ships that couldn't enter the country..."said Taro, as he was observing the harsh seas through a telescope.
"Yeah...If you catch a wrong current, the ship will be destroyed without getting near the Land of Wano."said Oden, who knew this better than anyone as this ocean was the one that prevented him from leaving the country for many years during his youth.
"In the past, this isolation policy had a point. But we must open it up before "Joyboy"comes one day!"said Oden as Jaune wondered what he was talking about.
'Must have something to do with what they learned on Laugh Tale.' thought Jaune, who made a mental note to ask Oden about it some other day.
"Yeah!"said the Roger Pirates as they begin to sail the Oro Jackson into the Sea of Wano!
A short while later the ship managed to dock on the beaches of Kuri, and both Jaune and Oden disembarked from the ship with Rayleigh.
"Thank you for everything."said Oden as he and Rayleigh shook hands.
"Sure."said Rayleigh as he turned his attention to Jaune.
"Keep practicing your way of the sword Jaune. Your Arc style impress me, and I'm sure with enough time and training you'll be just as strong Oden one day."
"Thanks Rayleigh, and thanks for everything."said Jaune as the two of them shook hands before Rayleigh got on a lifeboat and headed back to the Oro Jackson.
Jaune and Oden meanwhile turned around as they began walking back into Kuri, before Shanks and Buggy got their attention.
"Oden! Jaune!"yelled Shanks, getting both samurai's attention.
"Those bastards! They're flashfully walking away!"said Buggy through gritted teeth.
"Be well guys!"said Oden as he waved them goodbye.
"Shanks, Buggy! I expect both of you to be great Pirates one day!"said Jaune, who expected a lot from both cabin boys, especially Shanks!
Both Shanks and Buggy begin crying at their kind words as every other member of the Roger Pirates began crying as well, that's two more of their friends disembarked for home!
A short later, Jaune and Oden were almost back in Kuri, before some welcome guests decided to welcome them back.
"Oohhh!"said Oden as he tossed the bag holding his things away, upon seeing that his family was running towards him!
"Oden! I missed you!"said Toki with joy as she ran towards her husband, and immediately jumped into his strong arms with her little daughter, as she was so happy to see him again!
"You guys!"said Oden, who was happy to see his wife and daughter were happy and healthy!
"Go Hiyori!"said Toki as Hiyori waddled over to her father and hugged his leg.
"Hehe, that's adorable."said Jaune as he stroked his beard.
"Toki!"said Oden in a silly voice as he was hugging his wife tightly.
"Momonosuke! Hiyori!"said Oden, as he was so happy that his children were alive and well as well!
"I missed you all, too!"said Oden, who felt like he was the happiest man alive upon seeing his beloved family again.
"Hehe, what a doting father and husband."said Jaune, as it was clear Oden loved his family very much.
"There, Hiyori! Up you go!"said Oden as he was playing upsie daisy with his daughter.
"Huh?! What are those?"asked Oden, as he noticed what look like factories in the distance.
"Smoke, factories?!"asked Jaune, as his gut was getting a bad feeling about all of this.
"Father! Jaune!"said Momonosuke, getting his father and retainer's attention.
"What did you just say?"Oden asked his son.
"Yes, I called you father!"said Momonosuke, who was speaking in complete sentences.
Oden was so happy as he gave his daughter back to his wife as he picked up Momonosuke, and held him as high as he could in the air as he was so proud and how big his son had become in the year he had been gone!
"I'm impressed! Oh, you've grown so much, Momonosuke!"said Oden with excitement, as his son was growing big and strong.
"Yes, I hope all is well with you, too!"said Momonosuke, happy to see his father again after so long.
"How polite."said Oden as tears of joy start to fall from his face.
"Hah, I'm so happy I could cry."said Jaune as he wiped some tears out of his mustache as he noticed Kin'emon and the others approaching them.
"Welcome back."said Kin'emon, getting Oden's attention.
"Welcome back Jaune, I'm glad you're alive and well. And Welcome back you bastard."said Kin'emon, referring to Oden.
"How could you be so impolite?!"asked Oden, as he couldn't believe his subordinate was talking to him like that!
"You think you deserve politeness?! Jaune just followed you to make sure you were safe and, which is his duty. What is your excuse?!"asked Kin'emon, to which Oden couldn't reply, as he knew that his subordinate was right.
A few minutes later the group started making their way back Oden Castle, as the citizens of Kuri happily greeted there Daimyo, happy to see that he was alive and well.
"Look how popular I am! I was neglecting the country for so long, I thought I'd be criticized more..."said Oden, who was expecting hateful looks and even a few people trying to spit in his face, not people happy that he had come back...?
"Thank your wife, Lady Toki."responded Kin'emon.
"She is a very wonderful person...When she recovered from her illness, she went down to the town and help citizens everyday."added Kanjuro, as Lady Toki was the reason the citizens didn't hate Oden for straight out abandoning them.
"She has never acted arrogantly as a Daimyo's wife. She labored with everyone and cheerfully shared the stories of your adventure. Lady Toki and your children are extremely popular in Kuri now."added Kawamatsu, as Oden's reputation before his wife came to Kuri was bad to say the least.
"And they keep saying nice things about you."added Raizo, surprising Oden.
"At some point, everyone stop speaking ill of your selfish behavior."said Dogstorm, as that's what he heard in the year he has been back in Wano.
"Wow, I'm surprised my reputation isn't in the gutter."said Jaune as lord Oden was one thing, but he was another.
"Jaune, you were simply following our selfish Lord and making sure he was all right. You did nothing wrong and that's why your reputation is intact."said Kin'emon as Jaune was not like Oden, so his reputation stayed intact.
"Wow Jaune, you've clearly gotten stronger since you've been away."said Kawamatsu, noticing the muscle on Jaune.
"Your muscles are big."said Kiku, as you could tell that Jaune was a lot physically stronger than before.
"The harsh ocean must have really made you strong."said Kanjuro, who could sense that Jaune was stronger than he was all those years ago.
"I'm sense that you're blade is a lot stronger."said Raizo, who could tell Jaune had become a better swordsman during his time accompanying Oden on his adventures.
"I'm really lucky to have a family like you guys, thank you."said Oden, as his attention was pointed as his family.
"Don't mention it! We really love you, right kids!"said Toki, to which Momonosuke and Hiyori happily agreed.
"I'm jealous, I want to be loved, too."said Raizo, who wanted a beautiful wife as well.

A short while later the group was making their way back Oden Castle.
"Kiku, I must tell you about Izo."said Oden, who figured it was better to tell Kiku on the status of her brother.
"Dog and cat told me! I'm fine as long as he's doing well."said Kiku, who was satisfied as long as her brother was happy.
"He's more than doing well, he got a whole lot stronger during his time out at sea!"said Jaune, as Izo's marksmanship and use a firearms had gotten better tremendously during their years on Whitehead's ship, and they were only going to improve with time!
"I'm so happy "said Kiku, and she loved hearing how about how strong her brother had become.
"By the way, what happened to Denjiro and Ashura?"asked Oden, as he didn't see them.
"Yeah, now did you mention it they're not here?"added Jaune, who didn't notice his friends anywhere.
"I didn't see them a year ago, either..."said Oden, now that he thought about it.
"Ashura became the boss of the Yakuza and mountain bandits in Kuri, to keep them under control. Denjiro is wondering about, borrowing money and paying it back."responded Cat Viper as he began licking his paw.
"Neither wrangling bandits or borrowing money sound like comfortable lives."said Oden as the group made their way into Oden Castle.
Soon they made their way to the meeting room to have a discussion.
"There is another reason that everyone is happy about your return. I will tell you the story from the beginning."said Kin'emon, as Jaune and Oden prepared themselves to listen to what Kin'emon was about to say very carefully.
"After you left, we managed to run the Daimyo less Kuri with the citizens cooperation."
"Oh, that must have been hard."said Oden, as besides Jaune and Denjiro, none of them had the leadership or money managing skills to run a domai, much less one the size of Kuri.
"Anyway, how is my father doing?"asked Oden, which is retainers grew quiet.
"The Shogun..."began Kin'emon, before Oden interrupted him.
"I see!...So he wasn't well..."said Oden as it didn't take a genius to find out what happened to his father.
Shogun Sukiyaki was dead, it has been for quite some time!
"What a shame I couldn't be with him when he died."said Oden, who wished he was with his father at his deathbed to see him off into the next life.
"The problem is the Shogun's successor! It it's hard to understand, but at your father lord Sukiyaki's request, the Orochi became..."said Kin'emon as Oden recognize the name, he was on of Yasu's retainers.
"That creep."said Jaune, remembering Orochi from the time he tried to listen in on a conversation between Oden and his father, before he chased him away.
As he listened in closely, Oden and Jaune found out that Orochi was a member of the Kurozumi family!
The family was infamous as the last head committed a mass of a campaign of assassinations in order to become the next Shogun of Wano! But his plans ended up failing when Sukiyaki was born, forcing the man to commit seppuku!
From then on the family was treated like a plague that had to be exterminated at all costs! Soon vigilante groups started assassinating any member of the family, not matter if they were part of the plot or not!

Oden was just growing more and more angry the more he was hearing!
