Chapter 1,007: Operations underway, oh and playtime!

(July 13, the Royal Fortress.)

Here we are, and we see the forces are setting up everything they have in their arsenal to begin the big counter invasion, against the world of Amphibia, and the Royal Defenders are being briefed about the major plan, that Marcy Wu has made.

The whole team is here, and along with Michelle since she wants to be included as well. Martin then shows them the footage of the robots that invaded the other day. "Alright, so these robots frogs seem a whole lot different from what we have encountered when we first came there and rescued Marcy, some seem a little advanced and powerful, especially the invisible one Marcy told us."

Marcy nods and then she explains. "The cameras around the town didn't see it, but I did and so did Scorcher. It had the same face and head as any of those robots and Frobo who is possibly still with the Plantars. That thing, had long stretchy arms, and legs and seemed a little buff, and had sharp syringe like claws, and scratched me, but I think it was aiming for my neck, and I don't like what it wanted."

"It did flee when it scratched me, and then it headed back to wherever it went off to, so chances it may have retreated back to the portal before we even knew where the invasion points were. But, why didn't it take me? I mean, I recall that they are after me and yet it fought me and tried to take me away and then took off without me hauled off."

Linka then speaks. "The sole reason for it to flee, was perhaps you were riding a giant fire-breathing monster? Clearly, it knew it had no chance to survive from that one."

Jordan speaks. "But for it to fall back, and not claim you is something else. Why did it just run off after scratching you with the syringe like claws?" she then realizes. "Unless..."

Martin sighs. "Her DNA, that's what it was after. Since knowing it had no chance to get Marcy, so that robot thing as you said, chose to flee and take off with what it needed, and that would be the DNA sample from your blood. But for what purpose."

Gyro then gets up. "That one we can deal with in another way, right now we need to discuss about the plan, well Marcy's plan. The fate of Amphibia and other worlds is at stakes here, and I managed to seal off whatever energy was used, and shut down the music boxes portal effects through the Infinite Corridor, for now. But it is only a matter of time before they override and find some way to breach through."

"That music box is now active and functional and they have made an army, and have rallied their forces to begin invasions, but only this world was struck and not the others, the reasons is because of Marcy and I don't understand why come for her, she doesn't have the energy from the music box, Anne Boonchuy has the energy from one of the crystals. So, Marcy Wu what is the plan you have?"

Marcy then informs then. "Alright, so the operation is to be there when the battle begins, the clash between the Resistance led by Anne and Sasha, against the forces of King Andrias and whatever else is with him, we come in with the armies we have, and since there is a lot of water, the Royal Fortress can fit the bill and siege from the oceans and seas."

"The Aegis can be there, to provide some aerial support, and then comes me. I have a Rathalos, and I even managed to forge some war horns, and that part is when Gyro opens the portals to the locations which we have marked, the locations where there are a lot of winged monsters to join the battle, and then I blow the horn and these wild winged monsters come in and help us."

"That is what we have been doing lately, gaining the trust from some of the monsters at the Monster Hunter World and making sure their locations re unharmed ad untouched by anyone, and we are also gonna need aid from the rest of you guys to help the Resistance on the ground, and in sieging the castle, which I know will have a powerful force field."

"When the field is done, then that is where I come in and I snag the music box and I have some unsettled business with that giant damned king for making me into a total fool! I wanna make sure he gets a beat down for tricking me and making me into his pawn!" Marcy then sighs. "And I thought I could trust him, I hope Lady Olivia and Yunnan are doing fine, they are the ones I can call friends and also family there."

They all understand it hurts for Marcy to know that two of her friends are in trouble, she then speaks. "So, that is the plan and then we can bring peace to Amphibia, and then I can make amends with my friends and... Well, end of story." Michelle is concerned, it would mean she won't see Macy again, and it's gonna be a hard ride to do that one.

"So, anyone here think this is a bad idea? I am open to other..."

"The plan is full proof" replied Lincoln, he then gets up. "We are at your disposal, and whatever else is needed, perhaps Hollow as well." they all look to the Sith Lord Supreme who is drinking coffee.

"Yeah sure, I don't get much to do this month and we found the source of the Varelsi and shut them down, they won't be back for who knows how long and we can have peace across the realm where I reside. So, Marcy Wu I will aid you with only a few of my strongest forces."

Marcy is happy to hear this, her plan has been accepted and everyone is now onboard, now they need to get everything ready for an epic other world comeback and to stop a dangerous invasion, just then the alarms go off. "What the heck?"

Martin then goes through the computer. "A portal opened up at Royal Woods?!" All of them are alarmed by this and they all head off, they are all afraid it would be from another world, or perhaps Amphibia.

(Back at Royal Woods, Michigan.)

All the Royal Defenders are back, and the FutureTech forces from the outpost, along with the White Fang stand fast and have their weapons pointed at the portal that popped up, and above them is Lady Ace and she is charged up and ready.

"So, this portal came out of nowhere?" asked Lincoln, towards Lady Ace.

The superheroine nods. "Yeah, I was on patrol and then saw the portal and so I signaled the aircraft on patrol and pointed to that thing, and they flew back and then came back with backup. I don't know what this is all about, but if these are the same robot frog things, then this is gonna be bad..."

"No, this portal doesn't lead to Amphibia, not even close." The guardian moves closer. "Something else is going on, and this doesn't have anything to do with that..." then a hand comes through, a long and pink hand that is gloved. "Oh god!" The hand grabs Gyro by his right leg. "Fuck!" Then it tries to drag him through, but then Sergei and Lori head over and pull on him.

Gyro channels his energies and he blasts something at the portal, and then they hear a voice. "Ow. Now why would you do that and hurt, mommy?" the hand then shakes Gyro around and this knocks away Lori and Sergei, and then something comes through, something large.

All of them point their weapons up to the tall thing and even Lady Ace is surprised by what she sees, and it's at her flight level. Gyro is now upside down and still held by this thing, and he is baffled by that thing. "Oh. My. Lord."

Luna then summons an ice axe, and then Anub'Arak roars at that thing. "What the hell is that thing?! Also, why did it call itself mommy?"

Mommy Long Legs.
Also referred to as Experiment 1222, is a toy produced by Playtime Co. Mommy Long Legs is one of the antagonists in Poppy Playtime. She states that The Player deserves to be left alone to die for working at Playtime Co., rather than her, indicating that she has a hatred for the employees, and believes she was treated unfairly in the factory.

Mommy Long Legs is a large, slender creature similar to Huggy Wuggy, but with more human-like features and also bears a resemblance to a spider with light pink skin. She has a tangled and noodle-like hair, which is tied into a ponytail using a baby blue hair tie. Her face is decorated with plastic green eyes with three eyelashes on each eye, hollow mouth decorated with a pink lipstick of a darker shade, and the presence of a nose is absent. Her body is composed of a torso and a lower body, which is colored with a dark shade of pink to resemble a sweetheart-bodice dress. Unlike a spider, she has only four limbs, all of which are very elastic and bendy in nature. She is commonly compared alongside Betty Spaghetty as they share numerous features: Bright appealing colors, feminine makeover, and most noticeably their bendy and elastic limbs.

Mommy Long Legs looks to all of them. "Oh look, new playmates to play with. I already have someone to enjoy my playtime, but seeing all of you, it just makes things even better. Now, we're gonna play a game, and if you all do not follow the rule, then Mommy will eat you're insides while you're all still alive."

They all remain silent, and then Sam speaks. "Wow that sounded dark and morbid."

Gyro then channels his arcane powers. "Here's one, it's called fuck off bitch!" He blasts at her hand and she drops the guardian. "Ow."

Mommy Long Legs is angered hearing this. "How dare you?! Such language, must be punished!" She then opens her mouth and does a low growl.

"Shit!" Gyro morphs into a raven and he escapes. "Everyone push her back!"

"Open fire!" Everyone is about to shoot, but then Lady Ace charges forward and she lands a mean right hook and then she lays a powerful energy blast and this causes Mommy Long legs to be knocked away and back through the portal.

Gyro lands down and he slams his staff, and the portal is closed, and right before Mommy Long Legs can even get through, and everyone is freaked out, and then Lincoln asks. "Guardian, what the heck was that thing and why did it look like some reject toy from the 90's?"

Gyro then stands up. "Truth be told, even I don't know what that thing was."
