[Somehwere in Mistral]
The unofficial team of Ruby Rose, Nora Valkerie, Lie Ren, and Pyrrha Niko's was fast asleep as they had spent the last several hours making their journey to Haven, and they needed to rest up as Haven wasn't too far from where they were and they needed their energy to keep going as they were barely rescued by Mistralian ships that were taking them to the school in question
Ruby was sound asleep, but she appeared to be quite troubled as she was having a strange dream. She dreamed of a land she had never been in filled with people walking around the streets in kimonos. She saw a man with a ridiculous haircut, wearing nothing but his underwear dance around as men in black kimonos watched over him from afar.
She saw a great fire burn through an ancient looking Mistialan Castle as a beam of light shot into the sky and as some woman rode her away from the fire on a horse. She then saw that very woman get shot to death as she I just finished saying something that sounded important, but Ruby couldn't hear a word she said.
"Wahhhhh!"said Ruby, waking up in a cold sweat as the rest of her unofficial teammates woke up from the commotion.
"Ruby, what's wrong?"asked Pyrrha as she was rubbing her eyes.
"I... I had a weirdly weird dream of events that never happened to me."responded Ruby, wondering why she had that dream.
"Maybe it's something you saw a long time ago and you're just barely remembering it in dream form."suggested Ren, as that was the most logical explanation he could come up with
"Hah... I don't know..."responded Ruby, not sure if what Ren suggested was even remotely accurate.
"Things haven't been easy for us since fearless leader died."said Nora, as everyone agreed silently that that was the truth.
Ever since Jaune died at the Battle of Beacon, things have not been going well for their group of friends. Weiss was forcibly taken back to Atlas by her father. Blake ended up running off somewhere and no one knows where she ran off to. And Yang is now just sulking back at Patch, angry at the entire world for losing her arm and for Blake running away on them.
Ozpin was dead, Beacon was in ruins, and even though the Grimm Wyvern is technically dead, it's corpse still attracts multiple hordes of Grimm to the city of Vale, halting massive efforts to reconstruct the city ever since the White Fang filled it with Grimm and attacked innocent civilians.
"Remember, Jaune wouldn't want to sulk just because he died. He sacrificed himself so we could keep going and find out what exactly happened at Beacon in make the people behind it pay."said Pyrrha, although it was obvious to her friends that she was suffering the most as she was in love with the gullible idiot who died at Beacon.
"Cinder..."said Ruby, with clear venom in her voice at the name of the woman responsible for her best friend's death.
"She's dead, Ruby."said Ren, although he didn't sound sure.
"Until we see a body, I'll believe she's alive."said Nora, as it was suspected that Cinder was still alive as they never found a body.
Just an arm that was clearly cut off...
"I agree with hammer girl on this one, unless there's a body, there's no guarantee she's dead."said Qrow, who is still weak from the poison Tyrian injected him with.
"Uncle Qrow, we really should start moving now or else..."said Ruby, who didn't even want to think of the other possibility.
"I'm okay...we're almost there, can't make the pilots fly any faster anyway."said Qrow as group was nearing Haven more and more

Not far from Mistral, Weiss was flying to the Kingdom in the cargo bay of an Atlas ship after she paid off the pilot to sneak her into the Kingdom so she could get away from her abusive father, manipulative brother, drunk mother, and overall bad family and life in Atlas in order to meet up with her friends, who she considered her real family besides her sister, Winter, the only person of her blood family that she actually has a good relationship with...
'Ruby and the others must be a mess right now. I'm sure they're still going strong but the idiot dying on them really affected Ruby and Pyrrha.' thought Weiss, as she began recalling the lovable dork who always tried to hit on her.
She always thought he was after her family's wealth and fame like the other would be suitors. But at the school dance she realized that that wasn't the case when Jaune set her up with the guy she really wanted to go the dance with, Neptune.
He may have been an unbearable idiot, but he was kind and honestly did like her until he understood that she didn't have feelings for him. Honestly that made her respect him, even more so when he sacrificed his life in order to stop Cinder from causing more destruction to Vale then she already did.
Her thoughts were sooner interrupting when she noticed that the ship was flying around an environment she didn't recognize. So Weiss immediately headed to the front of the ship to ask the pilot what was going on.
"Where are we?"asked Weiss, as she knows there was a lot of floating rocks and what looks like small islands all around the ship.
"Nowhere good, we're passing some of Lake matsu's floating islands."responded the pilot.
"Gravity does that forms around these things is giving us a little turbulence. Nothing we can't handle, but sometimes the islands hide some nasty Grimm."added the pilot, something wise wasn't too fond of.
"Look out!"yelled Weiss, as soon as she knows that a ship that was descending at a fast pace was about to hit them.
The pilot quickly maneuvered out of the way just as the obviously damaged ship crashed into a nearby Island.
"Oh, you have got to be kidding me."said the pilot, noticing that something was wrong with the controls.
They then her to distress call from a nearby ship as they saw a bunch of Grimm Lancers attacking it and tearing it to pieces quickly, and as soon as the Lancers were done they focused their attention on the ship Weiss was on.
"Lancers, freaking Lancers, buckle up!"order the pilot, as Weiss went into the cargo bay.
"You carrying dust, right?"asked Weiss.
"Officially, no, unofficially, yes."said the pilot, as Weiss open up one of the crates to reveal this filled with weaponized dust.
"Then when I tell you, open the rear door, open the rear door!"said Weiss as she loaded myrtenaster with dust!
"Better make it quick! Or those Lancers will tear us apart!"said the pilot as he was doing his best to avoid the Lancers.
"Just be ready!"said Weiss, ready to show these Lancers what happens when you mess with a Schnee!

"Haven is in danger and we can't inspire our people to stand up."said Blake, as currently she, Sun, and her parents were working hard to try to inspire the Faunus of Menagerie to stand up and protect Haven from the White Fang.
But that was easier said than done because the Faunus of Menagerie had no reason to trust humans, and even though the Headmaster of Haven was a Faunus, that still didn't give them much of a reason to go and help the humans who have mistreated them for so long.
"Blake, you need to be patient."said Ghira, as he knew their cause would not immediately sway the minds of the populace.
"Your father is right, Blake. We can't rush things like this or else it could backfire on us."said Kali, who knew this well as it has happened to them in the past when they were the leaders of the White Fang.
"I just... I just don't understand why they won't listen. They must see what Adam is turning the White Fang into, there is no way they're that blind to it."said Blake, knowing full well that her fellow Faunus knew how dangerous her ex was.
She herself noticed how much Adam went down a darker and more vicious path as the days went by. She saw that he was losing his sanity and starting to grow more vicious as time went on. And that fateful day on the train when he was willing to blow up people who had nothing to do with the discrimination against the Faunus just proved to her that he was too far gone.
Now he was leading the White Fang and he was going to lead the Faunus into damnation should he continue his violent war against the kingdoms. As Blake pondered on this she grabbed the side of herself where Adam stab directly during the attack on Beacon, where a scar now remained as a reminder of that day, where he promised to take away everything she loved.
"Your Dad's right, Blake. These guys don't have any reason to stick their noses in into things they don't consider their business. They know Adam is a monster, but they're too scared to go against him and his followers."said Sun, as it was hard for people to go against someone they respected and now feared.
"But if Adam continues this aggressive war with the Kingdoms there eventually going to punish us for his actions."said Blake, wondering how her fellow Faunus don't see the ramifications in the near future if Adam continues this violent war against innocent people.
"We know, Blake. But most of these people are peaceful and don't want to see that foreseeable future. They still want to believe that the White Fang is a source of good that can help their fellow Faunus that still live in the kingdoms. They haven't seen what you have seen, meaning they'll never truly understand the violence Adam is bringing to us."said Ghira, pleading with his daughter to be patient as he was sure with time public opinion will go in their favor.
Meanwhile Ilia, a former friend of Blake and now a follower of Adam was watching Blake and her family from afar with Fennec and Corsac Albain, the leaders of the Menagerie branch of the White Fang.
"Brother Adam has already given the order, are you with us Ilia?"asked Fennec.
"Blake and her family are too dangerous to continue to allow them to spread their lies."added Corsac.
"If it means a brighter future for the Faunus, so be it."said Ilia, as she and the brothers were treated and prepared to assassinate the Belladonna family.

"My goodness, I've never seen such fine swords in a while."said a bull Faunus blacksmith, as he handed Kashu and Crocea Mors back to Jaune.
"I was told that you were the best when it came to sharpening and cleaning."said Jaune as he was inspecting his swords.
"Well, you heard right. I'm the best at making sure the swords are as sharp as ever for combat, while keeping them nice and clean as you need to keep your weapons in ship shape if you want them to have a long lifespan."said the bull Faunus, as someone who appeared to be as apprentice approached him with scabbards, red scabbards.
"I also took the liberty of constructing those red scabbards in the exact shape and size of your swords. But I do wonder why a man is carrying a broadsword and a katana at the same time. I mean there's no known sword style that combines two different shaped swords like that."said the bull Faunus as he handed Jaune the red scabbards.
"There are some like that... they're just really, really far away from here."said Jaune, technically telling the truth as he was referring to the Grand Line.
"I must say you look like an experienced Huntsman. I'm surprised I've never heard of you."said the bull Faunus, noticing all of Jaune's muscles and scars.
"I've... I've never been fond of the public limelight so I've done my best to make sure I stay in obscurity."lied Jaune, as there's no way the blacksmith would ever believe he was in another world.
"Hey, I completely understand. I myself ain't too fond of the paparazzi and all that nonsense. I just love doing what I love and I don't want anyone besides my clients bothering me."said the blacksmith, as Jaune tossed him a bag full of gold coins.
"You really did a good job bringing Kashu and Crocea Mors back to fighting condition. They are not only clean I can tell you did a well job sharpening them. I'm very pleased with the work, especially these red scabbards."said Jaune as he plays the scabbards in his sash.
"My pleasure. And are you sure you want to leave this katana behind? It's not of the same quality as those two swords you had me sharpened but it's still pretty good."said the blacksmith as he pulled out the katana Jaune had.
"No need... that sword is useless compared to the creature I'm after."said Jaune, feeling like that regular katana will never be able to pierce Kaido's extremely tough skin... at least at his skill level.
"Ah, a man on a mission I see. Say no more, it ain't any of my business on what you do with your life. Just please make sure to maintain those swords as I haven't seen such great quality in a long time and it's a shame if those things end up breaking."said the blacksmith, as Jaune put Kashu and Crocea Mors into their new scabbards.
"Thrust me, I'll take good care of them."said Jaune as he walked out of the metal shop as the blacksmith was testing the gold coins, confirming they were real.
'Now to find a way back to Wano and join the others for the final battle.' thought Jaune, as there was no way he was going to miss being there with Kin'emon, Kawamatsu, Denjiro, Ashura, Kiku, Cat Viper, Dogstorm, Raizo, and Kanjuro in the final battle against Kaido!
Jaune had trained for the last five years for that very purpose! His job was to make sure that Kozuki Momonosuke becomes the next Shogun of Wano! His job was to defeat Orochi and Kaido and clean up the mess they made in order to make the Land of Wano prosperous as it once was.
"But for now I need to go somewhere and see if I can meet up with anyone who can help me get back there. Maybe I'll have some luck at Haven."said Jaune, as one of the major academies was a good place to start.
"Now... how do I use this again?"asked Jaune as he looked at a scroll he purchased.
The last time he used one was thirteen years ago, and for the last thirteen years he has been using a Den Den Mushi as a form of communication. Jaune pulled out his personalized Den Den Mushi, which had his appearance along with the crest of the Kozuki Clan printed on its shell.
"Ba da da da da da da da...Ba da da da da da...Ba da da da da..."said the Den Den Mushi, before Jaune just gave up as there was no way he was going to get in contact with Kin'emon, especially considering he was in another world entirely.
"Ha... Can't blame a guy for trying..."said Jaune as he began making his way to another bullhead bay in order to bribe another official to take him to Haven.
Hopefully the next official will take gold coins like the last one...
Unknown to Jaune through, some bandits were looking at him and his seemingly endless amount of gold coins.

'Ruby...' thought Yang as after much time and training, she finally got over her trauma and managed to recover enough to go out and search for her sister, who is currently somewhere in Mistral.
'Your going to be in so much trouble when I find you... I understand why you did it as you lost your best friend, but you could have at least spent some time to grieve and then go out and try to save the world...' thought Yang, wondering what was she going to do with her reckless, heroic sister.
"How much further, pal?"asked Yang, referring to her passenger that was currently riding on bumblebee.
"This should just about do it."responded to shady looking man, as Yang started to slow down her motorcycle.
"You wait here, I'll head up ahead and make sure the coast is clear."said the shady looking man as he got off the motorcycle, and quickly ran off into the nearby woods.
Yang just rolled her eyes as she removed her sunglasses, the glove covering her mechanical arm, and the slacks around her waist as she began stretching before she noticed that someone fired a dust around at her. She quickly intercepted with her metal arm, blocking the fire dust as multiple bandits approached her from all sides.
"I can't believe you were dumb enough to let me lead you here."said the shady guy as he revealed that he was a part of the bandits.
"And I can't believe your friends easily rat you out the moment they're in danger."said a mysterious voice, causing everyone to turn around Jaune approaching with two bandits clearly beating up in both his hands.
"What did you do to them?"asked the shady guy.
"They tried to rob me, and I didn't let them. Then I just decided to hand them back to you guys."said Jaune as he tossed them towards the bandits.
"Is this everyone?"asked Yang, facing the bandits in front of her.
"Hahahah, yes little lady this is it. Unless you count everyone back at the camp back that way."said the shady guy, deciding to focus on the lady he was planning to rob before dealing with the old guy who beat up his friends.
"That way?"asked Yang, confusing the bandits.
"Don't you idiots get it. She purposely let you draw her into an ambush, I have a feeling there's someone at that can she wants to talk to."said Jaune, as although it was a long time he knew that was most likely what Yang was up to.
"Well, well, well, looks like we have a confident little lady here. Now how about you begin paying me back for my tooth by us taking your bike, and you taking your lumps, along with the old guy over there for what he did to our friends."said the shady guy is Jaune leaned on a nearby tree.
"I don't see that happening anytime soon. All of you combined cannot take her."said Jaune, as Yang look like she got a little bit stronger in the months she had been here on Remnant.
"Watch your mouth, old man. Or it's going to take more than that gold of yours to apologize to us."said the shady guy, causing Jaune to scoff and begin chuckling.
"What's so funny?"
"Kid, I've been training for a long time to cut down someone who is much stronger than any of you. Someone who will always be stronger than you."said Jaune, referring to Kaido.
"Shut up! We'll deal with you as soon as we deal with the sweetheart who took my tooth."said the shady guy, as the bandits focused on Yang.
Yang just activated Ember Celica, surprising the bandits.
"Nice try. You may have gotten the drop on me last time, but it's going to take more."said the bandit before he was interrupted by Yang's metal arm seemingly activating.
"Get them!"ordered the shady guy at the bandits charged that Yang and Jaune.
Yang use their hand to hand combat skills she learned from her father to easily dispatch the bandits one by one as the shady guy pointed his revolver at Jaune as Yang was making short work of his friends.
"I saw you going into that blacksmith's shop. I know you're loaded because that guy costs a lot, and I saw you paying him with gold coins. Now how about you hand any gold coins on you and I don't have to shoot you."said the shady guy as Jaune was flipping a gold coin in his fingers.
"Here."said Jaune as he flicked the gold coin with great speed.
The shady guy was surprised by how fast that coin went before he heard a clank sound. He then looked at his revolver and much to his surprise the barrel had bent in a hundred and eighty degree angle.
"What?!"asked the guy, before Yang struck him across the face.
"I'm surprised you left those guys try to rough me up, old guy."said Yang, as she looked over at her old friend who she didn't recognize because of the age difference.
"These idiots are foot soldiers at best. They or no way threats to you."said Jaune as he began to walk away.
"Hey!"yelled Yang, stopping Jaune in his tracks.
"Can I help you?"he inquired, wondering what she wanted.
"What is that sword doing on your waist?"asked Yang with red eyes.
"You mean Kashu, I acquired it legally thank you very much."said Jaune, even though that was a blatant lie as he stole it from the Marines.
"No... I'm talking about Crocea Mors!"said Yang with anger, recognizing her little sister's best friend's sword.
"Hah... if I knew you were going to be here I wouldn't have bothered returning these guys to their scum brethren."said Jaune, as Yang gritted hair teeth.
"I'm asking you a question?!"she yelled again.
"I retrieve this sword as I'm a member of the Arc family and it rightfully belongs to us."said Jaune, as Yang appeared to believe him because of the matching hair color and eyes.
"We'll see about that!"said Yang as she charged that Jaune, wanted to see if his statement was true.
Jaune merely let out a sigh of annoyance as he stepped out of the way as Yang tried to punch him. Unlike the bandits, Yang found herself fighting a whole different level of opponent as every time she tried to punch him he kept avoiding getting punched, like he knew where the punch was going before she even thought of it.
He was because of his observation Haki that he learned from the Roger Pirates.
Yang then proceeded to try to punch him with Ember Celica, causing Jaune to pull out Kashu as intercept the strike by knocking the blast into the air, forcing Yang back.
"I don't want to hurt you, Yang."said Jaune, as Yang looked at him with shock.
"How do you know my name?!"she asked as she started to get a better look at the man in front of her.
And his familiar blue eyes, and although he was clearly older it was obvious who he was now that she got a good look at him... and she couldn't believe it...
"Vomit boy..."said Yang with shock as she stopped attacking, as she knew those eyes anywhere.
"Yeah... it's me, Jaune Arc, back from the dead."said Jaune as he lowered Kashu.
She tried to punch him with tears in her eyes, but he just easily intercepted the punch and moved out of the way.
"It doesn't even matter what you two did. When Raven finds out what you two did, you're both dead!" threatened the shady guy, revealing that he was part of the Branwen tribe.
"Hah... possibly, but I doubt it. I am her daughter after all."responded Yang, doubting very much that her mother would do anything against her for beating up a few of her lackeys.
"... I'm dead..."said the shady guy as he fell unconscious as soon as he found out he was attacking his leader's daughter.
"As for you! You have a lot of explaining to do!"said Yang as she pointed her metallic finger at Jaune.
"I know... you all deserve that much."said Jaune as he paced Kashu back in its scabbard.
"I suppose I can tell you my tale as we go to wherever your mom is."said Jaune, figuring out that's who Yang wanted to see.
"Don't leave out a single detail."said Yang as she motioned for Jaune to get on to bumblebee.
He did reluctantly, as Yang turned on the engine and began driving in the direction the bandit pointed to where Raven was most likely at.
"I suppose it started on that fateful day at that beach in Kuri, where I met the man who I was willing to fight for and die alongside with until the very end."said Jaune, has he began retelling the last thirteen years of his life to his friend.
Someone he didn't expect to meet on his journey back to Wano!
