"No...try again..."said Jaune, as currently he's been showing his friends from Remnant how to use armament Haki... or at the very least he's trying to as currently they're not doing a very good job at it... and that's putting it nicely.
Over the last several days Jaune has been trying to teach Ruby, Weiss, Yang, Pyrrha, Nora, and Ren the basics of armament Haki! So far the results have been less than pleasing as none of them seem to be getting the concept of Haki.
"Argh! Okay if I haven't figured it now, than I never going to figure it out!"said Yang with frustration as she decided to call it quits!
"Yeah... this is so hard and my head hurts!"said Nora, deciding to call it quits too.
"Hey now, I know there have not been much results but I'm sure you can do better."said Jaune, hoping to talk some sense into his friends and hoping they wouldn't give up on the concept of armament Haki.
"Well then how do you make it look so easy?"asked Yang, wondering how at one point the weakest students of Beacon Academy made it look so easy.
"You forget I've been practicing for thirteen years."said Jaune, as Yang decided to shut up as any more would have just made her sound stupid.
"Jaune, there has to be a way to understand it."said Pyrrha, as Jaune said Aura and Haki are like cousins.
Everyone has it, and given enough training they could Master it!
"Hmm... all right how about all of you try attacking me!"said Jaune, causing his friends to look at him like he was crazy.
"Wha?"said Ruby, as Jaune wasn't making any sense.
"I believe a visual demonstration is in order in order for all of you to get it."said Jaune as he closed his eyes.
"Are you seriously going to take us on with your eyes closed?_asked Ren, feeling like their friend was sort of insulting them at this point.
"Just do it!"said Jaune, as most of the members of team RWBY and theam JNPR readied their weapons and charge that Jaune!
"Let's see...Yang is going to try to strike me with an uppercut to the left."said Jaune, moving his head so slightly so he would avoid the uppercut.
"What?"said Yang, as she couldn't believe what had just happened; as it was very rare for anyone to have avoided her punch so easily!
"Now Pyrrha it's going to try to stab me with Milo near the sternum."said Jaune as he twirled around like a ballerina to avoid Pyrrha'sattack.
"Huh?"said Pyrrha, as that was the first time anyone has ever avoided her attack so easily.
"Now Ruby's going to try to attack me with a vertical slash."said Jaune as he took two steps to the left, avoiding Crescent Rose as Ruby tried to hit him with it.
"What?"asked Ruby, as no one has been able to avoid that strike; especially with their eyes closed.
"Now Ren is going to shoot me from behind while Nora tries to strike me with a downwards hammer strike."said Jaune as he crouched down.
He then sprung into the air like a frog as he avoided getting shot from behind by Ren, as Nora jumped even higher and try to strike them with her hammer!
Jaune simply smile that he took two steps back and avoided the strike before lightly karate chopping Nora in the neck.
"Woah!"said Nora, as Jaune certainly has improved since his time at Beacon.
"Now Weiss will try to use myrtenaster to freeze my feet to the ground."said Jaune, as he punched the ice floating around his legs, shattering it into a bunch of pieces.
"Okay, how are you doing all of this?"asked Weiss, as she needed an explanation to what was happening before her.
Jaune simply smiled as he opened his eyes.
"This is the power of observation Haki."said Jaune, confusing his friends.
"It's the power to allow someone to have a stronger sense of another's presence. If you enhanced his power, you can tell where even an invisible enemy is, and it doesn't matter how many there are, or what their next move will be. But this is a very hard form of Haki to master."said Jaune, remembering it took him ages to get it right.
"Now, Ren, Weiss! Attack me from both sides!"said Jaune, as Ren and Weiss complied with his instructions and charged at him.
This time Jaune didn't bother dodging as he put both hands on both sides of him and coated them with armament Haki! To the surprise of Ren and Weiss, he easily caught storm flower and myrtenaster from their sharp points and wasn't even so much as cut!
"This is armament Haki! Think of it as an invisible set of armor! And if the armor is hard enough..."said Jaune as he pushed Ren and Weiss back a few meters before he approached Ruby.
Ruby looked at him with confusion until he flicked her on the forehead with his finger, causing the girl to fall down a few feet as she held her head with pain!
"...You can you use it as offensive power."said Jaune as he finished his sentence.
"Ow! But my Aura is at full power! So how did something as insignificant as a finger flick to the forehead hurts so much!"said Ruby, wondering how that finger flick hurt so much.
"Hehehehehe...sorry. The answer is because armament hockey allows me to exploit a weakness in a defense. Even creatures that are normally hard to strike like Geists can now be attacked with this power."explained Jaune, as his friends could honestly see the benefits of using armament Haki.
"So...Grimm that are normally impossible to penetrate with normal weapons can be penetrated."said Ren, as he knew that older Grimm had thicker armor.
"Exactly! Now allow me to demonstrate the third and rarest form of Haki."said Jaune as he noticed some Dobermans eating in a nearby trash bin.
They appeared to be strays and based on the sound they were making as they were eating in the trash, they were hungry and aggressive!
Jaune smiled as he jumped down from the balcony as his friends wondered what he was planning, before noticing what he was about to do as he approached the Dobermans eating from the trash!
"Jaune, be careful!"said Ruby as the Dobermans noticed Jaune and without warning our growling charged at him with their teeth at the ready!
"I'm only barely scratching the surface off of this power but...Watch!"said Jaune as he stuck his hand out and his eyes turned red!
No one seemed to notice this as they dilated and soon a blast of invisible energy was fired at the Dobermans! The once aggressive dogs quickly began to look at each other with fear as the bravado and aggressiveness they once had seem to have completely disappeared as they began to weep and roll on their stomachs, indicating that they had submitted Jaune.
"Woah..."said Pyrrha, as that was the only way to describe what Jaune just did.
"This... is conquerors Haki... it's a very rare form of Haki that only one in a million people have...it basically allows someone to impose their will on to others...and if you have a strong enough will you aren't affected... but anyone with a week will immediately gives up the will to fight, like these normally aggressive Doberman Pinschers."said Jaune, as he fell back as conquers Haki did drain him of a lot of energy.
He still needed to master it as as of right now he could only use it unintentionally or in small bursts... either way it drains him as there's a reason it's the third and rarest form of Haki.
"Then what is Ryou?"asked Weiss as Jaune jump back onto the balcony, only this time he was bringing with him several large boulders.
"Ryou is an advanced form of armament Haki. basically if you take it up a notch then armament Haki can become even stronger and enter an enemy's body and destroy it from the inside, but trust me I when I tell you you need to master ordinary armament Haki before you can even think about using Ryou."said Jaune, as it's okay I'm a while to master Ryou.
And that was mainly due to his massive amounts of Haki coursing through his veins.
"Now...Ruby, Yang, Ren, Pyrrha. I want you to use these ordinary rounds and concentrate as hard as you can and invisible sense of armor around these bullets and fire them into these boulders."said Jaune as he handed each of his friends an ordinary round.
Each complied and loaded their weapons with the ordinary round as they stared at the boulders and tried to focus and imagine an invisible sense of armor around the none dust round.
"Concentrate... just imagine that bullet covered in armor."said Jaune, hoping that the basics he showed over the last several days will finally paid off.
Ruby, Yang, Pyrrha, and Ren focused with every ounce of strength they could muster an invisible sense of armor around the normal round! They felt like their veins around their foreheads were about to explode from the amount of concentration they were doing!
"Now fire!"said Jaune, as all of them fire their weapons at once!
And to their surprise the bullets struck the boulders with much more fullers then what a normal bullet would do! It didn't shatter the boulder but it caused a lot more damage than what a normal round would do!
"We...we did it."said Ruby, amazed as they finally seem to have scratched a bit Haki for themselves.
"Woah!"said Yang, already imagining the potential this power had when they finally got a good hold of it.
"Awesome..."said Weiss, as those bullets shouldn't have pierced those boulders like they did.
It was clear that those bullets were made a little stronger... not by much but it was something!
"Well... you guys have only managed to scratch the surface of armament Haki, But a wise man once said that the journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step."said Jaune, super proud of his friends as they managed to scratch something like armament Haki.
But he wondered why it only happened when he gave them those bullets.
Oh well... at least they finally managed to scratch the surface of armament Haki!
