Time passed since the battle of Haven. Headmaster Leonardo Lionheart was praise by the media as being a hero who gave his life to stop the terrorists trying to destroy the school, with only a handful of people knowing that he was in actuality a traitor who was helping the terrorists all along!
Ozpin decided to lie to the media as he figured it was best to use Leo better as a symbol of heroism rather than a martyr.
Ruby and everyone else disagreed but the adults managed to convince them to go along with the farce even if they didn't want to...after all all of Mistral was praising Lionheart like a hero when they knew he was nothing more than a sniveling coward who sold out a bunch of innocent Huntsman to save his own skin!
Jaune didn't believe in these lies as well as he knew that if someone discovered that Lionheart was in fact a traitor, the damage could be far worse than treating him as a fallen hero! But Qrow and Ozpin didn't listen to his concerns one bit, despite the warning as they knew that the only people who knew that Lionheart was a traitor was them, and Salem's faction.
And now those faces were the most wanted criminals on the face of Remnant.
"Jaune, I can't believe you're going along with the idea of letting that traitor get all this praise."said Cat Viper, not liking the idea of someone who betrayed everything he stood for and everyone who believed in him to get praise.
"I know how you feel but it's not our concern. Lionheart got what he deserved in the end and that's all that matters."said Jaune, knowing that that's sniveling back stabbing coward fell at his employer's hands.
"So, what is our next move?"asked Cat Viper, wondering what they were going to do next.
"We are going to do what we have been waiting to do for the past twenty years. Kaido and his Beast Pirates are still out there and controlling Wano, along with that tyrannical coward Orochi. The only way we're going to take him down is in one fell swoop by taking out all the leadership at once! With the Tabiroppo, All Stars, and Kaido taken down, no one will be afraid to go against Orochi and his followers as we all know that the real power behind his regime is Kaido and his forces."said Jaune, as the plan to raid Onigashima hasn't changed one bit.
Only when Kaido and his forces were defeated could Wano and its citizens be free!
"Your right. That is the whole reason me and that stupid dog became the leaders of our kingdom, in order to have the army necessary to take on the Beast Pirates. But it seems convincing our people to fight was easier than we thought after what Jack did to our country."said Cat Viper, before looking down at his missing arm.
"Yeah, that bastard will pay for what he did to Zou!"said Jaune as veins appeared on his forehead, as Cat Viper told him everything and it made him furious to know that Kaido was still causing so much damage to his friends and loved ones even after so much time.
"So, what else can you tell me?"asked Jaune, wanting to know what information Cat Viper managed to gather over the last twenty years.
"Kaido has three subordinate pirate crews that are significant threats. They are the the Drake Pirates, On Air Pirates, and Hawkins Pirates. Each one of them is led by a captain who is part of the Worst Generation, a set of young Pirates who have made a huge name for themselves of the last several years on the Grand Line. Each one of them is dangerous but the real threat is their captains who have powerful devil fruit powers."said Cat Viper, who really did his research on Kaido's forces.
"Great... like we don't have anymore problems to deal with. Please tell me Kin'emon and Momonosuke managed to gather the Allies we need for the attack."said Jaune, hoping that those two succeeded in their mission and gathering powerful allies.
"They in fact did by gathering to Pirate crews a part of the worst generation, the Heart Pirates and Strawhat Pirates."said Cat Viper, getting Jaune's attention.
"Well that's good, tell me about him."said Jaune, wanting to know more about his new allies.
"Well the Heart Pirates are led by a former warlord of the sea, Trafalgar Law. He has the power of the op op fruit, giving him power over life and death so to say which is his moniker, surgeon of death."said Cat Viper, as Jaune looked at the wanted poster that Cat Viper had on him.
"The other crew is led by Monkey D Luffy, better known as Strawhat Luffy."said Cat Viper, as Jaune recognize the name.
"Is he related to Monkey D Garp?"Jaune asked.
"Yes, he's his grandson."responded Cat Viper.
"Huh, if he's anything like his grandpa then he must be one heck of a fighter as I remember that Marine vice admiral giving Captain Roger one hell of a time."said Jaune, knowing that he had run-ins with the likes of Garp and Sengoku during his time with the Roger Pirates.
"Yeah, but he's a big idiot who thinks more with his stomach than he does with his brain. But his heart is in a good place and even managed to get Lord Momonosuke just stop acting like such a cry baby. That guy has something about him that just draws people towards him. And I believe he'll be one of the most valuable assets against Kaido and his forces."said Cat Viper, ad Jaune smiled upon seeing the wanted poster of Strawhat Luffy smiling.
"This guy has D in his name so no doubt he is going to be a hell of trouble for the Marines and the World Government."said Jaune, as he would like to meet this Luffy guy one day and see for himself what kind of guy he is.
"Jaune! Cat Viper! What are you guys waiting for the train is about to leave!"yelled Ruby from the train platform.
"Comming!"said both Red Scabbards at the same time.
"So, what's the plan?"asked Cat Viper, wondering what him and his fellow samurai we're going to do next.
"We stick with them until we get to Atlas. Hopefully something there will help us get to Wano for the final battle at Onigashima. We need to be there with the others to rally everyone who is against Kaido and Orochi into a single force that could break into that fortress and take both of their heads!"said Jaune, as the plan has not changed one bit
"But what about them?"asked Cat Viper, knowing that it must be hard for Jaune to leave his friends a second time.
"We'll cross that bridge when we get there. For now all that matters is fulfilling Lord Oden's final request."said Jaune, swearing to repay his debt even if it would take his last dying breath.
"Hmm... can we use them as allies against Kaido. That Ruby girl doesn't seem to stand for Injustice one bit so I'm sure she'll stand with us."said Cat Viper, as he was sure that some of these Huntsman as they called him prove useful in the battle against Kaido.
"No!...They have their hands full with dealing with Salem and her forces. The Grimm I'm going to keep them plenty busy so we can't drain their energy with our fight. They have their own war to wage and they're going to need every ounce of energy they have to fight it!"said Jaune, who wouldn't drag his friends into his war against the Beast Pirates.
"I understand."said Cat Viper.
"You have really mellowed out with old age."joked Jaune Arc, as the Cat Viper he remembers was quite the Hot Head.
"Ha! I am I hell of a lot stronger since the last time you saw me so don't underestimate this Old Man!"said Cat Viper with his usual cocky attitude.
"I'm glad to see you haven't changed one bit my old friend."said Jaune, who was happy to see his friend alive in an almost one piece.
"Me too. It warms my heart to see you alive and well, Jaune."said Cat Viper, people are both samurai join team RWBY and NPR next to the train that would take them to Argus!
The Port Town that would eventually take them to Atlas!
Hey guys PrimusPilus here to ask all of you for advice.
Except that troll who has been bothering me lately on this story. You know who you are and if you even try to suggest anything I'm not going to listen to you as you've hounded me enough.
Anyway, everyone else I want to ask how do you want the story to go?
I have already decided on how I want to wrap up the story and let me tell you it's going to be a doozy but how shall I work through volume six?
I already written out in my notebook what I'm going to do during the Atlas Arc, no pun intended.
But I'm not really sure what to do in this in between as I already know what I want to happen in August but the trip there is kind of a blur for me!
You know those moments where you know you could do something good in between and you're just not sure what to do? Well I've been one of those situations so I wanted to ask.
What do you guys want to happen?
I'm going to put three scenarios here and I want you guys in the comments or PM to select one. The scenario with the most votes will be the one chosen to play out.
1) Jaune and Cat Viper leave the group to head off to Argus on their own.
2) Jaune and Cat Viper end up with team RWBY, Qrow, Ozpin/Oscar, and Maria stranded in the Mistrilian wilderness as they try to get to Argus
3) Jaune, Cat Viper and company just ride the train all the way to Argus with no issue.
Please choose among the scenarios and the one with the most votes will be the scenario that plays out.
