The Beginning of Chaos Part 2

Meanwhile at Hosu General Hospital

Nana is sitting in her savior's room sleeping in a chair in the room, while her savior was watching the news. It was showing the current weather conditions saying it was going to rain throughout tonight and tomorrow and that people who were driving at night to be careful. It then switched to a news story about an upcoming hero named Torrent who was slain by the hero killer. The kid then froze at the word killer.

"Killer." Said the child.

"Hm?" Mumbled Nana. "What you say, kid?"

"I'm a Killer." He said surprising Nana. "I was made to kill people, that's what the masked man and scary lady said whenever they talked to me." He then looked at his scarred hands. "I'm a monster, you even had that look in your eyes when you saw me." He said as he started to cry. Nana then wrapped the kid in her arms.

"Hey now your not a killer. She said. "If you were a killer you would have killed the bad man that was trying to hurt me." The kid then curled up into a ball. After he did, he felt pain. "Hey, don't move so suddenly, Recovery Girl may have healed your wounds, but, you're still going to feel pain right now. No matter how much you move." Said Nana grabbing the kid's shoulder. He then sat back up carefully into a new position. "There, that feels better right?" She said with a smile.

"Yeah, it does. Said the kid as he started to smile. He then jumped at that and grabbed his face.

"What's the matter?" Asked Nana showing concern at his actions.

"I smiled." He said. "I don't remember the last time I smiled."

"Oh, you poor dear." Said a woman who just walked into the room. She had a bun in her hair with a tiny syringe in her hair, a pair of fancy goggles on her face, a pink helmet, a lab coat with her hero costume underneath, yellow gloves, and a syringe-like cane. As she got closer, the child then scooted toward Nana.

"Hey easy, this is Recovery Girl, she's the one who healed you." Reassured Nana.

"She is?" He asked.

"Yes dear, I am." She said with a smile. "And I have to say whoever tortured you like this should be punished to the fullest extent of the law." As she said that she slammed her cane into the ground and the kid flinched at that. "Oh, I'm terribly sorry I didn't mean to startle you like that."

He looked at Recovery Girl and recognized she was being sincere, something he hadn't seen in a long time. "I, It's alright, you were just showing your rage towards those bastards." He said while he started to ease up.

"Excuse me!" Exclaimed Nana as the child jumped at her outburst. "A child shouldn't be using that type of language!" She said while wagging her finger.

"Sorry." He said. He then looked at Recovery Girl. "Excuse me, Miss. Recovery Girl?"

"Oh deary, be free to use my name, Chiyo. " She said waving her hand at him.

"Sorry." He said again. "Miss. Chiyo, what's my name?" Recovery Girl and Nana were taken by this.

"You don't know your name?" Asked Nana. The kid shook his head from side to side. Just before Recovery Girl could say something someone opened the door.

"I believe I can answer that." Said a man as he entered the room. Everyone turned to see who walked in. The child stared at the man noticing one thing he never saw before.

"You're a mouse." He said as he got a chuckle from the mouse, Recovery Girl and Nana.

"Am I a mouse, a bear, or a dog? One thing is certain, I am the principal of U.A." He said as he did some poses which got a chuckle out of the kid.

"Did you really have to say that?" Asked Torino as he walked into the room with Toshi and a man with a tan overcoat and hat. He then looked and saw Nana and stood still in shock. He knew that she was alive thanks to Nezu telling him and Toshi, but, still, he couldn't believe it when he saw her. Nana saw them and smiled.

"Torino, Toshi, it's good to see you." She said trying not to cry.

"Sensei, I cannot tell you how glad I am that you're alive!" Exclaimed Toshi as his voice echoed throughout the room. The kid covered his ears at how loud his voice was.

"Easy Toshi, I'm glad to see you too, but, you are scaring my knight in shining armor." Joked Nana as she pointed to the kid.

"Wait, this child saved you?" Questioned Torino.

"Yeah, he did, he took "him" down in one fellow swoop. She answered. "On a different note, who is the detective?"

"Oh, my apologies this is Naomasa Tsukauchi, he was assigned to guard this room after you brought…" Said Toshi as he realized he didn't know the kid's name.

"Zack." Said Nezu. "Zack G. Moore."

"Yes, Zack to the hospital and told local police about a possible villain lair." He said.

"There is no possible about it Toshi, there is a villain's lair and I believe that's where Zack here came from." Exclaimed Nana.

"But, I'm not a villain." Said Zack.

"No, no your not." Said Nezu as he placed his paw on his hand. "You're an innocent civilian who was abused by terrible people."

"Yeah, about that." Said Tsukauchi. "We went over the crime scene and found remnants of a room, but, other than that there was nothing else. In fact, the only thing at that location was the villain Miss. Shimura told us about."

"All for One." Said Nana and Zack at the same time. This brought some looks on from Toshi, Torino, Nana, and Nezu. Zack looked at the group in confusion.

"I'm sorry?" He said as he felt like he said something he shouldn't have.

"Zack, how do you know who All for One is?" Asked Nezu.

"Well, the masked man always talked about him with some lady dressed up as a nun." He answered.

"I see, this nun, was there anything off about her? He asked Zack.

"You mean other than she wasn't very 'saintly?' He answered.

"A nun that doesn't act like a nun, interesting." Said Nezu as he held his chin. "And this nun and the masked man would always talk about All for One in front of you?"

"Yeah, I think they figured I wouldn't be able to hear them," Zack answered.

"And how did you hear them exactly?" Asked Tsukaychi.

"Well, at first, I tried to read their lips but I only could make out a couple of words." He answered. "But, after a few… 'trials,' my quirk gave me, enhanced hearing." Zack shuddered at the word 'trials' remembering all the needles, violence, and blood, so much blood either his or of another 'patient.'

"Zack." Said Nezu with a serious tone as he gripped his fists. "Did these people perform quirk experiments on you?" When Zack nodded Nezu grumbled some words.

"Nana says you shouldn't swear." Said Zack getting a few chuckles out of the room.

"Chiyo, did you find…. Yes, I unfortunately did." Asked Nezu to be interrupted by Chiyo confirming his fears.

"How badly was he… tested?" Asked Torino trying to find words that wouldn't make Zack cringe.

"Every day." Answered Chiyo. Toshi gripped his wrists as did Torino and Nezu, Tsukauchi was horrified, and Nana held Zack as tears poured down her face. "There were even signs of recitation."

Toshi then slammed his fist against the wall causing a few cracks. "How did no one know about this, there had to be signs of the group performing these activities. Not to mention the amount of medical equipment they had to purchase to just perform this act of villainy!" Shouted Toshi.

"As long as they had the masked man, he could supply them with anything they needed." Answered Zack.

"That would make it harder to find them." Replied Torino grabbing his chin.

"This masked man, was he the leader of this group?" Asked Tsukauchi. Zack then shook his head from side to side. "How do you know that he isn't?"

"Because the scary lady kept saying "the boss" this and "the boss" that. She never treated the masked man as her superior." Answered Zack.

"Scary lady?" Asked Nana holding his shoulder once again. "Who is this scary lady?" Zack then froze out of fear. He started to shiver like mad, enough to make the bed shake. His quirk then activated and darkness started to surround him as arms of shadows started to flail about.

"Zack, calm down, you're safe!" Exclaimed Nana as she continued her grip on his shoulder.

Zack then started to slowly breathe in and out and his quirk started to calm down. "I'd appreciate it if we don't talk about her or the masked man anymore." He said looking down at the bed still trying to get over the memories that came up.

"Zack, I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to bring up bad memories." Said Nana with a concerned look in her eyes.

"It's fine, truth be told I've kind of been powering through this." Said Zack. Nezu then opened his suitcase and grabbed something from it.

"That's quite fine Zack, you've been very helpful." Said Nezu as he placed what he grabbed in front of him. "I figured you like to see this, even though it might make you cry." Zack then realized what was placed in front of him. It was a picture of his mother and father holding his hands on his first day of pre-school. Zack then shed a tear and it hit the picture.

"Thank you, this means a lot to me." He said as he hugged Nezu.

"You're quite welcome. He said returning the hug. After Zack let go he noticed something about Nezu.

"Are you cold?" He asked. Nezu was shivering, but, not out of coldness, but, of a painful memory of his own.

"A little bit, but, don't worry, I'm fine." He replied.

Tsukacushi then coughed. "Sorry, but, I must address something." Said Tsukacushi which got everyone's attention. "Zack, you are seven years old right?" He asked.

"Yeah, why?" Answered Zack with a bit of confusion. Everyone just stared at him with the same amount of confusion as Zack's. "Did I say something weird?"

"Zack, do you know what you look like?" Asked Nana.

"No, they didn't give me a mirror." Replied Zack. "The only things they gave me were food, water, a bed, and a sink and a toilet."

"Well, I think it's about time you did, sonny." Said Chiyo. She then pulled out a compact mirror and opened it in front of him.

Zack then saw what he looked like. He saw his black hair was long and messy with a bane behind his ear, his white dried skin, and his red bloodshot eyes. "Dear God, I look like a discount Grudge." He exclaimed at his appearance.

"Well, I wouldn't go that far." Said Nezu with a chuckle. "Another thing you should know about your appearance is your much taller than you should be for a seven-year-old."

"Really, how tall am I? He asked.

"About 6'3." Answered Chiyo.

"And that's tall for a seven-year-old?" Asked Zack.

"Not if you had a gigantification quirk." Said Chiyo. "However, we did just see what your quirk was after your little panic attack."

"Yes, about that." Said Nezu as he flipped through the pile in his suitcase. "It says through your quirk testing that your quirk is an emitter type, but, this is clearly a mutation type."

"It was probably the first, until, those… monsters pumped me with their drugs and whatever that scary lady was pouring into my drinks." Said Zack choosing his words wisely to not get yelled at by Nana or anyone else.

"What exactly, did she pour into your drinks, Zack?" Asked Nezu.

"She said… she said… I don't remember." Answered Zack.

"Do you remember the color by any chance?" Asked Torino.

"I think… I think it was black, no red, no grey…, maybe all of them." He answered.

"It's alright if you don't remember right away, Zack, give it some time and it might come back to you." Said Tsukauchi.

"I just.. feel so useless." He said with despair in his voice.

"Now don't despair young Zack." Said Toshi. Zack shocked looked at kept listening. "IF anything you have done more than you realized. You survived a horrible ordeal and saved my mentor from All for One and got him arrested. Do you know how many people tried to take down All for One and failed?" Zack shook his head at the question. "To many, he wanted mine and Nana's quirk for his own evil gains, something the first user knew and passed it on so his brother wouldn't get his hands on it." Explained Toshi.

Nana then grinned at him. "I bet you know the name, right? She jokingly asked.

"One for All, that's something the nun and the masked man also talked about, but, I thought it was a person." He answered with surprise.

"Oh, it's much more than that." Said Nana. "This quirk not only is passed down to another but, so is the other user's quirk."

"Wow!" He exclaimed as his eyes shined from excitement.

"Not to break the happy mood. Said Torino as he walked towards them. But, YOU TWO REALIZE YOU JUST GAVE THE ORIGINS OF YOUR QUIRK TO TWO PEOPLE WHO DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT IT! Nana and Toshi's face grew horrified as they just revealed One for All's origins to Recovery girl and Tsukauchi.

Tsukauchi was just baffled by the whole thing. Recovery girl on the other hand… "Young people these days." Said Chiyo who then stared at Nezu who had the 'What the F did I just hear face.'

'Time Skip seventeen years later'

Zack was in U.A Library reading a book on "The Science of Quirks Vol 15." Zack then closed the book and made a shadow-like arm and stacked the book on the dangerously tall stack of books. "That was the 15th and last volume of that series." He said taking a deep sigh. "I also have read through "The Early Age of Quirks series," and "How To Control Your Quirk," not to mention several biographies of different heroes through the years… He then took another sigh. "SO WHY CAN'T I FIND ANYTHING OR ANYONE THAT IS SUFFERING THE THROUGH THE DAMN SIDE EFFECT MY QUIRK IS DOING!?" He shouted at the ceiling.

'Flashback six years later'

Zack, Nezu, and Recovery Girl were inside Nezu's office having a discussion on his quirk.

"What do you mean I'm still eleven years old?" Asked Zack with a bit of an annoyed expression on his face as he sat on the couch.

"Now Zack, don't have a fit. Said Nezu as he sat at his desk. "There is a logical explanation for this."

"Is there really?" He asked. "Because this sounds like a sick joke."

"I wish it were, Zack." Said Chiyo. "But, you truly are still eleven years old." Zack took a deep breath, brought his hands together, and said, "This is a bunch of bs."

"Now Zack, there is no need for that type of language." Said Nezu with a serious tone.

"Sorry, 'Dad,' but even you have to believe this is nuts, no, screw that, it's freaking nonsense!? He exclaimed. "And Chiyo here is saying it's because of my mutated mystery-type quirk?"

"Technically, your quirk is classified as a mutation." Said Nezu.

"Yeah, it is 'Dad', but, we all know that is bs." Said Zack as he corrected Nezu.

"That's the second time he's called you Dad." Said Chiyo. "You must really be angry about this, huh, Zack?

"Well, you'd be too if you were in my shoes being told that you'd forever be a child!" He exclaimed. "Though I guess that's every woman's dream to be forever young."

"Now you are using sarcasm, Nezu, do something about your stepson's attitude before I slap him with my cane." Said Chiyo now equally irritated as Zack.

"I'd prefer if you didn't do that." Said Zack as he grabbed a pillow on the couch.

"Then I suggest you calm down before she does. Said Nezu giving a terrifying aura.

'And now I have ticked off Nezu, great.' Thought Zack as a sweatdrop fell from his forehead. Zack then took a couple of deep breaths and let go of the pillow. "I'm calm now."

"Good." Said Nezu as his terrifying aura went away. "Now Chiyo as you were saying."

"Hmph, yes, where was I?" Questioned Chiyo. "Ah, yes!" Recovery Girl then grabbed Zack's file from her lab coat. "From what I discovered from research on your quirk, is that they wanted to weaponize it into something dangerous and deadly."

"Tell me something we don't know." Said Zack sarcastically as he got a glare from Recovery Girl. "Sorry, a little leftover sass, please continue." He said with a nervous smile.

"Like I was saying, we know that your quirk was made to be a weapon, but, they also wanted you to last." She said continuing her explanation.

"So I have some sort of Fountain of Youth virus?" He asked.

"Not exactly." Said Chiyo. "It's more like they altered the genes in your DNA to slow your age."

"So, he is still growing, just very slowly?" Asked Nezu.

"Yes, and it's not permanent." She said while she pointed at something in the file. "Zack's DNA is being held in place by a part of his quirk he hasn't unlocked." Nezu nodded while Zack was still trying to process what Chiyo said.

"I'm lost, what does that last part mean?" Asked Zack.

"What I believe Recovery Girl is trying to say is that a part of you or rather your quirk is trying to make you stronger, but, to do so you need to use it." Explained Nezu.

"But, I am!" Exclaimed Zack as he stood up. "I have been training with Nana, Grand Torino, Eraserhead, Present Mic, and other heroes you got to train me when they can, you even got Miriko to train me and she doesn't team up with anyone! So how am I not using all of my quirks!?"

"Zack, quirks are still a mystery to all of us, and we're still learning so much about them." Said Nezu as he got out of his chair and walked over to Zack. "Your quirk Zack is special, it's like One for All."

"It is?" He questioned Nezu.

"Yes, however instead of gain quirks from other users, yours is making them at will." Answered Nezu.

"…I'm sorry this sounds more like All for One than One for All or better yet both of them together." Replied Zack with some more annoyance.

"Ah, yes, I guess it does." Said Nezu. 'These people, were they trying to create a dual quirk of All for One and One for All, or were they…" He thought to be interrupted by Zack snapping his fingers.

"You alright?" Asked Zack with genuine concern.

"Oh yes, don't worry about Zack." Said Nezu as he looked at his watch. "Oh look at the time, aren't you suppose to be training with Aizawa right now?" Zack took out his phone to check the time.

"Oh shit, I do, he's going to kick my ass if I'm any later!" Shouted Zack as he shot out of the chair.

"Look at it this way, at least he can't expel you." Said Nezu with a grin.

"Don't tempt fate for me, Nezu." Said Zack as he left the room.

'End of Flashback'

Zack then put his hands together and started humming. As he was doing this a hand touched his shoulder.

"Well, aren't you stressed out." Said a woman. Zack opened an eye to see Midnight standing next to him.

"Hello, Midnight, can I help you with something? He asked as he continued meditating.

"Oh, I don't need anything, but it looks like you do." She said getting closer to his ear. "Maybe, we should take this stress into my room and put it up to good use." She said with a smirk. Zack's eye's then shot open with a blush on his face.

"I, I, I don't know if it needs, attention like that!" He stuttered getting a chuckle out of Midnight.

"I was just joking with you, Zack." Said Midnight with a smile.

'Somehow I doubt that.' Thought Zack with a sweat drop coming down his forehead. "Well, jokes aside, what do you need?" He asked.

"…Did you forget what day it is?" She asked.

"It's Monday?" He answered with doubt.

"And what are you doing on Mondays? She asked with an annoyed look on her face.

"…Oh fu…, it's my quirk training day with you, isn't it. He answered.

"Yup, I was wondering what was taking you so long to arrive at Gym Gamma, and low and behold your were reading books rather than hanging out with your favorite number two pro heroine." Said Midnight as she put her lip into a pout. Zack froze at what she said.

"Uh, what are you talking about?" He embarrassingly asked.

"Oh, I think you do." She said with a smile. "It's that book of pictures of the 'top 10 pro heroines,' from Miriko to Pop Step, it quite the impressive collection."

"…What is it going to take for you to forget about, said book?" Asked Zack who's face was glowing red from cheek to cheek.

"Oh how about an outing, just you and me, at the mall?" She asked.

'Yeah, no that's more punishment for me than relaxation from anxiety.' Thought Zack. "How about I take you to a movie or that restaurant you've been wanting to go to?"

"Oh, that does sound nice." She said with a smile. "I get to dress up in my most stunning dresses and while you and me, dining underneath the moonlight." She said getting closer to him.

"O, okay, new deal, how about I help you score your 3rd-year student's schoolwork for the month and you get to relax at a spa or shop till you drop?" He asked.

"Deal." She said with a smile. As she walked away the pile of books started to wobble. "Oh, Zack…. BANG, OW! Shouted Midnight as the books fell on top of him.

"Yeah?" He asked as he got out from the pile of books.

"You have hero training with Miriko right? She asked.

"Yeah, can you send her a text I'll be late?" Asked Zack as he brushed himself off. "I got to deal with this."

"Anything for one of my fans." She said with a wink as she walked off. Zack looked at the pile of books around him and sighed.

"Miriko, going to kill me when I arrive late." He said as he started to pick up the books. "However, that'll have to wait because I have to kill Nezu before she kills me."

Meanwhile in an alleyway in Hiroshima

"Yes, I have been looking for new members." Said Mach tapping his foot against the wall as he was talking into a phone.

"Then have you found anything?" Asked a man's voice.

"Not yet, Priest." He said as he looked to the sides of the alleyway for any passing police officers or pro-heroes. "Those who I have spoken to are not interested or think were a waste of our time."

"And what about those who wanted to know more about us and refused?" Asked Priest.

"Is that a trick question?" Asked Mach as he slid his left foot on the ground as blood and chunks of flesh came off. "Cause it's not a good one."

"I know." Answered Priest. "But, someone's got to make sure you're doing your job right," Mach grunted at that last bit of information.

"I'm sorry, who has been working with The True Devils for 12 years from age 22 to age 34." He said with annoyance. "And you're telling me how to do my job when you have only been in this group for 6 years. Tell me who here has more experience?"

"I was just trying to be helpful to you ass." Replied Priest. "We've seen how you get when you're 'in the flow' as you put it."

"Is it a crime to do my best for this group?" He asked.

"We all have ways to do things that help our group." Said Priest. "You just tend to go overboard." He then ended the call.

"Hello, hello?" Asked Mach. "Pfft, what's he know he's just a noob to this." He then started to take a walk down the alley. He then suddenly bumped into someone. "Hey, watch it!" He exclaimed at the person he walked into. He then started to walk again, but, the person grabbed his shoulder.

"Hold on, why are you in this alleyway?" Asked the person. Mach then turned around and looked at the person, he then had an eyebrow raised at them.

"I have a better question, why do you look like a native American?" He asked. "Lose a bet?"

The person had an irritated look on his face at Mach's comment. "My name is Native, I'm a pro hero." Answered Native. Despite what Mach just heard he kept a chill composure.

"Oh, that explains the ridiculous get-up." Said Mach as he chuckled. "Never really understood why you guys wear costumes, especially, when the news always shows you people on the news or magazines." Native watched as Mach just started to walk from side to side. "I mean what's the purpose of a hero costume, they don't do anything special."

"That's not true, some are designed with special tech and fibers to help with quirks… wait I'm the one asking questions here why are you in this alleyway!? Said Native as he got undistracted by Mach's question.

"…Walking?" He answered with an annoyed look on his face. "What did you think I was a drug dealer?"

"Actually, yes." Said Native. "There has been high drug active here as of late, it's dangerous for anyone to be walking these alleyways alone."

"You don't have to worry about me." Said Mach. "My quirk is my drug." He said with a bit of a maniac grin. Native backed away for a second from Mach's look.

"Sir, do you need help? I can send you to a quirk specialist and they can find a way for you to control your quirk." Offered Native. Mach then started to laugh.

"Oh, where the hell was the support I needed when my teachers and classmates thought I was a monster!" He exclaimed as he continued to laugh.

"Sir, hold on let me call 110, they can help with any… UGH! Said Native as Mach choke slammed him against the wall. 'How did he get in front of me so fast!? Is this his quirk?'

"If there is one thing I hate more than heroes, it's the police." Said Mach with angst. "They didn't listen to me when I pleaded with them when I was twelve. Hell, the hero that questioned me didn't listen to me either because the police had more proof of me being a threat than an innocent scared twelve-year-old boy!" As Mach was talking to Native, he started to bash his fists into Mach, but, he didn't feel a thing. In fact, the only one who was getting hurt was Native, his knuckles bleeding and his breath getting short. "SO, MR. NATIVE WHAT MAKES YOU THINK I'M GOING TO LISTEN TO A DAMN THING YOU SAY! WHAT MAKES YOU BETTER THEN THOSE POLICE BASTARDS BECAUSE TO ME YOU 'HEROES ARE A BUNCH OF CORRUPT HYPOCTICS LIKE THOS DAMN POLICE A… oh wait, you're not even listening anymore." Yelled Mach as he then realized Native was listening anymore wiping the blood off his hand. He then opened his phone and called someone. "Hey police, I just found a body, it's a hero. Yeah, a Hero Killer killing." He said with a grin.

Hey guys sorry, this took so long, it may take some time for part 3 (the finale part of the prologue) because it's going to be as long as this one. Another thing I want to point out in case anyone got confused is that since All Might didn't get hurt by All for One he never met Recovery Girl or Detective Tsukachi. I will say, well maybe it's best that I don't say anything actually better to keep you in wait. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed part 2 and stay safe out there and have a great holiday, see you later.
