Day 6
***TONY'S MESSAGE RECORDINGS TO PEPPER***
[Click, whirr]
Hey, Pep. It's me again, talking into this busted-up Iron Man helmet like it's my lifeline. Well, in a way, it kinda is. Day 6, and things are looking... well, bleak. But you know me, always the optimist.
[Static crackling, followed by a sigh]
Last night was a doozy. Riku, Aqua, Nebula, and I decided to drown our sorrows in a couple of bottles of Space Whiskey. Let me tell you, that stuff could knock The Hulk off he's feet. We laughed, we reminisced, and for a moment, it felt like we weren't stranded in the cold void of space. But reality has a way of slapping you back to your senses.
[Static buzzing, interrupted by a clinking sound]
Ah, damn helmet. I think it's seen better days. Note to self: add "get a helmet upgrade" to the post-apocalyptic to-do list.
Anyway, back to the not-so-fun stuff. Our food and water rations are running dangerously low, and don't even get me started on the oxygen situation. We're inhaling more carbon dioxide than fresh air at this point. The Power Cells are still cracked, and as much as we tried to push the Benatar to go faster, all we got was a weird screeching sound that made my eardrums wish for a swift death. We're running on fumes, Pep. Literal and metaphorical fumes.
[Silence, broken by a heavy sigh]
But here's the thing, Pep. We keep going. We don't stop. We fight. Because that's what heroes do, right? And you know me, always the hero. Even when the odds are stacked against us, we find a way to keep moving forward.
[Static crackling, followed by a muffled chuckle]
And hey, if by some miracle I survive this mess and you're still out there, alive and kicking, I've got a plan. Picture this: a cozy log cabin, tucked away in the middle of nowhere. No suits, no Avengers, just you and me, living the simple life. Maybe we can even grow some of those damn strawberries you've been wanting. How's that for a post-apocalyptic dream?
[Static buzzing, fading into silence]
I love you, Pepper. Always have, always will. Hang in there, okay? We're gonna find a way out of this. And when we do, we'll rebuild, we'll heal, and we'll make sure this world is a place worth fighting for.
[Click, whirr, as the helmet powers down]
***KAIRI'S JOURNAL ENTRY***
Dear Journal,
Today was another tough day down here on Earth. We're still stranded, still without contact from our friends out there. Rocket is tirelessly working on reverse engineering Goofy's GummiPhone, but so far, no luck in reaching anyone. We've tried reaching out to other worlds, but it's as if the whole universe has gone silent.
But amidst the struggle, there was a glimmer of hope today. I was granted permission to visit the New York Sanctum in search of Wong. Unfortunately, he wasn't there, but a note left behind reassured us that he's busy at Kamar Taj, dealing with the crisis caused by Thanos. I'm relieved to know he's safe, but I can't help but feel a pang of longing to hear from Stephen, my mentor, and friend.
As I wandered through the Sanctum, memories of Doctor Strange saving me from the depths of limbo flooded back. I can't help but think of Sora and where he might be during all of this. I hope with all my heart that he's safe and will find his way back to us soon. His light and strength are needed now more than ever.
Returning to Avengers HQ, I found Steve, Nat, Goofy, and Bruce working alongside representatives from different nations, using holograms to track the missing people. The nations are urging Steve and the team to do whatever it takes to locate Thanos. Bruce suggests using satellite scans to detect any traces of gamma radiation from the Infinity Stones, hoping it could lead us to Thanos' whereabouts.
As the day turned into night, Steve gathered the group (Nat, Bruce, Rhodey, Valkyrie, Rocket, Goofy, and me) for some much-needed team building. Despite the dire circumstances, we all shared moments of laughter and camaraderie. Goofy told us about his unforgettable road trip with his son, bringing smiles to our faces. Each of us shared stories from our past adventures.
When it was my turn, I shared the story of how Sora saved me from the clutches of darkness when I was lost and alone. I spoke of his courage and selflessness, and how he fought bravely to protect not just me but all the Princesses of Heart from the darkness within Ansem. The team listened attentively, inspired by the strength of our friendship and the sacrifices we've made for each other.
As I finish writing this entry, I can't help but feel a sense of hope in my heart. We may be facing unimaginable challenges, but we have each other. Together, we are a team capable of overcoming any obstacle. The story I told about Sora's sacrifice to save me is a reminder that our bond is unbreakable. No matter how dark the night may seem, our light will guide us through.
Tomorrow is a new day, and we'll continue to fight, to search, and to believe that we can make a difference. As long as we stay united and hold on to hope, we will find a way to bring back our loved ones and restore balance to the universe.
With unwavering determination, Kair
***THANOS' THOUGHTS***
I watched the sun rise on this new world, The Garden, feeling the effects of the stones' power and the lingering pain from the Asgardian's axe piercing my chest. The physical toll is great, but I endure. The work is done, and now I can bask in the tranquility of a grateful universe.
Yet, this morning, I was visited by an old face from my past, a wandering spirit by the name of Master Xehanort. He asked me what it had cost, and I replied, "Everything." Xehanort's spirit tormented me with questions, warning me that those who couldn't accept the outcome of my actions would seek to hunt me down and end me. But I have come to terms with my fate and the destiny I have fulfilled.
I recall my encounter with the Mouse King, who defied death itself to give me a formidable fight on Vormir. I must admit, he has earned my respect. And then there was Stark, our remarkable encounter on Titan. I hold a great deal of respect for him, and I wonder if he managed to survive our battle.
The Keyblade Warriors, too, left an impression. I remember years ago fighting a Keyblade Master named Eraqus, a stubborn and persistent Keyblade Master, much like Xehanort himself. While our ideologies clashed, I respected his unwavering determination. And the Keyblade wielder I fought on Earth, she possessed a fighting spirit that would have made her a formidable daughter.
I am prepared for whatever may come my way. I have fulfilled my destiny, and this universe should be grateful for the balance I have restored. I am ready to face any who would challenge me, for I have accepted the consequences of my actions and stand firm in my beliefs.
***AQUA'S DIARY ENTRY***
Dearest Diary,
Today has been a challenging day. The effects of the Space Whiskey are still lingering, leaving me feeling a bit fuzzy-headed this morning. I can't help but chuckle at the embarrassing stories we shared last night, especially the time I accidentally healed an enemy. Ven and Terra never let me live that down, but it was all in good fun. Oh, how I miss those days when we trained together under Master Eraqus. I wonder what he would make of this chaos that has befallen the worlds.
However, the reality of our situation quickly sobered my spirits. Food and water supplies are running dangerously low. Tony estimates that we have only two days left, tops, before we exhaust our resources completely. To make matters worse, the power cells of the ship are giving us trouble. Accelerating the Benatar causes unsettling vibrations and strange sounds emanating from the engine. It's a constant battle for Riku and Tony to keep the power cells intact and prevent further damage.
At times, I feel somewhat redundant in the face of such technical challenges. But Tony, in his own way, reassures me that my spirit and light keep the team going. It's a comforting thought amidst the bleakness that surrounds us. I can't help but worry about our friends scattered across the many worlds. Are they safe? Are they facing the same desperation as we are? The daunting reality of drifting through space until our inevitable end feels all too plausible now.
I must admit, though, that hearing Tony's recorded messages to Pepper brings a touch of sweetness to these dark times. Their love for each other is undeniable, and I can only hope that Tony will get the chance to see her again. There must be a way out of this mess. If it's not us, then I have faith that new heroes and warriors will rise to face Thanos and restore balance to the universe.

***CAROL DANVERS CAPTAIN'S LOG***
Captain's Log - Terran Date: 3rd May 2018
Traveling through deep space in this basic Gummiship feels like a snail's pace compared to my usual speeds. We're still about 12-24 hours away from Radiant Garden, and the lack of warp drive function on this hunk of junk is really making me appreciate the value of speed. But I have to say, deep space does have its own kind of quiet beauty. It's serene out here, with the absence of enemy crafts and the aftermath of the universal events.
Jiminy Cricket has been good company during this long journey. We've spent hours talking about our past adventures and he's been sharing stories about a young warrior named Sora from the Destiny Islands. It's fascinating to hear about the journeys and battles they've faced. When Jiminy mentioned the Destiny Islands, it brought back memories of a powerful meteor shower over a decade ago. I recall saving a pod from crash landing onto the planet that night. I wonder where that infant child is now and if they are involved in all of this.
Jiminy also mentioned Sora teaming up with other Keyblade wielders like Aqua, Terra, and Ventus. I remember crossing paths with them on my own adventures years ago, especially Aqua. She was a formidable ally and a true warrior. I hope they're doing okay and alive amidst this chaos.
Speaking of encounters, Jiminy mentioned a recent crash landing in Traverse Town. As it turns out, that was my doing when I fought and defeated Sephiroth, who was causing trouble at the Olympic Colosseum. Jiminy seemed impressed by the mention of Sephiroth's defeat, and I couldn't help but flash a confident smile. It's always satisfying to put a stop to those who threaten innocent worlds.
As much as I enjoy these conversations and the company of Jiminy, I can't shake the feeling of urgency to get back to Earth and check on Fury. The lack of distress calls since the initial one leaves me feeling a bit out of the loop. I'll gain a better understanding of the situation once I'm back at Radiant Garden.
Captain Carol Danvers, signing off.
***THOR'S THOUGHTS***
As I traverse the vastness of the cosmos, I find myself drawn to worlds of my past in search of answers. Niflheim, Jotunheim, Sakaar... I have journeyed to these realms, hoping to find some clue that will shed light on the current crisis. Yet, at every turn, I am met with disappointment. The answers I seek elude me.
However, there have been some small victories amidst the bleakness. I learned that the Grandmaster has been overthrown on Sakaar, bringing a sense of justice to that chaotic world. Though it may be a small triumph, it gives me hope that even in the face of darkness, there is still the possibility for change.
Returning to Radiant Garden, I sought the counsel of the heroes gathered there - Yuffie, Even, and Ienzo. We discussed the possibility of seeking out a powerful sorcerer named Yen Sid, if he is indeed still alive. My father, Odin, spoke of this wizard and his mastery of magic and the Keyblade. It is said that Yen Sid resides in a tower connected to a world called Twilight Town.
Even, ever the curious scientist, expressed interest in studying my weapon and the power of the Bifrost once this crisis subsided. With Merlin gone, the ability to travel through portals has become a struggle. I assured him that we will have that conversation once we have rectified the actions of Thanos and restored balance to the universe.
Yuffie informed me of Yen Sid's whereabouts and how to reach him. With a surge of lightning and a crack of thunder, I used the power of the Bifrost to transport myself to Twilight Town, embarking on my search for the powerful sorcerer.
As I arrived in Twilight Town, a world filled with an enchanting beauty, I couldn't help but sense an undercurrent of sadness and loss. The effects of Thanos' actions had reached even this tranquil place, leaving its mark on the hearts of its inhabitants.
Spotting a cozy bistro nearby, I made my way inside, hoping to gather information and find directions to Yen Sid's tower. To my surprise, I found myself in the company of an elderly duck and a teenage girl enjoying a quiet moment together, savoring their ice cream. They introduced themselves as Scrooge and Olette.
In our conversation, they shared their own stories of loss and grief. Scrooge spoke of the little chef he had lost, while Olette mentioned the disappearances of her friends Pence and Hayner. It was evident that the weight of these losses weighed heavily on their hearts.
Scrooge, being the astute businessman that he is, recognized me as the God of Thunder and expressed his admiration. I couldn't help but appreciate having fans in such troubled times, and I thanked him for his kind words.
I explained to Scrooge and Olette that I had come to find Yen Sid, hoping to seek his wisdom and guidance. However, the news they shared with me was disheartening. Yen Sid had also perished, and Olette mentioned that her friend Lea had witnessed it firsthand.
Curiosity piqued, I inquired about Lea's whereabouts, hoping to find a potential ally in my quest for answers. Olette informed me that the last she had heard, Lea was determined to leave Twilight Town and seek his own path to uncover the truth.
Expressing my gratitude to Scrooge and Olette for their assistance, I assured them that I would do everything in my power to make things right. With renewed determination, I left the bistro, ready to continue my search for answers and aid those affected by the devastation caused by Thanos.
Thor Odinson, God of Thunder, continuing my quest for knowledge and hope in the face of uncertainty.
***ROCKET'S ACCOUNT***
Another day stuck on this godforsaken planet they call Earth. It's been six long days of tinkering with this primitive Gummiphone, trying to reverse engineer the damn thing. Let me tell you, it's a pain in the ass. Without my proper tools and equipment, I'm working with basic hummie gear. Tedious doesn't even begin to describe it.
You know what else is really grinding my gears? Thor. Big, blonde and brooding. Hasn't been seen in days. And you know what he could have done? He could have used that fancy Bifrost of his to whisk me away from this godforsaken planet. But no, he's off somewhere in the cosmos, probably having a hissy fit or trying to impress some aliens with his mighty axe. Typical.
Losing to Thanos still stings. Seeing Groot disappear right before my eyes... It was devastating. I hope my fellow Guardians, Quill, Drax, Gamora, and Mantis, are holding up alright wherever they are. And Nebula, too. Can't believe I'm saying this, but I hope she's okay.
But you know what? Steve and the rest of the Avengers have taken me in, and I gotta say, I'm humbled. Working with Goofy and Kairi has been surprisingly great. They may not have the same firepower as the Guardians, but they've got heart. And that warms my small, cold heart, believe it or not.
Tomorrow, it's back to completing search and rescue missions. Who knows what we'll come across? It's a chaotic world out there, and it's up to us to make a difference. So, here's to another day of fighting against the odds and hoping that, maybe, just maybe, things will start to make sense again.
