To those who know this. Then you all know what this is about. This all takes place after the events of "Spell Luck" Where we now see how the lives of the former louds are, as they soon become something they did not expect to see coming, a hero group known as the Royal Defenders. This was originally made on 6/25/2019.

1068. Ch1,068: The Match Begins!

Alright, so now is the time to make their arrival and prepare for the battle to come, well the tankery match and see who will win the prize for this epic first ever FutureTech Funds Tankery Match. But, there will be some silly antics going around, and it will involve a certain loader from one of the schools. Enjoy reading this crossover chapter everyone.

Chapter 1,068: The Match begins!

(Somewhere not too far from Japan.)

Within the world of Girls und Panzer, a massive portal opens and coming through from the other world, is none other than the Royal Fortress and it is not too far from the mainland of Japan, and far from the large battle platform is an Aircraft Carrier School, Zuikaku. The ship of Ooarai.

On Ooarai, Anzu, Miho, Yukari, Hana, and Momo spot the large vessel using binoculars and they are surprised. "Wow, is that even a ship?" asked Hana. "It looks more advanced or more like five school carriers attached to each other."

Momo zooms in her binoculars to see what is going on. "There is a lot of military activity on that thing, there are naval and air force onboard, and some advanced technology being prepared and maintained and there are some tanks."

"Wait, really?!" Yukari sees with her binoculars and she is confused at what she sees. "Huh? Those tanks, I have never ever seen those types before. They look kinda advanced, and more futuristic for modern warfare."

Miho nods. "Yeah, seems like it and... Wait, there." they spot some tanks, tanks which they know and they see the folks who are going to operate them. "I see, a Tiger 1, a T-34 with an 85 millimeter gun, a Sherman Tank, a Panther tank and a Comet Tank. Almost looks like what we have faced from the other schools, but the Comet Tank, I don't think we have faced one before."

Yukari then explains. "The Comet Tank, also known as the Comet 1 A34 Cruiser Tank, is one of the most remarkable and well-rounded tanks that the British forces made during World War 2. It acted as infantry support vehicles, but is also known to go head to head against other tanks and come out on top. They rarely get taken out, due to their speed and durable armour. They're firepower is incredible and some dubbed them as heavy tanks than cruiser tanks."

"This is gonna be a rough fight, some of the team mates there are grownup, and some seem out of High School already" replied Anzu, and she eats a dried sweet potato snack from the bag.

"The letter did say that we would be facing veterans, and one of them looks like an officer" replied Hana. They all spot the guy in his German officer's uniform, kinda like the Wehrmacht Officers from World War 2, during the North Africa Campaign.

"Wow! He almost looks like General Rommel" replied Yukari.

"This fight might not be easy to deal or get through, but we have to try and win this" replied Momo.

Miho can see that this is serious, she then stops what she is doing and she looks to her friend. "Alright, Yukari Akiyama. You ready to do this again?"

Yukari looks to the others and she salutes and has her bag. "Just leave it to me, Yukari Akiyama is on the job!"

(Later.)

We see Yukari Akiyama, and she is dressed as an employee on one of the convenient store/grocery store cargo ship, and she makes sure she is prepared for what she has to do. She then checks her backpack. 'Alright, got my camera and... Well, that's just about it. Oh, and my specially made I.D, thank you Sodoko.' she then hears the horn of the ship, and she comes out from hiding and she is amazed by what she sees. "Whoa!"

Yukari sees, the Royal Fortress is gigantic than it was from a distance and she is amazed. The Grocery Store Vessel stops at one of the lower ports, and they load up some new cargo and products which FutureTech is providing, and this is her chance. Yukari sneaks off, and she manages to get the slip past some guards. She then goes inside, and she sees an elevator, and so she goes inside.

Yukari stops and sees so many buttons, but then she pushes the one which reaches the top and the elevator moves fast going upwards. Yukari holds on, and is shocked at how fast this is going, but then it stops and she almost falls. "Wow! That was like, an amusement park ride! Woohoo!" She then gets off as soon as the doors open, and she has her camera ready.

Yukari steps out and she is surprised by everything she sees. "Wow! This place is so... Amazing- Whoa!" she steps back as a Steel Ronin passes by, and some Sickle Walkers. "This place is so advanced and so incredible." She then spots some tanks, all lined up and being cleaned. "Whoa, those tanks look so amazing and cool." she has her camera ready. "But, I wonder what kind are they."

"Hey there." she then sees Boomer, and he is half oblivious about her presence. "You asking about what kind of tanks these are?"

Yukari feels nervous, but she tries to play along and pretend. "Yeah, I am. I'm new here, and I don't know what kind of vehicles these things are. Can you explain?"

Boomer nods. "Sure thing. So, these are Hammer Tanks, the main battle Tank of the Soviets during the War of the Three Powers, and they can switch from their main gun to their leech beam, and the leech beam rips enemy armour and attached to the Hammer Tank for repair, but it also steals the main weapon of the enemy vehicle to add to the left side, giving the Hammer Tank a secondary weapon."

"Then we have the Guardian Tank. This tank was built by the British and played a major role in the War of the Three Powers, and have powerful main guns and great speed. They can switch from their main cannon to their targeting beam, to help other friendly forces focus their fire and track down the weak spot of the enemy vehicle, or structure."

"Then we have the Tsunami Tank. This bad boy was made by the Japanese, and is sworn to the art of combat and charging into the Frey. They are amphibious, hence the name and use their rapid fire cannons which are kinda weak. They can shut down their main gun, and turn on their nano generators to increase movement speed, and activate a nano armour barrier."

"We have the Battlemaster Tank. A powerful main battle tank that the Chinese used, and it can be armed with Depleted uranium shells and modified with a Nuclear Core reactor to increase speed and firing rate and even autoloaders to speed up attacks and radiation stabilizers to prevent radiation from leaking out after it's destroyed. They get pretty dangerous when they're in numbers."

"Then we have the Paladin Tank, a strong Tank built by the United States of America and has one strong cannon and a tough and polished armour. It has a special laser system to destroy enemy missiles, and can be modified with stronger field armour and can be upgraded with a battle drone, or recon drone or even a Hellfire Drone. These Tanks are dangerous on their own."

"Then we have the Scorpion Tank, from the Global Liberation Army and most are recycled Sherman Tanks and T-34 Tanks from World War 2. They have short guns, and are more like light tanks but are effective in numbers. They can be equipped with stinger missiles and modified for junk repair salvage operations, or even Anthrax chemical shells to melt and kill infantry."

Yukari remains silent hearing this and almost terrified about what these tanks can do. Boomer then realizes. "Wait, what's your department here on the Royal Fortress kid? Also, why aren't you reporting to the FutureTech CEO? And, why are you wearing that tacky grocery store employee's uniform?"

Yukari realizes, the guy is now aware of what is happening and she makes a run for it, but she bumps into Luna and she enters her Luna Frost mode. "Alright, kid. Who the hell are you and what are you doing on our ship?"

Then Lincoln arrives, and then Sergei on his T-34, and Peter Sharp, Linka and Ember. "Looks like someone from one of the Aircraft Carrier Schools is here to spy on us..." replied Linka. "Again."

Yukari is now scared, but then she is surprised by what they said. "Wait, again? What do you mean again?" But then she is handcuffed, and then Sam Livewire helps her up. "W-Wait, what are you doing?"

She then brings her to another part of the area, and she has her sit down on a bench, and Yukari sees some others with her, and they are also students, but from the other schools!

From Kuromorimine, Pravda who is a member of the KV-2 Team, Anzio, and Chi-Ha-Tan student from Fukura's team and... Wait, is that Vice Commander Alisa from Saunders High School? Also, is she wearing a fake mustache and glasses and a ball cut wig?

Yukari now sees, they are also trying to spy here, but then got caught. 'Wow, they all tried the same thing and failed doing so.' She is about to calm down the others, but then they see someone arrive, and in a German Officers uniform that makes him intimidating, and it is Leon Davion Spellman.

He is so intimidating, that the student spy from Kuromorimine is startled seeing him. Stella then asks. "So, what do we do with them commander?"

Now that surprises the girls, this guy is the commander of the team on this base. Leon thinks about this and then he smirks and speaks with a German accent. "Well, there are three ways this can go down. We could have them line up against the wall, and gun them down."

That makes them nervous and wide eyed.

"We could just put them into the main guns to one of the Shogun Battleships and see how far they fly."

That scares them more, and they are starting to sweat and have tears.

"Or, we feed them to that thing." The Indominus Rex Gen 2, walks by and looks to the girls and growls.

Now that is the turning point, and they start to cry and beg for them not to, and that they won't spy on them again, Yukari tries to be brave, and she sees one of them goes through her bag. "Hey, wait. Don't go in there..."

Jordan pulls out a camera, a book on tankery and something shocking. "Wait, is this a World War 2 German Grenade?!" Seeing that, startles the other girls and they look towards Yukari, and now they question what is wrong with her and why she brought that with her.

This also makes Alisa scared, since Yukari spied on their school of Saunders once, and now she wonders if she brought the same thing during that time.

Leon sees the explosive and he puts it back and then he hands the bag back to Yukari. "Do not fear, girls. We will not kill you, I am just messing with the rest of you." This makes them sigh in relief, but some of them still have tears. "Now, we're gonna send you all to the nearest Aircraft Carrier, someone bring me a dingy."

(Moments later.)

The girls who spied on them are tied together and in the middle of this wooden dingy boat, and Sergei pushes it away from them. "Da svidaniya." But then he sees that they are moving slow. "Oh, right. Sorry." He pushes a button, and the motor on the boat starts and is headed for the aircraft carrier, Ooarai.

The girls are all relieved that this is all over and they don't need to do this anymore, but Yukari seems determined. 'So, that guy is their commander? He looks like a veteran, this is gonna be tough and I don't have much Intel on them, but some of their members seem odd, and strange.'

The others watch this onboard the Royal Fortress and then they go back to their tanks, and then Leon has another thing to say. "Alright, so the whole thing ignites when tomorrow comes, but once the battle starts I am going to be in a Tank commander mode, and will be speaking in German language, so sorry if that shit happens."

Peter Sharp now sees why. "Oh, and that's why you chose me, Sergei, Lincoln and Martin as the commanders of the other tanks, because we understand what you're saying."

Lincoln smirks. "Yeah, I have been doing some study in German language, and it started during the many times we went on missions and Leon would speak German when he uses his Tiger Tank. That makes total sense."

Sergei then speaks in Russian. "Togda prikhodite zavtra, my posmotrim, chto eti deti mogut sdelat'."

Leon nods and speaks in German. "Wir werden sehen, wie geschickt sie als Tankery-Spieler sind und wie taktisch sie sein können." They all nod and check on their tanks and the ammo which is going to be harmless but still crushing enough to knock a tank out. Leon is concerned about one thing though.

'The last name, Nishizumi... Now that is going to be very interesting to face, and both are daughters of a woman who has made a professional style in Tankery, the Nishizumi Style. This will be challenging.'

(Back on Ooarai.)

The students are all here, well the girls from the other schools who were trying to spy and they are all given blankets and comforted after the ordeal they went through from being caught, and they are even handed some food to enjoy while they wait for transport to bring them back to their respective Carriers.

Yukari then explains to the others about what they encountered. "They have tanks that are part of a war which we have never even heard of, and they seem to be odd and some seem to be gifted with powers and such, and I doubt they will use their special enhancements in the match tomorrow, but their commander is the one who seems like a total powerhouse and danger zone."

Miho nods, and she recalls what Yukari explained. "A guy dressed in a German uniform? That is odd, and strange, but I think we can try and figure something out on how to beat them, even though we don't know their tactics and how they're gonna be handling a lot of schools for tomorrow's match."

Momo then speaks. "But they have five tanks, and that should at least give us the cutting edge to try and beat them, right?"

"She has a point there" replied Yuzu.

"But we need to be careful and expect the unexpected" replied Saori. "I mean, they sound kinda strong, and have a mix of different tanks, and all based from the Second World War."

Miho nods. "Then we prepare for training later, and come tomorrow we need to be ready." she then sees the girls from the other schools still here and waiting, and then she asks Anzu. "When will their rides come here and bring them back?"

Anzu recalls. "In about fifteen minutes, why?"

Miho nods, and she goes to the girls who look to her. "Girls, I am sorry that you all got caught and scared from spying the other team, but I think I have a plan on how we can beat the new opponents when tomorrow comes. So, I have a special message that you should send back to your commanders, got it?"

They are surprised, and confused to hear this, but then they shake away their concerns and fear, and have determination and nod. Miho then looks to the Student Council members. "Girls, can you also send a message to St. Gloriana and the All-Star University Teams? They need to know about this, because I don't think a Self-Propelled Artillery Tank is gonna be enough to face what we're gonna deal with tomorrow."

(The following day.)

The horns are sounding, the announcements have been made as we are on the mainland of japan, and folks at the bleachers far from the battle are seeing this from giant main screens, which are provided by FutureTech and there are so many people who have come to see this.

We even see Mako's grandmother, Hana's mother and their assistant, and of course, Yukari's parents. The two heads of Senshado are here, one of Nishizumi and the other of Shimada and they are: Shiho Nishizumi and Chiyo Shimada.

The whole place is also filled with Burst Drones, and these guys will be observing everything happening in this world and broadcasting it to the other dimensions which they know, which means Royal Woods, Great Lakes City and the rest of the world will see this special and epic sport. Even in the Koprulu Sector, and Sith Lord Hollow's location will be seeing this broadcast as well.

The Guardian Gyro watches this along with the members of the Federation, and he brought someone else to come and watch this, he is the guy who trains the two ninja's of Norrisville, the guardian of that world, the Shinobi.

They see what is happening, and we go to where the teams are meeting and we only see the three judges, and Ami Chōno member of the Strengthening Committee, High School League instructor, referee, and match announcer.

We do see the FutureTech team is here, and they are the commanders of their own tanks: Leon, Lincoln, Sergei, Martin and Peter, while the rest of their team is behind them with their tanks. Tiger Tank, Panther Tank, T-34 85, Comet Tank and Sherman Tank. They then check the time.

"Alright, so where the heck are they?" asked Linka.

Luna and Sam then hear something off. "Hey, you guys hear this theme music?"

They all look to them and are confused by what they just said. "What?"

Then they see the next team has come, and they are a large team composed of 1 Tiger Tank, 2 King Tigers, 4 Panther Tanks, 2 Panzer III's, 2 Jagdpanthers, 2 Jagdpanzers, 1 Jagdtiger, and 1 Elefant Tank Destroyer. The Maus is someplace else, and waiting. They are led by Miho Nishizumi and for some reason Luna and Sam, can hear this German Song.

Then they see another team show up and they are Saunders, and they are... Well, a lot of Sherman Tanks. 6 Sherman Tanks, 1 Easy Eight Sherman and 1 Sherman Firefly, and led by Commander Kay.

I have seen Him in the watch-fires of a hundred circling camps.

They have built'd Him an altar in the evening dews and damps.

I can read His righteous sentence by the dim and flaring lamps.

His day is marching on.

The next team arrives and they are from Pravda, and they are composed of several T-34 medium Tanks, an IS-2 Heavy Tank and 1 KV-2 Heavy Tank. Led by Commander Lady Katyusha and she has determination in her, but she seems to be using some hand puppetry to signal the others.

Then another team shows up from St. Gloriana, and they are composed of 4 Matilda Heavy Tanks, 4 Crusader Light Tanks and 1 Churchill Heavy Tank, and leading them and also drinking tea is Commander Darjeeling.

Some talk of Alexander, and some of Hercules.

Of Hector and Lysander, and such great names as these.

But of all the worlds' brave heroes, there's none that can compare.

With a tow, row, row, row, row, row, to the British Grenadiers.

Another team is here from Anzio, and traveling with speed and determination as they're Commander Duce Anchovy yells. "Avanti!" And her tanks are composed of: 1 Carro Armato P26/40, 4 Semovente da 75/18 and 8 Carro Veloce Tanks.

Jammo, jammo 'ncoppa, jammo jà

But from a distance they see, a single Tank and it's from Jatkasota High School, the tank is a BT-42 and is led by their commander Mika, and her other team mates Aki and Mikko. But they are not here to fight, no they will be watching from outside the match in their tank, and to just observe what is happening. Yeah, this is what they sometimes do and it is kinda weird.

And then, the next team shows up, from Chi-Ha-Tan and wow! They have a lot of tanks, a total of 22 tanks: Type 97 Chi-Ha, Type 97 Shinhoto Chi-Ha, and Type 95 Ha-Go and Type 2 Ka-Mi. Led by Commander Nishi.

Then they see the team, from Ooarai Women's Academy, and led by Miho Nishizumi and her team composed of: The Angler Team - Panzer IV, The Turtle Team - Jagdpanzer 38(t) Hetzer, The Duck Team - Japanese Type 89B I-Go, The Hippo Team - StuG III Ausf.F, The Rabbit Team - American M3 Lee, The Mallard Team - French Char B1 bis, The Anteater Team - Japanese Type 3 Chi-Nu and the Leopon Team – Porsche Tiger.

Luna and Sam hears this instrumental theme song in their head, and the theme song is called: Senshado March! Panzer Vor!

As soon as they all arrive, the next team comes in last for some reason, and they are the All-Star University Team, led by Alice Shimada and she is in her Centurion Mk.I (A41), accompanied by multiple M26 Pershings and M24 Chaffee. But the T28 Super Heavy Tank, might be someplace else for when the time is right, but it is unknown if the notorious Karl-Gerät 040 is in the area.

The teams show up, and then the Commanders and Vice Commander meet to see the others, and they all look to the FutureTech Commander Leon and his four Vice Commanders, and they notice they have only five tanks and Katyusha laughs from this.

Oh, another thing. Commander Lady Katyusha is short, and she is riding on the shoulders of Vice Commander Nonna.

Sergei doesn't seem keen on this little girl, and he speaks in Russian. "Chto, chert voz'mi, s toboy smeshnogo?"

Katyusha hears him use a different language and this intimidates her. "Why are you speaking in Russian?"

Sergei looks to Katyusha in the eyes, and she does the same as they glare at each other, and it looks like their eyes are getting closer... Well, Katyusha is butting heads and staring face to face with Sergei at point blank, and to help with this, Nonna leans forward so Katyusha's forehead is against Sergei's.

The others notice this and can see that this is going to get hairy real fast between those two. Sergei backs up, and so does Nonna with Katyusha. "We'll deal with you and make sure you know just how superior Pravda is and why I am commander."

Sergei scoffs hearing her speak and speaks back. "Davay, ty, malen'kiy nadoyedlivyy pank. Tol'ko. Prinosit'. Eto. Na."

The FutureTech Team look to Sergei, confused and Leon sighs. "Oh mein Gott, was zum Teufel ist los?"

Then Ami Chōno speaks. "Alright, everyone is here. The very first flag tank battle royale is about to begin, between the following schools from Ooarai, Kuromorimine, St. Gloriana, Saunders, Pravda, Anzio, Chi-Ha-Tan, the All-Stars University and the FutureTech team shall commence. Please bow."

They all do so, and speak. "Let's have a good match!"

They then report back to their tank and team mates, and they all depart from the area, and head to the positions where they have chosen to start, these locations have not been given to the others, and they have all been given maps on the layout of this battlefield, so they will need to traverse and find the enemy teams and take them down.

As this happens, we go to the Jatkasota Girls, who watch this from their observation truck with their Tank nearby. "Wow. This sure is a big one, and they all seem so determined and prepared. A shame we're not competing for this one" replied Aki. "Wait, why aren't we involved?"

Mika sits and has her eyes closed, and she tunes her instrument and makes a soothing rhythm. "This battle is not truly for us, for what the true tankery ideal is yet to come soon. Also, this new team might not understand what they are getting into, it seems right we see how this turns out and we observe for future outcomes."

Aki is confused, and Mikko is eating a cinnamon roll, and they continue to watch.

We go to each teams, located on different positions across this battlefield and they are all waiting for the signal.

Three large planes are in the air, and in each one are the judges who will be observing this whole thing, and the cameras are attached to see this as well. But they are accompanied by 2 BF109 Messerschmitt's, 2 P-42 Mustang's, 2 FU4 Corsairs and 2 Spitfires. They have cameras too, to see this whole match take place.

Then the referee announces on the loud speaker. "Match, start!" she fires her flare, and it blows into the air, signaling the other teams.

Maho Nishizumi. "Tanks, forward."

Kay. "All tanks, let's roll out!"

Darjeeling. "Let's move out now, please."

Anchovy. "Avanti!"

Katyusha. "All tanks, forward!"

Nishi. "All Tanks, advance!"

Alice Shimada. "Prepare to divide and conquer, move out."

Miho Nishizumi sees this and she speaks to the others. "Panzer Vor." the team from Ooarai moves out. The match has begun! Everyone cheers, and this is all starting to look good.

Leon sees the flare, and he looks to the others. "Okay, wir sind alle bereit." He then looks around. "An alle Panzer, lasst uns ausrücken." They all drive forward, and Leon smirks, and speaks to the others. "Ich möchte, dass alle vorsichtig sind, wir befinden uns auf einer Langstrecken-Kampfpatrouille."

Sergei then asks. "Otpravim tank na razvedku?"

"Nein, wir versenden nichts zur Aufklärung. Zu gefährlich" replied Leon. "Wir halten uns nicht an den Plan der Aufteilung, nicht bis …"then they get hit by something, but the rounds bounce. "Was zum Teufel?! Was zur Hölle war das?!"

Lincoln turns the turret and he sees it. "Japanese Tanks, they've seen us!"

"That would mean they picked up speed, and went into search and destroy mode!" said Peter Sharp. They're tanks then turn and face the enemy, and they prepare for what is to come.

The enemy tanks stop, and then their commander, Nishi calls out. "We have found the FutureTech team, now is the time to do what we do best! For the sake of honor, and our Chi-Ha-Tan spirit, Charge!"

The rest of the tanks also yell. "Charge!" Fukura doesn't seem keen on the same plan again, but she goes along with it. They all charge, towards the enemy.

Leon and the others see this and are confused.

"Is that the Chi-Ha-Tan Team?" asked Martin.

Leon. "Ja."

Peter Sharp. "Are they charging at us?"

Leon. "Ja."

Lincoln. "Should we take them out?"

Leon smirks and grins. "Sie verwenden eine Taktik, die nicht mehr funktioniert, wenn Sie keinen Plan haben. Außerdem ist dies nicht der 1. oder 2. Weltkrieg. Alle Panzer, holt einen nach dem anderen ab."

They all confirm and wait, all of them are locked, loaded and aimed. Leon then gives the word. "Fire!" All tanks open fire, and one by one the Chi-Ha-Tan team is knocked out, they're tanks hit on their sides, or a portion of their front and knocked over to their side.

White flags come out from their tanks small port holes, indicating that they are down, but commander Nishi is trying to evade, Gwen sees her tank on the turret scope, and she aims and shoots, the shot hits and Commander Nishi's Tank is knocked over to the side, and the white flag appears.

Then the announcement is made. "The Chi-Ha-Tan flag Tank, and the remainder of their tanks has been knocked out. Chi-Ha-Tan has been eliminated."

That announcement shocks the others, but some saw this coming since they know what Chi-Ha-Tan is all about, but the others are wondering if they even learned anything from their previous battles, that charging is never always the answer!

Leon grins and he opens the hatch. "Congratulations everyone. We took down our first enemy team, and we didn't even waste fuel to make tactical maneuvers. Now, everyone split up and track down the opposing teams and do what you do best!"

They all nod and the Vice Commander of the other tanks speak. "Got it/Solid Copy/You got it chief/ Podtverzhdennyy!" they drive away from Leon and track down the opposing school teams, Leon's Tiger Tank drives towards the wreckage of the Chi-Ha-Tan team and Commander Nishi sees the tank coming.

Leon looks to her as the tank stops. "Seriously? Not everything has to be about charging." He then speaks in German. "Vorauszahlung." The Tiger Tank drives off.
