Neb: I do not own Beyblade, Beyblade Burst, or any other titles of Beyblade. This is a fanfic staring my own OC Sin Venger. She has evolved Legend Spriggan into a Turbo Blade Halberd Spriggan.

Dread Tower, an area where Aiger Akabane had battled against Hyde and Phi and had lost his Achilles both being stolen and being broken. It is a place where the former Dark Prince reigns and his brother had taken over. Rumors have it that Hyde and Phi had given up blading after their defeat against the new Champion Aiger Akabane.

Sin however wanted to see for herself if a Legend as strong as Hyde has really thrown in the towel. But she has little understanding of who she'll be facing in her new trials. Sin headed into the tower and noticed a dark aura roaming through the air.

"So a new challenger arrives," spoke up a man with blue slick back hair. This man had a mad scientist demeanor about him.

"Your not Hyde," Sin spoke up.

"Hyde and Phi have retired from the game if that's what you are here about," the blue haired man explained. "After all their fight against each other and their quest for power lead them towards the destruction of their Beys.

"So Hades and Phoenix are destroyed?", Sin realized.

"Not quite," the blue haired man smiled. "They have merged together into Dread Phoenix. A powerful blade that was soon defeated by the new champion." He turned towards a nearby arena and headed towards it. "This is your stepping stone right. Many come here now in days to defeat Phi and Hyde in order to face the new champion."

"I don't care about my rank," Sin growled. "I only want to fight strong bladers."

"Then a fight against me shall quell your curiosity," the man decided. "I am Evel Oxford, current head of this house. If you defeat me in battle I will take you to see master Hyde. However, if you lose you may never return here."

"I'm always looking to get practice in," Sin grinned. "I appreciate your challenge."

"This one who enters has manners," Evel smiled. "Very well, I've been testing out this new bey I've designed. I think it will be fitting to face one as yourself. Behold Guard Egis."

She looked at the blue bey and deduced it is a Defense type bey. "The name guard means you put some sort of burst prevention system in your bey."

"How clever," the man realized. "Am I dealing with another Bey Engineer?"

"My brother and I had studied all sorts of parts," Sin waved it away. "That being said, back when we were looking up burst prevention systems, they were only theories."

"Oh they are quite real," Evel nodded as he put his bey inside his launcher.

"This will be tougher than I thought," Sin figured. "If his beyblade really can't burst, then I'd have to win in two rounds instead of one. But my own blade was designed with a dagger hidden under it's spike. Will my attack design beat his defense design?" Sin readied her own blade.

"You aren't afraid?", Evel concluded. "Excellent, then I shall get real practice in!"

"Let it rip," they both yelled.

Guard Egis landed and released two small pegs out of the sides of it.

"So that's the burst prevention system," Sin assumed. "I won't be intimidated! Spriggan, Axe Crash!"

"Never seen a version of Spriggan like that?", Evel noted. "What fun! Egis Guard!"

Guard Egis shook off the attack and then took the center. It wasn't going to let up and was clearly the better bey when it came to stamina.

"I'm not going to lose," Sin yelled as her eyes glowed red. "Spriggan, Counter Strike now!"

"Guard Swing!"

The two blades collided again, but this time Spriggan released it's new weapon, the hidden dagger.

"Excellent," Sin grinned as her red aura flared up. "Counter Spike!" The dagger slipped under Guard Egis and collided with the driver knocking the other bey off balance. "Now burst this bey! Go with Turbo Whip!"

"W-what? the metal chip on the top, there is no denying that it's a turbo bey!" Evel looked frustrated, but he didn't give up. "My bey is a turbo bey as well, with the same burst prevention system as Vault and Aiger! I will win this!"

"Give me more power," Spriggan called out.

In that moment, Sin saw the Beyblasters laughing at her and Norman staring at her with his golden eyes with disinterested. "Yes! I shall send you to oblivion!"

With that Spriggan tore through Guard Egis and bursted it in one shot.

"I did it!"

"No," Egis yelled. "I.. I guess I have no choice. I will take you to master Hyde."

Sin grinned as she followed behind him. The aura around her was radiating hotter than ever. Maybe she can be the next champion, but that's not her goal. She can feel the will of Spriggan rage through her mind. She knows better than anyone that Legend Spriggan craves vengeance. Not just that, but so does she. Her brother abandoned her, Shu abandoned Legend Spriggan, and the Beyblasters broke her bey. She will make them all pay.
