Neb: I do not own Beyblade, Beyblade Burst, or any other titles of Beyblade. This is a fanfic staring my own OC Sin Venger. She has evolved Legend Spriggan into a Turbo Blade Halberd Spriggan.
Sin and Crystal sat back on a bench near the Ice Stadium. Sin tossed Crystal a water bottle who nodded her head in thanks and then started sipping the water.
"So your a ranked blader now," Crystal smiled. "Even better, people will be lining up to face you after seeing Halberd Spriggan in action."
"I can't wait," Sin smiled. "I can get some real experience in when I start knocking out bladers by the dozen. Then I can start chasing after the people on my hit list."
"Oh?"
"My brother remains on the top," Sin explained. "But I also want to face Lui Shirosagi. He was the first Blader that my brother enjoyed battling against. I'd also like to get vengence on my brother's old crew the Beyblasters, and I have a score to settle against Hyde and Norman Tarver. I also would enjoy a battle against the man who abandoned Legend Spriggan, Shu Kurenai."
"quite the list," Crystal nodded.
"You actually know a lot more about my brother," Sin admitted. "The version of him that left for Spain anyways. When we were kids I knew everything about him, but when I gave up on Beyblade and focused on my running, we grew distant. He started hanging out with you and the body builder... what was his name?"
"Komoto," Crystal answered. "He and I developed our dragon blades using Domori's concept art. Your brother was a genius when it came to Beyblade designs."
"So then my brother's new blade will be in a similar style," Sin suspected.
"Your brother's blade will be better then ours," Crystal shook her head. "He went to Spain so he could collect data on the bladers over there. You believe your brother changed when we met him."
"Yeah," Sin confirmed.
"He was wielding a defense type beyblade called Quality Drake when he started the game. But as he continued playing he grew board of always being on the defense. Lui changed him, because he saw how much fun Lui was having being on the offense."
"Oh was that it?"
"There's more to it," Crystal continued. "He didn't find us on a whim, Domori was injured."
"... He was hurt?"
"It's hard to explain," Crystal sighed. "Didn't you notice your brother's hands were in his pockets a lot?"
Sin thought back to when he invited Lui over to blade and did remember his hands always being in his pockets. "If he wasn't blading against Lui, then what was he doing?"
"Coming up with his new Bey," Crystal answered. "Lui was an important part of his data, and it was odd for the child prodigy to waste his time with people like us. But Domori convinced him that Komoto and I were strong bladers in spite being beginners. Once Domori got us trained up enough he pit us against Lui."
"Who won?"
"Oh we got destroyed," Crystal sighed.
"Wow really?", Sin responded with disappointment.
"We tried our best," Crystal explained. "But... Lui was a monster! He laughed as our blades bursted over and over again. Domori told us to keep battling, so we kept going, but as soon as we stopped improving from the battles Lui got bored and left."
"That's awful," Sin realized. "I can't believe my brother pushed you two like that."
"We were his new arms," Crystal explained. "He spent hours teaching us his stances and upgrading our beys, but eventually he told us we had to find our own ways in blading."
"How did my brother get hurt?", Sin wondered.
"I... I never asked," Crystal sighed. "I'm sorry."
Sin stared deeply in Crystal's eyes causing her to back up. "No you know something, but your not telling me."
"What does it matter?", Crystal complained. "He's better now. At least I hope he is."
"Fine I won't push you to tell me," Sin decided. "Though, your keeping his secret from his own little sister. I'll have to prepare myself for my next fight."
"Your going to go after one of the people on your hit list?"
"No I'm going after Komoto, so he can fill in the blanks you wont or can't tell me."
"I suppose that's fair," Crystal admitted. "Just know that Komoto may try to be more cryptic than I. I do wish you luck though."
"Your coming with me," Sin pointed out.
"W-why?"
"Because I want both of you present when I get the full story, that way if one of you lie or leave out a detail the other will have to fill me in. Also, Lui beat you both at the same time, if I'm going to overcome him, I'm going to have to pull that off as well."
"Hmmm. Fine, I'll go. But only because I'm bored."
"Psh, whatever."
