Disclaimer: I own nothing

Izuku wore an eye patch for a day or two after getting his eye clawed out. He thought it looked kind of cool even though it really messed with his vision. He went on a raid with the vigilantes and got a lot of blood. He was almost at full power. He was close enough to hunt again. Which he was currently doing. He planned on talking it out first again. Even though it didn't work so well last time. He was in Thailand with Gabby and Speed Demon. They found that the vampire they were looking for didn't live in a city. It was hiding out in the National forest of Thailand. They were tracking it down using the necklace.

"You guys hear that?" asks Izuku.

"No… what is it?" asks Gabby.

"Like a buzzing noise." says Izuku, "Like a vvvvvv or like a tiny helicopter."

"I don't hear anything." says Speed Demon.

"Only reason I mention it is because it's coming our way." says Izuku, "Also there are like fifty of 'em."

"Should we retreat?" asks Gabby.

"Probably not. They're kinda fast. I don't think you could outrun them." says Izuku, "Get your bow ready. Let's hide out in these rocks and see if they pass us."

"Sure." says Gabby.

"Speed Demon, here's a pistol and a couple of mags." says Izuku.

"Thanks." says Speed Demon.

They're drones. Like the remote control mini helicopters. They've got guns on them. That would be a major problem if they didn't just fly past the rocks.

"Let's keep moving but stay low and quiet." says Izuku.

"No how about you stay here." says Giaguaro.

"Never thought of you as high tech." says Izuku.

"I'm not." says Giaguaro, "I'm here visiting."

Izuku smells another vampire. He can't see it though.

"Don't worry she won't kill you yet." says Giaguaro, "and neither will I."

"How'd you sneak up on us?" asks Izuku.

"I made sure I smell like the forest around us." says Giaguaro.

"That's a good idea. I'll use that in the future." says Izuku.

"Not against us I hope." says Giaguaro.

"Let's just take him." says Gabby.

"We take him, we fight the other vampire. We're surrounded and the drones are still out there somewhere. Let's see what he has to say." says Izuku, "Truce for now?"

"Certainly. I'd actually like to extend the truce into a partnership if you're interested." says Giaguaro.

"I'm not." says Izuku.

"Well as long as we've got you pretty much surrounded you'll just have to sit and listen to us." says Giaguaro.

"If I listen you'll let them leave." says Izuku.

"Them?" asks Giaguaro.

"I'd like to get the hell out of here but they take priority." says Izuku.

"I admire you." says Giaguaro, "I really do. I'll let you all leave when I've said my part."

"Neat." says Izuku.

"I know we've spoken about this before but-" starts Giaguaro.

"Really man?" asks Izuku.

"Yes really." says Giaguaro, "We're on the verge of extinction. Excluding you there are three of us left."

"I've heard this all before it won't change my mind." says Izuku.

"Please…" says Giaguaro, "We're all going to die. I know you value life, that's why you protect humans but we need to eat just the same as you."

"Then just eat. Don't go killing for power." says Izuku.

"It's not that easy. It's in my nature to want the best for my team. You can understand that I'm sure. I've been fighting my whole life. I feel like I can't change anything. No matter how hard I fight I can't fight nature. I can't fight change. I'll just keep fighting but nothings gonna change. Please fight with me. I've seen you make change. I need you to change with me. Please."

Izuku just looks at him.

"Say something." says Giaguaro.

"We're a lot more alike than we think." says Izuku, "I'm not sure I can work with you. I'm not sure if I should work against you. I feel for you I really do. I know what you're gonna do to people though. I understand why you do it. But I can't just let you. I'm sorry. I really am." says Izuku.

"Can you at least not fight us. I understand where you're coming from. I think. Try to understand where I'm coming from." says Giaguaro.

"I" starts Izuku before sighing deeply, "I-I don't know. I don't."

"That's okay." says Giaguaro, " It's okay. I wasn't sure about talking this out. I thought about just killing you to be honest. I'm glad you're considering my offer."

"I think I know what to do." says Izuku.

"You do?" asks Giaguaro.

"Yeah… but there's something I want to check first." says Izuku as he walks in the direction of the monastery.

"That's fine." says Giaguaro.

"I tried talking to them." says Izuku, "I really tried. I didn't want to kill them."

"You didn't?" asks Giaguaro.

"Well… I did. But I also didn't." says Izuku, "You know what I mean."

"Our instincts are hard to deal with at first. They tell us to make bad decisions but don't ignore them or run away from them. They're a part of us. We can't run from them just like we can't run from any other part of us. I know you want to. I know because I've been in your shoes. It's easier to let them help you." says Giaguaro.

"It's not about what's easy." says Izuku.

"You do a good thing that's hard. It's a bad thing but it makes a good thing easy." says Giaguaro.

"Maybe." says Izuku.

"You'd have the syndicates gone by now if you didn't take prisoners." says Giaguaro.

"I know." says Izuku.

"You wouldn't have lost any men either." says Giaguaro.

"Maybe. I don't know." says Izuku.

"Yes, you do." says Giaguaro.

"Not trying to be that guy, but if you say anything like that again I'm gonna come down here with about fifty big fellas and raze this whole damn forest with you in it." says Izuku.

"I meant no disrespect." says Giagaruo, "But if you came at the syndicate with that mentality-"

"I wasn't fucking joking." says Izuku.

"My apologies." says Giaguaro.

Izuku opens the door to the monastery. The inside is soaked with blood and the corpses of monks.

"You do that?" asks Izuku.

"No." says Giaguaro.

"I'm gonna kill her." says Izuku.

"Maybe that's for the best." says Giaguaro.

"I was about to call you dirt licker but before I get to that explain to me what the hell you mean by that." says Izuku.

"Maybe you're a better king." says Giagauro.

"For sure." says Izuku.

"If you kill us all, would you help our species return?" says Giagauro.

"Where would I even find people willing to join?" asks Izuku.

"We think we could have about twenty percent of the population on our side pretty soon." says Giaguaro.

"That's actually not a bad idea." says Izuku.

"I'll be taking my leave. If you keep hunting us I'm sure we'll meet again. When we next meet be ready to fight me. Don't rely on their help. I want the king to be someone deserving if it isn't me." says Giaguaro.

"You don't deserve it." says Izuku.

"I know, but I had to do something." says Giaguaro.

"Before we leave." says Izuku.

"Yeah?" asks Giaguaro.

"Dirt licker." says Izuku.

"I should've seen that coming. I really should've. You looked me dead in the eye and said you were gonna do it and I still didn't see it coming." says Giagauro.

"Yeah ya dirt licker." says Izuku as he walks.

"May the best man win." says Giaguaro.

"I will." says Izuku.

"Wait, are you really just leaving?" asks the invisibitch.

"Yeah, we're gonna kill you tomorrow." says Izuku.

"For real?" asks Invisibitch.

"Yeah, I'm tired. I'm going home. See you tomorrow." says Izuku.

Izuku lied. He didn't go home, but he did get the three of them a hotel room.

"So why didn't we fight her?" asks Gabby.

"She's gonna kill us." says Izuku, "I think."

"We could take her." says Speedy.

"Maybe." says Izuku, "I'm gonna dip for a while I'm coming back with help and plan."

Like two hours later Izuku comes back through a portal with a couple of rifles.

"Kinda sorta gotta plan." says Izuku.

"Cool." says Gabby.

"You two take these and shoot out all the drones. I'm gonna go kill the invisible cunt." says Izuku.

"That's it?" asks Speed Demon.

"Yeah." says Izuku.

"Did we really need a plan if it's that simple?" asks Gabby.

"Probably." says Izuku, "I know fake when I see it. Giaguaro thinks she's gonna kill us. All that shit Giaguaro was spewing was fake. It wasn't exactly a lie. In fact I think he was telling the truth, but he only told me the truth in a way that benefits him. He wants me to pity him. Which I do, but I won't act like it."

"I've seen you kill people before. Why do you feel bad for this guy?" asks Speed demon.

"To be honest. I think we've got a lot in common. He is… what I would be if I gave in to my vampirism. I think." says Izuku.

"I think you're worrying about it too much." says Speed Demon.

"I thought the same thing but… a couple of months back I couldn't even dream of killing someone. Now I've come all the way out here just to murder somebody." says Izuku.

"Well I think you'll turn out all right." says Gabby.

"Sure, but I haven't known you for more than a month." says Izuku.

"We've known each other longer than that." says Gabby.

"Sure, but the first time we met you popped a knife in my forehead and I called you a bitch." says Izuku.

"Sorry about that." says Gabby.

"Watch this." says Izuku before rubbing some concealer off his forehead revealing a straight white scar.

"Sorry about that. Again." says Gabby.

"It's cool, it's not the ugliest scar I've got." says Izuku, "My back is actually disgusting to look at without me fixing it up."

The three of them just hang around until they go to sleep. Izuku tried but he couldn't fall asleep. It was fine he didn't need it all that bad.

The next morning Speed Demon and Gabby were kitted out with some rifles sneaking through the woods. Izuku was pretty sure they'd trigger a motion detector. They'd be fine. They're tough.

He hears the vrring taking off toward them. He was gonna land in the monastery, kill that cunt and turn off the drones.

"Hello boy." comes her voice.

"Why are you naked?" asks Izuku.

"I know you can't see me. And my powers turn my clothes invisible too." says this bitch.

"You gonna come out or am I gonna have to find you?" says Izuku.

The floor creaks behind him. He swings his axe. Metal meets metal. It sparks and clangs and she becomes visible for a second. He swings wildly in her direction. He was more twirling his axe and body than swinging but it was damn near impossible for her knife to get through the metal tornado he was swinging around. She blocks a couple more swings and disappears. The door opens and sees grass move under her feet. He decides not to play into her hands and go through the doors. He instead rams his body through the wall next to door.

"Betcha didn't see that coming." says Izuku.

"Man, what?" asks Invisibitch.

Izuku doesn't respond, he just keeps his axe moving. He doesn't know where she's gonna strike from so he always keeps moving. He's flipping around spinning the axe like a helicopter blade following where he thinks he hears her.

He loses her for about ten seconds. He hears her again when she's on a wooden platform in a tree. Holy shit she's got a machine gun. He sprints back into the monastery and slams through the wall again. He hears a hail of bullets hit the building. He presses his body flat against the ground. The gun fire stops. The building is on fire he's gotta get out of there. He tries to run for the treeline but he gets shot to shit before he makes it.

"It was a good try, it really was." says Invisibitch, "But I had my traps laid out from the beginning. I had an intelligence quirk when I was alive. You walked into this without a chance of winning"

"You're a real cocky bitch aintcha?" asks Izuku.

"I am." says the bitch.

"You shouldn't be." says Izuku.

"Why not?" asks Invisibitch.

"I brought a couple EMPs." says Izuku.

"Oh." she says before getting shot four times in the chest.

Izuku uses his prehensile tongue to stake her when she hits the ground.

"Good shooting." says Izuku.

"Thanks." says Speed Demon.

"You alright?" asks Gabby.

"Do I look alright?" asks Izuku.

"You'll be fine, you're tough." says Gabby.

"You're really growing on me." says Izuku.

"So what now?" asks Speed Demon.

"Drag me home." says Izuku.

Authors Note

The vampire hunter arc is getting close to finishing up. There are only two more vampires to hunt down. After this we'll be going back into the syndicate arc.

I kinda feel like this chapter was a little off. Like the drones were a little too much but I know that U.A has fighting robots so it doesn't seem that far off. I also feel like the fight was a little too short and not my best work but everything leading up to it was okay. I'm kinda rushing this chapter because I wanted it out yesterday but I'm adding the finishing touches at two thirty. This is all a result of my poor time management.

PS the entrance exams might be coming in soon. I'm not sure just yet where I'm gonna put it.

Frozen Drake: He's been breaking down for a while. He just never talks. The pressure's been building up since pretty much his fourth birthday. It's been getting tighter since overhaul but there was always pressure. He's in such a precarious situation. He needs to let some of the pressure out but he doesn't want to explode.

Guest: That thing with Kota was greasy. Cuz everybody knew Eri was gonna show up and I go "Horned child" and it's just not her. You don't have to be dissapointed in yourself I designed it to trick you.

Kahjj: I want to put doubt in everything he kills. Like naturally with his line of work he knows some people just deserve to die, but he's got to wonder if he should be the one to kill them.

There's always a small nagging thing in the back of his head that says they didn't deserve it. Another thing that eats at him is his own hypocrisy. If he wasn't on good terms with Toga or Doc they'd be the kind of people he'd hunt down. So seeing people like them always makes him wonder in the back of his mind if he should hunt them. Or if they're just in a bad situation. On the other end of the argument Muscular and Overhaul were just terrible people who's ends didn't justify their means.

Overhaul had a really profound impact on Izuku. Overhaul showed Izuku evil. Izuku knew there was pure Evil in the world but he looked it dead in the eye. It killed him twice. He was human but he was a worse monster than Izuku. It hardened him in a lot of ways. He always tries to give people the benefit of the doubt but it's always been hard for him not to see the worst in people since then.

I got kinda distracted and went on a rant there. My bad. You're not missing anything. U.A hasn't started yet although the entrance exams are probably soon.

Amadeus Amadeus: One thing I've always thought was weird about the anime itself was how quickly Izuku got over everything. Like he still has self doubt but in the first episode he came off as actually miserable. I understand the next couple episodes were like a year long but it still felt like ten years of being told he was actual human garbage just disipated. I know a big reason for this was him getting All Might's help but it still felt abrupt.

This was my inspiration for righting a completely miserable Izuku. Like most miserable people I'm not allowed to let him show it unless it's to his best friend in the whole world Dabi. That's one of the rules I have for myself. That's not saying he's not allowed to touch up on it with other characters but he only dives into it with dabi.

All Might played a big role in Izuku gaining confidence in himself in the anime but this Izuku never got that. That's another big reason that plays into his struggle. He was still never told he could be a hero.

I know I kinda went off on this little rant. It helps me organize my thoughts to do stuff like this. I'ts kinda interesting to think about. Like what makes a character tick in fan fiction. What was left out from source material to make the character act this way.
