After the wash, DJ rolled out of the stall then, briskly shook the remaining water off of him.
"All done," he declared.
Yoana chuckled at the sight then, thought, "Now what's going to happen," as she felt a bit of nervousness begin to creep on her, "Is he going to ask me out?"
The male rolled up to her, smiling. The lady Reko-do's nervousness culminated as a result. She tried returning the gesture, embarrassment and a feeling of not being good enough grasped her.
"I'm sorry," she blurted, looking at the ground.
"For what," he enquired.
"I didn't quite return your smile," she replied. "I… I… I don't know what to say. I'm not good with social situations. I know you mean no harm. It bothers me that I couldn't truly give back the smile, spontaneously, with the same emotions. I don't know why you smiled at me. I'm tense," she added sentence-by-sentence with short pauses in between.
"I felt that your smile wasn't real and feel that you're nervous," said the blue tuner. "And I smiled at you because I like you and you look cute," he confessed.
The mostly purple, blue and green Reko-do experienced mixed feelings then, said after their effects started wearing off, "But you hardly even know me. How is this possible?"
"You seem smart and honest," he started. "You look good," he continued. "But… you seem to be hiding something you're ashamed of," he added after answering her question.
With his final sentence DJ unknowingly parked himself on a sensitive area of hers. Hoping for a relation with him, she made the sacrifice of confessing information to him, to whom she barely knew, even if it would end badly.
"DJ," she said looking him in the eye, "I am not fully normal. Right now I don't want to discuss why and in what ways, since it would be too uncomfortable for me and I hardly even know you. I am ashamed of being different and what effects this has on myself and others. I am also ashamed of my weaknesses that others don't have. I think you'll find out in time anyway what I am like if you really get to know me. Tell ya what, you can find me on the social media platform, Scionide, under the name Yoana Parker. I am not on Carsbook, I don't trust it, moreover I have problems with trust, and this is good for you to know."
"Um, okay," he replied giggling.
Confusion manifested in the female, the music geek perceiving that clarified himself.
"Yoana, I'm not laughing at you. I am laughing at the name Scionide," he told her.
"Oh, I get it now," she replied, her mind clearing. "You thought of cyanide, didn't you?"
"Yeah," answered the blue male.
