Sleep didn't come easy to me as I tossed and turned. I soon sat up as I saw Derek come through my window. He looks slightly disheveled. I got up and locked my door, my long sleeve against my upper body and yoga pants covering my legs.
" You ok?" He asked as I shook my head.
" No, I want a moment where we can just feel ok." I replied as I still felt afraid. Derek then walked over and pulled me in for an embrace.
" Please." I whispered as I let my desire fill the bond. I let my fear in, I let him feel what I needed.
" Marina." Derek whispered as I looked at him.
" Please." I whispered. He looked at me as if looking for any clouded judgment. He then kissed me slowly before we made it to the bed. As the kiss got heated, I let Derek slowly remove my clothes.
" God, I need this." I whispered as Derek placed small kisses on my neck. I watched as he sat up. I carefully removed his clothes with a gentle touch.
" Tonight isn't about speed." I whispered as Derek nodded. I felt him move down my body. His hand lingered on my stomach for a moment before he began to lick my core's lips. I moaned out. I gripped his hair with one hand as I felt pleasure enter my body. It was perfection.
" Derek!" I cried out lowly, I felt him lap up every drop of my essence. He came up after kissing my stomach and came up to my mark and gave it a small nip. I moan loudly as he did so. I got up to lay him down, but he shook his head.
" Not tonight." He says as I nod.
" Love me." I whisper as he lays me down. I feel him enter me slowly as I let one of my legs wrap around his waist. Derek kisses me deeply as he moved. The friction felt amazing as I felt him thrust deeper. He stops kissing me as I looked into his eyes. I watch his eyes flicker as he then pressed kisses into my shoulder and as he sinks his fangs into my mark, I felt his knot inflate as it locked us together. Derek then pulled his fangs out of my mark. He flipped us over.
" Thank you." I said as he covered us. I felt his arms wrap around me as the covers held us in our comfy space. I fell asleep. Morning soon arrived as I saw that Derek was spooning me.
" I have to go to school." I said as Derek pulled me tighter.
" Keep an eye on Isaac. Last night something killed his dad." Derek says as he lets his arms loose enough for me to escape. I got out of bed and got to my bath. I need to go to my pond soon, I can feel my skin kind of drying out a little. As long as I go every once in a while, I feel ok, sure water from the bath helps, but only for so long. I got in and felt my tail form. I let my head go under the surface for a good ten minutes. I surface, I soon get out and dry off to the point my tail forms back into my legs. I get up and get dressed in a white tank top and black flare jeans with some knee-high combat boots. I snag my bag as I see Derek is fully dressed.
" I'll take you to school." He says as I nodded. I watched him go out the window. I go down the stairs and grab my keys. I put them in my bag and walk to the Camaro. Derek holds my hand as he drives me to school. I soon arrive and get out of the car.
" I love you." I say as Derek smiled.
" I love you too." Derek says as I leaned in the car and kissed him. I leaned out and shut the car door. I soon find Isaac.
" Derek tells me you are a supernatural, but not like me." Isaac said as I took his hand and let my eyes glow.
" I'm a mermaid. Mated to Derek., more like bonded." I said as Isaac smiled.
" I feel like we are gonna be good friends Isaac." I said as he blushed. I walked away to the morning Lacrosse practice. I haven't seen Scott since last night. I see Isaac in his gear. I watched Scott in goal, but he ran out and tackled everyone.
" What the hell is he doing?" I asked as I saw Isaac huffed, I see his eyes glowing. Oh no!
" McCall! You come out of that goal one more time and you'll be doing suicide runs till you die. It'll be the first-ever suicide run that actually ends in a suicide. Got it?" Coach yelled at him, I watched Jackson go and sit out. I watch Scott and Isaac running at each other. They look at one another. I soon see Stiles' Dad and some deputies showing up.
" Don't tell them. Please don't tell them." Isaac's voice was clear with fear. I got up to see Scott and Stiles next to each other.
" Isaac is being taken in after school." Scott said as I huffed.
" His dad was murdered." I said as the two looked at me.
" Derek told me." I said as I saw Scott's nose twitch and I groaned.
" Just because Derek and I are together as a mated pair doesn't mean you get to smell what we do." I said as Scott blushed.
" And you can't judge me, your older cousin when you are shagging with Allison." I said before leaving the two to be awestruck by my words. School went by fast, as the final bell rang, I walked out of the school to see Isaac being transported out by police car. I see Derek pull up with his car. I smell Scott next to me.
" Get in." Derek said as I did so. Scott however wanted to hang back.
" Are you serious? You did that. That's your fault." Scott said as I huffed.
" I know that. Now get in the car and help me." Derek said as he took my hand.
" No, I've got a better idea. I'm gonna call a lawyer. Because a lawyer might actually have a chance at getting him out before the moon goes up." Scott replied as he walked towards us.
" Not when they do a real search of the house." I say as earlier Derek had shown me pictures of the house. It still scared me.
" What do you mean?" Scott asked as I felt Derek squeeze my hand. He must have felt my fear.
" Whatever Jackson said to the cops, what's in the house is worse. A lot worse." Derek says as Scott looks at me. he gets in the car, the night begins to fall as we arrived at Isaac's house. We get to the front of the house.
" If Isaac didn't kill his father, who did?" Scott asked as Derek helped me out of the car.
" We don't know yet." Derek says as I feel some twinge of fear.
" Then how do you know he's telling the truth?" Scott asked as I stepped up.
" Because I trust my senses. And it's a combination of them. Not just your sense of smell." Derek says as I feel my eyes flickering.
" You saw the lacrosse thing today." Scott asked as I chuckled.
" Yeah." I say as Derek chuckled.
" Did it look that bad?" Scott asked us.
" Yeah." Derek said with a chill running down my spine.
" You wanna learn? Let's start now." I said as I opened the basement door.
" What's down there?" Scott asked as I motioned him to go down.
" Follow your senses." I told him as he goes down there. Derek and I follow.
" What happened down here?" Scott asked as I feel emotions.
" The kind of thing that leaves an impression. Open it." Derek says as Scott did as told. He opened the freezer. Scott feels the scratch marks, I see his face control with a lot of feelings.
" This is why he said yes to you." Scott says as I feel the full moon rising, not affected but water tide rises the highest during these times. I feel my trident pendant and my dragon tattoo.
" Everyone wants power." Derek says as I tune them out. I came back as I saw Scott with claws.
" If I'm with you, I lose her." Scott said as I knew he was referring to Allison.
" You're gonna lose her anyway. You know that." Derek said as I got to the stairs.
" Wait. I'm not part of your pack. But I want him out. He's my responsibility too." Scott says as I feel fear entering my body. Derek comes over to me as he checks over me.
" Why? Because he's one of us?" Derek asked Scott over his shoulder. Derek pulls me to him.
" Because he's innocent." Scott says before Derek and I caught up with Stiles, we got to the sheriff's station.
" Okay, now the keys to every cell are in a password-protected lockbox in my father's office. The problem is getting past the front desk." Stiles said as I shrugged.
" I'll distract her." Derek said as I looked at him.
" Whoa, whoa, whoa - you? You're not going in there." Stiles said as he grabbed Derek's shoulder, Derek looked at him annoyed. Stiles took his handoff.
" He was exonerated." I said as Stiles rolled his eyes.
" He's still a person of interest." Stiles replied as I smirked.
" An innocent person." I replied as I see Derek smirking.
" An - him? Yeah, right! Okay, fine." Stiles said before turning to my man.
" What's your plan?" Stiles asked him.
" To distract her." Derek said in an obvious tone.
" Uh - huh. How? By punching her in the face? Unh." Stiles says as Derek snickered.
" Heh, by talking to her." Derek said as I growled lowly.
" Okay, all right. Give me a sample. What are you gonna open with? Dead silence. That should work beautifully. Any other ideas?" Stiles asked as I groaned.
" I'm thinking about punching you in the face." Derek said before we got out of the car.
" Don't worry all I see is you." Derek said before I was pressed against the wall and Derek kissed me heavily. My eyes flashed as he pulled away. I watched him walk into the station. Stiles and I walked inside but got low.
" Good evening, how can I help - you?" The female deputy says to Derek as I felt jealous. They both said hi.
" Um, I had a question. Um, sorry I'm a little - a little thrown. I wasn't really expecting someone." Derek said as both Stiles and I crawled past. I felt him lying through his teeth.
" Like me?" She asked as Dereks smiled. Oh, he is in trouble.
" Oh, I was gonna say "so incredibly beautiful" but, yeah, I guess that'd be the same thing." Derek says as I let my jealousy filter through the bond. Stiles and I made it to the backroom. I watched him punch in a keycode. He opened the box and I saw that there was no key.
" Fuck!" I growled as Stiles and I walked out, we see a deputy.
" Oh. Uh, just looking, um." Stiles said before I saw the guy had an arrow in his leg!
" Fuck!" I say before he hit my head. I fall to the ground lightheaded. I get up as I hear a roar. I ran to the cell room to see a shivering Isaac, a back to the wall Stiles and a slightly shifted Derek with the fucker who hit my head on the floor unconscious.
" How did you do that?" Stiles asked as I felt a warmth trickling down my forehead. I put my hand there and felt blood.
" I'm the Alpha." Derek said as I strolled up to him and kissed him hard, making him feel secure before I pull back.
" You know you are in trouble right?" I said as he grinned.
" Oh, I know." He said before I helped Isaac up.
" Doesn't mean what I said to her was true." Derek said as we got Isaac out of the station.
" I know." I said with my signature smirk. We get Isaac out of the precinct. We get him to the substation and set him up with the spare mattress we set up. Derek and I head back to my house and to my room. We remove our clothes and get under the covers.
" So it's every three full moons I go through a heat cycle. This is the first full moon after my heat cycle." I said as Derek smirked as he softly kissed my neck. Soon I fall asleep.
