I was in my gym class standing next to Erica, a friend of mine. We watched as my cousin fell off the rock wall and was caught before he hit the ground. I chuckled.
" So are you ever gonna ask Stiles out?" I asked as Erica blushed hard.
" As if!" Erica said as I saw Coach looking towards us.
" Stilinski, Erica, let's go. The wall." Coach said as I see her look up, I can hear her heart beating lout and smell the anxiety off of her. I wish I could help her. I watched her and Stiles begin to climb up, Erica soon stops as Stiles gets ahead. Oh no! She begins breathing heavily.
" Erica. Dizzy? Is it vertigo?" Coach asked as I see Lydia, who was found by Stiles the night before, walk up to Coach.
" Vertigo's a dysfunction of the vestibular system of the inner ear. She's just freaking out." The strawberry blonde told him as I got to the base of the rock wall.
" Erica." I voiced to her, but she shakes her head at my call.
" I'm fine." She replied.
" Coach, maybe it's not safe. You know she's epileptic. " Allison said as I looked to see our teacher bewildered, I quickly looked back at Erica's shaking state.
" Why doesn't anybody tell me this stuff? I have to get - Erica, y - you're fine. Just - Just kick off from the wall. Th - There's a mat to catch you." Coach said before I grabbed one of the rocks and began to scale up.
" Marina! What are you doing?" Scott said as I began to climb up the rock face. I got next to Erica and rubbed her back.
" Come on down, your ok, Eri." I say as I see her visibly stop shaking. We both climb down.
"Come on. See, you're fine. You're on the ground. You're all right. Let's go. Shake it off. You're fine." Coach told Erica as I see people snickering.
" Oh piss off!" I yelled before taking her to the locker room. I switched out of my gym clothes into some worn jeans, a tank top, and my leather jacket. As I pull my pearl flower in my hair, I feel anxious. I look around for Erica.
" Oh fuck!" I exclaimed before running into the gym and seeing Erica falling. I run to her, but Scott caught her first.
" Put her on her side. Put her on her side." Allison said as I grabbed Erica's hand as Scott held her down.
" How'd you know?" Allison asked as she looked at me. She looked curious as I looked at her.
" I just felt it." Scott said as I was gonna say something. Thank you, Scotty. It wasn't long before I watched Erica being taken by ambulance. School ended after that and I got into my brand new car, a 2010 Black Dodge Challenger SRT8. I got a buzz on my phone.

I smiled and got in my car and rode to the hospital, parking my car, I got off and headed inside.
" Where is Erica Reyes?" I asked the receptionist.
" Oh, Marina! She with your Aunt in 218." She said as I smiled.
" Thank you." I replied before heading there. Thoughts rang through my head, worry and fear flooded my emotions. She would be a lot better if she turned. or No more pain. Soon I was pulled into an empty room and embraced.
" We have to stop meeting like this." I say as Derek smirked.
" I felt and heard everything through the connection." He replied before giving me a calming kiss.
" My friend Erica, suffers from epilepsy. I think it would be a good opportunity to turn her." I say as Derek looked deep into my eyes.
" I think it would." Derek says as we walked to Erica's room after my aunt vacated. Derek rolled Erica's bed to the morgue. Soon she sat up and saw me. Derek had her medicine.
" Side effects may include anxiety, waking, acne, ulcerative colitis. Yeesh." Derek reads allowed as I took Erica's hand to calm her. This was the best option for her to have a better life.
" Who are you?" Erica asked as she gripped my hand tight.
" Let's just say we all have a - mutual friend." Derek said as Erica looked at me.
" You get a warning right before you have a seizure." I say as Erica looked at me. Derek leaned back on the wall.
" It's called an aura. It's - it's like a metallic taste in my mouth. "She said as I rubbed her shoulder to calm her down, her heart was loud in my sensitive ears.
" You don't have to lie, Erica. What's it really taste like?" Derek piped up as Erica took a deep breath as I got in front of her.
" It tastes like blood." She said with honestly leaking from her tongue.
" What if I told you that all of this could go away?" I say as she perked up at the sound of a cure to her health.
" The side effects. The symptoms." I told her as she sat at the edge. She wanted this, I can smell it.
" All of it. And what if all those things not only went away, but everything else, got even better?" I said as she looked very hopeful, I felt Derek put a hand on my shoulder.
" How?" She asked as I smiled at her.
" Let my boyfriend show you." I say as I turned to see Derek, standing as his eyes glowed.
" What are you?" Erica asked us as I let my eyes change.
" Derek is a werewolf, he can run great lengths, heal beyond reason and so much more. He can turn you, but you must know that hunters will try to kill you. I'm something else, a mermaid." I say as I see a sink. Derek walked over and turned it on. I made a water ball appear in front of me.
" I want this." Erica exclaimed as I took her hand and showed Derek her wrist. He nodded to Erica then bit down with his wolf teeth. Erica bit back a scream. He pulled back his fangs and I gave him a napkin to wipe away any blood. I grabbed a bandage and put it on the bite.
" So just your boyfriend?" Erica asked as she pointed at my shoulder with my mark.
" He's my bonded mate." I said as I got up. I walked to my man, smiling as he embraced me.
" Derek Hale?" Erica asked as I looked at her, I nodded. It wasn't long before Erica was checked out. I saw as she got out her acne was cleaning up. I checked her bite and it was gone. I looked into her eyes that flashed that innocent beta gold that I knew all too well.
" Congrats, you're a werewolf." I said as she smiled, a bright one at that.
" I feel so much more alive." She exclaimed as I smile. I turned to Derek, he was leaning against his car.
" I'm gonna take her shopping, I'll meet you back at my place." I say as he smirks, he moves my leather jacket and kisses my mark. I groan before walking away. I walk to Erica and we got in my car. We headed to the mall and did an entire day's worth of shopping a Victoria's Secret, Hot Topic, and JCPenny. We soon got back to my car and I took her phone to help her out with makeup tutorials and some other helpful tips.
" Thank you so much!" She exclaimed as I drove us off.
" It's no problem." I say as she smiled. I dropped her off at her place after helping her put everything away. I drove home with my new baby. I get out of my car a park it next to my bike.
" My bike's name is Dean. So, I'm gonna call you Bella." I say as I feel my Charger's wheel. I smiled and got out, but as I shut my door. I was pressed against it. I see Derek with his eyes glowing that crimson red I love. I got a very steamy idea. I see Derek smiling.
" You, I know we can read each other's thoughts and feelings, but privacy is a thing." I said as he gave a cheeky smirk.
" Come on." I said as he smiled. We got in the car and I drive him and me to LookOut Point. I park my car. Derek leans his seat as far pack as he could. I smiled before carefully maneuvering over. I kissed Derek as he carefully removes my jacket and puts it to the side.
" Come here." I whispered before pulling Derek up enough to remove his jacket and his shirt, my hands feeling his chest. His chest with the perfect amount of chest hair. I feel him removing my tank top.
" God, I love you and your supernatural side." Derek whispered as he hiked me up and removed my pants, it gave me time to remove his. I see the windows are heavily fogged up at this point. I didn't care. Derek pulled me to him as he enter me. I let out a gasp as he kissed the pulse point of my neck. I felt my eyes glowing as I bounded on him. Derek pulled me into his arms deeper as he hit all my angles right. Holding him close as I moan out.
" Perfection." He growled as I felt his heavy breath on my neck. It wasn't long before I heavily orgasmed all over his member.
" You smell perfect." He growled deeper as I felt his knot growing. I soon felt his hands grip my hips and slam me down hard. I cried out as I came again, his knot locking us in place as his seed began to fill me with every spurt. I collapsed on him as heavy breathing was all I heard in my new car.

" Feels like hell is setting in." I said as Derek took my hand and kissed it. We talked for an hour before it came down to the third beta choice.
" I can look out tomorrow, but I think Vernon Boyd would be a good choice." I said as the moon was high in the sky.
" Junior ROTC Student, he's built strong and he's a loner." I said as I thought off Boyd sitting at lunch alone, his feelings of being alone and sadness soaked into my mind. I pulled out of my thoughts and saw Derek looking at me.
I think it's the right call. Derek thought as I smiled. I laced a kiss on his cheek.
" Meet me at school tomorrow, I'll send you a text." I said as Derek nodded. I gave him one final kiss before walking to my car.
" You gonna be ok?" I asked as he looked at me, his eyes glowing.
" I'll be safe don't worry." He called back. I got in my car and drove off. I got home and reparked my car next to my bike. I got out of my car and sighed. I got inside my house and went upstairs. I saw Scott's door was closed and I could hear him asleep in there. I smiled before going into my room and shutting the door. I got into bed and dozed off.
The moon was high and the water was warm. I swam to see Derek with those beautiful crimson eyes before a hissing sound and something scaled on all fours came out of the woods.
I woke up with a start. I sighed as the dream faded, I got out of bed and got dressed in a white crop top, some leather pants with a silver chain belt with some black athletic sneaker wedges. I grabbed my leather jacket and put my pearl flower pin down on my desk. I put on some makeup with a smokey eye look and ombre my lips from black to red in the center. I curl my hair before heading out. I grab my bag and don't sense Scott here. I got to school and soon found Erica. She looked different. Her blonde curls were bouncing, she was wearing makeup, her white top hid under a black leather jacket, she had cheetah pumps on with a black leather skirt.
" You look a lot better." I said before she hugged me. My trident necklace cool against my neck.
" I feel great!" She exclaimed, soon the warning lunch bell rang.
" I'm gonna text Derek to pick us up for an on-the-town bite." I said as I pulled out my phone.
Come get us. M. I texted my man, I soon got a response.
OMW. D. I smiled at the response.
" Let's go make an impression." Erica said as she hugged me from behind. I smirked and we walked to the lunchroom.
" Pick you up right after work tonight and we'll meet at the rink, cool?" Stiles' voice rang in my ears. Erica and I walked in, everyone turned to look at us. Erica took a kid's apple. I chuckled at that.
" What - The holy hell - Is that?" Lydia asked as I smirked at Scott.
" It's Erica and my cousin." Scott said before Erica and I began walking to the parking lot. Derek was there, Erica got in the back and I got in the side. Derek smirked over to Scott and drove off.
" Pizza?" I asked as Derek smirked.
" I could kill for pizza." Erica said as I laughed.
" Don't kill, it will tarnish your soul." I said as she nodded.
" Darken yourself as you feel your eyes glow from that innocent gold to a cold steel blue." I said as I made my eyes glow.
" Before you ask." I said as Derek parked at the pizza joint.
" I've never killed anyone. Mermaids have different eye glows. I just happened to get the rarest eye glow." I told her before we got out of the car and got our pizza. Derek leaned on me as we all ate.
" So how did you know you guys were mates?" Erica asked as I smirked.
" It just happened. We soon heard each other, felt each other, Soon we just happened and our marks appeared on each other. A Silver Triskelion for me and a Silver Crescent moon on Derek." I say as Derek touched my hands. I leaned my head on his shoulder.
" We don't feel any romance for anyone else or influenced. That's how tight the bond is between us. Almost like a soulbond." I said with a smile.
" For werewolves, it is a soulbond." Derek said before the three of us finished our pizza. We pulled Erica to the side.
" So we need one last person to turn so we can be a full pack. We are going to seek Boyd, Vernon Boyd." Derek said as Erica smiled.
" Need me to recruit?" Erica asked as Derek nodded.
" Get him to meet with me during free period, my cousin is gonna get defensive as he doesn't know what happening." I said as I remembered what Derek said about Isaac's dad getting killed, something new was in Beacon Hills. Erica nods and we returned to school, I went back to class and just let my mind run. I was handed back a paper with an A.
" Keep up the good work Marina." Mr. Harris said as I nodded, the class soon ended and it was my free period.
" Hey, Marina." Boyd said as I was sitting in the library.
" Hey." I said as he sat down.
" So, Erica says you have a proposition." He said as I nodded.
" You are strong and I know a loner when I see one. You saw Erica looked different, more confident, and had more of a kick in her step." I said as Boyd nodded. I leaned forward.
" Well let's just say you don't live in a normal world." I whispered as he looked confused. I looked around, no one was paying attention. I turned back and made my eyes glow, he looked taken aback as I reset my eyes.
" The supernatural walk among you. My boyfriend, Derek is a werewolf who can turn you. You'll become strong, fast and so much more. But you will be hunted by hunters that want to kill you, but with the proper training, you can avoid and survive." I said as he looked interested.
" He can meet me at the ice rink around 9. Tell Derek I'm in." Boyd said as I got up.
" Of course." I said before we went our separate ways. I went about the rest of my day till I got out, I sent Derek a quick text.
Boyd is in, meet him at the ice rink at nine. M. I texted before heading home. I felt my skin drying out, god damn it. I have to get to my freshwater source soon. As I arrived home, I just got to thinking, with the hunters on Derek and the newly formed pack and this unknown threat, soon Derek and I have to find a new home. I have a lot of family inheritance from my grandmother and my parents. It's a rather large number, but I'm not touching it. Not yet, not till the hunters and Gerard are dealt with. I got a text from Derek.

Oh no! Scott. I got to my bike and rode quickly to it, when I got there, I saw Scott on the ground. Looks like he wanted to fight Derek cause I saw blood on my man's lip. I walked on the ice.
" Enough." I said as I helped Scott up.
" Scott, don't interfere with what's going on, we have enough going on with the hunters on our asses." I said as Boyd was walking towards Isaac and Erica. I had to hide the unknown threat, if he goes to Deaton, I feel like he can shed some truth.
" Marina." Scott said as I smirked.
" I have myself covered." I told him before walking towards my man.
" You can't attack my family." I said lowly to him, Derek looked at me with an apologetic look. I was walking towards my bike when I stopped as I felt fear running through him.
" Why did I feel that?" I asked as he looked at me.
" The word about a new Alpha being in Beacon Hills traveled to the wrong ears." Derek said as I sat down with him.
" What does that mean?" I asked as he took my hand.
" It means they are coming, a pack of Alphas. From what I've heard they are Alphas that have killed their pack and druids to gain their power. I think they are coming for me and if word gets out that a mermaid is mated to me, then we are in danger." He said as I felt fear and terror fill my body. Derek pulled me in and rubbed my back.
" We will be ready." He said as we pulled apart.
" With the trident, we should be. With a pack. Absolutely." I said as he pulled me in and held me tight.
