[Short Story Inspiration]

I was once friends with a kid who had powerful imagination. I think he was 14 at the time, although that doesn't matter. He likes MLP, Sonic, and Kingdom Hearts. I won't go into detail about his antics yet, all I will say will be tame until the time is right.

If I were to describe how he was, I would say, nice IRL, and a narcissist when we role-played. He controlled everything around him, and I couldn't do anything about it because I was in his imaginary world. His character is suppose to "look" like a fusion between Shadow the Hedgehog, and Sonic the Hedgehog. Even though it was that simple, I couldn't visualize it.

And man... His backstory was such an enigma! I can't even remember it anymore.

[Chapter 2: Vague Hospitality]

Three months have passed since the events of the fallen alicorn, with lot's of things changing in Equestria from how they usually would go. This so called Galaxy has influence the world greatly, but right now isn't the time to focus on him. Princess Luna was roaming around the dream realm in search for "somepony". All the dreams around her were being tossed aside, emphasizing her desperation.

Luna: (It's a filly... The pony I must find is a pegasus filly. Appearance matters more than mind, but if possible, she needs devotion.)

The qualities she's searching for are: Pink coat, and white fluffy mane, along side the aforementioned details. But aside from that, what was the reason for Luna to be doing all of this? If she could say it outloud she would have done it already. However, the dream of a certain alicorn was looming over the Princesses of the Night.

Luna: (That nightmare won't stop following me. What is he expecting me to do with it? It's impossible to fix.)

The nightmare naturally belongs to Galaxy. It showed fragments of his life before he was a pony, the life of his human self.

His life used to be oppressive and devoid of any meaning. He was bullied without stop, while also being forced to take the blame. Awful luck kept striking him left and right, as people took advantage of his generous heart. Oddly enough, he once fell in love with a girl who he thought understood his feelings. But those feelings were never reciprocated, and she ran away with most of his money in the hands of a muscular tattoo filled guy.

"Why do girls always like the bad guys?" He said not knowing how much of an idiot he was.

His life at home wasn't any good either. He used to live in the house of his neglectful uncles due to the death of his parents. They died before he was even born, in a plane accident after a trip to their home country; Japan.

Luna: (What a ridiculous pity story! "Died before he was even born?" How are you expecting me to believe such nonsense!? Why are other ponies believing this!?)

Luna knows she shouldn't think like that. Is just hard to do so not knowing how everypony feels about him. Both her and Celestia are still self aware, so once they lose that "self awareness" they'll be as oblivious as everypony else.

There's no time to waste. She grabbed Galaxy's nightmare, and threw it away.

Luna: *Sigh* ...!!!

In the corner of her eye, a dream descended slowly to her left side. Coincidentally, this was the dream she was looking for. The filly she described was standing above the clouds, witnessing a season that doesn't exist. It was something undescribable and severely abstract.

Luna: (Finally...! I found it...!)

Princess Luna without hesitation dived into the dream of the young girl. The events that transpired afterwards remain completely unknown.

Moving to Canterlot Castle in the morning. The two princesses, Luna and Celestia, were walking up the stairs to one of the castle towers rooms. Once they reach the room's door, they stop to briefly speak their minds.

Luna: Why are we doing this sister? She's just a little girl.

Celestia: She is more than that. You out of all ponies should know.

Luna: Yes, but she doesn't. And I don't think she'll know until Galaxy Spiral is dealt with. We are gambling the fate of Equestria on a filly that is UNAWARE OF HER OWN-

Celestia: SSHHHHHH!!! The walls have ears.

They can't afford to speak freely. Who knows if Galaxy is listening from afar. In three months a lot can be known about a threat. By this time they realize that Galaxy is not only "All Powerful", but also "Semi Omniscient". He doesn't always listen to them. However, there's always a chance he does, so their words must be chosen carefully.

Luna: My apologies...

Celestia: Don't be sorry, If you didn't vent your frustration, hypocrisy might have slipped from my mouth. Knowing how we feel should be enough to help us cope with this predicament.

Luna: I wouldn't have said it better myself... Soo... mind opening the door?

Celestia: Oh right!

With that out of the way, Celestia took out the keys of the room, and proceeded to open the door. Doing it slowly as to not wake up the filly who is currently sleeping in her bed.

Or so they believed...

When the door fully opened, the princesses gasped at what they witness. The filly that reside in the room was no longer in it. She left the room in total disarray. The sheets of the bed were all over the ground, and the windows wide open with the wind blowing on the curtains. Princess Celestia desperately ran inside to lean out the window. The filly was nowhere in sight.

Celestia: Oh no... oh no... This can't be happening... Why is she gone!?

Luna: Let's be honest with ourselves, she was a pegasus. Why wouldn't she leave?

Celestia: That's a fair point, I shouldn't be asking such questions. We need to act immediately!

Luna: Alright, let's make haste!

And so they flew away in search of the filly. They knew that the moment she realizes she's in Canterlot, she would not bother on flying away from the city. That is because the filly originally is from the city of Baltimare. There's no way she can make it all the way there on her own.

Even so, they couldn't find her anywhere in the sky. So they landed by the garden in order to ask patrolling guards if they seen her. In the end they didn't had a chance to ask before a guard came towards them in an urgent manner. He bow down to the princesses before speaking.

Guard: Your Highness, Prince Galaxy Spiral has arrived at Canterlot Station. He's accompanied be Princess Twilight Sparkle, and are on their way to the castle as we speak.

Celestia/Luna: !!!

Guard: Also the commander of our southern brigade got a bit cocky, and picked a fight with Prince Galaxy Spiral. He is currently in the hospital after losing his frontal legs and his left eye. He might not make it...

Celestia/Luna: ...

The silver lining to this situation is that it can't get any worse than this. Although, you can't really call that a good thing. The girl that is suppose to help them with their problem got away, and their "problem" is heading towards them.

In fact, what the guard told them shock them so hard, that they almost forgot they were chasing a filly.

Celestia: Very well, I'll attend Galaxy when he arrives. Make sure you move the guards away from the throne room on my behalf.

Guard: Understood!

Celestia: Oh! and if you, or any guard sees a pegasus filly around the castle, please escort her to the northern tower room. You may dismiss...

With that out of the way, Celestia sigh stressfully at the thought of dealing with Galaxy. Before walking away, there was something she needed to say to her sister.

Celestia: Don't follow me, please return to the room and wait for the arrival of the girl.

Luna: That's fine by me...

Both princesses parted ways with clear objectives in mind. They only hope to achieve said tasks without needing to cross paths with each other.

Moving over to Luna, she was walking up the stairs of the tower. She was doubtful at the guards ability to find the filly. Who knows if she was bold enough to attempt to fly home. If so, that might cause some other issues in it of itself.

Luna: (These three months have been suffocating. The freedom of my words is limited, and my actions are non-existent. To think I have gone through this scenario countless times without knowing. It's frightening to think it might happen again...)

The door to the room was in front of her. At this point she might as well clean up the mess inside. Maybe that will be a good distraction for the doubts in her head.

While she was about to open the door, something seem to be doing it for her. It came from the inside of the room. Once it was fully opened, the eyes of a young filly met the eyes of the princess. Both then acknowledged each other in an astonish way.

Luna: *Gasp* IT'S YOU!!!

Lost Filly: PRINCESS LUNA!?

Luna was surprised at what she saw. Not only did the filly came back, but the room is cleaned up too. To think that such a young girl would have the decency to clean up her own room on her own fruition.

That's great and all, but that doesn't explain why she ran away, let alone return. Before Luna could point out such things, she needs to let the girl introduce herself.

Luna: Sorry, but before showering me in questions, can I at least get your name. (I already know her name. Is just preferable for her to say it rather than me randomly knowing.)

The Filly: Oh, yeah! my name is Lapistoria. Nice to meet you Princess Luna!

Luna: G-Good, now would you also mind telling me why you ran away?

Lapistoria: Well... you could say it's a bit of a dumb-dumb habit. I take mornings glides to start my day. Today I woke up a bit drowsy, so when I realized I was in Canterlot I immediately got lost for a while.

And with that, Luna's confusion was put to ease. Still, is certainly impressive how this girl is showing calmness in a moment of uncertainty. She's not showing any signs of concern, nor stress.

Lapistoria: I know I should be screaming out stuff like: "WHY THE HECK AM I HERE!?" or "PLEASE, I WANT TO GO HOME!!!" But deep down I feel like you want me to do something important. Am I right?

Luna: Uhhhhh...?

Lapistoria: D-Don't get me wrong! I am confused! But... I feel different...

Luna: ...

Lapistoria: I've never make my bed after coming back from flying before. Mom and Dad always say I'm an immature little girl, yet I feel a strange sense of responsibility that is un-myself.

The alicorn princesses couldn't come up with a reason to explain Lapistoria's behavior. She stared at her in silence, trying to keep a poker face as to not hint the fact that she knows something. However, it prove to be difficult for her due to the stressful three months she had to endure, so the least she could do was to not make eye contact.

Still, the young Lapistoria knew Luna was hiding lot's of stuff, and even so, she didn't want to ask. The filly jump to her bed, bouncing up and down before talking to Luna again while laying on her back.

Lapistoria: Princess Luna, do you mind if we keep on talking?

Luna: Of course, I find no issues in doing so. Anyways, do you want to know how you got here? I can't really tell you the reason until my sister comes back.

Lapistoria: No, no, no... I was thinking about taking to each other as friends.

Luna: W-What!? Friends!?

Lapistoria: Yes, come on! Let's talk about stuff! I will start; How does it feel to be a princess? Is it fun? I bet you have countless stallions lining up to be your prince. Am I right?

Luna: I-I-I-I-I- W-W-Well- Ummmm...? (Unbelievable, this girl is really something. At this point I might take a liking to her! I must keep this conversation going for the sake of my sister.)

(Then again, I wonder how she's doing?)
