Chapter 3
Ken and Davis both park their bikes in front of Yolei's Family store. They notice as Yolei rummaged through the cash register, her silver sunglasses glinted in the fluorescent lights of the store. She was in a hurry, and her actions were causing a mess around her. Suddenly, she shoved Hawkmon, causing Davis and Ken to rush over to see what was going on.
Davis and Ken were shocked by Yolei's sudden outburst. They had never seen her act this way before. As they approached the widow, she shoved Hawkmon again. "If you're not going to help me, find them, go away."
Davis points at Yolei. "What is she doing? What's with the sunglasses?"
As Yolei rummaged through her backpack searching for her lost item, her father watched from a distance with a sense of concern. "What is wrong? Yolei's father sees Davis and Ken. He walks outside, grabs Ken and starts shaking him. "What did you do to my daughter?" Ken's eyes widened in fear as the angry father's grip tightened around his collar.
Ken had no idea what the man was talking about, but he knew he had to think fast. "Sir, I swear I haven't done anything to your daughter," Ken pleaded, trying to free himself from the man's grasp. "I don't know what's going on with her, but I promise I'll do everything in my power to help her."
The father's rage softened slightly, but he didn't release his grip. "You better start talking. My daughter was fine before you dropped her off last night. Now she's acting strange, distant, like she's not even the same person. She destroyed her room looking for some device. Not even Hawkmon can calm her down."
Davis pushes in between Ken and Yolei's Father, freeing Ken. Davis pleads with her father "Let me talk to her."
Davis walks into the store over to Yolei. Yolei stormed through the Store, her eyes scanning every surface as she searched for her lost item. She had been looking for it for hours, and her patience was wearing thin. Suddenly, she felt a tap on her shoulder and turned to see Davis standing behind her with a mischievous grin on his face.
"Hey, Yolei," he said. "What are you looking for?"
Yolei narrowed her eyes at him. She didn't have time for his games. "My Digi Device," she replied curtly. Yolei was annoyed. She didn't have time for distractions. She had to find her Digi Device before it was too late. "I don't have time for this, Davis," she said. "I need to find it."
Yolei stood there, her eyes fixated on Davis's pocket. She knew that A Digi device she needed was in there, and she couldn't help but feel frustrated. She had been waiting for this moment, and now that it was finally here, she couldn't get her hands on it. "If I can't find hers, I will just take yours."
Davis, on the other hand, seemed completely oblivious to her frustration. He was chatting away. "We were all worried about you Yolei."
"Give me that device," Yolei demanded, her voice firm and unwavering. Yolei rushes Davis, Veemon into the store blocks her away from Davis. Veemon and Davis stood frozen, staring at Yolei in disbelief. They had never seen her like this before. She was fiercely intensified, and her body was emanating an aura of power that they could feel even from a distance.
"What's happening to her?" Davis whispered, his voice trembling with fear.
Hawkmon steps closer to them shook his head, equally unsure. "I don't know, but we need to be careful. She's not herself right now."
Yolei took a step forward, and Hawkmon, Davis and Veemon took a step back, their hearts pounding in their chests. They had always known Yolei to be kind and gentle, but now she seemed like a completely different person.
Ken and Wormmon rush in, Ken stands in front his friends confronting Yolei. "Yolei, what's going on?" Ken asked, trying to keep his voice steady. "Why are you acting like this?"
"Give me your Digi device or I will destroy your friends." Yolei stood there, holding out her hand as she watched Ken hesitate. She had just given him an ultimatum - choose His device or his friends.
A sound a motorcycle park in front of the store. Yolei laughs evilly. "We will see what he says to say."
Ken falls to floor holding his head as sharp pain pound in his brain. "What is happening? So, much pain!"
David looks outside a bike pulls up biker takes off his helmet it was Another Ken with Digimon Emperor hair style with golden sunglasses. "What the hell is going on now?"
Dark Ken punches Yolei's Father, he falls to the ground. As Dark enters the store walks in over to Yolei. "Hello, beautiful." He pulls Yolei into a passionate kiss. He touches his head feeling pain and looks at the real Ken on the ground. "We need to go now."
Yolei pulls on Dark Ken's arm. "I didn't find it."
Dark Ken holds her pointing to the exit. "No, come on. It must be in her room, like I told you."
Yolei looks back at her Ken. "Let's she has it on her. While he is here, we can take his device."
Yolei leans closer to Ken Wormmon attacks her. Dark Ken pulls on her hand. "Let's go, my dear."
Yolei's father stood at the door, watching his daughter leave with Dark Ken. He couldn't help but feel a twinge of sadness as he watched her go. "Yolei don't go."
Dark Ken revved up his motorcycle, the sound of the engine filling the air. Yolei ignores his father as she walked by him, she didn't hesitate, leaping onto the back of his motorcycle as he sped them away from the store.
Yolei's father stood in the doorway, watching his daughter make a decision that would change her life forever. He knew that she was about to make a mistake, but he also knew that he couldn't stop her. Yolei was her own person, and she had always been headstrong and determined. He looks down at Ken on the floor. "Who was that? Do have a twin?"
Davis helping up Ken, Ken stood before Yolei's father, his heart pounding in his chest as he tried to find the right words to say. As he fills up with sad thoughts. "No, I don't know they were. That wasn't Yolei.
Hawkmon had always been a proud and loyal companion to Yolei. He had been by her side through thick and thin, offering his unwavering support and love. But now, as he watched her walk away, his heart felt heavy, and his wings drooped. He couldn't understand why she had left him. Had he done something wrong? Was he not good enough? These thoughts swirled around in his head, filling him with a deep sense of sadness. He cries out. "Yolei!"
Davis walks over and hugs Hawkmon. He nods to Yolei's father. "We will take care of Hawkmon, until Yolei is feeling better."
They leave the store as Yolei's father is cleaning up the mess. Davis loads up Veemon and Hawkmon on his bike, same as Ken loads up Wormmon, Ken and Davis look at each other and ride away.

Moment Later at Ken's house. Hawkmon sadly sitting on Ken's bed beside Wormmon and Veemon think Yolei. Hawkmon sat on Ken's bed, his feathers drooping as he thought of Yolei. His heart ached with longing for her, and he couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong. Wormmon and Veemon sat beside him, their own expressions solemn and worried.
"I miss her too," Veemon said softly, breaking the silence. "She always knew how to make us laugh and had the best snacks."
Wormmon nodded in agreement. "And she was always there for us when we needed her."
Hawkmon let out a sigh. "I just wish we knew where she was. It's not like her to run away like this."
Davis walked into Ken's room, his eyes immediately falling on the three Digimon. "What's wrong, guys?"
Hawkmon looked up at him, his eyes pleading for answers. "We're worried about Yolei. She was gone for a day, then comes back different."
Ken enters with a tray of snacks and places on the bed in from of Digimon next to Davis. "That wasn't Yolei or me. How do we get her back?"
Davis's expression softened. "I'll do some more digging and see if I can find any information on the real Yolei's whereabouts. In the meantime, let's try to stay positive. Yolei is strong, and she'll come back to us."
"I miss her too much." Hawkmon missed her terribly. He missed the way she would stroke his feathers and whisper sweet nothings in his ear. He missed the sound of her laughter and the warmth of her embrace. He longed to be reunited with his beloved owner, but he didn't know how.
Davis leans over to Hawkmon to give him a big hug. "I do too buddy."
Ken watched Hawkmon flit nervously around on his bed, he felt a pang of sadness that he couldn't quite explain. It was as if he could sense the bird-like creature's unease, could feel the weight of his worry pressing down on his own heart. Ken nods to Davis. "Hawkmon can stay here tonight. My parents are away visiting my grandparents. "
Davis picks up Veemon, pat Hawkmon head. "No, sad thought buddy we will find soon." Davis leaves with Veemon.

Later, as the night wore on, the two Digimon huddled together on Ken's bottom bunk bed, Ken trying sleep on the top buck, when he was jolted awake by Yolei's voice. "Ken! Ken!" coming from Sam's bedroom.
Ken runs into Sam's room. He quickly enters the room. The computer was flickering gray. Yolei voice comes from the screen. "I need your help to pull me out. "
Ken's heart raced as he stared at the flickering computer screen. Yolei's voice sounded desperate, and he knew he had to act fast. He quickly sat down at the computer and began typing furiously, trying to figure out how to pull her out of the digital world. "How do I do that?"
A hand comes out from the computer screen. Ken pulled the hand and Yolei emerged from the screen, she was disoriented and confused. She looked around, trying to take in her surroundings. But then she saw Ken, and her heart skipped a beat. She could see the tears in his eyes, and she knew that something was wrong.
Ken held her tightly, his arms wrapped around her protectively. Yolei could feel his fear and desperation, and it made her heart ache. She knew that she had to reassure him, to let him know that she was okay.
"It's okay, Ken," she whispered, stroking his hair. "I'm here, I'm okay."
Ken pulled back, his eyes searching hers. "How were taken?" he asked, his voice shaking.
Yolei took a deep breath, steadying herself. "I don't know," she said. "One minute I was in my Family store, next I was tied up in a cave.
Ken looked at her incredulously, as if he couldn't believe what he was hearing. But then he took her hand, and she could feel his fingers trembling. "I'm just glad you're here."
Yolei smiled, feeling a warmth spread through her chest. As she pulled Ken closer to her, she knew that she was safe with Ken. "I missed you so much."
Ken walks over and unplugs the computer. "Let's go to my room."
Ken walks with Yolei into his bedroom. Hawkmon was sleep on the bottom buck bed with Wormmon.
Yolei gently pets a sleepy Hawkmon. "Sam's Digimon helped me. They are all trapped there unable to move on, because Daemon is keeping them there."
"I can't believe you met Sam's Digimon, and he saved you." Ken's heart swelled with joy as he watched Yolei's eyes light up with happiness. He had missed her so much during her absence and seeing her again was like a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day. He couldn't help but smile as he gazed at her, taking in every detail of her appearance. "I am just glad you are back," he said, his voice filled with warmth and sincerity.
Yolei tears up, "Atlas Mothmon other Digimon are trapped there. We must do something. What if something happened to me and Hawkmon was stuck in that place unable to move on."
Ken held Yolei tightly, trying to comfort her as she sobbed uncontrollably. "We talk to the others tomorrow, please don't dwell on it tonight, you need to rest."
Ken's heart sank as he watched Yolei move away from him. She sighs heavily, "I need to go home."
Ken knew that he had to do something to make her stay, to convince her that they were meant to be together. He reached out and took her hand, pulling her gently back towards him. "Please don't go," he said softly.
Yolei stared at Ken with a mixture of confusion and frustration. She had known him for years, and yet, she couldn't decipher his feelings for her. It was as if he was hiding something from her, something that he couldn't bring himself to reveal. "Why do you want me to stay?" she asked, her voice laced with a hint of sorrow.
Ken hesitated for a moment, his eyes darting away from hers. Yolei's heart sank. She had hoped that he would finally open up to her, but it seemed like he was still holding back. "I just...I don't want you to go," he finally said, his voice barely above a whisper. He speaks up, "It's too late for you to go home, stay in here I will sleep on the couch!"
Yolei pulls Ken back to her. "No, I don't want to be alone. Stay in here with me." Ken hesitated, unsure of what to do. He could feel the weight of the decision bearing down on him. Yolei's eyes pleaded with him, begging him to stay. He knew he shouldn't, but he couldn't resist her charm.
"Okay," he said, finally giving in. "I'll stay with you."
Yolei's face lit up with a smile, and she grabbed his hand, pulling him towards his bed. As Yolei lay there, staring at the ceiling, she couldn't help but feel a sense of sadness, thinking of Atlas Mothmon and the other Digimon stuck in the Dark Ocean World.
Ken, on the other hand, was oblivious to Yolei's inner turmoil. He had turned away from her, their bodies close each other, but not touching. Ken could feel the heat radiating from Yolei's skin, and he couldn't help but feel a stirring in his loins. He wanted nothing more than to reach out and take her in his arms, but he knew that he couldn't allow himself to touch her. He was afraid of ruining their friendship.
