Derek, Peter and I get to the lacrosse field. We head inside the boy's locker room.
" But how come you get his shirt and I get a shoe?" Isaac's voice rang out.
" We need to talk." Derek said as I was next to him. Peter comes out.
" All of us." Peter tells my cousin. I can see the shock.
" Holy shit." Scott said as I smirked.
" What the hell is this?" Scott asked as I huffed
" You know, I thought the same thing when I saw you talking to Gerard at the sheriff's station while I was holding my bleeding girlfriend." Derek told my cousin as I felt my hand go to the bullet scar.
" Okay, hold on. He - he threatened to kill my mom, Marina's Aunt. And I had to get close to him. What was I supposed to do?" Scott told Derek as I sighed.
" Wait what! And when were you gonna tell me this!" I yelled with annoyance. No one tells me anything I swear!
" I'm gonna go with Scott on this one. Have you seen her? She's gorgeous." Peter said in a snide remark, oh hell no!
" Shut up." Derek, Scott, and I yelled at the same time.
" Who is he?" Isaac asked us as I crossed my arms.
" That's Peter, Derek's Uncle. Little while back, he tried to kill us all, and then we set him on fire, and Derek slashed his throat." Scott explained to the beta.
" Hi." Peter said in a friendly tone.
" That's good to know." Isaac said quietly.
" How is he alive?" Scott asked as I shrugged, somehow I still don't know.
" Look, the short version is he knows how to stop Jackson. And maybe how to save him." Derek explained to him.
" Well, that's very helpful except Jackson's dead." Isaac replied, wait no good!
" What? You mean to tell me Kanima possessed Jackson is dead!" I exclaimed in worry, that's no good at fucking all!
" Yeah, Jackson's dead. It just happened on the field." Scott explained to us. I know this is bad!
" Okay, why is no one taking this as good news?" Isaac asked us.
" Because if Jackson is dead, it didn't just happen. Gerard wanted it to happen." Peter explained as I shook my head, this can't be happening!
" But why?" Derek asked his uncle.
" Well, that's exactly what we need to figure out. And something tells me the window of opportunity is closing. Quickly." Peter said in a quick tone of urgency We all had to find answers, so we all went to the Hale house.
" Oh. Oh, they found Stiles." Scott said as I smiled, good news yay!
" I told you, I looked everywhere." Derek said as everything looked grim to me. I took some time to think. Everything is happening so fucking fast, Jackson is dead, the enemy is on the move and we don't know what to do. I came out of it when Scott answered his phone.
" I have to see what's going on with Jackson, Mom found something." Scott said to us.
" I have to go with him." I said as Derek came over to me. We were touching foreheads, Derek gave me a reassuring kiss that told me that we would all make it out alive.
" If anything goes wrong, we find one another." Derek told me.
" I will." I replied before walking away after Scott. We got to the hospital and found our relative.
" What's happening to him?" Scott asked as I looked over it. Jackson was creating fluid from his claws. He was encased in it.
" I thought that you were gonna tell me. Is it bad?" Auntie asked as I looked at it. She looked calm at me as I made my eyes glow.
" It doesn't look good. Something tells me he is following an evolutionary process." I told them, I made my eyes stop. Jackson flinched.
" Whoa." Isaac exclaimed.
" Whoa. Um, mom, could you zip it up, please?" Scott asked my aunt.
" Okay. Okay, okay. Okay, here we go." Auntie says as she goes to zip it, however, it got stuck.
" Mom, zip." Scott exclaimed to her again.
" Okay, okay, okay, okay." Auntie says in a worried tone.
" Zip! Zip, mom, zip! Zip!" Scott exclaimed as she zipped it fast. I got my phone out and quickly dialed Derek. I had to explain all the stuff in gory detail.
They say he's in some kind of transparent casing made from the venom coming out of his claws. Derek's voice was detailed. Peter's voice was a bit hard to get cleared.
They also say he's starting to move. Derek's voice was more impatient.
Well, meaning what? It can turn into something bigger? Derek's voice was giving worry and I felt it in the bond.
He's turning into that? That has wings. His voice was with shock.
Marina, bring him to us. Derek told me as I had to breathe calmly.
" I'm not sure if we have time for that." I said as I see the bag moving.
Marina, get him out of there now - go now. Derek told me. I hung up and told them we get him out of here now. Scott and Isaac were carrying the bodybag as I kept a lookout. I see Scott drop him.
" Way to drop the venomous cargo Scotty!" I said as he picked up the bag. I hear a car behind us, I see Chris Argent get out. Oh fucking no! I let a low growl out.
" You're alone." Scott stated as Chris looked calm. I held back.
" More than you know." Chris explained as I snickered coldly.
" What do you want? After everything you've done!" I exclaimed as he looked at me.
" We don't have much in common, Scott. Marina, But at the moment, we have a common enemy." Chris explained his cause.
" That's why I'm trying to get him out of here." My cousin explained.
" I didn't mean Jackson." Chris said in a desperate tone, what was he talking about?
" Gerard has twisted his way into Allison's head, the same way he did with Kate. And I'm losing her. And I know you're losing her too." Chris said as I can smell his desperation.
" You're right. So can you trust me to fix this? Then can you let us go?" Scott says as Chris sighs.
" No. My car is faster." Chris told us.
" I'm not ok with this, if anything happens to my cousin or Derek, I won't hesitate." I said with my eyes glowing, Chris nodded. We got in his car and drove to the meeting spot. I got out first as my nerves were on fire.
" I think he stopped moving." Isaac told us, oh great!
" Where's Derek?" Chris asked us. I felt his presence. I see my mate wolf running to us, he does an air flip and looks up at us, his eyes aglow.
" I'm here for Jackson. Not you." Chris told him.
" Somehow, I don't find that very comforting. Get him inside." Derek told us, we got him inside the building.
" Where are they?" Scott asked my man.
" Who?" Derek replied back, I know what he is doing, and I know it won't end well.
" Peter and Lydia." Scott asked him in a harsher tone. Derek begins to open the bag.
" Whoa, hold on a second. You said you knew how to save him." Scott demanded.
" We're past that." Derek said in a harsh tone.
" What about..." Scott tried to explain it, but Derek wasn't having it.
" Think about it, Scott. Gerard controls him now. He's turned Jackson into his own personal guard dog. And he set all of this in motion so that Jackson could get even bigger and more powerful." Derek said in a very demanding way.
" No. No, he wouldn't do that. If Jackson's a dog, he's turning rabid, and my father wouldn't let a rabid dog live." Chris explained low, I felt my stomach drop with what came next.
" Of course not. Anything that dangerous, that out of control - Is better off dead." Gerard's voice made everything go on red and high alert. Derek goes to strike Jackson, but he is half transformed and pierces Derek's chest. My hand goes to my chest as I feel my mate's pain. Jackson throws him across the floor.
" Well done to the last, Scott. Like the concerned friend you are, you brought Jackson to Derek to save him. You just didn't realize that you were also bringing Derek to me." Gerard said in a proud tone.
" Oh for fuck sakes." I growled as I took a step back, I felt something go into my shoulder. It's an arrow, specifically Allison's. I land on my butt in pain. I pulled it out and let my eyes glow.
" Bitch" I growled as I threw it to the ground. I get up and smirk. Chris shoots at Jackson. I pressed my necklace and my trident forms. I see Gerard's surprised face.
" Oh, where have you been?" Gerard asked as I see Allison coming at me. My eyes glowing, fangs bared and claws out. Allison tried to strike me, but I push her away hard. I let my power flow into my trident and let electricity surround me like a cage.
" Get zapped bitch!" I exclaimed before seeing her go off after someone else. I feel a pain in my stomach as I let the power down. I see Derek was slashed by the Kanima, no! Allison is going for him! No!
" No, Allison!" Scott exclaimed.
" I love to see you try Argent!" I growled as I feel my mark of the dragon burning. But the kanima grabs Allison and me away. The trident goes back into the necklace stage around my neck. God damn it.
" Not yet, sweetheart." Gerard said to his granddaughter. I feel myself going back to my human state instead of my half.
" What are you doing?" Allison exclaimed to her grandfather.
" He's doing what he came here to do." Scott says as I was confused, what was my cousin up to.
" Then you know." Gerard said in a surprised tone.
" What's he talking about?" Allison asked her grandfather, who turned to her.
" It was the night outside the hospital, wasn't it, when I threatened your mother. I knew I saw something in your eyes. You could just smell it, couldn't you?" Gerard said in a venom-filled tone.
" He's dying." I concluded.
" I am. I have been for a while now. Unfortunately, science doesn't have a cure for cancer yet. But the supernatural does." Gerard said as he looked at me then at my mate! No!
" You monster." Chris exclaimed to his father.
" Not yet." Gerard said in a cold tone.
" What are you doing?" Allison cried out.
" You'll kill her too?" Chris said in a fearful tone.
" When it comes to survival, I'd kill my own son!" Gerard said flatly to his own blood, his kin.
" Scott." Gerard said in a small giddy way that made my blood boil. I felt small gusts of wind hitting me. I see my cousin looked defeated. He transformed back and walked to Derek!
" Scott don't do this!" I exclaimed as he grabbed Derek by the back of his neck!
" Scott, don't. You know that he's gonna kill me right after. He'll be an Alpha." Derek exclaimed as fear ran quickly through the bond! The wind surrounded me louder. I feel my mark of the dragon glowing.
" That's true. But I think he already knows that, don't you, Scott? He knows that the ultimate prize is Allison. Do this small task for me, and they can be together. You are the only piece that doesn't fit, Derek. And in case you haven't learned yet, there is just no competing with young love." Gerard said with a venom-filled grin! I felt my eyes change and my mark burning.
" Scott, don't! Don't!" Derek begged my cousin.
" I'm sorry. But I have to." Scott said as he forced my man's mouth open. No! Gerard rolls his sleeve up and Scott forces Derek to bite down on Gerard, in that moment of his scream, I let the water dragon out, it surrounds me as I change into my mermaid form. Scott and everyone look in shock as I motion the dragon to get Derek as Scott lets him go. I touch Derek and let the water heal him. I growled lowly, my cousin was smiling, what was he planning? I let the dragon return to the mark of my arm. I was dry and back in my human state.
" The fuck?" I said lowly as I see the arm's bite begin to bleed black.
" What? What is this? What did you do?" Gerard asked my cousin as I helped Derek up.
" Everyone said Gerard always had a plan. I had a plan too." Scott said with a smile. We watched as Gerard pulled a pill case out with his pills.
" No. No." Gerard exclaimed. He crushed them, they let a puff of black dust out.
" Mountain ash!" Gerard growled out. We watch as Gerard begins to bleed black blood and then proceeds to projectile vomits it out.
" Fucking weak." I said as I felt disgusted.
" Why didn't you tell me?" Derek asked as I sigh in relief.
" Because you might be an Alpha, but you're not mine." Scott told him. We see Gerard trying to crawl away, he looks at the Kanima.
" Kill them! kill them all!" Gerard yelled to it. He passes out, the Kanima lets its guard down as its master is no longer conscious. Allison elbows it and gets away in time for a familiar baby blue jeep to burst through a wall and nail the Kanima. I see Stiles and Lydia inside.
" Did I get him? Whoa!" Stiles exclaimed before the Knima jumped on the hood, Stiles let out a girlish scream before he and Lydia exited the jeep. Stiles runs over to Scott, but, Lydia got in front of the Kanima, something in her hand.
" Jackson! Jackson." Lydia exclaimed as she showed him something.
" Lydia" Stiles called out, Scott stopped him from going after her.
" Wait." Scott told him. We see the Kanima stop and look at the object, a key. I slowly see Jackson go half transformed. He takes the key then looks at her. Realizing what he's done, he backs away from her. He opens his arms and nods. I feel Derek leaving my side and goes to strike Jackson down. Both Derek and Peter claw into him. They both back off as Jackson is coughing hard, he lands in Lydia's embrace. Derek comes back to me. I see Lydia lay Jackson down, every Kanima scale gone.
" Where's Gerard?" Allison asked aloud.
" He can't be far." Chris replied to her. Lydia gets up and cries as she walks away from Jackson's body. I hear claws scratching the ground. Jackson's eyes open to reveal the cold steel blue of a werewolf, he lifts up and in the light of Stiles' jeep, he has become what he has always wanted. A Werewolf. He looks confused before Lydia runs up to embrace him. He looks at me and nods.
" Scratched my jeep." Stiles said as I smirked. I took Derek's hand into my own. He places a soothing kiss upon my lips. I pulled away, seeing the Argents looking at me, I don't care if they know. Gerard isn't a threat anymore.
"Let's go home." I whispered, he nods. We walk out of there and get in his car. We ride back to my place. My aunt isn't home yet, good. I go upstairs and lock my door. I opened the window. Derek comes in and kisses me.
" Everything is ok now." I whispered as he removed my clothes. I remove his clothes just as quickly. We end up on my bed as I got on top.
" It's ok." Derek whispered as I sank on his length, his eyes glowing as mine responded. Derek guided me with his hands as I bounced up and down, it all felt so good. His hand trailed to my stomach then my back as he brought me down so he could kiss me.
" You feel so god damn tight." He growled in my ear, that alone made me tighten more.
" Fuck it's amazing." He said as I lifted up. His hands found my breasts and caressed them as I kept bouncing.
" So damn needy for my cock." He says as I just became tighter.
" You can't say stuff like that." I moaned lowly. He flipped us over so he could thrust into me without my resistance, I didn't care. He was here and that's all I could ask for. I managed to get my hands on his back to pull him to me. My lips found his with no hesitation. I felt his knot catching.
" Do it, my love." I whispered. I felt my fangs growing. I licked a long stripe on his mark and sank my fangs in. He ground as his knot tied us together, his hot seed filling me deeply as I came around his member. I smile as he rubs my back. I fall asleep in his arms.
Cries and blood pool the streets as I see several red eyes glowing in the shadows and white eyes looking at them with vengeance in their tears.
I woke up to see Derek staring at me. I kissed him and we get dressed. Derek's phone rings and he answers as I was curious.
" We have to go to the Hale House." He said as I nodded. We got into his car after leaving my house. We ride over to the Hale house and we see Isaac and Peter on the property. A painted black symbol on the door forewarning the danger.
" You haven't told him everything yet, have you?" Peter asked us as I sighed, Derek and I knew this was coming.
" What do you mean?" Isaac asked as he looked at the mark.
" Why do you think Derek was in such a hurry to build his pack? So eager to strengthen his power and his number? When there's a new Alpha, people take notice." Peter asked him as I shook.
" People like who? What is this? What does this mean?" Isaac asked us as I made my eyes glow.
" It's their symbol. And it means they're coming." I told him honestly.
" Who?" Isaac asked even more concerned.
" Alphas." Derek replied to his beta.
" More than one?" Isaac asked even more scared of what is to come.
" A pack of them." Derek replied as I let my eyes cool.
" An Alpha pack. And they're not coming. They're already here." Peter said as I nodded. Derek and I just went inside the Hale House. I sat down at the desk.
" We should find a more permanent place." Derek said as I looked over at him. Was he really asking me to move in with him?
" Are you asking me to move in with you?" I asked as he smiled.
" I guess you could say that." He replied.
" Derek Hale, I would love to move in with you." I said as he came over and kissed me. We parted and I chuckled.
" My aunt is probably sick of me already." I said in a sarcastic tone as he quirked an eyebrow up.
" That sounds terrible with how you think of it. After all, you have one more year then you are all mine." Derek says with a smirk.
" Of course I am." I replied as his eyes glow.
" No one else's." Derek says in a possessive tone. I grinned.
" Never one." I say as he leans forward, placing his forehead against mine.
" Without the other." Derek replied as we just stayed like that for as long as we could manage. What we didn't know was that chaos was right around the corner.
