Chapter 4

Ken wakes up breathing heavily as looks down. Yolei is sleeping with her head on his chest, and one of her legs laying across his abdomen. He gently runs his fingers through her purple locks of hair. He starts smiling as she continues to dream. As he resumed to stroke her hair, he thought about all the things he wanted to say to her.

Ken wanted to wake Yolei to tell her how much she meant to him, how she had changed his life in ways he never thought possible. But he did not want to wake her up, not just yet. He wanted to savor this moment, to hold onto it for as long as he could. Also, a morning issue in his lower body starts to arise, but he needed to calm his body before she felt him. Ken manages to keep his issue suppressed as he just marveled in her beauty.

As the sun began to rise, Ken knew that he couldn't stay in bed with Yolei forever. They had a long day ahead of them, with plenty of challenges to face. But for now, he was content to just lie there, holding her close and watching her sleep. He knew that no matter what the future held, he would always cherish this moment, this feeling of pure happiness and contentment.

Ken gazed at Yolei's peaceful face, her chest rising and falling with each gentle breath on top of his body. He didn't want to disturb her, but the incessant ringing of his phone was breaking the silence of the delightful morning. He tried to reach for it, but Yolei's body was draped over him, preventing him from moving.

He sighed and leaned back, staring at the ceiling. The phone kept ringing, and he knew he had to answer it, his cell phone kept ringing. Yolei not opening her eyes, "Whatever it is, turn it off now."

Ken's heart raced as he heard the incessant ringing of his phone. He knew he had to answer it, but Yolei's peaceful slumber prevented him from reaching it. Ken tries to reach for his phone but is unable to reach it. He stretches flips him and Yolei fall hard on the floor, causing him to land on top of her.

"I'm sorry," he said, his voice filled with regret.

Ken and Yolei lay on the floor, dazed and confused. As they slowly regained their senses, they noticed two familiar faces staring back at them - Hawkmon and Wormmon. Hawkman's eyes lit up with joy at the sight of Yolei.

"Yolei, you're back!" he exclaimed, his wings fluttering with excitement.

Ken's heart raced as he reached for his phone over Yolei's head, trying to ignore the icy glare from Yolei. He knew would make the situation more uncomfortable, but at that moment, the phone call took precedence.

"Hello?" Ken answered, his voice shaking slightly.

Yolei lay there, her body still tingling from the intensity of Ken's weight on her. She watched as Ken moved away from her, as he was fixed on his cell phone conversation. She couldn't help but feel a twinge of disappointment, she spent the entire night Ken in the same bed, and he showed no intention of wanting to be intimate with her. She turns see a smiling Hawkmon it made her happy.

"No, the real Yolei is here with me." As Ken sat on his bottom buck beside Hawkmon and Wormmon. He kept staring at Yolei with her long purple hair and bright eyes. He couldn't believe she was here with him, in his room, she lay beside him the entire night.

Ken looks away from Yolei, as he pats Wormmon on the head. Still on the phone. "Fine talk to her yourself." Ken hands the phone to Yolei.

Yolei gingerly takes the cell phone from Ken's outstretched hand, unknowing who was on the other end. "Yes! Davis, well I escaped last night. It was the middle of the night, so I stayed with Ken. Davis, can you tell the team to come over here? I will call my father later. We have more important things to focus on."

Yolei handed Ken his cell phone back with a heavy heart, disappointment etched on her face. She had hoped for a different outcome last night, but Ken was still holding back from her. She gives him a fake smile. "Thank you."

Ken, on the other hand, was oblivious to her feelings, his mind preoccupied with the latest issues. In his head again, think of how he just screwed things up more between him and Yolei. He nods and points to the floor. "Sorry, I fell on you."

Yolei, too, felt a surge of warmth in her heart as she held Hawkmon close. "I missed you much, Hawkmon. The little bird had always been a source of comfort and support for her, especially during tough times. She looked up at Ken, who was now watching them with a newfound appreciation, and realized that maybe there was more to him than she had initially thought.

As if sensing her thoughts, Ken turned to her and said, "You know, Yolei, I may not always show it, but I value your friendship more than anything else. Let me make it up to you, I will try to cook you breakfast."

Yolei's eyes widened in surprise, and for a moment, she couldn't find the words to respond. But then, a small smile tugged at the corners of her lips, and she said, "I know you will, Ken. And I'm looking forward to eating breakfast with you." She walks with Hawkmon into the living room.

Wormmon couldn't help but feel a sense of joy as he watched his partner, Ken, smile at the sight of Yolei playing with the Hawkmon. "Ken, I love seeing you smile." As he follows Ken in the kitchen.

Later, Ken, Yolei, Wormmon, and Hawkmon sat around the table, enjoying a hearty breakfast. The aroma of bacon and eggs filled the air, making their mouths water. As Ken looked over at Yolei, he couldn't help but smile at the sight of her savoring his cooking.

Wormmon and Hawkmon still pigging out on the food. Ken smiles, enjoying their company and feeling grateful for them enjoying his meal. As they finished their meal, Ken stood up and cleared the plates. Yolei offered to help, but Ken shook his head, insisting that she relax and enjoy the morning. As he walked to the kitchen, A knock! comes from his front door.

Ken answered the door it was his friends Davis, Kari, TK, Cody, and Izzy. He lets them in walks over to Yolei who was waiting for them. Ken's heart was pounding as he looked at his friends. He knew what he was about to ask them was a big favor, but he had no other choice. Yolei thought it was a priority, and he needed their help.

They all rush over to Yolei greeting her with a lot of hugs. Yolei smiles at them. "I missed you guys so much." She hugs them back.

Ken stands in between them in front of Yolei. "Guys, I know this is a lot to ask, but Yolei needs our help," Ken said, his voice trembling slightly.

"What's going on?" Davis asked, concern etched on his face.

Ken took a deep breath and began to explain the situation. "Yolei was kidnapped by Deamon." Ken looks at Yolei, "My Brother Sam's Digimon Atlas Mothmon, helped her to escape.

Yolei stood in front of her friends, her eyes pleading with them to understand the gravity of the situation. The Digimon are trapped in the Dark Ocean world, a place so sinister and foreboding that Deamon trapped them in. But Yolei knew that they had to act fast, or else the Digimon would be lost forever.

Kari, Davis, TK, Cody, and Izzy exchanged uneasy glances. They knew that Yolei was right, but the thought of facing the unknown dangers of the Dark Ocean world made their hearts race with fear. Also, Dark Ken and Dark Yolei to deal with in the real world.

"Yolei, we understand that this is important to you," Kari said softly, "but we can't risk our Digimon or our own lives like this. Plus, we need to stop the dark altered versions of You and Ken."

Yolei's face fell, but she refused to give up. "I know it's scary and unknown place, but I promised Atlas Mothmon and the others I would help them escape from Daemon. So, they can be reborn for other children."

Davis stepped forward, his eyes blazing with determination. "Yolei's right. We can't just sit back and do nothing. We have to at least try to save them."

TK said, his voice shaking slightly. "No, first we need stop Daemon in the real world first, but we need to find the other Ken and Yolei, then will know what Daemon plan."

Cody looks at His friends exchanged worried glances, but it was he who spoke up first. "What do you suggest we do? Track down other Yolei and Ken."

Yolei looked at her friends with a mixture of confusion and disbelief. Another version of her, one that was evil. "What do mean other version of me and Ken?"

Izzy standing beside TK offers an explanation. "There is another version of you and Ken try to get our Digi devices." As soon as Izzy's words left his mouth, Yolei and Ken exchanged a worried glance. Another evil version of me? Collecting digital devices? What could this possibly mean?

Yolei looks at Ken, then her friends. "I promised Atlas Mothmon that I would find a way to help them move on."

Ken moves closer Yolei on his couch consoling her with a hug, as her looked up at his friends. "How about this we find other versions of us and stop them, then after we find a way to save the trapped Digimon."

Kari leans down to Yolei. "We do not know if those Digimon are trustworthy. How would we determine which ones were good?"

Ken pulled Yolei closer to him as she cried, her tears wetting his shirt. He held her tightly, his heart aching as he watched Kari words affected Yolei. "Yolei," he said softly, "we will do what we can to save them."

Davis stood in front of Yolei, his eyes filled with determination. "I think you need to stay with Ken until it's safe again, right now Deamon doesn't know your back. We have the upper hand right now." Davis taps Ken on the shoulder with a wink. "Keep her close."

Davis faces his other friends. "Let's split up to find other Ken and Yolei." Davis escorts Kari, TK, Cody, and Izzy out, leaving Ken and Yolei a long together.

As TK and Kari tracked down the other Ken and Yolei to apartment above one Yolei's family stores. They made their way up the stairs to the apartment, their hearts were pounding with anticipation. They knew that they were getting closer to finding the other Ken and Yolei, but they had no idea what they were going to find once they got there.

TK holds Kari's hand and points to the open door down the hallway. He smiles back at her. "I think we found their place."
