I woke up to the smell of coffee. I got up and took a deep stretch. I see Derek has a fresh cup, I grin and walk over to him. He is checking me over again.
" I'm ok, I promise. All healed no scars." I told him before giving him a small kiss and taking the coffee.
" Where are Boyd and Cora?" I asked as Derek looked at me.
" Cora is upstairs and Boyds is at home." He replied as I put on a dark blue neck and black pants. I put on my combat boots and grabbed my bag.
" I'll be ok, just promise to stay safe. I have a bad feeling." Derek said as I smiled.
Always. I replied with my eyes glowing and my voice echoing with my inner supernatural. He smirked and gave me a deep kiss. I almost wanted to melt into it as he bit my lower lip. I pulled away.
" You are a fucking tease." I said as I pressed to him. He growled lowly in my ear. I went to kiss him but stopped as I felt his breath on my lips.
" Not so fast wolf boy." I said as he had me against the fridge. Eyes glowing as I could feel his want in the bond.
" That's wolfman to you, little lady." He said as I smiled. I was let go but he whistled at me. I turned as he tossed me my bike's keys. I caught them and he tossed me my leather jacket. I smiled as I caught it.
" Maybe you can show me something with leather later." He said with that smirk that dripped lust.
" God damn it." I groaned before heading off to school. When I finally got there, I received a text from Derek.

I smiled and saw I was a bit early. I saw Miss Blake's car. I headed inside and found her class. She came in and as she saw me, let out a shriek while grabbing a teaching stick.
" What do you want? Are you gonna threaten me? Tell me that no one's gonna believe me? Try to scare me? kill me?" She asked afraid.
" Seeing if you began to become afraid of me, an eighteen-year-old girl? Or a couple of teenagers that can change?" I asked as her heartbeat got louder.
" Seeing if I'm ok? Physically or emotionally? Although I guess that presupposes I was emotionally okay before any of this. And according to my therapist, I. it's been debatable for a long time." She said as I nodded.
" You'll be ok, it's like pulling the wool off someone's eyes. You know a truth that not a lot can handle. I know you'll be ok. Some are born into my world, some are made, some become part of it but remain human." I explained as she calmed.
" Obviously, you've never taught high school. In 20 minutes, I have to start two dozen teenagers on The Crucible, and I honestly have no idea what I'm gonna say." Miss Blake said calmly.
" An allegory for McCarthyism." I said as I held my messenger satchel with one hand.
" Is that a subtle way of suggesting that I shouldn't say anything? Because I won't." She said as I smiled. I began to walk away.
" Who are you?" She asked as I looked back at her.
" I have you for English." I told her as she took a hesitant breath in but let it go.
" Should be a bit easier now." She blurted to me. I smiled and walked away. As I went about my day, I felt pretty bored out of my mind. Completing tests and finishing assignments were easy. The bell rang, I left the classroom and headed to the bathroom as I felt a sharp pain in my chest and fear in the bond.
" Derek?" I asked as I saw my eyes glow in the mirror before fading to my natural eyes. I pulled my phone out and sent a quick text.

I sent it. No response. I saw on my chest, a slowly appearing red mark.
" I'm gonna kill them." I said lowly before fixing my shirt to cover the mark. I went to my locker to pull a book out for Art.
" Can I help you?" I asked as I saw Aiden come up to me.
" Just saw you looked uneasy." He said as I saw his doe eyes trying to seduce me. Ha, nice try.
" Just trying to get through class." I said as he came to stop me.
" We know you are with Derek. And that you aren't entirely human." He said as he just got to the point. Fuck!
" And pray tell are you low bitches gonna try and do." I said as I shut my locker. He grabbed my wrist. Damn, this hurts!
" Just stay out of our way and we don't have to rip your head off." He said as I felt his claws going into my skin before letting me go and walking away. I saw I was bleeding a small bit.
" Asshole." I growled as I calmed myself. I wasn't healing fast, damn Alpha wounds. I went to class as I had my wound covered up. I was bored out of my mind. The pain in my chest finally stopped, but why would Aiden risk it? Class pretty much ended after we were given an assignment. I got out and heard growling. I followed the sound and found Scott holding Isaac down. I also see a hurt Allison. After Scott roared at Isaac, he calmed down and Scott checked on the young Argent.
" I'm sorry, I didn't... I didn't mean to do that." Isaac said as I got to him. I looked at him to reassure him that he was ok. He was apologizing to Allison then looked at me and grabbed my wrist.
" What happened?" He asked as I pulled my wrist away. Scott and Allison looked at me.
" Aiden gave me a warning. The Alpha Pack knows I'm with Derek and that I'm not fully human." I said as Scott took my wrist carefully and flipped it to see the marks Aiden gave me. They were finally healing.
" I guess now we know they want to do more than get you angry. They want to get someone hurt." Scott said as he looked me over.
" So are we gonna do something?" Isaac asked as I looked at my cousin.
" Yeah. I'm gonna get them angry. Really angry. I want you to stay out of it." Scott said as he looked at me.
" I know." I replied before going off to my next class. School went by quickly and I could smell the rain. I quickly got to my bike after the final bell rang out. I used every alley and fast way to the loft that I could. I got into the garage as the rain began to fall. The night quickly raged on with the lightning.
" Fucking christ." I said as I got to the elevator. I got to the loft floor to see Derek at the window and Isaac leaning on the wooden pillar.
" Ah... I don't get it. Look, did something happen?" Isaac asked as I entered the room, I could feel panic, worry, fear, and mostly anger coming from Derek as if he had been hiding it from the bond till now, but why? To protect me?
" It's just not gonna work with both of you here. I've already got my girl here, but now I have gotten Cora now. It's too much. I need you out tonight." Derek said as he continued to face the window. I walked over to my man and placed a comforting hand on his shoulder.
" Where am I supposed to go?" Isaac asked as I felt Derek was trying to keep Isaac safe.
" Somewhere else." Derek said low as the thunder crashed.
" Did I do something wrong, Derek?" The curly-haired beta asked.
" Isaac, go to Scott. I feel like more happened while we were at school. It gonna be ok." I told him. Isaac looked at me as I gave him a pleading look. He almost went to speak, but I shook my head. I watched Isaac pack a duffel and head out. I sat on the bed and Derek got in front of me, I placed a hand on his chest.
" What happened? During school, I felt a pain in my chest." I said as he got to my level.
" Ennis attacked me. Kali had me pinned by a bar through my chest." Derek said as I felt fear envelop me. I could smell the faintest scent of blood.
" Deucalion came to tell me to kill one of my pack, and tried to convince me to join the pack." He said as he took my hand, he flipped my wrist and felt the faint marks on it and they finally healed completely with his touch.
" Aiden made it a point that they know we are together." I told him as I felt Derek place his hand on my bite scar he placed so long ago.
" That I'm not fully human." I said as he nodded. I felt him lift me slightly so he could lay me back as he was above me.
" I will never let them get to you." He said as he flashed his eyes. I nodded as he then laid down and pulled me to him. I laid my head on his chest and listened to his heartbeat.
