Chapter 21
Matt sat on the couch in the living room, munching on a slice of hot pizza with his friends Mimi, Kari, and Joe. They were all chatting about how good the pizza was. At first, he thought it might just be a cat, scratching at the door. But as the sound grew louder and more persistent, Matt began to feel uneasy. He glanced at his friends, but they didn't seem to notice anything out of the ordinary. "Do you hear that?"
Slowly, Matt got up from the couch and tiptoed towards the hallway with them following him, the scratching was definitely coming from one of the bedrooms, but which one? He hesitated for a moment, then took a deep breath and pushed open the door to the room, seeing Daemon's Dark Digimon.
Matt points at the Digimon, "I have never seen this Digimon. It's like someone forced him change causing his dark appearance."
Matt's heart raced as he spotted the menacing figure of Daemon's Dark Digimon lurking near the door. Its eyes glowed with an eerie red light, and its sharp claws scraped against the concrete floor. Matt knew that he had to act fast before the Digimon attacked him or his friends.
Without hesitation, Matt reached into Joe's pizza box and grabbed a slice. He held it out to the hungry Digimon, hoping that it would be enough to satisfy its appetite. To his relief, the Digimon eagerly snatched the pizza from his hand and began to devour it with gusto.
Matt watched in amazement as Digimon's eyes softened and its posture relaxed. It was as if the simple act of feeding it had transformed the once-ferocious creature into a docile pet. Matt couldn't help but feel a sense of compassion for Digimon, despite its allegiance to his enemy.
As the Digimon finished the last slice of pizza, it looked up at Matt and let out a contented purr. Matt smiled and patted its head gently, feeling a sense of camaraderie with the creature. He knew that he would have to face it again in battle, but for now, he was grateful for the moment of peace and understanding they had shared. "Go, get some food and water for him."
Joe and Mimi quickly left to get water and food, when they finally made it back to the room, they could see that Matt and Kari were still there, huddled around the Dark Digimon. Joe and Mimi handed them the water and food, and then sat down next to them. They knew they were in for a long night, but they were determined to do whatever it took to save their friends.
They give the food to the Digimon, then leave him to eat with the door closed. As they stepped back into the living room, Matt couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. The events of the past hour had left him feeling drained and anxious. He glanced over at Kari, who looked equally shaken. Joe and Mimi seemed to be holding up better, but he could tell they were also on edge worried about Daemon's plans.
They all took a seat on the couch, trying to process what had just happened. Matt couldn't shake the feeling that they had just narrowly escaped a dangerous situation. He wondered if they had made the right decision in leaving Daemon's Dark Digimon locked up in the room. Would it be okay in the room? Why would Dark Ken and Dark Yolei lock him in the room without food or water?
Joe cleared his throat, breaking the silence. "So, what do we do now?" he asked, looking around at the group. "Do you think he will be okay? What happened to him? I think we should let him go."
Mimi shook her head. "I don't think that's a good idea. We don't want to draw too much attention to ourselves. And besides, who knows what harm he would cause?"
Matt nodded in agreement. "I think we need to keep quiet and lay low, wait for Izzy to get the information of the laptop."
Kari looked at him, her eyes wide. "How long will that take? What about the other Digimon?"
Matt sat nervously on the couch, his friends Kari, Joe, and Mimi gathered around him. He had just come to a horrifying realization. "I know what he is planning, that's it Daemon is going to turn the dead children's digimon into dark versions, like he did with Ken and Yolei."
Kari gasped in horror. "No, that can't be true," she said, her voice trembling. "We have to stop him."
Joe nodded in agreement. "But how do we do that?" he asked. "Daemon is too powerful. We can't take him on alone."
Mimi put a hand on Matt's shoulder. "We'll figure it out," she said, her voice reassuring. "We've faced tough challenges before, and we've always come out on top. We just have to stay strong and work together."
Matt took a deep breath and nodded. He knew that Mimi was right. They had faced incredible odds before and had always managed to come out victorious. But this time, the stakes were higher than ever before. They were fighting for the lives of innocent Digimon and the safety of the entire Digital World.
###
Izzy, Cody, Ken, and Yolei walked down the hall of the apartment building, the sound of their footsteps echoing off the walls. Each of them carried bags of food, filled with snacks, drinks, and other goodies. The bags were heavy, but with the help of their Digimon, they managed to carry them without much trouble.
Wormmon, Hawkmon, and Armadillomon walked alongside their partners, their small paws pattering on the carpeted floor. They were excited to be spending the afternoon with their friends, and they couldn't wait to dig into the food they had brought.
Ken's apartment was on the top floor of the building, and as they climbed the stairs, they could feel their muscles straining under the weight of the bags. But they pressed on, eager to reach their destination.
Finally, they reached Ken's door, and he fumbled with his keys, then Yolie reached by him knocking on the door. TK and Davis were lounging on the couch, engrossed in a movie, when they heard a knock at the door. They groaned, not wanting to pause the movie, but when they opened the door, they saw their friends Ken, Yolei, Izzy, and Cody standing outside with bags of food.
"Hey guys!" Davis said, grinning. "What's all this?"
"We thought we'd must've eaten all the food by now," Ken said, holding up a bag of chips. "And, when happened to go past one of Yolei's family stores, so we stop."
TK and Davis eagerly helped their friends carry the bags of food into the living room. As they unpacked the bags, Davis couldn't help but notice that Yolei had brought his favorite snacks.
"Hey, thanks Yolei!" he said, grinning. "You read my mind."
They all piled into the kitchen, each carrying bags of food and supplies. The kitchen was a mess, with empty pizza boxes and soda cans scattered around the room. But the group was too busy unloading their groceries to care about the mess.
Yolei placed a bag on the counter and announced, "I am going to check on Atlas Mothmon." The others nodded in agreement; she left the kitchen.
Ken was fuming with anger, as he notices Davis and TK had turned it into a complete mess. The countertop was littered with dirty dishes, the floor was sticky with spilled drinks, and there were crumbs all over the place. Ken shakes his head, "Really? Guys!"
Cody, was unpacking some groceries, watching the chaos unfold, finally spoke up. "You guys need to clean up this mess. We are guests in Ken's house, and it's not fair for him to have to deal with this."
Davis and TK looked at each other, then back at Cody. "We'll clean it up later," TK said, shrugging.
But Ken wasn't having it. "No, you'll clean it up now," he said, his voice rising. "I spent all morning this kitchen, and I'm not going to let you two leave it like this."
Davis and TK exchanged a look, then reluctantly began to gather up the dishes and wipe down the counters. Ken stood by, arms crossed, watching them with a scowl on his face.
As they worked, Cody tried to lighten the mood. "Hey, at least we know now not leave these two in charge," he joked.
Ken cracked a small smile, but his anger was still palpable. He couldn't believe his friends had been so careless and disrespectful. But at least they were cleaning up their mess. Davis starts clearing the mess off the counters, as TK sweeps up the floor.
Ken, Cody, and Izzy had just returned from the grocery store, their arms full of bags filled with fresh produce, dairy products, and meats. As they entered the kitchen, they were greeted by the sight of Davis and TK, who had been tasked with cleaning up the mess that they had made earlier.
Ken immediately went to work, organizing the fruits and vegetables in the fridge, while Cody began to put away the dairy products. Izzy, on the other hand, started to unpack the meats and separate them into individual portions, ready for cooking.
Yolei quietly tiptoed into Ken's room, careful not to wake Atlas Mothmon who was still resting from his recent battle wounds. As she sat down beside him, she couldn't help but feel a sense of sadness and concern for her friend.
Yolei could feel the weight of the Digi device in her hand as she leaned to Atlas Mothmon. The once-vibrant Digimon had been grieving since the loss of his partner, Sam. Yolei had seen the pain in his eyes and knew that she had to do something to help him heal.
As she reached out to pat his head, Atlas Mothmon slowly opened his eyes. His gaze met hers, and she saw a glimmer of hope in them. She held up the Digi device, and a smile spread across Atlas Mothmon's face.
"We got it back for you," Yolei said softly. "It was the least we could do."
Atlas Mothmon took the device from her and clutched it tightly in his claws. Yolei watched as he closed his eyes and breathed a deep sigh of relief. She knew that the device was not a replacement for Sam, but it was a connection to their bond that had been lost.
As she sat with Atlas Mothmon, Yolei felt a sense of peace wash over her. She had helped a friend in need and had brought a small bit of happiness back into his life. It was moments like these that made her grateful for the bond she shared with him.
Yolei knew that there would be more challenges ahead, but she also knew that she was not alone. Her next step was to return him to the Digital World, but now she must protect him and the other Digimon from Daemon.
Yolei watched as Atlas Mothmon lay on the bed, He was injured, and she knew he needed rest. She gently stroked his antennae, whispering soothing words to him.
As she stood up, she looked out the window and saw the sun beginning to set. She knew she needed to get some fresh air and clear her head. She quietly made her way out of the room and stepped outside.
Yolei walked into the living room and was immediately greeted by the sound of Izzy typing away on his laptop. The room was quiet, save for the soft tapping of keys and the occasional beep from the computer. Yolei couldn't help but admire Izzy's focus as he worked, his eyes fixed on the screen as his fingers danced across the keyboard.
She took a seat next to him on the couch, careful not to disturb his concentration. She wanted to know; she points to the laptop he was typing on. "Did you figure out how to stop Daemon?"
Izzy looked up from his laptop and turned to Yolei. "I'm still working on it," he said with a sigh. "Daemon is a formidable opponent, but I'm confident we can find a way to stop him."
Yolei leaned in closer, her eyes fixed on the screen. "What have you found so far?" she asked, her voice laced with concern. Izzy was lost in his work, his mind consumed by the task at hand. But then, something happened that brought him back to reality.
Yolei leaned in close to the screen, her arm brushing against Izzy's. It was a small, innocent gesture, but it sent a jolt through his body. Suddenly, he was acutely aware of her presence, of the way her hair fell across her face and the scent of her perfume.
In that moment, Izzy's mind wandered, and he imagined himself leaning in and kissing Yolei. He pictured her lips, soft and warm against his own, and the way her eyes would close in pleasure. It was a fantasy he had never allowed himself to entertain before, but now it was all he could think about.
For a moment, Izzy was lost in his daydream, Ken had been watching from the kitchen as Yolei and Izzy sat on the couch, chatting about the laptop in front of them. But as he looked on, he saw something that made his heart skip a beat.
Izzy had leaned in closer to Yolei, his eyes fixed on her lips. Ken couldn't believe what he was seeing. Was Izzy really trying to kiss Yolei? He felt a surge of anger and jealousy rise within him. Yolei was his friend, and he couldn't let Izzy take advantage of her.
Without thinking, Ken rushed into the living room and pointed out Izzy's lustful act to Yolei. "Izzy, what are you doing?"
Yolei's heart was pounding in her chest as she pushed Izzy away from her. She couldn't believe that he had just tried to touch her like that. She had always thought of him as a friend, but now she wasn't so sure. She could feel the anger boiling up inside of her as she turned and ran into Ken's arms. He held her tightly, and she felt safe for the first time since she had arrived at the party.
Ken's voice was low and dangerous as he yelled at Izzy. "Don't touch her again," he growled. Yolei could see the anger in his eyes, and she knew that he meant it. She had never seen him like this before, and it was both terrifying and exhilarating at the same time.
Izzy looked shocked and confused as he backed away from them. "I didn't mean it," he stammered. "I am sorry Yolei, something makes want you."
Yolei shook her head and buried it in Ken's chest. She didn't want to hear any more excuses from Izzy. She knew that he had crossed a line, and she wasn't going to let him get away with it. She felt Ken's arms tighten around her, and she knew that he had her back no matter what.
As they walked away from Izzy, Yolei couldn't help but feel grateful for Ken's support. She knew that she had made the right choice in running to him for help. She could feel her heart slowing down as they walked away. She thinks, what if Ken didn't really love her? Daemon is forcing him to want her.
Ken escorts Yolei into his bedroom, she cries thinking that he really didn't love her, then Daemon was forcing him to love her. She looks at him, "How do you know you really love me? It might be Daemon forcing your feelings."
Ken led Yolie into his bed, his heart racing with anticipation. He kisses her, then releases, "Yolei, I have from the moment you had slapped him in the Digital world, that day I looked into your eyes and my entire heart belonged to you. My love for has only grown more over the years. These past days making only see has my future."
Yolei's heart raced as she pulled Ken closer to her, their lips meeting in a passionate embrace. Ken's arms wrapped around her, pulling her even closer as they kissed, lost in the moment.
As they parted, Yolei gazed into Ken's eyes, her own filled with love and adoration. "I love you so much," Yolei whispered, her voice barely above a whisper. Ken's eyes softened as he smiled at her, his own love for her shining through.
A knock comes from the bedroom door as Ken is lost in kissing Yolei. Cody's voice outside, "Davis and TK finished cleaning the kitchen, you and Yolei can cook dinner."
Ken and Yolei pulled away from each other, their faces flushed with embarrassment. They had been so lost in their kiss that they hadn't heard Cody knocking on the door. Ken cleared his throat and called out to Cody, "Thanks, we'll be right there."
As they made their way to the kitchen, Yolei couldn't help but feel a little self-conscious. She had never been one to engage in public displays of affection, let alone in front of their friends. But with Ken, it was different. He made her feel alive and free, and she couldn't help but respond to his touch.
As they began to cook dinner, Yolei couldn't help but notice the way Ken moved around the kitchen with ease. He had always been a great cook, and she loved watching him work. They chatted and laughed as they cooked, enjoying each other's company.
