5 years. It's been almost 5 years since I published the story, coming up on 3 since I made the promise that I'd have the final two chapters of the Highway 35 reaction and a crack chapter by the end of '20. Guess with that time frame and failing to live up to promises I qualify to be a politician.
But in that time, you've kept coming back, you've kept me on your favorite/followed list, you've come back to the work I did put up…...it all means the world to me like words cannot describe.
I felt nostalgic after seeing the announcement that Red vs Blue was getting its final season, then that moment when I saw Burnie came back to write it, he came back to give a proper send off to something he loves and holds dear, I couldn't help but cry with joy at the return.
I wasn't expecting much when I checked the traffic on my story, but even now so many of you come here. I'm not worthy of it.
A lot has happened, I got my first girlfriend, and she ghosted me, I lost my childhood pet, I graduated with honors from my university, and now I've been accepted into the master's program of my dreams. So much has happened, plenty of ups and downs, but my yearning to write has always remained.
So, I want to say thank you, to each and every one of you, you've put a smile on this poor bastard's heart, for showing me my work still brings entertainment.
I'm not sure how far I'll end up going with the reaction fic, I've got a handful of ideas I really want to do, for certain I'll be doing the entire HW35/Acceleracers series, maybe something Naruto related cause everyone has one of those, who knows, I'm honestly really eager to get moving on the other story I've been brainstorming, I'll just keep my head up and put one front of the other and see where it takes me, and I hope you'll be there to join me every step of the journey.
Also, DILF Jaune just built so many fuckin' ships, WHITEKNIGHT SAILS AT LAST. I just want my precious boy to be happy all right.
I just want to say thank you all again.
Small side note, I'll be adding a poll, curious how many people would like to see my work published on Ao3 as well.
