As the Doctor started to come around all the extra energy was being pulled into the heart of the TARDIS filtering it out of the air. The Master hit the Doctor on the back a few times to get the extra energy out of him they really needed tea about now but that was a side issue the problem was the TARDIS was on her back and so was the interior. Harry was quicky thinking and looked through the timeline to find the best one.
"Sexy could you provide me the rope and anchor out of that room that's in one of the unused corridors please?" Asked Harry to the floor with one had touching the floor around the pool the other one holding to the railing leaving his Pere up to his dad to hold onto.
Suddenly the rope appeared, Harry grabbed it before it could go anywhere, he tied the rope off onto the rail he was holding onto wrapping his legs around the rail so he didn't float away and then pulling the anchor to him he raised himself out of the pool as much as he could with the TARDIS on her side and took a few swings of it around in a horizontal circle. Once he had a good rhythm and keeping an eye on the timeline the rope was released and the anchor sailed through the closed doors of the TARDIS.
Pulling slowly back on the rope the anchor held against the frame and Harry looked over to the Master only to get a nod off him he was also obviously looking into the timeline as well. Harry started to climb until he crawled over the top only to come face to face with a little girl.
"Hello, sorry for dropping in on you like this especially as we seem to have landed in your own garden wrecking your shed but if you give me a minute I'll be out and get her righted one of my dad's had an accident and we crashed we are all soaking wet." That said Harry flung himself over the frame and fell out then he moved to the top end of the TARDIS and got his fingers underneath the TARDIS and using both his hands and True Magic through both of them he slowly righted the TARDIS so it stood the right way up with him stood to the back of it. Coming round to the front again to see the little girl still stood there looking confused.
"Right, that sorted my dad's will be out soon we need to do some repairs, sorry I've been terrible rude I'm called the Arbitrator my dads are the Doctor and the Master, the Doctor who I call Pere is the one who's injured you wouldn't happen to have any tea would you?" Explained then asked Harry to the little girl.
"Erm?" Was all the girl could say to the teenager, suddenly both his dads came out of the TARDIS.
"Oh, I want an apple it's all I can think about, an apple, craving now that's new! Do I have cravings now?" The Doctor was going to carry on, but he quickly turned around and held the door of the TARDIS he was releasing more energy into her so it would be contained inside of her.
"Sorry did I scare you I didn't mean to its just this is going to happen for a while I'm still cooking you see?" Asked the Doctor turning back around to the little girl.
"No actually I was hoping you were here about my wall I prayed for the police and then you come in a police box from the skies are my prayers answered?" Asked the little girl to the three.
"I think we should take this inside, Doctor you need tea and urgently to settle you also Amelia here is as good a cook as me so she can help your tastebuds while we sort out her wall." Explained and decided Harry while still seeing the timeline ahead of him.
"I never told you my name or what I wanted the police for!" Exclaimed the girl to the teenager.
"I know I wanted to show you that we are the best there is to help you, you didn't even give me your name, but I know it! I also know about your bedroom wall! I know you're very scared of that wall in there, why Amelia what wrong with it?" Explained then asked Harry.
"Come into the house I'll make tea and explain." Amelia said to the three of them. They made it there with the Doctor only hitting a tree once and banging his head the Master just sighed and helped him back up, holding onto him. They got into the house and the Doctor, the Master and Harry sat around the table in the kitchen.
"If you're a Doctor, why does your box say Police?" Asked Amelia to them while holding out an apple to the Doctor she had carved a smiley face on. The Doctor took the apple she offered him only to spit it all out.
"That's disgusting. What is that?" Asked the Doctor spitting it all out of his mouth.
"An apple." Replied Amelia as though it was obvious.
"Apples are rubbish. I hate apples." Replied the Doctor putting it in his pocket after taking a bite out of it.
"You said you loved them." Amelia told him.
"No, no, I love yoghurt. Yoghurt's my favourite. Give me yoghurt." Demanded the Doctor. Amelia ran to the fridge to get him his yoghurt. The Doctor opened the container and poured it into his mouth. He spat that out too, by the time they had finished going through half the food in the kitchen the Doctor finally settled on fishfingers and custard he tried offering it to the other two they just gave him a dead pan look it was fish and desert. They didn't mind one or the other but not together.
They got the tea the Doctor needed and at least they were all fed anything the Doctor didnt eat Amelia offered what was left over to Harry and the Master, some of her dishes for her age were very good.
"So, this crack in your wall why does it scare you, Amelia?" Asked the Master gently.
"I've been told its nothing just a crack, but I can just about hear voices through it at night they're there you can hear them, but they are really, really faint you have to concentrate on the crack to hear them but not always understand them." Amelia answered after a bit of looking between the two adults.
"I think it's time you showed the three of us that crack." Ordered the Master as the three of them stood up and followed her to her bedroom.
"This wall is solid and the crack doesn't go all the way through it. So, here's a thing, where's the draught coming from?" Asked the Doctor as he ran his screwdriver over the crack.
"Wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey. You know what the crack is?" Asked the Doctor seeing the readings.
"What?" Asked Amelia.
"It's a crack. I'll tell you something funny. If you knocked this wall down, the crack would stay put, 'cos the crack isn't in the wall." Explained the Doctor.
"Where is it, then?" Asked Amelia.
"Everywhere. In everything. It's a split in the skin of the world. Two parts of space and Time that should never have touched, pressed together... Right here in the wall of your bedroom. Sometimes, can you hear the voices." The Doctor explained slightly hearing an echoing voice. He took the water glass from the nightstand, poured out the water, then pressed it against the wall, and then his ear against the other end.
"Prisoner Zero has escaped." Spoke a voice making him think, 'Prisoner Zero?'.
"Prisoner Zero has escaped. That's what I thought I heard. What does it mean?" Asked Amelia to them.
"Prisoner Zero has escaped." They heard again.
"It means that, on the other side of this wall, there's a prison and they've lost a Prisoner. Do you know what that means?" Asked the Doctor.
What?" Asked Amelia.
You need a better wall!" Explained the Master.
"The only way to close the breach is to open it all the way. The forces will invert and it will snap itself shut. Or." Explained the Doctor while looking at the other two Time Lords.
"What?" Demanded Amelia as only a child could.
"You know when grownups tell you everything's going to be fine, and you think they're probably lying to make you feel better?" Asked Harry gently to her.
"Yes." She replied looking at the teenager.
"Everything's going to be fine." The Doctor held out his hand and Amelia grasped it. With his other hand, the Doctor used his sonic screwdriver on the crack. Amelia peered around him as a bright light shone through the crack as it widened, in the dim light you could see what looked like cells.
"Prisoner Zero has escaped." They all head the voice then the Doctor took a step closer.
"Prisoner Zero has escaped." They all heard again as the Doctor widened the crack.
"Hello? Hello?" Shouted the Doctor through the crack that he had widened. A giant blue eye peered at them through the crack.
"What's that?" Asked Amelia scared. A small ball of blue electricity shot out from the crack, hitting the Doctor and causing him to fall against the bed. The crack then sealed itself shut.
"There. You see, told you it would close. Good as new." Explained the Doctor while he was being helped off the bed by the Master, Harry was running his probe over him with one hand and using true Magic with the other, checking he was alright after taking that hit he didn't need the probe but the way the TARDIS had designed it, it gave him all the information his Magic would give him both to his mind and on the probe it was like a second opinion for linguistic science medical information and Harry was comforted by that it meant he never missed anything. Harry checked both the reading the one his mind was telling him as well as the ones the sonic probe was telling him. The Doctor was perfectly fine, there was not enough electricity in that shot to do any damage to him it didn't even cause his hair to stand on end.
"So that was the Prisoner?" Asked Amelia.
"No that was his guard, which means the Prisoner escaped into here somehow!" Explained the Master before walking out into the hallway on his own letting go of the Doctor, now he had helped him stand up from being sprawled on the bed.
"Arbitrator!" Is all the Master said so he could be heard. Harry and the Doctor with Amelia joined the Master outside of the bedroom.
"There is a perception filter in the corner of the end of the hall its actually quite powerful I'm having to use my core just to see it, now I've pointed it out you should be able to as well, I've never seen a perception filter like" Harry cut off as a bell started to toll and all three Time Lords ran down the stairs.
"We've got to get back in there! The engines are phasing, it's going to burn!" Shouted the Doctor as Amelia followed them.
"But... It's just a box! How can a box have engines?" Amelia demanded of the Doctor.
"It's not a box. It's a Time machine." Answered the Doctor.
"What, a real one? You've got a real Time machine?" Asked Amelia disbelieving.
"Not for much longer if we can't get her stabilised. Five-minute hop into the future should do it." Replied the Doctor the other two were already inside the TARDIS.
"Can I come?" Asked Amelia to the Doctor.
"Not safe in here, not yet. Five minutes. Give me five minutes, we'll be right back." Explained the Doctor to her.
"People always say that." Exclaimed Amelia crossing her arms, not agreeing with him that he would return.
"Are we people? Do we even look like people? Trust me, I'm the Doctor." And with that said the Doctor followed the other two into the TARDIS.
Amelia turned around and ran into the house to pack her suitcase with what she would need to go traveling then she went running out into the back garden to wait for them.
.
.
Twelve years later the TARDIS turned up again in the same garden. The three Time lords stepped out of the TARDIS and looked around.
"Oh, you're in trouble Pere, you said five minutes, you messed up the navigation again after I went to all the trouble of completely redesigning the console unit to work mostly on automatic and you still miss the time." Harry explained to the Doctor.
"I'm not going in there you can see the timeline." Exclaimed the Doctor looking worried at Harry and the Master.
"Yes, you are, you know you are, we'll wait in the TARDIS for you." Explained the Master smirking.
"It's a good job I love you both you know!" Exclaimed the Doctor looking upset at the other two.
"Just go and get it over with Pere! You messed the navigator up again. We'll start putting the TARDIS back together fully." Instructed Harry to the Doctor.
The Doctor walked into the house and up the stairs shouting for Amelia only to get hit on the back of the head by a cricket bat. When he came around, he was in handcuffs.
"I'm sorry I'm looking for Amelia Pond, only it's been a while since I last saw her, I told her five minutes and mucked the navigator up which the Arbitrator had a go at me for and now I can't go back as it would cross my timeline, please do you know where she is I need to see her to explain and to apologise." Explained the Doctor from the floor with a massive headache from the cricket bat he knew he was going to be hit with.
"She left here about six months ago!" Was the reply he got off a woman in a police uniform.
"No but I promised I would only be five minutes, but I messed up the navigator and got the time wrong!" Explained the Doctor.
"I'm calling for back up you are currently breaking and entering my home!" She spoke into her radio informing them that she needed back up and had the guy in handcuffs.
"Also, sarge, he also knows something about Amelia Pond that went missing six months ago, he said he met her only recently!" Spoke the Policewoman in the uniform. It turned a lot more interesting when she noticed him looking at the perception filter, now he knew it was there he could just make it out as his son said he would be able to.
"You Haven't seen a silver round, cylinder with blue at the end on the top about eight inches long?" The Doctor asked hoping she would have it and give it over to him.
"Don't, just ignore it until back up arrives for you, I'll even help you once we have back up!" Begged the Doctor trying to get her to change her mind.
"What is it? What can't I see properly?" She asked as she walked towards it.
"Please just leave it until back up arrives or at least take the handcuffs off I just want to help, my name is the Doctor, I came to visit Amelia and closed the breach in her bedroom wall but there is a Prisoner loose in this house over there, we need back up." He spoke hoping to get her change her own timeline and not enter that room.
"I can't take the handcuffs off sorry, I lost the key, now what is at the end of this corridor?" She demanded right back.
"The perception filter is masking the hiding place of the Prisoner, we saw its guard when we closed the breach but then we had trouble with our transport, and as I said it's been a while. The Prisoner could still be here, and it was a high security prison they have escaped from." Spoke the Doctor again trying to get through to her, but he knew it was useless so hefting himself to his feet he looked at her.
She kept looking at the end of the corridor and so started to move off towards it the Doctor followed her he needed to get his screwdriver back and keep the monster contained. She went down to the end and somehow pushed pass the perception filter opening the door.
"Please don't go in there just shut the door until back up arrives." Begged the Doctor quietly but he knew they would be going in and so he followed slowly behind her, there on a table was his screwdriver covered in slime just as he knew it would be he quickly grabbed it and then tried to pull the woman out of the room only for the beast to be above the door frame and the woman saw it in all its glory, needless to say they were quickly out of that room. Shutting the door behind them.
"What was that?" Demanded the woman moving backwards along the corridor the Doctor was using his screwdriver to release the handcuffs.
"That's the Prisoner!" Spoke the Doctor.
"Will that door hold it?" Asked the Policewoman.
"Oh, yeah, yeah, course! It's an inter-dimensional Multiform from outer space…. They're all terrified of wood." Replied the Doctor sarcastically. A bright light flashed around the edges of the door.
"What's that? What's it doing?" Demand the Policewoman.
"I don't know, getting dressed? Run. Just go. Your back-up's coming, I'll be fine." Explained the Doctor.
"There is no back-up." She told him which he knew but he was hoping to get out of the house.
"I heard you on the radio, you called for back-up." He spoke then saw further into the timeline as it become clearer as he started to heal.
"I was pretending. It's a pretend radio." She explained to the Doctor.
"You're a Policewoman." Spoke the Doctor looking confused.
"I'm a kissogram!" Explained the woman. At that moment, the door to the mystery room fell into the hallway to show a man in blue coveralls holding the lead to a large Rottweiler. He walked forward into the hall.
"But it's just" Started to speak the woman looking confused.
"No, it isn't. Look at the faces." The Doctor interrupted her. The man growled and barked while the dog remained impassive.
"What? I'm sorry, but what?" Asked the woman while looking at the alien.
"It's all one creature. One creature disguised as two. Clever old Multiform. A bit of a rush job, though. Got the voice a bit muddled, did you? Mind you, where did you get the pattern from? You'd need a psychic link, a live feed. How did you fix that?" Spoke the Doctor with contempt, the one creature turned as one and snarled at the Doctor.
"Stay, boy!" He demanded of the creature that was advancing on them.
"Her and me, we're safe. Want to know why? She sent for back-up." Spoke the Doctor trying to buy time.
"I didn't send for back-up!" Explained the woman.
"I know, that was a clever lie to save our lives…. Ok, yeah! No back-up! And that's why we're safe. Alone, we're not a threat to you. If we had back-up! Then you'd have to kill us!" Spoke the Doctor while worrying about the timeline.
"Attention, Prisoner Zero. The human residence is surrounded. Attention Prisoner Zero. The human residence is surrounded." They heard from outside in a very loud voice.
"What's that?" Asked the woman.
"That would be back-up…. Okay one more time. We do have back-up and that's definitely why we're safe." Explained the Doctor.
"Prisoner Zero will vacate the human residence or the human residence will be incinerated." Spoke a voice from outside.
"Well, safe apart from, you know, incineration." Spoke the Doctor with a bit of humour in his voice. The creature turned into one of the other rooms off the hall. As the Voice repeated its warning, the Doctor banged the screwdriver on the floor in an attempt to get it to work Properly again. He had got the handcuffs off, but his screwdriver obviously wasn't fit for this new body.
"Work, work, work. C'mon." Demanded the Doctor. In the end the Doctor gave up and grabbing the woman's hand they ran out of the house.
"Kissogram?" He asked her.
"Yes!" She replied.
"Why'd you pretend to be a Policewoman?" He asked her next.
"You broke into my house! It was this or a French maid outfit! Now what's going on?" Demanded the Woman.
"An alien convict is hiding in your spare room disguised as a man and a dog, and some other aliens are about to incinerate your house. Any questions?" Explained and asked the Doctor as he led her to the TARDIS.
"Yes." Replied the woman to him.
"No, no, don't do that, not now! It's still rebuilding, not letting me take you into her it's blocking the both of us, so it doesn't kill you. The Arbitrator and the Master will follow my timeline and sort the inside out while we deal with the Multiform!" Explained the Doctor trying to get back into the TARDIS.
"Prisoner Zero will vacate the human residence or the human residence will be incinerated." The creature still in the form of the man and dog watched from inside of the window of the front bedroom, it watched from the window, barking at them.
"Come on." Shouted the woman and grabbed him by the arm.
"No, wait, hang on, wait, wait, wait. The shed. we destroyed that shed last time we were here, smashed it to pieces." Exclaimed the Doctor running over to it.
So, there's a new one. Let's go." She told him trying to get him away from the shed as he knew she would.
"But the new one's got old. It's ten years old at least. twelve years. I'm not six months late, I'm twelve years late." Spoke the Doctor shocked after tasting the shed to find out everything he could.
"He's coming." Announced the woman trying to get him away from the shed.
"You said six months. Why did you say six months?" Demanded the Doctor.
"We've got to go." Said the woman dismissively to the Doctor hoping he would concentrate more on leaving.
"This matters to me! This is important. Why did you say six months?" Demanded the Doctor off her again.
"Why did you say five minutes?" Shouted the woman at him in anger.
"What?" Asked the Doctor shocked this was Amelia in front of him.
"Prisoner Zero will vacate the human residence or the human residence will be incinerated." They ran out of the back garden holding hands past the creature who was standing at the back door running around to the front of the house. They Released each other hands once they were out of the garden and safer. They made their way up a country Lane with old stone walls at chest hight laid on either side of it before slowing down and walking at an ordinary pace.
"You're Amelia." Asked the Doctor as they walked up the Lane.
"You're late!" She spoke while still walking.
"Amelia Pond, you're the little girl." Aked the Doctor for conformation.
"I'm Amelia and you're late! What happened? Twelve years. I waited!" She asked him then explained.
"You hit me with a cricket bat." He told her in a pained voice that hit still hurt.
"Twelve years." Was Amelia Ponds only response to the fact she had hit him hard.
"A cricket bat over the head!" The Doctor came back with.
"Twelve years and four psychiatrists. I kept biting them. They said you weren't real that I had imagined it." She answered back to the Doctor. The came to the end of the lane and it opened on the right to a village green in the middle of the village.
"Prisoner Zero will vacate the human residence or the human residence will be incinerated." Spoke the voice again for them to hear coming from an ice cream van next to the village green, houses were all around it and people were milling about this seemed to be the middle of the village.
"No, no, come on… What? We're being stalked by an ice-cream van now?" Asked Amelia as the Doctor led her in that direction.
"What's that? Why are you playing that?" Asked the Doctor to the ice cream man who was fiddling with the wires for the speakers that he played music through as well as the ice cream van tune when he went on his round.
"It's supposed to be Claire De Lune." The ice cream man told him. The Doctor picked up the radio the speakers were currently connected to and listened.
"Prisoner Zero will vacate the human residence or the human residence will be incinerated. Repeat, Prisoner Zero will vacate the human residence or the human residence will be incinerated." They heard through the radio.
"It just keeps on repeating that." The Doctor stepped away from the van and saw a jogger with a MP3 player receiving the message as well as a woman hearing it over her mobile.
"Doctor, what's happening?" Demanded Amelia only for the Doctor to run across the road that the ice cream van was parked on and leap over a low white side fence into a pretty front garden and into the house. Amelia ran past the fence to the front gate following the Doctor into the open front door. one large blue eye filled the TV screen in the living room they ran into. A woman used the remote to change the channel, but they all showed the same thing and said the same thing.
"Hello! Sorry to burst in, we're doing a special on television faults in this area. Also, crimes. Let's have a look." Explained the Doctor. Looking over to Amelia still in her costume.
"I was just about to phone. It's on every channel." Explained the woman the Doctor had addressed she was an older woman probably in her sixties she had stood up when she saw the Doctor enter.
"Hello, Amy, dear. Are you a Policewoman now?" Asked the woman with the tv remote.
"Well, sometimes." Replied Amelia.
"I thought you were a nurse?" Asked the woman who owned the house in confusion.
"I can be a nurse." Was Amelia comeback.
"Or, actually, a nun." Spoke the older woman to her in confusion still.
"I dabble." Was Amelia's response.
"Amy, who is your friend?" Asked the woman finally noticing the Doctor was messing around with her television even though she had the remote, the Doctor stopped and turned to Amelia.
"Who's Amy? You were Amelia." Spoke the Doctor preferring that name.
"Yeah, now I'm Amy." Was Amelia's comeback.
"Amelia Pond…. That was a great name!" Spoke the Doctor telling the truth Amy Pond didn't sound as good he thought.
"Bit fairy tale!" was the reply he got of Amy.
"I know you, don't I? I've seen you somewhere before?" Asked the woman to the Doctor.
"Not me. Brand-new face... First time on. And what sort of job's a kissogram?" Spoke the Doctor first to the woman then he turned to Amelia and demanded to know.
"I go to special parties and then I kiss people…. With outfits and get paid for doing it. It's a laugh." Replied Amy to him explaining what she did.
"You were a little girl five minutes ago." Was the Doctors indignant response to that.
"You're worse than my aunt." Was her next reply which he found slightly funny but didn't show it.
"I'm the Doctor, I'm worse than everybody's aunt…. And that is not how I'm introducing myself." With that said the Doctor grabbed the radio that wasn't on sitting down with it and using his dying screwdriver got the same message in many different languages through the world.
"OK, so it's everywhere, in every language. They're broadcasting to the whole world." Spoke the Doctor then he put the radio down got up and went over to one of the windows in the living room. He opened it and peered out looking up at the sky.
"What's up there? What are you looking for?" Asked Amy the sky looked clear blue with a few white clouds. She saw Jeff enter the house through the door that both of them had used.
"Planet this size, two poles, your basic molten core. They're going to need a forty percent fission blast. But they'll have to power up first, won't they? So, assuming a medium-sized spaceship, that's twenty minutes…. What do you think mate? twenty minutes? Yeah, twenty minutes. We've got twenty minutes!" Explained the Doctor out loud his thoughts on what would happen and how long they had while running to the new man who had entered looking at him to measure his new hight with his hand. He had entered as the Doctor and Amy were looking out of the window in the house he had used the same door that they had entered from.
"20 minutes to what?" Demanded Amy.
"Are you the Doctor? He is, isn't he? He's the Doctor! The Raggedy Doctor. All those cartoons you did when you were little. The Raggedy Doctor, it's him. This is your raggedy Doctor, Amy!" Spoke the new man that had arrived pointing to the Doctor who was still measuring his height up against the new man.
"I know." Amy spoke quietly to the man.
"Cartoons?" The Doctor asked amused looking over to her.
"Gran, it's him, isn't it? It's really him this is who Amy was always making me help her colour in with when we were children!" Spoke the man that had entered pointing at the Doctor who had moved away from him now.
"Jeff, shut up! 20 minutes to what Doctor?" Demanded Amy the 'eye' was still on the TV, broadcasting its warning.
"The human residence. They're not talking about your house; they're talking about the planet. Somewhere up there, there's a spaceship and it's going to incinerate the planet. 20 minutes to the end of the world." He spoke while sitting down on one of the single chairs in the living room, looking through the timelines, it didn't look like the Arbitrator and the Master were going to be much help, but he had to stop the ships while letting the other two deal with the TARDIS he left the house Amy following him.
"What is this place? Where am I?" Asked the Doctor after exiting the house they were in walking around outside around the lane the house was on that was next to the village green with the ice cream van there were people milling about he was taking a good look around at what he could see.
"Leadworth." Amy answered him.
"Where's the rest of it?" Asked the Doctor looking around still.
"This is it." Was her response.
"Is there an airport?" He asked hopefully trying to look through the timelines.
"No." Was her immediate response.
"A nuclear power station?" The Doctor asked next.
"No." The Doctor got again off Amy.
"Even a little one?" The Doctor asked in hope.
"No." Was again her instant response.
"Nearest city?" Asked the Doctor hoping for something in the timeline to help him.
"Gloucester, half an hour by car." She told him.
"We don't have half an hour. Do we have a car?" Announced the Doctor then asked Amy.
"No." Was her comeback yet again.
"Well, that's good! Fantastic, that is. 20 minutes to save the world and I've got a post office. And it's shut!... What is that?" Spoke the Doctor sarcastically and then demanded at the end pointing to a pond of water.
"It's a duck pond." She explained while still following him around.
"Why aren't there any ducks?" Asked the Doctor confused.
"I don't know. There never were any ducks." Amy told him.
"Then how do you know it's a duck pond?" He asked confused still.
"It just is. Is it important, the duck pond?" She asked him.
"I don't know. Why would I know? I'm not ready, I'm not done yet I'm still cooking on the inside." The sky darkened and they both looked up. As the Doctor felt another regeneration shudder go through his body collapsing just managing to get himself to a bench to sit on before his legs gave out.
"What's happening? Why did you nearly collapse?" Demanded Amy. The sun appeared grey and flickering before returning to close to normal.
"Ive told you I'm not done yet I'm still regenerating. It takes time to settle and running around everywhere isn't helping I should be resting." The Doctor explained to Amy as he slowly got to his feet.
"So, what's wrong with the sun?" She asked him next.
"Nothing. You're looking at it through a force-field. They've sealed off your upper atmosphere, now they're getting ready to boil the planet." Spoke the Doctor to Amy while looking over the people on the village green and around it with their phones out.
"Oh, and here they come, the human race. The end comes, as it was always going to, down a video phone!" Spoke the Doctor in humour though it didn't sound it.
"This isn't real, is it? This is some kind of big wind-up." Demanded Amy to the Doctor grabbing hold of him.
"Why would I wind you up?" Asked the Doctor confused.
"You told me you had a Time machine." Amy told him.
"And you believed me." Answered the Doctor seriously.
"Then I grew up." She told him.
"Oh, you never want to do that. No, hang on, shut up, wait! I missed it. I saw it and I missed it. What did I see? I saw... What did I see?" He asked himself while hitting his own head as though to try and help him remember after telling her she didn't need to grow up. He released himself from her grip and sat back on a bench as he looked back through his memories and then he saw it, there was a nurse taking a video but not of the sky of another man, the Doctor ran off up to the man grabbing his phone off him Amy was following him close behind.
"Hey, do you mind?" The man demanded.
"Rory what are you doing here?" Asked Amy to him.
"Who's this with you. Hold on is this the Doctor you had up play when we were children, he's real, there really is the Doctor? Where are the other two?" Demanded Rory.
"Not now Rory just answer his questions." Demanded Amy of him.
"Why were you photographing that person and not the sky?" Demanded the Doctor.
"Because he can't be here there is no way he's in the hospital" Started to explain Rory.
"In a coma" They finished together the Doctor finally working it out. He walked over to the man Rory was videoing.
"There are all the guards up above from the prison you escaped from, sealing all this planet off looking for an alien and do you know what says alien more than anything else? A sonic device!" explained then asked the Doctor and with that he held his screwdriver up and turned it on full. The car alarms started blaring, windows blew out, street lamps smashed, a fire engine went past its lights and siren going with the crew running after it, just as the giant eye had come into the park and was searching for the Multiform prisoner that had escaped the Doctors screwdriver gave out making him have to drop it, causing the eye to turn away and return to wherever it was scanning around the world obviously focusing more on England no matter what the Doctor did the spaceship carried on going away. The Multiform disappeared down a drain scaring Amy even more when the Doctor turned back and couldn't find it, she had to explain to him where it had gone. It ended up in an argument with the Doctor trapped in Rory's car and Amy refusing to let him out until he told her who he really was, it took a few minutes, minutes the Doctor didn't have but he got through to her, the final evidence was the apple she had carved a smiley face into it on one side and had his bite out of the other, the apple was still as fresh as when she had given it him. Twelve years ago.
"So that thing. That! Hid in my house for twelve years?" Amy demanded of him once they released him from the car.
"A Multiform can live for millennia. Twelve years is a pit-stop to them especially if they are on the run perfect hiding place a room you never noticed rember last time it took the Arbitrator for us all to see it you never investigated it until I turned back up it could have hid out there for years more if it had wanted it came through the crack in your wall." Explained the Doctor.
"So how come you show up again on the same day the guards do? The exact same minute you show they do?" Asked Amy.
"They're looking for him but followed me. They saw me through the crack if you rember, they got a fix that was what they hit me with the blue ball of energy it was a homing beacon of sorts. They're only late cos I am." Explained the Doctor to her.
"What's he on about?" Asked a very confused Rory.
"Now, sport, give me your phone." Demanded the Doctor.
"How can he be real? He was never real." Asked Rory to Amy.
"Phone, now, give me!" Demanded the Doctor holding his hand out for it.
"He was just a game. We were kids. You made me dress up as him." Rory spoke to Amy after handing his phone over to the Doctor.
"These are all coma patients?" The Doctor asked while looking at the different coma patients.
"Yeah." Answered Rory to ruing to the Doctor.
"No, they're all the Multiform. Eight comas, eight disguises for Prisoner Zero." Replied the Doctor seeing further along the timeline.
"He had a dog, though. There's a dog in a coma?" Asked Amy confused also looking at the Doctor and the pictures he was scrolling through.
"The coma patient dreams he's walking a dog, Prisoner Zero gets a dog. Laptop! Your friend, what was his name? Not him, the good-looking one." Demanded the Doctor at the end pointing to Rory so she would understand which one he meant he needed a laptop to pull his plan off.
"Thanks!" Spoke Rory irritated at being told he wasn't good looking.
"Jeff." Answered Amy automatically.
"Oh, thanks." Responded Rory really not impressed, at Amy saying that looking at her.
"He had a laptop in his bag, a laptop. Big bag, big laptop, I need Jeff's laptop. You two, get to the hospital, get everyone out, clear the whole floor of the coma patients and any other staff. Phone me when you're done!" Instructions given the Doctor ran off to find Jeff.
"Your car, come on." Spoke Amy to Rory while running back to it and getting in.
"Hello. Laptop…. Give it to me!" Spoke the Doctor running into the house and up to Jeff's bedroom trying to get it off Jeff who was lying on the bed playing with it, when he eventually did and saw what Jeff was looking at, he told him to get a girlfriend then he started typing fast, Jeffs gran came into the room to see what all the noise was about she had heard the commotion form the living room and seen the Doctor as he had used the same entrance he had before to get into the house this time he ran up the stairs and went straight for the bedrooms she had seen him come in from the front door and wanted to know what was going on.
"The sun's gone wibbly, so right now, somewhere out there, there's going to be a big video conference call. All the experts in the world panicking at once and do you know what they need? Me. Ah, and here they all are. All the big boys. NASA, Jodrell Bank, Tokyo Space Centre, Patrick Moore." Explained the Doctor to Jeff and his gran.
"Ooh, I like Patrick Moore." Jeffs gran told the Doctor.
"I'll get you his number, but watch him, he's a devil." The Doctor told her.
"You can't just hack in on a call like that." Spoke Jeff shocked.
"Can't I?" Asked the Doctor before he held his psychic paper to the webcam.
"Who are you? This is a secure call. What are you doing?" Demanded one of the experts in a room full of others working on computers all now seeing the Doctor.
"Hello. I know, you should switch me off. But before you do, watch this." Spoke the Doctor quickly as he typed something into the computer and sent it to all of theirs, now he had hacked into their main systems he had gained access to all their computers as well on the network.
"It's here too, I'm getting it." Spoke a manger on the screen that had split in to six showing rooms full of people working at computers behind the people in charge.
"Fermat's Theorem, the proof, and I mean the real one, never seen before…. Poor old Fermat got Killed in a duel before he could write it down. My fault, I slept in. Oh, and here's an oldie but a goodie, why electrons have mass. And a personal favourite of mine, faster than light travel, with two diagrams and a joke. Look at your screens. Whoever I am, I'm a genius. Look at the sun. You need all the help you can get. Fellas, pay attention." He spoke while typing and showing them all the things he was mentioning to the two in the room he was with as well as those on the conference screen then he grabbed the phone he had borrowed off Rory and started typing into it.
"Sir, what are you doing?" Asked an expert confused.
"I'm writing a computer virus. Very clever, super fast, and a tiny bit alive, but don't let on to anyone you shouldn't have this type of technology yet you've all seen the films we don't want the internet deciding to take over the world we've got enough problems with the aliens up above us. Why am I writing it on a phone? Never mind, you'll find out. Ok! I'm sending this to all your computers. Get everyone who works for you sending this everywhere. Email, text, Facebook, Bebo, Twitter, radar dish, whatever you've got. Any questions?" Explained the asked the Doctor as he typed.
"Who was your lady friend?" Asked one man.
"Patrick, behave!" Spoke the Doctor not even looking up from the phone he was typing on.
"What does this virus do?" Asked one of the other experts.
"It's a reset command, that's all. It resets counters, it gets in the Wi-Fi and resets every counter it can find. Clocks, calendars, anything with a chip will default at zero at exactly the same time that is all it's a one off I need it to do as I said it would but you couldn't learn anything from it as it is on the phone I've got you've only got the command code. But, yeah, I could be lying, why should you trust me? I'll let my best man explain that you can trust me in this…. Jeff, you're my best man." Explained the Doctor then got Jeff to back him up which he knew he could do.
"Your what?" Demanded Jeff, the Doctor folded the laptop down so no one could see or hear.
"Listen to me. In ten minutes, you're going to be a legend. In ten minutes, everyone on that screen is going to be offering you any job you want in anything you have ever wanted to do. But first, you have to be magnificent. You have to make them trust you and get them working together they have to get this code out to everyone or the world is going to explode. This is it, Jeff. Right here, right now. This is when you fly. Today's the day you save the world and shine like the sun in the sky." Spoke the Doctor with his usual conviction that got people to see more in themselves and be magnificent if they really wanted to be.
"Why me?" Asked a shocked Jeff.
"It's your bedroom and it's your computer, you live here I'm only visiting and we are running out of time. Now go, go, go!" Explained the Doctor and with that he handed Jeff the laptop back and ran out of the house leaving Jeff to it, he phoned Amy to find out they couldn't get into the ward only for him to tell her to look into the mirror and she realised she had her uniform on, so they were back off to the ward gaining entrance moving everyone out of the way so they could see what was going on. Acquiring a vehicle was no problem for the Doctor to drive to the ward, he had seen the fire engine gong past him before and through it to be the perfect vehicle. Amy had phoned him to tell him the place seemed empty but it had been trashed with everything thrown all over the corridor they were in and that Dr Ramsden who Rory worked for and the nurses that were on duty doing their shift who were looking after the patients were dead and there was no sign of anyone that a lady who had come to visit them had told them this was how she had found it only for Amy and Rory to realise the woman who looked around forty with two young children who looked around ten with her who had told them about Dr Ramsden and the nurses on duty was the Multiform when the older woman's voice came out of the child's. Amy and Rory ran back they way they had come but ended up going into another ward room using a brush handle to block the double doors from opening they were now on the coma ward only the brush handle didn't last a second for the Multiform to crash through into the ward they were in. The Doctor wanted to know which window Amy was nearest to on the ward. She managed to count them and tell him quickly.
"Oh, dear. Little Amelia Pond. I've watched you grow up. twelve years, and you never even knew I was there. Little Amelia Pond, waiting for her magic Doctor to return, but not this time, Amelia." The Multiform told her, she didn't hear Amy's mobile ping but Amy did and looking at it all it said was 'duck' so she grabbed Rory and hit the floor just as she heard sirens and the window they were in front of was smashed in by ladders that the Doctor climbed up out of straight into the middle of the ward inbetween the two sides the Multiform to his left Amy and Rory to his right.
"Right! Hello! Am I late? No, three minutes to go. So still time." Spoke the Doctor brushing himself down.
"Time for what, Time Lord?" Demanded the creature showing she knew what the Doctor was speaking from the mouth of the woman she was still in the form of the mother and two children.
"Take the disguise off. They'll find you in a beat. Nobody dies." The Doctor explained to her.
"The Atraxi will kill me this time. If I am to die, let there be fire, let this world burn with me it wouldn't be the first, I will die along with this world." Spoke the woman who still had the two children on either side of her.
"Ok! You came to this world by opening a crack in space and Time. Do it again, just leave." Demanded the Doctor to her.
"I did not open the crack." Spoke the Multiform from the woman's mouth again.
"Somebody did." Spoke the Doctor right back.
"The cracks in the skin of the universe, don't you know where they came from? You don't, do you?" Spoke the middle woman only to carry on in one of the children's voices.
"The Doctor in the TARDIS doesn't know. Doesn't know, doesn't know! The universe is cracked. The Pandorica will open. Silence will fall." Spoke the Multiform still from her middle head but in the child's voice. There was suddenly a clicking sound.
"And we're off! Look at that. Look at that!" The Doctor announced pointing to the clock that had three Zero's on it with a dot after the first zero.
"Yeah, I know, just a clock, whatever. But do you know what's happening right now? In one little bedroom in this very small village town, my team are working. Jeff and the world. And do you know what they're doing? They're spreading the word all over the world, quantum fast. The word is out. And do you know what the word is? The word is zero. Now, me, if I was up in the sky in a battleship, monitoring all Earth communications, I'd take that as a hint. And if I had a whole battle fleet surrounding the planet, I'd be able track a simple old computer virus to its source in, what, under a minute? The source, by the way, is right here." Explained the Doctor to the Multiform. He showed her the phone he had been typing on. a bright light shined through the windows.
"Oh! And I think they just found us!" Exclaimed the Doctor his plan working as he knew it would.
"The Atraxi are limited. While I'm in this form, they'll still be unable to detect me. They've tracked a phone, not me." Spoke the older woman in the middle.
"Yeah, but this is the good bit. I mean, this is my favourite bit. Do you know what this phone is full of? Pictures of you. Every form you've learned to take, right here from this ward. Oh, and being uploaded about now. And the final score is, no TARDIS, no screwdriver, two minutes to spare. Who da man?" Explained then asked the Doctor. He was greeted by silence.
"Oh, I'm never saying that again! Fine." Replied the Doctor after that reaction.
"Then I shall take a new form." Spoke the middle woman again.
"Oh, stop it, you know you can't. Takes months to form that kind of psychic link." Spoke the Doctor in contempt.
"And I've had years." Her form glowed and Amy fell to the floor with the Doctor rushing over to her, Rory had grabbed Amy as she started to fall unconscious and helped her to the floor, so she didn't hurt herself.
"No! Amy? You've got to hold on. Amy! Don't sleep! You've got to stay awake, please." Begged the Doctor holding her.
"Doctor!" Shouted Rory looking at the shape the lifeform had taken on pointing it out to the Doctor.
"Well, that's rubbish. Who's that supposed to be?" Asked a shocked Doctor looking up at the new form that the Multiform had taken. He had not seen himself in a mirror yet.
"It's you." Announced Rory as through it was the most stupid question he had ever heard turning to look at the real Doctor.
"Me? Is that what I look like? What do the others think?" Asked a shocked Doctor to Rory.
"You don't know?" Asked Rory in shock back.
"Busy day. Why me, though? You're linked with her. Why are you copying me?" Asked the Doctor to the Multiform standing up going over to it not seeing how he could find the right timeline to follow.
"I'm not. Poor Amelia Pond. Still such a child inside. Dreaming of the magic Doctor she knows will return to save her. What a disappointment you've been." Spoke the Multiform in the image of the Doctor but with Amelia Pond as a child coming out from behind him talking. The Doctor ran back to Amy.
"No, she's dreaming about me cos she can hear me. Amy, don't just hear me, listen. Remember the room, the room in your house, the one you couldn't see! Remember you went inside. I tried to stop you, but you wouldn't listen to me, I followed you in and took out that silver tube with a blue end it was on the table. You went in the room before me. You went inside. Amy…. Dream about what you saw as we were leaving, dream about what was above the door frame." Spoke the Doctor while taking hold of her head knowing it would help Amy remember what she saw.
"No... No... No!" Screamed the Multiform as its form shifted.
"Well done, Prisoner Zero. A perfect impersonation of yourself." Spoke the Doctor in good cheer the timelines were back to him sorting this out and saving the Earth.
"Prisoner Zero is located. Prisoner Zero is restrained." Announced the guards as light shone onto the Multiform.
"Silence, Doctor. Silence will fall no matter what!" Spoke prisoner Zero then it seemed to be transported somewhere as it became les substantial until it was gone and there was a whoosh of air as the ship left.
"The sun, it's back to normal Doctor, right? That's... That's good, yeah? That means it's over right? Amy? Are you ok Amy? Are you with us?" Asked Rory to the Doctor then Amy.
"What happened?" She asked coming around.
"He did it. The Doctor did it. He sent them all away the sun is back to normal again!" Exclaimed Rory happy.
"No, I didn't." Spoke the Doctor now he knew what he had to do.
"What are you doing?" Asked Rory as the Doctor was again typing on his phone.
"Tracking the signal back. Sorry, in advance." Advised the Doctor to Rory looking up from what he was doing.
"About what?" Asked Rory with concern.
"The bill!" The Doctor told Rory before putting the phone to his ear.
"Oi, I didn't say you could go! Article 57 of the Shadow Proclamation. This is a fully established, level 5 planet, and you were going to burn it? What? Did you think no one was watching? You lot, back here. Now!" Shouted the Doctor into the phone the oncoming storm out in full then he threw the phone back to Rory.
"Ok now I've done it!" Spoke the Doctor as he started to walk out of the ward.
"Did he just bring them back? Did he just save the world from aliens and then bring all the aliens back again?" Asked Rory shocked to Amy who was getting up with the help of Rory.
"Where are you going?" Demanded Amy following him running a bit to catch up with him and Rory following her.
"The roof. No, hang on." Explained the Doctor and he walked into a room where he started to go through all the clothes collected in there from being left in the hospital by the staff who changed into their work uniforms.
"What's in here?" Asked Amy confused.
"I'm saving the world I need a decent shirt. To hell with the raggedy burnt look. Time to put on a show! After all I've still to meet my son and partner properly and they will be there they won't miss this. They are not going to be happy!" The Doctor told them as he went through all the clothes from the lockers, he was rummaging through to find something decent to wear.
"You just summoned aliens back to Earth. Actual aliens, deadly aliens…. Aliens of death and you're going through other people's clothes these belong to people you know!... Now you're taking your own clothes off! Amy, he's taking his clothes off….. Why are you watching him he said he has a child and a partner." Rory shouted the first part at the Doctor then had a go at him before he started stripping which made him shocked and then had a go at Amy facing her in the end.
"I know I've met them all still not turning away though!" Amy told him looking at the Doctor who was down to his underwear.
"If you're that bothered turn around even our son doesn't cause this much fuss when we are in a rush and I want to look good for them they will have dressed up, time for me to do the same." Spoke the Doctor in mock aspiration looking at Rory. Once he was finished dressing in the clothes he decided he liked, he looked into the mirror he looked a lot better now he thought to himself. Making his way out of the room he made for the roof as soon as he got there the ship reappeared Amy and Rory looked scared then a giant eyeball detached itself from the ship the same one seen by Amy when she was a little girl both looked terrified of it.
"So, this was a good idea, was it? They were leaving." Spoke Amy in a sarcastic voice.
"Leaving is good. Never coming back is better…. Come oooooonnnnn, theeeeeeen! The Doctor will see you now." Spoke the Doctor to the giant eyeball.
"As will the Master and the Arbitrator!" Was announced from behind them all by the Master and there they were the other two Time Lords with the TARDIS behind them all fixed and looking new and both other Time Lords had dressed to impress, they were greeting the Doctor in his new incarnation now it had settled Amy and Rory moved out of the way and the Master and Harry moved up to stand with the Doctor. The eye looked at the five on the roof the three Time Lords stood in a line with Harry in the middle and Rory and Amy behind them. Then all of them on the roof were scanned by the eye.
"You three are not of this world?" Asked The Atraxi.
"No were not but we have put a lot of effort in keeping this world safe." Spoke the Doctor.
"Is this world important?" Asked the Atraxi.
"Important? What is that supposed to mean, important? Just short of seven billion people live here. Is that important? Here's a better question. Is this world a threat to the Atraxi? Well, come on. You're monitoring the whole planet. Is this world a threat?" Demanded Harry. The Atraxi projected a hologram of the Earth with scenes from history, the Chinese army, the nuclear bomb over Hiroshima and the Dalai Lama.
No!" They finally answered.
"Are the peoples of this world guilty of any crime by the laws of the Atraxi?" Demanded the Master next.
"No." Was the answer this time after looking through scenes of the history of planet earth mainly it was of different parties and celebrations that had gone on throughout the history of Earth.
"OK. One more. Just one. Is this world protected? Because you're not the first lot to come here." Asked the Doctor the Atraxi projection showed Cybermen and Daleks, the Queen of the Racnoss, Sycorax, a Arbitratortaran, a Sea Devil and the Reapers.
"Oh, there have been so many! And what you've got to ask is... What happened to them?" Asked the Master on the other side of Harry the projection now went from the Doctors first incarnation through to the tenth before he walked through it.
"Hello. I'm the Doctor. He's the Master my partner and that is the Arbitrator our son... Basically... Run!" Spoke the Doctor with seriousness pointing out his partner and son and the Atraxi ran, some of those the Earth had been protected from scared even them silly, yet the Doctor and his family protected it always now. Suddenly the three of them heard the TARDIS screech and Harry cringed, why did they have to interfere with his designs Harry thought to himself.
"We need to get back into the TARDIS I've sorted all the dimensions back out, but the console unit is new and the Master wanted to help or hinder, going by the noise it was the latter we need to get back in there." Spoke the Harry really worried and he ran for the TARDIS with the Master in front of him the Doctor following but he stopped at the TARDIS doors to speak.
"Okay we'll meet you at your house Amy in ten minutes, the Arbitrator is right we need to sort the console unit out before it blows again if that's what's wrong!" Explained the Doctor quickly and with that the Doctor went into the TARDIS himself slamming the doors behind him. They disappeared you could tell the Doctor was driving from the noise. While Harry was sorting the console unit out underneath the actual unit the Doctor and Master were having a telepathic conversation about Amy Pond and wanting to solve the mystery of her, but the Doctor was worried they had agreed to have no new companions until their son was an adult himself they had agreed to spend his childhood with just the three of them so that he knew they were always there for him and that they loved him but he was only sixteen physically he still had just under sixty four years left before he was classed as an adult. The Master put his mind at rest saying Muklo was actually very interested in solving the mystery of Amy Pond things weren't adding up for him just like they weren't for them as well. So, they agreed between them they would get her to come with them but not tell her why. Once Harry had finished sorting the console unit out so it was how it should be without any help this time both adults knowing he knew better than them as he was taking the course to actually do everything a TARDIS should be able to do he came back up the stairs. The Doctor asked him if he was sure he wanted to invite Amy. Harry told him he was overjoyed to get a new companion they could show all the wonders of the universe to her through both Time and space while working out what was going on with her as there was something wrong but none of them seemed to know what, he had been going on about a companion since he was fifteen physically. So, the Doctor used the console unit to go to Amy Pond's house ten minutes into the future and they were off to collect her.
It was the early morning when Amy heard the noise that she had heard before and as she looked out of the window past her wedding dress, she noticed the police box. She walked out of her room and house to meet them. Just in front of the TARDIS remembering their names. The arbitrator was in the middle with the Doctor to his left and the Master to his right with the TARDIS Right behind the three of them.
"Sorry about running off earlier. Brand new body for me as you know but it caused problems for the whole of the TARDIS, bit exciting. The Arbitrator sorted out the console unit and I took her Just for a quick hop to the moon and back to run her in. She's ready for the big stuff now." Explained the Doctor.
"It's you. You all came back." Asked Amy slightly irritated at the Doctor.
"Course we came back. I always come back. Something wrong with that?" Asked the Doctor confused.
"And you kept the clothes." She asked him still slightly irritated.
"Well…. I just saved the world, the whole planet, for about the millionth time, no charge. Yeah, shoot me! I kept the clothes." Replied the Doctor. He hadn't had time to change as while their son was sorting the console unit out, he was busy talking to the Master about Amy. The Doctor was still dressed in his clothes from the hospital, a brown tweed jacket, small checkboard patterned long sleeved shirt, brown braces, brown trousers and to finish it off a red bow tie. The Master was also dressed the same from the roof of the hospital a black pinstriped suit with a dark red tie and black polished shoes the Arbitrator was dressed in black jeans black ankle boots hidden by the jean legs and a dark blue log sleeved shirt also with a thin black tie.
"Including the bow tie." She asks him slightly amused slightly sarcastically.
"Yeah, it's cool. Bow ties are cool." Replied the Doctor fiddling with it.
"Are you all really from another planet?" she asked them seriously also remembering what that spaceship has said about them.
"Yeah all three of us I told you when we met originally they were my dad's and the Atraxi told you we were not from Earth." Answered Harry for them all.
"Ooookaaay." Was her shocked response. What did she say to that admission not only had aliens said they were, but they just admitted it themselves as though it was nothing out of the ordinary.
"So, what do you think?" Asked the Master.
"Of what?" Asked Amy confused.
"Other planets. Want to check some out?" Replied then asked Harry.
"What does that mean?" She asked looking back at the Doctor.
"It means... Well, it means…. Come with us we've all talked and agreed if you want." Answered the Doctor.
"Where?" She asked him she was still in her nighty she had heard the noise and come straight out.
"Wherever and whenever you like." Answered Harry.
"All that stuff, the hospital, the spaceship, Prisoner Zero" She started to say.
"Oh, don't worry. That's just the beginning. There are loads more with a companion he can't help himself just you wait and see, you will love it!" Announced the Master with a small smile.
"Yeah, but those things, amazing things, all that stuff…. That was two years ago!" Amy started off exclaiming only to announce very annoyed that she had waited for them for yet another two years.
"Oh, oh! Oops." The Doctor actually looked sheepish about that both his partner and son always said he was a terrible driver.
"Yeah." Replied Amy.
"So that's?" Asked the Doctor.
"Fourteen years I waited!" Amy told him not impressed crossing her arms.
"Fourteen years since fish fingers and custard. Amy Pond, the girl who waited, you've waited long enough." Spoke the Doctor separating her arms and taking one side of her so that he could help her into the TARDIS when he opened it for her.
"When I was a kid. You said there was a swimming pool and a library, and the swimming pool was in the library!" She told the three of them.
Yeah. Ive put it back in there as well or the Doctor will complain he likes to read and swim at the same time he says its relaxing and as I have a massive bath like a small swimming pool myself so I've had to cut back on complaints. So, are you Coming?" Asked Harry.
"No!" She replied only they all knew she was.
"You wanted to come fourteen years ago." Spoke the Master with some humour they could all see in the timeline she would agree.
"I grew up." She told them trying to justify it standing up straighter even with the Doctor holding her arm shaking her head.
"Don't worry. I'll soon fix that. We'll all help!" The Doctor explained and Harry and the Master moved out of the way of the TARDIS doors and the Doctor snaped his fingers, the door to the TARDIS opened, bathing Amy in a warm orange glow, he released her arm as he knew what was going to happen. Overwhelmed, she entered.
"Well? Anything you want to say? Any passing remarks? I've heard them all. The TARDIS is back to how it should be with it all working properly again. The console unit for making it do whatever we want is on a floor that allows everyone to see underneath you get to it down those steps there that's the Arbitrators department he keeps saying. There are also stairs leading up to the seating area for in here and the long ones on either side are for the living area the doors at the back in the middle are for the library and that door behind the console unit off to the left is the wardrobe for period clothing." Spoke the Doctor pointing the interior out that the Arbitrator had put back together, it was only the console unit he had to work on. Harry and the Master had moved over to the console unit to get ready to send the TARDIS on her next adventure.
"I'm in my nightie." Replied Amy looking at what she was wearing as though this should be obvious still stood in the walkway up to the main floor of the TARDIS control room.
"Oh, don't worry. Plenty of clothes in the wardrobe we'll sort you a room out then you can rummage through there for clothing! So…. All of Time and space, everything that ever happened or ever will... Where do you want to start?" Spoke the Master genuinely curious to wait fourteen years and still want to come.
"You are so sure that I'm coming." She asked the three of them.
"Yeah, we are." Spoke the Doctor with a smile.
"Why?" She asked genuinely curious.
"Cos you're the Scottish girl in the English village, and we all know how that feels." Explained the Doctor.
"Oh, do you?" Amy asked him again crossing her arms.
"All these years living here most of your life…. And you've still got that accent. Yeah, you're coming." Spoke the Doctor with a smile.
"Can you get me back for tomorrow morning?" She asked them then if she was going, she had to be back by the morning but a Space and Time Traveling Ship it was too tempting.
"It's a Time machine. we can get you back five minutes from now and stay away for another fourteen years if you want as long as dad or I pilot as you've seen Pere is terrible at it. Anyway why, what's tomorrow?" Asked Harry he couldn't see in her timeline why she would be with them a while.
"Nothing. Nothing. Just... You know, stuff." She told all three of them.
"All right, then. Back in time for stuff." Proclaimed the Doctor just as a new screwdriver extended from the console unit's surface where the new receptacle had been placed by the Arbitrator.
"Oh! A new one! Lovely. Thanks, dear." Spoke the Doctor to the TARDIS patting the console unit after he grabbed the sonic screwdriver. All three were looking at her again now.
"Why me?" Asked Amy eventually.
"Why not?" Asked the Doctor seriously.
"No, seriously. You are asking me to run away with you in the middle of the night. It's a fair question. Why me?" Asked Amy to the three of them.
"I don't know. Fun. Do we have to have a reason?" Asked the Doctor back at Amy.
"People always have a reason." Spoke Amy against the Doctor.
"Do we look like people?" Demanded the Master.
"Yes." Was the reply she gave them all.
"Been knocking around on our own for a while, our choice, but I've started talking to myself, it's giving me earache. The Master is getting fed up with me talking to myself instead of him and our son is bored with spending all his time with just us or doing his work on all the courses he needs to take and learn, so we all talked, and all agreed we would show you the universe in both Time and space!" Announced the Doctor.
"You're all lonely. That's it? Just that? You're all lonely even though you're a family so you want to bring a random stranger on your travels with you?" She asked him shocked.
"Just that. Promise." Spoke the Doctor, but on a monitor behind him was a line that seemed to mimic the crack from her bedroom that none of them noticed. The other two Time Lords were behind that particular monitor and what it was sowing the Doctor was in front of it but with his back to it and that blocked Amy from seeing it.
"Ok!" She eventually replied moving further into the control room.
"So, are you Ok, then? Cos this place, sometimes it can make people feel a bit... You know." Asked the explained the Doctor.
"I'm fine. It's just... There's a whole world in here, just like you said. It's all true. I thought... Well, I started to think that maybe you were just like a madman with a box and weird family." She told them honestly.
"Amy Pond, there's something you'd better understand. It's important, and one day your life may depend on it. I am definitely a madman with a box. Plus were all weird in our own way you'll fit right in I told you we know how it feels! Ha-ha! Yeah. Goodbye, Leadworth. Hello, everything!" Announced the Doctor and Amy laughed the other two ran around the console with the Doctor joining them getting her ready to start on their first adventure all four of them had smiles on their faces. She was the little girl who waited fourteen years, she was now an adult and still wanted to come, this was the first time she had ever seen inside just what the police box was and it was mesmerising to her.
