Chapter 35
Izzy's room was filled with tension as Sora and Tai stepped in the room with Ken, who looked defeated and heartbroken. The rest of the Digi Destined were already gathered in the room, waiting for their arrival. Davis was the first to speak up, asking about Yolei's whereabouts.
Ken remained silent, his eyes fixed on the ground as he sat on the floor beside his Digimon partner, Wormmon and Hawkmon. Tai took a deep breath and spoke up, "Yolei stayed behind with Daemon in the Digital World, so he wouldn't harm us."
Ken's cry echoed through the room, and he buried his face in his hands. "Why did we let her do that?" he sobbed.
TK, always the voice of reason, spoke up. "Yolei is strong, Ken. She would have made that decision regardless of what we said. We have to trust her."
The room fell silent as everyone contemplated the gravity of the situation. Daemon was a powerful foe, and Yolei was now alone with him in the Digital World. The Digi Destined knew they had to act fast if they were going to save her.
Izzy sat in his room, surrounded by his friends. The air was thick with tension, and everyone was on edge. Joe, Cody, Matt, Mimi, Davis, TK, and Kari were all there, along with Ken, Sora, and Tai. They were all gathered around Izzy's computer, waiting for him to do something.
Ken sat on the floor, his back against the wall, while Tai leaned against him. Tai spoke up, breaking the silence. "Ken, Yolei had no choice but to stay behind with Daemon."
Sora, who was standing nearby, glared at Tai. "Why? So Daemon can make Yolei do what you did?"
Tai shook his head. "Sora, we'll talk about that later. This is bigger than me and you right now."
Ken's eyes widened as he realized what Tai and Sora were talking about. He got up from the floor and walked over to Izzy. "Send me back now," he said, his voice firm. "I will not allow Daemon to use Yolei."
Izzy looked up from his computer, his eyes wide with surprise. "Ken, are you sure? It's dangerous. You could get hurt."
Ken nodded. "I'm sure. Yolei needs me."
Davis, always the impulsive one, stepped forward to Ken. "Let's come up with a plan and go," he said with determination.
Ken's eyes burned with a fierce intensity. "If Daemon lays a finger on Yolei, I will kill him and his helpers. I love her," he said, his voice low and dangerous.
Matt, who had been standing quietly in the corner, suddenly stepped forward. "I love...I mean, care about Yolei," he said, stumbling over his words.
Izzy and the others looked at Matt with surprise. They had never heard him express any kind of romantic interest in Yolei before. But before anyone could say anything, Ken turned to face Matt. Ken, however, was not pleased. He stepped closer to Matt, his eyes blazing with anger.
"What did you say?" Ken asked, his voice low and dangerous.
Matt stood his ground, his eyes meeting Ken's. "Well, if Yolei was my girl, I wouldn't have left her with a crazy jerk who has an obsession with her," he said, his voice steady.
Ken's fists clenched, and he took a step toward Matt. But before he could do anything, Davis stepped forward and pulled him back.
"Really, Matt?" Davis said, his voice calm but firm. "You didn't stop Daemon when he took Mimi. Ken, just calm down. We will find a way to get Yolei back."
Izzy watched the scene unfold, feeling a mix of sadness and frustration. He knew that the group had been through a lot, and tensions were high. But he also knew that they needed to stick together if they were going to defeat their latest enemy.
He cleared his throat. "Guys, we need to focus. We can't let our emotions get the best of us."
Joe nodded. "He's right. We need to come up with a plan."
They all looked at Matt, who stood in the center of the room, looking down at his feet.
"Ken, I'm sorry," Matt said quietly, breaking the tense silence that had settled over the group.
Tai stepped forward, his eyes narrowed. "Yolei will be okay for now," he said firmly, his voice filled with determination.
Sora shook her head, her eyes flashing. "Why are we all so worried about Yolei?" she asked, her voice rising. "We need to stop Daemon. That's the only way we save the Digital World and the real world."
Izzy nodded, his mind racing with possibilities. He had been working tirelessly to find a way to defeat Daemon, but so far, nothing had worked. They needed a new plan, a new approach.
"Okay," he said, his voice calm and steady. "Let's focus on Daemon. What do we know about him? What are his weaknesses?"
Davis looks at Ken, then Izzy Davis hands Izzy Daemon's journal that him, Kari and TK found. Davis says, "His weakness is his love for Yolei."
Sora takes the journal reads in horror Daemon's writings affections and desires for Yolei. Sora says, "Daemon as a heart. This lovely writing, if wasn't destroying the digital world right now."
Davis looked at Ken, then handed Izzy a journal that he, Kari, and TK had found. "His weakness is his love for Yolei," Davis said.
Sora took the journal and began to read it, her eyes widening in horror as she read Daemon's writings about his affections and desires for Yolei. "Daemon has a heart," she said softly. "This lovely writing, if it wasn't destroying the digital world right now."
Izzy's mind began to race as he thought about the implications of Daemon's love for Yolei. If they could somehow use that to their advantage, they might be able to defeat him once and for all. He began to jot down notes, his pen moving quickly across the page as he brainstormed ideas.
The rest of the group watched him in silence, each of them lost in their own thoughts. They knew that this was their best chance to defeat Daemon, and they were all counting on Izzy to come up with a plan.
After several minutes of intense concentration, Izzy looked up at the group. "I think I have an idea," he said. "But it's risky, and it will require a lot of trust between all of us."
The group leaned in closer, eager to hear what Izzy had come up with. They knew that whatever it was, it had to be good if they were going to have any chance of defeating Daemon.
Izzy took a deep breath and began to explain his plan. As he spoke, the group listened intently, nodding their heads in agreement. They knew that this was their best chance, and they were all willing to do whatever it took to save the digital world.
Daemon walked with a confident stride as he led Yolei towards his house in the Digital World. His eyes gleamed with satisfaction as he looked around at the world he had conquered. The once vibrant and colorful world was now shrouded in darkness, with a red glow emanating from the sky. The trees were barren, the rivers were polluted, and the sky was filled with dark clouds. The only sound that could be heard was the sound of footsteps as they walked towards Daemon's house.
Yolei walked beside him, her head bowed in defeat. She had fought hard to protect the Digital World, but it seemed that her efforts were in vain. Daemon had taken control, and there was nothing she could do about it. She felt a sense of hopelessness wash over her as she realized that she was now at the mercy of the evil Digimon.
As they approached Daemon's house, Yolei couldn't help but feel a sense of dread. She had heard rumors about what happened to those who crossed Daemon, and she didn't want to meet the same fate. But she knew that she had to be strong and face whatever came her way.
Daemon turned to look at Yolei, his eyes piercing through her. "I have full control over the Digital World," he said, his voice cold and menacing. "And you, Yolei, are now under my control."
Yolei felt a shiver run down her spine as she realized the gravity of the situation. She was now a prisoner in the Digital World, with no way out. But she refused to let Daemon see her fear. She stood tall and looked him straight in the eye.
Yolei watched in horror as Daemon walked past her, his eyes glowing with power. She knew that she had to stop him, but she also knew that she was no match for his strength. "No," she said, her voice shaking. "You can't do this. You can't destroy the Digital World."
Daemon stopped and turned to face her, his expression cold and calculating. "I already have," he said. "And soon, you will learn to love me. My powers are too strong for you to resist forever."
Yolei's heart raced as Daemon pulled her closer to him. She tried to pull away, but his grip on her waist was too strong. She felt trapped, like a bird in a cage. She looked into his eyes, and they were cold and dark, like the abyss. She knew she had made a mistake by trusting him, but it was too late now.
He spoke again, his voice low and menacing. "Give into me, Yolei. I will make all your desires come true. I want you to love me naturally, but if I must, I will use my powers to make you love me."
Yolei's mind was in turmoil. She didn't want to love him, but she didn't want to die either. She tried to reason with him. "That wasn't the deal, Daemon. You promised to let my friends live if I stayed with you."
Daemon smirked. "They are alive and well, Yolei. You belong to me now."
Yolei felt a tear roll down her cheek. She knew she had to be strong. She couldn't let Daemon break her spirit. She looked at him with defiance in her eyes. "I will never love you, Daemon. You can use your powers all you want, but you will never break me."
Daemon's grip on her waist tightened. "We shall see, Yolei. We shall see."
Yolei closed her eyes and took a deep breath. She knew she had to stay strong, for herself and for her friends. She would find a way to escape Daemon's clutches and save her friends. She would not let him win.
As they walked towards Daemon's house, Daemon stood tall and imposing, his dark cloak billowing behind him as he addressed Dark Ken. The two men stood facing each other, their eyes locked in a silent conversation that only they could understand.
"Go place Yolei in the house I had built for her, at the edge of the forest," Daemon commanded, his voice low and commanding. "I will come visit you later, Yolei."
Dark Ken's grip on Yolei's arm was firm, but not painful. She couldn't help but feel a sense of unease as he led her towards the newly built house at the edge of the forest. It was a beautiful structure, made entirely of wood and stone, with intricate carvings and a thatched roof. It was clear that a lot of time and effort had gone into its construction.
Yolei stood in front of the house that Daemon had built for her. It was a beautiful structure, with intricate carvings and a large, welcoming door. But Yolei couldn't shake off the feeling of unease that had settled in her stomach. Why would Daemon do this to her? What did he want from her?
As she stood there, lost in thought, Dark Ken Still beside her. He grabbed her arm and started leading her towards the house. "It would be easier if you just gave Daemon what he wanted," he said.
Yolei shook her head. "I can't do that. I don't even know what he wants from me."
Dark Ken's grip on her arm tightened. "For some reason, he desires you. Sooner or later, Daemon will make you love him."
Yolei pulled away from him. "My heart belongs to another. I will never submit to Daemon."
Dark Ken looked at her for a long moment, his eyes searching hers. He knew that Yolei was strong-willed and determined, but he also knew that Daemon was powerful and cunning. He had seen firsthand what the demon could do, and he knew that Yolei was in danger.
"You need to be careful," he said. "Daemon won't give up on you easily. He's obsessed with you."
Yolei ran into the bedroom, slamming the door shut behind her. She leaned against it, her heart pounding in her chest. Tears streamed down her face as she collapsed onto the bed, burying her face in the pillow.
She had just had a confrontation with Daemon, and it had left her shaken. All she wanted was to be in Ken's arms again. She missed his kiss, the way he held her, the sound of his voice. But now, he was gone, and she was alone.
