Amy was hanging out of the TARDIS in space with the Doctor holding her foot.
"It really is a spaceship I'm in space, how am I breathing in space?" Asked a shocked Amy.
"The Arbitrator altered the space bubble around the TARDIS to extend outwards to the shields on the TARDIS so you can breathe… Hold on is that a spaceship below us?" Explained then asked the Doctor. With that the Doctor let go of Amy and made his way over to the other two who were also bringing it up on the screens around them. There was a massive city ship traveling through space.
"Doctor!" Screamed Amy as she held on to the roof, the Doctor quicky ran and brought her back in.
"Look a spaceship right under us a full city ship moving through space showing the United Kingdom flag, space ship UK, twenty ninth century the earth's sun starts solar flaring and starts to burn the planet, every country fled to the stars to get away from it this must be how the UK did it… Want to check it out?" The Doctor explained then asked her, showing her the screens the other two were using to get all the information they could on the ship under them. They landed within an open windowed room in the centre of London and started to walk towards the main market in this section. All around them it was old fashioned to say they had left in the twenty ninth century there were old phone boxes people being moved around by carts pulled by bicycles everything looked like it had gone back to the basics.
All four of them were looking around but the three Time Lords looked around with a bit of a frown. Amy hadn't realised it yet but she was still in her nightly but that wasn't the problem, neither was how the ship seemed so old fashioned for when they left the Earth. No something was seriously wrong with this spaceship. The Doctor found a restaurant and grabbed a glass of water off the table. placing it on the floor the other two looked at it as well for over a minute before the Doctor put it back. Apologizing to the couple stating he was checking for water consistency within the area. Before he joined the other three.
"Now some rules we travel through Time, but we only look we don't get involved we only observe never interfere." Spoke the Doctor.
"Okay, why?" Asked Amy for clarification.
"We are Time Lords the last of our kind, we are privileged to see Time, but we don't interfere with it only ensure the fixed points stay that way." Explained the Doctor to her.
"You're that last?" She asked shocked three of them out of a whole civilisation.
"The three of us, from a civilisation older than the earth and we are all that is left hence our careful steps." Replied the Doctor to her but he was distracted looking around. They moved along watching everything as they did, including the dolls in the cages, there was a little girl sat on a bench crying her eyes out but in silence the people just going past. Both the Master and Harry sat on a bench watching her and the people around her.
"Don't you find that strange?" Asked the Doctor taking a seat with the other two. Watching the girl.
"What?" Asked Amy joining them.
"A child crying out yet not making any sound, a child crying out, yet no one notices it, not even the parents of other children, they just carry on their day. Like it's normal like it shouldn't be talked about like it is a secret, I wonder what that is?" Spoke the Doctor then he got up and purposely bumped into the girl it took four tires before he manged what he wanted. By then the girl had run off.
"Amy, you follow the girl." Ordered the Master from the seat where the Doctor was making his way back to. Before he also sat down.
"Where did she go?" Asked Amy looking around for her.
"Deck two hundred and seven, Apple Sesame block, Dwelling fifty four A. You're looking for Mandy Tanner. Oh…. This fell out of her pocket when I accidentally bumped into her. Took me four goes. Ask her about those things, the smiling fellows in the booths. They're everywhere." Explained the Doctor handing over the card he had swiped.
"But they're just things." Spoke Amy not understanding.
"They're clean. Everything else here is battered and filthy, look at this place. But no one's laid a finger on those booths. Not a footprint within two feet of them. Ask Mandy, 'Why are people scared of the smiling things in the booths?'" Explained the Master to Amy telling her what to do at the end. All three Time Lords stood up.
"No. Hang on, what do I do? I don't know what I'm doing here, and I'm not even dressed!" Amy asked the three of them also standing up she had only been with them an hour.
"It's this or Leadworth. What do you think? Let's see. What will Amy Pond choose? Ha-ha, gotcha! Meet us back here in half an hour." Spoke the Doctor in triumph.
"What are you three going to do?" Amy asked wondering why she couldn't go with them.
"What we always do. Stay out of trouble…. Badly." The Doctor leapt over the bench ready to lead the other two away. Both Harry and the Master walked around the bench to go with the Doctor.
"So, is this how it works? You never interfere in the affairs of other people or planets, unless there's children crying?" Amy had got up and faced the three Time Lords. The two older ones looked at Harry, having an idea of what he had gone through and their promise from so long ago, then back at her.
"Yes, it is!" They said together and turned to leave walking in the other direction each taking a hand of Harry's, so they were on either side of him.
Amy followed the girl and found out she knew the Doctor had taken her ID, they started to walk together but then Amy found a no entry sign and an area cordoned off. Amy wanted to investigate it and was told by the girl they weren't allowed to they would have to go another way if she had the stamps for it, Amy wanted to know why they couldn't investigate it and the girl explained that they weren't allowed to talk about below. Amy told he to watch and learn and took out her hair pin and picked the padlock holding the flaps shut, but the little girl Mandy didn't want Amy to investigate it and tried to stop her again but Amy couldn't resist she had to look, she opened the flaps only to come face to face with a tentacle pointing out of a hole in the floor, Amy quicky backed away before it could attack her. Suddenly Amy found herself surrounded by men in black cloaks and one pointed a ring on his finger at her and she passed out she was then dragged into another room by the cloaked men, she woke up inside a sealed room with a video screen in front of her and instead of a keyboard there were four buttons remember, forget, record or protest. After the computer recognised her and how old she was, which impressed her it stated thirteen hundred and six a video stated to play for her about the star ship UK.
Amy sat in the booth and watched the video all the way though by the end she was crying, she hit forget and suddenly there was a message playing for her from her. She wondered why she had tears in her eyes but watched the video that was now playing for her.
"Amy, we have deleted the information we found out, we need to get the others back to their Time machine and leave straight away they can't investigate this you must get them to leave Amy before they find out the truth, Please get them back to their ship before they find out." Explained the Amy on the screen to herself.
.
.
.
The other Time Lords hadn't been idle either they had found their way to the engine room all listening to the walls there were glasses on the floor all sitting half full no movement in them whatsoever.
"The impossible truth in a glass of water. Not many people see it. But you do, don't you, Doctor?" Spoke a woman in a red gown with a red head cover and a white mask on.
"What? Who are you? Hold on, you know me?" Asked the Doctor turning around to talk to the woman the other two were listening in but still looking around the engine room.
"Keep your voice down. They're everywhere. Tell me what you see in the glass." The woman explained and then demanded quietly.
"Who says I see anything?" Asked the Doctor to the woman.
"Don't waste time. At the marketplace, you placed a glass of water on the floor, all three of you looked at it, then you all came straight here to the engine room. Why?" She demanded off the three of them.
"No engine vibration on deck. Ship this size, it would need a massive engine to move it you've got the whole of the United Kingdom here on board, you'd feel it in the vibration of the deck like a hum. The water would move in the glass through it. So…. We thought we would take a look. It doesn't make sense. These power couplings, they're not connected. Look, they're dummies, see? They do absolutely nothing and behind this wall, nothing it's blank just hollowed out space to make it look like it's used but it's not. If I didn't know better, I'd say there was" Explained the Master pointing out everything he was describing as he spoke before the woman butted in.
"No engines…. The impossible truth. We're travelling among the stars in a spaceship that could never fly." Finished off speaking the woman.
"Who are you? You go around in a red cloak and a white mask, and you don't know what is going on? who are you?" Demanded the Doctor.
"You're a bit hard to miss, love. Mysterious stranger, MO consistent with higher alien intelligence, hair of an idiot... I've been brought up on the stories. My whole family was. The Doctor. Old drinking buddy of Henry the twelfth. Tea and scones with Liz the second. Vicky was a bit on the fence about you, weren't she? Knighted and exiled you on the same day. And so much for the Virgin Queen, you bad, bad boy!" Spoke the woman still in her mask.
"Who are you to know that?" Demanded the Doctor of the woman again.
"I'm Liz ten. I'm the bloody Queen and there is a rot and secret at the heart of my empire I want it stopped. Will you help?" Asked the woman removing her mask she was coloured and looked young, younger than the Master and Doctor but older than Harry.
"Of course, we will the Doctor and Master and I will have this sorted in no time, now though we need to find our new companion Amy Pond. She really is new to us and we sent her off to do something else!" Explained t Harry to the Lady who identified herself as the Queen.
"Here this will take you to her, I programmed it for you to find her knowing you had split up please I need your help!" Spoke the Queen handing over a machine to the Doctor for them to find Amy with.
.
.
When the three Time Lords eventually found her following the device the Queen had given them, she was just finishing the end of the message she had left herself she hit stop and the other three time Lords moved into the voting box with her.
"Yeah, your basic memory wipe job. Must have erased about 20 minutes." Explained the Doctor after inspecting it running his screwdriver over it to find out what it did.
"But why would I choose to forget?" Asked Amy not mentioning the message she had seen and remembered.
"Cos everyone does. Everyone chooses the 'forget' button." The girl Mandy that Amy had been sent to find, answered, when Amy was grabbed, so was the little girl, Mandy but she was outside the room Amy was in.
"Did you?" Asked the Master gently to her turning so she would know he was talking to her.
"I'm not eligible to vote yet. I'm twelve. Any time after you're sixteen, you're allowed to the see the film and make your choice. And then, once every five years." started to explain Mandy to the three new arrivals.
"And once every five years, everyone chooses to forget what they've learned. Democracy in action." Continued the Doctor.
"How do you not know about this? Are you all Scottish too?" Asked the girl to the Doctor.
"Oh, we are way worse than Scottish. we can't even see the movie. Won't play for any of us three." Explained the Doctor.
"It played for me." Spoke Amy
"The difference being the computer doesn't accept us as human." Spoke the Master
"Why not? You look human enough!" Spoke Amy confused, yes, she knew they weren't human, but they looked it.
"No, you look Time Lord. We came first a long time go." Spoke Harry to both Amy and Mandy.
"So, there are others I thought you said you were the last?" Amy asked them.
"Once there were others, a whole civilisation on the most beautiful planet in this universe oh that old planet it was mesmerising yet so technologically advanced, but both the plant and the civilisation are gone now... there is just us left now out of billions. Long story. There was a bad day. Bad stuff happened, and you know what? I'd love to forget it all, every last bit of it, but I don't. Not ever. Cos this is what we do, every time, every day, every second. This… Hold tight. We're bringing down the government." Spoke the Doctor with sadness.
"Doctor are you sure we should do that?" Asked Harry.
"Yes Arbitrator, by royal mandate we are bringing this government down!" Spoke the Doctor while looking at the Master for support he got an annoyed look but a head nod of agreement in the end. The Doctor closed the doors leaving Mandy outside and pressed protest and they fell through the floor right into goo all three Time Lords and Amy.
"Where are we? I can feel the underneath it feels smooth soft organic!" Asked then explained Amy while moving around.
"Oh, this is… Hold yourself Amy stay calm and go oomph." Spoke the Doctor seeing the timeline trying to calm her down.
"Oomph" Amy said following the Doctors instructions.
"We're six hundred feet down twenty miles laterally somewhere near Lancashire I would think that means we've entered the underbelly of the city it's alive were stood on a tongue." The Doctor told her.
"What?" Demanded Amy shouting at the Doctor.
"Hold it together we can get out it's just going to take a few minutes for us to get out." Explained the Doctor trying to calm her down he did not like the timeline.
"No! Amy, stay still! To late you've started it!" Demanded Harry then explained looking at the other two unimpressed.
"What?" Amy demanded off the three of them.
"Were in a mouth on a tongue and you are moving around you've set off the gag reflex!" Explained the Doctor while pointing his screwdriver with the Master and Harry at the tongue and pointing them in opposite directions., left, right and centre.
"What does that mean?" Amy next demanded off the Time Lords.
"It means were going to be ejected like we need but it's not going to be a dignified exit! That's for sure!" Spoke the Master annoyed he also knew what was coming through Amy moving around. That was when it happened, they went flying backwards and ejected into a side ejection tube covered from head to toe in goo and sick.
"God, it stinks in here!" Amy said looking rather green at the stench that she could smell.
"That's not the pipe Amy it's us we are covered in sick from the creature's stomach…. Oh, what's this?" Explained Harry before looked forwards towards a door and asking about it.
"One door, one door switch, one condition. We forget everything we saw. Look familiar? That's the carrot." The Doctor was explaining to Amy as two faces from within the booths turned on and showed their normal faces.
"Ooh, here's the stick. There's a creature living in the heart of this ship. What's it doing there? (The faces span to show mad) No, that's not going to work on me, so come on. Big old beast below decks, and everyone who protests gets shoved down its throat. Is that how it works? (The faces span again to show anger) Oh, stop it. We're not leaving and we're not forgetting about what we have just seen so what are you fellows going to do about it? Stick out your tongues?" Demanded the Doctor to the figures in the box.
Suddenly the boxes the puppets were in opened and they moved towards the four, they were blasted apart from behind them, there in her get up was the Queen and the little girl. She shook Amy's hand the only one she hadn't met, then wiped her hand on her red gown.
"How did you find us?" Demanded the Master.
"I tagged you earlier I've been listening in nice escape by the way…. Eurgh! Lovely hair, Amy. Shame about the sick. You know Mandy, yeah? She's very brave…. So, what's the big fella doing here?" Asked the Queen.
"You're over sixteen, you've voted. Whatever this is, you've chosen to forget about it!" Exclaimed Harry to the Queen.
"No, I haven't, never voted, never chose to forget, can't do, I'm the Queen, I don't get a vote only my citizens do and they are all choosing to forget! Now come on we need to move there is a way out up ahead we need to move before those clankers reform." Explained the Queen. The four of them followed her while she held onto the little girl called Mandy's hand the four followed her through back corridors within the ship it took half an hour to get to where the Queen was leading them to. They ended up in her suite then the Queen led them all into her opulent bedroom that was set aside in what she considered her palace it was covered in half filled glasses on the floor to the left of her bed, so she had room to move around. She stripped herself down removing her mask and red gown. The Doctor picked up the mask from where she had thrown it on her bed, he was inspecting it while the other two were looking at all the glasses in her bedroom.
"It's so I remember always that my government is hiding something from me they are keeping it a secret and I want to know what it is!" Explained the Queen to the three Time Lords and Amy.
"A Queen going undercover to investigate her own kingdom?" Asked the Doctor to her.
"Secrets are being kept from me. I don't have a choice. Ten years I've been at this, my entire reign and you've achieved more in one afternoon than I ever have." Explained the Queen to them.
"How old were you when you came to the throne?" The Doctor asked as he paced with the mask in his hand walking up and down the room where there was an open space with no glasses on the floor half full but perfectly still.
"They coronated me when I was forty Why?" The Queen answered the Doctor the other five with her listening in.
"What, you're fifty now? No way you don't look it!" Exclaimed Amy looking at how young the Queen looked.
"Yeah, they slowed my body clock. Keeps me looking like the stamps, we don't have much in re-usable resources on here everything is done with stamps that families have to earn, even the population is regulated the ship can only hold so many." The Queen explained them all. The Doctor was still pacing not even looking at her but at the other two Time Lords and Amy was still staring at the Queen in shock she looked so young to be fifty only maybe ten years older than the Arbitrator.
"And you always wear this in public?" Asked the Doctor holding the mask up to the Queen, all of them were now stood up in the open area around her bed the glasses were all to the left as they entered the Suite.
"Undercover is not easy when you're me. The autographs, the bunting." Was the Queens sarcastic comment.
"Air-balanced porcelain. Stays on by itself, cos it's perfectly sculpted to your face." Explained the Doctor seeing the timeline now and he was feeling heartbroken, he looked from the Queen at the other two and they had seen it as well with the looks on their faces.
"Yeah. So what?" the Queen asked the Doctor, not understanding what the Time Lords did.
"Oh, Liz. So, everything." Explained the Doctor with sadness. Suddenly twelve men burst into the room and formed up around them all in a circle so none of them could escaped from them.
"What is going on here?" Demanded the Queen to the figures in black cloaks and coverings over their faces so they remained hidden.
"We are acting on the highest orders of the land Your Majesty." Spoke one of the men from the circle surround the six of them.
"I am the highest authority!" The Queen argued back to the man who had spoken.
"Ma'am, you penetrated the lower levels you need to come with us know this is a Royal order that has been laid down by all Royals." The same man explained to the Queen the Time lords could see that he was the man in charge of the other eleven that had barged into the suite with him.
.
.
All six of them were made to accompany the other men that had surrounded them to another chamber remaining hidden from the public, the six of them ended up in what they called the Tower of London while eleven of the men separated from surrounding her the leader stayed near her, they had them where they were ordered to bring the six of them to.
"You dare to bring me to the Tower? On whom's authority do you do this? I demand an answer you have sworn fealty to me!" Demanded the Queen her voice loud and angry, with Amy and Mandy stood near her although the three Time Lords were looking around the Tower taking it all in.
"Ma'am, please remain calm!" Spoke the same man that has spoken before to her even though he was still hiding his face the other eleven had now gone to secure the exits from the tower so none of them could escape well so they thought. the Arbitrator still had SATURN on his arm so they knew they could leave whenever they wanted but they knew in the timeline they had to now sort this out.
"The lowest point of Starship UK. The dungeon!" Spoke the Doctor while swinging around with his arms out, looking around still feeling heart broken.
"Ma'am." Spoke another man respectfully to the Queen coming up to her he was dressed normally in a tweed suit without his face covered.
"Hawthorne! So, this is where you hid yourself away? I think you've got some explaining to do." The Queen exclaimed the man's name giving his identity to Amy and Mandy, the Time Lords there knew who he was.
"There are children down here. What's all that about?" Explained then demanded the Master off Hawthorn looking directly at him after pointing to all the children around them.
"Protesters and citizens of limited value are fed to the beast. For some reason, it won't eat the children, so we put them to work to try and give them value until they are old enough to work for us and earn a living. You're the first adults the creature has spared. You're very lucky." Explained Hawthorne to all in the room.
"Yeah, look at us. Torture chamber of the Tower of London. Lucky, lucky, lucky. Except it's not a torture chamber, is it? Well, except it is. Except it isn't. Depends on your angle! And how moral you actually are!" Explained the Doctor moving over with the Queen to the Master and Harry, there was an electric current shooting from the top of the open area down into the animal below them that Harry and the Master were now looking at.
"What's that?" Demanded the Queen seeing the current shotting down from the top into something at the bottom joining the other three Time Lords at the railing.
"Well, like I say, depends on the angle and your morals. It's the exposed pain centre of big fella's brain, being tortured relentlessly." Started to explain the Doctor.
"Or?" Demanded the Queen off the Doctor for an answer.
"Or it's the gas pedal, the accelerator, Star ship UK's go-faster button." The Doctor told her feeling worse the other two Time Lords weren't doing much better than the Doctor this was horrific the Arbitrator always went on to them both how good humanity could become but they were all seeing the other side of that coin and all felling for the animal underneath them with the current shooting into its brain.
"I don't understand." Spoke the Queen gently totally confused to the three Time Lords.
"Don't you? Try, go on. The spaceship that could never fly, no vibration on deck. This creature, this poor, trapped, terrified creature. It's not infesting you, it's not invading, it's what you have instead of an engine. And this place down here is where you hurt it, where you torture it, day after day, just to keep it moving… Tell you what. Normally, it's above the range of human hearing. This is the sound none of you wanted to hear." The Doctor had pulled at a grate and a tentacle pointed out of it like Amy had already seen letting them hear the noise of the whale calling out in agony it was beyond horrifying, that sound the others all cringed at the noise they were hearing it was unbearable.
"Stop it. Who did this?" Demanded the Queen.
"We act on instructions from the highest authority." Replied Hawthorn to the Queen but all could hear him the three Time Lords were all back looking at the current stood at the rail.
"I am the highest authority. The creature will be released, now…. I said now! Is anyone listening to me?" Demanded the Queen of all the workers in the tower of London.
"Liz. Your mask." Explained the Doctor throwing it to her for her to catch trying to get her to work it out for herself, but he didn't think she would this was going to turn bad.
"What about my mask?" The Queen asked looking at it then turning to the three Time Lords.
"Look at it. It's old. At least 200 years old, I'd say." Spoke the Master, the Master had turned to face her from looking at the brain with his son. The Doctor was the nearest to her out of the Time Lords, Amy was stood next to the Queen who had moved to the middle of the room where she had been placed when they first arrived.
"Yeah, it's an antique, so?" The Queen answered the adult Time Lords looking confused at them before going on to ask what they were getting at.
"Yeah, an antique made by craftsmen over 200 years ago and perfectly sculpted to your face. They slowed your body clock, all right, but you're not 50. Nearer 300. And it's been a long old reign." Announced the Doctor to the Queen.
"Nah, it's ten years. I've been on this throne ten years." The Queen told the Doctor but all there could hear her.
"Ten years. And the same ten years over and over again, always leading you... Here." Explained the Doctor leading her to a computer centre, there was a screen like the one they had found Amy in the two buttons on this one read 'Forget' and 'Abdicate'.
"What have you done?" Demanded the Queen off Hawthorn expecting an answer he was still accountable to her, she was the reigning Queen. No matter how old she was.
"Only what you have ordered. We work for you, Ma'am. The Winders, the Smilers, all of us." Explained Hawthorn turned on the screens around the Tower of London that were normally used as surveillance to keep an eye on the citizens who lived on the ship and the one the Doctor had led her to also came to life the Queen sat down on the chair that was at the desk.
"If you are watching this... If I am watching this, then I have found my way to the Tower of London. The creature you are looking at is called a Star Whale. Once, there were millions of them. They lived in the depths of space and according to legend, guided the early space travellers through the asteroid belts. This one, as far as we are aware, is the last of its kind. And what we have done to it breaks my heart. The Earth was burning. Our sun had turned on us and every other nation had fled to the stars. Our children screamed as the skies grew hotter without us able to do anything for them or our country and then it came. Like a miracle! The last of the star whales. We trapped it. We built our ship around it and then we rode on its back to safety. If you wish our voyage to continue, then you must press the forget button. Be again the heart of this nation, untainted free of this horrifying knowledge at what we have ordered done. If not, press the other button. Your reign will end, the Star Whale will be released and our ship will disintegrate ending the population of the United Kingdom causing millions to die along with us. I hope I keep the strength to make the right decision." Spoke Queen on the screen to herself it projected on all the screens around the room and was heard by all.
"I voted for this! Why would I do that?" Asked Amy shocked to the three Time Lords.
"Because you knew if we stayed here, we would be faced with an impossible choice. Humanity or the alien. You took it upon yourself to save us from that. And that was wrong. You don't ever decide what we need to know. You will never again make that decision for us!" Spoke the Doctor with disgust at the humans in the room this was the other side of humanity that the Master saw and the Doctor was feeling as disgusted as he knew the Master would be.
"I don't even remember doing it." Amy tried to defend herself to the Time Lords.
"You did it. That's what counts!" The Master replied to her even more disgusted than the Doctor, he wasn't a fan of humans no matter what his son said about them, this just made his point.
"I'm... I'm sorry." she told them knowing she had messed up.
"Oh, I don't care. You still did it! You're going home after this!" Spoke the Doctor in true annoyance knowing what he was going to have to do to save the people on this ship.
"Why? Because I made a mistake? One mistake? I don't even remember doing it!" Amy told the Doctor but all of them there heard her.
"Yeah. we know. You're only human." The Master actually spoke to Amy in disgust turning away for her and joining Harry looking at where the current was coming from. Harry hadn't moved from the place he had been looking over the rail even he was disgusted at humanity, he had never seen this side of them. Harry felt down the bond the emotions of his dads and Harry felt disgusted himself, to do this to an animal the only one left in existence in one hundred and seventy four years he had lived he had never felt like this to another not even Riddle.
"What are you doing?" Gently asked the Queen to the Doctor who was fiddling with wire at another terminal.
"The worst thing I'll ever do. I'm going to pass a massive electrical charge through the Star Whale's brain. Should knock out all its higher functions, leave it a vegetable. The ship will still fly, but the whale won't feel it." Explained the Doctor in sheer sadness.
"That'll be like killing it!" Spoke Amy shocked.
"Look, there are only three options left to us. One: We let the Star Whale continue in unendurable agony silently screaming out unheard by anyone for hundreds of more years never heard by anyone ever again until it reaches the end of its journey and its released! Two: We kill everyone on this ship all of those left of the United Kingdom. Three: one of us murder a beautiful, innocent creature as painlessly as we can! Then we have live with that decision for the rest of our own lives! There is no happy ending here!" Spoke Harry loudly and angrily at Amy turning around from where he was looking, he was angry himself at humanity over this his dads had each other but he was the only Magical Time Lord in existence and like his mother had pointed out years ago he could have been the one entrapped into slavery at only thirty four years of mental age and only nine and a half years old physically. He had needed the trauma of what this Star whale was going through and had gone through blocked off this whale would never get that unless they took out its higher brain function to stop it.
"I will do it Arbitrator, not you, then I am the only one who going to have to find a new name, cos I won't be the Doctor anymore." The Doctor told all of them in pain over this, there was no other way the Doctor could see.
"There must be something we can do, some other way." Begged the Queen to the three Time Lords she knew how good they were how they always helped humanity no matter what they were always there for the Earth when they still lived on it.
"Silence! all of you humans be silent do not speak! Nobody human has anything to say to us today, you have no right to talk to us. There are three of us left from our entire civilisation and our son is the only Magical Time Lord in existence, our civilisation is older than your planet and we are all that is left, this is a one of a kind animal like our son and I'm going to have to kill it or kill this part of humanity off! So, all of you remain silent, you don't get to speak, you don't deserve to!" Screamed the Doctor loudly at all the humans in anger the full oncoming storm out in force he walked away and grabbed both the Arbitrators and the Masters hands for strength. Harry was running through every alternate timeline he could see as fast as he could see them trying to see if there was another way to take this burden off the Doctor, but he couldn't see one he couldn't cope with the sound he heard he wanted to cry himself, humans had yet again done this to an innocent.
"You three stop. Whatever you're doing, stop it now! Sorry your Majesty, going to need a hand." Spoke Amy to the Time Lords while grabbing the Queen by her hand dragging her away from where she was to the screen she had been in front of with the Doctor and the Queen to hear and see the recording.
"Amy, no! No!" Shouted the Doctor seeing the timeline and what she intended to do but Amy forced the Queen's hand down on the button for 'Abdicate' forcing her to abdicate the throne. The whale bellowed and the whole ship Shook, causing havoc on every level now the screens were back to surveillance even the Tower of London shook after she had made the Queen Liz 10 abdicate.
"Amy, what have you done?" Demanded the Master
"Nothing at all. Am I right?" She asked hoping to all she was that her thought would work and the Time Lords would forgive her, she should have not had the memory removed she never would again.
"We've increased speed!" Spoke Hawthorn shocked.
"Yeah, well, you've stopped torturing the pilot. Gotta help." She told them as angry as the Doctor was at her towards the others who came from the same United Kingdom that she belonged to and lived in.
"It's still here? I don't understand." Spoke the Queen shocked at them all in the room.
"The Star Whale didn't come like a miracle all those years ago. It volunteered. You didn't have to trap it or torture it, that was all just you. It came because it couldn't stand to watch your children cry…. What if you were really old, and really kind? Most of your race dead, no future for them. What couldn't you do then? If you were that old, and that kind, and the very last of your race…. You couldn't just stand by and watch children cry." Spoke Amy trying to explain it gently to the Doctor, the Master and the Arbitrator making up for her earlier mistake and explaining her reasoning. Pointing to the little girl and children who were all around them she had seen the tentacle prod the back of Mandy but not attack her.

"From Her Majesty. She says there will be no more secrets on Star ship UK." Explained Amy to the three Time lords as she handed the Doctor the Queen's Liz 10's mask.
"Amy, you could have killed everyone on this ship." Spoke the Doctor.
"You could have ended up killing a Star Whale." Amy rebutted.
"And you saved it. I know, I know." Agreed the Doctor.
"Amazing, though, don't you think? The Star Whale. All that pain and misery... And loneliness. And it just made it kind." She told them looking at the three of them.
"But you couldn't have known how it would react. You can't see Time and its permutations even the Arbitrator was looking for a way out and was still searching and he sees more possibilities than both of us." The Doctor told her.
"You Doctor and Master couldn't. But I've seen it before. Very old and very kind, and only two of the very last. With the very last child of your race who is one of a kind in the whole universe. Sound a bit familiar?" She hugged first the Doctor then the Master and gave Harry a gentle smile which he slowly returned.

"Shouldn't we say goodbye? Won't they wonder where we went?" She asked as she saw them walking to the TARDIS.
"For the rest of their lives. Oh, the songs they'll write! At least you're forgiven from me saying you were going home…. But never mind them. Big day tomorrow." Explained the Doctor in a better mood now.
"Sorry, what?" asked Amy confused.
"It's always a big day tomorrow. We've got a time machine. We skip the little ones." Harry explained as he let the Doctor enter first then him, the Master and then Amy entering behind then, as always, Harry was in the middle of his dads.
"You know what I said about getting back for tomorrow morning... Have you ever run away from something because you were scared, or not ready, or just... Just because you could?" Asked Amy to the Doctor while the other two were working around the console unit checking different readings, they were actually checking everything would go alright for the whale and the UK population now. Harry was also pulling up the star maps seeing where the wale was taking the UK population to. The Doctor was watching them work.
"Once... A long time ago." He eventually answered turning to her.
"What happened?" asked Amy gently.
"Hello!" He replied while waving at her making her understand. A phone began to ring.
"Right. guys, there's something I haven't told you. No. Hang on, is that a phone ringing?" Amy started speaking only to get confused over the phone.
"We live in a phone box we often get phone calls, son answer it will you please?" Answered the Master to her then telling his son to get the phone.
"Hello?" Asked Harry and listened before covering the mouthpiece.
"Pere it's for you it's the Prime Minister!" Harry explained covering the microphone so the one on the other end didn't hear.
"Which one?" Asked the Doctor back.
"Sorry, who exactly are you and which Prime Minister are you please?... Oh, right Sir just hold on a minute please? I'll put him on for you!" Asked Harry then when he was told who the prime minister was, he became polite.
"He says it's Winston Churchill Pere perhaps you should talk to him!" Harry told him holding the phone out for him to take.
"Oh, good old Winston now what does he want?" Asked the Doctor taking the phone off his son.
After a short conversation the Doctor was asking Harry to input a time date and co-ordinates but not set them off so they would get there when they needed to go. First though he wanted rest and to talk to Koschei and Muklo on their own. Harry took pity on Amy and showed her to a bedroom and how to use the showers in there and then to the main wardrobe so she could get an outfit for herself. Once she was clean and dressed, she was also rearing to go. As if today hadn't been enough of an adventure. They met up for food in the kitchen and then the three of them gave her a short tour of the TARDIS just the main parts and how to work her bathroom they explained how she could customise the room for herself and left her to get some rest. Then the three of them went into their suite to talk. Koschei and Theta wanting to know if Muklo was okay after hearing the whale he told them he was fine it was more upsetting seeing Mandy cry and the reason because of her best friend thinking he was dead after being fed to the whale, the Queen had made sure that they were reunited now though. They separated to go to their own rooms. The Master and Doctor into one Harry into his own but as soon as he was, he went to see his Father he needed him after hearing that noise he needed to know if that was what he heard in his mind he had lied to his dads employing the Doctors rule number one without them knowing keeping the bond blank so they wouldn't know. Their meeting with Winston would happen tomorrow once they all have breakfast before setting off.
