After they had eaten breakfast, they all went back into the control room.
"I've got to admit the first one you designed was a good layout son, but this one, is more us, I think!" spoke the Doctor to Harry.
"No Pere you just like the see-through floor and the fact you don't fall over things in here all the time plus I designed this console unit on my own and it's working perfectly." Harry told him with his cheeky grin.
"Just get us to Winston please, let's see what he wants he sounded like he was in deep trouble. And that is not like him at all!" Asked the Doctor to Harry, the Doctor having met him many times before knew something was really wrong, he wanted to find out what was going on.
.
.
In a war room under white hall men and women were manning machines and phones. A siren wailed. In the smoky room, men and women in RAF uniform kept track of an ongoing battle.
"Can't we shut that ruddy thing up?" Asked one of the male technicians manning the radios.
"If wishes were kisses... Hostile thirty six, confirm." Spoke a woman into a headset after answering the male technician.
"Able Victor Charlie down." Announced another man from a headset.
"Twenty six and forty one detailed to intercept." Announced a second woman walking into the room with a clipboard.
"Forty one? That's... That's Reg's squadron." Spoke the first woman in shock that was her husband's squadron that was going to be sent into the battle they were co-ordinating.
The Prime Minister of Great Britain Winston Churchill entered the room, everyone already there stood to attention as soon as the first person saw him.
"Sir!" Spoke everyone while saluting him still stood up. Even though there was a battle going on that they were co-ordinating, if the Prime Minister walked into a room all armed forces personnel had to stand to attention and salute them.
"How many?" Winston Churchill asked the room with his usual cigar in hand lit.
"Looks like a dozen Heinkel at least, sir. With Messerschmidts flanking." Spoke up a male officer.
"Out of range?" Churchill asked next to the room at large.
"Normally, sir, yes." Answered the woman with the clipboard.
"Well, then. Time to roll out the secret weapons!" Announced Churchill after taking a puff of his cigar. The woman with the clipboard nodded and with a long stick, pushed the figure of a metal machine in khaki green with two dark green nodes on its top and two metal round poles sticking out at the front, one had a plunger on the end of that pole the other had little cylinders surrounding the main pole. It was pushed across the map of London and its surrounding areas right in the heart of London city itself near to the war room they were in.

The four Time travellers arrived in a small maintenance room and all four moved to leave, the Doctor in the front Harry behind him and then the Master and Amy coming up the rear. They exited to soldiers pointing guns at them all put their hands up while the Doctor asked to speak to Winston Churchill and that they were he by his own invitation. A few minutes later the Prime Minister of Great Britain walked in with another two solders one on either side of him.
"Amy...Winston Churchill." The Doctor introduced Amy to the Prine Minister.
"Doctor? Is it you?" Asked Churchill shocked looking at the Doctor, then he looked at the two behind him as well.
"Oh, Winston, my old friend!" Spoke the Doctor then went to shake hands, but Churchill motioned with his hand that he wants something.
"Ah, every time!" the Doctor spoke in humour.
"What's he after?" Asked Amy now stood at the Doctor's side.
"TARDIS key, of course." Answered the Master for her, knowing what would happen, after they shared their memories with each other, he knew Winston Churchill always did when the Doctor met Churchill.
"Think of what I could achieve with your remarkable machine, Doctor! The lives that could be saved!" Spoke Churchill with passion in his voice, looking directly at the Doctor.
"Ah, doesn't work like that." Explained the Doctor to Churchill.
"Must I take it by force?" Demanded Churchill.
"I'd like to see you try!" Spoke the Doctor seriously, then locked the TARDIS fully making her phase out as Harry had designed her to.
"At ease." Spoke Churchill to the solders around them who all lowered their weapons at the order.
"So you've changed your face, again?" Asked Churchill to the Doctor.
"Yeah, well, had a bit of work done." The Doctor answered.
"Got it, got it, got it! Cabinet war Rooms, right?" Asked a shocked Amy she didn't know where or when they were going only who they were going to meet.
"Yes. Top secret heart of the war Office, right under London." spoke the Master holding onto the Arbitrators hand like he did most of the time unless they both needed them for something. The Doctor introduced both the Master and the Arbitrator to Churchill, so he knew who they were. They were stopped along the way for requisition orders for Churchill, the woman didn't seem happy at all, she was even rebuked for her face by Winston Churchill. Eventually Churchill brought them around to why he had called them.
"We are at a crossroads quite alone with our backs against the wall, we have to take every advantage we can we will not bow down to Hitler they will not get to this country, follow me I want to show you something there are planes heading into London form the Nazis and I won't let them win!" Explained Winston Churchill with just as much passion as he did over the TARDIS. They all entered a lift taking them the to the roof, the four followed Churchill up to another man.
"Are they on their way? Oh, Doctor, Master, Arbitrator and Amy let me introduce you to Professor Edwin Bracewell, head of our Ironsides Project!" Spoke Churchill to the four, after asking if the wave was inbound, the six of them all walked forwards to the wall to get a better look.
"Oh Doctor…. It's…. It's" Amy couldn't continue seeing the bombs dropping from the planes.
"It's history." Spoke the Doctor quietly and sadly. Suddenly they heard Bracewell shout fire through a two-way radio, laser beams shot from the middle of sandbags shooting all the planes down.
"What was that?" Asked Amy
"That wasn't human, that was never human technology. That sounded like... Show me! Show me what that was!" Demanded the Doctor climbing a ladder quickly followed by the Master so they could stand where Bracewell had gone to give his orders.
"Advance!" Ordered Bracewell over the radio.
"Our new secret weapons with there we will win the war!" Churchill announced as a dalek trundled out. It was painted in Army khaki green, a utility belt around it, a small Union Flag under the eyestalk and the lights on the top of the dome were covered. The Doctor and Master watched, horrified at what they were seeing. They were ushered down from the ladder and then into the lift followed by Bracewell who actually was the first one out after the Prime Minister and led them all to his laboratory.
"What do you think? Quite something, eh?" Asked Winston Churchill proudly to the four Time travellers.
"What are you doing here?" Demanded the Doctor of a dalek that was in the room.
"I am your soldier." Replied the dalek in its metallic voice.
"What?" asked the Master slightly shook up, what were the daleks doing here and looking as they were.
"I am your soldier." Repeated the dalek again with the awful metallic voice.
"Stop this. Stop now! You know who I am who the Master is, you always know." Shouted the Doctor in anger.
"Your identities are unknown." Was the answer they got off the dalek in its metallic voice.
"Perhaps I can clarify things here, this is one of my Ironsides." Explained Bracewell to them.
"Your what?" Asked Harry entering the conversation for the first time, he could feel the life in the machine they were definitely not designed by this man.
"You will help the Allied cause in any way that you can?" Bracewell asked one of his Ironsides.
"Yes." Was the simple answer in a metallic voice that grated on Harrys nerves.
"Until the Germans have been utterly smashed?" Was the follow up question off Bracewell.
"Yes." Again, was the answer given in its metallic voice.
"And what is your ultimate aim?" Bracewell asked at last
"To win the war!" Was finally answered in that awful metallic voice.
.
.
The Time Lords and Amy were taken to another room by Winston Churchill and shown blueprints of the Ironsides as well as other information to go with them, but Harry could see they were incomplete, did he tell them he knew? it would scare them even more but both older Time Lords seemed to know they weren't allies to Churchill.
"They're daleks! They're called daleks!" The Doctor tried to get Winston Churchill to see what was in front of him.
"They are Bracewell's Ironsides, Doctor! Look! Blueprints, statistics, field-tests, photographs. He invented them!" Churchill announced showing them all the research.
"They are alien and very hostile actually, no matter what you show us we know what these things are and we are getting fed up of running into them and now you're trying to tell us you built them did you actually see them being built?" Spoke Harry in a very serious voice.
"Not the actual building of them we left that up to Bracewell but we have all the evidence of how to make them Bracewell is a genius, he came to us a few months ago with the designs, at first, I was sceptical, but these could win us the war ive already said we will not let Hitler win we are British and we bow to no one!" Answered Churchill so sure of himself.
"Winston they are alien we know these machines we have fought them at every turn they are seriously hostile!" Spoke the Doctor looking right at Churchill. But no matter what he did Churchill wouldn't listen he went on about what a thousand of these machines could do the Master informed him a thousand could burn the earth is that what he wanted, but he still wasn't swayed.
"Right if no one's going to listen to us, we'll prove it on our own before the English loose us the planet again." Spoke the Doctor.
"Again?" asked Amy
"Surly you remember the daleks, Amy? They moved the whole earth there were other planets in the night sky it went from daylight to night-time." Spoke the Doctor
"Nope not ringing any bells sorry!" she told him.
"Seriously Amy you slept through that; we towed the earth back into orbit surly you felt the Earth move?" Asked Harry.
"Nope as I said don't remember that at all!" She told them.
"Right well you two let's get on proving to everyone these things are both dangerous and deadly and need destroying before they somehow manage to create more. Winston get your guards and follow us!" spoke the Doctor to the other two Time Lords. Churchill monitored to two of his guards to follow them and they all left to go to professor Bracewell's office and laboratory. Churchill ordered his guards to stay at the door so they weren't interrupted. The guard took up positions either side of the door.
"All right, Prof! The Prime Minister has been filling me in. Amazing things, these Ironsides of yours. Amazing. You must be very proud of them?" Spoke the Doctor taking a chair in front of Bracewell sitting on it backwards but facing Bracewell.
"Just doing my bit." Bracewell replied to the Doctor.
"Not bad for a Paisley boy." Spoke Amy impressed while swinging a big spanner she had found around her looking around the lab.
"Yes, I thought I detected a familiar cadence, my dear." Replied Bracewell to Amy.
"How did you do it? Come up with the idea?" Asked the Master who was stood behind the
Doctor with Harry at his side Churchill was at the other side of the room watching what was going on with his.
"How does the muse of invention come to anyone?" Bracewell replied.
"But you get a lot of these clever notions, do you?" Asked the Doctor next.
"Well, ideas just seem to teem from my head! Wonderful things! Like... Let me show you. Some musings on the potential of hypersonic flight. Gravity bubbles that could sustain life outside of the terrestrial atmosphere! Came to me in the bath!" Explained Bracewell showing them all the things he had been working on letting them look through his work.
"And are these your ideas or theirs? Because apart from the daleks all of these idea are actually sound on paper the only problem is you are about a thousand years out of Time to be able to do this if not more!" Asked and explained Harry looking through the designs Bracewell had come up with the ideas were actually right a lot of what he was showing them would work but something was wrong with this man he just couldn't quite figure out what.
"No, no, no, no all the ideas are mine. These robots are entirely under my control. They are. [A dalek brought his tea] Thank you... The perfect servant, and the perfect warrior with them we can hit out further without having to put our own soldiers in danger." Bracewell told them.
"No, they are not and I will prove it to you no matter what it takes!" The Doctor to him and then grabbed the spanner off Amy and started hitting the dalek with it.
"Come on! Fight back! You want to, don't you? You know you do!" Demanded the Doctor hitting the dalek with the spanner.
"I must protest!" Spoke up Bracewell outraged standing up.
"Stay where you are professor, sitting down for now!" spoke Harry throwing his hand out forcing him back into his seat using true Magic to hold him there.
"What are you waiting for? You hate us. You want to kill me. Well, go on! kill me. Try to kill me! You are my enemy! [The Doctor punctuated his sentences with hits] And I am yours! You are everything I despise! The worst thing in all the universe. We've defeated you time and time again, I've defeated you. I sent you back into the void! we saved the whole of reality from you! I am the Doctor! He is the Master and our son is the Arbitrator And you are the daleks!" the Doctor screamed at it while kicking it at the end causing it to roll back Harry looked at both the Doctor and the Master neither were faring well with this turn of events.
"'iswaswillbe' So, you say you aren't daleks professor you can move but don't get in my way move over to the others, Doctor step away move everyone away from the daleks all of you. Now!" Harry demanded of them giving the pass phrase. He had released Bracewell so he could move. The Doctor did as he was told grabbing Churchill and moving him near to the Master who had already grabbed Amy the Arbitrator had given the pass phrase saying he knew more than them Bracewell joined them.
"I'm giving you one chance I am the Arbitrator and I know what you are! Now, admit it or I am going to do something to make you admit it which while satisfying for some won't stop me from following through." Harry told them.
"I am your soldier." replied the dalek.
"Very well Professor Bracewell, you say these are your designs these are all machines. Mr Prime Minister you brought them into the headquarters of the most important building of the war effort and you want a thousand of them? How exactly are you going to build that many when it's not possible also would either of you all like to explain this to me then?" Asked Harry, he held one hand at the dalek then there was a feeling of sudden static building up around the room and the smell of ozone, he was using his Elemental control and within a second of speaking Harry sent lightning flying out if his hand pointing at the machine and it screamed in sheer agony the power was frying the daleks shell as Harry kept a steady stream of lighting fired at the dalek and it was feeling it all so much so it actually died in its shell.
"Testimony accepted!" Spoke one of the two other daleks that was still alive.
"Get back further! All of you!" Shouted the Master. He pulled both Amy and Churchill into the corner with the Doctor and Harry following him and Bracewell moving to the wall in his laboratory.
"Marines! Marines! Get in here!" Shouted Churchill for the two Marines he had placed on the door to enter and one of the Daleks to spin around and it killed them before they could even have raised arms.
"Stop it! Stop it, please! What are you doing? You are my Ironsides!" Begged Bracewell moving along the wall so he was away from the other, he turned his focus onto the daleks.
"We are the daleks!" Was the metallic response off one of the two left alive daleks.
"But I created you!" Exclaimed Bracewell
"No. We created you!" Announced one of the daleks and shot off his wrist showing wires hanging out where there should have been a hand which fall to the floor, Harry knew there was something different about him but not this, then he realised there was no soul, everything else was copied perfectly to mimic a human but no soul.
"Victory! Victory! Victory!" Spoke the two daleks alive in unison before they teleported away in front of everyone.
"What just happened?" Asked Amy shook up.
"I wanted to know what they wanted, what their plan was. I was their plan! Or we were Winston put the army on high alert!" The Doctor answered Amy, and then told Churchill what to do before he quickly ran to the TARDIS with the other two in front of him and Amy trying to keep up with them.
"Amy, you stay here With Churchill it will be safer!" Shouted the Doctor.
"It's the middle of the blitz!" Amy answered back in shock.
"It's still safer than where we are going stay here with Winston, be safe!" He Explained and with that the Doctor followed the other two into the TARDIS, Amy saw it dematerialise as soon as the Doctor shut the door.
.
.
On the mothership of the daleks another one met the two that had teleported up to their ship.
"The testimony is complete the progenitor is working, process all available power to it, it must be completed!" spoke the new dalek to the two that had arrived.
Suddenly the TARDIS appeared and out stepped the three Time Lords.
"It is the Time lords! Exterminate!" Spoke one of the daleks.
"Wait, wait, wait, I wouldn't if I were you!" Spoke the Doctor and he pulled out a small round object with a red button in the middle and held it out in front of him showing the three daleks the object.
"TARDIS self-destruct. And you know what that means. Our ship goes, you all go with it." The Doctor told them after shoeing them the object he held.
"You would not use such a device." Spoke a dalek moving towards him
"Try me… Ah, ah, ah, ah, ah. No scans! No nothing! One move and I'll destroy us all, you got that? TARDIS bang-bang, daleks boom! good boys." The Doctor told them which made them all move away from him instead of trying to advance.
"This ship's pretty beat up, running on empty, I'd say, like you. When we last met, you were at the end of your rope. Finished." Spoke the Doctor.
"One ship survived." Answered the new dalek. Referring to satellite five.
"And you fell back through Time, yes? Crippled! Dying!" Asked then explained the Doctor, Mainly for Harry's benefit he had not seen these memoires off the Doctor only off DEATH.
"We picked up a trace. One of the Progenitor devices." Spoke one of the daleks.
"Progenitor? What's that when it's at home?" Asked the Doctor to the three daleks on the ship.
"It is our past. And our future!" Spoke the same dalek.
"Ohhh, that's deep. That is deep for a dalek. What does it mean, though?" Asked the Doctor.
"It contains pure dalek DNA, thousands were created, all were lost, save one." Was the reply they got.
"Ok, but there's still one thing I don't get, though, if you've got the Progenitor, why build Bracewell?" asked the Doctor.
"It was…. Necessary." Eventually admitted one of the daleks.
"But why? I get it. Oh, I get it! I get it. Oh, Oh, this is rich! No this is bloody hilarious actually! The Progenitor wouldn't recognise you, would it? It saw you as impure, the DNA is unrecognisable as dalek." Asked then explained the Master he found this actually a little funny following the timeline he knew he and the Doctor were safe, their son would protect them.
"A solution was devised." Spoke the same dalek.
"Yes, yes, yes. Us. My testimony. The Arbitrators actions forced you to retreat something you always have to do when you come up against me and us, you set a trap, you knew that the Progenitor would recognise me from the last time you saw me. The Daleks' greatest enemy! It would accept my word and our recognition of you… No, no, no. What are you doing?" Demanded the Doctor holding up his object again.
"Withdraw now, Time Lords, or the city dies in flames." Spoke the dalek.
"Who are you kidding? This ship is a wreck, you don't have the power to destroy London." Explained the Master, the ship had fallen through Time and it had battered the ship up badly.
"Watch as the humans destroy themselves." Spoke a dalek and suddenly their ship was moved in space the area covering London and an antenna came out of the bottom of the ship sending a signal of current causing all of the city up like it was daytime.
"Turn those lights off now. Turn London off or I swear I will use the TARDIS self-destruct!" Spoke the Doctor in shock he couldn't believe they had lit all of London up like daylight.
"Stalemate, Time Lords. Leave us and return to Earth." Spoke one of the daleks.
"Oh, that's it? That's your great victory? You leave?" Asked the Doctor.
"Extinction is not an option. We shall return to our own time and begin again." Explained the same dalek.
"No, no, no! I won't let you get away this time! I won't this is the end for you the dalek race is finished!" Spoke the Doctor the oncoming storm coming out in full.
.
.
Back in the war room things weren't going any better they couldn't turn the lights off no matter what
"The generators won't switch off! The lights are on across all of London, Prime Minister! There is nothing we can do we are sitting ducks!" Spoke one of the technicians scared.
"Has to be them. Must be the daleks!" Explained Amy to Winston Churchill.
"The Germans can see every inch of the city. It will be a disaster like never before even in daylight. Get those lights out before the Germans get here!" Demanded Churchill.
"Confirm, Squadron two hundred and forty four and fifty six mobilised." Spoke another controller into his microphone.
"Emergency, emergency, one hundred and nine? One hundred and nine, confirm?" Spoke a woman into a headset.
"Thousands will die if we don't get those lights out now, Children and families even our own surface men, now find a way to get them off!" Explained then demanded Churchill angrily to the room at large.
"German bomb sighted over the Channel, sir. ETA ten minutes, sir." Spoke up one of the women.
"Here they come. Get a message to Mr Attlee. war Cabinet meeting at three am tomorrow morning…. If we're all still here." Announced Churchill.
"We can't just sit here! We've got to take the fight to the daleks!" Demanded Amy
"How? None of our weapon are a match for theirs!" Asked then explained Churchill to Amy.
"Look, we must have something…. Oh! Staring us in the face! A gift! From the daleks! Follow me sir we will win we are British well I'm Scottish but I like Britain!" Exclaimed Amy when an idea came to her taking off Churchill followed her.
"Bracewell! Put the gun down!" Demanded Churchill as he and Amy entered his laboratory.
"My life is a lie, and I choose to end it." Spoke up Bracewell
"In your own time, Paisley boy, because right now we need your help." Amy told him.
"But those creatures... My Ironsides…. They made me…. I... I can remember things, so many things. The last war…. The squalor and the mud and the awful, awful misery of it all. What am I? What am I?" Explained then asked Bracewell unsure of who he really was.
"What you are, sir, is either on our side, or theirs. Now, I don't give a damn if you're a machine, Bracewell…. Are you English?" Demanded Churchill of Bracewell.
"Listen to me. I understand. Really, I do. Look, there is a spaceship up there lighting up London like a Christmas tree. Thousands of people will die tonight, if we don't stop it and you're the only one who can help take it down." Spoke Amy with gentleness.
"I am?" Bracewell asked.
"You're alien technology. You're as clever as the daleks are, so start thinking! What about rockets? You got rockets? Cos you said gravity whatsits, hypersonic flight, some kind of missile. The Arbitrator said all of your designs worked so start thinking what do we need to take out that dalek ship while not blowing up the Time Lords?" Explained then asked Amy looking at Bracewell with both tenderness and authority in her voice.
"This isn't a fireworks party, Miss Pond! We need proper tactical... A missile... Or" Explained Churchill training off.
"Or what?" Asked Amy
"We could send something up there, you say?" Asked Churchill to Bracewell.
"With a gravity bubble, yes." Bracewell answered showing him his designs.
"Theoretically it's possible we could actually send something into space as miss pond confirmed the teenager with the other two Time Lords told me I was thinking a thousand years ahead of what I should be." Explained Bracewell.
"Bracewell... It's time to think big!" Announced Churchill with a light and fire in his eyes.
.
.
Back on the dalek ship the progenitor finished working and opened, letting new daleks out bigger ones coloured in red, yellow, blue, orange and one in white.
"The Progenitor has fulfilled our new destiny. Behold, the restoration of the daleks! The resurrection of the master race!" Spoke one of the daleks.
"All hail the new daleks! All hail the new daleks!" Spoke the three daleks in the room with the three Time Lords.
"Yes, you are inferior!" Spoke the white dalek.
"Yes." Answered one of the three old daleks.
"Then prepare." Continued the white one.
"We are ready!" Spoke all three daleks at once.
"Cleanse the unclean! Total obliteration! Disintegrate!" Announced the white dalek for the blue dalek to fire upon two of the daleks and the red one got the third.
"Blimey, what do you do to the ones who mess up?" Asked the Doctor to the new ones.
"You are Time Lords! You must be exterminated!" Spoke the white dalek.
"Don't mess with us, sweetheart this is a TARDIS self-destruct and the ship you are on is battered beyond even your repair!" Spoke the Doctor pulling out his object for the self-destruct of the TARDIS.
.
.
Bracewell entered the room with his hand and wrist in a black glove hiding the cut that was through his hand and a load of equipment with him.
"At last! Are they ready?" Demanded Churchill.
"I hope so. But in the meantime." Explained Bracewell he placed devices on the desk. Some had a screen with control knobs to work it.
"This will pick up Dalek transmissions we will be able to see everything from inside their ship I hope with what I have done." Bracewell announced. The Doctor, the Master, the Arbitrator and the White dalek appeared on the small black and white screen.
"We are the paradigm of a new Dalek race." Spoke the white dalek.
"It's them! It's the Time lords! We can see and hear them!" Explained Amy listening into what was said even if it was the Doctor doing all the talking.
"Scientist, Strategist Drone, Eternal, and the Supreme." Announced the white one, to the three Time Lords.
"Which would be you, I'm guessing? Well, you know, nice paint job. I'd be feeling pretty swish if I looked like you. Pretty Supre-eme!" spoke the Doctor while looking at the timeline into the future at what the war room was up to.
.
.
"Yes? Right. Right, thanks! Ready when you are, Mr Prime Minister." Spoke up Bracewell
"Splendid!" Announced Churchill
"Spaceship's exact co-ordinates located!" Spoke Bracewell
"Go to it, Group Captain! Go to it!" Spoke Churchill giving the orders to save London.
"Broadsword to Danny Boy! Broadsword to Danny Boy! Scramble! Scramble! Scramble!" Spoke the group captain setting off down the runway with his group to set the plains flying into space something never done before by them.
.
.
Back inside the dalek spaceship the Doctor was trying to buy him and the other two time to get out of there when the pilots would attack.
"Question is, what do we do now? Either you turn off your clever machine or I'll blow you and your new paradigm into eternity!" Asked then explained the Doctor.
"And yourselves?" Asked the white dalek to the three.
"Occupational hazard. We all know the risks and are prepared to take them!" Replied the Doctor.
"Scan reveals nothing! TARDIS self-destruct device non-existent the Time Lords are lying!" Explained the red dalek to all of those there even though he was telling the other daleks so they understood.
"All right, [The Doctor bit into the cookie] it's a Jammy Dodger, but I was promised tea!" Explained the Doctor knowing, they were safe now.
"Alert! Unidentified projectile approaching!" Spoke the blue dalek, the Doctor looked at a second scanner.
"Correction. Multiple projectiles!" Spoke the blue dalek again.
"What have the humans done?" Demanded the white dalek.
"I don't know." Answered the Doctor with a straight face even though he knew what was coming towards them.
"Explain! Explain! Explain!" Demanded the white dalek.
"Danny Boy to the Doctor! Danny Boy to the Doctor! Are you receiving me? Over." Asked one of the fighter pilots to the Doctor.
"Oh, Winston! You beauty!" Spoke the Master seeing for himself the timeline, they had somehow got spitfire fighters into space with laser guns.
"Danny Boy to the Doctor! Come in. Over!" Spoke the same pilot.
"Loud and clear, Danny Boy! Big dish, bottom of the ship sending out a current, blow it up! Over!" Replied, the Doctor through a small two-way radio out of one of his pockets.
"Exterminate the Time Lords!" Spoke the white dalek and Harry had to throw up a shield around the three as they made it to the inside of the TARDIS while being fired at by all the new daleks.
.
.
"You heard him, Group Captain! Target that dish! Send in all we've got!" Shouted Churchill from the war room even Amy was following the action along on the screen.
"four, four to Danny Boy, target the dish and stop that signal. Over." Spoke the group captain
"Understood, Sir. Over." Acknowledged one of pilots called Danny Boy.
"You can count on us Sir! Over." Spoke the lead pilot to the war room.
"OK, chaps, let's put London back under cover of darkness. Tally Ho!" The squadron of fighter planes began firing on the Dalek ship and the dish.
"Cover my back, going in close!" Spoke on of the pilots, only for the Dalek ship to fire back.
"Pull out, pull out." Spoke another pilot as one of the RAF planes was shot down.
Inside the war office inside the map room Everyone possible was gathered around the screen listening in.
"We've lost Jubilee, sir! Over." Announced a technician.
"Beam still active Sir." Announced Bracewell to Churchill.
"Then send them in again!" Demanded Churchill of him, they would win this fight no matter the cost they could not loose London and all of it was lit up. The planes regrouped and attacked again.
"Flintlock's down Sir and the dish seems to be protected. Over." Spoke the lead pilot back to the war room.
.
.
"Shields intact, pulse still active." Spoke the blue dalek from inside the ship being fired on.
.
.
"Danny Boy to the Doctor... Only me left now." Explained Danny Boy.
"Anything you can do, sir? Over." Luckily the three Time Lords were in the TARDIS at the
main console unit so it was easy to answer the pilot.
"The Doctor to Danny Boy. The Doctor to Danny Boy. I can disrupt the Dalek shields, but not for long. Over." the Doctor told him.
"Then do it Doctor, over!" Danny Boy told the Doctor.
"Doctor! Call off your attack!" Spoke the white dalek breaking into the transmission showing up on one of the screens on the console
"Ah-ha, what? And let you scuttle off back to the future? No fear. This is the end for you. The final end the dalek race will be wiped from the universe!" Spoke the Doctor in anger.
"Call off the attack, or we will destroy the Earth." Spoke the white dalek.
"I'm not stupid, mate! You've just played your last card you might be able to light London up but that is as far as your capabilities go!" Exclaimed the Doctor they would not get away.
"Bracewell is a bomb." Announced the white Dalek
"You're bluffing. Deception's second nature to you. There isn't a sincere bone in your body.
There isn't any bone in your body!" Spoke the Master cutting into the conversation.
"His power is derived from an Oblivion Continuum! Call off your attack, or we will detonate the android." Spoke the white dalek.
"No! This is my best chance ever! The last of the daleks! we will rid the Universe of you, once and for all!" Shouted the Doctor.
"Then do it. But we will shatter the planet below! The Earth will die screaming!" Explained the white dalek.
"And if I let you go, you'll be stronger than ever. A new race of daleks that we will end up fighting again." Explained the Doctor to the new daleks that had come out.
"Then choose, Doctor! Destroy the daleks or save the Earth and try to fight us again. Begin countdown of Oblivion Continuum! Choose, Doctor! Choose! Choose!" Spoke the white dalek again.
"The Doctor to Danny Boy. The Doctor to Danny Boy. Withdraw." Spoke the Doctor in the frequency of the RAF annoyed he could see they weren't bluffing.
"Say again, sir. Over." Asked Danny Boy a bit shook up they had lost pilots only for him to be ordered to withdraw.
"Withdraw! Return to Earth. Over and out." Spoke the Master annoyed into the transmission.
"But sir" started Danny boy.
"There's no time, you have to return to Earth now! Over!" Spoke the Doctor then set the coordinates for Earth. 'Danny Boy' fled back to the Earth and his landing strip. The TARDIS materialized Back in the storage room they had landed in and all three Time Lords exited and ran out of the room running for the room that they knew Bracewell would be in with Amy and Churchill.
.
.
"The Doctor has failed. His compassion is his greatest weakness. daleks have no such weakness." Spoke the white dalek.
.
.
The Time Lords had run through the building into the war room and then continued on into the map room and the Master always one up for punching something, punched Bracewell knocking him to the ground.
"Ow! Sorry, Professor. You're a bomb! An inconceivably massive Dalek bomb." Spoke the Master while shaking his hand Bracewell looked a lot lighter than he actually was.
"What?" Asked Bracewell from the floor.
"There's an Oblivion Continuum inside you…. A captured wormhole that provides perpetual power. Detonate that, and the Earth will bleed through into another dimension! Now keep down!" Spoke the Doctor quickly but with compassion he used his sonic to reveal mechanics underneath Bracewell's chest skin.
.
.
"Detonation sequence activated. Time corridor establishing." Explained the white dalek their plans were working as they wanted them to they knew the Doctor was likely to save the earth but it meant that that they would be able to escape and leave this Time to start anew.
"Time jump in thirty rels!" Announced the blue dalek.
.
.
Inside the map room there was a circular pad divided into sections glowing blue on Bracewell's chest. One section turned yellow.
"Well?" Asked Harry, nothing like this had been covered in any of his lessons so far he didn't even know what a Oblivion continuum bomb was but he knew much better ways to create a lifeform from his studies it was one thing he intended to look up when they had finsied this adventure.
"I dunno, I dunno, I dunno! Never seen one up close before!" Answered the Doctor honestly.
"So, what, they've wired him up to detonate?" Asked Amy.
"Not wired him up! He is a bomb. Walking, talking, exploding! The moment that flashes red then he explodes drawing all the Earth into it killing everyone on this planet."Explained the Doctor to all those around him other than the Master. When the Doctor said 'exploding', the Doctor showed his hands going off like the bomb would.
"There's... A blue wire or something you have to cut, isn't there? There's always a blue wire." Amy told the Doctor.
"Or a red one. You're not helping!" Snapped the Doctor running his screwdriver over it.
"It's incredible. He talked to us about his memories. The Great war what it was like to fight in it and everything." Explained Churchill pointing at Bracewell.
"Someone else's stolen thoughts, implanted in a positronic brain. Tell me about it. Bracewell!" Explained then demanded the Doctor of Bracewell.
"Tell me about your life!" The Doctor repeated.
"I really don't think this is the time!" Spoke Bracewell
"Tell us, prove you're human. Tell us everything." Ordered the Doctor of Bracewell so he would have to talk.
.
.
Inside the dalek ship Five sections of the 'clock' showed red.
"Countdown proceeding." Spoke the white dalek.
.
.
"My family ran the Post Office. It's a little place just near the abbey. Just by the ash trees. There used to be eight trees but... But there was a storm." Explained Bracewell.
"And your parents? Come on! Tell us!" Demanded the Doctor.
"Good people. Kind people. They... They died. Scarlet fever." Answered Bracewell in a broken sentence.
"What was that like? How did it feel?" Asked the Doctor putting everything into his command.
"Please!" Begged Bracewell.
"How did it make you feel, Edwin? Tell us! Tell us now!" Demanded the Doctor if him again.
"It hurt. It hurts, so badly. Like a wound." The second section turned red and the third, yellow on Braswell's chest.
"It was worse than a wound. Like I'd been emptied out. There was nothing in side of me no feeling of hope any longer." Bracewell explained.
"Good. Remember it now, Edwin! The ash trees by the Post Office and your mum and dad and losing them and men in the trenches you saw die... Remember it! Feel it, because you're human. (The third section turned red) You're not like them. You are not like the daleks you don't kill indiscriminately to try to save lives not destroy them!" Demanded then explained the Doctor to him trying to get him to defuse the bomb himself.
"It hurts! it hurts so much the loss and the pain!" Bracewell eventually answered all those around him.
"Good! Good! Good! Brilliant! Embrace it." The Doctor told him. The fourth section turned red.
"That means you're alive! They cannot explode that bomb, you're a human being! You are flesh and blood! They cannot explode that bomb! Believe it! You are Professor Edwin Bracewell! And you, my friend, are a human being! [The fifth section turns red] It's not working, I can't stop it!" Spoke the Doctor in worry looking at the other two Time Lords but Amy was the one to talk.
"Paisley. Ever fancied someone you know you shouldn't?" Asked Amy kneeling down at his side taking his hand that still worked in his.
"What?" Bracewell asked Amy wondering what she was going on about.
"Hurts, doesn't it? [The last section remained yellow] But kind of a good hurt." Amy asked then told him.
"I really shouldn't talk about her." Bracewell answered Amy looking away from her.
"Oh. So, there is a her?" Asked Amy surprised the last section reverted to blue and Bracewell turned back to her.
"What was her name?" Asked the Doctor gently.
"Dorabella." Bracewell answered the Doctor.
"Dorabella? It's a lovely name, it's a beautiful name." Spoke the Doctor.
"What was she like, Edwin?" Asked the Master gently joining the other two and bringing Harry with him.
"Oh... Such a smile. And her eyes... Her eyes were so blue...Almost violet. Like the last touch of sunset on the edge of the world... Dorabella." All sections reverted to blue, disarming the bomb
"Welcome to the human race Edwin Bracewell. You're brilliant, you're all brilliant!" Spoke the Doctor to Churchill, then Bracewell and Amy.
"Now, gotta stop them! Gotta Stop the daleks before they can escape!" spoke the Doctor and the three Time Lords got up to run out of the room. Only to be stopped by Bracewell.
"Wait! Wait... It's too late. You three they've Gone. They've gone." Shouted Bracewell to the three.
"No, no, no! They can't! They can't have got away from me again!" Shouted the Doctor in anger.
"No, I can feel it, my mind is clear. The daleks have gone they are no longer here." Explained Bracewell.
"Guys. It's Ok! You did it. You stopped the bomb, isn't that all what was needed?" Asked Amy at the end she couldn't see the timelines like the other three.
"I had a choice they knew I'd choose the Earth. The daleks have won. They beat me. They've won I could either destroy them or destroy the Earth and I chose to save the Earth." Spoke the Doctor in anger.
"But you saved the Earth if you hadn't I wouldn't have a home to go back to. Not too shabby, is it?" Amy asked the three.
"Doctor, they escaped from me I didn't see that as the main outcome it was a side timeline, it didn't look like it was followed all the way but he's right they are gone for now! We all know nothing ever will truly be able to outrun me, every living thing eventual must pay the last debt that is owed in this life. To me. Or my Father just like that other dalek that is dead in professors Bracewell's laboratory!" Harry spoke gently to him he knew what that escape had done to the Doctor and the Master, they would have to talk in private they both would have done different things.
"We need to take care of Bracewell!" Announced the Master thirty minutes later the room had been celebrating their victory over the Germans with Winston and Amy in the room with the other technicians that had co-ordinated the strikes and the Time Lords had been stripping the tech out of the last plane that survived.
"Yes, let's go and do that." Decided the Doctor and taking the Arbitrators hand with the Master they walked to his laboratory.
"I've been expecting you three!" Spoke Bracewell in a sad voice.
"You have?" Asked the Doctor.
"Yes, I'm dalek tech, I can't go through the timeline like this the tech is too dangerous to be left on Earth." Explained Bracewell to them.
"Yes, you're absolutely right! We've come to deactivate you, but we have one last important job to do before we can, so don't go anywhere. What? should only take us ten minutes?" Asked the Doctor to the other two Time Lords.
"More like twenty with you." Spoke the Master.
"Yes, so twenty minutes don't move or go missing or go looking for that lovely post office and especially don't go looking for Dorabella before we get back to deactivate you." The Doctor told Bracewell.
"More like thirty minutes Doctor you need to pilot the course for this not me and we know how bad your driving is so yeah more like thirty if we're honest, so you just stay here and don't disappear never to be seen again understand?" Explained then asked Harry with a smirk on his face.
"Okay so you are better at it than me I still know more places and have to take us there this is one, so okay thirty minutes be here when we get back, we don't have time to try and find you so if you are not in this room in thirty minutes we will have to leave!" Spoke the Doctor with a small smile.
"I assure you I will be waiting here in thirty minutes it's not like I can do anything else…. Thank-You you three." Spoke Bracewell with a little smile.
"Anytime!" Answered Harry returning his smile to him that he gave them.
The left the room only to re-enter the war room which Winston Churchill was in, an argument broke out about the tech, the Doctor and Master had stripped off them he argued it could easily win the war and the Doctor told him that was why they weren't keeping it. They were on their way to leave when Amy stopped them.
"It was nice meeting you Winston Churchill but give the Doctor the keys back! Only if you know how to use one can you retrieve it and even I don't know how to do that, never mind trying to actually make her move it more futuristic than anything I have ever seen and I've not even been born yet." Explained Amy to Winston Churchill.
The Doctor patted his pockets down to find when he had hugged Winston goodbye, he had stolen his key. He was not happy, but Churchill just chuckled at him admitting that he couldn't help but try.
Soon they were all back into the TARDIS and in the vortex to relax for a while after that horror show.
"I think you should ask your Father how come The Moment could trap all but two Time Lords in there, but not all the bloody daleks!" Spoke the Master as they were sat around eating.
"It's not HIS fault HE likes them less than you two do and that is saying something. At least you proved that no matter what you look like Pere you will always be you at your core you have compassion, yes, they played on it but all that means is they have a lot of information on you from the war never mind after. It's not a bad thing to have and show you know, we have discussed where it gets you, four daleks escaped how many lives on Earth were saved, I know the war will carry on but as Amy pointed out she hasn't been born yet if we hadn't done as we did it could have been that she never would, you showed your compassion again you will always show that." Explained Harry. After that they ate in silence well other than a few questions off Amy about their enemies and why they had them. They retired early to their bedrooms that night Harry knew his dads needed to talk to each other. It's why he had brought his Pere's compassion up, it was to make his dad understand the decision more, hopefully he would be more understanding towards his Pere, truthfully, they scared the both of them the things the two had, had to do during the Time War, neither one wanting to be in it yet both fighting until they could take no more.
