Unspeakables Two Chapter 8, a Doctor Who + Harry Potter Crossover fanfic

There was a man sat on a bench reading to his boy in a graveyard trying to get him to read along, the child had dyslexia but the child was adamant that he could listen to books it was easier, his father tried to tell him it would get better and he wasn't on his own in this but his son didn't seem convinced before the man could say more his wife came over with a lunch box and reminded him of his shift.

Over in the drilling site there were people all monitoring screens all over the command centre they had done it they had reached a new target twenty one kilometres straight down the most the Earth had ever been drilled into. The man in charge of the drilling, Tony, congratulated all his staff for a job well done and sent them home for the weekend, then the man from earlier reading to his son entered, he was called Mo, Tony's son in law, who worked as the security for the night shift. The two main people left in the control room were discussing how much further they could go when he entered, he was happy to see they had reached their mark and said so, he then told them to go home he was in charge now with a laugh the other two left.

Mo was watching the screens when suddenly the drill stuttered and everything started to shake and the drill just stopped, then one by one the security cameras went out, Mo went to investigate, only to find a hole in the middle of a concreate room, made of soil his light vanished into the dirt as he dropped it, as he went to rummage around under the soil for his light, an arm grabbed him he tried to scurry back only to be grabbed by his both his arms and pulled straight into the hole with the soil that lay over it he screamed as he was pulled right down through it.

The TARDIS came into phase with the breaks still on, no matter what Harry did the Doctor always drove with them on and he couldn't bloody remove them they were needed. They were heading for Rio and a beach for a break after their last adventure. The five of them had now been together for six months traveling around and seeing different things both in the past on Earth and into the future on different planets and places going all throughout Time and space Rory seemed to fit in well with them but more often than not they left him well and truly confused over everything they did.

"Behold... Rio!" Spoke the Doctor pulling open the TARDIS doors The sight that greeted them was a cemetery. Amy, Rory, Harry and then the Master stepped out.

"Nuh-uh." Exclaimed Amy knowing this was not Rio.

"Not really getting the sunshine carnival vibe." Explained Rory next seeing where they had landed.

"No. Ooh, feel that, though, what's that? Ground feels strange... is it just me? Wait... That's weird." Spoke the Doctor looking at the Master.

"What's weird?" Asked Rory. The Doctor carried on further into the graveyard the other two Time Lords leisurely followed him.

"Doctor, stop trying to distract us. We're in the wrong place, it's freezing, I've dressed for Rio. We are not stopping here…. Doctor! You listening to me? It's a graveyard! You promised us a beach!" Amy exclaimed she had, had to follow the three.

"Blue grass. Patches of it all round the graveyard…. So, Earth, twenty, twenty ish, ten years in your future, wrong continent for Rio, I'll admit, but it's not a massive overshoot!" Explained the Doctor while still looking at the blue grass that was arrayed in clumps. Amy noticed two people on the other side of the valley waving at them.

"Why are those people waving at us?" Asked Amy pointing them out to the others.

"Can't be!" Exclaimed the Doctor, Rory started to wave back but Amy stopped him. The Doctor took out binoculars and looked through them.

"It is! It's you two on that hill." Confirmed the Doctor.

"No, we're here. How can we be up there?" Asked Amy to the three Time Lords.

"Ten years in your future. Come to relive past glories. Humans, you're so predictable no wonder it's so easy for other races to keep taking this planet over or invading it." Spoke the Master in his usual voice when he thought humans were just too thick to be left alone.

"We're still together in ten years?" Asked Amy shocked.

"No need to sound so surprised!" Spoke Rory while looking at Amy unimpressed.

"Hey, let's go and talk to them! We can say hi to future us! How cool is that?" Decided then asked Amy only to start to grab Rory's hand, but before they could do anything the Master stopped them.

"No, best not, really best not. These things get complicated very quickly, and... Oh, look! Big drilling site. Oh, I love a big mining drill. See, way better than Rio! Rio doesn't have a big drill trying to dig into the foundations of Earth going down as far as you can directly into it, it's a straight drill all put together by connecting drill parts to make it go further." The Master spoke, he used the second bit to get the Doctor to notice it more than Amy, but it all worked out.

"We're not going to have a look, are we?" Asked Amy in resignation.

"Let's go and have a look!" Spoke the Doctor

Before Harry could comment he was standing with his Father in the inbetween. Null gave DEATH big a hug he had been doing that a long time now that he knew his Father really had emotions for him and really did care about him plus now that he knew DEATH had a physical body Harry enjoyed the hugs he got back off his Father.

"Hello Father, strange for you to pull me here though." Spoke Null looking up to his Fathers face from the hug.

"I'm really sorry Null, you can't go on this adventure and what is even worse is you will lose Rory Arthur Williams." DEATH informed him Null went to speak but his Father carried on.

"This is necessary Null, there is nothing you can do but you will try, if you are there, you would cause this planet to explode that's why I've pulled you here, he will eventually return to you but not how you expect, but you've seen him on that hill. So, give you dads the passphrase and carry on with your engineering lessons in the TARDIS. Nothing will happen to the other three I promise you! But you will lose Rory Arthur Williams and Amelia Pond will forget him, Theta and Koschei will listen to you they felt you blip as they call it and when you use your passphrase, they will know there is something more going on so will leave you to it, but you can't tell them they will see Rory Arthur Williams again. These are fixed points in Time that they don't realise but I do even you would but you would try to alter it, you would be trying to fight part of the Deity TIME even with MY vast powers at your disposal you would not win the fight in the way you would find acceptable as I said the planet would be ripped apart like your old one fighting against part of HER, it would be that destructive a battle, all just to try and get Rory Arthur Williams back which isn't possible in this instance and you also know what using your powers do to you. As you know you can pull on MY power as well, but you also know what the does to you especially now you are older and hold more of our joint powers yourself. I wish there was more you could do, but you can't go Null. This won't be like a temptation situation this will be a no matter what, if you go you will blow up the Earth destroying it and all on her situation, I am so sorry Null, but you will see him again, but Theta and Koschei can't know that. You know our private time in the inbetween is locked from them, but you shouldn't tell them he will come back, it would be a grave error to your future you need to make them believe that you think you and they have lost him." DEATH carried on, hugging Harry HE knew this would hurt HIS SON.

"Is there nothing I can do Father?" Asked Null quietly. He knew his Father always looked out for him.

"I am so sorry Null but no this has to happen, it is going to take time to get him back but he will return to you and to Amelia Pond your dads will have to put on an act and pretend everything is alright as will you in front of Amelia Pond because she will forget all about Rory Arthur Williams and again there is nothing that you can do about it, little things will niggle at her about him but overall it will be as though she never knew him. If you want, I can tell you more but only if you want or you can learn it all as you go." DEATH answered Null pulling him more into the hug.

"Please Father if Amy has to lose Rory even if she forgets him, we won't and we know how much she loves him." Null asked and then explained why.

"You have seen and heard of the cracks in Time and space that races are taunting Theta about, the Doctor in the TARDIS doesn't know…These are actually Time ruptures what they are doing is wiping time out they are spread throughout this entire universe, both in the past, the present and the future it is affecting everything and will affect everything, any more you will work out as you need to and see what you need to do as you work it all out Null but just like now you won't be able to stop it as I said they are fixed points in Time." DEATH explained to Null gently.

"So, Rory will be lost to a crack in Time, but the others are completely safe on this adventure and no matter what if I go, I will interfere, so you don't want me to go. You are absolutely sure Rory will be okay in the end no matter how we end up meeting him again, he will be alright in the end and still be with Amy?" Explained then asked Null still in the hug but again looking at his Father as they talked. He was squeezed gently again.

"Yes Null…. It will just take time and time always moves forward never backwards in a universe, even if you go into the past, you move forward in time from when you land. As you know only here is time meaningless or in the Time Vortex, we can spend a minute hugging and a year goes by or we could spend what would feel like a thousand years talking and only a microsecond passes in the real world. So, carry on with your TARDIS engineering course that one is really coming on for you, but you have missed some of your lessons on it with the timetable you have set for yourself since Rory Arthur Williams joined you on your travels, I'm hoping you will work out how to move throughout the whole of reality into a new universe when you are all ready to leave this universe behind on your own rather than with MY help there is plenty of time left for you to do that, but you need to know how to do all the repairs to a TARDIS first, even Theta and Koschei cannot do what you are able to do now repairing and designing a new console unit for a TARDIS they can only choose how it looks and you still have a way to go in the course so carry on with your studies on the engineering course for a TARDIS for this adventure." Explained DEATH to Null.

"Okay Father I will do as you ask and thank-you for again looking out for me." Null told HIM hugging HIM more.

"Always Null, now go on with your lessons, if you want to come and talk to ME again after you lose Rory Arthur Williams and you need someone to talk to then you know I am always here for you if you need ME to listen to whatever you want to say to ME, you know I enjoy our time together but you also know I want you to live within a universe and with emotions you need to be in one, but I will be here for you even if it is only to give you a hug and comfort I will aways be here for you forever, no matter what you need ME to do I will always support you as I always have done so." Spoke DEATH placing a kiss on Null's forehead and let him go, Null nodded and releasing his own hug stepping back and retuning to the universe no one other than his dads noticing he was gone.

"Actually, you four, I'm going to go back to the TARDIS I have been neglecting some of my course work with all the adventures we have been on and I need to catch up before I fall to far behind, I'll have food and drinks waiting for you all when you get back so even though were not in Rio have a good look around and enjoy yourselves." Harry told them all. Both the Doctor and Master looked at him they thought he would enjoy this adventure but knew he had blipped what had changed. He went up to the four and hugged them all he hugged Rory for a second longer and then let go.

"Are you sure Arbitrator?" Asked the Master giving him a look.

"Iswaswillbe…. Yes, I'm sure you all go have fun but you two don't talk to you future selves it could cause massive problems to much knowledge about the future can make it become fixed in Time meaning you would have to go through with it so stay with the Master or the Doctor unless they tell you to do something else." Harry answered his dad and then spoke to both Amy and Rory, both Amy and Rory nodded at him in seriousness and Harry turned to go back to the TARDIS hearing what's being said as he's walking away.

"Come on, let's see what they're doing at the drill site." Spoke the Doctor.

"If they can't get us to Rio, how are they ever going to get us back home?" Asked Rory to Amy.

"Did you not see, over there? It all works out fine." Amy told him.

"After everything we've seen, we just drop back into our old lives, the nurse and the kissogram?" Asked Rory.

"I don't know it's our future selves who we can't go and ask! It could be that with everything we've seen and done we decide to do something different with our lives after we stop traveling with the three of them, anyway they're getting away let's catch them up the Arbitrator sad to stay with them unless they told us to do something else." Spoke Amy and that was all Harry heard as he shut to the TARDIS doors closing his eyes and letting the few tears fall from his eyes that he had been holding in. Knowing he was safe as he couldn't be seen now by his dads you couldn't see inside a TARDIS unless you were in it also, he knew his Father wouldn't stop him from going unless it was serious but he needed a few minutes to cry he really liked both Amy and Rory.

Rory ended up separated from the main group when he returned to the TARDIS to put Amy's engagement ring back in the control room on the actual console unit, so it was safe where he put it, lucky Harry knew he was coming through looking through the timeline and had run to their private living room which only them three and Sirius could enter even Amy and Rory couldn't enter it they could come into the outer room they had the TARDIS create to let them know they wanted them, but they had to be let into their living room it was their own space where they relaxed and could be a family while they were in the TARDIS if they didn't want to use the main lounge. After five minutes he went into his own room and then into his bathroom and dried his eyes then washed his face so that it looked clean. Leaving his bathroom and bedroom he did as his Father suggested and went over to the console that had been installed in their living room after taking his seat he looked through the timeline and saw his Father was right and there were going to be no problems in the timeline until near the end of the adventure and this would take his mind off of it so switching the console on he carried on with his engineering course although it was his own timetable he was going off this had been his punishment from when he had first lived with the Doctor and Master as his dads and met Luke and Sarah Jane Smith, he was still doing the course but he had a schedule and with all the adventures they had been on recently he had been neglecting it, so he decided to try and catch up.

Once Rory got back outside of the TARDIS, he was separated from the group by a woman and a boy, the two from earlier, leading him off thinking he was the police. The woman explained about a dead aunt from six years ago disappearing with the coffin she was buried in, yet the site remained untouched, until they went to dig it up for her uncle. She led him to the site and explained to him how the ground lay undisturbed until they had dug it up so that her uncle could be buried with his wife. Rory said that he would look into it for her now that he was here even though he didn't have a clue as to what he was looking into after spending time with the three Time Lords he had found he could occasionally bluff his way out of situations which is what he did here, he asked the Lady for her address and phone number saying he had misplaced the paper work that was why he had come out of the police box empty handed as he couldn't seem to find it amongst the shelves in there and would let he know what he found out during his investigations asking if anything else that seemed strange had gone on other than the missing body. Luckly, she left him to it after telling him no it was only this, but it was indecent to rob a grave of a dead person. He said he would need to collect some equipment to investigate the grave for any clues and to carry on with whatever they were doing before as it could take him a while to go over everything he would need to.

The other three had made it to the drilling site but it was all locked up even though there were two workers inside the main drill site looking over the hole in the floor that Mo had unknowingly disappeared through. After the Doctor used his sonic screwdriver on the lock and asked about Rory they entered. They met up with the two in charge who were looking into the new hole they had found, the Doctor and Master both held up their psychic paper and pretended to be drilling inspectors for the government, it was a new department that they were in charge of and would become massive over the next few years especially with this site working how it had and this was their first big investigation, looking at their site and what they had achieved.

As the Doctor and Master were looking over the data the two people they had met in the room had been collecting, a man called Tony was one who was around fifty five and the other a coloured lady called Nasreen around the age of forty five, the room started to shake and holes appeared all around them the Doctor informed them the Earth was attacking them in this room and for them to run the Master, the Doctor and the female Nasreen made it to the exit but the male Tony was caught in a hole, the Master ordered Amy not to help but she ignored him she ended up being pulled through a different hole in the ground the three ran to them the Doctor and Master grabbed Amy while Nasreen grabbed Tony, he got out with the help of Nasreen and the Doctor told them all to shut down the drill, the Master left with the other two to do that and get it shut down quickly but it wasn't quick enough the room was shaking and Amy and the Doctor were losing their grip just as the drill shut down and the Master ran back into the room Amy was dragged straight under the soil into the hole she had fallen into.

They searched with their sonic screwdrivers for her and re-checked the reading that the other two had taken using the equipment they had set up and the laptops, but couldn't see anything out of the ordinary at the moment. Talking to each other they couldn't see properly what was going on. The other two soon joined them only to realise that they had lost the female with the two from the new department that they had been sent from. Once they worked out that it only happened when the drill was working the Master worked it out, he had done it himself it was bio programming from under the Earth 'bioformed buildings' it was from the past of an advanced race used in jungles and forests as well as in preservation areas like he had done on the holiday planet Floxum that he sort of owned. Suddenly the Master told them all to be quiet even the Doctor. He took readings with his sonic screwdriver and then laid on the floor before jumping up and hacking into all the drilling data on the laptops demanding to know why they had drilled in this particular site not anywhere else in the country. Both Tony and Nasreen started to explain about the blue grass that they had found all over the area and the fact that they found out when they had sent it to a lab to be tested that it was a mineral not seen in twenty million years only to be told by the Master that is was actually a warning to stay away from the area because as they were drilling down something else was drilling up and then the Master showed them on one of the laptops screens all the upwards drill sites that they had never noticed since they had started drilling into the Earth even their investigations into the area to drill hadn't revealed what he was showing them. He looked at the screen in more detail enlarging the lines that showed where whoever was below was drilling upwards only to then enlarge one particular drill hole to see three dots were ascending up from somewhere below the Earth giving out readings of both hot and cold temperatures, closing the lids on the computers and telling them to grab them the signatures coming up were people ascending from an underneath dwelling below the Earth and they were coming up fast the shafts were ways to escape from the settlement that must be underneath them. The Master calculated the time it would take the three dots to break through to the surface of the Earth and informed them they had twelve minutes until the three would be above ground at the speed they were going so they needed to move quickly luckily both the Doctor and he found out that there was only Tony's daughter, son in law and grandson who lived in the village all the other workers drove in to work on the site.

All four of them had run outside and up a hill Tony and Nasreen carrying the two laptops the Master had told them to grab only for Nasreen to point out a red sheen going over the sky the Master pointed his own sonic screwdriver at it and informed them it was a forcefield originating from under the Earth they were now all trapped with no way to escape, the actual forcefield went under the crust of the Earth the only way for them to get out of there would be for them to use the TARDIS but they weren't leaving without Amy.

They met up with Rory as they were on the move again only for the Doctor to decide they would all be better off in the church it would be the safest place for them with electricity. They got into an argument when Rory asked about Amy, both the Master and the Doctor calmed him down and promised him they would get her back, but they needed his support now.

They got into the church only for Mo's wife Ambrose to set about her Father as to where Mo was, it turned into a heated debate especially when she found out Rory wasn't really with the police and had bluffed his way through saying he was there as a forensic office to look into her missing aunt. Eventually Nasreen from the drilling site told the woman that the Master and the Doctor were the only two making any sense in this madness and that they had to trust them even though they now knew that they weren't from the government they knew better than anyone there what was going on. Mo and Ambrose's son Elliot asked the Master and the Doctor if they could get his dad back and all eyes even Rory's turned to the two of them, they said yes as long as everyone in the church with them did exactly as they were told to do by them. They had eight minutes left to sort everything out if they wanted this to work and for them to be able to stop the three dots that were ascending from underneath the Earth. The Master and Doctor explained that everyone would have to help them so all those there chipped in collecting and placing recording equipment, mobile phones, cameras and security cameras in strategic areas ensuring that they equipment that was being cobbled together was coving all the different angles in the small village so they could see everywhere in the village that the shield covered on the computer screens the Master got Elliot to draw map of where all the cameras were positioned as he set the laptops up to do what he wanted them to.

One they were finished Ambrose, was carrying a load of tools in her hands when she saw the Doctor inspecting the meals on wheels van, they got into an argument over the guns and defensive items she had brought like a cricket back a shot gun and a taser among other items. He told her that wasn't how they worked that she was better than this and it wasn't part of the plan for them to hurt the three that were coming up from beneath the Earth they needed to take them as hostages so that they could negotiate for the two that had been taken, Amy and Mo, to be returned by them and then he walked away. She looked at what she had collected and then decided to ignore the Doctors words and placed them all in the front of the van on the drivers and passenger seats just in case that they were needed she felt it was better to have them and not need them than not have them but need to use them, they weren't in the church near her son Elliot and he couldn't get into the van so he wouldn't be hurt by them but it was better to be safe than sorry.

The Doctor and the Master were working on the laptops explaining that as soon as they saw something move on the cameras and other surveillance equipment that everyone had helped place around the village that was now connected to the computers that they had brought form the drilling sight they could send a pulse through them to whichever camera something showed up on and knock anything out in that area stunning the three dots that were still ascending from underneath the ground. They were outside the church with a minute to go when the shield turned form red to black, making the whole village dark like it at night. They had to turn the lights on inside the church to see. Suddenly the room started to rumble, and the Master explained they were coming through the upper crust now only for all the power to go out, it had been done deliberately they had taken their power out by sending an over serge to stop them doing what they intended to do. Then they realised Eliot the little boy who had asked if they could get his father back for them wasn't with them when the Doctor admitted he saw him last and that he had gone to get headphones, Ambrose the other female that had met Rory as he came out of the police box set about the Doctor. Suddenly Eliot was banging on the door demanding to be let in telling everyone in the church that he was not on his own he was being followed, they tried to get the door open quickly but by the time they did the boy was gone.

Ambrose ran off and found Eliot's headphones near a gravestone but no sign of her son, falling to the ground crying she was attacked from behind by something. Her father Tony pulled the being off her and then shined a light in its eyes it was a green with two ridges along its head in a mask covering its face leaving the eyes and mouth exposed it struck out at Tony using its long tongue as he was pulling Ambrose back, getting hit in the left hand side of his chest by it causing him to collapse to the floor. The others met up with them and the Doctor theorised that the three now missing were all still alive or they would have just killed Elliot, Ambrose and Tony on the surface, he begged Ambrose to get into the church while the Master and him dealt with the attackers. The others all went into the church being herded by Rory who was giving them all a pep talk that he had travelled with the Doctor and Master for a while now and that they were the best people they would ever find to deal with something like this. While Rory was trying to keep everyone's spirits up even though Amy had been taken by whatever had come up from underneath the Earth the Master and the Doctor walked around the village with sunglasses on only they were actually infer-red glasses as soon as they saw one of the figures and followed it with both the glasses on and without the two of them realised what they were seeing or what they weren't seeing as this happened to be, they realised the attackers were cold blooded and they knew who they were dealing with and so set a trap, one amount of noise made by the Doctor with a CO2 container and the Master jumping out of the back of the meals on wheels van they threw a female inside trapping her in the back of the van as it was refrigerated.

The Doctor and Master explained to the other four in the church with them that they had an idea of just who the person they had captured was and now both sides had hostages they were in a stalemate which was the best possible situation they could be in. The Master and the Doctor decided they needed to talk to the prisoner to find out what was going on as they didn't have a full picture of why they had attacked the people in the village and why they had taken the people they so far had, Amy, Mo, Elliot and a dead aunt belonging to Ambrose and Mo, Tony's sister in law in a sense although the aunt was much older than he was so the Master and Doctor took her unconscious body out of the back of the van and placed her in the basement underneath the church to thaw out. She was three hundred million years out of her time. It took a bit of time and a lot of false bravado off the woman, but she eventually admitted they came up because her people thought they were being attacked, they thought the drill was an attack on their species and their settlement under the Earth.

The Doctor and the Master left her alone down in the basement after she told them she would die for her cause and her people what would they sacrifice for their cause or their people? They just looked at her then each other and left they both knew the answer to that both as a whole race and individually there was nothing they wouldn't do for their son and the Doctor had trapped their race in The Moment to stop the universe being destroyed.

The Doctor sat on the table that the laptops were set up on started to explain to all the others in the church that the Master and him were going to go down underneath the Earth to the settlement they expected to find there and negotiate for the return of their hostages now that they had one of their own.

"They're not aliens! They're Earth... Liens! Once known as the Silurian race, or, some would argue, Eocenes, or homo reptilia. Not monsters, not evil. (The Doctor stood) Well, only as evil as you are. The previous owners of the planet, that's all. Look, from their point of view, you're the invaders. Your drill that was going straight down into the Earth was threatening their settlement you had drilled twenty one kilometres down and intended to see how much further you could go. Now, the lady in the crypt. Her name's Alaya. She's one of their warriors and she's our best bargaining chip. We need her alive. If she lives, so do Ellio, Mo and Amy. Because we will find them and rescue them without any problems but Alaya has to be alive for them to remain so. While we're gone, you four people, in this church, in this corner of planet Earth, you have to be the best of humanity…... No dissecting! No examining! No harming her in any way whatsoever! We return their hostage alive, they return ours alive. Nobody gets harmed. We can land this, together. If you are the best, you can be. You are decent, brilliant people. Nobody dies today, from either side if one does they all do. Understand?" The Doctor explained the asked they got an agreement off them all and so they both left leaving the others there to look after Alaya while they went and negotiated for Amy, Mo and Elliot to be returned to them in exchange for Alaya to be returned to her people.

The Doctor and Master left to use the TARDIS to get there, Nasreen followed them and demanded that they take her with them they were going down into the Earth far deeper than they had managed to drill in all the time that had been at it, it was something she had dreamed of all her life to see underneath the crust of the Earth. The Master and the Doctor looked at each other talking to each other telepathically and agreed to let her accompany them they entered the TARDIS and let the door swing shut but they did not lock it so she could follow them, Nasreen was outside the TARDIS front doors arguing with Tony who was in love with her, Ambrose's Father, he didn't want her to go but she was adamant this was a once in a life time offer and she couldn't refuse to go she had to see what it was like under the Earth it was deeper down that she ever thought possible around thirty thousand feet the Master had told them while looking over the data at the drill site and Nasreen wanted meet a whole new species that was three hundred million year old. Tony eventually gave in after telling her to be safe, then he gave Nasreen a passionate kiss telling her he loved her and let her go entering the TARDIS.

The Doctor and the Master realised when the entered up the ramp to the control room that the doors to the living areas were sealed over and the TARDIS communicated with the Doctor to leave his and the Masters son alone, he was definitely in the TARDIS and she wouldn't let him leave not even with SATURN which was a shock to him. When the Doctor told the Master, even he was shocked and wanted to know why but the TARDIS wouldn't say anything else other than to reassure them that her was onboard and would stay in their living room working on his engineering course which is what he was doing at the moment. As the Doctor and Master worked out where they needed to go using the TARDIS computer and started to enter the needed coordinates into the console unit Nasreen joined them mesmerised at the inside of the TARDIS knowing it was only a police box on the outside the Doctor had to smile as he got his favourite line off her as to how it was bigger on the inside and she wanted to know how that worked. After a very quick explanation they started to descend the Earth only to find the TARDIS had been hijacked and they were being pulled down by something else, what was worse they couldn't stop it no matter what they tried something was pulling them down at an alarming rate and it wasn't because they had dematerialised to get down there.

The three remaining adults went to look at the woman they had caught Rory assured her they would keep her safe, but she returned she knew apes better than themselves and knew which one would kill her to ignite the war to rid the Earth of them they had been on this planet far longer than them and they would not let the humans continue to try and kill it off or continue polluting it. They left but Tony didn't follow them, he went to find a mirror and looking into it saw the veins in his shoulder and chest turning green from the wound where he had been hit by one of the soldiers tongue.

The TARDIS landed and the three stepped out, the Doctor explained they had hit their main shaft for going up and were a lot further down than the drill he explained he didn't actually know how far down they were now but the Master put in it was at the thirty thousand feet mark that he thought it would be their main shaft only came down that low maybe a few hundred meters deeper but no deeper, she wanted to know why they weren't burning alive and the Doctor looked at the Master saying it was a good question, he told Nasreen they were looking for a small tribe, a little settlement or something like that, only for her to go in a different direction to the Doctor and the Master they decided it would be better to follow her so that they didn't get split up only to see what she saw, it wasn't a little settlement, it wasn't a small tribe, it was an entire civilisation living under the Earth and it was massive! After finding that out the Doctor and Master with Nasreen were walking along a corridor agreeing the best way in was to use the front door approach and be open and honest as to why they were there only to hear alarms go off the Doctor thought about the back door approach but before he could do anything but voice it, they were surrounded by Silurian's all three placed their hands up and the Doctor tried to explain they had come in peace unfortunately the Silurian's gassed them knocking them all out.

Amy had been held and awakened to find herself strapped to a chair Mo was on the right hand side of her strapped into a chair of his own and told her to shut her eyes and not look when a man wearing a mask entered and locked Amy totally in place but didn't notice her swipe the locking mechanism back out of his pocket, he was just about to start to dissect her like he had done with Mo when he was called away. Amy made a break for it realising herself from the restraints of the chair and getting herself out of it only to do the same for Mo taking him with her. As they were walking around the area looking for a way to escape they came across Mo's son in some sort of small see through pod with organic looking things along the side of his upper body chest and face, Mo wanted to know what they had done to his son, Amy said the Doctor and Master were needed for this and there best bet was to find them they would either already be down here looking for them or they would be up on the surface but they had to find them quickly.

Unfortunately the Doctor, Master and Nasreen found themselves waking up from being gassed to be going through decontamination the Master and Doctor screamed as they were put through it they had to explain while in absolute agony that they weren't human and putting them through a human decontamination cycle would actually kill them as they had parts in their body that would read as foreign to another human eventually before it killed them the scientist turned the decontamination cycle off before it had a chance to fully kill them the other Silurian with him demanded he carry on. The Doctor talked as fast as he could while still showing respect that they were not human and had only come down for the hostages that they had taken Amy, Mo and Mo's son. The Doctor was not happy to find out the female with the male scientist was military and on top of that she was the military officer in charge of overseeing that their race was kept safe, the Silurian military officer explained that the drill the humans had been using were hitting their air pockets and wanted to know when the rest of the invasion force was due. The Doctor and the Master tried to explain yet again that that they had come in peace and had only come down to collect the other three taken and that they could then have Alaya back that she was safe that the drill was not an attack against them it was simply the humans looking for more answers the grass that they had sent up to the surface as a warning was taken the wrong way and when studies of it had been done and they found out it was a mineral that hadn't been seen in twenty million years they had decided that this was the perfect area to set the drill up that the humans had been using to drill into the Earth that they had no idea that their race was even down here or that it was so large. Then things turned serious when she told all three of them that she was going to send a message to the surface that their race would not stand for it and that if it came down to it the Silurian's would fight back, that message was their death to be show to the others they had caught within their shield.

Amy and Mo stumbled upon what looked like the people that had taken them, only for Amy to work out that they were in suspended animation and that this was their way out the mats they were on must have been what made the holes in the surface so if they used them, they would take them to the surface. Mo decided they needed the guns the two beings they had opened the chambers to had if they were going to look around Amy wasn't sure she knew how much the Doctor hated violence and although it didn't seem to bother the Master as much she knew he would not be happy either as the Doctor seemed to be the one that set the examples that both the Master and their son followed even if their son was also someone else's son and a much more powerful being at that, but they both still followed the Doctors lead, there were occasions when they didn't but it was very rare for them to go against the Doctors ideology. Mo convinced Amy that if they were going to start to wander around this place if she really thought this Doctor and Master that she had told him about were going to try everything they could to save them that would mean them coming down here, which she assured him would be easy for them to do, that they should at least be armed in case they needed to be Amy wasn't happy but in the end could see the logic to his argument so took a gun also. They went through a door at the end of the corridor only to find lights coming on from the front to the back, they both saw row upon row of the suspended beings there must have been hundreds of thousands. Amy told Mo they had to find the Doctor and Master urgently.

The Doctor and Master along with Nasreen were walking along the complex in between Silurian soldiers the Doctor was explaining to Nasreen that the ones with them must be the only ones awake as the main Silurian race had put themselves into hibernation millennia's ago to avoid the apocalypse because their astronomers predicted a planet on a crash course with the Earth when all it really was, was the moon coming into alignment with the Earth and settling into the perfect position for it to obtain a stable orbit but still affect the tides of the Earth. The scientist who was behind them wanted to know how he knew that, and the Doctor explained he had met others of their race a long time ago and then the military leader demanded to know what had happened to the rest of their race the Doctor had met and the Doctor looked around upset and guilty to the Silurian's, he then had to sadly explain that the humans had wiped them out over a misconception which is why the Master and he had come down here so there wouldn't be one this time they wanted to resolve this problem peacefully.

Back on the surface Ambrose had found out what was wrong with her father Tony when she found him sweating and helped him sit down after he had raided a first aid box for something to help with the pain he was in. At first he told her he was fine but eventually he showed her the veins on the left hand side of his upper chest going up to his left shoulder that had turned green and so Ambrose went to confront the prisoner they held to find out what she had done to her father and how they prevented it spreading and remove the poison that was obviously infecting him, she had the taser with her yet she had no intention of using it, it was there just as a safety net in case the prisoner became awkward or tried to attack her she refused to call her by her name Aliya as far as Ambrose was concerned she was an invader to their planet and was an enemy combatant who had seriously injured her father, but the prisoner wound her up so much that while at first, she was scared to use it, she now wanted to use it and did she hit the prisoner with it right in the top of her chest where her father had been hit by one of the Silurian's that had come up to the surface and taken her son and attacked her father she didn't know if it was the prisoner or not. Tony and Rory hearing the scream off Aliya came running down the stairs into the basement to see what was going on. Rory had been tending to Tony at the time that they heard Aliya scream, the prisoner Aliya told them all that she knew it would be the one with the most to lose that would start the war, Rory tried to help Aliya, he even begged her to tell him how to do so, but she just sneered at them all especially Rory before she just suddenly stopped breathing no matter what Rory tried to do she was dead.

The Doctor, the Master and Nasreen were taken to what the Doctor commented was a very posh looking place that was beautifully designed only to be informed it was where they held their tribunals. Amy and Mo came in from different exits and Amy demanded they let the Doctor and Master go now that they had found them only for the military female to grab the gun off Amy and demand the gun off Mo as well the other soldiers with them took the gun off Mo, the military leader, who the scientist called Restac, got into an argument with the scientist, called Malohkeh, over the treatment of the prisoners, they were both the same rank but now because of Amy and Mo turning up with their own weapons to use against them making demands of the Silurian race it had caused it now to become a purely military matter and made Malohkeh leave for his labs when he tried to convince her that what she was doing wasn't their way she ignored everything he said to her insisting that he return to his labs as she had a tribunal to run, he eventually gave in and left the room. The Master, the Doctor, Amy and Mo were tied to pillars within the tribunal room so they couldn't move while Restac set everything up ready to start the tribunal.

Restac created a transmission to a computer screen that was just dumped in a pile on top or a load of junk in the basement of the church up on the surface, all three of them were still in the basement and could see the others in the background both Ambrose and Rory shouted out to their significant others while Tony shouted out to Nasreen. Restac demanded to know who spoke for the apes, Rory eventually moved forward and explained that he did only for her to demanded to see the prisoner by name she informed them all that one hostage would be executed at a time until she could speak to Aliya and to kill Amy, Rory shouted no, only for the screen to go off before anything happened. The military leader was stopped from firing on the first hostage by a True Elder and leader of their race. They got into an argument especially when she realised Malohkeh had woken him so she couldn't run a tribunal and kill the prisoners so that she could get Aliya back the True Elder told her that she was only there to ensure the safety of their race not to start a war neither did she have the authority to do so, Restac was disgusted and told the True Elder so they use to hunt apes for fun now they polluted their world, and they were allowed to get away with it and it seemed this True Elder was in agreement with Malokheh he even went so far as to tell her if she wished to try and execute the prisoners she would have to kill him also. In the end the Elder dismissed Malokheh and her soldiers but she told him he would need her and her military before the end of this conflict then they would see who was right that apes would always be apes and they had started the conflict drilling into their air pockets trying to suffocate them they couldn't be allowed to continue suffocating them before they could strike back with their invasion force. Even after all that he still told Restac to leave him and the prisoners to talk and to take her soldiers with her they would not be needed.

The other three, Rory, Tony and Ambrose in the church basement were panicking over the screen being shut off before they found out what had happened to the prisoners they didn't know if Amy was dead or if there was another problem, they all saw people they knew held against their will for Rory it was Amy the Doctor and the Master for Ambrose it was Mo and for Tony it was Nasreen. Rory was trying to calm them both down explaining that they had enough trouble Ambrose had already damaged their cause by the fact she had killed off there only bargaining chip to get the hostages back alive and he hoped that she was proud of herself now he was likely to lose his fiancé, Tony was likely to lose Nasreen and she was likely to lose her husband and son when he was already working on Tony to try and help him as best as he could and he was a fully qualified nurse but she couldn't help herself killing the prisoner they were told to look after to the best of their ability and under no circumstances were they to harm her they had just fished another argument when the screen turned back on and it was the Doctor that appeared on it not the female Silurian the Doctor instructed them to go to the drilling site to the room with the holes in it that Tony knew where he meant and they would send up transport discs for them all and that they had to bring their captive Aliya with them and escort her down on one of the disks for the exchange of them for her and then told them he had to dash and shut the screen off before he could find out what had happened off Rory was stood in front of the monitor when it had been turned back on so the Doctor didn't see Aliya dead in the background.

The Doctor and the Master were stood at the top of the conference table that was in the tribunal room Amy and Nasreen were sat on one side of the conference table that the True Elder who they had found out was called Elder Eldane sat on the other side facing them. The Master and the Doctor were at the top explaining that they wouldn't speak for humanity as neither of them were human it was up to Amy and Nasreen to do it Amy wanted to know if this was what happened in the future the planet got shared, the Doctor explained to both Nasreen, the scientist Malohkeh and the Elder Eldane that the Master and himself along with their son travelled in Time and space with Amy and Rory the one who had been on the screen as Elder Eldane and then he had talked to on the monitor on the surface.

"There are fixed points in Time as we've explained to you before Amy, where things must always stay the same way as they are laid out, they cannot be changed they have to remain as they are in the timeline there is nothing that can be done about that you cannot alter a Fixed point in Time. This is not one of them however. This is an opportunity, a temporal tipping point. Whatever happens today, will change future events, create its own timeline, altering the future. The future pivots around you. Here. Now. So do a brilliant job. For humanity, and for Earth Amy and Nasreen, Elder Eldane you have to do what is also best for your own race the three of you between you must reach a compromise and an agreement that is the best for both races to come together in harmony Silurian and humanity sharing planet Earth together." Explained the Doctor, but the Doctor looked at the Master and telepathically asked if he felt something wrong especially with the way their son behaved after he had blipped the Master agreed there was, but they would talk to him later about it they needed to sort this out first. They left Amy, Nasreen and the Elder Eldane of the Silurian race, to talk about how they could share the Earth and benefit from both sides and went to go and get Mo's son with both Mo and the scientist Malohkeh that had woken Elder Eldane so that he could stop them from dying by ordering the military leader Restac from killing them allowing them all to sit down and have peace talks instead. They knew the Scientist Malohkeh respected humanity now compared to how it used to be when the Silurian race still lived on the surface of the planet themselves before going into hibernation.

Back on the surface they group had carried Aliya's body to the room with all the holes and laid her on the ground Tony commented that as soon as they got down to the bottom it was over even though they had brought the body of the Silurian warrior, she was dead and it was all his daughters fault. Ambrose pulled her father off to talk to him in private she had a plan to ensure that she got both her son and husband back but she would need her father's help to pull it off. At first after listening to her beg him to do it he refused but the more she pushed until she mentioned Elliot and begged him to do it for him if no one else, after hearing that he agreed and told Rory he just needed to use the toilet before they left and to wait for him then went to do what was needed.

While the scientist Malohkeh, the Doctor, the Master and Mo were at Mo's son's chamber Mo threatened the scientist if his race had harmed his son in any way there would be trouble, the Silurian scientist explained that all he had done was slow his son's life cycle down to a millionth of what it should be so he could study him for a lot longer than normal they never hurt the young it was one of their most fundamental rules their young were precious to them and so they treated all young the same way be it human or Silurian. The Master said it was good to see another race that felt the same way about their own children as their race did as even today some of humanity didn't care for their children and more and more teenagers and young women were falling pregnant and having children just so they could stay at home and not have to work as the government offered subsidies for single mothers and families with so many children within it. The Doctor found out the scientist's own family had worked for millennia studying life and humanity on the surface of the planet and it had been him on his own for the last three hundred years doing it now.

Back in the meeting chamber things weren't going quite so well as the Elder Eldane sat there that day across the table from the humans Amy and Nasreen the future of both species and of their beloved planet Earth rested in their hands, but as the discussions went on, he began to despair about whether they would ever find any common ground between the two species, as ambassadors for their own species they all had too much to lose if one gave to much to the other or left the other with too little to make it worth it. The Elder brought up an image of the Earth at Amy's request.

"So, what about the areas that aren't habitable to us? Australian outback, Sahara desert, Nevada plains... They're all deserted by human populations." Amy explained but her companion disagreed.

"Yes, fine, but what happens when their population grows and breeds and spreads? And anyway, what benefit does humanity get, and how would we ever sell this to people on the surface?" Questioned Nasreen in disagreement, then the Elder Eldane spoke.

"Maybe I could tell you. You give us space, we can bring new sources of energy, new methods of water supply, new medicines, scientific advances. We were a great civilisation and without boasting we are far ahead of humanity in our evolution. You provide a place for us on the surface for our race to co-exist with your own, we can give you knowledge and technology beyond humanity's dreams. We work together and this planet could achieve greatness." Was what he put forth. Both Amy and Nasreen looked at each other both agreeing that actually could really work. The Doctor, the Master, Mo and Eliot walked into the room the Doctor and Master actually clapping congratulating them on a good first meeting and the Master actually meant it, 'bioforming' was impressive to him it was why he had used it so much on Floxum because it could be used in conjunction with the surroundings so it didn't look out of place yet was much more technologically advanced than other equivalent ways of building places.

The scientist was checking the reading on the device Mo's son was in and he had told the other four to go on without him but then he heard an alarm that wasn't right and shouldn't have been going off, when he went to investigate he found the military leader Restac and the contingent of soldiers she had awake while looking after their races safety releasing soldiers one after the other he demanded she stop but she refused she would protect her race from the apes, he tried to back away from her to go and inform Elder Eldane and the others as to what she was doing as it was against even her remit to do what she was only a Ture Elder could arrange for more of the army to be woken up rather than what she had awake normally and she was making decisions she wasn't meant to normally, he had started to slowly back away to ensure he could report what he was seeing to Elder Eldane only for the military leader Restac to shoot at him so he couldn't warn anybody causing him to receive a blast to the chest and he fell down dead.

Back in the meeting room Elder Eldane was announcing that the other three that were on the surface with one of their soldiers were now here but only Rory, Ambrose and finally Tony walked in. The others had got up to greet them only for the Doctor and the Master to draw in a breath Tony was carrying a bundle in an orange blanket. Rory had his head down the Doctor was angry showing the start of the oncoming storm out for everyone to see and feel he demanded to know that they hadn't done this, Ambrose admitted it was her, but her father had joined Rory away from her and her son went with them, even Mo kept away from her looking shocked at what she had done. The Master apologised to Elder Eldane saying they had no idea about this they had left strict instructions that Aliya was not to be harmed in any way whatsoever. The Doctor was disgusted he had told them to be the best humanity could be and she had let them all down now and he said so, she demanded that this was their planet, and they would be left alone on it, only for the military leader to come in from the main doors followed by dozens of soldiers that she had released all entering from different points in groups she even had four Silurian warriors behind her. She demanded her sister only to see her on the floor dead. She virtually cried over her. The Doctor begged for her to give humanity a chance to show they were better than this that they had evolved from petty violence that the actions of one person couldn't determine a whole race, the military leader said they were all the same and had been since they had gone into hibernation. They all then found out they had no choice but to let the humans and the Doctor and Master go if the Silurian race wanted to live the drill had been set to start in fifteen minutes Tony looked to Nasreen when she rounded on him demanding an explanation, he said they had Eliot his grandson and he had, had no choice his mother had asked him to help ensure she got her son and husband back his son in law and grandson. The military leader demanded she be executed both the Doctor and Master pulled out their sonic screwdrivers and fried the first guns that were going to fire at them then told everyone to get out, even the Elder was threatened and had to run with them himself, the two Time Lords ended up frying all the others guns before they could shoot at them, as they ran, the Master shouted they needed to get to the scientist's lab. As they ran for it the Master and the Doctor went last covering their retreat frying more of the guns that were going to fire on the others and them, they had to move out of the way of a few of the soldiers very long tongues after they had taken out the weapons of the Silurian warriors as they were nearly attacked by them like Tiny had not that either knew this at that moment. They caught up with the others and told them to get to the lab they would cover them the Master and Doctor both had their sonic screwdrivers out and held against the soldiers with the military leader Restac taking charge of her warriors she had lost her gun it had been fried already the Doctor told them to either stop what they were doing and have peace talks or they needed go back into hibernation the military leader refused but he told her one warning and that was it, they both fried the other guns and ran for it as they retreated to the scientists lab.

They met the others in the science lab and sealed all the entrances before the Doctor demanded to see what Tony was hiding as he was sweating and out of breath sat down while the others were all fine even if their adrenalin was pumping, they found out he was infected but instead of him actually dying he was mutating into a member of the Silurian race the Doctor found out when he took a scan of the wound made by one of the Silurian soldiers that had come up to the surface. The Doctor got the Elder to work on stopping the spreading of the mutation by sending him through the decontamination process which should get rid of it as it would read as foreign to a humans body and that was what the decontamination chamber was set for, while the Master had all the others checking the screens where all the cameras were showing what was going on outside the lab and trying to find a way to remotely stop the drill that Tony had put on a timer starting it again. The Doctor came up with the idea, send a pulse straight up through the Earth at the drill causing it to blow up Nasreen was shocked it would ruin her life's work. She agreed but pointed out that they needed to be away from here as it would cave in the drill sights that the Silurian race had made to the surface or made on their way up to the surface from what the Master had shown them on the computers when he was looking for Amy meaning that they would be stuck down here with no way out especially as they were surrounded by soldiers and the military leader could wake up even more to force her way in here.

The Elder came up with a plan for them, he could send out a signal of toxic fumigation for the whole city everyone would be warned to enter cryostasis shutting the city down, Nasreen pointed out it would kill all his people that were out of the chambers at the moment he replied that it would only be those following the military leader and refused to return to suspended animation withing their own chambers, the Master asked him if he was sure he wated to do that he actually preferred them to the humans at the moment however he didn't voice the last bit, the Elder explained that the Earth wasn't ready for his race yet so the Doctor compromised he told him to set a timer to wake his whole race up in fifteen hundred years then told the humans with him which was Tony and his family along with Nasreen they had that amount of time to be ready for them to pass it on in prophecy, folk lore, as a story or anything but to spread the word the thirty fifth century was the year the Earth was shared by the Silurian race and humanity had to be ready for them.

Then they all set to work the Master using the keys on the system to send the pulse up to the drill sight, The Master was impressed that the Silurian race used fluid controls for their systems as he had done to some of the buildings on Floxum it's why he loved the bioformed buildings they worked in harmony with the planet rather than domineering it, after setting it all up the Doctor realised they couldn't take Tony they only had so many minutes left and he wouldn't be through the decontamination, Tony told the rest of his family to leave him and go that this city was his only hope of survival and that he would always be there waiting. Ambrose blamed herself but Tony told her not to and for Eliot not to hold it against her either she was his mother, he told his grandson that he wouldn't see him again, but he would be with him always in his heart. Then they were ready to be off, the Doctor told them they would have only about a minute to run to the TARDIS. Nasreen shocked them all when the others were told to follow her and the Doctor would come up the rear to make sure they were all together, she said they would have to follow the Master she was staying with Tony, they would enter cryostasis together, she had found what she had always been looking for life under the planet. Amy ended up returning for the Doctor, he was hugging Nasreen, Amy shouted to him, he checked his watch, then grabbing Amy they ran for it with her.

They came to the TARDIS and the Master was stood their holding the door open Mo, Ambrose and Elliot were already inside Amy had to grab Rory as they were running, he was going in the wrong direction having got lost even though he was in the middle of the group to start with, the Master shouted for the three of them to get into the TARDIS but before they could all four noticed the crack in the wall and that it was getting bigger.

"The Angels laughed, when I didn't know. Prisoner Zero knew, everybody knows, except me!" Spoke the Doctor moving towards the crack.

"Doctor, just leave it." Spoke Amy.

"But where there's an explosion, there's shrapnel." Explained the Doctor and pulled a hanky out of his pocket and put it between his fingers and thumb as though to grab something as he walked to the crack.

"Doctor, you can't put your hand in there!" Spoke up Rory shocked.

"Why not?" The Doctor asked then reached in with the hand holding the hankie. He cried out in pain and the light got brighter. Rory and Amy were watching nervously, not knowing what to do.

"I've got something!" Shouted the Doctor.

"What is it?" Amy asked, the Doctor pulled back and fell to the floor clutching the item wrapped in the hankie. It sizzled with heat and energy.

"Doctor!" Rory shouted seeing the dying military leader Restac who was crawling into the tunnel. The Doctor jumped up off the ground.

"She was there, when the gas started... She must have been poisoned then followed us." Spoke Amy having seen her on the screen.

"You!" Shouted the Military leader at the Doctor.

"OK, get in the TARDIS, both of you." Spoke the Doctor to the two of them and reached into his Jacket pocket placing his hanky and the piece of sharpness he had pulled out of the crack in the wall.

"You did this." Shouted the military leader again and pointed a gun, she had taken off one of the soldiers that still worked, at the Doctor. Rory pushed him out of the way while shouting out the Doctors name, unfortunately the military leader had pulled the trigger as Rory moved the Doctor out of the way and he collapsed to the floor.

"Rory!" Shouted the Doctor, Master and Amy. Rory groaned in pain on the ground just as the military leader died.

"Rory, can you hear me?" Asked the Doctor while using his sonic screwdriver on him.

"I don't understand." Spoke Rory in pain and confused.

"Shh-shh. Don't talk." Spoke Amy as she stroked his face.

"Doctor, is he okay? We have to get him into the TARDIS!" asked then ordered Amy at the Doctor.

"We were on the hill. I can't die here." Explained Rory not truly understanding Time travel.

"Don't say that." Spoke Amy crying on Rory's face.

"You're so beautiful... I'm so sorry Amy." Rory told Amy stroking her face then he died before anything more could be said his arm falling back to the ground.

"Doctor, help him!" Demanded Amy but the Doctor looked towards the crack and saw tendrils of light reaching out, touching Rory's feet.

"Amy, move away from the light is starting to surround Rory, if it touches you, you'll be wiped from history. Amy, move away now." Spoke the Master commandingly.

"No! I am not leaving him! We have to help him!" Amy refuted still holding on to Rory.

"The light's already around him, we can't help him." The Master told her while gripping her shoulders so she couldn't run off.

"I am not leaving him!" She shouted at both the Master who was holding her and at the Doctor.

"We have to." Explained the Doctor in sadness.

"No!" Amy screamed at them.

"Sorry!" Said the Doctor as he grabbed her with the Master and hoisted her up and away for Rory.

"Get off me!" she shouted at the two.

"I'm Sorry Amy!" the Doctor gently told Amy and this time lifted her off her feet straight up so she couldn't get a grip on the floor and carried her to the TARDIS as she was hitting out at his chest trying to break free but he had a tight grip of her. The Master going before them leaving both doors open and moving up to the top of the ramp.

"Get off me, let me go!" Amy shouted, but the Doctor carried her inside the TARDIS and banged the doors to using one of his feet before he put her down.

"No! No! No!" She shouted as she started to run to the doors the Master used his sonic screwdriver on the door locking it before she could get there, he had seen the timeline then he made his way to the console unit. She shouted and pounded on the door, crying her eyes out.

"Let me out, please let me out... I need to get Rory." The Doctor walked determinedly to the console unit. Amy turned around, tears streaming down her cheeks. She saw the monitor.

"That light, if his body's absorbed, I'll forget him. He'll never have existed. You can't let that happen." She begged the two Time Lords, but The Doctor pulled on a lever on the console.

"What are you doing?" Demanded Amy running to the two Time Lords at the console unit.

"Doctor! No!" She shouted at him, but the TARDIS began to dematerialize. He went to her leaving the Master to run the controls on the console unit on his own and pulled her into a hug which she ended up hitting him again on his chest in frustration.

"No! No! Doctor, we can't just leave him out there!" She shouted at him as she continued to hit is chest.

"Keep him in your mind. Don't forget him. If you forget him, you'll lose him forever." Explained the Doctor gently still holding Amy.

"On the Byzantium, I still remembered the Clerics because I am a Time traveller, now the Master said it made all the difference." Amy explained crying hoping it was the same situation here.

"They weren't part of your world. This is different... This is your own history changing this is your direct past that will be erased." The Doctor explained and grabbed her by the head to look into her eyes.

"Don't tell me it's going to be okay. You have to make it okay." She demanded off him with tears still coming out of her eyes.

"It's going to be hard, but you can do it, Amy. Tell me about Rory. Fantastic Rory, funny Rory, gorgeous Rory. Amy, listen to me. Do exactly as I say. Amy, please! Keep concentrating. You can do this." Spoke the Doctor to her.

"I can't." She spoke back angrily to the Doctor with only a few tears now falling down her face.

"You can. You can do it. I can't help you unless you try to rember him. Come on. We can still save his memory. Come on, Amy. Please." The Doctor begged Amy wiping the tears from her eyes and off her face.

"Come on, Amy, come on. Amy, please. Don't let anything distract you. Remember Rory. Keep remembering. Rory is only alive in your memory you must keep hold of his memory everything you did together. Don't let anything distract you. Rory still lives in your mind." Spoke the Doctor trying to get her to concentrate on Rory wiping her eyes now she had stopped crying making her face dry.

The TARDIS shook upon materializing, knocking both of them to the floor. The box containing Amy's engagement ring that Rory had returned to the TARDIS as the others were going to look at the frill with the doctors and Masters permission to keep it safe fell onto the floor in front of the Doctor and he stared at it in shock.

"What were you saying?" Asked Amy to him brightly as though nothing was wrong a second ago the Master stared at the ring that had fallen and realising what had happened and what would now happen very quickly, pretended to help the Doctor up also hiding the fact they he also quickly grabbed the box and hid it in his pocket so Amy wouldn't see it. Mo, Ambrose and Elliot walked down the stair on the right hand side as you entered the TARDIS even though the living area was still closed off they could see the seating area as they went past.

"I have seen some things today, but this is beyond mad." Exclaimed Mo as they reached the bottom and walked over to the console unit.

"Doctor! twenty seconds till it all goes up!" shouted Amy looking at her watch that she was using to count down to the drill being destroyed they exited the graveyard to daylight the TARDIS has materialized in the graveyard overlooking the drill site.

Elliot, Amy and Mo were stood in the graveyard in front of the TARDIS as the Doctor, the Master and Ambrose stood at the entry to the cemetery still in hearing distance.

"All Nasreen's work just erased." Exclaimed Amy so all could hear her.

"Good job she's not here to see it. She's going to give Tony hell when they wake up." Commented the Doctor seeing the drill go with all the others. They just watched it as it collapsed in onto itself before Mo and Elliot started to make their way back over to Ambrose.

"You both could've let those things shoot me. You both saved me." Explained Ambrose unable to understand why they had saved her after what she had done.

"An eye for an eye. It's never the way. Now you show your son how wrong you were. Now you show him there's another way. You make him the best of humanity... In the way you couldn't be today you turn him into the best human being there is!" Spoke the Doctor for them both then they looked at her with a gentle smile each before walking back over to the TARDIS themselves.

"You two are very quiet. Oh! Hey! Look! There I am again! Hello, me!" shouted Amy who waved to her future self who was alone.

"You go back into the TARDIS we'll be in with you in a second I just want to sort the lock out on the door first it's sticking." The Doctor told her.

"Okay, you boys and your locksmithing, anyway I feel like I need a holiday Rio or somewhere." Amy told them and she entered the TARDIS.

"I pulled this out of the crack in the walls that we are being taunted about the Doctor in the TARDIS doesn't know." Explained the Doctor lifting the piece he had taken from the crack out of his pocket and holding it up to the TARDIS where it matched part of a sign on the TARDIS door showing it to the Master.

"We need to talk to the Arbitrator something more is going on with all of this." Spoke the Master back. The Doctor nodded agreeing with him. Both entered the TARDIS only to see the doorways and everything back open now to them as though their son was off lockdown. They shared another look something more was defiantly going on.

They entered the TARDIS together and Amy was smiling waiting for them, putting on a front for her they smiled back.

"So, Rio, how about the planet it's a carnival planet with everything, from relaxing beaches, to concerts, to amusements and more all you could want for a break, three week holiday sounds good the Arbitrator been working too hard and you can see he's falling behind he needs a break and to just stop and catch up hes finished Floxum but we have never taken him there." Explained the Master covering up what was really going on.

"Sounds perfect, I can't believe he missed out on a three million year old species living under the Earth just to work, he saw the timeline like you two and still didn't want to come?" Amy explained then asked. Now the adventure was over it had been exciting in a way a species that lived on the Earth before humanity, yet he had stayed behind in the TARDIS to work.

"Well then off we go before he can alter the plans!" Spoke the Doctor and he and the Master were at the console unit and on their way the TARDIS confirming that their son was still onboard.

"A night of rest first then let's see the planet Rio for a bit give us forty minutes then we will eat in the kitchen." Spoke the Doctor now they had landed. Amy nodded so off to their rooms they went.

When they entered their living room Harry was curled up on the sofa crying his eyes out, the Master sealed the room pressing the blue jewel that Harry had enchanted to produce the blue shield he could put up if he wanted total privacy in a room somewhere he had created one any three of them could press to do the same for their living room.

"I couldn't do anything Father stopped me HE told me I couldn't go with you I had to return to here and stay here no matter what. HE said I would have destroyed the planet if I had come with you so HE was stopping me, I would have fought against the crack and HE said that it's cracks in Time that are causing the cracks to appear and I would have destroyed the planet trying to fight against part of the Deity TIME. So, I couldn't go with you, it wasn't like a maybe it was it definitely will happen if I went. So, I stayed here and watched the timeline, the TARDIS even sealed the door to here when you noticed the crack. Then the timeline played out. She will never remember him. The timeline has changed permanently. Father said these cracks are all over Time and space the cracks are everywhere. She was the girl who waited, I know we lied for the reason taking her but she shone, and fitted in so well with us, then we brought Rory to travel with us who was confused at everything that went on around him but would follow Amy to hell and back and because she trusted us he did to, and he also wanted to shine and he did in his own unique way, they've become like extended family in only six months I know Amy has travelled for eighteen months but these last six months have been brilliant all four of us together its been like having Sirius with us only going to other placed other than just Disney world and now we've lost Rory and there was nothing I could do, I don't know what to do with myself Father said to persevere for Amy as Rory will never be remembered fully now again other than by us three history has completely changed." Harry explained and then started crying again. Both The Doctor and the Master moved over to Harry and sandwiched him between them lifting him up so they could sit down he was getting older now no longer the small boy adult. They just held him at first giving him comfort. After a few minutes Theta spoke while whipping their sons face to get rid of the tears that had fallen.

"If the cracks are in both Time and space then we can sort it, we are Lords of Time and we can close them, we will find away before we lose anyone else. Even if you had been there and not used your Extra powers you would have been as useless as I felt when the light started to take Rory. I wondered why you hadn't appeared but noticed the doors leading to the living area were still sealed over. Even the TARDIS agreed with your Farther, she told me that she wouldn't let you leave not even with SATURN…. There was absolutely nothing you could have done Muklo, you are the one who always says humanity holds a lot of promise, if you destroyed the Earth then there goes humanity on a whole." Theta spoke quietly and gently to their son while returning holding him fully with Koschei.

"Muklo your Pere is right I honestly didn't think there was anything you could do so it wasn't such a shock we felt you blip before the adventure started and then you used your passphrase when you said you were coming back to the TARDIS to work that you had things to catch up on, we know using that phrase means you know more of the situation and with you blipping we realised it must have been your Father communicating with you telling you something that was important. HE was only looking out for you and humanity, don't forget Sirius is still alive in Cardiff, because of today. It's a good job the Elder was sensible and wise, or it could have also ended just as badly for us all. Theta show him what you pulled out of that crack Muklo do you know the reason this was pulled out of the crack though?" Explained then asked Koschei. Theta then showed their son the part TARDIS sign and he took it off Theta.

"No but I recognise it as I'm sure you two do. What's that doing in the crack? Does that mean sexy could be destroyed because of this?" Asked Harry to his two dads looking at each of them while still holding the piece up.

"No, well I don't think so, a TARDIS is a complicated being, as you've always said she is alive and sentient she would not let herself be blown up without a lot going against her. Especially now that we have a fully working console unit designed by you from your course and remember she can see Time herself probably better than even you son!" Explained Koschei.

"Maybe the doors take damage in this thing? But why are we being laughed at by different races who have seen the cracks 'the Doctor in the TARDIS doesn't know', prisoner zero and the weeping angels knew about it the sisters of the water had run from cracks in Time she said they were all over some big some small, it seems to affect a lot of races." Asked Theta then explained his thoughts out loud and accepting the piece of the TARDIS door sign back off their son.

"Fathers advice was to follow the timeline, but how do we tell Amy, or don't we, Father said to put on our faces and bear it unfortunately to make her think we have no idea who Rory is even though there will be little reminders of who he was to her. HE has never steered me wrong before, but this is Amy and Rory." Explained Harry.

"She doesn't remember him Muklo to her he was never born and never lived he's just gone, and the timeline has compensated for that loss now, your Father is right, we will just have to put on our faces and keep going forwards." Explained Koschei.

"HE reminded me of that, no matter where we go, time still moves forward even if we are in the past we are always heading for our future, but HE wouldn't say what that was only to persevere basically." Harry told them.

"Then that is what we will have to do and help her move on. I've already removed her engagement ring from the control room when it fell off the console unit, I will leave it in our bedroom in here then she won't see it and wonder. It would have been funny if it wasn't for the fact of what that ring is, she would have found it and thinking it was the Doctors and he was giving it to me, she told him it was too girly and demanded to be taken shopping for something more male for me. Theta went red and was stuttering like no tomorrow over it. Don't worry dear I'll help you chose me a ring when you ready!" Explained Koschei to them both but the last was said at Theta. As expected, he did go red.

"I don't think that going to happen for a few more years anyway, at least you have been a proper couple for a quite a while now and it seems to be going well, you both seem happy more so with companions…. Sorry." Harry started off, then realised what he had said they had lost one today only he knew it wasn't for good but couldn't say anything to them he had to let them think Rory was lost to them.

"So why would you destroy the earth Muklo?" Asked Theta gently.

"Because I would be battling part of the Deity TIME and the clash between the two of us would have destroyed the planet Father explained that because I have grown and aged it would have meant that I am powerful enough to have blown the planet apart and even then I can pull on HIS full domain of DEATH as HIS SON so HE said HE was stopping me as the fight would cause the Earth to be destroyed." Harry explained.

"So, you will become a Deity eventually?" Asked Theta looking thoughtful he was the son of DEATH a Deity really in his own right.

"No I am the SON of DEATH not a Deity and not an agent, but the way it works is the older I get the more power I can hold and channel but there is also the ability because I am connected to DEATH so closely that I can pull on HIS domain just as easily hence me calling him Father we are that close together as the two of us can be you know I can control the powers off HIM. HE taught me at the mental age of seventeen everything to do with the powers of HIS domain, as awful as it sounds when we get reality travel back we could end up going to a universe where we have to wipe out the universe we are in, for some severe reason, I would be able to decide to end the life there. If I killed off all the life within that universe I would be causing what would feel like a little cut to the Deity LIFE. The same with all the other Deities other than the Deity TIME in that universe. But the other deities would know they couldn't hit back as Father would back me up you know HE only has emotions for me and as I said I can pull on HIS full power. Then again Father might never put something like that on my shoulders and do it on HIS own without letting us go there in the first place, we wouldn't be there long if it was like that, there would be no point as I said about my old universe I would not like to see it a universe without the human race in it I think that is why HE actually stopped me so I didn't destroy the human race." Harry explained to them.

"Well at least we know why you didn't want to come after you blipped, then you used the passphrase we gave you and we did listen, as we promised we would. If there was nothing you could do, then you were right to stay here we will get Amy through this, but we couldn't lose you Muklo that would be too much for the both of us and as you point out the human race is still important even though we have been disgusted by some of their acts they are still the dominant species in this universe and if you destroyed the Earth that would end the human race." Spoke Theta gently. They were all still being quiet and could see tears occasionally fall from Harry's eyes.

"I'm sorry I couldn't be there." Harry replied again.

"Muklo there is nothing to be sorry for both your Pere and I will tell you that, and it's the truth if you looked through the timeline then you could see yourself none of us saw it in the timeline the way he did it, it was too quick, you might have got a shield up but that still wouldn't stop Rory collapsing after pushing Theta away and the light would have still got him he doesn't know we would have been safe and by the time it was explained it would have all been over." Explained Koschei gently.

"I know I'm just so upset, after all that time and all the things it ends like this." Explained Harry upset but slightly twisting the truth without his dads knowing.

"We are currently on the planet Rio for a few weeks relaxation, did you catch up with your studies?" Explained then asked Koschei next.

"Yes, even though I followed the timeline I still worked I really only kept a small eye on it Father told me both of you two and Amy would be fine and so I got on with my work. It was only at the end I took real notice of what was going on and that is when I was sealed in here the main door shut to our living room and sealed over. It lifted when we landed again after moving once but that wasn't a natural cause, even though you tried to aim for the settlement you got pulled down. Then I felt us take off and the door unsealed and then I felt us move and land again so were on Rio? I've never been here, what is it like?" Explained Harry then asked his questions he was intrigued.

"It's as good at relaxation as on my planet Floxum just not as high tech, but they have a worldwide carnival atmosphere going on its quite relaxing some of the things you can do. We want you to have a three week holiday now you've caught up with your work you need one to get over this loss like we all do." Koschei explained what they wanted to do and why.

"Okay, are we resting first though? Today has been heart wrenching knowing I couldn't help." Asked Harry to them.

"Rest first after we have eaten, we thought you would be upset about this Muklo, hence the break from everything just three weeks of enjoyment and relaxation, even the tots on Gallifrey had time off for what you would call holidays." Explained Theta. Harry was still being hugged by both of them nodded agreeing to have a holiday with them and not do any work. They stayed like that for about twenty minutes before Harry tidied himself up in the sink again then they went to collect Amy, lucky he had prepared dinner for only four and it was cooking for them it would be ready by the time they got there.
