The sun was already up and so were the citizens of Konoha. The light found its way through the window of Mebuki Haruno directly into her eyes. She woke up from her sleep. She turned around in her bed and quickly realised that the one who she was looking for wasn't there.
"Did he leave already?" she said.
"No, I'm still here" replied a voice in her bedroom that was looking outside the window.
Mebuki got up from her bed and made her way towards him despite her still being naked.
She leaned on his shoulders. And watched outside the window with him. Before she realised.
"SAKURA WAS OUTSIDE LAST NIGHT" she exclaimed in horror.
"Don't worry she came back after you passed out, she slept here and then left for the academy" he answered.
"She saw you?" asked Mebuki, her skin going pale.
"No she didn't," he explained, calming her down.
"Mebuki, I have to go now, but I need to tell you something before I leave," he said in a serious tone.
"What is it?"
"Danzo Shimura, will ask for your clan to become a shinobi clan, they will make a medical division and join Konoha's military forces," he explained.
"WHAT. SOSUKE YOU KNOW THAT I DON'T LIKE THE SHINOBI JOB,THAT'S WHAT GOT MY LATE HUSBAND KILLED IN THE FIRST PLACE, MY CLAN HAS BECOME PROSPEROUS BY TRADE NOT BY FIGHTING" exclaimed an extremely enraged Mebuki.
Naruto listened to her entire answer before replying: "Mebuki please listen to me, i know you don't like for your clan to risk their life, but please will you do this for me, i need you Mebuki and i promise nothing will happen to you or your daughter".
Mebuki could see that he was sincere. She was not used to seeing this side of the man she loved, she had always seen him confident, powerful, at times even arrogant but this, this was different.
"I-i-suppose i-i can for you," said a stuttering Mebuko.
"Thank you very much my beautiful" he said before giving her a kiss on the lips.
"You have a visitor" he added before using Flash Step to get away. Right after he left the bell rang on Mebuki's door.
After getting a safe distance from the Haruno House he transformed back into a child and made his way toward the academy.
He entered the classroom but oddly enough the class was quite something which had never happened before.
"So they have learned of Iruka's death" he thought to himself.
Without talking to anyone he made his way to the back of the class where he sat alone waiting for the instructor that was supposed to come and tell them in which team they would be placed in, Naruto already knew which team he was in but he had to come otherwise it would raise suspicions.
Then the door of the classroom opened revealing a rather large man entered the class.
"Hello everyone, my name is Daikoku Funeno and I am going to be the one to tell your new teams and sensei" he said but got no response from the class. He expected as much, their sensei had died.
So he started telling everyone their teams. Naruto didn't pay much attention to the civilian teams but things changed when he came to the 6th team.
"Team 6 is made of Naruto Uzumaki, Satsuki Uchiha and Sasuke Uchiha, your sensei will be Yamato" proclaimed the Chunin.
While the 2 Uchiha's were happy with their team it was clear that Naruto's mood changed, his eyes became darker, something that his sister didn't miss.
"He made me an official member of the Uzumaki Clan," thought Naruto to himself.
"Team 7 is composed of Sakura Haruno, Menma Namikaze and Narumi Namikaze, sensei Kakashi Hatake" continued the chunin.
"Team 8: Hinata Hyuga, Kiba Inuzukua and Shino Aburame, sensei Kurenai Yuhi"
"Team 10: Ino Yamanaka, Shikamaru Nara, Choji Akimichi sensei Asuma Sarutobi" finished the chunin.

"So that's every team, is everyone happy with their team's" asked Minato.
After not receiving any replies he told them that they can leave. All of them left except for his student Kakashi Hatake.
"Do you need something Kakashi?" asked a curious Minato.
"I noticed that you named Tenzo as sensei for Naruto Uzumaki"
"Yes I did, do you have a problem with it?" replied Minato shortly.
"No, I do not doubt Tenzo's abilities. I was his sensei after all, but Tenzo was an Anbu for the last couple of years, and his emotions are quite disconnected. Is it wise to leave Naruto with him" said Kakashi sharply.
"What are you trying to get at Kakashi"
Kakashi sighed before continuing "I met the boy last night he was the one who killed Mizuki"
Kakashi's words shocked Minato. He hadn't read a full report but he had assumed that the Anbu had catched the traitor Mizuki and executed him, he hadn't even thought that Naruto could have been the one to kill Mizuki.
"It was clear the boy was good, he radiated power as he walked, to be able to kill an academy teacher in single combat is no small feat, but that's not what worries me, it was clear he bears a lot of hatred for the village, will Tenzo be able to change him for the better" replied Kakashi.
Minato looked at his last living student, guilt clear in his eyes.
"Naruto's case is complicated to say the least," replied Minato, who clearly wanted to skip the topic.
"Is he your son or not?" asked Kakashi in a low, dangerous voice that was determined to get answers from him.
"Yes Naruto is Minato's and Kushina's Son" answered a female voice that just entered the room.
Kakashi immediately turned his head around to look at the one who had entered the room.
"Lady Tsunade, you are here in Konoha, i did not know" said a shocked Kakashi.
"But how do you know about Naruto?" added the masked Jonin.
"Minato called me here so that i can perform a DNA test on him, unfortunately for him he was disappointed to learn that Naruto was his child" explained Tsunade who held a disgusted look on her face.
"So then why does he have brown hair and eyes?" Kakashi was getting more and more curious.
Tsunade sighed before she said her answer " To be honest even i don't know that but if i have to guess it is most likely a genetic disorder. Because while It is possible for offspring to have a trait that neither parent shows, Naruto looks like he doesn't have traits from either Minato or Kushina, which is impossible as he carries both of their DNA"
"So you don't know either huh"
"Unfortunately no, I wished I could do some experiments on him to learn more but he didn't want to" added Tsunade.
"What do you mean he didn't want to?" asked Kakashi.
"He showed up for the DNA test but afterward he told me that he didn't really care who his parents were and that he didn't need them and then walked out" said Tsunade, who had an amused smile on her face.
Kakashi didn't say anything, he bowed once and teleported out of the room.

Team 6 and 7 were the only one's left in the classroom, all the other teams had already left since their sensei's had picked them up. On his way Kiba had Joked about their sensei's being losers and after 2 hours of waiting it was certainly looking that way. Naruto had fallen asleep at the end of the class, Sasuke was doing nothing, while Satsuki was reading a book she often took glances towards Naruto something that Menma had seen and was enraged by it but there was nothing he could do about it.
His parents had seen his hatred for Naruto as well as his bad attitude towards everyone else so they had scolded him all night last night claiming that their children had lost all discipline and had become spoiled. His sister was no better either; she had been scolded by her parents for the first time in her life and she hated the feeling.
The only one oblivious to the tense situation in the room seemed to be Sakura. She was trying to get closer to Sasuke, It was clear she always had a huge crush on the raven haired boy despite the fact that he ignored her 99% of the time.
After what seemed to be forever Naruto woke up from his sleep and began looking at the door.
"So they're finally here" he thought to himself.
As he was thinking, 2 Jonin made their way into the classroom.
"Is team 7 here?" asked the Jonin with silver hair and a mask that covered most of his face and his forehead protector covering his left eye.
"Here" replied the 3 members of the Team, before they were asked to follow their instructor to the roof of the academy.
"And i guess you guys are team 6, we'll come to training ground 6 we'll meet there" ordered Yamato before vanishing in a puff of smoke.
"Well we heard him let's go" said Naruto before he vanished from his seat.
His quick escape left Sasuke Uchiha confused, since when was Naruto so fast? Though his sister wasn't so shocked she had seen that Naruto was powerful he had defeated a Chunin last night. But she didn't have much time to admire him as she had to go to their team meeting spot.
Yamato had arrived at training ground 6 with the Body Flicker Jutsu, and was now preparing on how to meet with his new students. After all this was a brand new experience for him, he didn't even want to be a teacher but the Hokage had forced him to. But he was pretty shocked to find that one of his students had already was Naruto the one the Hokage had taken him out of the Anbu for, he wanted Yamato to look after Naruto.
What the Hokage hoped to achieve with him was unclear to Yamato but he wasn't one to question an order of his superior.
"Naruto? How did you arrive here so fast?" asked Yamato with a bit of caution and curiosity in his voice.
"I teleported here, '' replied Naruto as if this was no big deal.
"Teleported here, may I ask how?" Yamato was confused and he wanted answers.
"I used the Body Flicker Jutsu to get here, that's all there is to it" replied Naruto before sitting down on one of the nearby rocks while placing his hand on his chin and staring off into the distance.
"Yep Kakashi was right he will be a hard one to deal with" thought Yamato to himself, fortunately he wouldn't have to deal with the emo for long, as he spotted the rest of his team coming towards them running.
After arriving the 2 Uchiha's stopped to catch their breath after running basically half of the village.
"Alright everyone please sit down. Today we will simply begin with introductions. I'll go first and then you can go after me, sounds alright?" said Yamato and after getting nods from the siblings continued.
"Well my Name is Yamato, i am a Jonin of Konoha i was a student of Kakashi Hatake once, i have a few special abilities that you will find out in the future"
"One of my likes is Architecture" which raised some eyebrows from his students.
"So what about you guys"
Satsuki decided to take the initiative and speak.
"My name is Satsuki Uchiha. I graduated from the academy alongside my twin brother, i like hanging out with my friends, and goal is to become strong to protect the people i love"
"And I dislike traitors," she finished.
Sasuke went next and he basically said the same as Satsuki. Yamato was happy that at least 2 of his students were not dark and were willing to work with one another. The real problem would be making Naruto work with this team.
"And what about you Naruto?" asked Yamato.
"My name is Naruto, it seems that recently I have become an official member of the Uzumaki Clan despite not actually wanting to. I graduated from the academy with the goal of becoming the next Hokage of Konoha" This shocked Yamato. He wasn't expecting something like this.
"Why Hokage?" he asked.
"I want to rebuild the village in my image and for that I need to become Hokage, my likes are training and strength" he added.
"And I hate a lot of things mostly disloyalty and weaklings, these are the 2 things that make my blood boil" added Naruto.
"I see," said Yamato, dismissing Naruto's words as if he was a child.
"Well now that we know each other i believe we can hold the test tomorrow" proclaimed Yamato.
"What test?" asked a clearly confused Satsuki.
"Well you guys are no really genin yet, for that you have to be accepted by your Jonin sensei and to be accepted we will hold a test to see if you are worth becoming Genin and you shouldn't bother cheating since every sensei makes different tests according to their demands" explained Yamato.
"How many of us get to pass, is there a limit?" asked Naruto.
"No, there is no limit if all of you can pass. That's not a bad thing, in fact that's an even better thing since the military forces of Konoha would be strengthened" answered Yamato.
After bidding his new students farewell Yamato disappeared in a Body Flicker.
"Well that takes care of that," said Naruto as he got up "i'm going to eat something you guys want to come".
Sasuke and Satsuki looked at each other and then nodded. "Sure".

Minato was sitting inside the chambers of the village council listening to them argue among themselves. He had been the one to call the meeting yet he was being ignored. He hated the feeling, it was time that he reasserted control over them.
"ENOUGH" he roared ''SILENCE ALL OF YOU I AM THE ONE THAT CALLED THIS MEETING AND YOU WILL ALL LISTEN TO ME''. After the proclamation of the Hokage everyone in the room went quiet.
'I called you here to discuss important matters'' said Minato after regaining his composure ''Right now the village is in a bad financial situation, we need to come together to find solutions, do any of you have any ideas''.
''May I ask why are we in a bad situation Lord Hokage'' asked Fugaku Uchiha '' if i have to offer solutions i need to know the source of the problem''.
''That's the problem, we don't really know how we are losing money'' replied Minato. His statement left everyone in the room confused.
Fugaku turned towards Shikaku Nara '' Shikaku your clan is the one that handles financial affairs in the village right''.
The lazy Jonin would usually be sleeping through those meeting but today he was fully serious his clans honour and pride were on the line ''Yes my clan has been handling the financial affairs of Konoha for generations now and we have never had any this kind of irregularities until now'' he was about to continue but he was rudely interrupted by Hiashi Hyuga ''Nobody cares about the past Shikaku, the fact is that you are having problems managing the finances of the village now and that is a fact''
Shikaku wasn't happy with being interrupted and that was clear but he did not raise his voice ''As i was saying before i was rudely interrupted Konoha never had financial problems even on times of war so this is a new experience for us, and i believe that there could be 2 problems for this either the documents of the shinobi missions that were delivered to us were fake and that we have a traitor among us which would mean we have been paying our ninjas for missions they have not been doing or the second option that someone has been spending money of the village with the Hokage seal without permission both options include a traitor in our ranks'' finished Shikaku.
''So one of us is a traitor'' asked Tsume Inazuka, ''Not necessarily, the traitor could be someone of a low position that just happened to be in the right places at the right time''
''That could be true however if it turns out to be the first option what solution will we have for that it's not like our shinobi would be willing to simply return the money they got for a reevaluation do you have a solution for that'' said Danzo Shimura who decided to break the silence.
''I don't have a solution for that one'' responded Shikaku Nara '' I guess i have one'' said Danzo who got the attention of everyone in the room.
''What is it'' asked Minato ''The medical corps is one of the most paid of our entire military forces despite being inactive for years i believe we can capitalise on this''
''How'' was the common question asked in the room, ''if we remove the medical corps from their job and then give its job to one of the clans, i believe we could have a cheaper more effective division kinda like the Police Task force of the Uchiha Clan''
Everyone had stopped and listened to the old war hawk and they had to admit that what he said made sense. Even Minato who didn't like nor wanted to listen to Danzo found it hard to disagree with his logic. '' And who do you say we give the job to?'' he asked.
''Well about that i believe that giving the job to Shinobi Clans would waste valuable man power for the armed forces. Instead I suggest giving the job to a civilian Clan, after all most civilian children fail the academy and go on to do nothing so instead of having them roam around like parasites i suggest we put them to good use'' answered Danzo.
''I very much doubt that any civilian clan would be willing to give up their comfortable position to fight for the village and even if they decide to, they have no experience in healing'' said a septic looking Inoichi Yamanaka.
''The fact that they don't have any experience in the medical field can be solved quite easily after all we have Tsunade here and as for not wanting to we should ask them''
''You clearly have someone in mind so get to the point'' replied Fugaku Uchiha without even looking at him ''Yes i do have someone in mind, The Haruno Clan'' said Danzo ''The Haruno Clan are not a clan that can keep their mouth shut'' shot back Tsume Inuzuka that did not like the idea of the Haruno Clan becoming a Shinobi Clan.
''We are not asking them to fight, we won't be trusting them with village security info they will be a medical unit''
'' I know that but'' Tsume wanted to reply but Minato raised his hand to stop her from continuing before he turned his Anbu behind him.
''Go and call Mebuki Haruno as well as Tsunade Senju'' ordered Minato as his Anbu left to obey the order.
Minato didn't want to do as Danzo said as he knew the old geezer didn't propose this new plan of his for the future of the village but for some alternate plan of his but at the moment he did not have any other option and his idea seemed to be the only.

Naruto arrived at training ground 6 half an hour before their scheduled meeting and he was the first one there, while waiting he decided to look around the training ground for different locations and spots that could give him an advantage. Time went by quite fast as he already spotted his 2 teammates arriving, both of them wearing a different attire.
Sasuke used to wear a collared dark blue t-shirt but now he looked different. He was wearing long white pants with black boots underneath, with a kunai pouch at his right knee. He was also wearing a tight long sleeve t-shirt underneath a black short white sleeve hoodie as well as black gloves in his hands.
Satsuki was also wearing a black attire. She was wearing a black dress that went just below her thighs with long black socks that covered the rest of her legs. She was also wearing sandals instead of boots like Sasuke. But the thing that stood out most was the typical war armour that she was wearing on top of her dress with the Uchiha crest on the back with a red waistband and a massive open shuriken on her back.
''O hey guys you certainly look different'' greeted Naruto with a happy smile on his face ''What's with the new outfits'' he asked.
''Well mom wasn't happy without our old outfits. She said that we didn't look like proper Shinobi so she made us new ones. What do you think of it'' asked a Satsuki that wasn't hiding her happiness.
''You look like a Goddess'' replied Naruto without a care in the world.
His comment didn't fail to make Satsuki blush ''Y-y-you i-idi-iot d-d-don't s-say that'' she stuttered.
Sasuke did a fake cough to get their attention ''So i assume that sensei isn't here''.
''No he isn't, i just hope he isn't as late as he was yesterday''
Just as they were talking in a puff of smoke, Yamato arrived. ''Hello everyone, how are you today''.
''We're ready'' replied Sasuke. Yamato smiled a little ''For your sake i hope you are ready''.
''So what will we do today sensei'' asked Naruto ''I'm not your sensei yet'' answered a somewhat amused Yamato ''You'll be soon enough'' Naruto shot back.
''Well they're confident at least'' noted Yamato to himself. ''Well my test is simple'' he said as he pulled 2 bells from his pocket ''You have half a day to get these bells from me''.
''Why are there only 2 bells'' asked Satsuki ''Oh the ones who get a bell get to stay while the one who doesn't will be send back to the academy, so that's why i have only 2 bells'' Yamato was trying to intimidate his students with advice from Kakashi but he was disappointed to see that none of his students faces changed and that they were taking the news rather well.
''You can start'' the moment those words left Yamato's mouth his students vanished. ''Well they're fast i'll give them that'' he said as he started walking towards the forest they escaped in ''I wonder who's gonna face me first''. His question wasn't answered as the first step he took into the forest set off a couple of traps that launched Kanai's from every direction. He was able to avoid them at the last second using his fast speed.
He was impressed they had thought ahead and planted traps while they probably knew that they would probably not work, they still had tried. He noted to himself that he had to be more careful. He focused on his surroundings and spotted 3 more traps he went to try and destroy them but he didn't have time because Satsuki appeared in front of him, her massive shuriken on her back now in her hands.
She immediately threw the weapon at him but he was able to dodge it due to his superior speed. Unfortunately for him the smile on his face quickly faded as the shuriken that went behind him vanished in a puff of smoke revealing Sasuke Uchiha who threw another massive shuriken towards him. ''I didn't think that they would work together. I might have to use Mokuton –'' his thoughts were completely interrupted as he was punched in the gut by Naruto who came out of nowhere. His blood splashed on the ground, as he crashed against the tree making a large cracking noise.
''Ahh i see they are using Genjutsu'' thought Yamato as he made the necessary hand signs to undo the Genjutsu only to be greeted with the sight of Satsuki charging at him with kunai in hand. He immediately substituted himself with a tree branch just above her. ''Dammit I almost had him'' shouted a frustrated Satsuki.
''A good attempt I must admit but good is not enough I'm afraid'' he answered back. Satsuki simply scoffed before going through hand seals ''Earth style: Earth Dragon Bullet'' shouted Satsuki as a dragon made of mud hurroled towards Yamato who was shocked that a genin fresh out of the academy had enough chakra for such a Jutsu.
Nonetheless he dodged the Jutsu only to find out that the Jutsu was decoy for her to get behind him. ''I have to use it'' thought Yamato as a wall of wood rose between him and Satsuki who slammed into it.
''What the hell just happened'' complained Satsuki as she held her head with her hand ''That was my ability pretty useful wouldn't you say so'' said Yamato with a cocky smile on his face, it was rare but he was actually having fun here.
''Oh yeah, how about this for an ability? Fire Style: Great Fireball Jutsu'' finished Satsuki as she sent a massive fire towards Yamato from an extremely close distance. She watched as the fireball hit her sensei only for him to disperse into smoke. A Shadow Clone. With a quick tap to her back of the neck Yamato rendered her unconscious. ''One down, two more to go''.
Yamato cleaned a bit of dust off from his clothes and continued in his march towards the forest, he extended his senses to the entire forest, strangely he saw Naruto in a branch of a tree nearby just watching him out in the open with no cover, was he stupid or was he that cocky? He didn't know but he decided to not test him, maybe he had a plan and was waiting to execute it at the right moment.
As for Sasuke he was able to sense him a bit further away, he was well hidden and was waiting for a good opportunity. He decided to go after him first. In one quick burst of speed he made his way across the forest right behind Sasuke who didn't even notice him.
''Hey there Sasuke how are you doing'' the voice startled Sasuke who turned back with incredible speed only to see his sensei further away from him ''Good reaction speed Sasuke''
''DON'T MOCK ME'' roared Sasuke as he charged towards Yamato. ''Is he really just gonna charge at me recklessly?'' thought Yamato but his opinion was changed in seconds after Sasuke pulled something from the pouch in his knee. ''Lightning Style: Electricity Release''.
Yamato's eyes widened ''That was an instored Jutsu in the scroll'' he didn't have time to react as he was hit by the electricity that was released from Sasuke's scroll. Just as Sasuke put his hands near the bells Yamato opened his eyes and with a powerful kick to his gut sent Sasuke flying into a nearby tree. The moment he got back on his feet he began looking around only to see no one.
His sensei had suddenly disappeared. Only to appear underneath him and punch him again. ''You disappoint me Sasuke'' told him Yamato only for Sasuke to disappear in a puff of smoke. ''What?''. Sasuke appeared in a tree branch far away from the battlefield that he was taking part in before. ''You hurt''.
''No i am not, how did you get me away from there?''
"I used Forced Substitution Jutsu on you'' explained Naruto. "What you mean you can use the technique that Izukita Namikaze created" exclaimed a more than surprised Sasuke. "Yes that's what i said, but enough about that let's get back to the issue at hand, i believe that we should work together on this" added Naruto.
"Won't we get disqualified?" asked Satsuki. "I don't believe that, if that were true than why have we never seen a team with only 3 members all teams of ninjas consist of 4 members, 3 students and 1 sensei"
"So your saying that he was lying"
"It is possible that he is only testing our teamwork," added Naruto, his theory making more and more sense, "Do you have a plan?" asked Saske.
"I do have one alright here's what we are going to do"
Yamato was left wondering after seeing Sasuke disappear in a Substitution Jutsu without swapping places with anything. "Hmm you're back already i didn't expect that" said Yamato as he looked at Sasuke from the corner of his eye. Without replying Sasuke started going through hand signs.
"Fire Style: Great Fireball Jutsu" he said. "Come on, your sister already tried that it won't work". As the fireball came toward him he jumped up above it to avoid it. "Wind Style: Breakthrough" said the voice of Naruto who appeared behind Yamato redirecting the fireball of Sasuke towards Yamato's back. "What, when did he appear back there?" exclaimed Yamato, who was in a very bad situation.
"Wood Style: Wooden Wall" he yelled as a wall of wood rose from the ground to protect him from the incoming attack. The impact could be felt throughout the entire forest.
"Well, well you 2 working together i must say i wasn't expecting that" said an almost proud Yamato. "Always expect the unexpected otherwise you might fall under an illusion" replied Naruto.
"You're saying I am under Genjutsu," asked Yamato. "It is a possibility" answered Naruto before summoning a sword on his hand and unsheathing it. "You use a sword".
"Come and find out" he said, taking a fighting stance one more time.
Yamato took the invitation charging towards them both "Now" shouted Sasuke.
Before he could even register the words Sasuke said he had to dodge as massive shuriken flew right over him. "Shuriken? Satsuki is with them as well" though Yamato.
Sasuke, seeing that his sensei let his guard down for a second, took the opportunity to get behind him and strike at his unprotected back. "Fire Style: Phoenix Flower Jutsu" he yelled.
"Dammit to many of them" thought Yamato before feeling a sharp pain in his belly his eyes widened to see Satsuki in front of him putting a seal on him. This was bad if he was hit by the Jutsu coming towards him at the back he would be severely injured if not completely killed, but to his shock the Jutsu was sent away by a massive gust of wind, before he could say anything he saw that he was tied up by the seal Satsuki put on him.
"Well sensei, I guess we win, don't we?" said a cheerful Satsuki. Yamato was shocked, his team's potential was unreal with proper training. In a couple of years they would surpass him and even his own sensei, Kakashi.
He smiled "Yeah I guess you guys win, if you are working together i guess you already know the true meaning of the test" he asked "Yup teamwork right" replied Sasuke.
"What happened to Naruto and what did you do at the end?" he asked. He was very confused. "You can't figure it out sensei," said a voice from a branch of a nearby tree.
"Well Sasuke was the one who first appeared to fight you then I put an illusion over Satsuki to make her look like me and then send her to come and fight you" he explained. "But why" asked Yamto "Well i was the only one you hadn't fought to this point so you couldn't take the chance of underestimating me so when Sastuki took out the sword, even though you knew about Sasuke getting behind you, you couldn't really get your eyes off of what you assumed to be me, so i distracted you even more with a gust of wind leaving the perfect opportunity for Satsuki to place a restraining seal on you" he explained.
Yamato couldn't really say anything, he was outsmarted by his team and accepted his defeat.
"Well guess there's only one thing left to say" he said as he paused mid sentence " you all pass" he congratulated them. He could clearly see happiness on the 2 Uchiha's faces but Naruto looked like he didn't care at all which made Yamato wonder if he even wanted to be shinobi but he couldn't deny the boy's prowess. He was a rare genius like Itachi Uchiha.
Yamato took a look at the clock he had set up for the test "Just in time" he thought. "Well that's it for today guys we'll meet here tomorrow at 8, don't be late" he told them before vanishing in a puff of smoke.

Yamato appeared in the Hokage Office where he was greeted with the sight of all Jonin Senseis, to his surprise even Kakashi was there. "Ah welcome Yamato we were waiting for you please get in line". Yamato saw that they were in line according to the time each of them arrived. He didn't say a word and obeyed.
Kurenai Yuhi was the first in line so she stepped up first "Team 8 consisting of Hinata Hyuga, Kiba Inuzuka and Shino Aburame have passed. They have flawless but overall a good team with enough training they will become a great tracking team".
"And their combat abilities?" asked Minato.
"Hinata Hyuga is a girl with a lot of potential but she is very shy and timid she is afraid of hurting others, Kiba Inuzuka is a powerful ninja but he is brash and charges in battle without any sort of strategy. Shino Aburame is a calm and strategizing person and the brain of the team his bugs make him a formidable opponent due to his scouting and chakra draining power" she gave a detailed report.
"Understood".
After Kurenai next went Asuma Sarutobi "Team 10 pass, overall i believe they might be the weakest team out there. Ino Yamanaka despite the fact that she is from the Yamanaka Clan is quite weak even compared to civilian children and her one ambition seems to be getting the affection of Menma is Nara so naturally he is as lazy as they come but he does have quite a brain that i am sure if he wasn't so lazy he could have been one of the best ninjas of the entire village. Choji is only interested in eating but he is willing to go along with what Shikamaru says so in other words without me Shikamaru is the only one who keeps the team going" he reported before slipping back in his place.
"Yes they are going to be quite a tricky team but I am confident you will do a good job with them, Asuma," explained Minato. Asuma simply nodded.
Next up was Kakashi and most Jonin in the room were curious about this one Kakashi was a sensei that never passed a team before but the team he was given now had both Menma and Narumi Namikaze the Hokage's children 2 gems which every Jonin there wished they had on their team.
"Team 7 passed their test… they are a good team, their teamwork is good of course it definitely helps that Narumi and Menma Namikaze are siblings so they naturally have good chemistry between them. Individually Sakura Haruno is definitely the weakest link in the team, she is a fangirl of Menma she basically worships him and for that reason she lacks in basic Ninja skills with the right training i believe i can get her at a good level in Genjutsu but personally i believe that she would be better as a medic nin of the team"
"Menma Namikaze is a lot like Kiba he doesn't strategize much but what makes it worse is that he has a superiority complex, he lacks focus he was complaining about not being in the same team as Satsuki Uchiha and that Naruto Uzumaki was, in fact the mere mention of Naruto's name made him mad i must admit i have to work a lot on him" added Kakashi.
After hearing Kakashi's report a lot of Jonin in the room were questioning if he was talking about the Hokage's son at all. He sounded so different from what they had thought they would hear some of them were even being glad that he wasn't in their team. Minato winced at Kakashi's remarks. He knew that everything he said about Menma was true but at the same time he was disappointed Menma hadn't listen to him he was mad at Naruto despite Minato scolding him for his actions.
"What about Narumi?" asked Minato how calmed down and put on a straight face.
"I believe she is the most talented of the entire team, she is a prodigy. She was the one who thought through my words and discovered the real meaning of the test. Afterwards she convinced Menma and Sakura though they didn't get the bells they put on a good effort i believe that she is the glue of the team kinda like Shikamaru" finished Kakashi.
"I see it seems like you have your work cut out for yourself as well huh. Well make sure they are properly trained and that their bad habits are taken care of" spoke Minato in a monotone voice. "You're the last one now Yamato".
Yamato walked a step forward towards the Hokage desk before gathering his voice.
"Team 6 pass" said Yamato as he took a pause "I believe that my team is the strongest team Konoha has had since the time of the legendary Sanin". His statement grabbed the attention of everyone in the room some Jonin quietly laughed believing Yamato to be lying, but they quickly stopped after seeing that all the powerful Jonin and the Hokage himself listening with utmost interest.
Kakashi in particular was listening very carefully, he knew that Yamato wouldn't say something like this for no reason. "And what makes you say that?" he asked.
"I did the same test as Kakashi and I also told them the same thing as him though when I told them that they didn't even flinch I suspect that they knew the true meaning of the test from the very beginning. I told them the test and in seconds they were gone and they had already laid traps across the forest not in minutes in seconds the made traps for me, they managed to get the bells from me in a coordinated move"
"As for them individually Satsuki Uchiha was a prodigy just like the academy instructors claimed that she was, she uses shurikens especially a massive one that she keeps on her back, she was capable of casting Genjutsu of the highest level her Taijutsu was nothing to scoff at either i say the only thing she lacks right now is her Sharingan evolution though i don't believe i can teach her anything about that"
"Sasuke was also very impressive, im do not believe that he is as big of a prodigy as his sister or brother but i can confidently say that he is going to be every bit as good a ninjas as they are he knew he couldn't use multiple Jutsus so he stored them in a scroll and them used them in the fight his Taijutsu is better than his sister and it looks like he would be good at Kenjutsu so i will try to teach him that"
Yamato's report was leaving everyone in the room speechless if his team were this good. Now imagen what they would be after 6 months of training with him. But Minato was waiting for the other member of the team, the one Yamato hadn't mentioned yet.
"And lastly Naruto" said Yamato as he took a long pause "I will for sure say that they boy is a genius you can tell that simply by seeing the way he carries himself i didn't fight him yet he he defeated me" Yamato's words made everyone in the room confused.
Seeing the suspension in the room Yamato decided to explain "I didn't fight Naruto it seemed like he didn't have a desire for a fight, he took his time analysing me, afterwards he gathered his teammates and formulated a plan that included casting an illusion on Satsuki, he seems to have great mastery over Wind Style, i'll say this bluntly Naruto is a genius, cold, tricky and most likely the only one who could betray Konoha on a whim he is irreplaceable and he knows that" Yamato's voice echoed through the air leaving behind a deadly silence.
