That night the Lockwood mansion was packed up with people, dressed up in their beautiful dresses and good looking suits along with their masks.

Tyler Lockwood sat in his father's study as Carol entered, looking regal in the dress she wore, and she made her way over to her son.

"It's already packed in there." Carol said to Tyler, smiling. "You know, we need to keep that door shut. Your father would be very unhappy if I let guests in here." He stood up from his seat and her smile widened at the sight of her son in his suit. "Oh, look at you! So handsome." She reached over, straightening up his tie.

Tyler smiled back. "Thanks. You look pretty good too mom."

"Oh, a compliment. I think I'll fall over." Carol joked, earning another smile from her.

It wasn't on there long as Tyler gave his mom an apologetic look. "Listen, I'm sorry for being a dick." Carol rose an eyebrow at that, and he quickly corrected himself, remembering who was in the room with him, "A jerk lately. It's just…have you heard from Mason?"

Carol shook her head, frowning. "No, and I don't think we're going to." She told Tyler. "He's coming, he's going, it's just his way. He's the exact opposite of your father."

Tyler turned his head away at the mention of him. "We should have cancelled this party." He grumbled.

"This whole masquerade theme was his idea. I don't know what it has to do with helping the homeless." She chuckled. "But once he made his mind, he could really be a dick." Tyler looked at his mom surprised, but she just smiled. "A jerk. But I loved him, and I know you did too." She gave Tyler a sad look. "It's natural to feel abandoned. I just don't want you to feel alone."

Tyler decided to change the subject, this was supposed to be a fun night, not a night for tough conversations. "Come on put your mask on." He said as she did so. "Let's go out there and pretend to have fun." He started out the door, hearing his mom follow behind him and she said,

"I think I need a cocktail first." Tyler and Carol laughed as they walked out of his father's office.

At the front door, Katherine entered the mansion with Lucy by her side, but they immediately went their separate ways. Her sisters weren't with her as they were looking for Stefan and Damon respectively. She stole a strawberry from a passing waitress, taking a bite of it as she took in the party, and she ended up bumping into Matt, who looked extremely handsome in his suit. Katherine couldn't help but rake her eyes over him in approval as he looked at her, surprised to see her standing there in front of him.

"Elena?"

"Matt? Don't you look dashing." Katherine complimented with a smirk.

"I thought you said you weren't coming."

She twirled a strand of her straightened hair. "I couldn't miss it, and neither could Charlene and Megan.

Matt looked around for them. "Are they here with you?"

"They're around." As simulating as this conversation was, Katherine had to get back to the task at hand. "Okay, here's the deal." She stared into his eyes, her pupils dilating as she compelled Matt, a dazed look coming upon his face. "Do you know what you have to do?"

"I'm gonna get Tyler Lockwood really drunk." Matt said blankly. "I'm going to start a fight with him until he snaps."

"And then?"

"I won't stop until he kills me."

Katherine sighed a bit, staring at him dreamily. "God, you're hot." Then she checked herself. "Now go away."

"Thank you." Matt left her, to go do what he was told.

Jeremy walked upstairs with Bonnie and a bag in his hand. It held all the weapons they needed to kill the sisters. Jeremy gestured Bonnie to an empty room he had found earlier as they went into it.

"I thought this room could work." Jeremy told her.

"It's perfect." As he took a weapon out of the bed, Bonnie sat down in a seat, picking up the grimoire.

Jeremy watched her. "Is that the spell book I read about in my family's old journal?"

She nodded. "It's my ancestors, Emily's. The spell I'm doing is similar to the one that sealed the vampires into the tomb." She opened the grimoire as Jeremy put the bag in the closet.

Then he sat down next to Bonnie, peering at the grimoire as she flipped through the pages. "Can you do all the stuff that's in there?"

"I mean, it takes practice. I've worked on some spells. Spells that only do good." Bonnie answered. "I don't want to know too much." She sighed, looking up at Jeremy with a small smile. "I don't particularly enjoy of this, in case you haven't noticed."

"Yeah, but you're 100% witch, that is so cool."

Bonnie flashed Jeremy a withering look. "It's anything but cool." She denied. "Did your family journals tell you what happened to Emily? Or what about my Grams? It never ends well for someone like me."

Jeremy frowned. "If you feel that way, why help?" He wondered.

"Because I don't want anyone else to get hurt and I don't know how to stay out of it."

Charlene flopped herself down next to Megan after getting her two slices of pizza. She wasn't too hungry, but she still wanted to eat something. Charlene pulled out her phone to look to see if she had any messages. There was none.

It was strange not having anything of importance on her phone. Know that she thought about it she hadn't heard anything from anyone all day.

"Has anyone sent any messages to you?" Charlene asked quietly to Megan. She got a shake of the head in response. "Don't you think that's strange?"

"A little." Megan replied, picking at her pizza. "But I haven't really been paying much attention to my phone."

Charlene nodded, and turned her head to Elena, about to ask her the same question.

But Jenna spoke up from her spot on the couch before the blonde could. "I feel like an invalid." She sighed, placing a hand on her stomach.

"That's because you are an invalid." Elena said, putting two slices of pizza on a plate for her aunt.

"What a mean thing to say Lena." Megan commented in a teasing way, earning an amused eyeroll in response.

Charlene took notice to the fact that Jeremy hadn't come downstairs yet, but honestly, she hadn't seen him since they brought Jenna home from the hospital. "Where's Jeremy?" she asked Jenna. "Why hasn't he come downstairs? Is he not hungry?"

"He already left for the Lockwood party."

Immediately, the blonde was on edge as Elena and Megan shared surprised looks. "Are you serious? He actually went to that. He never goes to parties anymore." Charlene said, eyebrows furrowed together.

"Yeah, but I'm glad. He needs to have more fun. Lose some of that emo thing."

Her aunt wasn't wrong about that, but still. Something was definitely up.

Charlene looked towards the kitchen where Alaric was opening a bottle of wine. He quickly looked away when he saw them staring, making her frown. He must know something. Charlene shared looks with Elena and Megan.

"I'm gonna go get some napkins." She told Jenna, standing up as her sister and best friend did the same.

"We'll help." They said, even though it wasn't needed. Jenna didn't comment on that though as they went into the kitchen, going over to Alaric.

"Alright Alaric, what's going on?" Charlene demanded.

He looked confused, but the way his eyes shifted away said volumes. "What do you mean?"

Charlene rolled her eyes. "Oh, don't give me that, Ric." She gave him a look. "There's something going on that you're not telling us. Don't think I haven't noticed we haven't heard anything from anyone, cause normally my phone won't shut up. It's like they're trying to avoid us, and now I hear that Jeremy's at the Lockwood party. He never goes to those things anymore."

"I don't know what to tell you Charlene." Alaric said. His phone rang, and Megan reached out to the grab the phone, but he quickly grabbed it and put in his pocket.

Megan frowned at his reaction before smiling innocently. "Well then." She dragged out. "If nothing's going on, then I guess there wouldn't be a problem if we went out to join up with everyone." She started to leave, and so was Charlene and Elena, but Alaric stopped them.

"Wait, wait, wait."

Megan smirked. "Knew that would work." She stated smugly. "So, what's up?"

Alaric sighed. "Stefan asked me to keep an eye on you guys, just in case Katherine or her sisters showed up while he was at the party."

"What?!" Megan screeched, making Alaric wince at how loud it was. "Stefan's at the party too?! What the heck? Now I know something's wrong! Stefan wouldn't have gone to that by himself. He goes to those for me."

If the situation was different, Charlene would be laughing hysterically at Megan's reaction.

"Just let this one go, guys." Alaric told them sternly. "Okay?"

Charlene crossed her arms over her chest. Like that was going to happen. She didn't have to look at Megan and Elena to know they were thinking the exact same thing.

Stefan stood by the dance floor, surrounded by people. His eyes searched the crowd for Demetria. She had to be here somewhere. It didn't take too long for him to find her as she was walking down the stairs a long distance away from him. Stefan glanced away when she caught his eye and when he turned around, Demetra appeared in front of him, smiling.

"There you are, handsome." She purred. "I was wondering where you were." She held out her hand, tilting her head to the side. "Can you please do me the honor of dancing with me?"

"No."

Demetria pouted immediately. "So mean. If you're gonna be like that, then I guess I can go find someone to kill instead. There's so many warm and tasty bodies around here." She knew that would get him to change his mind.

It did as Stefan moved to stand beside her, holding out his arm. Demetria giggled as he led her onto the dance. She put her arms around his neck, and he returned it by wrapping his arms around his waist as they slowly danced to the music. Demetria sighed, letting her body press against him. It felt good to be this close to him again.

"It's such a beautiful night, especially with the stars out. So romantic." She sighed dreamily. She glanced up at Stefan, smiling, but it fell when she saw the look on Stefan's face.

"Why the charade?" he asked seriously.

"There is none." Demetria told him. "I'm just happy to be here with you." He didn't believe her if the look on his face was anything to go by and she frowned. Then she shook it off. If that's what he wanted to believe, he could go right ahead. She pulled a smirk as she changed the subject. "How is Aunt Jenna doing by the way? I've been beside myself with worry." She puffed out her bottom lip and Stefan rolled his eyes. "I did hear though that she survived, which surprised me. I really thought she would have killed herself, especially after stabbing herself. How does one do that by the way?" She giggled at her joke. She would have taken the credit for deciding for that to be the way Jenna harmed herself, but that was all Katherine. Her sister always had such wonderful ideas.

"Demetria?"

"Mmm?" Demi returned her attention to the love of her life.

"I don't want anyone to get hurt tonight." Stefan told her.

"Then you know what you have to do to insure that doesn't happen." Demetria said with a shrug. "If that's what you really wanted, then you wouldn't mind at all handing the moonstone to me, so I can give it to Katherine."

Stefan leaned in towards her a bit. "Well, you see, I don't have the moonstone on me. So you and I will have to go get it together."

"I rather us do something else together. Something more fun." Demetria said suggestively. Stefan didn't look amused, and she pouted. "Then how about you just go get it? And I'll try my hardest not to kill anyone in the meantime."

"My way or you don't get it?"

Demetria narrowed her eyes at him. Looks like he wanted to do this the hard way. Aimee Bradley appeared in front of them, and she bit back a smirk.

Perfect.

"Hey Stefan, I can't find Matt." Aimee said to him before she caught the eye of Demetria. Her eyes sparkled, taking in her dress. "Oh my god Megan! You look so pretty. I love that dress. You look groge."

"Aw, well, thank you. I try my best." Demetria said smugly, and Aimee giggled. "I love your necklace."

"Oh, thanks!" Aimee smiled, touching her necklace.

"But it looks crooked. Let me fix it for ya." Demetria went behind her, but instead of fixing the necklace, she snapped her spine, making Aimee gasp out in pain. "Oops, my bad." She pouted, looking up at Stefan's shocked face. "Looks like I paralyzed your spine." Then she did it again and Aimee's body went limp in her grip. "And now you're dead. How did that happen?" She pursed her lips at Stefan, tossing Aimee's dead body in his direction. He caught her before looking up at Demetria. "See, this is what happens when you don't listen. People wind up dead. Now, get me the moonstone before anyone else dies." Giving Stefan one last smirk, she turned on her heel and left Stefan standing, looking around to make sure no one had seen what happened.

On another part of the dance floor, Abigail walked through the crowd, pushing past people as she went. She had spotted Damon and was trying to get to him. He probably wouldn't be happy to see her, but she wanted to see him.

She finally found him and stopped in place as he spotted her. Her breath hitched in her throat at seeing the suit he was wearing. She always loved seeing him in a suit. It made him look even more handsome than he already was. Shaking her head, Abigail made her way over to him and surprisingly he didn't move away. Once she was standing in front of him, she pretended not to be happy to see him.

"Hi, Damon." Abigail greeted.

His lips thinned together as he nodded curtly at her. "Abigail."

Abigail shivered a bit at the sound of her name coming his lips. She held a hand in his direction.

"Come on." She said, "Let's dance. Like old times."

"I rather poke my eye out. Thanks." He went to turn away, but she didn't let him as she went to grab his shoulder. On instinct, he whipped around and took a hold of her hand before she could touch him.

"Don't be like that." Abigail sighed. "I'm not here to cause any trouble."

Damon snorted. "I doubt that."

"I'm not. I really am sorry about what my sisters have done, but I haven't done anything, Damon. You might not believe me, but I've actually been trying to help. Who did you think you that message about the moonstone being the well at the old Lockwood property to Charlene?"

This made him look at her surprised. "What?" Damon remembered Charlene telling him about that but to know it had been Abigail, he was stunned. "Why would you do that?"

"I'm tired of being involved with my sisters and their horrible plans. It's only ever caused me trouble and ruin my relationships." A sad look crossed her face as she stared at Damon. "Especially the one I had with you. I lied that night when I came back. I've always loved you, Damon. That's never changed, and it never will, even though I know you're in love with Charlene. At first I was mad that someone other than me had the chance to have a life with you and I wanted to do anything in my power to make sure you and Charlene never get together, but after thinking about it, I can't blame you for falling in love with someone else. It was my fault for letting Katherine's threats ruin my forever with you, and for that, I'm sorry."

Damon said nothing during her spill. Once he was sure she was finished, he spoke up, looking at her.

"If you really mean all that…then give us the moonstone."

"I'm sorry…I can't do that. Not if I want to live. I don't want to die, Damon, and I will if I stop Katherine from getting the moonstone. I'm sorry." She didn't let him say anything as she turned around and left the dance floor.

Megan pulled up the Gilbert house in her car as she waited for Elena and Charlene to sneak out of the house so they could go to the Lockwood mansion to find out what was really going on. She, of course, tried to text Stefan but she got no response. Whatever they were doing, it was keeping them busy.

Finally, she saw Charlene and Elena making their way over to her car and she unlocked it. They got into the car, Charlene in the passenger seat and Elena in the back seat.

"Does Alaric suspect anything?" Megan asked as she started driving.

"Not at all. They bought us going to bed." Charlene answered, buckling her seat belt.

"One of the good things about being involved with vampires is that we got very good at sneaking out." Megan joked, making her friends chuckle.

"You got a point there." Elena agreed with a grin.

Charlene smiled, and then it fell as she stared out the window. "Whatever it is they're doing, hopefully no one is getting hurt."

Megan nodded solemnly. She hoped so too.

Making it to the mansion rather quickly, thanks to her speeding, Megan and her friends went off searching for someone, anyone to explain what was going on.

"There's Jeremy!" Elena exclaimed, pointing in her and Charlene's brother direction. Nothing else was said as they made their way over to him. He didn't notice them until Charlene grabbed onto his arm.

"Jeremy Gilbert, what the hell is going on?" she demanded as Jeremy turned, shocked to see all of them here. "And don't lie."

He stared at them for a moment before sighing, and he explained everything.

Charlene shook her head in disbelief. "Are you serious? You're gonna try to kill them here! What are you guys thinking?!"

"We saw an opportunity and we knew we had to take it." Jeremy said calmly.

"Okay, stop with the 'we', are you guys crazy?" Elena asked frustrated. "You're gonna get yourselves killed."

"Yeah!" Megan added. "That's the last thing we want to happen. That's why I broke up with Stefan, to prevent anything from happening to anyone of you guys."

Jeremy shook his head. "We know what we're doing."

"If that was true, you wouldn't be doing this." Charlene flashed him a pleading look. "Don't do this. If something happens to any of you, how do you think that's going to make us feel?"

"It's not about you three anymore." Jeremy said after a moment. "They've messed with all of us, they have to be stopped."

Megan didn't know what to say. She definitely hadn't expected they were here to kill the Pierce sisters, but thinking about it, it made sense. What else could it have been? Though she didn't want anyone to be here, the selfish part of her wanted it to happen. If they died, then Megan would be free to be with Stefan. However, even that, wasn't worth the thought of the people she cared about getting hurt.

Abigail trailed begrudgingly behind Katherine and Demetria as they had a hold of each of Caroline's arms, dragging her up the stairs. The young vampire was sobbing as they drug her, not at all being gentle about it. Abigail felt bad watching this. She wished, not for the first time, that she could go against her sisters. If only she wasn't afraid of them to do so.

"Why do you keep dragging me into this!?" Caroline sobbed out. "I don't want any part of this."

Demetria released her arm only to tug roughly on her hair, making her whimper. "Just keep quiet and stop struggling." She threatened. "Before we do something we regret."

They made their way upstairs, and stood in the hallway.

"Which room is it?" Katherine demanded.

"It's that one." Caroline said quietly, nodding her head to the room in front of them.

Katherine and Demetria entered the room, but Abigail hesitated for a moment, then followed her sisters inside, regretting the moment she did so especially when she looked back and found Caroline still standing outside of the room.

"Where's the moonstone?" Demetria asked, looking around to see if she spotted it anywhere.

Behind them, Caroline's sobbing turned into a happy chuckle, making them all turn around to face her. The blonde was smirking.

"I did it!" she exclaimed cheerfully. "I really didn't think I'd be able to fool you guys, but I did it!"

Always quick to anger, Katherine growled and rushed forward, but she was immediately pushed back. Her eyes went wide as she pushed her hands out. Even then she wasn't able to get passed to the door. They were trapped.

"What then…?" Katherine hissed, frustrated.

"Stefan? What the hell are you doing? What's going on?" Demetria demanded, turning around to face her ex-lover. He had a stake in his hand, she noticed, and her eyes narrowed at it.

"Hello girls." Stefan greeted, but it wasn't a happy one.

Caroline smirked as she waved sarcastically at them. "Goodbye girls."

Katherine glared hatefully at the blonde while she left before turning back towards Stefan, finally taking notice to the stake in his grip.

Laughing dryly, she said, "You don't really think you can kill us with that now, do you?"

Stefan stopped to think about it for a moment, but then, he smirked slightly. "No, but he can."

Abigail whirled around as Damon came out of the nearby closet with a weapon in his hand. Using it, a stake shot out, heading in Demetria's direction.

Without hesitation, she rushed forward and took the stake for her sister, the wood piercing through her stomach. Despite hating her sisters for what they did to her, they were still her family, and she would protect them with her life if they needed her. Demetria growled as she saw her sister fall to the floor and ran at Stefan, even though Damon had been the one to hit her. The brunette made it to him, but he managed to get her first, staking her in the arm. While he did this, Damon used the weapon again to shoot at Katherine hitting her in the back.

As this happened, Elena, Charlene, and Megan were all screaming in pain. They were feeling everything the sisters were feeling, blood seeping from the spots where the sisters had gotten staked at.

Jeremy ran from his spot to inform Stefan and Damon about what was happening. He made in time before they attacked Demetria and Abigail once again.

"Stop!" Jeremy shouted, getting their attention. "You're hurting Megan, Charlene, and Elena! Everything you're doing to them is hurting Elena, Megan, and Charlene!"

A surprised look crossed Damon's face as he looked down at Abigail. She gave him an apologetic look. The look of surprise left him, and he glared down at her hatefully. Abigail flinched at the sight as Stefan released Demetria.

Demetria stood up immediately and went to stand next Katherine, who was now sitting on the nearby couch with her legs crossed. She smirked at Damon and Stefan.

"You think you two are the only ones with a witch on your side?" Katherine mocked. "Wrong and something tells me that my witch is better than your witch."

Damon finally released Abigail, and she took the stake from him before joining her sisters. The brothers looked over at Jeremy.

"Jeremy, go check on the girls. Make sure they're okay. Go!" He didn't have to be told twice as he rushed out of the room.

Demetria rolled her eyes. "The way you guys care about those girls is sooo annoying." She grumbled as she took the stake from Abigail and poised it over her other hand, smirking. "So this should be fun." She cut into her arm with the stake, leaving a jagged line in her skin. Her smirk widened, knowing Megan was screaming in pain. What kind of scream would she give if she stabbed her in a more sensitive spot? She smiled sadistically at the thought. "That hurt, but I can do one better." Demetria hovered the stake over her stomach now and was about to stab herself with it, but Stefan stopped, slapping the stake out of her hand before shoving her on the couch next to Katherine. She pouted at him while he glared at her.

Seeing the pause in the fighting, Katherine spoke up. "So, how about that moonstone?" she asked, reminding everyone why they were all here in the first place.

Charlene had never felt this much pain before and that was saying something. Megan and her sister weren't doing any better, especially Elena, being the only human of the group. At least her and Megan could find ways to deal with the pain.

Luckily though, Bonnie was using a spell to try and sooth Elena's pain. It was working as her sister wasn't whimpering or screaming nearly as much.

Charlene tried to help too by holding onto her sister's hand tightly and she had a hold of Megan's well. If this had to happen, at least they had each other to get through it. Just like everything else.

"Are you guys okay?" Jeremy asked concerned, hurrying up to them.

"What about Stefan?" Megan questioned immediately. She was more concerned about her boyfriend than herself.

"And Damon?" Charlene inquired, grimacing in pain as her hand pressed against her stomach where she was injured to try and sooth the pain.

"They're stuck inside with them." Megan glanced over at Charlene, horrified as Jeremy turned his head to look at Bonnie. "You were right; Katherine had a witch link Elena, Charlene, and Megan to her and her sisters."

Hearing this, Bonnie was struck with a realization. "That girl I saw." She remembered. "The one inside! Stay with them, keep pressure on her shoulder." She instructed Jeremy, releasing Elena.

"Where are you going?" Jeremy questioned Bonnie, going over to Elena, and doing what the witch had instructed.

"There's another witch here, I'm gonna find her!" She took over off.

Elena whimpered as Jeremy pushed on her wound a little too hard and Charlene squeezed her hand even tighter. Seeing her reaction, Jeremy slid off his ring and held it out towards her. Elena shook her head instantly.

"No." She denied.

"Take it." Jeremy pressed.

She shook her head again. "No Jeremy…"

"Elena, listen to me, you need this more than I do." He stroked her hair back with his free hand.

"No Jeremy." Elena said, this time a little more snappishly. "What I need is for you to be safe."

Charlene would have tried to convince her to take it but Elena's stubbornness wouldn't allow it and because she would have told Jeremy the same thing if she was in Elena's position.

"You got nothing to worry about. Everything's going to work out in the end." Megan tried to sound positive about the situation, and Charlene really hoped she was right.

Back in the room, Katherine was lazily sitting on the couch with Abigail while Demetria stayed standing up.

"This is nice." Demetria chipped brightly, even though Damon and Stefan would beg to differ. "The five of us all together again. It's just like the good ole days."

"With the man who loved Abigail too much, and the man that didn't love Demetria enough." Katherine mocked.

Damon's eyes narrowed. "And the evil sluts who only loved themselves."

Abigail would have opened her mouth to deny this, but it definitely had looked that way back them, so she kept it shut. She decided to not say much during all of this. She didn't want give Damon more of reason to hate her.

Katherine stared at him. "What about happened to you, Damon? You used to be so sweet and polite."

Damon gave her a mocking smirk back. "Oh that Damon died a long time ago."

"Good. He was a bore. I never did get what made Abigail fall in love with you in the first place. It made no sense to me." Katherine said, glancing over her blonde sister. "Definitely should have went with George Lockwood."

Abigail rolled her eyes but didn't say anything as Stefan shook his head, looking at Damon and Katherine.

"Oh, why don't you two stop antagonizing each other?" He suggested.

Katherine crossed her arms. "Where's the moonstone?"

"What do you want with it?" Stefan countered.

Before she could not answer, Demetria piped up, "I'm curious about something…do you think Charlene and Megan enjoy you two worshiping them? They're not that great."

"That sounds a little desperate, Demetria." Stefan pointed out, but she just shrugged in response. "Don't you think that we can see right through you?"

"You don't need to. I'm more than willing to take my clothes off, as you well know, Stef." Demetria commented with a smirk

He shook his head at her. "Oh, stop it."

"Nah." She waved him off. "I'm good."

Stefan frowned before changing the subject. "You know this whole Mason thing has me a bit confused." He said, "Why a werewolf? The moonstone can break a curse that would help them destroy all vampires so what's in it for you?"

"Sorry about your pet wolf." Damon said offhandedly to Abigail as she met his eyes. "Probably should have kept him on a tighter lease."

"I didn't care about him enough to do that." Abigail finally spoke in the soft voice she had used earlier with him on the dance floor. She thought maybe her tone of voice would make that look on his face disappeared.

But it remained on his face.

Katherine rolled her eyes at Damon's comment as she stood up from the couch and strided over to the brothers. "It doesn't matter anyway." She told him. "He's not the only werewolf in town."

The scene switched over to Tyler, still in his father's office with Matt and Sarah. Aimee had took off earlier and hadn't returned yet.

Sarah got a refill from Matt and went to stand next to Tyler again, taking a sip of her drink. "So, what happened to Aimee?"

Matt shrugged, taking a drink himself from the bottle. "I don't know, she disappeared."

"She's probably drunk somewhere." Tyler suggested, making Sarah giggle as she sat down.

"Like me." Matt smirked as he spilled some of his drink on the floor, on purpose.

Tyler straightened up immediately. "Whoa, don't do that."

Matt's smirk widened. "What man? It's a party." He shrugged and then he paused, noticing a picture on the desk of a smiling Mr. and Mrs. Lockwood and his smirk widened even more. "Right dad?" He mocked. "You know, looks like your dad wants a drink." He picked up the picture and poured alcohol on it, still smirking as he did so.

Tyler hopped up from his seat. "Hey, that's not cool." He glared at his friend. "What's wrong with you?" He demanded.

Matt rolled his eyes at Tyler's reaction. "Come on, the guy was a dick."

Sarah spoke up, looking between the two, eyebrows raised in surprise. "Come on, you're being mean. His dad's dead."

Tyler quickly went up to Matt. "Give me the picture!" He tried to swipe it away from his friend, but the blonde pulled it away from his grasp.

"Remember how your dad used to slap you away." Matt chuckled as he smacked Tyler in the face with his free hand.

Tyler recoiled in shock. "Are you kidding?"

Matt had a look on his face that suggested he didn't see anything wrong with what he did. "I'm just having fun." He said innocently.

"Put the picture down, man."

Instead of doing that, Matt smashed the picture frame on the side of the desk, hard enough for it to smash to pieces.

"Okay, you need to calm your drunk ass down right now!" Tyler exclaimed, trying to grab at him. He had no idea why Matt was acting this way.

"Do something about it!" Matt threatened loudly, shoving Tyler away from him.

In response, the could be werewolf shook his head as he held his hands up in clear surrender. "I'm not going to fight you."

Of course, Matt's reaction was to rush at Tyler and grab him only to throw him down to the floor rather hard. Then he jumped onto of his friend's body and punched him in the face. Tyler managed to shove Matt off of him only to return to favor. Caroline, who had overheard the fight, came rushing into the room.

"What's going on?! Stop!" She put herself in the middle of them and tried to push them away from each other with her hands. When she saw that wasn't working, she shoved Matt to the ground, but he didn't stay down there for long, immediately jumping up to his feet. He charged at Tyler again, but she stopped him, keeping her hand pressed to his chest.

Matt still tried to get to Tyler, crying out, "I can't! Let me go, I have to finish!"

Wide eyed, Tyler demanded, "What the hell is wrong with you?"

"Let me go!"

Caroline looked at him, staring in his eyes. Realizing he was being compelled, she used her elbow to hit him hard in the face, knocking him backwards and onto the floor. Caroline still went over to check on Matt, rushing over to him.

"Matt?"

Tyler looked at Caroline in disbelief. "How did you…"

The blonde didn't answer as she looked away, spotting Sarah rushing towards Tyler with a knife. "Tyler, look out!" she shouted.

He whirled around, but it was too late as she had stabbed him in the chest with it. In self-defense, he shoved her away a little too hard. Sarah's head hit the side of the desk with a sickening crack, and she fell to the floor. Unmoving.

Tyler took a glance at his wound before rushing over to Sarah, falling to the ground beside her. "No, no, no!" he cried hysterically. "Come on, wake up! Sarah, open your eyes, wake up! This can't happen, oh no, this can't happen." He tried to shake her away now as he continued freaking out. "Sarah! Sarah, get up! Sarah! Open your eyes!" Nothing was working and he left her, hands raking through his hair as he paced the floor. "This can't be happening! Not like this!"

Caroline slowly went over to Sarah and took the place where Tyler had been at, checking the girl's pulse with two fingers. However, there was none, causing the blonde to close eyes sadly. Suddenly, an intense pain hit Tyler and he grabbed at his head, screaming at the pain.

"Tyler?" Caroline slowly stood up to face him. "Tyler?! What's happening?"

The pain had been so horrible Tyler was curled up on the ground, still gripping at his head. "Get away!"

"What's happening?!" Caroline demanded, starting to freak out herself. He lifted his head, and her eyes went wide at the sight of Tyler's amber eyes. Oh no.

He had broke his werewolf curse.

In the room again, Damon was pacing the floor. "Dammit!" He cursed frustrated. "Where is that witch?"

"Oh, don't worry, she'll be here. Lucy is good like that." Demetria said before she clasped her hands together. "Oh I know! We could play a game to pass the time. I've always wanted to try charades."

"You bargained the moonstone." Stefan mumbled, the words catching Damon's attention.

"What are you mumbling about over there?" he asked his brother.

Stefan was staring at Katherine. "When you struck a deal with George Lockwood, to help fake you and your sister's deaths, you told me you gave George something that he needed. It was the moonstone, wasn't it?"

"Good for you, Stefan." Katherine clapped her hands mockingly. "Two plus two…and it would have worked except people found out we weren't in the tomb." She looked at Damon with a frown. "Thanks to you, by the way. Have I mentioned how inconvenient your obsession with Abigail has been?"

"You and me both honey." Damon responded, taking a drink of his scotch. Despite what the previous love of his life had said on the dance floor, he didn't believe a word she said. Like he said, if she had meant it, then she would have helped them get the moonstone.

Abigail flinched at his words.

"Why do you need it back?" Stefan questioned.

Katherine didn't answer, not that she could as Demetria came up to Stefan and stood in front of him only to run a hand down his chest.

"Again, I just can't help myself from mentioning the fact of how much I love you in a suit." Demetria purred flirtingly. Only way to maybe distract Stefan from asking more question.

It didn't work as he went around Demetria to stand in front of Katherine. Demetria pouted at him even though he didn't see it.

"Where were you doing with it in the first place?" Stefan asked.

Damon rolled his eyes. "You're wasting your breath."

He still continued to line of questioning, "Unless it wasn't yours to begin with? In 1864, you three faked your own death. Who were you running from?"

Demetria decided to try again. "I remember seeing you at a Bon Jovi concert." She stated, making Stefan turn around to look at her. "It was the one at Chicago in 1987. You were with that little bitch Lexi." Seeing the surprised look on Stefan's look, she smiled at him fondly. "No need to be that surprised, Stefan. I loved you too much not to be keeping tabs on you, unlike Abigail. I remember it as if it was yesterday. You were in the front row, dancing all night, looking the happiest I've ever seen you. I couldn't help but stare at you…wishing I was there with you." Demetria had been, but she was too loyal to Katherine to follow what her heart wanted, and that was Stefan.

"What were you and your sisters running from?" Stefan asked again, instead of commenting on what Demetria said.

Just like Katherine, she didn't answer Stefan's question. Instead, she mouthed the words I love you and he said nothing, just staring at her.

With Bonnie, she was pushing past through people inside at the party, looking around for the witch she had seen. Where could she be at? Bonnie followed her instincts and finally found her, but she quickly disappeared. She went after her into the dining room area.

Lucy didn't run away this time as she turned around to face Bonnie, arms crossed. "You looking for me?"

Bonnie's eyes narrowed at her. "Who are you?"

"Lucy."

"What are you doing here?" Bonnie demanded.

Lucy chuckled. "I should have known I'd run into a Bennett."

Bonnie looked at her, surprised. "How do you know me?"

"You figure it out." Lucy rolled her eyes. "Look, I have no interest in fighting you."

"Then stop the spell you put on my friends."

"Give Katherine the moonstone and I will."

Bonnie looked at her in disbelief. "Why are you helping Katherine? Do you know what she is?"

Lucy ignored her questions. "Tell your friends to hand over the moonstone and all will be groovy." She gave her a fake smile and went to leave.

"You're not leaving this room until you stop the spell!"

Lucy groaned a little in frustration. "Look, I don't want to hurt you."

"And I don't want to hurt you."

The other witch sighed, unfolding her arms. "Look, I don't have a choice." She said, "The bitch saved my life and I owe her. I have to pay up." Bonnie grabbed her wrist to stop her from leaving and she gasped, sensing something immediately. "You have the moonstone. I can sense it on you." She took a hold of her forearms, turning around to face her. Instantly, the room shook around them like a miny earthquake, and the lights flickered as their powers connected with one another. Lucy stared into Bonnie's eyes. "Do you feel that? You can trust me. You can trust me." She soothed. "Give it to me, it's okay…"

Back with the Pierce sisters and the Salvatore brothers, Damon poured himself another drink of scotch since he finished his other one. He needed another drink to get through the rest of this horrible night. Slowly, Abigail went up to him, arms behind her back.

"Mind pouring me one?" she asked quietly. "I need one."

"Right away, Miss Abigail." Damon said, mimicking the voice of a servant boy as he poured her drink and handed it to her.

Abigail took it from him, her fingers brushing against his own. "You don't have to do that." She told him softly. "You don't have to act like you were in 1864. I like the way you are now. Flaws and all."

Damon said nothing and she sighed. She turned around, which wasn't a very good idea, as he grabbed her only to shove her against the nearby wall. Abigail gasped in surprise especially when he pulled out a stake and was about to stab her with it. She stared at him, a little frightened. Was he really going to kill her? It never came though as Stefan stopped him immediately.

"No, no! Damon, don't!"

"Don't do this, Damon. You'll hurt Charlene and I know you don't want that." Abigail pleaded with him, tears in her eyes.

The mention of Charlene relaxed him somewhat, enough to lower the stake. He still held her against the wall though as he leaned in, glaring at her.

"The second the spell is lifted, I'm gonna drive a stake through your heart." Damon threatened and her eyes welled up with more tears, which he noticed but didn't comment on. He stepped back from her just as Lucy appeared, holding on the moonstone.

"Katherine, the spell on this room has been broken, you and your sisters are free to leave." Lucy informed.

The leader of the group groaned in relief. "Thank God." She went up to Lucy with Demetria behind her.

"I thought we'd never get out of here." Demetria said. "Thanks Lucy. Come along Abigail."

The blonde glanced at Damon even though he wasn't looking at her. This was her chance to change her mind and stay with the people she really wanted to stay again, but her loyalty to her sisters won out in the end. So, she listened to Demetria.

"When I hand this over, my debt to you is over." Lucy told Katherine.

"Done." She reached out for the moonstone.

Lucky jerked it back though, looking at Katherine seriously. "I owe you nothing."

"I said done." Katherine snapped. "Give it."

"I wouldn't do that." Damon warned Lucy, eyes flashing dangerously.

Lucy ignored him as she handed Katherine the moonstone. As soon as the stone touched her hand, the vampire couldn't breathe, grasping at her throat.

Abigail and Demetria had the exact same reaction, and they were the first ones to crumble to the ground, unconscious. Katherine was still okay, but she was slowly losing air.

Stefan and Damon looked shocked as Lucy pursed her lips at Katherine, crossing her arms.

"You should have told me another witch was involved." She said, glaring at her. "She's a Bennett witch, Katherine, but I'm sure you knew that. Oh, and I should have been informed that the girl I linked with Demetria was a witch too and related to said Bennett witch."

"Wait, what about the girls? Megan?" Stefan asked, freaking out a bit at the sight of Demetria and Abigail on the ground.

Lucy turned to look at him. "They're fine. The spell is broken. They'll heal quickly. Bonnie is with them." Katherine was finally on the ground, passed out, and she glanced down at her before returning her gaze to the Salvatore brothers. "I apologize for my involvement." With that, she turned on her heel and walked away.

Outside, Megan stood on a tall hill, looking out towards lake near the property. She wasn't in pain anymore; thanks to the spell that took away her pain. Charlene and Elena had left her by herself, knowing that Stefan would probably be along to check up on her. And they were right as she heard Stefan's voice from behind her and she turned around to face him.

"Stefan, you're okay." Megan breathed in relief, fighting against the urge to run up to him and hug him.

He went up to her, a look of concern on his face. "Yeah I'm okay, but what about you?"

Megan smiled at his concern. "I'm getting better. The pain is completely gone."

"What about Charlene and Elena?"

"They're doing good too, at least Charlene is. Elena's still hurting."

Stefan nodded. "She should probably go see a doctor." He eyed her down with a frown. "You might want to think about that too, even if you are feeling better. Just so they can check your wounds."

Megan would have brushed him off and said she didn't need to go to the doctor as she was doing okay, but she didn't as she nodded in agreement. "I will." She smiled. "So I heard from Bonnie about the sisters. Are they really gone?" She asked, looking up at him hopefully.

"Yeah, I was so worried about you." Stefan went forward and pulled her into a hug. She immediately gripped him back, burying her face into his chest, unable to help the happiness bubbling inside of her. They could finally be together again.

Charlene walked out with Elena, and she was on the phone with Megan, who was telling her she was going home with Stefan as they were back together again. She was happy for her best friend, glad that Megan was back with the love of her life. Luckily, there was spare key underneath Megan's car so they could use it to get home.

"Okay, we'll see you tomorrow." Charlene said to Megan before ending the phone call and putting her phone back in her pocket.

"Yeah Jeremy, we're using Megan's car to get home." Elena said into her own phone. "Tell Bonnie whatever she did, I'm starting to feel better. Yeah, you can drive her home. I'm with Charlene and I don't know about her, but I'm going straight to bed. Okay." She hung up her phone and went to stand close to Charlene, leaning against the blonde.

She put an arm around her sister and let her snuggle into her side. "Are you sure you're feeling better?" she asked, rubbing Elena's shoulder with her hand. "We could go to urgent care and get you checked to just make sure."

Elena shook her head. "I'm fine…I really just want to go to bed."

"Okay. If you're sure." Charlene was about to say something but all of the sudden, Elena was ripped out of her grasp. She whirled around to find a masked man had a hold of her, hand over her mouth. "What the hell?!" She growled. Oh hell no! Anger hit and her face changed as she ran towards the man with her vampire speed.

With the mask on, she couldn't see the shocked look on his face, not expecting this, but he was still prepared anyway. He sprayed her with what looked to be as mase spray. It wasn't as it was vervain. As soon as it hit her, Charlene screamed in pain, grasping at her face. Despite this, she still tried to get her sister free from the man. In the end though, he knocked her out and she knew no more.
