Charlene finally regained consciousness and groaned as she tried to sit up, but her head hit something, making her wince. Opening her eyes, she looked around, noticing she was in the truck of some of vehicle. Obviously the man from last night had kidnapped her and Elena, who she noticed was in the trunk with her after looking, but her sister was still knocked out cold. That was one of the good things about being a vampire, the fact that when getting knocked out, you didn't stay that way for long. Where were they even going? Eventually, the vehicle came to a stop, and her body stiffened, knowing any second the trunk would be open. The thought came to mind whenever it was opened she would take off running, but after thinking about it, whoever had captured them was dangerous and the last thing she wanted was for Elena to hurt, even more than she already was.

So, when the trunk finally opened, Charlene stayed still as she stared at the clearly human man in front of her. He was clearly human because he didn't smell like a vampire. He must have been compelled to capture them. The man drugged her out of the car and Charlene didn't fight against him.

"Don't move." He threatened. "Or I'll hurt her." Her meaning Elena.

Charlene glared at the man, but said nothing as she stayed right there while the man took Elena out of the trunk and headed over to the nearby SUV. She followed behind him, tensely, noticing the man in the SUV. He had dark glasses and seemed to be smirking as he met Charlene's glare. She glared at him in response.

The other man put Elena in the trunk of the SUV, then grabbed onto Charlene's arm roughly, shoving her in there too. They were locked inside, and she tried to break free once she was, but since she was still kind of weak because of what happened last night, her strength wasn't nearly up to par as it should have been, so it was no use. Charlene slumped back down and looked at Elena, growing concerned. Why had they been kidnapped? Whatever the reason, Charlene definitely hadn't been prepared for the answer.

Caroline stood in her room, getting ready for school. Damon was in the room with her, unfortunately as he wanted information about what happened with Tyler during the masquerade ball.

"So Sarah attacks Tyler and he pushed her away and she tripped, and she fell, and she hit her head." Caroline explained, standing in front of her vanity.

"Does Matt remember anything?" Damon wondered out loud.

"Mmm…" Caroline hummed in thought as she put her mascara in her make up bag before heading over to her bed. "He thinks he blacked out, but I think they were both compelled by Katherine. That's why I covered for Tyler and said it was an accident."

"Yeah, I don't understand that. The guy's a tool."

"Well duh." Caroline rolled her eyes as she bent down to slid her boots on, her cleavage showing in the process. Damon, of course, couldn't help but check that out, but the blonde didn't notice, or at least maybe she pretended to. "Tyler getting blamed for Sarah's death just opens up questions that he can't answer, and do you really think it's a good idea for him to tell his mom that he's a werewolf?"

"Well no."

"And that leads straight to Vampire Boulevard! I thought I was thinking fast on my feet." Caroline finished with her shoes and grabbed her scarf, putting it around her neck before going back over to her vanity to check her make up.

"Where's your mom?"

"Leading the search party for Aimee Bradley. They haven't found her body yet."

Damon smirked. "Oh teens today and their underage drinking." Caroline couldn't help herself from rolling her eyes at the comment. "Tragic…wait, did you Tyler's eyes turn yellow?"

Caroline put lotions on her hand and rubbed her hands together as she answered Damon's question, a thoughtful look on her face, "They were more gold with amber highlights."

"Oh." Damon said blankly.

Caroline looked over at him, grabbing her phone. "Can he turn into a wolf now?" she asked, worriedly.

"Only on a full moon, but now he has increased strength and who knows what else." It was a little frustrating not knowing anything about werewolves especially when Damon was used to knowing everything. "I wonder how much Mason has told him. Does he know about us?" That would be a very bad thing if he did, but Caroline wasn't paying attention anymore as she was busy texting on her phone, and Damon rolled his eyes. "Hey!" This got Caroline's attention again and she looked at him as he narrowed his eyes at her. "How much did you tell him?"

"Nothing, really." Caroline answered, actually sounding a bit nervous now. "I don't think he knows much of anything." She shoved her school books in her bag and grabbed her bag, putting the strap over her shoulder. "He seemed really freaked out and honestly, I felt kind of bad for him." She admitted to Damon as she brushed by him and headed over to the front door.

He looked back at Caroline from her doorway. "He's got to something."

"Alright, I'll ask him." She said, and she jumped when Damon appeared before her, grabbing her arm, and yanking her forward. Fear spiked through her for a moment.

"No, you won't Caroline!" he growled at her. "He cannot know about us. A bite from a werewolf can kill a vampire, so don't be his friend! Do you understand me?"

"I understand." Caroline said quietly, looking at him. She paused for a moment. "I'm late for school."

Damon released her, patting her on the shoulder. "Right." He let her start her way over to the door and he followed her. "If you want to drop the hint to your mom that Aimee is at the bottom of a ravine with a cracked spine. Might save your mom some time." He opened the door for Caroline, and she walked out, and he was right behind her, closing the door.

Megan walked through the hallway with Stefan by her side, holding on tightly to his hand, not wanting to let go as if she was afraid he would disappear. She was the same way last night when she spent the night over at Stefan's. She stayed close to him and snuggled with him all night long, even if she had to use the restroom. The time apart had been torture, so she was happy to be back in Stefan's arms. He didn't seem to mind thankfully as he acted the same way. He stayed as close to her as he could. The only time they parted was to go to the classes they didn't share.

She snuggled into his side with a dreamy look and smile on her face, happy to be here with him, as they walked over to Stefan's locker. Megan had to let him go so he could open his locker but once she did, she took a hold of his hand again. As soon he had it open, Jeremy came up to the two of them, looking worried. Seeing it made her tense up.

"What's wrong?" Megan asked immediately, letting the concern show in her voice.

"Have you guys seen Charlie and Elena?"

Megan shook her head. "No, I talked to her last night and she and Elena were heading back home. I haven't heard or seen them since then."

Jeremy frowned. "Did they stay the night over at the boarding house?"

"No…they didn't…" Megan responded quietly, sharing a worried look with Stefan as her grip on his hand tightened.

"Cause both of their beds hadn't been slept in and Mrs. Lockwood said your car was in the driveway. Where are they then?"

What if they had been kidnapped? It wouldn't have been the first time, at least not for Elena. If they had though, where could have they been taken and who could have taken them?

Charlene glared at the man's backside as she followed him into a large house in the middle of nowhere. He had a hold of Elena, carrying her bridal style, and she had to fight the urge to rip her sister out of his grip, but knew that wouldn't go over well. Unlike her, Elena had been tied up by her hands and feet. She guessed he knew she wouldn't do anything to bring harm upon her sister so that was the reason why she wasn't tied up.

The man sat Elena down on the couch as she finally started waking up. Charlene was immediately at her side, checking her over to make sure she was alright. Once she was sure that everything was a-okay, she turned her head towards to man with a glare on her face.

"What do you want with us, and where did you take us?" Charlene demanded. "Just let us go, please. My sister is hurt."

The man just smirked. "I know. I just want a taste." His face vamped out, and she hissed at him, her own face doing the same.

"Don't you fucking dare!"

"Trevor!" A female's voice with a British accent shouted, and the man named Trevor's face went back to normal. "Control yourself."

"Buzzkill." He mumbled before he left.

Charlene's own face went back to normal too, relived he was gone as she helped Elena into a sitting position. She put an around her sister and tightened her grip on Elena's shoulders as she turned her head to face the newcomer. Her eyes met the gaze of a woman with short hair and brown eyes. She looked to be around her late or early twenties, and the way she looked reminded Charlene of Alice Cullen from the Twilight series, of course if Alice had a British accent.

"What do you want with us?" Elena asked weakly.

The woman stared, looking between her and Charlene. "Oh my god, you look just like them." She sniffed the air only to immediately look right at Charlene. "You're a vampire?" She awed.

Charlene's glare only deepened. "No, shit Sherlock." She grumbled, annoyed.

It was then the woman's face turned annoyed as her lips pressed together in a thin line. "I told Trevor to only bring the human doppelgangers." She mumbled, irritated.

"Well, sorry to disappointment you, but there's only actually one human doppelganger and that's my sister, Elena. Megan's a witch." Charlene said, not sure why she was pointing this out. "And I don't care if we look like them, we're not them. My name is Charlene Gilbert. I wish people would get that through their thick sculls that we are not Abigail and Katherine."

The woman looked like she didn't know what to say. Elena stood up from the couch, stepping towards her.

"Please, whatever you…" her sister tried to protest, but the woman interrupted, glaring at her.

"Shut up!"

Even though she had stuck up with herself, Charlene wanted Elena to be careful to not provoke the woman. "Lena, just sit down." The blonde tried to tell her.

Elena ignored her. "But I'm not Katherine. My name is Elena Gilbert; you don't have to do this."

"I know who you are, I said to be quiet."

"What do you want?"

Obviously having enough of the questions, the woman slapped Elena right in the face hard, knocking her out and causing her to fall onto the couch.

"I want you to be quiet."

Charlene stood up to her feet instantly and would have attacked her for that, but the woman stopped her with the glare on her face, signally not to mess with her. She glared right back as she slowly sat back down on the couch.

Eventually, Elena woke up, rubbing her face where the woman had slapped her at. "What happened?" she asked groggily.

"That woman knocked you out." Charlene explained, looking closely at her sister's face. Luckily, there was no lasting mark.

"Oh right…what do they want with us?" Elena asked.

"She never said." Charlene looked at the spot where the woman once was. "She wouldn't answer any of my questions, but I'm guessing it has something to do with us being Abigail and Katherine's doppelgangers." Elena opened her mouth to say something, but she stopped her, putting a finger to her mouth. "Shh. I can hear them talking upstairs." She got off the couch and held out her towards Elena. "Come on, let's go find them and try to get some answers."

Her sister nodded in agreement as she took a hold of her hand and Charlene led her upstairs, the woman and Trevor's voices getting louder as they went up the steps.

"So, you called him?"

"No, I called one of his contacts. You know this works."

"Did you or did you not get the message to Elijah?"

Elijah? Was that who they had kidnapped them for? Charlene kept her listening ears open as the woman answered him.

"They say he got it."

"Wonderful and what?"

Charlene and Elena made it to the outside of the room where they were talking. The blonde looked at them from around the corner.

The woman sighed. "So that's it, Trevor." She told him. "He either got it or he didn't."

Trevor started frantically pacing the floor, fingers gripping his hair. "Look, it's not too late." He said, freaking out. "We can leave them here. We don't have to go through with this."

"I'm sick of running!"

"Yeah? Well, running keeps us from dying."

"Look, Elijah is old school. If he accepts our deal, we're free."

Charlene suddenly heard a creaking noise from behind and she turned her head to look at Elena, who had made it and looked sheepish now.

"Sorry." She whispered, knowing it had caught their attention.

It did, and the woman whipped around to look at them. "You two!" she snapped as Charlene stepped into the room with Elena right behind her. "There's nothing around here for miles. If you think you're getting out this house, you're tragically wrong. Understand?"

Charlene rolled her eyes and waved the woman off. "Whatever." She wasn't scared of her, and the woman gaped at her. "

"Who's Elijah?" Elena wondered out loud, looking at the woman.

She snapped out of her stupor at the question, glancing over at Elena. "He's your worse nightmare."

"That doesn't exactly answer the question." Charlene pointed out, but the woman ignored her and walked out the room. "Rude." She muttered.

Megan stood next to her boyfriend as he talked to Bonnie about opening the tomb to talk to the Pierce sisters about what they meant when they told Damon her, Elena, and Charlene were in danger. Honestly, she was on Damon's side. It probably wasn't a good idea to ask them of all people. They were going to tell them the truth, but she guessed it wouldn't hurt to try. However, it looked like Bonnie wasn't having any of it.

"I can't undo the spell, Stefan." Her sister told him. "Even if I wanted to. It took both me and my Grams to undo it the first time."

"Technically I helped too." Megan pointed out. "You're not the only witch."

"Right, sorry." Bonnie apologized to her.

"But I can open the door, right? I can talk to them."

"Yeah, but Damon's right." Bonnie said, looking like it was difficult to say those words. Megan giggled to herself. "They're not going to tell you anything, not without something in return."

"Trust me, I get it." Megan told her sister. "But this is Charlene and Elena we're talking about. We can't just sit around and do nothing. There has to be another way to find them, right? Something in the grimoire?"

Bonnie said nothing for a moment before her eyes brightened. "You're right, Megan. There is another way."

Megan smiled smugly. "See I can be right, sometimes."

Moments later, Megan stood with Bonnie and Jeremy in Alaric's classroom. They were standing in front of a desk that had a map and two candles on it.

There was a locator spell in the grimoire, and Jeremy had to be there for it to work. Megan could have been used for it too as Charlene was gone too and they were related, but they were sure both of the girls were together, so it didn't matter whose blood had to be used.

"How does this work?" Jeremy questioned.

"I'll use your blood to draw energy for the tracking spell." Bonnie explained. "Since you are related to Elena, it'll make the connection stronger. Megan's blood could have been used too since she's related to Charlene, but we figured that Elena and Charlene are together, so it doesn't really matter whose blood we use."

"This will definitely work." Megan reassured, seeing the look on Jeremy's face. "We're going to find them."

The door of the classroom opened up, and Stefan came into the room, going over to stand next to Megan. "Alright, Alaric said we have to clear out of here within ten minutes." He said, "I've got weapons, he stocked me up."

Bonnie nodded, and turned to Jeremy. "Are you ready?" Getting a nod from him, she pulled out a knife and cut through his hand. The blood dripped onto the map.

From the corner of her eye, Megan noticed her boyfriend's reaction to see it and she reached for his hand, curling their fingers together as she squeezed his hand in reassurance. He smiled at her in response and returned the squeeze.

Bonnie closed her eyes to concentrate on the spell. The blood drops on the map merged together and went in the direction where Charlene and Elena were at. It stopped, and Bonnie opened her eyes, pointing at the map.

"There. Elena and Charlene are there."

"That's 300 miles away." Jeremy pointed out.

Stefan shook his head. "No, Bonnie, we need a more exact location."

She shrugged. "That's as close as I can get."

"We can map it." Jeremy suggested. "Aerial view will show us what's around there, help us narrow down the area."

Stefan nodded and headed towards the door, still holding onto Megan's hand, and dragging her along with him. Surprisingly, he didn't say anything about her not going with him. Probably knew she would fight against him about it and decided not to argue about it. And he was right. She would have argued with him.

"Perfect." Stefan told Jeremy. "Call me with whatever you find."

"No, no, I'm coming with you guys!" Jeremy protested.

"No Jeremy, you're not." Stefan said sternly.

He shook his head. "No, I'm not gonna just sit here! What if they're hurt, okay? Or worse? What if they're…"

Megan cut him off. "You have nothing to worry about, Jer. Like I said we're going to find them. It's better for you and Bonnie to go back over to the house and just wait and we're let you know when we find them, and we will. I mean, when haven't we?" She joked at the end, wanting to get a smile out of him and it worked, but it faded after a moment.

"Well, you guys can't do it alone."

Damon entered the room at those words. "They're not." He informed. "Let's go."

"You're coming with us?"

"It's Charlene."

"And Elena." Megan added as they headed out the door. Even though, she knew he cared more about Charlene. He loved her, so of course he was going to help them find her. When Stefan had told her that Damon hadn't initially wanted to help, she knew that wouldn't last long and she couldn't help but smile to herself, knowing how right she had been.
