Chapter 15

Third Round

Freya got up after the announcement to go wait in the waiting room. Izuku joined their friends.

"Freya looks worried." Jiro said.

"I wouldn't blame her. She's up against Bakugo." Mineta said.

"The two trained together growing up. This be the first time fighting each other on live TV. He isn't going to go easy on her. Is he, Deku?" Kaminari asked, looking at Izuku.

"No. He won't. Both won't hold back but they won't help but show off. Kacchan is aiming for the top. Freya. I don't think she cares if she wins or looses. She doesn't aim for the top like Todoroki and Kacchan. I'm nervous of this fight after seeing him go against Kirishima. But I know he won't hurt Freya. He'll either push her out of bounds or make her surrender." Izuku said.

"I wonder if he'll blow her clothes off." Mineta said.

"You pervert!" Jiro said. Shoji and Ojiro sighed. The pervert will never learn.

Freya sat at the table in the waiting room with her head on her arms. She had her eyes closed. She was nervous, but not scared. Freya knew Bakugo's fighting style and stuff. She never imagined she had to duel him on live TV. The door opened and she looked up to see Kirishima standing there.

"You alright?" Freya asked.

"I'm fine. Though your boyfriend hits hard." Kirishima said. Freya's face burned with embarrassment.

"He's not my boyfriend." Freya said.

"You ready for the fight?" Kirishima asked.

"Ready as I'll ever be." Freya said.

"You'll do fine, Shorty. You got this." Kirishima said. Freya smiled.

"Thank you, Kiri." Freya said.

"Iida has been immobilized." Freya and Kirishima stop talking. "Todoroki advances!"

"Todoroki moves on to the finals without even using his flames again!" Present Mic said. Freya stood up.

"Well. Looks like it's time." Freya said. Kirishima watched his friend leave the room. Kirishima ran to the stands to watch his friends fight, not wanting to miss it.

Freya and Bakugo stood facing each other on the stage.

"Now it's time for Bakugo vs.. Freya. These two grew up together and are good friends. This fight should be interesting." Present Mic said. Aizawa looked at his daughter. "I'm nervous on this fight with how vicious Bakugo can be. Let's see how this goes."

"Ready to give up?" Bakugo said with a smirk.

"Ready?" Present Mic asked

"Not a chance." Freya said.

"This fight is gonna be interesting." Tsu said as Kirishima made it to his seat next to Kaminari.

"How she doing?" Uraraka asked, looking at Kirishima.

"Nervous but she'll fine." Kirishima said.

"BEGIN!" Present Mic yelled. Bakugo uses an explosion to send him flying in the air. Freya's hands glowed as he came down on her. A forcefield came up and Bakugo's explosion hit it. Bakugo moved behind her and Freya turned and kicked at Bakugo. Bakugo blocked the kick with his arm. Freya saw his arm coming and flipped back as he caused another explosion. Freya landed and quickly put up another forcefield from an explosion.

"Woah." Jiro said.

"He's not giving her a break that's for sure." Ojiro said as Bakugo continued hitting the forcefield with one explosion after another.

"You should of gave up." Bakugo said as he sped up the explosions. Freya kept the forcefield up. "Remember. I know your weakness!" Freya had lost count as the explosions got faster. It takes 10 hits before someone can break through it. The forcefield shatters.

"Shit." Freya said as smoke surrounded her, and she couldn't see Bakugo. Bakugo burst out from the smoke with his arm back. Bakugo tackled her to the ground as she turned to face him, before she could use her father's quirk. Freya grunted from her back hitting the ground. Bakugo pinned her to the ground. Freya looked up at him. Their faces were inches from each other.

"You still can't beat me, Brat." Bakugo said with a smirk on his face.

"They gonna kiss?" Mineta asked. Jiro sent an earphone jack back and connected with Mineta's head. Mineta cries out in pain.

"I'll find a way someday, Katsuki." Freya said. She sighed knowing there was no way out of this one. "I surrender."

"Aizawa gives up! Bakugo advances to the final round!" Midnight called. Bakugo stood up. He held out his hand for Freya. Freya took it and he helped her stand up.

"We will have a half an hour break for snacks." Present Mic announced.

Freya was walking towards the stairs.

"Freya." Bakugo called, running towards her.

"Come to goat that you won?" Freya asked as he stopped in front of her.

"No. I made a decision of something if I won the match against you." Bakugo said. Freya raised an eyebrow at him. "I've liked you more as a friend for awhile and when you kissed me back, I suspected you liked me back. Will you go out with me on a date?" Freya was shocked at his question. She wasn't expecting it after losing to him. "I'll take that as a no." Bakugo turns to walk away when Freya grabs his arm and pulls her to him. "Wha.." Freya kissed him on the lips, wrapping her arms around his neck. Bakugo wrapped his arms around her waist. Freya pulled away.

"You're a dumbass. Yes, I will go out with you." Freya said. Bakugo grinned a triumph of a smile and leans down and kisses her again.

"ABOUT DAMN TIME." Freya and Bakugo pull apart to see all their classmates standing in front of them. Freya turned red. Bakugo growled.

"Why does the class jerk get a girl and I don't." Mineta grumbled. Bakugo smirked at that. Izuku had a huge grin on his face. He suspected the two liked each other more than friends for a long time and he was happy to see the two happy. Kirishima and Kaminari were teasing Bakugo.

"Shut up you two or I'll kill you." Bakugo growled.

"Let's go get something to eat before the final match." Yaoyorozu said with a smile. Freya saw Iida missing.

"Where's Iida?" Freya asked.

"He had to go. Something happened to his brother." Uraraka said. Bakugo and Freya shared looks. The others headed to get their food.

"Shall we?" Freya asked, holding out her hand for Bakugo. Bakugo smiled.

"Let's go." Bakugo said. He took her hand, and they head to join their friends to get food before he faced off in the final match.

AN: Might have changed Bakugo a bit, but I think that was the best place for him to ask her out. Final Round is next chapter. Till next time.
