So, since you enjoyed the last chapter, then perhaps you are about to enjoy the upcoming chapters. That and I still need to find a co-writer considering that this story has a lot of lore than is going to take more than one person to even write it down.
Oh right, so this fanfic will include sources from Star Wars Legends as there are a lot of things that are missing in the Disney Canon timeline. Diss at me if you want, I am going to incorporate both timeline sources in this story.

Halo Galactic Wars Chapter Two: Saving the Rookies
"-ief!"
"-hief!"
"Chief!"
"CHIEF!"
Those were the first few words that the Master Chief heard after hearing the sound of ringing dying down. He immediately opened his eyes under the visor and let out a dry cough. Sitting up despite his sore body, the Spartan clearly saw that the sky was pitch black and where the Spartan was in a barren wasteland with craters literally the entire area. There was one thing that came into mind.
"Are you aright?" The Weapon asked him.
"How long was I out?" The Spartan asked back.
"For about twelve hours now."
Chief looked around as he sees the same thing with more craters, "Where are we?"
Now that he asked that question, his AI companion responded back with a confused tone that was heard in her voice as well as her facial expression as her avatar appeared on his left palm. "I…honestly don't know. From what I can gather, we are somewhere that is definitely not located on Installation 07."
Well, that was something that the Spartan can agree on. Finding his Assault rifle near his right foot, the Spartan proceed to pick it up and slung it onto his back. As he did so, he then asked, "Have you made contact with any UNSC personnel yet?"
"Now that is a strange thing. I…haven't." The AI responded back with honesty.
"What?" Chief said in alarm yet his stoic voice still remained.
"Hold on," the female AI spoke, "I am picking up a signal that may help us find out where we are."
"Put it on." The spartan kindly ordered and with the Weapon quickly snapped her fingers on her right hand, they soon heard a broadcast.
"—listening to the Grand Army of the Republic broadcast. The voice of the Outer Rim. This next one goes out to the Mud-jumpers of the 224th, slugging it out on Mimban. Keep your head down and your seal tight, boys."
Disconnecting from the broadcast, the AI exchanged looks from the Spartan as he did the same. Both continued to be like this until the former said these three words. "Grand Army of the Republic? The Outer Rim? Mimban? That is definitely not UNSC. I think we're not even in our Galaxy anymore." Her last sentence had a bit of worry in her voice, looking at the Spartan.
"Wherever we are, we need to go to a nearby station to at least find out where exactly we are." The Chief recommended after hearing the broadcast despite knowing that he is no longer in known UNSC territory.
"Already marking a nearby station." his AI Companion informed him. Very soon, her avatar went back into his chip placed onto his helmet.
Looking at the indicator displayed on his visor to tell him where the station was, he proceeded to trek his way there. He was completely unknowingly followed by a large snake-like creature.
-Scene Change-
Elsewhere an idle Republic Fleet as in space with a squadron of V-19 fighters passing by one of the Venator class star destroyer. Within the said ship is a Jedi master named Obi wan Kenobi as he stares out in space in thinking before turning to walk towards Anakin Skywalker, his former Padawan turned Jedi Knight.
"Still up Anakin?" Obi wan asked as Anakin was looking over the holo-map, "I would have thought you'd have gotten some sleep by now."
"I'll sleep after we catch Grievous." Anakin answered as he put a hand to his head to rub his temple, "Clone intelligence last reported seeing the general in the Balmorra system, but that was several weeks ago. Since then he's just vanished."
"Well, unlike you, maybe he's catching up on some much needed rest." Obi wan said with an honest opinion as Anakin's droid companion R2-D2 beeps in agreement.
"Excuse me, General." Admiral Yularen said as he approach Anakin and Obi wan, "Incoming transmission from Commander Cody." He explains as he turns on the comms connecting both Cody and Rex as Cody spoke first.
"General Kenobi, General Skywalker."
"Cody. How goes the inspections?" Obi wan asked as he puts his hands behind is back knowing Cody as usual.
"The tracking station in Pastil is fully operational. Captain Rex and I are proceeding to the outpost in the Rishi system." Cody reported.
"Good. Report back once you've arrived." Obi wan ordered.
"Copy that. Cody out." With that, the holo-com went out.
"Good man, that Cody." Obi wan praised before turning to Anakin, "Don't worry, Anakin. If General Grievous comes anywhere near this quadrant, we'll know about it."
At that exact moment, both Jedis got hit hard. Well, not hard but it's enough to make them notice it. It must have been something cause they both put a hand to their head cause it felt like something had hit them hard in the head. The clones, R2 and Yularen must have notice as some nearly got up out of their seats to check up on them.
"Generals, are you alright?" Yularen asked with concern. Sure he may have been rough on Skywalker due to his reckless nature but he still respected him in some way.
"We're fine Admiral, it's just... " Obi wan answered as he trailed off a little as he turned to Anakin. "You felt that too, didn't you?"
"I did." Anakin answered as he shook off the headache or whatever the heck it was as he turns to Yularen. "Contact the Jedi Council and ask them if they had anyone that encountered something strange."
-Scene Change-
A few minutes had passed and the Chief could see a large building structure up ahead. It seemed to be a military one by the looks of it. "This is the station you marked, right?"
"Affirmative." The AI chipped at his answer. "Rishi Station, also known as the Rishi Moon Outpost. This is a listening post on this moon that we are in and from what I could gather, this is for this Galactic Republic that was mentioned in the Broadcast."
"…" The Master Chief went quiet upon this information dump. If this is a listening post then that would mean he could get off this planet as soon as possible and go back to fight the Banished on Installation 07. But he has to be reminded that he is in unknown territory, meaning that he has no possible contact with any UNSC personnel. If there was any.
"Chief." The Weapon called out to him, making the Spartan snap back to the real world. "I am picking unknown signals from the sky. Eyes sharp."
Master Chief looked up to the sky and saw multiple meteorites entering through the orbit. As they landed, he immediately pointed his assault rifle due to his motion tracker picking up and saw smoke emitting from where meteors had impacted, including some that had made it onto the base. As it became clear, he saw robots that were akin to thin skeletal beings with white eyes and had a strange-looking firearm along with swords strap to their back.
In an instant, those unknown dots became red which alarmed the Spartan. Chief then fired his assault rifle at the new enemies. However, he only managed to down two of the five enemies as he was out of ammunition. He was too distracted by whatever was happening in the base as a soldier cladded in white armour was thrown down and multiple Blaster shots were heard.
One made its way towards Chief and was about to pull its sword out but was instantly destroyed when the Spartan knocks it head off its body by using the buttstock of his rifle and put it onto his back to reserve his remaining ammunition. Grappling one of the weird looking weapons, he held it onto his hands and fired multiple 'plasma' bolts at the remaining enemies.
As that was over, the AI quickly analysed the strange looking weapon the Spartan was holding. "From what I gathered from those robots that aren't definitely Forerunner, that firearm you are holding is a E-5 Blaster Rifle model. Strange name to say the least. I think that should be useful for now. Guess I should have hacked them earlier before you destroyed them?"
"…" The Spartan went quiet when all of a sudden the earth started shaking. In an instant, he swore he could have saw some large snake-like being moving through the holes.
"That does not look go—I'm detecting four unknown lifeforms entering through a vent." She instantly informed the Spartan as she changed the subject for a good reason. "Whatever that thing was, it sure won't be so friendly to those people."
"Mark their location." Chief ordered as he see the life forms were marked on his hub. He had a feeling that the worm was gonna head to those life forms. Aiming with his left arm, he pointed up as he fired his grapple shot and flew towards the life forms.
Meanwhile, the four men that wore the same white uniform and were a part of the Rishi Station escaped through one of the vents and came out of a vent before they looked around.
"Something's not right here." One of them said as he looked around the area.
"Well, good luck. I'm putting you in charge of this one." another retorted back as he looked over a cliff.
"What do we do without the Sarge?" the third one asked his squad.
The one with binoculars attached to his helmet began to recite the regulation manual that he learned from when he was a cadet, "The reg manual says the next..."
"Wait. Wait. Did you hear that?" the second asked as he cut his fourth member off.
"Yeah, what is that?" The first clone began to ask as he had a pistol he had on him out as the noise grew closer and louder, "It doesn't sound like droids."
"Don't forget about those giant eels." The second clone said as he also got a blaster pistol out.
"I've never seen..." The third one said as one of the Eels appear behind him.
"CUTUP!" The fourth clone yelled as the identified soldier Cutup turned around. As the Eel was about to grab him, a sudden blast completely caught it off guard which was followed by a green blur as something or someone had slammed into the large creature.
"What the hell is that?!" the first one yelled with hesitation. He thought it was a droid until the Eel let out a scream before falling dead. The green thing soon landed in front of them and stood up staring at them with its golden visor.
It was silent as the soldiers stared in shock in front of their saviour as a deep male voice that didn't sound like a droid made them snap back to reality very stoically. "You ok?"
None of the clones replied as they stare at the green armoured individual. It continued to be like this before Cutup replied back as he still felt the aftershock. "Yeah. Thanks for saving me."
Chief was about to speak when all heard a noise coming up from the night sky. All looked up to see a space shuttle about to land to the Station. "Look! It's commander Cody." One of the soldiers pointed out.
"It's the inspection team." The Soldier with binocular attachments echoed in as the ship landed into the landing platform.
The Weapon immediately heard the voice of the two soldiers and she should have sworn that they sound the same. "Is it me, or they share the same voice?"
Chief said nothing as he looked back at the soldiers, who he suspected to be clones, who were all debating on what to do. "It's no good. Their commlinks are on a different scramble set." The binocular soldier informed them as he was fiddling with his wrist-com.
For a while, all cannot decide what to do. That was until one of them suggested the appropriate action of this situation. "I'll signal them with this flare." He held out a flare ammunition before putting it onto his blaster pistol.
Minutes later after hearing blaster fire and an explosion followed by a destroyed republic shuttle after one of the soldiers sent a signal flare, Chief led the four men down to the area where the Spartan began to hear two voices going down towards their position. "Well, that sure complicates things, Commander. No worse than that time on Tibrin."
"We had Jedi with us on Tibrin. They helped." Another voice said as they turn to see the five people. The two instantly raises their guns at them while Chief didn't raise his hands up until they were either friend or foe as he could see a blue armor soldier and an orange armor soldier with the blue one speaking first. "Hands above your head. Take your Helmet off."
One of the armoured Soldier looked at the others then back at the blue one. "Uh, Sir?"
"Take 'em off! Now!"
As the four men behind Chief takes off their helmets to reveal them all having the same facial structure underneath. The two men then turns to him as they are waiting for him to do the same thing as well. That was until the AI spoke for the Chief through the blue one's comms. "Um, that is not going to happen since he doesn't like taking it off."
The blue one, was about to respond as he heard a female's voice through his comm, when another Eel appear behind the two. The blue soldier turned around and pulled out his blaster pistol before shooting the eel in the eye, instantly killing it. It impressed the Spartan to see this soldier not scared of whatever the heck that thing was.
"Nice shot." The one clone said as the blue clone took off his helmet to reveal the same face, with the only difference is that he has blond hair and he went to the now dead Eel.
"The name's Rex. But you'll call me Captain or Sir." The Blue clone now known as Rex said as he put his hand on the Eel which spilled out blue blood.
"Sir, yes, Sir!" All the now revealed clones behind Chief respectfully shouted back at their new Commanding Officers.
"I'm Commander Cody, your new boss." The clone with orange markings said, taking his helmet off with the difference being that he had facial scars on his face.
One of the clones with a number five tattoo then step up and introduce himself. "My designation is CT 27-5555, sir."
"We call him Fives. I'm Hevy. This is Echo, and Cutup." The clone know identify as Hevy said as he points to each of the clones.
Rex nods at each of them before turning towards the Chief and unknowingly his AI. "And you are?"
Chief hesitated for a moment but before he could say anything, his AI spoke for him, "I'm his personal companion, Joy. And his name is—"
Chief was partly annoyed by what Joy about to say. So he said his spartan number, "Spartan 117."
He must have felt Joy giving him a look or an annoyed look even though she knows him for a while before picking up before picking up where he interrupted, "Just call him Chief."
"Where's your Sergeant?" Cody ask as he looked around for the Sergeant of the group.
"Dead, sir. We're all that's left." Fives answered looking a bit down as Chief sort of understood. This must have been the first time for the clones to see a trooper or whoever the heck these clones are to see one of their own kin dead.
"Looks like we got ourselves a batch of shinies, Commander." Rex said as he looked to Cody.
"Shinies, sir?" Echo asked confused as Rex walked up to him and put his hand on the chest plate with the blood of the eel. As soon as it came off, it reveal that a blue hand was imprinted onto his armor.
"That's right. Your armor, it's shiny and new, just like you." Rex explained as the Weapon, now named as Joy was about to ask does that include Chief here he went to reply "Not right now" inside of his helmet. Joy must have understood this as she went silent.
"Well except you." The Clone Commander admittedly as he laid his eyes onto the Spartan. "I never seen a design like that before. Are you from around here?"
The AI was about to reply when Chief then answered his question. "Classified." He didn't want to give out any information. Well, not now of course due to the situation that they are all in. He already imagined Joy pouting that she was yet interrupted once again.
Narrowing the eyes at the armoured stranger, he looked back at ones of the Clone who had a determined look on his face. "Sir, me and my batchers are trained and ready. We'll take back our post, shiny or not."
The Captain walked way from the group before he look back at them. "There's hope for you yet, rookie."
"Mind us tagging along?" The Spartan requested the only option to the Captain as he held the E-5 Blaster Rifle that he picked up from earlier. He was also referring to him and his AI.
Seeing some potential from this strange individual, Rex then nodded at him. "You seemed to be determined. Yet I see no reason why you have no reason to join us without any hesitation."
"He is the person who would shoots first then talks later." She informed him and all could hear that her tone was full of respect.
Thinking about what that AI, Joy, had just said, the Clone Captain look back at the Spartan. "You sure you are willing to join us?"
"I am." Came the quick response of the Master Chief. Again, no hesitation was heard in his tone.
"Yeah, I think he can come along with us." Cutup said, agreeing to the Spartan's words. "Were it not for him then I would be a goner."
With that said and done, all of the Clones put on back their helmets and proceeded to climb their way back to the base whereas the Spartan proceeded to grapple his way first to where they had just climbed. Seeing this made Hevy wanting to get one as he grabbed onto the holes that was in the rocky walls. "I want one of those things."
"One day. Just one day." Joy kindly replied back though sarcasm was laced in her voice heard through their coms.
Seeing everyone climbing to where he was at, Rex look at the area before him and informed the others. "Look sharp, Rookies. And Stranger. As long as those tweezers occupy this post, our home planet of Kamino is at risk." The AI wanted to know what this Kamino planet was all about but she knew Master Chief would remind her that it is not the right moment to ask that question since all had to stay focus on the mission.
Though his words were very encouraging to the Clones, Echo remained sceptical after getting his blaster back from his new Commanding Officer. "But there's so many of them."
"Doesn't matter, kid. We have to retake this base, so we will retake this base." Rex told the Rookie Echo with a very determined expression laced in his tone.
"How do you propose we get through those blast doors, Rex, old boy?" Cody looked at his brother in arm for any suggestion that he had.
In an instant, said individual had something good in his mind. "I have a few ideas."
"Actually, I was thinking of something very useful." Joy said as she had to consider that an AI was with them through the coms and her voice was then directed to Rex. "And I want to hear what you were planning first?"
-Scene Change-
In the entrance of the Rishi Moon Outpost, three Commando Droids were guarding it when all heard a buzzing sound. "What is that?" One of them spoke in a robotic tone. It then looked over to the entrance panel to see one of their units' head in a disguised as a Clone Trooper looking at them. Pressing a button, it then asked while the two looked, "Unit 2-6, is that you?"
"Roger, roger." 'Unit 2-6' replied back to it.
Some about Unit 2-6's voice seemed to be off. It almost as if it was akin to a female's voice. All three Commando Droids look at each other before the one pressing the button then stated something. "You sound strange. Is something wrong with your vocabulator?"
'Unit 2-6' then fiddled with its throat, completely unaware that the three droids were speaking to a hacked droid that had been reprogramed. It then responded back to a recorded voice of that of a Clone Trooper. "Roger, roger."
Still being very suspicious of Unit-2-6, the Commando Droid then ordered this individual to do one mandatory thing. "Take off your helmet. Let me see your faceplate."
"Roger, roger." With that, the controlled Commando Droid then took of its disguised helmet to reveal its own head for the three Commandos to see.
As this was going on, the clones and Spartan were hiding on the side of the walls to prevent themselves from being spotted by the entrance's security camera. This made Cody facepalm while his helmet was on. "This is never gonna work."
Rex, who was standing next him look back as he held out his DC-15 Blaster Pistol. "it's going to. Glad that Green guy's AI told me what she was planning to do. Guess that's my queue now." He then went to where the commando was and quietly place it down upon being deactivated. Hearing the door about to be opened, the Captain then pointed his blaster pistol at one Commando droid, who was very surprised to see an actual Clone Trooper.
"Woah!" One of the three Commando droids alertly said.
"Roger, roger." The Clone Captain mockingly said before he shot one dead. Before the remaining two got a chance to fire back, they were both shot down by Cody and Hevy. Looking to see all the present droid dead, Rex looked at everyone to make their next move. "Right. Let's move."
All of the Clones proceeded to make their way to the Command Centre while the Spartan was walking fast behind them. All took cover on the sides of the stairs. The AI all informed them with the amount of enemies present. "Heads up. I'm detecting nine enemies within the room. Suggest using an element of charging in and take out as many as you can."
Many of the clone were impressed by this AI. All had no idea that she could even do that. "Woah. What else can you do?" Fives asked Chief's personal companion.
"Focus on the mission." Chief reminded the Clone Rookie as he wanted all to stay focus on the mission.
"Permission to take point, sir." Hevy asked Rex as he stood next to him.
"I'm always first, kid." Rex reminded the Clone Rookie while thanking this green armoured stranger's AI for giving them the number of enemies in his head. All then proceeded to rush into the room. Chief used his grapple hook to land in between of two Commando droids. Before they can even make a move, Chief used both of his hands to slam them both into the ground, which crushed their heads due to the Spartan's strength and the Mjolnir Armor.
In almost an instant, all of the Commando Droids were destroyed. "There I got one!" Fives cheered as he and Hevy finished off a commando droid.
"Sorry Fives, I had that one." Hevy countered as he walked away with a smirk underneath his helmet.
"Like heck you did." Fives retorted as he was annoyed at Hevy.
"You were good there, Chief." Cody praised as he looked at the two droids Chief had smashed.
"He's pretty good at it when you get to know him." Joy commented as she then notice Echo heading towards the view area.
"Everyone may need to come up here real quick." Echo said as everyone rushed up as he had his helmet on with the view scope looking at a fleet in orbit.
All looked up in the sky and if one were to have a good eye vision, then they would have seen a lot of weird looking ships that both the Chief and his AI Companion has ever seen. "Strange, I wonder how the UNSC would see these kinds of ships?" The AI commented though she was ignored by the others.
All look to see a Separatist dropship landing in the LZ. "It looks like we have more visitors." Cutup said as Echo suddenly put two and two together.
"It looks like a Separatist fleet. That's why they commandeered the outpost. They're mounting a full-scale invasion." Echo said as he took off his helmet and looked at the others.
"We have to warn command." Fives said as he went to the comms array and try to do so.
"No." The Spartan objectively stated as he stopped the Rookie Clone Trooper. Everyone looked at him while the Spartan's golden visors did the same. "We need to fight."
"But how can we fight?" Echo asked the Master Chief. "We can't protect the outpost long against that army of Clankers."
It was at that moment did Joy revealed some important information that the Chief didn't like as it was very classified. "You don't have to worry about that. Chief here is a super soldier who can take out entire armies. Don't you, Chief?" She knew that she was just blurting out that kind of information. But at this rate, she thought of saying this to boost up the Rookies' morale and perhaps give some motivation to the Clone Officers.
"SUPER SOLDIER?!" The Rookies shouted in pure shock upon hearing this.
Rex and Cody were too surprised upon this information. "Wait, so you can take entire armies by yourself?" The former asked the Chief to which he responded back in his usual tone.
"We don't have time for that." The Spartan reminded them as he was clearly not impressed that his AI Companion would blurt out that kind of information, but knew she had a good reason why.
"Well, if one person can do that, then perhaps he can fend off an entire Droid Army for us." Rex stated as he was clearly surprised that Chief is a super soldier.
Despite this, Chief had to say one thing. "This outpost has already been compromised. The only option we have left is to destroy it."
All the Clone Rookies looked at the Spartan with shock at his statement. Echo was the first one to counter Chief's statement. "With all due respect, Chief. But our mission is to defend this facility at all costs."
"The objective always change, kid." Rex responded back to the Clone Rookie, agreeing to this Spartan's words. "We have to warn the Republic about the invasion. They'll take notice when all-clear signal stops."
"That's right," Fives said, realising what the two were talking about. "When they stop receiving our beacon, they'll get the message something's wrong."
"Better do that now." Chief's AI Companion said through their comms with alarm hinting in her tone. "I'm picking up a lot of movement from the LZ."
Knowing that the situation is dire, Rex then looked at the others for one thing. "We'll need every thermal detonator in the inventory."
As the Captain said that, Hevy just had to point out one vital point. "It'll take more than a few detonators to destroy this outpost."
"We can use the LT." Everyone turned towards Echo who was sitting in the main control panel of the base. "This moon freezes for over half the year. We use Liquid Tibanna as fuel to heat the base.
"Liquid Tibanna: highly explosive." Commander Cody stated as he looked back at his old friend.
"Good." The Captain then looks back at everyone. "Bring the tanks here and prime the detonators." As everyone gathered up while the Chief maintained his distance but can hear them talk, Rex them made a speech about their home; Kamino and how they are fighting more than for this Republic that the Spartan and his AI had zero idea about, Chief made his way through the entrance path with Fives and Hevy on his side while the others armed the bomb. The former had a DC015A Blaster Rifle while the latter opted a Z-6 Rotary Blaster Cannon, something that made the AI question if that was a logical weapon to use.
Chief held out a DC-15S Blaster Rifle and was in position. It was then that all heard a voice through the entrance's comms. "Reinforcements reporting. Open up."
The outpost's door then open and all the droids were surprised to see a Clone Trooper aiming his minigun blaster at them. "Didn't say please." With that done, Hevy fired his weapon and destroyed the first wave of enemies.
As more came, from what Joy had to see that they were the B1 Battle droids and B2 Super battle droids, Fives and Chief provided firing support for their Clone Trooper. Chief was taking more down than the rest of the Clone Troopers and Hevy realised that. "Hey Chief! Better leave some for us."
Seeing that the B2 Super Battle Droids were coming up, both Hevy and Fives had to tactically retreat back into the main sector of the base. "Fall back to the op center!" Fives told the Spartan.
Chief wanted to provided covering fire for them but Joy had to chime in to remind the Spartan of something. "Better do the same Chief. You don't want to have your armour and me be in enemy hands." Hearing this made the Spartan let out a sigh as she had a valid point and that would break UNSC Protocols. The Spartan then went back to regroup with the others.
As he and his AI Companion went back, they all saw the clones going through a tunnel except Hevy who was holding a controller of some kind. Walking up the Clone, Chief then asked, "What's wrong?"
"The detonator wouldn't connect." Hevy told the Spartan as he pointed at the explosives and held out the device. "Captain Rex ordered me to take care of arming the bomb and—"
"Go." Chief told the Clone Trooper.
Hevy blinked at the Spartan's words. "Wha—"
"Go with the others, I'll take care of it." The Chief interrupted with a stoic tone.
Seeing that the super soldier means it, Hevy then gave the detonator to the Spartan. "If you do not make, then it's an honor to fight by your side." With that, he proceeded to climb through the tunnels to regroup with the others.
Picking up the air vent and sealing the pathway to prevent the enemies from realising that they had already escaped, Chief quickly went up to where the explosive was and held his left palm out to reveal Joy's avatar. "Can you link the bomb to your systems?"
Joy looked back at the Spartan with an obvious look on her face. "This won't take a minute." In an instant she she fidgeted with the device and snapped her fingers on her right hand, indicating that the explosives was soon linked to her. "There. Now all that's left is to regroup with the others so I can detonate the bomb."
Pulling Joy's Avatar back to his armour, Chief stood up but quickly turned around as he saw multiple red dots on his HUD. There, he saw a lot of those B1 Battle Droids looking at him in a very confused way and all looked back at each other. "Um, is it a droid?"
"I dunno but I think it is a Clone Trooper."
"What? I don't believe he is neither as it—" one B1 battle back to where the green armoured individual was to see him gone. "Um, where'd it go?"
That came from the response of glass being shattered. All turned to see a window being destroyed and all B1 and B2 Droids look back at each other. "You think that thing was either a droid or clone of some kind?" Another B1 Battle Droid asked his kin.
Meanwhile Chief had used the Droids' distraction as a chance to escape the outpost. Using his grapple to make his way to where he first meet the Clones, he landed near their position while a small crater was made beneath his feet. Pulling out his left palm, his AI Companion's avatar appeared. "So, you ready to detonate it?"
"You did your part and I'll do mine." Joy said and just snapped her fingers.
*KABOOM*
"There. All done." The AI commented with a smile on her face and she wasn't bothered by seeing a Separatist Dropship come crashing down as well as a bunch of droids.
An explosion appeared behind them, which sent the outpost crumbling down, resulting in all clear signal to be destroyed. Chief then turn towards the Clones, all of whom were speechless at seeing Joy. Both she and Chief looked back at each other before the former gave an awkward wave. "Um hi?"
Meanwhile Anakin and Obi wan were discussing what's taking so long with Cody and Rex when Yularen spoke up, "All clear signal seems to be down, the Rishi outpost is no longer translating."
"Grievous." Anakin said as he turn to Obi wan who agreed.
"Prepare the fleet to jump to hyperspace." He ordered as the fleet began to mobilize.
In the Capital Ship of the Separatist's fleet, a cyborg general who was known to be a Jedi Killer, Grievous, looked to see everything exploded after spotting a strange looking green individual jumping through a window. "What happened?! I gave them specific orders to NOT blow up the Station!"
One B1 Battle Droid then spoke up as it saw some merit. "But Sir, isn't it good that the base is destroyed?"
"Idiot!" The Cyborg General responded back with a leer. Up in the view of the bridge, he saw multiple Republic ships coming from hyperspace. "The Republic fleet. We're outgunned. Get us out of here." He ordered now seeing that the situation was no longer in his favour.
Back down at the now destroyed Rishi Moon Outpost, Echo used his binoculars to see the Separatist's ships fleeing. "We've got those tinnies on the run. Thanks to those two."
All Clones look back at the Chief and his AI companion. The latter couldn't help to feel very uncomfortable at them looking back at her. "Uh, Chief. I think I'm getting some stares here."
"I never expect her to have a female appearance." Rex admittedly stated as he and every Clone saw the blue AI retreating back to Chief's armour. "And you better explain to us about yourself and your personal companion."
That would be very hard for the two to explain. How are they going to do that if they break protocols? Well, they would need to plan it together somewhere privately. In the meantime, all saw weird looking gunships descending towards them. All of the clones minus Chief waved at the ships to pick them up.
-Scene Change-
Within the hanger of a Republic Destroyer called the Resolute, all assembled clones were gathered in a ceremony for the four survivors of the Rishi Moon Outpost. All of them had their helmets taken off with except on one individual. One certain beard General then spoke to them. "On behalf of the Republic, we thank you for your valiant service, and we honor your comrade's sacrifice."
All the surviving members looked down at remembrance to their fallen kin, Droidbait, and soon they received their medals. "Your new unit is lucky to have you. I'd be proud to fight beside you anytime, anywhere." Skywalker continued before both he and Obi-Wan gave them a respectful bow while the Rookies gave them a salute back in response.
Seeing both Jedi Generals walking to where a certain individual, Rex then look at them. "Congratulations. You're not shinies anymore."
Having a moment of thought, Echo then spoke with a reluctant expression onto his face. "With all due respect, sir, we failed our mission. We don't deserve this honor."
"No." All surviving members of Domino Squad look at Commander Cody who gave them an appreciative look on his face. "No, if it weren't for you, the Republic wouldn't have learned of the Separatists' invasion until it was too late."
"Well, we have to give the most credit to him." Cutup stated as he remembered the Spartan saving him in time. "Were it not for the Chief then Hevy and I would have been casualties as well."
In another part of the Hanger, Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi were looking at a certain green armoured individual and both had a facial expression mix with amazement and curiosity. "Rex and Cody were talking about you." The former informed the Spartan.
"I say, you do not look like a Clone Trooper." Obi-Wan spoke as he looked at Chief's armour design. "May I ask you where you came from?"
"…" The Master Chief tried to find the best words to tell them of what he was. He had to be very careful to NOT breach UNSC protocols since he is very loyal to them.
As he was about to say the right words when his AI Companion then spoke for him through the two Jedi General's wrist comms. "Oh that's just classified information. Just give us some time to think about it."
Both Obi-Wan and Anakin were surprised to hear her voice. Both of their Clone Commander and Captain had told them about this individual who calls himself Chief had a female AI. None expected her to speak through their coms. The former then informed the Spartan. "Alright then, Chief I assume that's your name. We'll give you some time to have a discussion with this AI of yours. How about we give you somewhere where you two can have your talk?"
That was something that both Chief and his AI Companion, Joy would agree on as they saw Domino Squad being reassigned to a Unit called the 501st Legion. Despite seeing the Republic Clone Troopers and thee Jedi Generals from what Rex was talking about, both were very aware that they cannot spill out any important information that is very vital to the UNSC. They cannot simply just give it to them, that is going to break protocols and both were very much aware of what were the consequences.
As both were walking with these Jedis named Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi, both of them just had one question in mind.
What the hell did they had just ended themselves up into?
Well, that wraps it up. Sorry it took me a while to simply write the chapter out as I wanted this chapter to be a perfect introduction for the Chief and his AI Companion. Oh and the latter's name, yeah my new Co-Writer/Assistant jojobinks01 came up with it and not me. Were it not for him then I wouldn't have updated this chapter sooner.
Crimson Soldat: So, with two chapters down I need to include most things from both Legends and Disney Cannon if I want to make this story interesting though I admit that I need to leave one certain bounty hunter out. Oh and if you're complaining about it is that I am NOT going to copy any writer's work, which is Avengers Infinite Wars by free man writer though admittedly the name of this fanfic was inspired by his work. I have history of copying other peoples' work and I DO NOT WANT to repeat that again.
