And I can tell that despite what alternates I am doing, there are bounds to be a 'broken base' trope in this story. In fact, this trope basically goes to every fanfic story out there. Can't really impress everyone and I have to ask you this? What options you have when you are stuck in another galaxy? Yeah yeah, that's what most fanfic story does. Following one's plotline while there are things being alternate and can't you really blame us about it? Hell, when you even try your best to balance the two stories even though there is a higher percentage rate of being one-sided! Sorry, I need to vent it out for being so bitchy about it but I need to remind some people why 50-75% of authors I know do that kind of thing. Looks like no matter what I and jojoblinks01 do, there are bound to be a 'broken base' trope due to peoples' opinions due to them.
But I cannot really blame them as they have free will and are bound to do whatever they like. However, they need to consider and remember that us fanfic writers do have free will as well and we are too bound to do whatever we like as well.
Sorry for that rant. I need to remind the readers of why I and jojoblinks01 decided to follow the Clone Wars plotline and having some characters being quite 'Out Of Character'. But it is not going to be the same. Just the first season and most of second season. Why may you ask? Well, you are gonna have to find out.
Oh, and if someone in the future will ask about the Yuuzhan Vong and Abeloth? Not gonna happen. If you want to know why, then they'll be answered in a future chapter.
Now all of that is over, sit back and read this story.
Halo Galactic Wars Chapter Three: Giving Out The Necessary Information
Chief was sitting alone in one of the rooms within the Republic Ship called the Resolute. He had his left palm out to reveal his AI Companion Joy, who was looking back at him with slight concern on her face. "Are you sure about that?"
The Spartan nodded back at his personal companion. "If they ask us, we only tell them about the important information. Not our personal information." He had to be precautious to what he was going to say. Who knows if this Galactic Republic is good or is morally corrupt like the UEG or any pasty Governments that he learnt during boot camp.
The AI blinked a few times before she nodded back to him. "Okay, just the important information that they need." That was good for her as she knows John's personal history due to her spending some time with him and having a few talks. In an instant, he immediately picked up something. "Looks like someone is coming here."
Retreating back to his armour, the Master Chief stood up and saw a familiar clone trooper entering the room.
The Captain of the famous 501st Legion of the Grand Army of the Republic, Rex.
The Spartan looked back at the Clone Captain while said individual couldn't help but feel very nervous at the Spartan looking at him. "Hey there, Chief. we're about to exit hyperspace and arriving at Coruscant. You wanna see it?"
The Spartan nodded in confirmation. From what Joy was about to hack into the systems of the Resolute, Coruscant was the heart of the Republic. He would've guessed that this Jedi Order from what he heard about were really keen into seeing him for some odd reason.
Walking with Captain Rex through the hallway, Chief passed by some clones who are all doing their duty and business. He received stares from them with some keeping an eye on this strange individual. Some couldn't help but comment.
"So, that's Chief right?"
"Yep. Heard from Domino Squad that he's crazy."
"Heard that he has a female AI as well."
"Wish I was there to witness it."
The Master Chief went quiet upon hearing this. He knew that those type of actions would gain so much attention n a very short amount of time. "Seems like you're getting famous around here." He heard Captain Rex facing back at him.
"He only just wanted to save lives. Don't you Chief?" Joy question him through his Mjolnir comms. He didn't reply back as he went quiet.
"You saved four Clones' Lives and aided them in the time of their need." Rex then added on, with his face having a serious expression shown. "Weren't it for you being there, then I would have imagined losing half of them."
The Spartan wouldn't deny any of his words. He only wanted to save them not because of the fame and glory that came with it, but also that he hope to see many of these Clone Troopers fight to live another day. "Well, the way he see it, these Clone Troopers are men and nothing more."
Reaching the Bridge of the Cruiser, the duo spotted Anakin and Obi-Wan looking through the atmosphere with all blue while seeing an Admiral by the name of Yularen on a circular holo-table. The former look back at his Clone Captain. "Rex. Good you brought the Chief here."
"Glad you are brought here, Chief." Obi-Wan added to his former Padawan's words. "You're getting a first view of a hyperspace travel."
"Hyperspace hmm?" Chief's personal AI spoke through their comms as the Spartan walk towards the view and eyed at it. This wasn't the first time he experienced such a thing when he did space-traveling with multiple UNSC ships.
Seeing this kind of thing from the Spartan made the two Jedis speculate something. "So, this isn't your first time space traveling, right?" Obi-Wan stated.
"Well you can tell from his body language." Joy pointed the obvious answer. "Though I admit that this hyperspace travels reminds me and him on slipspace travel."
"Slipspace travel?" Both of them said in unison as they were curious to what it is.
Knowing that it's going to be very complicated to even explain how to properly say, she decided to clarify what it is at her best abilities. "Honestly, from what I know so far is that Slipspace is kinda similar to this hyperspace thing that we're on right now."
The two Jedi Generals were quite surprised to hear this. Perhaps this slipspace and hyperspace is perhaps no different to each other in some capacity after all. Knowing that the AI was somehow inside of him and by some means communicating with them via hacking their comms, Anakin decided to request for something. "So, would you kindly reveal yourself?"
"Absolutely. Chief?" Hearing this made the Super Soldier sigh at this. He might as well show her to them considering that only six people in this unknown galaxy had seen her so far. Having his left palm out, a blue avatar soon appeared. This surprised the two Generals as they looked back at her despite being informed about her from their Clone Captain and Commander. She put her hand up in the air to greet them. "Hi there."
The aforementioned two Jedi Generals blinked as they look back at the AI with utter surprise. Obi-wan just cleared his throat to make him and his former Padawan snap back into reality. "So, this is your personal companion, Chief?"
"Pretty much. Though I have to do the talking bit since he doesn't talk a lot most of the time." Joy responded to the Jedi General. "I'm Joy. It's a pleasure to meet you two." The two Jedi Generals greeted the AI as well. Chief's companion then looked out of the hyperspace tunnel and wondered about something. "So, what's this Coruscant place we're heading to like?"
She got a response in the form of a clone pilot alerting everyone in the room. "We're exiting hyperspace."
"Well, you'll see soon enough." Anakin said with a smirk on his face as he looked at the AI.
Soon, the blue tunnel that the ship had somehow entered itself into soon disappeared and next thing that the AI and her Spartan companion knew was that they saw a lot of ships surrounded a planet. It seems like to them that the entire world must be very industrialised.
This made the two have their eyes widen in astonishment. Well, at least for the Spartan, having his helmet on basically masked his reaction.
"This is Coruscant." Obi-wan said as he answered Joy's question from earlier. "The entire planet is one large city connected by many means with many levels."
"Amazing." Joy spoke in complete shock. If she had to be honest to herself, this was the first time that she had seen such a thing. Same goes to the Master Chief though he admits that there were more ships on Earth's Defence Fleet before…that happened.
Passing by through the defence fleet, the Venator Class Cruiser soon descended down the surface. Soon enough, the city could be clearly seen along with many flying cars and many structures and buildings that had unique architecture designs. It could be literally seen in every direction. All around them were ships passing by.
Joy then looked at Chief who had a clear amusement on her face. "Chief, I have never seen a place like this before. This is something that I may remember for quite some time now."
The Spartan didn't say a word as this city started to remind him of the planet, Reach. A place where he and the other Spartan IIs once called it their home before its eventual destruction around eight years ago. In their original galaxy at least.
As the Cruiser was about to arrive at its destination, which was stationed near a pyramid-like structure, the AI couldn't help but eye at the mushroom-like structure that was next to a large dome beside it. "No mean to be rude or anything. But what exactly is that?" She pointed at the building.
"That would be the senate building where all the Senators of the Republic meet and discuss." Anakin informed the AI. He could already think of his secret wife doing her usual business for the good of the Republic.
"And where we're heading towards?" Joy asked Skywalker as curiosity was starting to get the better of her.
Obi-wan and Anakin were glad that she would have a question with that. The former was the one who answered that. "We're heading towards the Jedi Temple, home of the Jedi Order."
"What's this Jedi Order?" The Master Chief then spoke in his usual stoic tone, which again caught the two Jedi Generals by hearing his voice. None except for Rex expected him to have a male voice.
Having a few seconds of recomposing of hearing his voice, it was yet again that Obi-Wan then spoke in a lecture manner that the Spartan was all too familiar with. "I think that would be better for the rest of the Council to tell you. But to simply put it, Jedis are the peacekeepers of the Galactic Republic and it's our duty bring peace and balance to the galaxy and to the Force."
"…" Chief and Joy went silent when hearing this. An organization who are peacekeepers that serve one nation? That definitely raises some red flags if some or perhaps most within this Jedi Order would only bring interest to either the Republic or one organization's self-interests, which would be susceptible to corruption.
"We're almost at our destination." Anakin informed the group before he, Obi-wan and Rex turned around. "Come on, the rest of the Council should be waiting for us." Looking back at each other, Joy's avatar soon disappeared on Chief's left palm and he soon followed the three men.
As they head to one of the Gunships within the hangar bay of the Resolute, Chief took a chance to look inside. It's suitable yes, but there are some weaknesses that some could say it could be like the Pelican or some other aircraft back in the UNSC. Then again he hasn't seen this kind of aircraft in action yet. However it didn't seem that way to Joy.
"An interesting looking craft in my opinion. Wish we had this back on the Ring." Joy commented as she looked around the vessel. Chief wouldn't argue with it and soon he climbed into one of those gunships that Anakin, Obi-wan and Rex were in and headed to their main destination.
-Scene Change-
A young humanoid Padawan with a short blue and white montral and Lekku by the name of Ahsoka Tano, was walking along with a yellow skinned humanoid, Bariss, to meet with the other jedi masters on the platform. They were waiting for her master and her master's former Master to arrive with someone they had met or picked up from the Rishi moon.
"You got any idea who this person is?" Bariss asked as they are nearly close to their destination. Sure it wasn't her style to ask or anything else but she couldn't help but feel curious. Especially after the disturbance they had all felt.
Her best friend just shrugged her shoulders. "No clue. But I have to say that whoever this person is, he or she had caused a serious bump within the Force." It was only just a few hours ago, but it happened when she was studying within the Jedi Archives when it happened. But it didn't happen only to her. Practically everyone within the temple felt a strange disturbance in the Force.
A dark-skinned bald man with armour-plating gauntlets just crossed his arms as they reached their destination. "Whatever your Master and Obi-Wan had pick up from the Rishi Moon, it may be the source of your question, Padawan Offee."
It was then that the two feet tall, green-skinned imp nodded in agreement. "The Force, changed it has."
Both Padawans understood what their masters meant as they along with the others waited for the transport to come down. It was at that moment that they saw an LAAT hovering down towards their position. Yet…they all felt something off within it.
The dropship soon landed onto the ground and out to reveal Ahsoka's master Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Clone Captain Rex and lastly a strange individual that everyone had laid their eyes upon behind the three who exited the LAAT.
Standing behind them was an armoured green giant with quite a few battles damages to it. This individual stood at around seven feet and two inches. What was more noticeable was that its helmet design was rather unique. This is because that unlike any other helmets they had seen, this individual has got a rather shiny golden visor to it.
This individual just look back at them very silently while they did the same. None of them uttered a single word and the two Padawan were beginning to feel very uncomfortable at being stared at by this green armoured individual.
The bald Jedi, Mace Windu, took a step forward and look at the Two Jedi Generals and Clone Captain. "So, I take it that this individual is from the Rishi Moon Outpost?"
Obi-Wan nodded in confirmation before looking back at the Spartan. "Indeed. Everyone, I want you to meet Chief."
"Or Spartan-117 since he calls himself that." Rex added in respect for his part in the Rishi Moon Outpost.
Windu look at the three before turning his attention towards Chief. As he did, he and a few others did sense something off. Was this the same person that sent the disturbance in the force? He knew that this individual was definitely not force sensitive because…he felt empty.
"A unique person, you are."
The Master Chief looked down at the green creature and continued to do so with his golden visor. Rather than knowing that this individual was very uncomfortable at his gaze, he saw the look of calmness and curiosity in the small creature's face. "And who you might be?" Joy asked through Chief's helmet comm which caught everyone's attention within the area.
None of the Padawans and some Jedi that weren't informed expected to hear a female voice within this individual's comms. They all look back at the Spartan and although he didn't show it through his body language, he was starting to get a little bit uncomfortable. Putting his left palm out, Joy's Avatar then appeared and look at him. "I think that's a bit better. Thanks." She then look back at the Jedis, who were speechless at what they were seeing. Like before, she held her hand up and waved at them. "Hi."
Everyone continued to have the same reaction upon the AI greeting them. However, the small individual look at her with a very discreet and analytical eyes. There was something familiar about her.
He swore he hard that voice from somewhere.
It was at this time that Obi-wan decided to take a step and introduce the two individuals for the Spartans. "That here is Master Windu, a member of the Jedi Council. The one that is speaking to you is Master Yoda, the Grandmaster of our Order."
"So this is your Grandmaster of this thingy you keep on mentioning?" Joy stated as she look at Yoda with curiosity. "He seems ancient but I do not know why."
"Species age differently." The Master Chief informed his AI companion in his usual voice. This made the two Younglings jump at hearing his voice.
They never expected him to be a male.
"Woah, was that your voice?" The Spartan look at Ahsoka who had the facial expression of curiosity.
"And who you might be?" Joy asked while looking at the Alien youngling.
Anakin was the one who answered the AI's question. "That there is my Padawan, Ahsoka Tano."
Joy smiled at the said individual and greeted her in a cheery tone. "It's nice to meet you, Ahsoka Tano. I'm Joy and I am curious to what species you are."
"Um…" Anakin's Padawan muttered as she could tell that the AI was really curious about that topic when all of a sudden she look back at the Jedi in black attire. "Master?"
"Well since you're curious, I can tell you." Anakin informed Joy though he felt a bit uncomfortable when the Chief silently looked at him. "But I have a feeling that we're just wasting time."
"Indeed, Jedi Skywalker." Yoda agreed with the young Jedi General. "To the Jedi High Council Chamber, we shall discuss, shall we?"
"Um, I have no clue what he said." The AI admitted, looking over to the Master Chief who didn't say a single word.
"That's how our Grandmaster usually talks." Obi-wan clarified to her since he had similar experience to her when he was just very young.
With that, everyone proceeded to make their way towards their destination. Joy had quickly retreated back to Chief's armour. During the walk, many of the Jedis couldn't help but take a quick glance at the Spartan. Many of them knew that they were looking at him because of his unusual feeling within the Force. But none of them couldn't help but to look at his armour.
It seemed to be very bulky and it look like nothing that no other Clone Troopers that they haven't seen.
Passing by other Jedis, they too couldn't help but to shoot a quick glance at the Spartan. His AI Companion couldn't help but to make a compliment at this. "Seems like you're getting some attention here as well."
"…" Everyone just heard the Chief being completely silent.
Ahsoka seemed to be the only one who seemed to be quite uncomfortable at the Giant's lack of words despite hearing him talk earlier. "Um, I can't help it but he seems to be way more silent than before."
"You don't have to worry about that since he doesn't talk much." Joy clarified to the Padawan through her wrist comm. "He's more of what you might call a man of action."
"You can say that." Rex chimed in as he agreed with the AI's statement due to what he had seen earlier.
Passing by more Jedis that were giving a quick glance at Chief, they all reached their destination. The Jedi High Council Chamber. Chief was standing in the middle of the room while Rex and the other Jedis were standing aside. Joy appeared in the Spartan's left palm as she looked at the present Jedi Councillors in their seat. In two separate seats, the Spartan can see both familiar faces of Obi-wan, Mace Windu and Yoda sitting down in their seats. The others, well, let's say that they were unique in some way.
One was snake-like body from the waist down and had a long white beard and hair by the name of Oppo Rancisis with long finger nails.
A dark-skinned woman with weird looking hair from what the AI is seeing, even if it's not, Adi Gallia.
In another seat was a unique humanoid, Ki-Adi-Mundi, that had a cone-like shaped head with white moustache and beard sitting in another.
Then there was a green aquatic being with tentacles Kit Fisto who was smirking at the Spartan. Next to him was Plo-Koon that wore a weird-looking respirator mask that allowed him to breathe normally.
The only ones that were not present in meeting the Master Chief were Eeth Koth, Shaak-Ti, Saesee Tiin and Even Piell. All of whom were partaking in other Missions for the Jedi Order and the Republic.
It was during this time when Mance Windu decided to ask the question that was in everyone's mind. "Now that we are all here, we would like to know of how you ended up on the Rishi Outpost in the first place?"
Joy was quite hesitant to answer that question. She thought about the discussion with the Chief aboard the Venator Class Cruiser earlier before she knew what the say. "Well, it started on this mission. Back when we were on…" She looks back at the Spartan who gave a silent nod of confirmation to her to continue, "the Halo Ring while investigating a signal. As we seen this portal and we went ahead to investigate. The next thing we knew *bop*, we ended up here."
Hearing this AI's voice more and more the way she spoke, Yoda couldn't help but feel that familiar voice and decided to speak out about it. "Your voice." The AI look at the green being who had a serious look on his face. "Heard it before, I have."
This cause everyone in the room to be confused to what the Grandmaster had even stated to the AI. But to both Joy and Chief, they knew what he meant. The former then look back at the Spartan and silently spoke to him, "My voice? What does he mean by that?"
The Master Chief only went silent when his AI Companion said that. "It is none of your concern." He quickly responded back to the Grandmaster in his usual stoic tone.
Everyone looks at the Spartan as they had a feeling that something was off. Despite his calm and stoic body language and tone, they can tell that he was a bit sensitive about what Yoda had just said.
"So..." Anakin spoke up from the side of where the Councillors were sitting. "What is this Halo Ring you mentioned about before?"
"Well…" The AI spoke before using the Jedi's hologram terminal to reveal a large Ring World, Zeta Halo or Installation 07, for everyone to see. "It's a ring that was created by an ancient race called the Forerunners to kill a species called the Flood. But it would come at a cost kill them as well as most living beings." She was thankful that she had this talk with the Chief. Well, she didn't say all as she thought back to the Harbinger, who and her species had somehow survived the firing of the Halo.
Something about what Joy said made the Jedi feel unease, not at her or the Chief. But what at the word Flood. Somehow through the Force, it was telling them to pay close attention.
"The Flood? What is even that?" Ahsoka asked curiously as she somehow felt somewhat uncomfortable at hearing this.
Chief decided to answer the Jedi's question. "A Parasitic being that would want to consume the entire universe. Just one of them can destroy entire species." Memories of his experience with the Flood during the last months of the Human-Covenant War quickly shot into his mind before coming back to the present.
This answer only made the Jedis and even the Clone Captain present unsettled as they hear this information. Some of them are shocked hearing this disturbing piece of information coming from a soldier who seem stoic. Chief must have seen this horror first hand. Speaking of which, he could have sworn that the Clones that he and his AI Companion encountered and the one present shared the same voice as someone he encountered long ago.
"I think that would be a topic for another time." The AI stated, seeing how the Jedis and Clone were feeling uncomfortable with the topic. All known present nodded in agreement as they listened to the AI. "Now then, can you please explain to us about this creature that we encountered on the Ring before we ended up here?" The holographic image of Installation 07 soon changed to that of a five meter tall with long arms, immense jagged jaws, and a greenish hide that was more akin to that of armour.
Many of the Jedi were surprised that the two strangers had even encountered this kind of creature. It was then that one of the Jedi Councillors that decided to answer Joy's question. "That would be a Rancor." Kit Fisto answered. "It seem strange that you even encountered one as they are native in multiple worlds within the Galactic Republic."
"Rancor, huh?" Joy said while taking a quick glance before looking back at the Jedi Councillors. "Actually, I was thinking of you wanting to ask something about us."
The AI did bring up a fair point and it was Plo-Koon who decided to speak first. "This Halo Ring and these Forerunners, they don't seem to originate in this Galaxy."
"That's because we are from another Galaxy, if you believe it or not." The AI clarified to the respirator masked Jedi.
"Another Galaxy?" Ahsoka, Barriss and Anakin said with complete shock. The others had the same reaction. Well, except for one person.
That was Yoda. Eight years ago, he felt a slight change in the Force. It was only a little but he was the only one who had felt it. A similar occurrence happened six years later. The Force had told him that a small pocket had changed. Now, by looking at the seven feet tall, armoured individual, there was a slight sudden change within the Force. What made the Chief so special that affected the Force?
"Master Yoda…" Said individual look at Mace Windu who had a concerned expression on his face. "Is something wrong?"
"Apologise, Master Windu," The small green creature responded back. "The Force, changed it has around him."
"The Force has changed around him?" Ki-Adi-Mundi repeated the Grandmaster's words with scepticism as he looked at the Master Chief. "But that's impossible. He is not surrounded by it."
"He…seems off somehow." Oppo Rancisis agreed with the Grandmaster of the Jedi Order.
"The Force?" Joy quietly said as she looked back at the Chief with confusion shown on her face.
Seeing that most of the present Jedi Councillors were getting side-tracked by this certain topic, Obi-wan cleared his throat to grab everyone's attention. "There's another thing in our minds. Just what exactly are you?"
Rather then Joy answering the Jedi Master's question, it was Master Chief who had done it instead. "I am a soldier of the Spartan Branch within the UNSC and she is an Artificial Intelligence from the same organization."
"And what is exactly this UNSC and this Spartan?" Anakin's Padawan asked.
"That would be classified." The Spartan quickly responded to her.
"But why does the information with regards to this UNSC and these Spartan have to be not shared? Isn't it wiser for you to share it?" She questioned, wondering why Chief was so secretive in his words.
"That's because my loyalty is to the UNSC and will always be, not to a foreign nation." Master Chief stoically responded back, making the Padawan slightly shiver at hearing some bluntness in his words.
That earned an "oh" response from mostly everyone. Why is it mostly everyone? Well, Captain Rex decided to ask what his Commander's latter question were. "So these Spartan are Super Soldiers right and you're one of them?"
"You got that right." Joy revealed and was glad to know about the Spartans since her time on Zeta Halo and having small talks with her Companion from time to time. "Chief here is the most prominent one out of all the Spartans and it's just not him. There are others out there but that would be revealing classified information."
"And why would you not reveal about these Spartans?" Fisto asked the Spartan as he raised his eyebrow at him as he was interested about these Spartans.
"That would breach protocols." Chief quickly responded in his usual tone. "My and every Spartans mission is to ensure that all living beings are kept safe. It still is. And if you think that only matters to this Galactic Republic, then you are wrong despite not affiliating with them."
Despite his blunt and straightforward demeanour, Rex knew that this individual was being completely honest. This is due to what happened in the Rishi Moon Outpost. "Well, I myself and my Jedi Generals would like to thank you for saving lives back there. We're in debt to aid you in whatever way we can despite you not being part of the Republic."
"It's alright. That's Chief's Job." Joy said, thanking the Clone Captain for that. But there was something that was lingering to her mind. "So I just have my own personal question. Excluding Rex here, why is it when we mention about the Flood, you seemed to act up quite strangely?" Hearing the word 'Flood' only made the Jedis present in the room slightly unsettled due to the Force.
"What do you mean?" Rex inquired as he raised an eyebrow at her.
"I mean to the Jedis here in this room." The AI quickly responded though it wasn't in a rude manner. "When we mentioned about the Flood, you seemed to act strangely about it. I want to know why?"
Now everyone went quiet upon hearing this. They were thinking about how to explain the Force to the Chief. Well, it only took one Jedi Council Member to answer the AI's question. "Well, to simply put it, every time you and Chief keep mentioning that, the Force told us about something horrible."
"The Force…" The Chief muttered curiously though is usual demeanour wasn't gone.
Joy had the same thinking as the Spartan as she also had a curious expression on her face. "What is even the Force?"
Yoda decided to continue off where his fellow Jedi Councillor left off. "The Force, unique power it is to the Galaxy. Certain individuals, Force Sensitive they are."
"Okay, I think that'll take some time for the both of us to process that. But what does this 'Force Sensitivity' have to do with Chief here?" Joy asked as she was more curious than ever before.
"When we sense Chief here, he seems to be 'off-putting' within the Force. We do not know why, but he's unique in a way." Adi Gallia informed the AI.
"How?" Chief said.
It was at this time that Anakin let out a loud sigh. Knowing that the duo had little clue of what they were talking about, he decided to speak up. "Well, if you want to know what the Council are talking about, you may want to grab a seat if you want. This will be a long discussion."
BY THE RINGS! I never expect this story to hit that many followers and favourites within nearly a month. That's amazing. It's nothing that I had ever experience before. Perhaps it is because that both Halo and Star Wars is popular, which goes to the latter, many people who would want to read more. But anyway, there will be a problem to one certain area. If this story gets popular, I may be even ask for someone to make a fanfic book cover for this story. Though admittedly, this is through Commissions and I doubt that this will ever get one.
Speaking of which, I read some reviews when they mentioned about the Mandalorians. I can imagine a slight split within the story. This is mainly due to the fact of what is about to happen in the future. But hey, remember I said about "there are bounds to be a 'broken base' trope in this story."? Well, this will be one of the reasons why they will be one. Which is why we need to make a balance between them and the Spartans in general.
Oh yeah, there are reasons why both The Flood and Joy's voice had somehow affected the Force and why Yoda knows the latter. And Like I said before, "If you want to know why, then they'll be answers in a future chapter."

Crimson Soldat: Well, despite me knowing what will happen in the near future, I really want to make this story more interesting despite the usual "following one side plotline" trope. And in order to do that, we need another co-writer that is willing to help us. It cannot be only me and jojoblinks01 writing this story and do some proof reading. It'll take a long while.
Jojobinks: Yes. While it may seem strange that there's three people working on this, you have to understand, not all of us know things about either star wars or halo. Even though I know most of star wars I don't know quite enough. Rest assure as more time goes on I'll know a lot more than I already did.
So, if you are wiling to be our third Co-Writer, then please PM either me or Jojoblinks if you are willing to help and know quite a lot about both Halo and Star Wars lore. But we would guess that it will take a while to find one.
