Alexus's Point of View
While I was training often, there were still days when I didn't have to. One day, I got to have Saix watch me. "What do you want to do today, Alexus?" Saix asked.
"Can we do-" I lowered my voice to a whisper. "You know what." I winked at him for good measure.
He laughed. "Sure. We can do that. Let's get moving before your father gives me other tasks to do while I'm watching you."
I followed him to the secret hideout. "Can we get pizza?" I asked.
"No," Isa stated.
"Why not?" I whined.
"For one, you're getting too spoiled. Another thing is it's not good for you to have too much junk food. I also am not about to buy you pizza because it costs munny. When you start making your own munny, you can buy as much pizza as you want."
"Okay," I sighed.
"We can still play video games if you like. Or we can do something else if you'd rather," Saix suggested.
"I want to play video games," I decided.
"Alright. Let's go," Saix prompted. I followed him to the tower where the secret gaming hideout was. After playing video games, we met up with Papa and the other Organization members for dinner.
"What did you do today?" Papa asked as I took my seat next to him.
"I played- I played with Saix," I replied. It wasn't a lie.
"I trust you had a good time?" Papa checked.
"Yes. Saix and I had a lot of fun," I answered.
Papa made a grunt of approval. "You'll be training more tomorrow with Xigbar."
"But, Papa, I want to train with you," I tried.
"I have other things I need to get done. I'll join you when I can," Papa promised.
"I guess," I sighed. The Dusks brought out the food. I became used to them over time, so they didn't bother me anymore. When we finished dinner, Papa walked with me to my room. "Papa, how do I get munny?"
The surprised look on his face made me question if he was faking not having a heart. "Munny? As in, to buy things? Why do you need munny?"
"I wanted pizza today, but Saix said that when I make my own munny, I could buy as much pizza as I want," I explained.
"You don't need munny. I'll buy you pizza after your training," Papa declared.
"Really? You mean it?" I asked.
"Of course. Alexus, so long as I am around, you will never have to want anything again. I know you didn't have much when you lived with your mother, but you will never live that way so long as you are under my care. I will ensure that you have everything your heart desires. You need only ask," Papa replied.
I hugged Papa. "Thank you, Papa," I said.
