Luna: Last time was the end of the Evergreen tournament and we held a parade in its honor. We announced the school clubs and Kai and Percival are becoming closer friends and the hatred between Kai and Ace grows. Let's not forget Milo's talk with Dean Lumino; there seems to be a growing problem with students at school. Let's not forget the dance which ended in a fight between Kai and Pollon. Even though Kai was the winner he ended up with some heartache. Only for it to be healed in minutes.

It's been two weeks since the end of the Evergreen tournament and it seems like the campus is more lively. Even working with my elite students. We've been working on setting up the rules for the class change race. I still made sure to keep up with their studies and give assignments and they are all pretty knowledgeable. They wouldn't be elite otherwise. Right after the tournament we also started their mentorship training. Nexus still harbors ill will towards me, not like I deserve his forgiveness or the Noivern trio for that matter. I can only do my best as their professor. I've still been trying to figure out who has an Ace power but to no avail. In our preparations for the class change race, we began remolding the underground labyrinth. The first part of the race will be there and the students will spend a bit of time down there, more than they would wish. I sent Percival, Sydney, and two other Aces. One was an Espeon she has the fifth rank and her name was Nebula Carbuncle. The other was a Ursaring. He is ranked nineteen and his name is Ren Ursa. Their job was to set the four buttons I gave them at the bottom of the four temples. I sent rank fourteen Kai, rank thirteen Fang, and rank two Corrode to help promote the class change race and spread the word that it was happening all across the Elemental region. Lastly, I asked rank one Jai and rank seven Nexus to join me in the lab to create digital posters and help with online media alongside Blaze. As for my other Elites, they were allowed to join any of the last two parties. We've been doing these projects for a week now and it would seem tensions in my class are high and not for rivalry alone. However, most of it may be aimed toward me thanks to our favorite axe dragon. Not to mention my love life is on hold. Considering the one I love the most is here and yet I can barely hold a conversation with him is irritating. I don't blame him though. I wish I could go back in time to enjoy our time together.
"Milo, you're spacing out" I was snapped out of my daze by Jason. How long have I been staring at a blank ORB screen? "If you are not feeling well, you should go home" Jason walked back to his area across from me. I looked around the room and we were the only ones there. Looking at the time it was half past four in the afternoon. I rearranged my screen and pulled up a screen with my twenty elite students. "What are you doing?" Jason could see my screen.
"Still trying to find out who is an ace, 'cause if we don't, I feel like something may go wrong" I sighed, sharing my uneasy feeling.
"What? Like, something will happen here at the school or in the future?" Jason asked.
"I feel like our trip to Galar will end in disaster" I sighed. Jason then stopped what he was doing.
"I guess it'll be important I share this with you but it would seem Sydney has grown in immense power since we started our mentorship program" Jason then pulled up a clip from their training and moved his screen to mine. It was a fight between Sydney and Jai. As the two were preparing for their final blows you could see her glow a bright orange before unleashing a Petal blizzard. She looked surprised she used that move and I would too. No Gogaot can learn that move. In the end, though Jai won which was no surprise from the school's number one.
"Interesting, almost as if she got a string of luck," I thought out loud.
"I thought I would share that before you go and do experiments on students," Jason scoffed. I feel like he'll be mad at me like this for a while. "Just because you are doing what's right now doesn't mean I trust you" he got up in my personal space and looked at me with a glare.
"At least you're giving me a chance and I thank you" I snug my arm around his waist and pull him close to me. I could see the visible blush on his face as I looked down at him.
"Ugh!" He shoved himself off me after his moment of haze. "Also why do you still have the guise of a shiny Eevee?" My eyes widened in shock.
"What are you talking about?" I asked. Keeping my calm demeanor.
"If you won't tell me then there is no point in pestering you" He then closed his screen and grabbed his things. "Good night Michael," he then walked out. I sighed to myself.
"Wow, he used your first name" I jumped at a deep voice. I turned to meet eyes with Dean Lumino.
"Sol! When did you get here?" I brushed myself off.
"No need to be tense, I came to ask a question," I visibly eased up and the Dean chuckled. "I wanted to know if you think someone is going around and listening to our conversations. Not just you and me but others that could include information about the Aces," As he said that I heard the door click close. "I already got my answer, have a nice rest of your day" Lumino then opened a space wormhole and exited. Why didn't he just exit the room to find out who was out there? What is he planning?
~Kai's~
After a long day of promoting, I thought it would be a good idea to chill out. I invited both Corrode and Fang to come with me. I had hoped Fang would say no and I'm happy he did. I don't think I can talk to him or Nexus right now. I have actually been avoiding Nexus and if I do talk to him it's no more than for a few minutes. I can see that he's getting annoyed that I'm avoiding him, but what does he care? He spends his time with Fang now. I guess in time for the Festival of Dragons, a special event in Evergreen since it's mostly a community of dragons. They do a commemorative dance with their partner. It's not for another month in November but I guess Nexus was preparing for that.
"Earth to Kai, are you there?" I instantly saw Nidoking in front of me.
"Sorry, lost in thought. We should get inside. You'll love this place. It's called Goodra's tea shop," I quickly tried to speed up our interaction.
"Not even, a hi, hello, or how was your time in Dark Moon" Corrode sighed following behind me.
" , I hope you have some seats open," I said with a pep in my step. As we made it inside I saw Tyler there.
"Glad you can make it Kai, you can sit anywhere. Not many come at this hour" She was right Tyler was the only one here.
"Didn't expect to see you two, you should join me. I don't bite" Tyler winked at the both of us. How can I refuse, only tea with my idol? We sat down and got me some passion peach tea while Corrode got the classic gooey tea.
"You're both men of taste if you choose to come here, I've been here since I was a child. Actually from when I was nine" Tyler recalled.
"How could I not come here, she was one of my former maids and took good care of me. She stopped working for my dad when I was about seven and bought this building to open up a shop" I said as if I couldn't miss the chance to be here.
"That's interesting how that timeline works because I'm only two years older than you," Tyler laughed.
"I forget that you are such a strong pokemon, that you are really young," Corrode commented with a bashful smile.
"I would like for you to see me as one of your peers because of our age, you can speak freely with me. Technically I am a student still too" Tyler chuckled as he sipped his tea.
"If that's the case I want to fight you," Corrode said with a lot of energy. This completely caught me off guard. No one challenges someone to a match unless they are sure they can win, However, Tyler just laughed it off.
"I'm afraid I have to reject matches from students of Evergreen unless it is an official match approved by the Dean, but nothing is stopping you from coming to my mentor session with Kai over here" Tyler did his best not to put a damper on Corrode's mood. You could see Corrode visibly deflate in his chair. "As a consolation, how about I treat you two to dinner, as much as I like tea and treats from mama here. It's vital to keep your body full of energy" Both Corrode and I perked up at the idea.
"Yes, please," We both say.
"Everything is on me and mama, I'll be sure to be back before I have to leave" Tyler left the money on the counter as we left. As we made our way outside there was a Zebstrika outside waiting for us.

"Kai!" He perked up and trapped me in a hug. "It's so good to see you, I knew I could find you here" Zeek sounded excited, but about what. "I got stronger, for you so we can be together" What is he talking about?
'Disgraceful for two guys to be together unless either of you can defeat me and prove you nasty beings can take me down. I'll give you as many chances as you like,' a nasty memory of my father played in my head. How did he become strong so suddenly after losing early on in the tournament?
"Who is your friend?" Tyler asked and his voice sounded defensive.
"Oh me, I'm his soon-to-be boyfriend, Zeek," Zeek said with no hesitation. I pushed him off of me.
"Stop being weird" Zeek pouted at me.
"We can finally be together after I challenge your dad" he sent a wink my way.
"How would you acquire such power so quickly?" Corrode asked the question I had in my head.
"I lost to another student who had gained this power and he said with it I can achieve what I truly desire and I truly desire to be with you after all the time we spent together" Zeek poured his heart out and it made me falter.
"What if I don't want that anymore?" I asked him and he looked disappointed and then angered.
"What are you talking about, we went through everything together even your father being a dick and now you are rejecting me!" He wasn't happy. Tyler stepped in front of me as if to defend me.
"Something not right as if he's being consumed by that power," Tyler said.
"Maybe you having this power will open your eyes, I challenge you!" A swirling darkness started to surround Zeek and bolts of lightning were going everywhere.
"No you won't I'll take his place I've been itching for a fight too" Corrode opened his ORB screen. "Zeek Blitz I challenge you as Rank two Corrode Gaia. Do you accept?"
"I accept your challenge and I'll prove that I'm even stronger than an elite student," Zeek accepted, and a timer was set up and a forcefield was put up to protect the area.
"I don't know your relationship with Kai but I can tell what you are trying to accomplish is noble but how you are doing it is not the right way" Corrode commented before the timer went off.
"Shut up!" Zeek retaliated.
"3. . . 2. . . 1 Battle begin!" The automated voice said. Instantly Zeek mega evolved changing the terrain around the two to his electric terrain. He should know that his electric attacks won't work on Corrode so what is he up to?
"You don't understand the power I gained so let me explain. For me, I can change the types of my moves during a match. I can only change it once and have the different type during the rest of the match" Zeek explained.
"This is news to me, ORB record" Tyler seemed worried. His ORB then split and recorded the match from different angles.
"At least this makes the fight challenging. I'll show you how much of a crutch it is to use mega evolution and the power you have now" Corrode went charging in Zeek's direction. Bolts of lightning started striking the ground but the color was light blue like it was an ice-type move. For a big guy, Corrode is very nimble. He jumped up and started to spin charging at Zeek. It was Drill run. Zeek easily flew out of the way.
"Is that all you got as an elite student?" Zeek Laughed. Corrode kept flying up high in the sky.
"Not at all and let me just say this will end quickly" He stopped spinning and was high in the sky, he looked as if he was barely descending to the ground. "Take this!" He instantly shot an ice beam at Zeek and it blasted in every direction. Not only freezing the field but also coming in contact with Zeek. Corrode's pure power can take anything on it's amazing. From the power of the beam alone, Zeek was shot into the ground and forced out of his mega evolution but the match wasn't called yet.
"You're not winning, I will win for Kai, and he will be free from his horrible father to do as he pleases. I was the only one he told and trusted so I have to do this" Zeek then was shrouded in darkness again. Bolts were going everywhere as if he wasn't in control; they even hit the forcefield and it was cracking. "My last ditch effort, ElectricConfiguration Final form: Never Ending Storm!" Bolts were going crazy and in every color.
"Corrode you're going to need to finish now or forfeit the match it's getting too dangerous in there" Tyler gave Corrode advice.
"I got this," Corrode said. A massive wave then appeared and the next thing you know he's spinning like a drill along the water. I see what he's doing. He's using the water as a conductor so the electricity doesn't attack everything in the vicinity. As he's spinning a blue light surrounds his drill run and then he's encased in ice. He then comes in contact with Zeek and he is shot back into the forcefield.
"Winner Corrode Gaia of the elite class," The automated voice said and I ran over to Zeek's side. The first thing I saw was that the darkness that surrounded him left his body. Also saw a crystal forced out of his skin and disintegrate leaving no evidence.
"Kai I'm sorry I couldn't win. I'll be strong enough someday to free you" Zeek said and then passed out.
"We need to get him to an emergency room!" Tyler shouted.
~Nexus's~

It's been a few days since the dance and I barely see Kai anymore. Is he mad at me? I don't understand what his problem is, when we were kids it was so simple just him and I playing games, laughing, and sleeping. It's so complicated to be hanging around him, maybe that's why I like him so much but lately, this has been really annoying. I had the chance to hang around Fang. He's pretty cool outside of class. I was on my way to see Tailside about an important meeting. What caught me off guard was that he wanted to only see me and not everyone in the mentorship group. As well as the fact it was late at night and I had to go into town. It's rare I get to go into Evergreen and Kai did promise to give me a tour at some point.
"What are we because I'm confused at this point and I'm no longer in control of the situation" I sighed. Passing by a restaurant I could see in the window Kai and Jai were alone having dinner. I could see Kai hiding his face from Jai while the fire lion was laughing. Are they on a date? I didn't realize I stopped walking and was staring till a voice caught me by surprise.
"Didn't expect to find you out here at this hour," It was gentle. I turned to see Fang's green eyes.
"Oh, I called out here for a meeting," I said with haste. I turned around and tried to hide the fact I was spying on Kai and Jai.
"I wanted to ask you something, but if you are busy," he let out a light annoyed growl. What is with his personality changing from asshole, to nice, to asshole again.
"I don't think a question you have will consume too much of my time," to get him to lower his guard I trapped him in a hug. Once I was done, I could see a visible blush on his cheeks.
"We've been spending time together a lot and I have feelings for you and wanted to see if you wanted to try courtship to be my mate or boyfriend," he seemed hesitant to share. I was definitely caught off guard. With everything that I feel for Kai and I can't deny there is something there for Fang.
"I have to think about it, I do like you but I also like someone else and it wouldn't be fair to you or the other party unless I'm definitely sure" I gave him a smile and he looked at me with red eyes. Then he looked in the window.
"I understand, don't worry," He spat. His voice was rough and rude like normal. "Come to me when you made a decision and it doesn't have to be right away," He stormed off, not happy but I could tell he was being genuine. Now I'm not sure what to do. I sigh as I take one last glance at the window. I saw Kai happy with Jai and then walked off.
Action: Another chapter is done.
Percival: The Class Change Race is almost here and we can compete this time.
Corrode: Yeah!
Sydney: Who do you think will win?
Action: Guys! Calm down, we still have another chapter before the class change race begins.
Zeek: Bummer.
Pollon: You can't even compete in your condition.
Action: Please do the preview.
Nix: Up next: It's time for the elite class to do some sparring with their mentors and have some exhibition matches. Blaze steps into Lunmino's office on his own accord to talk about what's going on with the students. Talk about a major surprise, but Jai gets injured. Hurry! Someone get him to nurse Joy.
