Action: We'll get there eventually but a recap of last time, please.

Angel: Last time it seems the professor for the Elite class is trying to rekindle the flame he once had with Jason. Not to mention love is still in the air. Not only did Zeek fight Corrode in the name of love for Kai. Fang actually likes someone and that would be Nexus.

Kai: I'm not sure what to expect anymore. *Sigh*

Ace: Action doesn't own pokemon, music links, or art if used.

~Kai's~

"Glad you all could join us for some joint training this morning!" Tyler's energy at eight in the morning on a Saturday is infectious. "As a special treat Axel, Blaze, Jason, and I made you all breakfast" Tyler gestured to the table with food on it.

"I'm surprised a lot more of you showed up than we anticipated" Axel complimented our group.

"Surprising to see fifteen of you here this morning on such short notice, honestly I'm impressed" Blaze acknowledged as we started to get food. Two days ago we got an invitation from Tyler for some mock training with a special surprise. To find out we were invited to his family's house which was recently remodeled. Especially their backyard Tyler noted when we first arrived. They have two battlefields and a Pokeball pool between them. I'm surprised that almost the whole class came.

The only ones that didn't were rank four Cami Xeno a Lucario who I think has special training she does on her own. Another is rank six Carmin Bolt she is an Ampharos and I think she helps her family with their bakery on weekends. I know for a fact that rank twenty Oliver Rush a Politoed wasn't going to show he doesn't do anything extra to better himself. Next on our list was rank nine Monique Thetta, To be honest, I have no clue what she does in her spare time. Lastly is rank fifteen Juna Fluff, an up-and-coming pop singer like Ashley Ribbon. She is probably rehearsing for her next performance with this being her senior year she's not taking this seriously.

While sitting down and eating I was with Sydney, Jai, Corrode, and Percy. I saw Corrode by himself and Fang was watching from afar. What's going on with that?

"Daddy where did you go!" a high-pitched voice could be heard from inside the house. Does Tyler have a little brother cause his family all greeted us as we entered? The sliding glass door opened and revealed an Oshawott. He looked really young as if he shouldn't be speaking yet. He then ran up to Tyler and jumped in his arms.

"You're a dad!" The whole elite class yelled. Tyler only laughed as he put his son over his shoulders.

"It's a bit complicated, but yes this is my son. Lucifer Loft" Tyler introduced his son.

"Hi everybody," he said in a cute voice.

"My boyfriend and mate are back at school, but I won't bore you with the details," he gave us all a sheepish grin. "Finish eating and let's start today's special training" Tyler took his own seat and started feeding his son with a smile. I can't believe he's a dad, but for his child to be so happy and attached to him and for Tyler to share that love makes me a bit jealous. All memories with my father are very distant even adopting my sister was a business marketing scheme.

'Interesting how you get consumed by your emotions easily or is it because you rarely show how you feel with others?' I jumped at the sound of a voice. It was weird, just a deep voice in my head. It wasn't like Pollon's Telepathy. 'No need to worry, I'm here to support you. Think of me as an eidolon,' the voice chuckled a bit.

'Eidolons are living or dead taking a physical ghost-like form. They protect sacred grounds,' I tried to share my thoughts like I do when Pollon uses telepathy.

'Correct, however, who said you weren't a sacred treasure? That's for another time, it's good that you can hear me but I'll talk to you again in the future,' just like it felt like I was alone in my head. As I came to, I noticed Percy was plain staring at me.

"Are you okay?" he asked but his eyes were piercing.

"Yeah just felt weird for a second" I shrugged as I continued eating. It didn't take long for us to finish eating. Tyler and our other mentors got up and had another announcement.

"Ethan Mane if you'd come forward," Axel said coldly. If I'm not mistaken Ethan is a part of Axel's group. He's ranked eighth and is a Rapidash. "You have special training with one of the Evergreen gym leaders Xavier loft. I assume you know where it is" Ethan didn't flinch at his words.

"Yes, master!" Ethan responded.

"Esmerelda King, you'll be joining Ethan for that special training," Jason said with a peppy smile. Esmerelda is a Krookodile, I don't know much about her besides she lives in Darkmoon. With their mentors' words, they left and went towards the fire-type gym in Evergreen.

"Now to the main event we have two battlefields and by the random shuffle, we pair everyone up. As a twist, we are to be your opponent but to win you only need to take down fifty percent of our energy. Our ORBs will record if we reach that limit to make this fair" Tyler explained.

"Our first two matches are Axel vs Kai and Nexus vs Tyler" Blaze showed us on his enlarged ORB screen. Walking out to the battlefield and being in the presence of Axel was way different than the aura he presented in the classroom. It was as if fear filled my body and I was ready to run away.

"I can tell you're scared, don't worry, do what your instinct tells you. I want to see what Tyler taught you" Axel's voice sounded sinister. He was trying to motivate me but it was in a scary way. I then noticed Nexus stepping up to the battlefield with Tyler and he didn't look nervous at all. I can't let him one-up me.

"3 . . . 2 . . . 1 battle begin!" Blaze was the announcer. When the battle started Axel didn't move but instead looked at me. It was then I noticed I couldn't move a muscle like I was paralyzed where I was.

"What is this?" I struggled to speak.

"I guess you weren't prepared for that, think of it as my special skill. Not many can escape and if they can it'll kick in eventually," Axel wasn't holding back. He started to walk towards me and fear started to brew within me. Out of pure instinct, I charged up fire in my mouth and launched it at him. The ball of flames grew into the Japanese fire symbol. Weirdly enough it looked like he phased through reality. He teleported and dodged my attack but was walking towards me all the same. How was he doing that? No, I can't lose this quickly even if he is a powerful opponent. Without thinking I used the move Superpower and flexed all my muscles. It was able to release me from his paralysis and I jumped back quickly. I wonder how his ability works. I then dug my way underground and was trying my best to keep my presence hidden. When I surfaced I charged straight into Axel's chest. I bounced back and launched a Fire Blast at him while in the air. I then dove back into the ground and continued tunneling.

"I have to say it's a nice tactic to stay out of my sight, I do commend you but that's not good enough" I heard Axel as I was tunneling. Then as I surfaced again I heard a snap. Next thing you know we are back to when we started the match. It wasn't as if time-shifted but I was completely taken aback by this. "You did do a fair amount of damage but it seems like you're out of steam" Axel teased me.

"I'm not done yet," I was still using Superpower in his line of sight so I could still move but using that move like this is not good for my body. I jumped up using Fire Blast again but transformed it into a funnel inferno trapping Axel in it.

"Oh, this is new," Axel seemed surprised. Landing behind him I wrapped my body around him and backdropped him into the floor with the flames.

"Eye Of The Storm!" I jumped back and watched the flames disappear. Axel was there getting up with a few scratches on him.

"Nice work I have to say, but you seem burnt out so you should rest," as he said that he throat-chopped me and sent me rolling to the edge of the battlefield. It hurts to move and I can see my classmates behind me. I can't even bother to look at their faces.

"Winner, Axel Dark," Blaze announced. I was then picked up and brought to one of the tables they have in the backyard.

"Nice work, eat this, and when you're feeling better join us again" a Sitrus berry was placed beside me and it was Axel who was taking care of me.

"Winner, Tyler Loft" Blaze announced again. It would seem Nexus lost his match too. Guess we are no match for Ferrum students. Though it's interesting Axel didn't use any of his normal fighting techniques as he does in Ferrum. I assume they were told to hold back. While thinking I munched lightly on the berry and Nexus ended up at the table with me. We sat there not saying anything to each other. What did I have to say to him, not like we were anything more than roommates anyway?

"For our next match, we have Fang vs Sydney. As well as Corrode vs Nebula," Blaze announced.

"They are pretty strong aren't they?" Nexus chuckled. Such a surface-level comment. " I wasn't prepared for his minesweeper attack and it went downhill. They are on another level," Nexus continued talking. I might as well give him a bone.

"I agree, Axel is no joke and his presence is that of a devil. Imagine if they fought us at full strength" ai turned toward Nexus and saw the injuries he sustained from his match.

"Maybe they have some out of this world power," Both Nexus and I started to laugh. It slowly died and we were just staring at each other. It felt like we were like this many times before.

'It's your fault you tackled me down the hill' a memory of an Eevee complaining flashed through my head.

'We still had fun though' the Axew started to laugh and so did the Eevee.

What's with all these memories playing in my head whenever I'm around Nexus?

"Nexus, did I-" I was then cut off.

"Winner, Sydney Stone," Blaze announced. We then saw Fang released from some vines which I can only assume was created by Sydney.

"You were saying something," Nexus tried to continue our conversation.

"I'm not sure I forgot," I lied. Maybe now is not the best time. We continued watching matches and training till it was afternoon when we were fed again.

After I was done with our little training session I was invited to Dean Lumino's office. It seemed urgent and how could I refuse when Tailside was also sent the same invite? Considering I've been trying to figure out what my father is up to since his last disaster involving Tailside. I barely have leads but I think I was able to piece something together. I made it to his office and met him and Tailside already there.

"We can start this meeting" Lumino wasted no time with my arrival. " We need to talk about MT's latest activity" Lumino then brought up a flatscreen and it had listings of my father's previous plans. Someone I never knew of. The latest ones are the ones I was involved in as well as Tailside. Then there are the recent cases in Evergreen and it seems like it is linked to MT because it uses a similar method to how I spread the S-Virus in Ferrum. "Any ideas gentleman" Lumino continued.

"After a recent accident involving a student named Zeek Blitz. Who is now in the hospital in a critical state after his body rejected a dark crystal" Tailside pulled up a video from a match between Corrode Gaia and Zeek Blitz a few days back. "Not only does it give you immense power but the students can somewhat control it unlike the mass outbreak of the S-Virus in Ferrum," Tailside acknowledged. "We still can't trace who is giving it to students since students who succumb to this power are giving it to each other," Tailside continued.

"Sounds similar to the power of Auobyss from Monkart, when Zero would give the seed to whoever lost," I made a joke and they looked at me, not happy.

"Please take this seriously, Blaze," Lumino sighed.

"Sorry, I thought I'd cut the tension a bit with a joke," I still had a smile plastered on my face.

"Moving on, how do you think we cleanse the students?" Lumino asked.

"Considering the crystals leave their bodies when they lose and the Class Change Race is around the corner. The elites will win every battle that is thrown at them I'm sure after today's training. That as well as some strong normal students too," I gave them my analysis.

"That brings us to the next topic: what is his true plan?" Tailside continued.

"Let me explain, let's start with the 99th incarnation of Zexeler. Otherwise known as the incarnation before Tyler, Axel, and Blaze" I didn't know he was reincarnated that many times. "As you know when Zexeler would be reincarnated he had a necklace and the pendant had three distinctive parts, Black, White, and Gray. Before he was reincarnated he broke the pendant into three and it spread to those he trusted the most. Sun Overcrest, Shun Dark or Nuxsh to us Aces, and lastly Austin Tsukuyomi," all the names Lumino mentioned except the last sounded familiar.

"We've been in contact with both and when you guys fought me as Zexeler Sun even gave you a fragment of the necklace. The black fragment which he protects with his life contains the true power of Zexeler's eyes," Tailside explained.

"Moving on to the white fragment which is in Dean Dark's hands, I assume you didn't know he had it. I don't blame him for not sharing since the three of you fusing to make Zexeler takes a lot. However, the white fragment contains his true power. As in fighting capability. It's stronger than any other legendary aside from our creator (Arceus) and of course MT," Lumino explained.

"Lastly, a pokemon that we have little info on is known as Austin Tsukuyomi the adopted son of Zexeler. All we know is that he is a former gym leader in Galor and is now an announcer for the gym challenge. He holds the gray fragment which contains all of Zexeler's memories," Tailside read the data we had on Austin.

"I understand a bit more about myself now," I sweat dropped.

"Moving on to MT's experiments. Before Zexeler was reincarnated he was testing ways to control pokemon but send them into a state of madness. Which seems to match the S-Virus and what's happening now. Only took him twenty-plus years," Lumino scoffed.

"Then what is our next objective here?" I asked.

"We have a few. We need to get our hands on the three fragments which can't happen until the semester we spend in Galor. We need to figure out where MT plans to strike next. Lastly, why he wants the power to control other pokemon," Tailside listed off.

"That's a lot to do but if you need my help," I jokingly teased.

"Please don't joke at a time like this," Lumino sighed. "Though we do need your help. We need you to figure out where MT plans to strike next," Lumino gave me my orders.

"I can do it," I nodded.

"Tailside, you will look into these crystals and I'll work on getting in contact with the three pendant holders. If nothing else, the meeting adjourned," The room returned to normal and I made my way out. I have a terrible feeling about this.

(Battle theme 1 - MHS2)

It's kind of boring running errands for the school as an elite student and double bummer is that I'm not hanging out with Kai. Since the dance, we have had a lot of fun times. He makes me really happy unlike the fangirls following me around. Honestly, popularity is not something I enjoy or deserve. Oh and for what I'm doing right now I agreed to help test out the labyrinth and set up traps for the Class Change Tournament and I'm here with Percival. We've been here for an hour and from what I can tell the traps set off at random.

"I have a proposition for you," Percival appeared from some shrubs.

"Arceus damn it, what are you a hobo," I clutched my heart.

"No, but I can act like one," he teased. He even chuckled at his own remark.

"Then what is it?" I asked.

"Why not battle while we're here? Not an official match but to see what fighting in the labyrinth is like so we aren't surprised during the Class Change Tournament," his proposal made sense but I feel like something is going to go wrong. I don't know what it is. I don't fully trust Percival. Especially after what he did when we were first in the labyrinth. From what I remember he was ruthless to other elites and got most of the hidden treasures.

"Sure thing, it's been a while since I had a mirror match," my mane charged with life as I charged straight at Percival and he was ready for me. He dodged my simple attack and I slid on the dirt and turned to face him. Flames started to dance around him like waves, he has amazing flame control but so do I. I engulf myself in flames as My mane then burns and then shapes itself to match that of a female Pyroar, there is no reason for me to hold back against him.

"Nice trick, I didn't realize Pyroar could switch their manes. The fact that females are also stronger, you have no intention of holding back which I thank you for that" Percival gave me a compliment.

"It's not a normal skill; few can do this and I happen to be a part of those few. Though let's continue this fight" I raise the heat up using Heat Wave and the jungle around us didn't like that since the vines started to flail about. Interesting it's like this is a living jungle. Percival dodges the vines' attack by disappearing in the blink of an eye and then reappearing directly in front of me. Then he disappeared again and I was getting hit multiple times, but couldn't see him. This must be Extreme speed, never had it used on me before. With his last attack, I was sent into the dirt. When I came to, a vine was about to slam down on me. I picked myself back up and dodged it.

"Interesting the forest doesn't like the heat so it's trying to attack the ones producing it," Percival said as he almost got hit. I find it interesting too but what is something like this doing underneath the school?

"Let's continue. I want to see what'll happen as we continue," Percival indulged my selfish request.

(Battle Theme 6 - MHS2)A/N: Jai's Theme second version

Jumping up I unleash a pulse of dark matter from my mouth. On its way to hit Percival, I cut a vine and it fell to the ground losing life and withering away instantly. After my Dark pulse came in contact with Percival, I let out a high-pitched roar. Unleashing a high frequency, forcing all listening to be in pain. As I landed I could see Percival do his best to cover his ears. I also noticed the vine was regenerating but wiggled as if it was in pain, weird. I took my chance and unleashed four ghost-like fight balls around Percival, using Will-O-Wisp.

"What is this?" He growled as he came to and tried to run out of my flames but he was stuck in between the four flames.

"Think of it as a curse for my finishing move" I winked at him. The four flames erupted into pillars to wrap Percival in an inferno. I then limp up a tree and kick off it to see the cyclone from above. I then get encased in a capsule of white as I feel my appearance change. When it breaks it's as if I have a cape of flames and my mane grows out more and I have scruffier fur. I then charge all the energy I have in my maw.

"You have mega evolution?!" I could hear Percival's shock. It was too late for him as I blasted my Hyper Beam down the inferno causing a massive blast.

"Ever heard of a cat that never lands on its feet, me neither. Hope you like my finisher Pride Flame!" I said my catchphrase as I landed on the ground. I went to look at Percival and he had a lot of scratches on him and his fur was messed up. However, he had such a big smile on his face.

"Seems like salvation is in order and now is a better time than never," he let out a cackling laugh. Two waves flowed out next to him like wings, one was flames, and the other water. " Thing is I don't think I need to mega evolve to take you out!" he was starting to scare me as he slowly walked forward. "To think they ranked me any lower than one, that's only because I haven't been pushed to the limit but now that I'm here I can't lose. Especially to pompous pussy such as yourself," Percival was not holding back. Was this his true personality?

"What are you talking about?" I asked as I got in a defensive stance.

"I've said enough, let God be the one to save you now" Percival was now cloaked in a dark aura. I was then wrapped up in flames myself. Then I was trapped in a bubble of water. How can I still feel the pain of flames while trapped in water? I then realized I was struggling to breathe and could see my air bubbles leave the water. While this was all happening, I could see Percival and the smile on his face watching me suffer. Everything started to fade and then I was slammed against the ground and was released from my water prison.

"You win, I give up," I said between coughs.

"I don't think I'm satisfied" I heard a light chuckle and I looked at him in shock. "With this being an unofficial match I can be as ruthless as I want," he then turned his head to what sounded like a snake. It was another vine and I was trying to get out of the way but I was struggling to move. I looked at my leg and it was broken, the adrenaline must be why I can't feel the pain. I saw Percival move out of the way.

"Please help me?" I asked him in a panic. Percival came back for me.

Action: Was Percival able to make it on time?

Kai: Why is this a good cliffhanger though?

Nexus: Don't encourage him,

Jai: I'm really about to go from number one to nothing from this simple fight.

Sydney: Don't go over the top next time Percy.

Percival: Sorry.

Pollon: Anyway. Up next: The Class CHange Tournament will be underway, but will our Rank one Jai be competing? Oh, look at this the Elite class is getting reranked.
