Fang: Last time we continued the class change tournament and what a tournament it is. My group went up against Kai's and owned them. Did you see Kai get launched into the abyss? *Laughs* However Pollon awakened some weird power and met the pokemon of life Xerneas. As teams scattered Kai ended up fighting Angel. Not to mention the betrayal of Nix against Luna and Pollon. Lastly, I got my kiss from Nexus, finally! Oh, Pollon and Kai got to speak to legendaries too, whatever.

Action: Also to answer I review I got on here I noticed. To answer your question no need to panic as Arthur's return will be sure just too soon to bring him back. This is all a setup for something greater that includes our loving garchomp. He'll be back for Arc 2 however it does take time to write if you're willing to be patient.

(Lively Days - Shadowverse)
It has only been a day since we got out of the labyrinth and it was well-needed. Wednesday night is when the first stage ended and I'm glad to say, Percy, Kai, Corrode and I made it. Notable fighters I noticed who qualified were Nexus, Fang, Pollon, Ace, Nix, and the entire elite class. After we all slept in we thought it would be a good idea to visit Jai at the hospital. What surprised me as we arrived this Thursday we saw Kai coming out from the elevator as if he was already here visiting someone else.
"Stop looking all depressed, we're here to see a friend," Corrde wrapped his arm around Kai and squeezed him, snapping him out of a trance.
"Yeah lighten up will yah," Percy sighed. I don't know how he could be so calm when he was there and couldn't get Jai out of the way in time. We all then made our way to the elevators heading to the seventh floor. It wasn't that far of a walk as we saw the name Jai Chesterfield on the wall outside of room 714. There were windows allowing us to look in and he was in bed watching tv while hooked up to an IV. Kai knocked on the open door and Jai noticed us and smiled.
"Please come in," he looked in good health compared to what he looked like on Sunday. We walked in and he was watching the first stage of the tournament. I didn't realize they were recording everything in the Labyrinth. "My father and the nurse won't be back for another two hours so you guys can stay till then," he smiled at us. Kai didn't say anything but instead replaced the flowers and the water.
"What did the doctors say?" Percy asked.
"A lot of my injuries are external and the only internal one was the muscle on my right front leg. Lucky for me my body doesn't like being injured long and heals rather quickly," Jai chuckled but in his refined tone.
"Glad to hear you're doing better," Corrode chimed in.
"I'm sorry I couldn't get you out of the way in time, but I do have a gift as compensation," Percy pulled out a small box and left it on the table next to Jai's bed.
"Thank you, I appreciate it," Jai looked at it. I didn't have much to say considering I'm not much of a friend of his, not like I dislike him but I don't think I have anything good to add to this tender moment. I noticed Kai was looking at Jai from afar as if he wanted to say something. Percy was looking at Jai with sympathy but beneath them seemed to be a piercing stare. Corrode isn't the best at making others feel better so he was watching the recording from the students competing in the labyrinth.
"Thank you all for coming, I appreciate you being here. Also, Kai after I want to take you out on a date when they discharge me," everyone was in awe when Jai asked out Kai so calmly. Kai was there by the flowers flustered and his cheeks turned pink compared to the bright orange they normally are. He looked so cute.
"Well, what's the answer buddy," Percy walked over and wrapped his arm around Kai. Seemed kind of patronizing.
"Well uh, I," Kai froze up after thinking about something. "Not us dating but us going on a date?" Kai asked. Still rosy red.
"Yes, but I hope in the end it would lead to us dating," Jai was so calm it was almost uncanny.
"Yes," Kai covered his face. Jai looked so happy that Kai accepted his date.
"The night of the dragon festival it will be you and me," Jai said confidently as if he had a plan. "However I'm getting a bit tired," Jai let out a yawn.
"Alright let's go," Corrode encouraged and we all made our way out the door. That was so cute, I can't wait to see this love bloom.
~Kai's~
(Vector to the Heavens - Kingdom Hearts)
The tournament is already underway and with sixty-four matches to do in one day, it's almost over. I won my match easily against a British guy named Markisan. He was a Galarian Rapidash and very lovely about combat. Though I'm still here at the stadium waiting for the matches to finish. Today was dedicated to the qualifier round as they put it before the actual bracket is created. Then tomorrow is the official round one.
"To those who are just tuning in we are almost done with the qualifier round of the second stage. After we get the top sixty-four students we will create the master bracket!" Tyler announced on his microphone.
"We only have two more matches and it is between rank twelve Monique Thetta a graceful Gardevoir vs Jinx Blaze an underhanded Scrafty preferred to be called Nix. To be honest, I'm partial to Nix," Axel sounded smug. It's funny he's one of my mentors. I sighed.
"Axel, we are supposed to be impartial," Tyler scolded. "The other match is between rank eighteen Resca Frost an aggressive Beartic and Rebecca Lance otherwise known as Ace," These matches were taking place simultaneously in two separate stadiums of the dozen we have. Of course, I went to watch my sister but it was more out of concern with that display in the labyrinth.
"We have one win and it's Rebbeca Lance beating an elite student meaning she has automatically joined the elite class!" Tyler and Axel Cheered. That's not surprising Resca isn't one to put in more effort than needed. Her family is fairly rich and she has had everything handed to her, sort of similar to my silver spoon life but I had to work hard to get what I wanted.
"Look at that she is consumed in that dark aura and look at the transformation now I've never seen that form of Scrafty!" Axel commented, amazed.
"With that finishing blow, Jinx Potter wins by beating an elite!" Tyler cheered. I'm glad she won, but that power isn't normal. She must have got the same thing as Zeek.
"With round one finished we have the sixty-four students to create the bracket!" Tyler cheered.
"There will be four different blocks and then the winners of the blocks will fight in the semi-finals and finals," Axel further explained. I turned my attention to the giant TV in the stadium.
"Let's not keep them waiting and show the tournament!" Tyler cheered and revealed the bracket on the screen. I couldn't see it on the TV so I pulled up my ORB screen. In A block I saw Pollon, Nexus, and Sydney. Not to mention Diego, a guy that was hunting me down in the Labyrinth. Ace was in B block and so was I and then I noticed my next opponent in the tournament was my own sister Nix. I'm not sure how I feel but this gives me a chance to see what's wrong. Making my way down in C block we have Corrode, Fang, and Percy. All very strong pokemon from the elite class. Then we also had Robin, another guy that was hunting me in the Labyrinth. It would seem no one that I associated myself with is in D block.
"Be prepared because tomorrow is Saturday and we are doing round one and two. Round one in the morning and round two in the evening. All students are now dismissed.
~Pollon's~
(Gentle Madman - P5R)
Did I say I hate social gatherings, 'cause I do. As a ritual for those who progress in school tournaments, it's a common thing for them to go out to this giant diner called 'The Lost Dragon'. They serve great burgers and pizza and is a common hangout amongst the students. Though I would normally not be caught dead here, especially during the tournament, guess who invited me out, Kai. Since it was his invitation I couldn't refuse. It was Kai, Corrode, Percy, and Sydney.
"You seem down in the dumps for someone who is still competing. Is it that bad to be facing Fang in the first round?" I asked in a sighed-like manner.
"No," Corroded let out a grumble. " I had ordered something to help me with fighting a while back and right now it's out of stock so I have to wait till the end of the semester to get my hands on it. Which means I won't be able to use it till next semester," Corrode seemed to be out of character with his mopping.
"Cheer up, you're a strong fighter without it and plus if you win your first match you'll be up against me in your second one," Percy tried to be positive.
"As much as I like strong opponents it's pokemon like you that make me need what I ordered," Corrode took a frustrated bite of his pizza. Sydney and Kai just laughed at the interaction. How can they be so carefree with everything going on right now? Especially Kai. His sister gained a weird power that a lot of the student body is getting and it's suspicious to me that this all started after Nix's fight with Ace. Ace has had a weird power for a long time so could she be the culprit? I guess I won't know.
"Maybe you should eat," a plate was pushed in front of me and I looked up to meet eyes with Nix.
"Oh," I paused. "Thanks," I turned to look down at my food. I forgot she was a waitress here. But for her to work tonight why? I guess for the tips. She then walked up to my ear.
"Don't worry about me because this power just brought out the real me," I then heard her chuckle as she left, leaving a chill up my spine.
"This isn't you, where is the real you? The one who would show me the world of night stars and sneak out at night with me. The one I shared my first kiss with," I then noticed her shift. I looked up and met with her gray lifeless eyes.
"Better ditch those memories cause Pollon is out of season this fall," I hate the reference she made and it left me frozen as Nix walked off. While I was frozen in shock I noticed Kai looking at me. I didn't bother to meet his eyes.
~Kai's~
(Tender Feeling - P3P)
I stayed out later than I had hoped at the Lost Dragon. I was the last of the group to leave. Most grabbed their coats white leaving, me being a fire type I didn't need one as I only wear a scarf. I watched the whole thing happen where Nix was diminishing Pollon and I could do nothing. I walked outside and it was flurrying a bit. I'm not surprised it is October 29th. Close to November 1st and my birthday. Weird how the tournament ends on my birthday. Wow, my birthday is close by and I nearly forgot and so is the festival of dragons in a little over two weeks. It starts on Monday, November 15th. We are given two weeks off with the festival being a week long and then Thanksgiving break. I started walking to go back to the doors and I saw Nexus and Fang under a lamppost. It was obvious what they were doing with Fang reaching up to match Nexus's height. With me in the shadows, I'm sure they didn't see me. However I felt jealous, the passion of their kiss and I could see the emotion behind it.
'Puffy, you know you mean a lot to me,' a child-like Axew giggled. A memory flashed in my head.
'What do you mean by that?' It was my voice. In the memory, the Axew walked up to me and planted a kiss on my forehead. 'Tusks, that is to be sacred between someone you love,' young me said in a panic. The Axew only laughed.
'What if you're someone I love?' The Axew was coy.
'Well love is between a man and a woman and we're both guys,' I tried to explain further.
'Who said that?' he asked.
'My dad,' the young Eevee sighed. The memory playing in my head faded. I guess I knew Nexus when I was younger but we both have changed and I guess he realized that. With him no longer pursuing me I should move on too. However, there is a part of me that wants him in my life for a long time. When I recognized my surroundings again I noticed Fang was gone and Nexus was still under the lamppost.
"It's funny how it all comes to this, I know everything I need to know," I was confused. Nexus started to monologue. " I know of you as a kid and you now and you are still the same at heart now if you stop masking yourself in the shell of misery your father draped on you. You can rekindle the flames with those around you. Until then I will wait because no matter what you will be the one I love," Did Nexus know I was there? He keeps doing that but his back was turned to me there is no way he could know I'm here. Was he talking about me, no, not possible? However, I felt something warm slide down my slightly cold cheeks. I got to feel my face and it was wet. Was I crying?
'You are slowly unlocking your power' I didn't pay attention to the voice this time.
Action: A bit on the short side but we got through what we needed to.
Kai: What are Nexus detection skills?
Nexus: That information is classified and irrelevant.
Corrode: Yeah, *Sigh* Keep saying that.
Sydney: Are we not about to talk about cold-hearted Nix?
Nix: Zip it!
Jai: Up next: The final stage of the Class Change Tournament is underway and round 1 and round 2 are explosive. Wish I could compete, but it seems two siblings are fighting it out. Not to mention the rest of our friends but tensions are rising in our cast as all of them hunger for something, but don't get it. What are we going to do? Let's see what happens next, Chapter fourteen: Heating Up. Only in ESA.
