Action: It's only coincidental, plus not my fault I like dragon types.

Nexus: Sure.

Action: Anyway recap.

Kai: Last time, the tournament was heating up and we're already in the semifinals. I got the match of my life by facing Ace in the quarter-finals and dealt with the problems of our relationship. Not to mention I have the greatest friends for treating me on my birthday, I could cry, you guys. Not to mention the birthday gift I got from the three awesome dragons. Let's not forget I'm in the middle of a semifinal match with Nexus and we both have been blessed with the power of Overseers.

~Nexus's~

(Battle - Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna The Golden Country)

"Seems like it's time to wrap this up," I smirked.

"Come at me!" I could see the look of determination on his face.

"Nexus has a new form too! This match is only fitting for the semifinals! I'll ask again who do you think will win? Nexus or Kai!" Jason cheered again with enthusiasm.

I took the first move as I want to test my new power. I realized my move, Counter got switched and why not use it? My ORB Screen came up and showed Kai was now fire and dragon type with his ability being contrary, so now the more he uses Superpower his attack and defense grow. Pretty cool. I then saw Kai fume with fire all around him and his muscles started to bulge, this must be Outrage, but I've never seen it like this. Kai flew at me again with unrelenting rage and I blocked with my tail as he tried to relentlessly attack me. It reminded me of my first time using Outrage. I was blinded with power and made sure to defeat my opponent before I could get fatigued.

"Stop blocking and attack me!" Kai growled. I could see the massive smile on his face.

"If you say so," I then whipped my tail around and swatted Kai back. The shards of metal went flying at Kai at high speeds. "Metal Burst!" My new counter move. Kai did his best to block with his wings but the sheer number of metal was too much. I took my chance and charged at him and let water form around my tail and aimed for where his left wing sprouted out of his back. With Outrage still in effect I was caught off guard that he caught my tail and launched me up in the air, but I wasn't scared he came at me again and headbutt me in the stomach. I didn't flinch and held him in place forcing us to fall. I then noticed his aura calming down.

"No, not yet I don't want to give up," I heard Kai whine. When we landed we both split up. We were at a standoff again.

"I'm ready to end this now," I said and Kai nodded. My jaw then grew a little and gleamed in a light blue and so did my ax tail. Kai looked as if he was losing his footing. He then came at me and was cloaked in stars. He then launched a ball of fire at me. I guess he didn't learn from earlier that I can cut his Fire Blast. Using my jaw I cut the Fire Blast and Kai was coming right at me. As he was coming at me I dodge to his left and sliced him with my tail. "Sorry, but I win Kai," I whispered as he fell flat on the stadium floor. Guillotine will always finish my battles. Kai was on the ground and his body reverted back to its normal form. I felt my body do the same.

"The winner of the first Semifinal match is Macalister Nexus!" Tailside announced. The crowd of students cheered. I was worried if Kai was okay.

"Kai, are you alright?" I asked. He moved so he was now on his back.

"I'm fine but completely exhausted after that match. I really thought I had you when I used Outrage," he laughed. Been a while since I heard his laughter free of his pain. Reminds me of when we were kids playing on the shores of Cyllage City.

"Sorry Puffy, but I won't lose," I decided to pick him up and walk him off the battlefield and to the nurse's office.

"What are you doing?" Kai asked with a stern look, but I could see the blush on his face as I carried him through the halls. He doesn't know how much I love him.

"Taking you to the nurse's office. You got beat up pretty bad during our fight," I said with a chuckle.

"You did too, so stop carrying me like some damsel," Kai complained.

"I would if you could actually stand," I mocked him and I saw the defeated look on his face as he blushed more. He was also heating up. We stayed silent the rest of the way there. The nurse examined both our injuries and instantly said we both should rest. Kai could rest naturally since he didn't have to compete tonight but I had to ingest this awful medicine. As I sat in the nurse's office there was a TV and it showed the match between Nebula and Percival started. Would Percival be the one giving everyone shadow crystals? It has to be after all everything leads back to him and Sydney. Why give out such power anyway? I was lost in thought as to what can be gained with the shadow power. The nurse kept tending to me making sure I would be healed for tonight.

I then heard "The winner of the second semifinal match is Percival Grimwater!" Tailside announced.

"Tonight's finals will be Macalister Nexus vs Percival Grimwater! Who will win?" Jason shared his excitement. I didn't doubt it, now to find out if he's the one behind these incidents.

~Percival's~

"Welcome back as we are now at the finals of the Class Change Tournament. I'm tonight's head announcer Michael Tailside and tonight I'm joined by," Tailsdie introduced himself.

"Tyler Loft, and what a tournament this has been. With many amazing fights we have two amazing fighters in the finals," Tyler commented. I was in my waiting room watching the live broadcast.

"Correct, tonight's fighters are both elite students," Tailside said.

"Let's have them enter the field, I'm sure they're ready to fight as we are to watch," Tyler cheered.

"Yes, first on the field we have Macalister Nexus! As he has shown exceptional strength and knowledge of other Pokemon. To strike in vital points to get critical hits. Not to mention he unleashed a secret weapon of a mega evolution during his last match. It wasn't on record that he could even mega-evolve," Tailside commented as Nexus made his way to the battlefield. Seems like it's my turn to make it to the battlefield.

"His opponent is Percival Grimwater!" Tyler cheered. When my name was announced I made sure to exit the battlefield. "He has shown exceptional use of his natural affinity for fire but weirdly enough he has an affinity for water. With the two together no one has been able to stop him, not even rank two Corrode Gaia!" Tyler announced my accomplishments so far.

"Who would have thought it would be you and me in the finals?" Nexus chuckled.

"I expected to make it here and I was wondering if I'd get the chance to fight you," I said with a smirk.

"Why's that?" Nexus asked.

"Out of all the elites you strike me as someone powerful," I said with my piercing gaze.

"Didn't you lose to Corrode in the Labyrinth?" Nexus asked as he chuckled.

"That was a fluke as I demolished him in the tournament," I sent a glare his way.

"Either way I think it's you who's been causing trouble lately with distributing this shadow power," Nexus accused me.

"Why think it's me," I gave him a confused look.

"I was in school that night when you fought Ace," interesting he's sharing that now.

"What of it? We had a fight," I shrugged.

"You did something to her that night because after she gained the word power and I asked her about it. All she could remember was your fight," Nexus sounded like he had it all figured out. I let out a sigh.

"If that's what you want to believe," I shrugged.

"Are both of you ready to fight?" The referee asked. He wasn't someone I knew, maybe a local.

"Yes," we both said.

"Then, 3 . . 2 . . 1, Battle Begin!" The referee announced.

(Keves Battle - Xenoblade Chronicles 3)

I took the first move and in the blink of an eye disappeared and reappeared in front of Nexus. To only disappear again and strike him at blazing speeds. After I was done I was sliding back to my initial position. Looking at Nexus he was unphased and I landed a critical hit. The power was boosted thanks to my Sniper ability.

"Look at that Nexus is completely unphased even with a critical hit from Extreme Speed," Tyler said with shock. I'm a bit shocked too.

"My turn," Nexus then moved and struck me in the right shoulder with his tail sending me sliding down the field. Damn, he hit me with Counter and made his own critical hit by hitting me in the joint.

"Damn, that really really hurt you know," I fake whined. He seemed unamused. "Not buying it could've guessed," I sighed. He then had a tail cloaked in water come at me, I countered by opening my mouth and unleashing a heavy stream of water causing a massive explosion of water to where it started to rain a bit.

"I didn't expect the water-type move you knew to be Hydro Pump," Nexus shared.

"Yeah, full of surprises right," I mocked as I continued our fight and used Extreme Speed again. Instead of using it as an attack, I started to play rough with him and tossed him aside. He retaliated quickly by stomping on the ground and it began to crack and parts of the battlefield started to stick out and attacked me.

"I will not make this fight easy for you," Nexus then flicked his new septum piercing and a white aura flared around him as he got trapped in a white cage. As his shell broke his new form was very defensive. It's as his strong scales got stronger armor on his chest and back. His arms got longer and at the end of his tail became an ax. His scales are now a deeper green.

"Now we're getting serious!" I started to feel riled up. No, not yet I can't switch yet. I ran across the now messed up battlefield and unleashed my Heat Wave as my ORB showed me he is now partially a steel type. He looked unphased again. I then had my screen change and it showed his weakness to be fighting and Ground, guess we have to do this the hard way. I used Extreme speed so I could confuse him but he was able to keep up and block my strikes. When I finished I realized what I had done. "Your ability is weak armor," I said, a bit surprised.

"Correct and you've been fueling it," Nexus taunted me. This can't be happening, but if I don't switch I'll lose.

'Percy if you use my power you won't have to switch,' I heard the voice of my Overseer in my head: Palkia. I don't know how to use your power

'Too late, I'm here and the name is Percival,' I growled at her mentally. My Overseer Paula Nami is worthless but having her power is nice. Seems little Percy can't handle Nexus here, seems like I'll squash our little dragon here.

"Nexus, nice to see you," I greeted him. "Like the new look," I taunted.

"What's with the shift in personality?" He seemed confused. Guess he caught that, but I don't need to expose our secret.

"Nothing, this is me after all the one you want who's all bad and evil," I chuckled. Nexus then came at me and I countered by unleashing Hydro Pump and water flew everywhere as Nexus was slicing through it using Guillotine. He cut through all of my water and then ade his way to me and I used Extreme Speed to get out of his way. He went crashing into some rocks. I took my chance and set the stage and Flames started to dance around the edge of the battlefield. I then focused and had a ring of water appear around me.

"Here it is his famous tactic of Flame and water control," Tyler announced.

"I bet you are excited since it is similar to your complete elemental control," Tailside remarked and they both chuckled.

"So I'm already in your trap," Nexus remarked. "Doesn't matter since I'll push you to the limit," Nexus unleashed a blast of metal shards at me and it was almost impossible to dodge. So I blocked it with a wall of water. It worked for the most part and then I got shot in my other shoulder.

"Damn that shit hurts, aiming for vitals," I complained.

"I bet it does," I then heard Nexus's voice from behind. I had little time to react as a tail of water swept me off my feet sending me tumbling into some rocks. I need to end this now and I have the best idea. I got up and made sure I had everything prepared.

"I'll give you what you want and say this I may be the one you're looking for, but pay attention to the personality next time you ask questions," I snickered as I activated the power of an Overseer by taping my bracer, however, a shadow aura surrounded me as I got trapped in my white cage. Mixing this dark power with my gift will ensure my victory. I grew a blue gem on my chest as my fur changed to completely black as it had blue streaks. The ends of my paws and tail were blue and I grew some small antlers. My shell broke and I was ready to fight.

(You Will Know Our Names, Finale (Full Mix) - Xenoblade Chronicles 3)A/N: Percival's theme second version

"This is my true power as a gift from the Gods. Now time for your salvation by beating you!" I started to laugh maniacally. My type is water fire with my ability as adaptability. Two orbs of water formed around me and I launched them at Nexus. He sliced through them as I thought he would. They split into four restraints and wrapped around his ankles and writs.

"This is new from Percival showing he has been hiding his power," Tailside announced. Shut up you dumb eevee, I thought.

"I won't be stopped by something like this," In the blink of an eye Nexus broke his water restraints using his tail. The water fell to the ground soaking into the battlefield. Then a burst of metal fragments went my way again, this time I used fire and water to block his attack and still not enough. He quickly came in and I saw his jaw and tail glowing in a light blue hue.

"I will not lose here!" I dodged his initial jaw attack and countered him with Hydro pump launching him and me back into some rocks.

"It seems like a stalemate even though from the start Percival seemed to have the advantage," Tyler commented. I'm ready to end this. I got up and this will be the last time I'm knocked down for this tournament.

"Nexus time for you to say goodnight," I saw him get up and he was covered in cuts and bruises from our fight. From all these attacks his speed is through the roof.

"It's not over," he retorted and darted towards the left.

"Too late," he then got trapped and encased in a bubble of water. The ring of fire around the battlefield then wrapped around him. "Welcome to your boiling prison," I laughed.

'Percival, don't!' I heard that weakling in my head. I shook my head as I continued to watch Nexus struggle for air in his water prison. I'm mad that weakling had something to say after I let him fight partially in this round after I did the work of bringing us to the finals. "Detonate!" I said as everything exploded and Nexus landed on the ground coughing and gasping for air. "Oceanic Flare, Diablo," I said my finishing move. Nexus was struggling as I made my way to him and I could see his will to fight but his body wouldn't let him as he changed back to normal.

"The winner of the final match is Percival Grimwater!" Tailside and Tyler announced.I decided to take my leave as I morphed back. Might as well let my little brother take control, there's no point in me being here.

~Milo's~

"I'd like to thank all the students who made this tournament exciting but it has now come to a close. I look forward to seeing how everyone will compete during the winter selection," I announced from the announcer box. About thirty minutes ago the final match ended and I had to go through some announcements.

"Yes, you all did well and now we have something to announce," Tyler added.

"That's correct, we have new ranks for the Elite class and some new students in the Elite class. Remember even if you didn't beat an Elite there is a possibility you became one after our evaluations," I cleared up any miscommunication that could have been said before.

"I'll start with the new rank sixteen through twenty students," Tyler said. "A new student in twentieth place is Robin Quill, welcome to the elite class," A Decidueye appeared on screen. "In nineteenth place is Jordan Wing," the Staraptor appeared on screen next to Robin and it showed he dropped from sixteenth place. "Eighteenth place we have again Resca Frost," she appeared to not change ranks at all. "Seventeenth place we have a new student Nix Potter. Even though she lost in the first round to Kai she showed exceptional skill throughout the tournament," my sister then appeared on screen. It's good to see her join me but why does it make me scared? "Lastly in sixteenth place we have Sarah Scream," the scary Banette girl dropped all the way from eighth to sixteenth. She lost early in the tournament to Ethan Mane.

"Next we have ranks fifteen through eleven," I said. "In fifteenth and fourteenth place is Fang Blister and Ethan Mane," both the Lycanroc and Rapidash appeared on screen. Both respectively falling from tenth and eleventh. " Thirteenth and twelfth place is Ren Ursa and a new student Ace Lance," I said as the Ursaring and Altaria appeared on screen. "Lastly eleventh place is Pollon Strife," The young Meowstic appeared on screen.

"Now for our top ten and I'll cover the ranks of tenth to sixth," Tyler announced. "In Tenth and ninth we have Esmerelda King and the new student joining is Diego Spirit," A Krookodile and Jolteon appeared on screen. "Eighth and seventh are Sydney Stone and after review from his doctor he is allowed to come back and due to it being a training injury he will be welcomed back in the elite class. This student is Jai Chesterfield," On screen was a Gogoat and a Pyroar. That was a hard decision since he didn't compete at all but it was unfair so we lowered his rank. "Lastly our rank six is Corrode Gaia," the poison dino appeared on screen. His rank really got lowered after his poor performance with Percival however I believe he will get stronger.

"Now we are at our new top five students. Ones I'm really proud of," I said with honesty. "Our new rank five is our previous rank three Cami Xeno," a Lucario appeared on screen. "Our new rank four has jumped up in ranks and that is Kai Blaze," a Flareon appeared on screen and I'm happy to say he is rank four and proud of his progress. "Next is our new rank three Nebula Carbuncle, she's managed to stay in the top five alongside Cami so far all semester," I said as Espeon appeared on screen. "After our final match it's obvious who our top two students are. Second place is Macalister Nexus," a Haxorus appeared on screen as I said his name. "Number one again is Percival Grimwater," the Arcanine appeared on screen. We announced the new elite class.

"These students will attend the elite class come November fifteenth, as that is when classes will continue," Tyler announced and you heard the whole crowd cheer.

"That does mean the Winter Selection is around the corner where we select which students who get to represent Evergreen in Galor in the youth division," I announced. "With that all of you are dismissed," our broadcast shut down. Finally it's all over and I think we are one step closer to our true goal.

"I think we found the last of the Aces today," Tyler said as he collected his things.

"I agree and now to set up a meeting at an appropriate time so we can explain what is at stake," I let out a sigh. "Why do all of you have to be so young?" I asked.

"Wow, you say we're young you turned twenty six during the summer festival and here I am about to be twenty in two weeks," Tyler gave me an annoyed look.

"Alright," I put up my hands in defense. "Let's go tell the other Aces of the news," I said and Tyler nodded as we made our way through the halls.

Action: Am I really on a roll with these chapters?

Kai: I guess. *Shrugs*

Nexus: I mean there are like under ten chapters left.

Zeek: What! I didn't get enough screen time though.

Jai: Neither have I.

Action: stop complaining. I have learned that when I produce a cast I can't introduce new characters that much and I have to push some of the characters I have as side characters.

Angel: Oh.

Angel: Up next: Everyone is on break and the festival of dragons is here. A special ritual for many dragon types and the locals. Kai and Nix went home for the break and their father is home, that can't be good. Not to mention Jai got discharged from the hospital and tries to court Kai.
