"Good morning."

"Mornin'."

A few weeks had passed since the fight with Bakugo, and new living situation. Senji had gotten mostly used to living with the MIdoriyas, and kept assuring Inko that it was temporary and that she didn't need to worry about feeding two students. The next school day's lecture with Aizawa was the worst one yet, with both her and Bakugo getting threatened with expulsion. Aizawa also asked about the job applications, making Senji narrowly dodge telling him her living situation. She didn't want to have to admit losing the apartment, and staying at Deku's already greatly reduced her nighttime activities.

The class had some questions, none of them a surprise. Senji didn't have the cash for an extra uniform, so just wore the summer shirt under an open hoodie. This got some side-eye from staff, but that was something she was already accustomed to. When asked about wearing the boys' uniform, Senji just made an excuse that skirts were embarrassing or something along that vein. Some of the girls, Mina especially, commented on how disappointing it was that Senji wasn't another hot guy because it was easier to talk to her than the others. That type of comment was a little more annoying for her.

"Oh, Izu-Deku. Tell your mom I'll be late. Interview today," Senji whispered to him before speeding up. They were nearing the school gate, and Senji worried that being seen walking to school with him might start more unwanted rumors. The class representative, Iida, gave Senji another warning on appearance that she brushed off. Little things like that had somehow landed her in the good graces of Bakugo's main squad. At least when they weren't directly with him. The school day passed like many others, with not much going on. Senji nodded off in class, taking a short break from filling out forms. There were some announcements about an upcoming sports festival, and Senji was given some special instructions by Aizawa. Then school was out, and Senji headed to her next destination.

The job was something about housekeeping while the owners were at work. Not through a firm or company or anything. Senji thought it was suspicious, but decided to check it out anyway. Couch surfing was not great for her back, and she felt like she was imposing hard on the Midoriyas. Senji pulled out her phone to check the address, standing outside a gated yard. She pushed through the gate, and paused at the door. She collected herself, then knocked and waited. The door was opened by a woman, who's appearance nearly sent Senji into a state of physical shock.

"Welcome in! Oh," the woman paused at Senji's pale face.

"U-um. Mrs…," Senji trailed off, and it finally clicked. "Mrs. Bakugo?"

"Oh! Yes, you can just call me Mitsuki though," the woman answered brightly, and ushered Senji into the house.

Standing back at the gate, someone else had just witnessed the realization dawn on Senji and had to pause. They were hidden behind the stone fence, feeling equally as awkward but with somewhat different reasoning.

"Dammit!"

Bakugo cursed under his breath for the situation he'd just created. He had felt somewhat bad after that fight, but this was crazy. When Senji ran off that day, and Aizawa had realized something was up, he was chewed out hard by his teacher. Not just for his attitude and starting a fight, but for letting his quirk loose in the classroom. He had to clean up the mess he'd made while the rest of the class was elsewhere for lessons. Other than scrubbing away any ash, and straightening desks, there was a bunch of paper scattered around. He picked it up in a rush and messily piled it up, not interested in the business of some extra. But he did happen to see what the forms were for. Jobs. And given the amount of them, things were tight. He went home that day and mulled some stuff over with his family. Something else he regretted immediately, but he got a form and slipped it in with the rest on one occasion that Senji had fallen asleep. He'd done that, because he felt guilty, but he didn't expect this to be the job they landed. Things were about to get way more awkward.

While he had been thinking about that, outside, the interview had concluded and Senji reluctantly accepted the job. The pay was pretty good, and it wasn't going to be hard work. The location was extremely not ideal though.

"See you Sunday!," Mitsuki Bakugo called from the door as Senji left. She waved back and rushed out the gate. Bakugo jolted to attention and froze, thankfully going unnoticed by his classmate as she rushed away. He contemplated ditching his house for the rest of the day, but he was till in his uniform. Unfortunately for him, Senji had left the gate open and Mrs. Bakugo walked out to close it. There she spotted her noisy son.

"You can come in, Katsuki," she wrapped her arm around his neck and dragged him inside. "Your classmate sure is a looker, huh?"

"Shut up!"

Bakugo broke free and stomped upstairs to his room. It was going to tick her off, but it was better than adding anymore fuel to her weird ideas.
