Chapter 7: D is not for Defeat (1/2)
Yesterday at Midnight:
"And that's what happened."
After a four days journey under some heavy rain, Senju Seiryu, Uzumaki Karin and Jiraiya finally reached Konohagakure. They immediately made their way to the Hokage's office in order to report what happened, pretty much explaining what had been going on in Kusagakure. The Third Hokage was visibly disgusted by the actions of the Village Hidden in the Grass.
"For starters, allow me to give you my condolences Karin." That was the first thing that the Hokage said to the girl that was standing next to Seiryu while holding his hand. "No one deserves to be put through this horrible type of exploitation in the way you and your mother were."
"Thank you." Karin responded.
"Are we supposed to expect some retaliation?" Seiryu asked, and that immediately made Karin look at him in worry.
"I don't think so, Kusagakure wouldn't be foolish to challenge our village or demand compensation for the destruction you caused, and if by some chance they do, they would simply drop them as soon as your identities are revealed." The fact Kusagakure got into a confrontation with one of the Sannin and the heir of the Senju Clan while using and abusing someone that is connected to the Senju Clan should be enough to instill fear in them and cause them to lay low for a long time. "But... Was blowing their hospital up really necessary?" Hiruzen had to ask.
"No, but they barely used that hospital anyway since they were content with simply exploiting Karin's unique ability." Seiryu spoke and there was still some disgust in his voice.
"I see," The Hokage smoked his pipe before continuing. "It is indeed an unique ability but the Uzumaki Clan were known for their unique chakra." The old man pointed out.
"Grandpa, I have a request for you." Seiryu immediately spoke up after the Hokage said that.
"What is it?" Hiruzen asked in curiosity.
"I need you to promise that you won't tell anyone about Karin's ability." Seiryu requested his parents' sensei. "Besides me, the people of Kusagakure, father and now you, no one else knows about Karin's ability and I want to keep it that way."
Hmmmm... I can't say I blame Seiryu as that unique ability could indeed be dangerous if it falls into the wrong hands, Kusagakure simply exploited it in order to make their jobs easy but there are very sinister people that could use it for something even more depraved. Hiruzen seriously considered Seiryu's request. I honestly have no intention or the desire to exploit this poor girl the same way Kusagakure did, but there are certain people in the village that would use such abilities for their own gain. He already knew someone that would love to get his hands on this girl. "You have my word." He said with no hesitation.
"Thank you." Seiryu bowed respectfully to the Hokage in gratitude.
"Thank you as well..." Karin decided to imitate Seiryu's gesture.
Jiraiya, who was standing behind them, then moved forward. "Brat, it's been a long trip, why don't you go back to the apartament and try to get some rest." His father suggested as he messed Seiryu's hair. "I have some business to discuss with the old man."
"Sure," Seiryu decided to accept his father's suggestion. "Come on, I'll show you your new home."
"Ummm... Wait a second?" The Hokage called their attention after he said that. "Will she be living in your apartment?"
WAIT?! REALLY?! Karin only figured that out at that moment, that she and Seiryu would be living in the same home. And that scenario pretty much caused Karin to have several impure thoughts about the many possibilities of what could happen between the two under the same roof. And she ended up making a very perverted smile that Seiryu was too distracted to notice.
"Yes, is that a problem?" Seiryu asked in confusion.
"Well, not exactly, but I don't think it would be very appropriate." Hiruzen tried to argue against it.
OH SHUT UP! I WANT IT TO BE INAPPROPRIATE! Karin spoke internally as she really wanted the old man to stop talking as the countless fantasies that she was having would be ruined.
"Ummm... Do you have anything against it?" Seiryu asked his cousin about it.
NO! I ACTUALLY WANT YOU TO PICK ME UP AND CARRY ME INTO YOUR HOME RIGHT NOW! Karin thought in deep anxiousness. "I... Would feel safer staying with you..." She decided to say it. PREFERABLY IN YOUR BED!
Senju Seiryu simply smiled and wrapped his arm around her neck. "So, it's decided then." The boy with white hair stated. "Want me to buy you some dinner?" He asked his father.
"Yes." His father accepted the offer.
Seiryu simply nodded before he signalled Karin to walk with him in order to lead her into his home. "Tomorrow, I'll take you to do some shopping since we couldn't bring anything with us."
"Really?" She asked as the two closed the door behind them.
Jiraiya simply sighed once his son left the room. "Sorry, old man..." He apologized for his foolish mistake in regards to the clue about Kushina.
"Don't be, it's not like we could have predicted that there was another member of the Uzumaki Clan around." Hiruzen immediately reassured Jiraiya. "And also, you and Seiryu really helped that poor girl, you should really be proud of that."
"Nah," Jiraiya waved it off. "That was all the brat, I only went along with it." It was true, Jiraiya would have probably just left the village after realizing his mistake and wouldn't have investigated further like Seiryu did if it was just him. "I am proud of him though, he did save that girl from a miserable existence. ." He admitted and despite a few things here and there that he wished it turned out differently, like Seiryu needlessly blowing up their hospital out of spite. Sadly, Seiryu inherited his mother's rage but he has a light-hearted attitude towards things which gives him a much better temper.
"Agreed." Hiruzen inhaled and then exhaled the smoke from his pipe. "But there is still the matter of the person that was sent to assassinate Seiryu."
"I have theory, and I'm pretty sure it's the same one you got right now." Jiraiya spoke while folding his arms.
"Yes..."
Present:
Soft snores were coming out of the Senju Heir's lips as he slept peacefully on top of his bed as the sun rose up in the sky. His father, after a long conversation with the Hokage, came home and slept on top of the couch where he was snoring slightly louder than Seiryu. His cousin was supposed to be sleeping in a futon that he placed next to his bed but instead she snuck inside Seiryu's bed after he fell asleep and slept hugging him tightly after sniffing the top of his pajamas for five minutes straight.
Eventually, Seiryu opened his dark eyes and noticed that it was morning already. Ahh... Five more minutes... He thought before he rolled to the side and wrapped his arms around his cousin. You only had to ask, Karin. He actually saw her snucking into his bed but said nothing since he enjoyed her embrace.
Sadly, Seiryu's five more minutes were cut short by a knock on the door. "Ahhh..." A very soft grunt came out of his lips as he was forced to break free from his cousin's embrace in order to answer the door. But as soon as he sat up on the bed and removed the blanket from himself, he ended up removing it from Karin as well. Moving his head to the side to look at his cousin, the boy with white hair sadly caught the sight of something that made him upset. Karin had no pajamas or sleeping outfit, so Seiryu simply gave her one of his shirts, she was only wearing a white T-shirt and red panties. The sight that upset him were Karin's legs, lovely legs that were covered in bite marks. Never again... He vowed as he gently caressed his cousin's legs.
"Mmmm..." Strangely, Karin let out a very strange moan after Seiryu caressed her leg, which didn't escape his attention. "That's too much..soap.." The boy made a confused face after hearing what the girl beside him just said. "Let me wash your back... cousin..." Suddenly, a very perverted smile that almost surpassed his father appeared on Karin's face.
Is she dreaming that we're bathing together... Seiryu thought it was the only thing that made sense. I mean, I certainly wouldn't mind doing that with her but... He was seriously considering the possibility as he kept caressing his cousin's leg.
But his attention went back to the knocking on the door, so Seiryu put his perverted thoughts to the side and stood up from his bed, he covered his cousin with the blanket and moved to answer the door. Scratching the back of his head as he passes through his father, who was snoring on the couch, before he finally reached the door. Once he opened it, he realized that it was his Hatake Kakashi, his Jōnin Sensei.
"Sensei?" Seiryu rubbed his eyes in confusion as he stood there, on the other side of the door frame with a look that looked as lazy as his. "What are you doing here?"
"The Hokage told me you were back at the village and I decided to come check on you." The Copy Ninja informed him. "I agreed to meet Sasuke and Hinata in front of the Hokage's office in order to collect the day's missions and since he told me you were back at the village."
"Oh, thank you and sorry for the inconvenience." Seiryu thanked his Sensei in response, but he simply waved off. "Did I miss anything important?" He decided to ask.
"Just a bunch of D-rank missions that aren't really worth mentioning." Kakashi informed him. "And we will have a few more today."
"Okay," Seiryu understood, D-rank missions are the lowest classification a mission can receive. These missions are usually assigned to genin and by what Seiryu heard about it, they're not actually missions as they deal with tasks as simple as finding missing pets and weeding a garden. "Would you like to have some breakfast before we go?" He invited the older Jōnin.
"Hmm..." Kakashi contemplated refusing, but he didn't really have breakfast since he needed to visit the market first, so he ended up accepting it. "Sure."
After eating some breakfast with Kakashi, he left a note to his sleeping father and cousin that he went to meet with his team. Once he was done, he was done with the day's tasks he would probably take Karin out to do some shopping. But at the moment, he was simply walking alongside him towards the Hokage's office. Noticing a few people staring at them as the two passed through the streets, apparently, it's because the whole village has become officially aware of him after his temporary departure and the wandering eyes were a result of that.
Seiryu doesn't really mind, as long as it doesn't become an annoyance later on. Though, he wonders how the other villages will react when it's revealed that the Senju Clan has an heir now. Some will definitely feel threatened, especially if Kusagakure reveals what he did to them due to the clear indication that he inherited Senju Tobirama 's legendary water release. The Senju Heir actually finds it ironic, since the Water Release is only his second best ability, but he promised to keep the first one a secret and he plans to keep his promise.
Eventually, they arrived at the Hokage's office and slowly made their way inside. There they saw both Sasuke and Hinata waiting for the two of them. Sasuke was leaning on the wall with his arms folded and gave him an analytical look once he saw him. Hinata was shyly standing thare and let out an even shyer smile when she saw Seiryu.
He's finally back from that secret mission. Sasuke thought as he was informed that Seiryu left the village with his father on a secret mission.
I'm glad Seiryu is back." Hinata thought as she actually missed Seiryu since Sasuke kind of intimidated her.
"Hey," Seiryu greeted his teammates. "I hope we didn't keep you two waiting."
"It's good to s-see you." Hinata immediately greeted him in return while Sasuke basically just gave him his usual stare.
"Likewise," He replied before wrapping his arm around Hinata's shoulders, causing the girl to blush in response. "Come on, we should not keep the Hokage waiting."
"Anything else?" Seiryu asked the Third Hokage.
"No, all done for the day." Hiruzen replied while smoking his pipe.
For the last six hours, Team Seven basically did every single D-Rank mission available for the day. Mostly because Seiryu took all of them at once and made a bunch of shadow clones to actually accomplish them all at once. Hiruzen actually had an urge to criticize for taking such a shortcut but decided against it as it made the paperwork easier, Kakashi also saw no problem in it as it was actually a very good way to perform multiple tasks, alongside the act of giving out the tasks that his teammates were more comfortable in doing. Like Sasuke retrieving a missing dog or Hinata helping an old lady do tend to her garden. Honestly, Seiryu found most of the tasks to be just annoying chores, but he understands that it's the standard thing that every single genin has to go through.
"Well then, see ya." Seiryu waved the hokage off and made his way towards the door.
"Are you in a hurry for something?" Kakashi asked as he read his Icha Icha book in the middle of the room, apparently not really caring what Seiryu was doing.
"I promised my cousin that I would take her shopping today." That didn't really escape his teammate's notice.
Wait a second? A cousin, there's another Senju in the village? Sasuke thought after hearing about that.
Hinata was a little surprised since Seiryu didn't really mention that he had a cousin.
Kakashi didn't react to it, since the Hokage already informed him that Seiryu came back with a girl that belongs to the Uzumaki Clan and that Seiryu acknowledged her as his cousin. "It's the redhead girl that was sleeping on your bed this morning isn't it?"
That surprised his teammates even more and it surprised the Hokage as well.
O-okay, the chances of these two being actually cousins is pretty small but, that was really fast, Seiryu. Hiruzen thought in shock and amazement of how his surrogate grandson already took things this far with a girl that he knew for less than a week.
Disgusting... Sasuke thought in disgust, despite already knowing that Seiryu was some type of womanizer, to do this kind of thing with his own cousin was simply repulsive to him.
W-with your c-cousin? Hinata thought in deep surprise and a little bit of envy.
"Yes, her name is Uzumaki Karin and before you ask, she was not on my bed when I went to sleep last night." Seiryu decided to clarify before anyone gets the wrong idea. But, I certainly wouldn't complain if she would like to sleep with me again...
Hinata sighed in relief. Of course, Seiryu wouldn't do such a thing.
Sasuke simply made a quiet grunt. You are still a womanizing scum.
Hiruzen inhaled the smoke from his pipe and exhaled. I guess that girl is the fast one.
"Would you two like to meet her?" Seiryu asked his teammates. "She'll be living with me from now on?"
"Ummm... S-sure." Hinata decided to accept.
"I don't have time for this." Sasuke spoke coldly before he made his way towards the door.
"Whatever." Seiryu responded.
But, Kakashi sensing an opportunity there, decided to step in. "Excuse me for asking but..." Hiruzen actually gave me some details about Seiryu's meeting with Karin. "Why are you going to take her shopping?"
"Oh, I ended up setting her house on fire during my fight against the guy that was trying to assassinate me?" Saying that surprised both Hinata and Sasuke. And it caused Sasuke to stop in front of the exit.
What? Guy that was trying to assassinate him?" It was Sasuke's reaction to it.
"A-are you okay?" Hinata asked in concern.
"I got hit a few times but it was nothing that I couldn't take." Seiryu assured Hinata, before wrapping his arm around her shoulders once again. "Let's get moving, I'll tell you everything about it on the way."
Hinata blushed once again. "O-okay..." She agreed with him.
Sasuke, who still didn't care about this cousin of his, ultimately decided to go with them. Purely to hear more about this assassination attempt due to an interest on how he dispatched the assassin.
Seiryu mostly ignored him though and simply started to tell Hinata about it. "It all started when I broke into a hospital..." He started to tell her as he passed through the door with Sasuke following behind them. Leaving both Kakashi and the Hokage by themselves.
"This should be interesting..." Kakashi commented as he went back to his book.
"It depends on what you define as interesting..." Hiruzen also commented as he enjoyed his smoke.
"Karin, these are my teammates, Uchiha Sasuke and Hyūga Hinata." Senju Seiryu introduced his teammates to his cousin. "Sasuke and Hinata, this is my cousin, Uzumaki Karin." Then he introduced his cousin to his teammates.
"Umm... Good to meet you two." Karin awkwardly greeted them with a bow.
"L-likewise." Hinata bowed in return.
Sasuke simply moved his head to respond.
The four of them were currently standing outside of Seiryu's apartment. Karin was actually waiting for him as he wrote on the note that he left that he would take her shopping when they returned.
She seems nice. Hinata thought as she sees Seiryu's cousin.
There's something off about this girl... Sasuke thought as he saw the girl wearing glasses.
This guy is almost as handsome as Seiryu, but my cousin has no equal. The redhead girl thought as she hugged Seiryu's arm but she sensed an strange and alluring chakra coming from Sasuke, but it was nothing compared to Seiryu's. "Thanks for preparing breakfast for me." She thanked him while smiling at him.
"I'm glad you like it." He told her with a smile. "Ummm... Where is my father?" He asked her as he didn't see him inside.
"He said something about... Doing research." She responded.
Of course he did... By research, he meant spying on women without their knowledge. Whatever... He wrapped his arm around his cousin. "Come on, let's go get everything you need to make yourself at home." Seiryu announced. He also signaled Sasuke and Hinata to come along.
Hinata went along because she wanted to spend time with Seiryu, while Sasuke just wanted to try to uncover more about Seiryu's overall abilities.
So the four of them walked together throughout the village, which allowed Karin to get a good look at her new home. And so far, the redhead girl loved every inch of it. Because Konohagakure was so much more bright and lively than Kusagakure, with an air of pleasantness that was ten times better than the air of gloom that she had to experience daily. The people there also seemed pleasant, mostly due to the fact that they don't give her the outsider look that she has grown so used to receiving.
Walking down the street, Seiryu, Hinata and Sasuke caught the sight of another trio. It was his other friends at Team 10, with Chōji, Shikamaru and Ino, walking besides one another without the presence of their sensei. As they approached, Seiryu decided to greet them.
"Hey," The boy with white hair greeted them. "Good to see you."
"Hey." Shikamaru lazily greeted him.
"Hi." Chõji waved at him.
"Who is she?" Ino didn't even bother to greet him back, she simply asked who the redhead girl that he was hugging was. I never saw her before, and when did he get so close to her? Wait, why do I care!? it's none of my business! I should be speaking to Sasuke instead! Ino thought in a strange jealousy that she didn't know why she was feeling it.
"Oh, ummm... Ino,Shikamaru and Chõji, this is my cousin, Uzumaki Karin." He introduced Karin to them. "Karin, these are my other friends, Ino, Shikamaru and Chõji." Then he introduced the trio while pointing at each of them.
"Hello..." Karin waved at them after the introduction. Damn, Seiryu has a lot of friends... Well, he is very pleasant to be around, so it's understandable.
"Hi..." Shikamaru seemed to be ready to fall asleep at any second.
"Good to meet you." Chõji greeted her with enthusiasm.
Oh, she's his cousin... That explains it... Whatever, I don't care anyway. "It's good to meet you, Karin." Ino decided to shake her hand politely.
"Likewise." She's so pretty. Karin was a bit jealous of the girl who's hand she was shaking, mostly because in a way, she was quite unkempt in comparison.
"Where are you guys going?" I bet all of the money that I made today from the missions that they are going to the Yakiniku Q because of Chõji. Seiryu thought so because it was obvious to him.
"Yakiniku Q." Chõji predictably responded to his question with the answer that he expected.
"Where are you guys going?" Ino asked them in curiosity.
"Well, Karin moved to the village yesterday but some of her... belongings got destroyed," By me accidentally. "So I'm taking her to do some shopping."
"Mmmmm..." Now that Seiryu mentioned, she was saving some money to buy a new pair of boots. "I think I'm gonna do some shopping as well." Ino announced after she got reminded.
"If that's the case, do you know some stores that we can go to?" Seiryu asked the blond girl, as his knowledge was limited.
"Sure." Ino actually concluded an evil plan. Maybe I can get him to buy some stuff for me as well. That plan wasn't without its merit since Seiryu bought expensive earrings for her not long ago.
"But, Gyūtan!" Chõji immediately complained as they were on their way to the restaurant.
"Oh, suck it up, Chõji!" Ino was quick to reply to Chõji as his teammate glutomy annoyed her.
"Why are they taking so long?" Chõji complained as he ate a bag of potato chips.
The four boys were currently standing outside of a store, waiting for Ino, Hinata and Karin to come out from it. Sasuke was leaning against the wall, looking extremely annoyed at the situation. While Seiryu, Shikamaru and Chõji were all sitting on a bench. Shikamaru was actually taking a nap there, while Seiryu was leaning there comfortably and Chõji was anxiously eating his chips as he really wanted to go eat Gyūtan at Yakiniku Q.
"They might take a while..." Seiryu thought as he actually offered to pay for whatever the girls wanted to buy, mostly as a thank you for helping Karin choose. I don't think she had any friends back at that stupid village, so, yeah... He thought in a slight annoyance as he still can't get over what the Village Hidden in the Grass did with his cousin. If this gives them a chance to bond over something, I don't mind. Besides, I have more than enough money anyway. Seiryu gets a bit of the income from his father's books and he has a lot of money that he saved from the times that his mother took him to gamble with her.
But, the wait seemed to be agonizing to his fat friend. Shikamaru was simply enjoying his nap and will probably get annoyed when someone wakes him up and Sasuke didn't even know why he was still there as he didn't manage to get any useful information about Seiryu's assassination attempt. Mostly because Seiryu let out a lot of details in order to not frighten Hinata with the amount of damage he took in the fight. But he has no regret of how things ended, he got Karin out of that village and because he was able to get the Rasengan right.
Speaking of which, let's see... Seiryu extended his hand forward and formed the Rasenganjust to see if it would come out right.
"HUH!" It was Sasuke's immediate reaction as he sees Seiryu performing the Rasenganwithout knowing what it is. What is that?! That was his main question as he saw the spinning ball of chakra that Seiryu formed and then held in the palm of his hand.
Chõji widened his eyes when he saw it and just looked at the Rasenganas he finished his bag of chips.
Before anyone could say anything about that, Seiryu simply dispersed the Rasengan, because he saw someone familiar coming.
"Hi Sasuke!" Suddenly, and out of nowhere, Haruno Sakura appeared without them noticing and immediately greeted Sasuke, who was too busy processing what he just saw Seiryu do. "What a coincidence!" She said enthusiastically.
Not this stupid girl again. Sasuke thought in deep annoyance. What was that thing that he just did?! That was the only thing in Sasuke's mind at the moment, despite the pink-haired girl swooning over him.
"Hey, Kiba..." Suddenly, Inuzuka Kiba approached the group as well with Akamaru following him from the side. "Good to see you." Seiryu said to his dog loving friend.
"Hey," Kiba greeted him in return. "Where have you been?" He asked as Akamaru approached him and climbed on his lap with Seiryu immediately caressing the dog afterwards.
"Woof! Woof!" Akamaru barked happily as Seiryu caressed him.
"Long story short, I just went with my father to pick up my distant cousin to come live with me in the village." Seiryu answered his question as he saw Kiba and Sakura's teammate Aburame Shino approaching from behind. Seiryu didn't know much about him, but he knew a few things about his clan, like the fact that, at birth, members of his clan are offered to several special breeds of insects as a nest, residing just under their host's skin. These insects will then live in symbiosis with their host from that point on. Because of this, its members are characterised by their use of insects as weapons. Which is something that Seiryu finds very fascinating. "Ino and Hinata are all shopping with her right now and we're just waiting for them, so we can all go to Yakiniku Q." Saying that caused Chõji to look even more anxious as his bag of chips was empty.
I wonder if she's cute. Kiba wondered as he was now curious.
"Hey, Sasuke, are you going with them to the restaurant?" Sakura asked him with a smile. IF I HAVE TO PUT UP WITH ALL THEM TO BE NEXT TO MY SASUKE, SO BE IT! Inner Sakura thought in deep annoyance as she was longing for some alone time with Sasuke.
I have to discover what that spinning ball of chakra that he created was. Sasuke gave a very easy to miss nod to answer the fangirl, mostly because he was hoping that she'll stop talking.
But, it didn't work. "Oh, that's great, so we can all go together then." IF ANY OF THOSE IDIOTS DARE TO STEAL MY PLACE NEXT TO MY SASUKE. Inner Sakura thought.
"Ahhhh... Why not?" Seiryu was the one that responded to that. "You guys wanna come along?" He asked Kiba and Shino.
"Totally." Kiba immediately agreed since it meant free food.
"Woof! Woof!" Akamaru barked happily in response.
Shino simply gave a quiet nod in response.
After half an hour waiting for the girls to get back from their shopping, carrying a considerable amount of bags paid with Seiryu's money. Not that he minded since Karin clearly had fun and so did Hinata. But he also noticed that Ino had more bags than the other girls, though, Seiryu chose to just ignore it.
Once they were done shopping, the gang made their way to Yakiniku Q. Where Seiryu ordered a large portion Gyūtan to satisfy his fat friend's hunger.
"Then we had to climb the entire building to retrieve that old man's wig." Currently, Ino was telling everyone about the hilarious mission that they had to undertake that involved the recovery of someone's wig.
Kiba bursted into laughter in response to the story.
Seiryu laughed a bit as well.
Shikamaru just grunted as the entire experience was very troublesome.
Shino made a sound that somewhat resembles a small laughter.
Hinata covered her mouth to not laugh.
Chõji barely paid attention to their reactions since he was busy devouring the delicious Gyūtan.
Karin laughed loudly in response.
Sasuke hardly reacted to that, but he genuinely thinks that the story is beyond ridiculous.
Sakura didn't even paid any attention to Ino's, since she was busy swooning over Sasuke.
"Okay, okay... Did this guy seriously paid for you guys to recover his wig, three times?!" Kiba asked in deep curiosity.
"Yes," Shikamaru confirmed before he drank a glass of water. "I'm pretty sure someone is hiding his wig on purpose."
Kiba just laughed even harder.
Seiryu then eat a bit of Gyūtan, before he moved his head to look at his cousin. Who was sitting besides him, laughing at the story the Ino was telling them. She has adorable smile... The boy with white hair thought as he observed his cousin's happiness. Karin then noticed that Seiryu was staring at her, and she immediately smiled at him before resting her head on his shoulder.
They seem really close... Hinata thought as she observed them. For some reason however, that makes her think about her relationship with her own cousin.
"I knew it!" Out of nowhere, someone approached their table and yelled something, calling everyone's attention. As soon as Seiryu moved turned around to see who it was, he immediately recognized who it was. "If I only knew that my opponent was a member of the legendary Senju Clan, I would have shown more respect." The one that was talking to Seiryu, was none other than Rock Lee, the boy whom he had a friendly sparring match against during his first day in the village.
"Hey, it's good to see you again." Seiryu stood up to greet the boy with bushy eyebrows. "I never got the chance to apologize for leaving so abruptly during our friendly fight." Or apologize that his shadow clone dispersed at that moment.
"I accept your apologize, but I could have kept going." Lee was quick to assert. "This why I must request th-"
"Lee!?" Suddenly, another voice was heard by everyone. Until another familiar face approached the table. "What are yo-" She was trying to talk to Lee but stopped as soon as she saw Seiryu.
"Hello, Tenten." Seiryu greeted the blacksmith daughter that helped him the other day.
Tenten instantly pushed Lee to the side in order to speak to Seiryu. "Is it truth that you're the son of Senju Tsunade?!"
"Yes," He confirmed to her with a thumbs up. "Senju Seiryu at your disposal."
"I can't believe it, this might sound strange but would you introduce me to your mother someday?" Tenten requested him. "I'm a huge fan of hers." She has read everything that she could find about the Slug Princess.
"She'll actually come to the village after she finishes the business that she's taking care of elsewhere." Seiryu informed to her. "When she arrives, I can introduce her to you."
"Thank you!" Tenten enthusiastically thanked Seiryu before she hugged him.
"Thank me after I introduce her to you." He added before returning the hug. Unknowingly to the Senju Heir, three girls were eyeing that hug with different expressions and thoughts.
Who is she?! Karin thought in a slight hostile look.
Ummm... They seemed close... Hinata thought in a worried expression.
Isn't that hug a little too long? Ino thought as she slaps Chõji's hand when he tried to steal the meat from her plate.
While Seiryu and Tenten were hugging each other, a third person approached the table. Hinata widened her eyes as she knew who the third person was. The third person made a slight hostile look. "What exactly are you doing, Tenten?" He asked the girl with buns.
Moving his head to see who it was, Seiryu saw a boy with fair skin and long black hair, he has featureless white eyes that are identical to Hinata's. He was wearing a beige-coloured shirt, a dull blue shirt beneath that, and mesh armour beneath that. He wore dark brown shorts, blue shinobi sandals, and wrapped bandages around his right arm, chest, and right leg. He tied his hair back in a loose ponytail tied a few inches above the end. He wore a black forehead protector, under which was a smaller headband with two straps that frame the sides of his face.
"I'm just thanking him." Tenten answered his question before separating herself from Seiryu.
The guy didn't seem to care about Tenten's answer and simply stared at Seiryu. "Who are you?" He asked Seiryu.
Lee, who was standing besides him, stepped forward to answer. "This is Senju Seiryu, member of the legendary Senju Clan." He introduced Seiryu to him.
So , this is the heir of the Senju Clan. That was the thought that came into his mind after the introduction.
"This is our teammate, Hyūga Neji." Lee then introduced the guy to Seiryu, though, he already predicted that he was a member of the Hyūga Clan.
"Oh, you're Hinata's cousin." Seiryu remembered that Hinata once mentioned that she had a cousin named Neji. "Good to meet you." He extended his hand to his teammate cousin.
But Neji simply stood there, giving him a cold and analytical stare. That everyone else also noticed.
This guy is creepy. Karin thought as she noticed the heavy atmosphere surrounding them.
He's going to try something. Sasuke could tell just by looking at him.
Hinata started to shake and sweat a bit as she knows that look that her cousin was giving Seiryu.
Everyone else was just waiting for something to happen as they observe the two standing in front of each other. Well, everyone except for Sakura, who was too busy admiring Sasuke, and Chõji, who was too busy stealing from everyone else's plate.
Instead of shaking Seiryu's hand, Hyūga Neji instead pointed at his face and said. "I challenge you to fight against me, Senju Seiryu."

"WHAT?!" Ironically, everyone but Seiryu reacted with that question.

Heck he could also have a Jutsu that mimics the move used by Admiral Green Bull chapter 1054 of one piece the groves of wrath
But yeah when it comes to Sensei's feel like Seiryu could get away with just his parents, Kakashi if he does his job as a actual teacher better and Kushina to teach him more about seals

In other words when he uses it and the markings spread and all he is fully in control of himself and just thinks while still annoyed at least the seal has some upside but he isn't influenced by it
I also hope he just turns the curse mark into something that can gather and hold Senjustu chakra for him as he learns to enter the form at will on his own and one day he removes the seal once he feels like it no longer has any benefits towards himself

Scratching my head though when Seiryu thought how he just left Gen there after he beat him but in the state he was in he should have died from his injuries not long after so Seiryu killing him would only have ended him a few minutes earlier
Anyway liked how Seiryu dealt with the Grass ninja that turned up after he reunited with Jiraiya and Karin and after dealing with Zosui liked that Karin got the chance to vent
Ending off on such a sweet moment with Karin with him getting that photo of her and her mom while also destroying the hospital beautiful haha
Now that preview with Hinata was also great only it would have been made perfect if for one they had no clothing on and Seiryu was fucking Hinata outright haha still getting teased with what seemed to be the start of the first sex scene with Hinata was good even as a tease

Since Seiryu hasn't signed either the Toad or Slug contracts that came as a surprise but glad you liked the idea of his summons addressing him as Boss and young master as for if he'd have to get permission to sign two contracts um I don't think he'd have to get permission to sign another summon contract I mean it be one thing if the contracts he signed for example where the snake and toad summons since they two summon groupsat best dislike each other but this is slugs and toads no issue there
Plus if summons did make a fuss about someone being contracted to them as well as another summon animal then I'm sure the snakes would have broken the contract with Sasuke after he signed a contract or whatever with the Hawk summons
Still not to keen on the seven swords being forged together even if Tenten's dad was the apprentice of the guy who made the swords I mean personally I always got the impression that the swords are all pretty old considering their reverence in the mist village like they are from back in the clan wars days and I still maintain the idea that Samehada for example would sooner eat Tenten's father than let him work with it
Okay I think at best then Asuma would have like two techniques to teach Seiryu then that ash Jutsu of his and the thousand arm one but still maintain any other lesson he could teach Jiraiya, Tsunade and Kakashi could do or have already done better and like Kurenai's lessons they could be handled "off screen"
Like I said, his skills weren't exactly explored so I took some liberties.
Jiraiya's Taijutsu is considerable, but he's more focused in teaching Ninjutsu to Seiyru. Making your own technique isn't exactly a easy task and Seiyru lacks the combat experience to do so. {Tsunade has loads of combat experience, which is why her brawler style is so effective.}
He will later get obsessed with blending the Rasengan with the Nature Transformation and even create an ultimate Rasengan {That will resemble what the Rasengan was based from.}
