AUTHOR NOTE

This is set in Hermione's sixth year. Before the Horcrux hunt and before Harry and Ginny get together. She brews a potion (NO Microwaves involved. Lol) To get a vision of the future each boy would give her. Its not really divination its potions...

Dennisud: Oh yeah when Death and Destiny get together the party gets lit...

Star Potter I think is going to be a collection of short scenes by the time I get done with this here. Wow.

OfficerDonNZ: Yeah I had a lot more written touching on each of them and the pain they lost in crossing over but decided to focus on Harry and Hermione with a brief cameo by Luna.

Oh yeah. When I thought about it it just came up and slapped me.

Minerdude: Thanks. Sometimes its good to give a happy ending to someone.

Jadesabrexiv: lol. I used to watch a lot of Hitchcock movies. The old horror movies imply not show. You can actually get more scary that way than laying it out on the table...

Glad you liked it. Star Potter keeps coming back up in my mind too. As I'm enjoying it as well.

Hermione had two vials of potion. It was designed to give the witch who drank it a brief moment of what her life would be like with whomever she placed a few hairs of into. She hadn't told Harry or Ron about it but she asked them for some hairs. Ron had absolutely refused and resisted and she had to sneak into the dorm at night with some shears and clip a few hairs while he slept. She wasn't going to trust any hairs she did not know the exact source of anymore. Not after her second year fiasco. What was funny was Harry had looked at her and when she said it was for an experiment she was conducting and wouldn't hurt him or herself he let her clip some without resistance. That certainly scored higher points for him.

She dropped Ron's hairs in the first one. It sparkled fizzed and hissed until it turned a deep ugly mustard brown. She did not like the look of it but the vision would be the final test. She settled back in her chair and drank the potion. It tasted almost as bad if not worse than it looked.

She woke up to children screaming. Her belly was huge and tight in pregnancy. She was wearing a halter top of some sort that did not stretch to cover both her larger than normal breasts and distended belly. She felt further down to discover short pants of some kind. The side of her head ached and her lip felt sore.

She looked at her left arm to find a series of bruises that looked suspiciously like a hand print. She heard children screaming and managed to lever herself out of the chair she was in. The house had toys strewn about and when she entered the kitchen five red haired urchins were destroying the place. Three girls and two boys all looked up at her then demanded her attention simultaneously. The boys each claiming that the other had taken the last of the cereal. The girls all yelling that the boys had done something. One saying that Hugo had broken her dolly. They ranged in age from a toddler of 3 to a boy who was nine or so. She looked on the wall and saw a calendar that said it was only 10 years after they had defeated Voldemort.

"Shut up all of you. Go to your rooms now!" She shouted at the kids and they argued and shouted back. Not a single one of them moving to obey her. She raised her hands remembering this was only a temporary vision, albeit a very realistic one, she waddled her way to her own bedroom. She found it by trial and error but kicking a few beer cans out of the way went into the bathroom. Looking in the mirror she saw that she had a rather obvious black eye and busted lip. The rest of her face seemed tired and lines were already forming around her eyes and mouth. Making her look older than she really was.

She thought about the decorations on the walls of the house she had seen looking around. There was a large poster of Ron and a few pictures of her. None of Harry or Neville or any of their other friends. She tried to find her wand but couldn't. She opened the closet and the dressers and she found plain clothing or a few halfway sexy clothes. Nothing that indicated she had a job or a career or anything other than having kids and trying to keep the house. What was worse that the only books she had found in the house were cookbooks or sports related.

She collapsed on the bed crying. She felt the dissolution of the vision as she returned to her normal body. She ran her hands over her flat taught belly and her small handful of breasts just to make sure. She got up and looked in the mirror to find her youthful 17 year old face unmarred and still bright and happy.

She shook off the vision and got a drink. Cleared her mind and refocused. She dropped the hairs from Harry in and it reacted the same only this time the color was a deep scintillating blue. She tasted raspberries when she drank it. She settled back and felt the vision take hold.

She woke up pregnant again. Only this time she was wearing a pretty maternity dress with proper supporting undergarments. She got out of the chair easily. She felt what she assumed was the normal aches and feelings associated with being this pregnant but nothing else. She was sitting in a well appointed library that had books on three of the four walls. A large desk with papers and pictures and a few trinkets and awards on it. Her wand was in a cross draw holster that was built into the dress.

She looked closer at the desk and saw pictures of her and her mother. Hermione was in a wedding dress and smiling brightly. There was a picture of her and Harry holding hands in the other half of the frame. A picture of a small brown haired green eyed boy was on the other side of the desk. The papers all had various letterheads from the ICW, the Ministry DMLE, Regulation of Creatures and even Hogwarts. She picked up the Hogwarts letter and saw that it was from Minerva trying to talk her into coming and teaching Charms as Flitwick was getting ready to retire. She looked at the calendar and it was ten years since the day they had defeated Voldemort.

She smiled and walked out of the library. She heard a child laughing and went into the lounge to find Harry tickling the brown haired boy. He appeared to be about five years old. When they saw her they stopped and got off the floor. Harry put his arm around her and kissed her on the lips. "Hey hun. You okay? We didn't disturb you." He said rubbing her belly gently. The boy came over and hugged her leg. She reached down and tousled his hair.

"No you guys never disturb me." She felt happy and loved.

"Okay. I was going to go get lunch and DJ was helping me decide. Should we have Dragon bellies or fish and chips."

"I think fish and chips might be a bit more appropriate. Don't you DJ?"

"No I wanna eat dragons. Roar!" He said running around the room making roaring noises.

"DJ. What is the rule." Harry softly said.
"No running in the house when mommies home." He said standing politely. She looked at Harry who at least looked at the floor trying not to laugh.

"Well we may have to have a consultation about that." She said with a laugh as Harry began laughing with her too.

"Okay go start lunch I'll be along in a few. I need to uh." She said patting her belly.

"Okay. Have fun. So lets go make dragon bellies and chips. C'mon DJ." The boy leaped to his father's side and they went off to the kitchen she assumed, laughing as Harry picked the boy up and made him fly.

She looked around the lounge and saw one entire wall was nothing but pictures of her, of Harry, of their friends. A small diorama of Hogwarts was in a display case. She saw some newspaper clippings heralding her career with the Ministry and how it was believed she would be the next minister. Harry had been having a great career too it seemed as he was the DADA professor after having spent a few years as an auror. She felt the vision start to dissolve.

Returning to reality she felt a resolve form and definitely knew which of the two boys she had feelings for she was going to pursue. So long Ron, Hello Harry!
