Opening his eyes, Percy was greeted by a sight he had not been expecting. Surrounding him was the familiar setting of the Olympian throne room, with each and every God sitting atop their thrones, beside Artemis. Silence encapsulated the scene, each Olympian giving their attention to the one that had gathered them for a council meeting, Poseidon.
"I gathered you all here today because something horrific has happened in the last forty-eight hours." The sea God proclaimed, his eyes shifting like a storm on the verge of destroying entire cities. The Gods shifted in their thrones as they felt the awe-inspiring aura of the elder God. Zeus even looked apprehensive, electing to have his hand close to his lightning bolt in case.
"Ancient laws, etched in stone millennia ago and decreed by the Lady Fates, have been defied recently. Someone in this room has gone against the natural laws of our world and has wrought havoc upon people of mine." Poseidon said, his voice barely able to contain the rage he had been feeling. His piercing green eyes, just like his son, had gained an ominous, poisonous look to them as he glanced over at his brother.
"So what?" Ares interrupted nonchalantly, his head resting against his head as he looked at his uncle with boredom. "We have all broken the ancient laws more times than even Athena can count with that brain of hers. What's the difference now?" He asked, ignoring the withering glare thrown by Athena.
"It's not what he did, Ares…It's who he did it to." Poseidon replied, his grip on his trident tightening. Looking at his brother, the ground began to shake and the air became heavy as the two brothers squared off against each other. The other Olympians reeled back in the thrones as the aura emitting from the two elder Gods weighed down on them. Any mortal that was unfortunate enough to stumble upon the scene at the moment would've immediately been squashed from the incompressible gravity.
"Say what's on your mind, Poseidon." Zeus spat, his fingers itching closer to his bolt. Poseidon gave a mirthless laugh as his adrenaline spiked in preparation for a fight. He was ready for this. He was finally ready to put his younger back in his place. For far too long now he has been getting away with things that no one should. He has defied laws and killed many in his greed for power. It was time for that to end.
"You…" Poseidon said, his voice barely coming out as a whisper, his eyes tunneled on his brother with a red, rageful, tint. "You killed them. My love, my friend…my son!"
The others gasped at the statement, not believing what they were hearing. Although this has happened before with Zeus killing other God's favored mortals, he had never done it to Poseidon before. The sea God was too rageful to not respond back with equal aggression to the king, unlike most Gods. Zeus knew this himself which is why he had never dared to invoke the sea God's wrath. Until today.
"Wait!" Apollo cried out, interrupting before things went to chaos. "Father, please don't tell me it's true. Please tell me you didn't break the laws and killed Percy."
Zeus, not tearing his eyes away from Poseidon's gaze, responded with a feral smile written on his face. Lightning flashed within his eyes as the wind outside began to brew even harsher.
"I did." He proclaimed proudly, thunder loudly erupting in the background at the statement. The Gods were in a mix of emotions at the death of Percy Jackson. Some were glad, some were upset, and some didn't care. But one thing that they all agreed upon was that this revelation was a big shake-up for their world. Percy was the most famous demigod of this age and had done countless deeds for Olympus. Even though he left to pursue his own destiny, this would still be a major hit to their world. Especially since he was murdered by none other than Zeus. Poseidon would definitely not let this slide.
"Your son was an enemy of Olympus who openly attacked our children! You do best to remember, Poseidon. Once I felt his presence back in New York, I didn't hesitate to end him before he could kill even more of our people."
"Really? Oh, how noble of you, brother!" The sea God snapped back. "You swear by the Styx that's what happened? You swear that you didn't set up a cowardly trap for my son. You swear that you didn't send demigods to do your bidding and kill my son's family!"
"I do not have to swear anything to you!" Zeus spat. By now both brothers were at each other's throats, their hands in a vice-like grip around their weapons. Percy, although knowing this was a dream, couldn't help but feel nervous as he watched the scene. He could feel their aura hitting him like a truck even though he wasn't physically in the throne room. So this was the true power of the big three. It was magnificent, to say the least. He felt like an ant in a vast, brewing ocean, hanging onto a raft by a thread.
"Well, I'll swear something to you brother. Hell, I'll swear on the fucking River Styx. You'll pay for what you did. You'll feel the pain that I'm feeling. You, your lovers, your family, none of them are safe. I, along with my army and allies, will end your tyrannical reign once and for all, Zeus." Poseidon declared, his eyes practically emitting a sea green light. The other Olympians couldn't help but choke on the air as they realized what was happening. It seemed it was finally here. Something that all of them dread and hope would never come to fruition.
"What are you saying, Poseidon?!" Zeus mirthlessly smirked. His plan was working flawlessly now. He finally took out the thorn in his side which was Perseus Jackson and now he had the opportunity to take out Poseidon as well. His council would finally be free from the threat of the sea once and for all. The older brother opened his mouth but was interrupted by the harsh, blaring sound of alarms going off in the distance. The council all craned their heads in confusion as they wondered what was going on. Not too soon after came the hurried footsteps of one lone demigod into the throne room. With erratic breathing, he quickly knelt before the Gods.
"My lords and ladies, there's an incident at the prison. The newly brought prisoners have broken out with Percy Jackson leading them!"
All that the demigod got in response was silence before all chaos broke loose. Percy watched Zeus's eyes practically explode with lightning as he turned to Ares.
"Go…Get…Him…NOW." He breathed out, his voice on the cusps of rage. Just before Ares could manage to flash away, Percy watched in what seemed to be slow motion as his father's trident fly through the air at unimaginable speeds before piercing Ares's stomach, sending him flying backward into his throne. The force of the strike was enough to even have the weapon pierce even the God of war's throne, trapping him against it.
"You dare trick me!" Zeus savagely yelled out as he flung his lightning bolt toward Poseidon who managed to summon his trident back just in time to deflect the strike. The bolt was sent flying upwards into the ceiling, causing tons of rubble to come crashing down upon them. The other Olympians all screamed out in fear as they scrambled out of the way, not wanting to be in the middle of the brother's fight.
"You dare call this meaning just to deceive me!"
"Can't get rid of sons of the sea that easily," Poseidon smirked, infuriating Zeus even further to the point that he charged at him head-on, his fist gaining a golden twinge of lightning that lit the entirety of Olympus. Before the two beasts of nature could collide, the dream had finally come to an end, sending Percy flying awake from his spot on the ground. Gasping for air, he gripped his chest as he tried to stop the erratic beating of his heart.
"Woah, Woah, calm down, Percy. You're ok." A woman's voice said in his ear, gently rubbing his back in soothing motions. Groaning, the son of Poseidon leaned back down against the ground as he rubbed his tired eyes. It felt as if he had gotten no rest in the time he had been knocked out thanks to falling off that damn cliff. Somehow, his body felt much better than it had when he fell down and his injuries didn't seem that severe. They had probably just thrown him in the river for some time to let him heal. Craning his eyes upwards, he noticed that it was now night with countless stars shimmering high above him. He desperately wanted to just sit here in silence and just stare at them for hours without a care in the world but that wasn't possible. He was needed in the real world. Such are the woes of a leader.
"How many?" He asked, turning his head to Katie Gardner who sat beside him with a hand on his shoulder. How many did he manage to save? How many did he leave behind to suffer the confines of Olympus? How many had died?
"One hundred and sixty." Katie responded with a reassuring smile. Percy felt a lump form in his throat at that statement.
"One hundred and sixty?" He asked.
"One hundred and sixty." The daughter of Demeter confirmed once more, causing Percy to release a choked sigh that felt like he had been holding in for eternity. The floodgates threatened to break as he felt Katie hug him, feeling her smile against his neck.
"You did it, Percy. You did it." She whispered. Percy couldn't help the smile that split across his face as he hugged her back with an equal amount of force.
"I-It just feels good to finally win one." He whispered shakily. After everything he's been through, all the people he's lost, all the suffering and pain, it feels good to have something go in his favor. But the celebration could wait for another time. There was much that needed to be done now that they were back in Alaska. Things were only just beginning and probably wouldn't get any better for a long, long time. Getting up from his spot on the ground, he walked over to the group of demigods that were still awake, sitting around a campfire in silence.
"You're awake." Frank stated after hearing the son of Poseidon walk up to them.
"Somehow." He responded, sitting down next to him and relishing the warmth of the orange glow.
"That's what I keep saying. Somehow. Somehow we escaped Olympus. Somehow we're back here as if nothing had ever happened."
"It's surreal, to say the least." Jason replied, gesturing to the burnt ruins of their once-thriving camp. Percy watched from the corner of his eye his cousin who laid a hand over a sleeping Piper's shoulder next to him. The poor girl's skin was a sickly pale color and her body shivered from the cold even though she was next to a fire. Percy couldn't help but feel his heart drop in sadness as he remembered that she had once in pregnant. But that happy little flame in her stomach and all their lives seemed to be snuffed out judging by the bandages wrapped around her stomach. That child was a symbol of hope and new beginnings in his eyes but now he could see none of that for their near future. In order for that ever happen again in their lives, there needed to be change. Change that would shake the pillars of their world. Whether or not they wanted that, it was to come either way. The question was, would they be there to see it?
"What's all happened since I've been out?" Percy questioned, looking around the valley to see numerous campfires littering the ground with even more demigods sleeping around them. It seemed someone had gone out and gathered supplies judging by the sleeping bags, tools, food, and water around as well.
"Travis and Connor along with some others went to the town and got some supplies for us before night hit. Other than that we've just set up camp here as we waited for you to wake up." Leo pitched in while chewing a protein bar. The green-eyed demigod nodded his head. It was good to have some supplies especially since they were basically starting from nothing once again. Only this time they had over one hundred demigods to care for rather than just the original eleven that had started this journey.
"What of Artemis and Hecate?" He fired off another question.
"Hecate's over there sleeping next to some of her children. Artemis, on the other hand, we haven't seen her since she threw you in the river before disappearing into the forest."
So it was her that he had to thank for her quick thinking of throwing him in the river. But that could wait for another time. What needed to be done right now was actually finding the moon Goddess. It was dangerous out in the woods especially since she was weak thanks to the celestial bronze chains that had dampened her powers for a long time. Not to mention Alaska which did that naturally. What she was thinking of traversing out in a foreign land on her own with her weakened state was beyond him.
"I'll go look for her." He said, getting up from his spot.
"Woah, Woah, you just now only awakened. Surely you don't need to go out there on your own. She's a Goddess. She's fine." Katie said, trying to stop him from getting up but he's already made up his mind. Plus, he just didn't feel comfortable with her out there on her own.
"I'll be fine. Just watch the camp and shout if you see any monsters." Percy said before disappearing into the pitch-black wilderness. With leaves and twigs snapping beneath his shoes, he wasn't exactly going for the stealthy approach as he looked for Artemis. He didn't want her to accidentally shoot him with an arrow in case he somehow managed to sneak up on her. If monsters heard him then that meant only extra practice for him to get in the groove of things. His muscles and bones felt stiff from lack of training which was something he desperately needed especially with the coming times. With only the soft, silver glow of the moon shimmering through the branches aiding his sight, he carefully walked through the woods with his eyes peeled open for any signs of the auburn-haired Goddess. But after thirty minutes of walking with absolutely no signs nor even a hint of Artemis, Percy was about to give up. How was she able to disappear even though she was probably in the weakest form she had ever experienced in her years of living? No powers, no bow, and no hunters to aid her, yet she still managed to be as elusive as the wind. Deciding it was best to head back to camp and catch up on some much-needed sleep before the start of a very busy day, he turned around only to be greeted by said Goddess staring down at him from a tree branch.
The two stared at one another in silence, green meeting silver. He noticed that her eyes had lost some of their shine and her skin some of its glow but she still looked as ethereal as ever. She was also in an older body, taking on the age of eighteen or nineteen which confused him somewhat.
"You've been looking for me." She broke the silence with more of a statement rather than a question.
"Yeah, the others told me you came out here right after we arrived." He replied, clearing his throat. Artemis didn't reply, instead electing to look up at the moon that cascaded over their heads. It seemed she had a lot on her mind judging by the look on her face. Her features were tense and muscles strained, as if ready to pounce at any moment. She looked strong but he could see through her facade. She reminded him of a cornered animal. Weak, scared, and desperate to strive off the aggressors by appearing strong when weak. It was something he had learned all too well during his short time as a demigod.
"What do you want, Perseus?" She asked, watching as he climbed the branch she was sitting on albeit less gracefully than she had.
"Just seeing if you were ok." He replied, making sure he was positioned properly on the branch next to her. The last thing he needed was to break his neck from falling off a fucking tree in front of a Goddess.
"I am." She answered shortly, making Percy almost scoff at the response. This was going to be a difficult conversation with her but it needed to be done, especially if he was going to allow her to live at camp with them if she wanted to that is. She might just want to go back to the mainland United States or even Olympus but both were very stupid ideas to him. She probably knew that too which was why she was acting the way she was. She was angry, upset, and ashamed. Right now the last thing she wanted to do was talk to a male but it needed to be done.
"With respect, Artemis, you're not. I can even see it and I'm famously known for being oblivious when it comes to reading someone else's emotions." He said, making the Goddess give him a glaring side-eye.
"So what if I'm not? What are you going to do, give me one of your motivational talks and tell me everything is going to be ok? That everything will go back to normal?" Artemis venomously spat, her eyes gaining a furious squint as she closed her fist shakily. Percy almost reeled back at the sight of her anger. He had never seen Artemis this angry before and he was almost thankful she had lost her powers because if she hadn't, he had a feeling he would already be in the underworld.
"No, because you know why? Everything isn't gonna go back to normal and it probably never will." He answered truthfully, causing Artemis to look at him sharply this time. "For Gods's sake, Artemis, you were tortured by Zeus. Chained to a wall and drained of your powers. The camp that I had built for demigods was just destroyed and many of my friends were killed by the love of my life leading the attack. For fuck's sake my father just declared war on all of Olympus so no, things are not going to get any better!"
Silence enveloped them with only the sound of crickets chirping and the wind hitting trees being the background noise. Artemis's anger had practically dissipated in a second due to his words and instead had gone somber. Her eyes were downcast as she tried to avoid the son of Poseidon's gaze. Tears threatened to fall but she'd be damned if she allowed a male to see her cry.
"I'm glad you're not ok to be brutally honest." He admitted. "Because if you weren't then that means you didn't care to begin with. That's what I like about you the most out of all the Gods. You're the most human."
"Things are just spiraling out of control so fast." Artemis finally spoke, her voice slightly shaky from emotion. "One second we had just come out of a war and the next we're on the cusps of a civil one. My father tosses me aside like a broken toy, my hunters are nowhere to be found, I end up in a foreign land that is my natural enemy and I lose most of my powers. All in a matter of days."
"Bet that's something that hasn't happened in all your years of existence." Percy stated, causing Artemis to give a choked, disbelieving laugh.
"No, it most certainly has not."
"Thank you for tossing me in the river when we arrived. From what I heard from the others I was pretty banged up. How convenient that I was the only one to get teleported to the cliff. " He said, electing to bring the conversation elsewhere.
"Well that was more or less me just trying to get off of you but we'll go with that." She replied much to his amusement. She kicked her legs slightly as she continued. "Thank you too…for getting me out of there." She whispered.
"I would say no problem but that was easily one of the hardest things I'd ever done. Can't even imagine how I managed to save everyone from that Godsforsaken place."
"Indeed it is a wonder but you always seem to pull off the impossible." The Goddess replied before continuing. "Speaking of impossible, what were you thinking running away from Olympus and building a new camp?!"
"I simply wanted what was best for my people. I didn't want them to live the life I had with death at every corner. I wanted them to experience more than just death and suffering. And I managed to achieve that much despite everyone's doubts. We built a thriving, self-sustaining camp with new demigods coming in every day. No quests, no war, no Gods. It was wonderful, something I had never even hoped to dream of when I was still with Olympus."
"I'm sensing that there's more you want to say." The Goddess stated, causing Percy's weight to shift. He should've known that he couldn't hide anything from someone like her. She could see right past him.
"But in doing so, I'm afraid that I put them in even more danger." He sighed, remembering what had transpired in the throne room during his dream. Before Artemis could speak, he turned to her and for the first time in her years of knowing the son of Poseidon, she could see genuine worry in his eyes.
"I had a dream while I was passed out. I was in the throne room and I saw the council having a meeting. My father…he declared war on Olympus."
Artemis sighed as she realized Olympus was past the point of no return. The threat of war that she had been hoping to avoid for as long as possible was now at their doorstep.
"I knew it would come to this point one way or another. Olympus hasn't been under threat of collapsing from a civil war since the ancient days. It was only a matter of time before history repeated itself."
"I wanted to avoid war, Artemis. This is why we left. Now, it's staring at our faces again, itching to sink its claws in our throats and finish us once and for all."
"You don't have to join in the fray, Perseus. You owe no allegiance in this war." Artemis said but the demigod shook his head.
"I do. My father risked so much to get me here. Without him, there would be no Camp Freedom. I owe it to him to fight." He sighed, dreading the inevitable possibility of being on the opposite side of this battle. But his fatal flaw wouldn't allow him to abandon his father like that. He needed to be by his side even in the face of death.
"And what of the others?" She gestured back toward the direction of camp. "They need you. Don't you owe it to them to stay?"
"I do." He answered without hesitation. "But…they're not safe either. Eventually, another army of Olympus will come here and finish the job. Tomorrow, I'm going to tell them what all has happened and if they want to join in the fight, then so be it. I'm not going to force them to. I'm not Zeus."
The duo became silent as they sat back and pondered on what was to come soon and what their roles would be in this upcoming war. To be honest, both of them were scared shitless. They knew that this wouldn't be an ordinary war. There were no prophecies and no fate set in stone that could ease their worries about victory. This was pure survival of the fittest.
"What are you going to do? You're in the same boat as us. Once you leave Alaska, you'll be hunted by Zeus." Percy asked, causing Artemis to bite the inside of her cheek. She didn't like how he said that she was the one being hunted. She was The Hunter for Gods sake. But the son of Poseidon was right. She had a big target on her back and she was too weak at the moment to do anything about it.
"You're right as much as it pains me to admit it. My best course of action is to stay here in Alaska with you demigods. My powers are severely drained and won't be recovered for as long as I stay here but that's a problem for another time. My biggest concern is finding my hunters." She replied, hating how she didn't know the whereabouts of her girls. Were they safe? Were they being attacked constantly by monsters? Did her father already capture them? Countless questions raced throughout her head at the thought of them.
"We'll find them. I promise you." Percy brought a reassuring hand to her shoulder, almost surprised that she didn't shake it off. It seemed she was too sad to even care that a male was touching her. The Goddess brought a shaky hand to his and clasped it for a moment, looking for comfort that only her brother could make her feel. Thankfully, she found it in this demigod as well which didn't surprise her in the slightest. After everything they'd been through and the times he saved her, it was safe to say that she considered him a friend. A friend who could reassure her even in the darkest of times.
"For now though, let's head back to camp and get some rest. We have a long day tomorrow." The son of Poseidon said, hopping down from his spot on the tree. The Goddess took one last look at the stars, specifically the one of her old lieutenant before following the demigod's lead back to camp. She didn't know what the future had in store for them but as she looked at the broad shoulders of the son of Poseidon walking in front of her, she knew that he would play a major role in it.
-X-
"Where were you?"
Silence encompassed the valley at the one hundred and sixty surviving demigods huddled around their leader who had a somber look on his face. They couldn't believe that the man they thought had died during the attack was actually alive! When the building had blown up, they thought all hopes of him surviving had been lost but low and behold, he just shows up on Olympus and saves them, like a ghost unable to pass on because of unfinished mortal business.
While they were all extremely happy to see Percy still breathing, some couldn't help but feel anger, sadness, and betrayal. While their friends and family were getting slaughtered, their leader who was supposed to defend them, was nowhere to be found in their hour of need. It put a bad taste in their mouth to say the least.
"Percy…where were you? W-We needed you. And you-you just-" Piper, who was still weak and pale, couldn't finish the sentence as she hung her head low. Jason had his arms around her for support as he tried to soothe her. But no amount of comfort could heal the loss she was feeling at the moment. The only thing she could ask for was clarity from Percy. Clarity as to why he wasn't there to protect them. Protect her. Protect the baby.
Percy's eyes darted to all those that were looking to him for answers. He hated to do this to them just after they had escaped Olympus. Escaped wars, quests, all of the bullshit the Gods had put them through. Now here he was, about to tell them that it was about to happen again.
"I'll never be able to express just how sorry I am for not being there." He began. "The only thing I can do is tell you all what happened to me that night and you can decide from there if you want to forgive me or not."
Taking a moment to stop his voice from shaking, he closed his fist in a vise-like grip before continuing.
"On the night of the attack, Nico came to me and said he felt my mortal parents' souls in danger. Some of you know my mother and how she is when it comes to our world. So when he said that she was in danger, I knew something was up." Flashes of her face filled his mind, causing him to close his eyes. The stench of blood, his sister's cries, lifeless eyes staring up at him, the demigod's fear towards him…the joy he felt when he killed them. It was all hitting him at once causing his body to go into some sort of shock. He could feel his friends looking at him to continue but there was no way he could. He was stuck in time back at the apartment he had grown up in.
He hadn't had proper time to grieve for all those he had lost in such a short time. There was so much that needed to be done. Having time for himself was basically nonexistent and that consequence had finally caught up to him. His mind, his sanity, was beginning to slip. He could feel it etching throughout his brain and it wouldn't be long now until it encompassed it all.
"Hey, you ok?" Artemis whispered in his ear, causing him to come back to reality. Looking to his side, he could see her silver eyes filled with curiosity and perhaps even worry. He knew that she could see what was going on inside of him. The turmoil. The pain. The insanity. Nodding his head and giving her a subtle thanks, he cleared his throat before continuing.
"To make it quick, turns out it was a trap set by Zeus. He sent demigods to my mom's apartment to lure me there and kill me. He leveled the entire building to try to get me."
"Hades." Frank muttered, rubbing his tired eyes. None were surprised at Zeus's actions. He would do anything and kill anyone to get to Percy. The same thing happened to Nico's mother all those years ago.
"So the cycle continues." Nico said to no one in particular. He had a scowl on his face as he remembered what Zeus had done to his own. He knew exactly what his cousin was going through at the moment.
"And it will continue if things don't change."
"What do you mean?"
Percy hesitated for a moment. This revelation would cause an uproar throughout the camp but it needed to be said. They needed to be in the know before they were blindsided by an attack once again.
"My father declared war on Olympus. He did it right after we escaped from the prison." He announced, watching everyone's eyes practically bulge out from their heads.
"Holy shit." Jason said, a statement that everyone shared. The son of Poseidon could only nod his head in silence. This was something none of them, not even the Gods, had expected to happen so soon right after two previous wars.
"Yeah, I was afraid to tell you all but you deserved to know. I didn't want to keep this from you. But now one question remains. What do we do from here?" Percy finished. The demigods were silent as they contemplated. After everything they have been through to avoid war, here they were back on its doorstep again.
"While I don't want this to encourage anyone to join in, I want to say that I will be fighting alongside my father. I owe him at least that for all he's done for me. But don't let that influence you. The entire reason why we're even here in Alaska is to avoid war."
"You're not serious are you, Perce? After all the wars and shit you've been through, aren't you tired of fighting?" Nico exclaimed, somehow finding enough energy to heighten his rough voice.
"Of course I am." Percy whispered with a far off gaze. "I'm so…so…I'm just sick of it all. But I can't let my father fight this alone. I owe it to him after what he's done to get us here in Alaska."
"But the Gods can't enter Alaska without them losing their powers! Why not just let them duke it out and not have to worry about it." One demigod in the crowd asked.
"Because that doesn't mean anything. The Gods would just send another demigod army after us again." Percy replied.
"Not to mention that Ares could show up again. He somehow was able to come here and still have his powers." Frank exclaimed, causing all the original demigods who were there that night to shudder as unwanted memories flashed through their minds.
"Yeah, how was he even able to do that?" Percy asked, turning to Artemis who shook her head in response.
"No clue. It might have to do something with that red vial he had."
"We'll worry about that later." The son of Poseidon said, turning back to his friends. "But you all need to make a decision on this. We can't push this off any longer. The Gods are coming for us no matter what. It's up to you on how you'll meet them."
"And how should we meet them?" Jason asked, his eyes already gaining a determined, steeled look.
"Either with a sword in hand or a hand in chains."
His cousin wasted no time in joining Percy in favor of going to war. After what all has happened to them, to Piper, he wouldn't let that slide. They'll pay with blood for their actions.
"I'm in." The son of Jupiter said with determination in his eyes.
"Me too. I won't let you fight this alone, Percy." Nico pitched in.
Soon, one by one, each and every demigod present began to shout their intent of participation. After what had happened to them and all they've through, they weren't going to sit idle and let the Gods once and for all destroy what they've created. They weren't going to let their friend's death be in vain. They'll avenge them.
Percy's eyes shined with a fierce glare as he looked out at the hundred demigods who shouted for war against Olympus. He appreciated their enthusiasm and couldn't help but be reminded of the Titan War those years ago. But he had a feeling that this wasn't going to be a war he recognized. There were no prophecies this time. There was no fate to aid them this time. This new war, a war of revolution, was going to be something the like the mortal and immortal realm had never seen before. It was demigod against demigod. God against God. Family against family.
