Kendall can't wait to get married to Rava. She's beautiful, intelligent and has been accepted by his family. Even Roman likes her ("she's like the sister I never had") and Shiv loves her. There's just one slight issue: the prenup. It's not that he doesn't trust Rava not to take him to the cleaners in the event of a divorce, it's just something that anyone who marries into his family will have to sign. Logan would disinherit him if he got married without an arrangement in place.
When he tentatively broaches the issue with Rava, she raises an eyebrow but then says finally, "Yeah, sure. I'll get a lawyer to look at it for me." He breathes out with relief.
In the end, Rava's only stipulation in the prenup is that she gets full custody of any children they have. She knows what happened to Kendall's mother, and Logan's first wife. Kendall is happy to agree to that condition. It's not like they are actually going to split up anyway.
"We're gonna be so happy," he promises her as they lie on the carpet by the stairs, having failed to make it to the bedroom again. She's the best high he's ever had, better than heroin even.
It's the first of many promises to her that he ends up breaking.
