Back in the parking lot the following evening, the sky was still dim with orange and gold from the fading sunlight which was a whole lot better than rain like the previous day. The air was still a little cool so a jacket was still needed for today. With her car parked and locked, Saphira made her way towards the entrance to the pizzaplex. It was six thirty, so Saphira was very early for her shift, but she wanted to make a good impression. She had made sure to get enough sleep to be able to work the night shift, though she definitely was going to want coffee through out the night. Saphira was smiling as she walked through the front door and saw the familiar lobby in front of her, she glanced around, she felt like she had to keep looking around because this place was so big and bright, she did not even know how big it really was. While she looked around, Saphira spotted Carol at the Customer Service desk, so she decided to go over, only for one of the other receptionists to get up and open the red door that led into the office.

"Come in Saphira, we heard the good news," The younger girl said with a smile, holding the door open for her. Saphira smiled back at her as she stepped inside. "I am Laina, it is nice to meet you. I am about to head off home, so you can keep Carol and Leon company. Oh…" She placed a hand on Saphira's shoulder and leaned in to whisper. "I have a word of advice, when you get shown around, ignore Dave. He's kind of…weird towards any woman and man he deems as attractive."

Saphira was a little shocked before stepping away from Laina and taking a seat in a spare chair away from the desk, looking around the office. "Thanks for the warning. I hope Darren won't mind I am here very early."

"Not at all, he'll be thrilled actually," Carol responded without looking at Saphira as she was typing furiously on her computer. "He's on a phone call right now, so I am sending him an email. He should see it as soon as I send it."

Looking around the customer service office, it was a very tidy room. There were some lockers and filing cabinets here, along with a small coffee machine at the back that seemed to be used regularly. She saw a door at the back with men and women symbols on it, meaning it was a unisex toilet for the staff. She did see a security camera at the corner of the room, but Saphira was not concerned by that as she knew this place would need a lot of it. She wondered what the security camera room looked like, though that thought immediately seemed like a headache given the size of the place.

"I suppose everyone knows there is a new security guard right?" Saphira asked, looking at the three at the desk while they were still serving people.

She was not answered straight away, and that was fine. A few customers asked why she was not there, only to be told she was a security guard and that seemed to make a few customers nervous and not get too angry at the customer service team. It often amused Saphira that when people try to mean to summon in retail or customer service they change so quickly when someone who is security or police is around.

Laina brushed back a strand of brunette hair and turned her chair around to face her. "Most of us were told. The only ones who do not know yet are the technicians and the animatronics. You get the lucky job though, but I am not that great enough to be a security guard. Plus, I like sleeping at night too much."

"I am not too concerned about the animatronics not knowing, but I guess being the face of something that has to keep the technicians in check would be fun to watch a reaction for." Saphira glanced around for a moment, wondering if there was a map. "Is there a map of the pizzaplex?"

All three staff glance at Saphira with a smirk, making her uncomfortable suddenly. "You will get one, trust me, but you can only get a map from the map bots. Have fun with those." Carol chuckled softly and looked at the line, raising her hand. "Who was next please?"

"Why do you act like the map bots are dangerous?" Saphira glanced at one of the cleaner bots curiously. "Are they are all dangerous?"

"Of course, they are made of metal after all," Laina said with a shrug of her shoulders. "You'll find out what we mean anyway. The bots are all designed to not hurt a guest intentionally. If it happens, it is usually an accident or some kid runs in them or trips over them."

That made sense. Though Saphira was not looking forward to meeting these map bots, but if it was something that was a flaw in their system, she would be happy to try and fix that. Nonetheless, she was about to ask more details when the door of the customer service office opened and she saw Darren, he was wearing a dark purple suit this time.

"Evening Saphira, it is nice to see you so early before your clock in time. Come with me." He stood at the door, holding it open for her with a smile. Saphira stood up quickly to walk out of the room. "Most of my employees can't even bother being on time, I hope this puntuation will remain."

"Oh it will, do not worry about that." Saphira glanced at his suit again, she noticed his tie was silver toe and looked at him curiously as they walk away from the Customer Service desk. "I don't think I've seen this kind of suit before. I like it. Is this something guys wore in the eighties?"

"I am glad you like it, some people think that I am foolish for it." He shrugs for a moment with a smile. "And I am unsure about that, I know there were very wild suits that I am not keen on wearing. But I think this still fits." He chuckled and spun around with his arms out slightly. Saphira noticed he scanned a card over one of the ticket scanners and held the door open for her. "Anyway, let us go."

Saphira stepped through the scanners and gazed around with wide eyes. Being closer to the golden statue was a little bit intimidating. She noticed a gift shop on her right, the bright neon lights caught her eye and she saw it was called Glamrock Gifts. It was busy with a lot of people looking and buying gifts, she wondered what made the place the most money. The food or the gifts? She was not sure. She looked to her left and she was surprised by another customer service desk, she figured it was there for a reason did not question it. But it was busy and above it was Faz-Pad, it appeared to be a small café.

"Wow…this is a lot for a lobby." Saphira was amazed, her eyes gazed around and noticed an elevator behind the golden statue that went up to somewhere. It was under construction, but looking up made her see something beautiful above the statue. There was a hole in the roof directly above, but the railings around the hole suggests it was another floor. Around the hole were bright, yellow, triangle shaped lights, and the next floor had the same with a glass dome above with neon lights. "Oh my! That's something I have never seen before!"

"It's pretty beautiful, isn't it?" Darren asked, glancing up at the feature. "We are very proud of the art of this place." He looked at the elevator, gesturing to it. "We are holding this elevator will be done soon to go up to that floor where we will have even more attractions and restaurants."

"And more places to watch over," Saphira added jokingly. She noticed as they walk up the stairs there were escalators beside them which was a surprise to her. "Ah…it's either to encourage healthy exercise or laziness…that's pretty cool."

"Most people use the escalators, but yeah that was the idea. We like to regularly put them on maintenance just to piss people off, but also running them are expensive so it saves us money." Darren chuckled as they reach the top and he gestured to the right. "Over there is the daycare."

Saphira looked over to the right to see red double doors with checkers on the bottom. Above the doors was a large rainbow and a sign that read 'Superstar Daycare Pickup'. That was interesting, she had no idea there was a daycare here. "I suppose the really little kids can't go into the pizzeria?"

"Of course they can, they are just in there to give the adults a break half the time." Darren walked towards one of the elevators. "We are going to head up to the main atrium. The security staff office is here, though you don't have to go this way to get there. You'll figure out a great way around once you start your shift properly." He smiled as he stepped into the elevator and waited for Saphira.

Saphira worried she would not be given a proper tour now that Darren told her she would have to figure it our during her shift. But that must mean this place was so big, fitting a whole tour in the two hours of introduction might be a bit much. So, Saphira decided that knowing the main areas would be fine for now.

Once in the elevator, he pressed a button and Saphira jumped a little when music came on in the elevator. "Oh, yeah, now this is elevator music." Saphira began to bop her head gently as she listened to the music. "But I am curious, how many levels does this place have?"

"Uhh…a lot." Darren smiled at her and she looked at him in surprise. "We have the ground floor, which is what the lobby is on, then the next is the atrium, Rockstar Row and a few restuarants…I could literally go on and on about it. It's like a whole world of its own."

"I see…" Saphira had no idea how massive this place was. It was suddenly overwhelming, and she has not even seen the atrium yet. "I think this might take me sometime to figure out how to get around."

"Oh yes indeed." The elevator dings as it came to a halt and the doors open. Saphira moved to step outside. Darren suddenly stretched out his arm, holding his hand up to stop her from moving further. "Oh wait! Have you been told about the map bot?"

"I was told briefly." Saphira shrugged and turned to keep walking as Darren stepped out quickly. "I have a feeling it…WAAAHHH!" She jumped back after shrieking loudly, before her was a bot with a yellow chest with an exclamation mark on it. It had rushed at her and gave her a scare as she not expected it.

"Free map." The bot said in a monotone, male voice. "Free map."

"And you were not warned about that I presume." Darren walked over and grabbed the map, placing it into Saphira's held up hands. "They're harmless, but they're insistant."

Saphira blinked and placed a hand on her chest, she swore her heart would jump out of her chest. "Wow…you really need to reprogram them. You probably could give someone a heart attack with them."

"We have tried, but for some reason it always gets overrided." Darren shrugged and walked around the bot as it sped away to scare the next person coming off the elevator. "Come, you have got to see the atrium, it is the heart of this place and where the concerts take place."

Saphira frowned at the man a little. "I can't believe you speak about it like it's a normal thing. But I guess it is considering." She finally glanced up and her eyes widen in shock. She had to walk quicky to the railings to look over and she realized there were three stories to the atrium. "Oh my…this is…wow!"

Standing on the second floor of the atrium, Saphira saw how busy this place was. It was packed with families, young adults and teenagers, on the bottom floor there were heaps of tables people could eat, and there were a lot of people eating pizza, Mexican food and desserts. The aroma of the food tickled her nose and she glanced around to see the various attractions, such as Monty Golf, Roxy Raceway, Fazer Blast and Foxy's Pirate Adventures. She smiled as she glanced around, noting the different restaurants as well, El Chip's, The Bakery, Captain Foxy's Wharf and BBQ Gator, it was able to cater to so many different people.

"Wow this is great!" Saphira took in a deep breath. "Mmm…that food smells fantastic!"

"It really is. You will get the chance to try it too." Saphira rose an eyebrow and glanced at him slightly as she side eyed him, not believing him. "It is true. When everyone goes home, staff who work the night shifts are allowed to have pizza, icecream and drinks. You will get to have coffee of course, but since the shifts are long we do allow you to enjoy something."

Not having to bring her own food would help save her a lot of money. "I'll take advantage of that I think." Saphira glanced at the carpet to see Freddy faces all over it, the walls were red with neon lights all throughout. "This definitely is not somewhere for someone with epilepsy."

"That is true. Anyway, follow me, we are going to the bottom floor to head to the security office." Darren walked to a set of stairs and Saphira quickly followed him. "The animatronics are not here currently, Freddy and Chica are currently at the party rooms, Monty is in Rockstar Row showing off his bass skills, Foxy is at Kid's Cove, Bonnie is at the bowling alley and Roxy is currently at her salon giving a pet talk to the women there. You'll see them a bit later. Oh, also Sun and Moon, that bot is in the daycare."

"Wow…that is a lot of animatronics…and there's DJ Music Man? I assume he must be in a dance floor somewhere right?" Saphira glanced around as this place seemed like a dance floor. She was extremely nervous about meeting the animatronics, she did not know if she should be or not.

"He's a bit too big to fit anywhere else, so yes he is playing the best beats right now." Darren points up at the third floor of the atrium. "He's in Fazcade, that is where he will be all the time. He does not mind though."

Saphira could not help but wonder why Darren was speaking about the animatronics as if they were people. That was rather strange to her, they were just robots! They had no feelings, they ran on programs only. Saphira knew she was told not to think of think as just robots, but she just could not see them any other way. But if they were programed to respond as if they were human, that would make them easier to command.

"Okay, so this place is where the main party happens twice a week." Saphira was completely not paying attention and she nearly walking into a trash can and quickly avoided it. Darren glanced back at the sudden movement. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, yeah…I uhh, spaced out and didn't see the trash can. No biggie!" She rubbed the back of her neck and looked around some more. "Um, you were saying something about a party here."

"Yes I was. Over there…" Darren points towards a large stage. Behind it was a large half circle with piano keys following the curve and a dark purple, closed curtain waved gently from the air conditioning. "That is the main stage, and the main lift to take the animatronics down and up from Parts and Service. They all have a connection from their rooms in Rockstar Row to Parts and Service when they need their general maintenance that is done several times a week. There is also a way to get to the endoskeleton story from Parts and Service, but really the only way there is the lift or from the rooms in Rockstar Row."

Saphira looked at the stage curiously. "I assume the technicians live down there?"

Darren chuckled softly as he walked towards a blue door that had 'Security' written across it. "You can say that again. They have other areas of the complex they go to, but yes you'll mostly see them there."

Saphira glanced back and noticed she did not see any bars, it was mostly kid friendly. "Hmm…no bars?"

"There is, it's near Fazcade actually. That is a place you have to keep a close eye on too, we want no drunks roaming this place and ruining everything. It's called the Shy Foxette…I kind of wish we had a female Foxy with that name." Darren shrugged and opened the door into the security office. "Anyway, here is your home away from home."

Saphira stepped into the office and nearly scrunched her nose at the strong smell of cigarette that lingered in this room. "Oh my!" She coughed and covered her mouth. "Who was smoking in here?"

"I apologize, our last security guard loved his cigarettes," Darren said, he too had his mouth covered. "Jerry was supposed to smoke outside…the bastard!" He sighed deeply. "Alright, I am going to call the cleaner bots."

Saphira stepped backwards and looked at Darren curiously, he held his wrist up and was pressing some buttons. "The bots can deep clean too?"

"Oh yes! We need to save on spending money on professionals. They do a great job, so you needn't worry." Darren finished pressing some buttons and raised the wrist closer to his mouth. "Cleaner bots to security office, atrium. Deep clean carpets and eliminate bad odor." There was a quick, robotic response to confirm the order. "I suppose we should do something else while we wait…well, I do need to go through with you about the Fazbear Entertainment handbook and give you your uniform. Follow me."

Saphira was impressed by how this business was able to save its money by using robots to do things. Whoever designed them did a great job, and she wanted to meet the man or woman behind it all. Saphira followed Darren while making a note of everything she could see in the atrium to make her way back to the security office without much trouble. Though she was shocked that Darren no one knew the state of the security office, that made no sense. That meant the security of this place was done either somewhere else, or they did not care. She nearly froze when she saw three bots zooming towards them and avoided them, holding her arms up slightly as she did so.

"You are okay, the bots will avoid you," Darren said calmly with a smile. "I know your experience with the map bot was not great, but the rest really are. You'll learn to love them." Saphira did not think so. She was led across to the other side of the atrium and he opened a door leading into a long, dull tunnel. "Alright, now this should be much quieter."

Saphira was a little creeped out by the hallway. It was dark, cool and the musky smell was not comforting. However, she stepped inside and Darren closed the door to lead the way. She followed him down the hallway and up a set of stairs. Saphira paused as she heard voices from above and glanced around thinking she was crazy, she spotted a vent above her however and realized it was another office.

"What room is that up there?" Saphira asked curiously.

"That is the daytime Rockstar Row security office," Darren responded, and Saphira looked at him with shock. "Now, now, we have more than one security office. But we do only have one for the night guard. So please don't feel like you're left out." He opened the door at the top of the stairs into a large room. "This is one of the staff rooms here, there is a fridge, microwave, coffee machine and all the comforts of home. Much better than an office, the staff upstairs come down here on their lunch breaks."

Saphira looked around the large rectangular room, there were multiple blue sofas with Freddy's face on the left sides of them, a coffee table sitting in front of the big flat TV and a small kitchen area. It was pleasant, Darren walked over to the coffee machine and placed one cup underneath.

"What do you like?"

"Um…just a mocha thanks, and full cream, I am not lactose intolerant," Saphira responded as she takes a seat, glancing around curiously. There was not much else to see here, it was pretty boring. "Are you the owner here Darren?"

"Me? Oh, ha, ha, no, no! I am not, thank god!" Darren chuckled as he pushed the buttons on the machine to have it make a mocha for Saphira. "I am one of the managers here, there is also Samantha, Cliff and Mimi, they run different areas of the facility. You'll meet them soon. I run the security, customer service and retail areas here. Cliff, he manages the technicians, IT and oversees the creation of new attractions. Mimi is the manager for marketing while Samantha has the cosy job of being the manager of the finances and administration. I have the busiest job out them I think."

"So…who are the owners? Are the same as the earlier establishments?" Saphira was curious as she wondered who had so much money to build a place such as this and create amazing robots that could bring them more money if they chose to sell them to the world.

"No, the franchise was purchased by someone, but the voice your hear on the intercom is supposed to be the owner. I am afraid not many of us knows his true name. We just call him Mr Miller." The coffee machine began to hiss loudly as it filled the cup with hot milk and mix the chocolate and coffee together. "I am afraid you may not get to meet him."

Saphira accepted that, some owners just left their businesses to be run by qualified managers. She was still curious who owned the franchise before this Mr Miller. She shrugged, not knowing anything other than assumptions. Right now, she wondered how much paperwork she had to go through to get to know the do's and don't's of the place, and she did also wonder if he had her uniform. He had been carrying something under his jacket this whole time, so she assumed that is what it was. Darren walked over with the cup of coffee and returned to the machine to make his own, Saphira held the cup and blew the steam away before sipping. She was surprised that the coffee was decent, and that meant she could enjoy the coffee while she worked here at least. She knew she would be meeting the animatronics soon, and that terrified her.
