Saphira looked at the screens curiously, she had been sitting here for a whole hour and she was finally able to spot the animatronics. She had not been actively looking for them simply because she was too nervous to. She found Monty first in Rockstar Row, he had just finished playing his guitar and was farewelling the kids and adults that were there. And he was huge! She was not even there to see that, he was taller than the adults around him and she could see the claws he currently had. She did not even know why he needed new claws, and it frightened her. He was green all over with spots on his legs to make it seem like he had pants on with a yellow chest plate, purple feet, the palm of his hands were purple and he had purple shoulder pads, and while he was being friendly to all the kids with his sunglasses covering his eyes, the fact he was towering above everyone was just making her shudder. Maybe he was a nice robot, but Saphira did not know how safe she would feel about him. In fact, she was staring at the monitor when she was startled by movement in one of the other cameras. She switched the view quickly to the lobby, she justed missed the top of a black hat someone was wearing. She knew Freddy wore one, and she could not help but wonder what he looked like. The golden statue at the front gave her an idea, but to meet him in person…she shakes her head.

She turned away from the monitors and rubbed her eyes gently, she needed to not be so worried. It seemed so foolish, these things were things kids loved and here she was being scared of them. She sipped more of the coffee she had made with the coffee machine and glanced at the time. It was nine-thirty and people was starting to leave the building to head home. That was good, it was becoming less crowded and now came the time to start keeping a closer eye on all the visitors to make sure they were going home. She saw parents leaving the daycare with crying kids who seemed to be having tantrums, a couple kids trying to hide in the atrium and even a few adults in the Shy Foxette were a little tipsy. Okay, Saphira grabbed her flashlight and placed it in her belt before leaving the room. She made her way up to the third floor and approached the entry to the Shy Foxette. The image on the wall was a white Foxy figure with golden cheeks and eyes, the character was holding a Japanese fan over her snout with half closed, suggestive eyes. She rolled her eyes, this was a strange image to have here even if most kids overlooked it.

As she entered the bar, she looked around to see it was a dark space with many neon lights on the roof creating floral patterns. People were walking past her happily, and she spotted one of the women who was refusing to leave the facility. She noticed at the bar there were bots serving the drinks, they were refusing to serve her more as they were scanning her and knew she was tipsy.

"You have had enough, time to go home," Said one of the bots in a monotone tone.

"Oh come on! One more drink!" The woman pressured, leaning on the counter and stretching her glass over. "I want one more!"

"Ma'am." The woman jumped and turned in shock when someone spoke to her directly. Her shaky, blue eyes met Saphira's green eyes. "I believe you have had enough to drink. I think you should go to the next bar."

The woman frowned and placed her hands on her hips with a scoff. "And just who do you think you are telling me I have to leave?! My husband and son are here! They will be furious if you make me leave."

"Right…" Saphira moved her wrist up and pressed a few buttons on her Fazwatch. "Your name is Jane Simons, right? Your husband James and son Aiden are currently at the lobby waiting for you." The woman widened her eyes as she was bewildered Saphira found their profiles. "I am the night guard ma'am, please leave the facility. I would prefer if we do not get law enforement involved."

"Security guard?" The woman started to laugh in a mocking tone loudly. "You can't be serious. You, a girl, a night guard? That is a great joke!" She continued to laugh loudly and the other guests began to leave more quickly while giving her dirty looks. "Why are you all looking at me like that? She can't do her job properly!" Jane lifts her hand and points her finger at her chest. "Now listen here…"

Saphira grabbed the woman's wrist suddenly and forced the woman to turn around, forcing her arm behind her back. "NO, you listen here Mrs Simons!" Saphira hissed sternly as she began to push the woman towards the exit. "It is time for you to leave! If you continue to resist, I will call the police. I don't care if you think I am not good as a night guard, but I assure you, I went to martial art classes to ensure no one can mess with me." She shoved the woman out of the doorway and Jane nearly falls over due to being tipsy. "Now get on the elevator and go down to meet your family. You are the one wasting time!"

The woman acted all offended and points at Saphira accusingly. "This woman just pushed me! Someone call security!" She screamed, making Saphira roll her eyes and everyone around look at her as she was an idiot.

"Uhh…lady…she is the security…" One man said while making a face at her. "You should probably leave."

"Yeah lady, you're acting like an idiot," A young lady said sarcastically. "Hey, security lady, you should get one of the animatronics to come over and shoo her away."

Saphira's face twitched at that, she definitely did not want to do that. But Jane immediately became fearful and stumbled away while mumbling to herself. Saphira sighed deeply and followed the woman to make sure she got to the elevator. Thankfully she did, even if she said some nasty to things to other customers in the elevator before the doors closed. Saphira was relieved, that was one thing that was dealt with. Thankfully, the other unruly customers had left by the time she had arrived, so she only had one person to deal with. While the building was not yet closed, attractions were closing. And this included restaurants. She saw El Chip's was closing and people were being upset they could not get anything. Saphira walked over to get them to leave while informing them it was their fault for not eating something earlier. Dinner was over, they could easily pick up something on the way home. The pizzeria itself had shut off the restaurant too and it was only what was left that was being sold, which meant fresh pizzas were not being made anymore for the night. Only the staff would be able to do that now. She glanced at Fazcade, it was not yet closed as people were still in there playing and partying, she was nervous about going in there and chasing people out anyway so she hoped she did not need to go in there. She looked at Bonnie Bowling as she knew that had closed a half hour ago, it seemed no one was going in and out as the roller doors were down. But she thought about checking there soon anyway, but she knew Bonnie could still be in there as she has not yet seen him.

"Saphira, can you come down to Parts and Service please?" Cliff's voice spoke through the Fazwatch, startling Saphira. "Monty is about to arrive and Bonnie is on his way. You will get to meet them both, the other bots will meet you a bit later."

Great…time to meet them. Saphira swallowed nervously as she looked down at the stage. She did not want to go down there right now, but she had no choice. "I am on my way."

Saphira did not want to get so anxious on the first night meeting the animatronics as she made her way to the bottom floor of the atrium. And she was not in a hurry to get there either. She kept her eye out for any possible trouble that might be happening in the atrium. So far, nothing really was catching her eye at the moment. She breathed in deeply and reached the bottom floor, walking slowly towards the main stage when she heard the sound of angry footsteps behind her. She was about to turn around only for someone to grab her shoulder and force her to turn around.

"Excuse me, do you work here?!" Came the most obnoxious voice Saphira has heard in her life. Standing before her was an overweight, blonde woman with short hair, the Karen haircut, her makeup was caked on and she had a young boy beside her in tears. "Well? Are you?!"

"Yes, I just started today." Saphira breathed in deeply as she guessed this was going to be a problem. "What is the problem?"

"Problem?! Problem!" The woman hissed, spitting slightly through her teeth and Saphira leaning back slightly to avoid the spit. "I don't care if you just started today, or last year, you are going to pay for what happened tonight! I booked for a Freddy and Chica birthday party in the party rooms and when I got there they told me I was too late! I was not late!"

"Ma'am, what time did you book the party for?" Saphira asked as calmly as possible.

"Six o'clock, pfft, but I needed time to perfect my makeup and get Danny here ready. So we got here at seven!" She raised an eyebrow at the woman, not knowing what to say since it was her own fault that she was late. "I don't care that I got here at seven! We had a party package booked for twenty people, and we couldn't even get in! I didn't see anyone that we invited either. I want a refund!"

"Ma'am…I am not sure what you want me to do. I am just the security guard." The woman opened her mouth to speak again, only for Saphira to raised her hand to stop her. "Don't interrupt me lady…" That pissed her off and she flared her nostrils dramatically to show it. "You got here at seven instead of being here on time for your six o'clock reservation. The company has every right not to refund you for that. It is a quarter to ten now, and you have spent at least two hours here even if you had that package."

"That is because I was at the customer service desk arguing with your useless staff!" The woman snapped back. "Now they will not talk with me! Who is your manager? I demand to speak with him?"

"I am afraid he went home." That was not true, but Saphira doubted Darren would want to bother with this woman. "And there is no one else to talk to either. I am just the security guard. So I have every right to drag you out of this building if I have to."

"How dare you say that to me! You will not drag me out! I'll call the police and have you arrested, young lady!" The woman points her ugly, blue painted nail at Saphira chest. "Now get me someone who can refund me, or else!"

Saphira rolled her eyes at the woman and raised her wrist. "Carol, Laina, Leon, if any of you are on can you please make a call for me?" The woman smiled with a smug expression like she has won. "I need you to call the police, we have a woman who is refusing to leave because she was late to a reservation."

"Oh, yeah, we were dealing with her before," Came Laina's exasperated voice. "Not a problem Saphira, we will contact the police immediately."

Saphira smiled and looked at the shocked woman. "Now please, Karen, let's go to the lobby together and wait for the police to arrive. And make sure to contact your husband so he can pick Danny up and take him home. He does not need anymore shame being your son right now."

The woman stuttered and huffed, but Saphira grabbed her by the arm and pulled her to the elevator. She stepped into the elevator with the woman and child, pressing the button to go to the lobby. If looks could kill, she would be dead. But Saphira paid no mind to the woman and simply hummed along to the music of the elevator.

"I am going to sue this place! It will be closed and turned into rubble by the end of the week!" The woman threatened. "Do you hear me?!"

"You can try. I don't care." Saphira did not even glance at the woman. "I am sure you have done this to a lot of places and got nowhere. So, I definitely welcome you to try." She brought up her wrist again to contact Cliff through the Fazwatch. "Cliff, I am going to be a little late. We have a little Karen problem at the moment." The woman huffed loudly and looked away, sticking her nose up dramatically. "I will come down as soon as I can."

There was loud laughter coming through the Fazwatch, it made the woman's eyes twitch in irritation. "Alright, I understand. I can't believe it, your first night and there is already trouble. You're handling it well. We will be waiting for you."

"Ooh…that's the manager is it?" The woman inquired with a sneer.

"Nope." Saphira looked at her, blinking her eyes dramatically with a fake smile. "That's just a technician, I have to keep them in line just line you. So be a good girl." She glanced up when the elevator dings as it came to a stop. "Ah! Our stop, get off."

The woman said nothing as she just huffed and walked off the elevator with her nose held high. Her son sniffled and followed her, he was clearly embarrassed about his mother. Saphira felt bad for the kid, he looked to be about seven years old, but she did not say anything to him right now because she knew his mother would do something if she did. Saphira escorted the woman and child to the bottom of the lobby. She was surprised to already see a couple officers standing at the door, they were talking to Laina, another couple and a middle-aged man. The man turned around and glared at the woman, putting his hands on his hips while the woman just huffed loudly.

"Sarah! What the hell do you think you were doing?!" The man demands loudly, not even before the woman made it through the exit barriers. The woman was a little startled by how deep the voice was, but acted like nothing happened. "You made Danny wait two hours to get your hair and makeup done, making him late for his party? What the hell is wrong with you?!"

"Nothing is wrong with me dear, this place just did not wait for us!" The woman snapped snarkily. "They won't even give us a refund!"

"Of course they won't, you were late. I only found out when I got here to join the party, that was an hour ago and I could not even find you!" He huffed and shakes his head in disappointment. "Plus, you hit someone's car and didn't even stay to get the details. No wonder the police are here."

"It's no big deal, it was just a scratch!" Sarah responded nonchalantly.

"You dented our car too Sarah!" The man snapped before softening his expression and looking down at his son. "Come here son." He drops to one knee and held out his arms. "I am sorry your birthday was ruined." The boy ran over and threw his arms around his father's body. "It's alright, I'll get you some icecream on the way home."

Sarah rolled her eyes and tensed suddenly as one of the officers approached her. "Ma'am, I need you to come with us. You hit that couple's vehicle and told them you won't be giving any details. Is that correct?"

"I didn't do anything officer, they just got in the way." Sarah rolled her eyes before pointing at Saphira. "Arrest this girl! She's prevented me from speaking to the manager!"

"I can't do that ma'am, she's the security guard and has done her job." He bows his head towards Saphira who smiled at him, grateful for his respect. "We got a call regarding your behaviour here towards the staff, so you will be coming down to the station. A tow truck has already removed your car."

"WHAT?!" The woman shrieked, causing the entire lobby to go silent because she was so loud. "How…what…Peter, stop them!"

"No. You brought this on yourself, and this time you will pay for it." The man held the boy in his arms and stood up, looking at the officer. "Do what you need to do. I have to sort out things myself tomorrow."

"Of course sir." The officer pulled out a pair of handcuffs. "Ma'am, placed your hands behind your back and come with us to the car."

The woman stamped her feet and whimpered loudly like a child, but she put her hands behind her back and the officer cuffs her wrists. Then she began to wail loudly and tried to get away, screaming that they were hurting her and she begged for help. The other officer ran to help drag the woman away and Saphira watched them leave the lobby. She could not help but chuckle a little and shake her head. Some people were amusing and annoying at the same time. With that sorted, Saphira waved to Laina and turned to head back up the stairs to the elevators. Now she had to go and meet the animatronics. Well, two of them anyway. Once she was in the elevator, she breathed in and our deeply.

"Come on Saphira, you can do this!" Saphira said to herself to motivate her. "They are just robots designed to entertain kids. They're friendly…it is not as if they have claws that can scratch or teeth that can break my bones." She shakes her head and clenched her hands. "Maybe I'll get used to them, they can't be that bad. Can they?"

The pep talk attempt did not work and Saphira was only a lot more nervous. When she was back on the atrium, she was surprised by how almost empty it was right now. There was only a small amount of people at the moment, and she glanced at the time. It was now ten and made her way to the stage to head down to Parts and Service. She glanced over towards her office, she was extremely tempted to hide there until all the customers had gone. But she did not want to piss anyone off on her first night, so she made her way onto the stage cautiously and pressed the button to go down.

Welp. It is now or never.

She reached back to grab her hair with her hand and twirled it in her finger nervously, she stared at the wall as the lift lowered down and she was going through over so many scenarios of the bad things that could happen when she meets the animatronics. It was foolish, she knew that, but she was terrified. And her heart was beating like she was in a race right now. She felt her body jolt slightly when the lift hit the bottom and she swallowed hard again, making her way off the lift and down the hallway. She was still twirling her ponytail as she walked through the first set of doors and stopped in front of the second.

Okay…you can do this Saphira! Showtime!

Pushing the second set of doors open with her hands, Saphira sat Cliffton, Marian and Daisy, she also saw Dave and two other men, Jack and Mason, they were near the cylinder talking. But they were not just talking with each other, oh no. Turning his chin and lowering his yellow rimmed, purple sunglasses, the yellow eyes looking back at her with curiosity.

"Evening champ, you must be the new night guard. Nice to meet ya!" Saphira was frozen as the animatronic turned to face her. She saw his yellow chest plate, green body and his sharp teeth on that alligator mouth. He lowered one of his eyelids as if to express raising an eyebrow. "I just got done with my usual maintenance, you get the pleasure of dealing with Bon Bon here."

Her eyes glance over to the rabbit animatronic. He had a purple body with slightly darker purple shoulder pads, hand palms and feet, his chest was a light purple as well with two, large yellow stars with a red trimming and a magenta bow above his chest plate. He also had a pair of star-shaped glasses, they were golden with a violet shade, but they were resting on his forehead. His ears had pink piercings in them and his legs looked like he had a ripped pair of jeans on. His left leg was fully covered in magenta pink with black stripes while his right thigh only had a quarter of the length painted on his thigh. Though his right calve was black, which was unusual. And along from his shoulders to the 'pants' were black straps. His left cheek had a yellow star on it and he had a set of rabbit teeth on the roof of his mouth. Saphira could not help but shudder a little, but the rabbit's eyelids lower slighty to show some concern for her.

"Are you okay?" The rabbit said in a gentle, soothing tone that Saphira almost fell for. "You seem…well, you seem pale."

"Do not worry Bonnie, Monty, this is just Saphira's first day." Cliff pats Bonnie's shoulder gently and walked towards Saphira. She was still holding the doors open and she was staring at the bots. They were taller than all of them! "Come on Saphira, they are not going to hurt you. You will be fine."

"I…I didn't realize they were huge," Saphira whispered nervously, looking at Cliff with worry. "Are you sure…"

"Of course!" He held his hand out to her and she hesitated. "Bonnie and Monty are used to frightened kids, they know to be gentle." Saphira sighed deeply and takes the extended hand and finally walked through the doors. "Wonderful! Oh, and let me introduce you to Jack and Mason. They have been here for two years."

Saphira turned her gaze from the animatronics to the two men waiting for her. "Hello Saphira, I'm Jack!" The young man with short, black hair and brown eyes said with a wave of his hand.

"And I am Mason, pleasure to meet you." The olive-skinned man said with a smile, flashing his brilliant white teeth. "You seem a little nervous. I hope you are doing okay."

"Oh I am fine, just fine…" Her voice trails off as she lets go of Cliff's hand when they got within several feet of the animatronics. She sideeyed them with a slight frown and gazed at Cliff. "Are you sure I need to be trained tonight?"

"Company procedure Saphira, you need to know it okay?" Cliff walked over to the computer by the cylinder, gesturing to it. "This is the protective cylinder here, we do most of our repairs and maintenance in there. The machines inside will assist us with any issue and the animatronics have a nice, comfy chair in there to lay on. The hand unit will guide you on what you need to do as well."

"Ooh…that's nice…" Saphira looked away for a moment as she was extremely nervous. She turned her head back, only to be shocked to see Monty's face closer to her as he had leaned forward. "Ahhh!" She jumped back and placed a hand on her chest. "Oh shit! Sorry."

Monty blinked in shock at the girl's reaction and frowned slightly. "This is our new night guard? What was Darren thinking hiring a wimp?" He straightened up with a hump, adjusting his glasses to cover his eyes. "What a waste of time!"

"Behave Monty!" Bonnie hissed at the gator bot, he lifts his hand to move him away. "You won't do any good helping her to get over that fear by acting like that." He turned his head towards Saphira and looked at her with kindness. "I am sorry Saphira, we had no idea you were afraid of us. If there is anything we can do to make it easier, let us know. The bonehead here can be hotheaded sometimes, so we will do our best."

This animatronic spoke to her like it was caring about her feelings. How was that possible?! Saphira's head was spinning and she felt as if her head was about to explode. However, whatever was done to his voice box, it made him seem like a great friend who can soothe you so easily. And she did not mind it, compared to the rough voice Monty had.

She pressed her fingers together nervously. "Well…I don't know what you can do. But I will try to get on with you guys…" She glanced at Cliff as he watched her with a raised eyebrow. "I suppose I have to come over right...?" The man nods affirmatively. "Hmmm…okay."

Saphira walked over to the console cautiously. She felt the gaze of the animatronics on her without even looking at them and that made her shudder. She felt stupid feeling afraid of them, but she was and she was right in front of them. Monty might be right, she's a wimp towards them, but she was good in every other aspect. She knew she would need to meet the other bots, so she had to figure out how to relax at least around them. Especially since she was about to be up close and personal to one of them.
